Haha, cute! Very Cannonfodder like. I dig the little icons above the heads.

Haha, cute! Very Cannonfodder like. I dig the little icons above the heads.
Starts being playable, needs AI badly :) On my system the mouse cursor is almost black, hard to see.
Heck, that looks impressive! The idea is good, but the gameplay is lacking. The music is getting annoying fast and it's hard to destroy more of the viruses.
At the first two levels i though booooring, but later on it's being kinda fun. Nice splattering but very repetetive.
Quite nice. Plays good. Kinda the game i like. The app task stays open if closed by Alt-F4.
The idea is nice, but i was actually never able to kill all the bad cells. They outgrew my efforts :) The game definetively needs soft scrolling, it's hard to follow otherwise.
The entry is not completed. It could be fun though. The app task stays open.
Wow. Looks awesome. Has some small texture seam problem though, but who cares.
100 seconds is too long for a new weapon, gets boring before. Maybe make that time smaller, or add some other behaviour types.
Nice, looks extremely simple for the first few, but gets hairy later on. One problem, sometimes the random molecules/viruses spheres intersect which leads to false previews.
Haha, great! Plays nice like GTA :) I only got the car stuck in a narrow way once :(
Looks good, sounds good, plays good. But somehow it's a bit repetetive.
That's the most funny idea i've seen in the compo :) It could use some nice slimey sound when spreading.
The idea is nice, the look is very good. Somethings wrong with the speed and/or the controls. The helicopter falls too fast, i couldn't land on one of the sky scrapers at all.
Good idea, plays and looks nice. Needs some balancing, either you win at once or don't stand a chance.
Lovely idea, now that's infecting! Needs sound to make it more lively. Maybe make the antivirus move differently, it's too predictable.
Cool idea, but on my pc all the dots are white. The collision detection must have been a pain to do.
Neat idea, but runs too fast for me. Can move but not really act before getting caught.
Too bad it's not really finished, could be fun
Good one! Kinda tough though after the 3rd level
I like the extra feature of being able to squash the eggs with your vehicle :) Play's nice, not too hard. The models could use a few textures though.
Very good, sneaking puzzles rule!
Dang, if it finds a joystick it wants to use it. And my gamepad is broken... I won the first level but i don't know why. I was actually overrun?
Yet another sokoban, but with infection theme.
Nice GTA clone. The car movement could use some tweaking.
Everything looks working so far, but the controls appear rather sluggish.
Good. Simple and good. A little repetetive though.
Enterprise almost always rules, but it's too easy. The real game puzzle is that you have to move the tribbles out of the round head and then it's piece of cake. Add some walls to the rooms!
Looks nice, not too much surprises. Kind of annoying when bouncing on the screen border.
I love it! Gotta complete it!
Looks very polished already, it's a shame it ain't completed. Can the player actually shoot or not yet?
Hmmm. Snake. And i don't like the music. Sorry.
Funny, but sometimes it looks you don't control too much, just build a new pattern space, pattern, space.
Like it. Nice idea, but needs balancing. You're getting squashed very fast.
Nice idea, but not completed? I can't shoot.
Yeah, I see there is a bit of explanation missing. The resource bars on the left show the distance to the ore source. You need to reach 100% to mine it. Once you've got one of the mineral locators you'll see an arrow once you're close enough. Helps a lot.
I wanted to put more diversity on the planets, but alas, it wasn't meant to be :)
The link should work now, sorry about that.
Hmm, that's weird. I can't notice anything unusual and can also access it without problems. I'll see to contact the provider.
Sorry about that, arielsan. There's quite a few balancing problems, esp. also the high prices for the last few items. I reduced the chance of alien tech too much. I'm working on an improved version, which is ported to my common framework.
How funny. If using IE you get the crustacian cannon game. The same link is going to your game with FF. That is very uncool dumbfuckery.
The game itself is a neat little thing. The mechanic is nice but the game is not really challenging. Dying usually happens due to misplaces dynamite. A bit more variety would help this a long way.
Same problem as k_wright here, can't move anywhere; floating above a bed from the start.
@ippa: Thanks, I tried that, but the player was completely stuck. He was floating and could not move with any keys (I mashed all over the keyboard). Seems to be some weird timing bug maybe.
Yay, I can play it now :)
Thanks for the fix! Nice engine, cute story.
The most prominent problem is the constant jumping. It would really help along if the player could walk up 1 pixel steps. Other than that very nice. I would've loved to see a bit more of interaction, but solid game for 48 hours.
Waiting for the Windows package
Thanks for the Windows build!
Nice little game, obviously not at all innovative, but fun. And that's where the cake is at.
Neat, it's actually kinda fun.
Some of the orb combinations are tough. I wish I could jump with the mouse (and the mouse would be captured in the window), right now it breaks my fingers.
Neat game. Not too much of a challenge, but a solid game nevertheless. It could use a bit more of variety in level design as well as enemies.
Quite neat and well done.
A bit annoying that you need to go visit the first explored planets again with the better explor-o-dans. It would also help to see on the map which planets are fully explored.
The idea is sound (hurhur), but the implementation is confusing. I deduced that I need to hit the colored switches in rhythm following the pattern but it also worked fine if I hit them simply in the given order.
In so far I had no real problem beating all stages.
Iron out the confusion (I have no idea how though) ;)
Lovely implementation, if only you'd had the time to get a game in there as well.
I hope you keep working on that bugger!
Impressive, a quite faithful remake of Spindizzy!
Alas you also remade the annoying controls ;)
The most prominent problem is that the isometric directions seem to be turned 90 degrees than the common approach. A few screens seem not to match up.
Still, for 48 hours this is most impressive.
A few interesting ideas in there, but they didn't want to come together.
The alien overlord thingie is nice but it didn't make any impact I could deduce.
The cars seem too big for some of the other tracks. Other than that not bad for 48 hours.
A bit more realism with the car handling and a lap limit plus win condition would add to this immensively.
Looks interesting, I'd love to see a Windows version.
Thanks for the Windows build. I'm actually surprised. The merge of Minesweeper with a rogue like works pretty well.
Now I just wish you could use some of the carried items (the map) and have an inventory (ie. more rogue elements).
Well done!
Pure awesomeness!
I'm obviously fucking twisted and also insane for trying ;)
The graphic is pure win and the music is fitting. But damn, hunting down the last of them furballs is nuff.
Well done!
Pretty nice. Visually it looks at lot like Robotron. Also nice, that you need some items before you can attempt the level goal.
Really good :)
It creates a nice scary atmosphere when you went out too far and try to find the station again.
Great polish, the sounds could use some refinement. Oh, and damn slow mouse.
Haha, quite a funny game :)
Too bad it's not generated and always the same.
Very nice!
Simple game, gets very frantic later on.
I had real trouble in level 3 and fell back to level 1. I then resorted to madly clicking all over which seemed to work as I beat the game with 232 points.
It seems as I should've lost again in level 3, since I'm sure there were more then 5 apples falling.
The generated map is great, full of caverns.
The digging around was quite fun, until I tried to get the last few things without knowing what the hell they looked like ;)
And then I starved...
Awesome style.
I understand the plot as being Gordon yourself. Probably completely wrong.
Not bad, not bad at all.
Just iron out the bugs and it's a win. Somehow something's missing yet, maybe either don't force the player to gather all ore and/or let him use the ore to buy new equipment or somesuch.
Having to go up again proves not easy. ;)
Urgh, frustrating stages :)
Esp. with my damn laptop, where a key seems to get stuck from time to time (at least with GameMaker games). The theme seems rather shoehorned on.
Damnit, how to figure the other secrets?
I've understood RON, but where's the key? Whose boot is it?
On other words, brilliant concept (besides the basic platforming). We're just too dumb to figure more clues ;)
I got one end when I escaped, another when there was no dragon.
The music is grand!
Hmm. It's not easy to like that game. The concept of discovering life is neat. The enemies appearing are nasty. Due to your shot form they make it alive through your bombardement too easily. And I would've loved to see a long term goal somewhere.
There need to be a few more elements to make it more interesting.
A small idea, but properly polished and with fitting atmospheric music to boot.
Well done, albeit a bit drab on the long run.
Pretty unique concept.
There's a few tradeoffs in the UI, it took me a bit to figure it out. The UI control is somewhat unwieldy, there sure must be a more comfortable method (something weird, like mouse control). And boy, did my group of five get blown away.
That would add quite a lot to the game: The final confrontation would be shown animated.
Looks very interesting. I like the story bits, they're well done. However that last jump up there is nasty.
It's a shame there is not more game in there.
And Flash fails as usual at transparencies at 16bit desktop depth; not your fault though.
You chose the Hidef profile, what for? It doesn't work on my Intel laptop, but I had no problems with other XNA entries.
Fun for a short time. The star field looks weird with the still standing stars (looks like dust). Make them a tad darker maybe ;)
The wrap around is annoying to program, but it's weird when you wrap during a fight and the other objects are suddenly gone (and vice versa).
Don't discredit deformed janitors! ;)
Quite fun game, albeit some hostage positions are tough. The random generation works quite well. Once a level is done you should stop movement. I had it twice that I died with the last hostage saved (but it counted as solved, thank god).
Awwww dang. After reading the intro text I was ready for an immersing game. Looks like a very promising start though!
The overall idea is good.
I managed to reassemble a few aliens but at the first stage with four moves the bar on the bottom doesn't show anything. I could not assemble that stage.
Really ambitious :)
However as others said, the controls feel not fitting the character, way too floaty. With some more work this could be quite a neat game.
Holy moly, that map is huuuuge. I managed to get two fly upgrades, a red and green disk and went through the red laser doors. After the LD19 room I managed to walk through a glass half circle and was outside (I guess). Then I jumped down that side and was stuck in a big meadow like cave.
Impressive map, and also feels very discovery! However I have no idea what the actual goal is nor if there is one :)
Plays quite nice. For now it's way too easy, you really have to try hard to get killed.
The big arrow circle feels awkward. A small star map would be more logical.
Nice idea.
However either I'm tone deaf or I'm wrong on interpreting the sonar. I tried to get the tone as loud as possible, but I never saw or collected an orb.
Awesome, a well different idea than I expected.
Gets quite difficult really fast. I never used the shield though.
One or two more things and maybe a short area of relaxing time would be neat.
Ok, it's not my cup of tea.
As I feared hunting down the last few thoughts is overly tedious. Also, the thought texts were not particularely surprising nor exciting (half of the find who/what you are games come up with a crash/accident). The mouse control feels the wrong way around. And it's slooow.
Make it faster, give the player hints on where the nearest thoughts are and it gets a lot better.
Very nicely done. Looks good, the levels are of manageable size. The only issue I had are the somewhat floaty controls.
Very nice!
I like the concept. One of the later levels, the maze with single block tiles is nasty ;)
Cute idea, also the different beeps for different objects.
Overall it feels a bit sluggish, is that GDI based?
A really good idea, I especially dig the starting sequence. However during the game the ship control is way to sensitive.
It's near impossible to survive through several screens if you keep going slow. My best strategy so far is to get going at full acceleration and hopefully evade stars long enough ;)
Nice little game. Nothing ground breaking, but ok. I had a few bugs (jumped off the world on the top right DS logo) or a mismatch between screens.
It would be nice if the altars would be visibly different from the common ground tiles.
Quite nifty!
However, as others said, once you found them all you're basically circling about to get the bar filled.
Please don't put a link with Windows if there is no binary involved. Provide a runnable binary.
Thanks!
Haha, awesome :)
Actually quite good music! I like the dance moves as powerups and the dance off is also neat.
The controls are bit floaty, but seriously, it's been 48 hours only.
Well done!
Can't fairly vote since it runs really sluggish on my PC. Also, how are you supposed to survive the ladder part right after the first ramp?
It looks promising though.
Nice, but really hard. And not too rewarding at the end, it's just a glitch screen like the one on the right side.
Quite hard, and some check points could be closer.
The music is ok, but gets annoying really fast.
Action Sensitive :)
However I found that the collapsing tiles are too friendly. I can still roll the ball all over them without falling. If you made them collapse faster the real discovery would set in.
Nice game, but the control via mouse is purgatory allright ;)
It does set if off from other similar games though.
Very polished game!
Seems feature complete. It takes quite a bit of time to get built up but I got squished by taking on two AIs at the same time.
PS: The green on your download page is making my eyes bleed ;)
Haha, I love this!
Too bad a few things are not implemented, but feck it, quite good for 48 hours. I'd love to see this enhanced.
Ok, I seem to have finished it (the green screen with castle background).
The music is plain horrible, really ;)
It's pretty hard and frustrating, I kept at it though since you had insta-respawn. The stuck-in-wall bug is a tad annoying but nothing that R can't fix.
Pretty ok game, could use a little fine tuning though.
The concept is nice. Filter out the wrong "me's" by their reaction (and kill them off).
It is rather short though, but I couldn't really see how to make it last much longer unless you started with 100 of those guys.
Very well done!
An awesome little game with a perfect fitting story. Some parts with the turrets were tough but you had a good savespot system going.
It looks nice and the first impression is neat.
However it then falls apart due to two problems: First the energy limit seems to be rather arbitrary. Second the challenge is missing.
I found the energy stash room but I have no idea where to look for the altar. Probably behind lots of red doors ;)
With a bit more balancing this could be neat.
Yay, memory (TM).
The idea is nice but there's a few things that annoy. For one, you have to wait for the cards to turn back again or you end up with a flipped image which confuses. The other, if you make a match the cards are stacked together which messes up my memory of a cards location.
Oh, and plus points for making a HTML5 game that actually works in my browser ;)
Looks very interesting. Brings my laptop to its knees with quality over 5 ;)
Very interesting concept!
I tried to be peaceful, but somehow my population always got wiped out by war. A ingame hint about why you lost would be helpful.
Really good!
Now all the worlds secret documents are mine!
The music is awesome and also the little touches with the graphic add to it. Very well done!
Took two tries on how to read the grav-o-meter. Damnit, that's where I messed up on my entry as well :)
In other words, the grav-o-meter needs explanation. Once I got it the game was quite nice. Pretty nasty, when you're too close to a planet though.
This is so made of win! 6638 points.
It really gets damn fast later on. The music is great.
I really wish people would f*cking stop use Z. It's annoying to switch keyboard layout to english all the time.
That's about the only niggle I have.
Great game. Not really innovative but a good play. Pretty tough up there, esp. with the wall jump through the spikes.
The 'K' to start is nasty, I wouldn't have figured it out without reading comments.
Nice little game.
The music is a tad too loud but a good touch. The collision seems a bit off, esp. when pushing crates. Also in level 3 there is a small chamber where you can't get into.
Other than that a neat little game.
The web link didn't work at all, it tried to start some Java crap but didn't do anything (I hope).
Looks and plays very polished.
Under all the garnish it is a pretty simple shooter. Not much to complain actually. Maybe an indicator where you're looking at.
Not bad :)
Those old systems are fun to work with. Congratulations!
Cute!
The smashing mechanic is neat and the upgrades quite sensible. I couldn't decipher the display on the bottom, it is related to health and boost I guess.
Interesting concept.
However the most annoying thing is the slow unravelling of text for the choices. Basically it's entering values, wait a few seconds for the next menu, rinse, repeat. You need to speed that up considerably.
Crashes when I select a map and press space. From what I can see it seems to be a NULL pointer access.
As you said, not much of a game there. It does look promising though. Hope you keep working on it.
Looks very interesting but there is just no game there yet.
Really good, esp. given the time frame! I'm actually not much of a fan of these kind of games but you made it not too hard.
Also, I didn't get what the difference between Z and X was when restarting. I could not save that dying scientist.
Not bad. I really like the generated caves. It makes them fun to dig around and find new rooms.
However I was not able to find the stairs down from the 2nd level. The level is huuge.
You win for the initial discovery.
The basic game is marred by a few bugs. You can jump in midair (when falling), you have to move with the platforms.
Also, boxes usually don't have heads ;)
It's not so much a game as rather a touch every square with the mouse. Not really entertaining as such, you just want to see the full picture once.
Quite nice, but there's something about v1.1 that doesn't work out. You never can enter the small space on the first floor. Neither from left or right, you always fall by. This might be timing related.
Other than that a nice little game.
Press T to trade when on a shopkeeper. Also, L is the key to move right, not K.
You have an interesting mechanic here, where you need to find ways to keep your cash and getting new letters.
It's however marred by a few control problems. You should put an info about the trade message somewhere. I read the source code to find how to trade. Also, I can't move sideways and jump. That would need a whole new control system.
Grand!
Love the discovering of the correct ingredients :)
Only tiny problem I have is that the physics sometimes makes things fly not how I want them.
For one it is very different.
There seem to be a few rules but I haven't been able to discover an ending. A few hints on how to achieve further modifications would be helpful.
While the basic idea is simple and easy to grasp, something about the implementation bugs me.
The reaction on falling down and finishing a stage is too slow. I can keep rolling on the bottom for a few seconds before being reset. Also, the second stage is quite jerky, due to this I never manage the first jump.
Damn, it looks and sounds like a neat game. It's a shame there's lots of bugs about.
Hope you're going to keep working on it!
Nice!
I like the idea and the existing implementation is promising. It would've been nice to have some win/lose condition. I hope you implement the planned features.
Nice, but hard.
It would help tremendously if you wouldn't get stuck at walls but slide along. Right now if you encounter a bug you too often get killed while getting stuck at an edge.
I like the concept. Really solid for 6 hours.
I wish you could see a bigger map when you retire. Also more life addons ;)
Damnit, I only manage to be Niels Bohr. It's a nice little game and I expected suddenly a monster face with corresponding sound to be played :)
The time limit is way too unforgiving, however the path check is very forgiving. So there's more of deciding to be exact or fast instead of being exact.
Not bad for 12 hours.
However it's a bit drab, esp. when you have the clues but still need to do tile per tile search.
With a bit more help this could be a neat little game.
The idea is a good one. But a lot of the finishing touches are missing. Right now it's not much more than a walk-right-simulator.
The things you had planned sound definetively interesting!
Phew, it's tought. The first stage with three keys did me in. The curve on the right is killing me.
The idea itself is great though! More stages, easier difficulty and you have a winner.
Hurray, I found the source!
Quite scary atmosphere, with matching music this is quite good (probably faster breathing would work as well).
In the lower levels I noticed that sometimes the doors would not be correct (I could walk through a wall).
Nice game :)
It is somehow satisfying to gather all the needed resources to get the upgrades but then it falters. There is no long term goal and you're basically left with flying about and suck up whatever you can (shouldn't you get to be a black hole sometime? :) )
Very ambitious!
But right now it doesn't really deliver. I spliced around with monsters and humans, and suddenly the game slowed to a crawl (about 0.1 FPS).
There is no real goal as of now?
This locks up my browser completely.
HTML 5, unravelling shit performance that we thought finally forgotten and buried
Really nice game.
Feels well designed and polished. Only problem for me is the bouncy controls. It's really hard to move exact in tight spaces. Esp. the last green atom row screen is damn nasty. Nevertheless, good game!
Also for others, the dark brown tiles can be shot!
Worked fine but somehow I got the clues to mess up. The thorny bush was hard to find, so I clicked my way across the island. Suddenly I could open the chest which didn't work before.
Nice mini games :)
Sorry, only got Windows here.
Nice game, well made, very intuitive.
It's in dire need of sounds, also, it doesn't work in IE8:

Awesome polished entry!
Very well done. The views in the different modes are pretty nice. Only in the diving sequence it's a bit hard to orient myself.
Very neat. Only needs more variety ;)
Wow, a really really good game. Only marred by the mistake of the test version. Other than that, very well executed, polished entry.
Hats off!
Great game!
The tuning turned out a tad too easy, I had no trouble beating everything to a pulp. Until the boss. Looks like with the boss you need to use a spell, hits seemed to randomly heal him.
Other than that, a really good game, esp. for 48 hours. I love the little pixelled details.
It's an interesting start and it looks like you planned for quite a bit more.
The more it's sad to see it uncompleted like this. It crashed on exiting (pure virtual call or somesuch).
I used FF and it was kinda slow. Also, I wasn't sure when a mouse click registered. Some kind of feedback or mouseover effect would be neat.
OT: Shows once again that HTML5 is not useful for anything yet unless you want to use Chrome or nothing at all.
Nice idea, but actually not that much you can do.
email was probably not the best idea. Also, I only once got a planet as explorer, but in a new system I could name I could not explore them?
Now that's a game. Totally unexpected, simple and fun.
And you managed to surprise me. I thought after the bomb now I've seen it. And then you brought in the worms, mega-hammer, bombs and copter-targets.
Really well done, awesome game!
Dammit, can't find the last 5. At least I figured out how to get the key :)
Brilliant game, full of funnies and well played discoveries.
The idea is good, the game.. less.. Probably I'm missing something.
Where the heck is the indication where you should start and where end? Or is discovering that the part of the game? This should be stated somewhere.
Other then that quite good, but needs moar stages!
Can't fairly vote, does not work in IE8 at all and locks up Firefox for good.
Does this really only work well in Chrome? Sorry, I'm not going to install that one.
I've tested with FF and it mainly works. The left/right keys are the wrong way around during the land part at the beginning. And it gets stuck once I go near the rabbit.
Doesn't work in IE8 at all.
Really good :)
I got the "You belong here" ending. But as the map is quite big and a few jumps are really tedious I'm not going to try for the other ones.
Very polished entry, and no problems beside a few balance parts. The antigrav thingie sometimes just didn't work and I had to try several times. Could also be the laptop with both space and cursor keys. Maybe use another jump key.
Very nice idea and solid presentation.
This must be a comfortable desert with all that water around ;) I liked the little things there were around like the oasis. I found the village with three parts.
Since walking around the desert is pretty challenge-less I didn't set out and retry to get all parts.
Solid little game, albeit nothing ground breaking.
With a bit more variety this could be quite neat.
Nice idea, well executed with a nice dose of humour.
I found it not particularely challenging, and I hoped for a nice end sequence. Still, quite amusing.
There's a tiny bug when you earn bonus work and the percentage counter goes above 100%, but other than that a solid game.
You shouldn't distribute the debug .exe, only people with the proper Visual Studio installed can start it (or recompile).
My virus scanner blocks the download (PAK_Generic.001). Probably false positive.
Nice idea!
It lacks a bit in implementation though. For one, the population grows too fast. Even if you know what you're doing you just cannot keep up. A score counter would be very nice.
And restart after you died.
Not your fault, but how the hell is java able to run on all platforms but cannot cope with spaces in file names/folders? Of course the game won't run if it's dropped on the desktop (Documents and Settings).
Had kinda the same problem as ranklar, on a new game I discovered another plane but then no other discovery happened whereever I stood or walked to. Sometimes I'd just die after a few seconds on a new platform. I thought the 60s killoff counts per platform.
The concept is an interesting one however. Iron out the bugs and it'll be a nifty game as it's meant to be.
Yay, Chtulhu FTW :)
Other than that, the blending conversations when you keep moving are majorly confusing.
HTML5 is the java of the '10s. :P
Nice game!
Must be my must-have-all-syndrome that let me map all 100%.
Thank god you were generous and it doesn't have to be every single tile ;)
Quite nice, not too hard. I hoped for a few equipment enhancements for my ship.
I knew Bloom is just a sign of drunken stupor! ;)
Some of the texts during the corridor are too long to be displayed fully in 640x400 and the other resolution is way too high. Also, the mouse turn speed feels really sluggish.
Basically a jump'n'run with collectable abilities. The design was pretty tough, and I actually gave up as I couldn't get the rocket jump working.
The controls are a tad sensitve.
Nice implementation!
It's really damn confusing in the beginning. Later on it is however actually too easy. I never managed to use up all moves (is there a limit as it says?)
I can't vote since there is a bug: I have a white background and can't basically read any of the text unless it happens to be over a planet.
The ship is awfully slow.
It worked on my new PC. A very nice game but the controls are killing most of the fun. For one the space ship starts out ridiculously slow. And having to press SPACE all the time is rather annoying.
A map or radar would be neat, I ventured too far and got out of fuel :(
Hmm.. A good mechanic, nice and simple game.
However it's too dependent on luck. Sometimes you just can't get to gold because the monsters keep moving back and forth between two tiles. Other than that it's quite fun.
Looks very nice and plays quite ok.
Most prominent problems are the awkward controls. Before I ever discovered new colonies I'd always be killed by pirates or run out of supplies.
Unfortunately I have a laptop and had to use the remap thingie. With that B for buy is not available anymore ;)
Also, pet peeve of mine: Cut out that topmost style.
Hmm.. The rules I could deduce are match-3 by color or shape. Also I have no idea what the charge-meter is for. I filled it but nothing happened.
Great, very well done. Nice story.
I love the vision powerup at the start. Can't say much else.
Quite nice game there!
However in the second part entering portals to the randomly generated areas got tedious really fast.
Also, the bullets are jumping quite a bit. The game got laggier and the bullets would jump through walls or not hit a turret.
Still, a promising start and could get quite nifty.
Neat idea!
Too bad it has only two levels. And the levels are rather small. It would be interesting to see bigger stages.
Also, the music seemed to have some issues (it sounded like crackling in between).
The idea is great.
The controls kill half the fun. I'd rather concentrate on the puzzles but end up exploding too often. If you make the collision response a bit more player friendly this game would shine.
This came as a very surprising fun game!
I like the concept, and also that you generated things randomly. As it seems I got pretty lucky during my first game 'cause I blazed through the bots with ease. Not so on my latter attempts.
Very nice! This basically needs a few different weapons and a long term goal. Hope you keep working on it!
Looks nice, also worked fine with about 30 FPS.
The control system feels nice, why the fuff with the Wikipedia articles. For me it could've also been simply flies. Plays nice, but there is absolutely no challenge.
The music is very fitting.
The intro is really funny. Too bad the actual game is basically not there. The collision for the shooting part is pretty off.
This uses the Hidef profile, so won't run on my laptop. I had no problems with other XNA entries.
Not bad.
The light/darkness effect is rather annoying. Other than that quite nice.
Please provide a proper Windows binary so I can properly be amazed :)
Nice! It starts out very promising and works well. Too bad you didn't get around to add more stuff/story in.
The control of the telescope via buttons is rather awkward (and slow), I'd preferred to use the keyboard.
Really good game. I like explory games like this. The "jump" feels floaty until you realise it's more of a float power and needs to be treated as such.
Took me a while to talk to the guys on the dark side as well (instead I tried to get to the top right corner of the bottom right screen).
Sorry, have Windows here.
Nice game. The balancing is a bit off. Right now the missile are a hefty threat, the sonar's reach is quite big and it's way safer to simply travel all over pressing space all the time.
Would be nice if the missile would leave some time for actually tracking with the sonar ping.
Still, a pretty, solid entry.
Nice idea, gets pretty frantic later on.
It doesn't feel too discovery-y to me but it's neat anyway. I wish I could shoot diagonally mostly.
Very nice game :)
The game is very neat. I'd love to have the heroes move a tad faster, right now waiting is too much a part.
Other than that, very solid. Just needs sound.
A retro styled game! Yay!
I thought. Don't take it too harsh, but the music is an abomination unto Nuggan. The game idea is nifty, but the controls kill the gameplay. You seriously shouldn't require the player to repress the arrow keys again and again.
After two screens my hand hurt.
It's a nice game actually marred by these two problems mainly.
To be honest, it's such a simple idea. And yet it is fun to find out what you came up with.
I got stuck at Army of the Dead as well. There is a certain logic to most items, but I didn't want to get down to trying all combinations.
The idea was nice but the gameplay is entirely dependent on luck. I clicked myself to screen 6 where I finally died.
I suppose you shouldn't be able to continue on from any white square. More sound and a bit more control of which tiles you might encounter might do wonders.
Same as dmennenoh, there's only an image at the link target.
On second try it worked. The image is the game ;)
It's a nice idea but rather bland. The ball does not go far enough. Also I had some collision problems, the ball could get stuck inside a wall object (ie. is displayed red).
At least I discovered beer!
Hmm, not my cup of tea.
It looked interesting, but I didn't see any other planets at first. Then I followed one of the red lines and suddenly a planet appeared. With a cannon beside that killed everything I sent there. How can I control what kind of ship I'm building?
The right click pan is rather confusing.
Nice little game.
However the lighting part feels tacked on mostly. Needs sound and an end.
The idea is great, but I couldn't make head or tails of it. The enemy is grandly annoying since it pushes you around. I probably have solved one puzzle because a second enemy appeared. I did however not notice when this happened.
Maybe have no enemy in the first room and make a sound when you solved a puzzle.
Cool idea, never seen that before.
I've no chance against the first opponent. Maybe with less words, say one or two, I might stand a chance :)
The main screen's buttons were black for me.
It's a joke entry :)
The humour is not that compelling and the game is down to pure luck.
What good is a hacking game when you can't even do anything beside closing it?
I tried all keys to see if there's some kind of console somewhere (as your screenshot suggests). It better be a key that's to be found internationally, but it doesn't seem so.
It congratulated me on fetching all chests. Hurray. I think.
Looks somewhat nice, but probably counts as art game, because I don't get it :)
Nice idea, not particularely challenging though.
From the screenshot it looks like more monster types would be possible but the biggest I managed to get were black ones.
Found 8 deaths but then had to resort to the walkthrough. How on earth are you supposed to get Escape and the Konami Death?
Nice little game there.
Constructive critique:
1) Deployment. Do not hardcode your local paths (your batch files). Ever.
2) Your sprites are not showing transparent. Java should be able to apply color keys to images.
Looks very neat, nice idea and presentation.
However it gets slow when you're almost done with a color. I got stuck two times on the top wall during a screen change which is really annoying. I gave up the second time.
Yay, I won!
Not bad. At first I always tried to return but for the later areas you have to go as far as possible and get towed back.
Quite nice!
Whatever you did, something went wrong. The game does not work in IE8. It works in FF though.
It's a good start and somewhat playable. Hope you keep working on it.
Please provide proper OS binaries. Thanks :)
Thanks for providing a binary :)
Nice idea. The sonar effect is pretty well done. Some of the spikes are hard to evade but thank god you put some powerups. The flapping could be balanced a bit better. Right now you either fall down or shoot up in the air. Maybe my hands are not what they used to be ;)
Well done!
Very easy game. Too easy actually. Since you can exchange tiles as often as you want I simply chose a spot and build my target tile there. Rinse and repeat.
Also, you should make the different tile with different shapes maybe. It's hard on my eyes like this.
Other than that, solid game.
Yay, 760 points. 3 men survived, but got beaten by Amundsen. Really gripping game, esp. when someone dies.
The controls are somewhat weird but usable.
Very ambitious. However quite lengthy, and of course I don't know any details about American history :)
Very nice! A little slowish and also doesn't offer anything new in latter stages (besides being bigger).
I only vote on the sound effect for Audio, since you are only allowed to use your own assets selfmade during the 48 hours.
Nice little game. Not particularely challenging but cute.
There's a few smaller issues like the grid on the tiles and the floaty jump (was a double jump wanted?)
Actually it's quite neat even if it doesn't look like it.
It's main flaw is that the gameplay is rather slow.
Don't go HTML 5, your version works in every browser ;)
Quite similar to my game, albeit 3d.
It's a shame that there seems to be more variety missing. Glad you keep working on it, this could be nice!
Please, capture the mouse. After rotating several times I could not fire since the mouse pointer was outside the unity window.
Nifty game. The jump pads are nasty, it's pretty hard to adjust the jump length when running at different speeds ;)
It's not a good idea to put intro/outro into popups. I reckon due to time limitations you didn't include them in the game.
Hey, not bad!
Just as others said, quite hard. I managed to get the radar to the second part but got killed. The ship is a bit hard to control and I kept crashing into things. It's also nasty, that I can destroy the repair thingies.
Other than that, well made.
Pretty hard :)
It's a tad too often dependent on luck. You probably need a bit more dynamite in the maze. Still, a very solid, polished entry.
Nice game :)
I like the expanding/contracting light circle. But some spikes are nastily placed for the speedy movement.
Great music!
Quite fun, albeit short and the restart is annoying. Pretty neat.
Looks pretty promising. Also extra plus are the messages from the AI actions. They seem to be busy but I couldn't find them. Do I notice when I beat an AI?
Also, the enemy ships didn't seem to shoot at me at all?
Pretty simple game, it shows you didn't invest the full 48 hours. It is however for its target quite well polished and solid, albeit the music is a tad repetetive.
Imagine what game you could've made if you planned bigger ;)
Not bad at all. In the later stages the enemies that are not repelled are too fast and catch me too easily.
Other than that it's a neat idea. I also like the hidden messages ;)
Aww man, I hoped for a neat game from the looks.
It looks like a good start but there just isn't anything to do than to wander around. I hope you add on a bit of game to it?
The game wouldn't want to close properly (neither Alt-F4 nor X), I had to shoot it down.
Quite nice little game.
The fun comes mostly from the sounds. The gameplay itself is rather shallow.
A bit dry and slow, but a nice game.
At the first fish onslaught I thought the whole ocean would be like this. Thank god it wasn't :)
Found the doctor and depth charges, thanks to your spoiler also the space ship. When you respawn, do you have to find things again? 'cause the message triggers didn't work the second time after I got killed.
Kinda simple but also kinda fun!
Very polished, but too much luck for my taste. You basically have no idea where you're going to and fire blindly somewhere. Would be neat to have at least a tiny amount of control once you're in flight. Also, speed up the score list, I want to retry faster :)
Neat little game, simple and fun.
It just misses the 100-cups-of-coffee-effect as in Futurama.
Neat "story" :)
I made it alive! It's a nice collection of mini games, but is kinda fun to see the next stage. The second angle/force is hard due to the middle platform.
A remember a similar game, and already then I stood no chance. Whatever I try, I get crushed :(
Neat idea and design.
Really nice game!
What's missing is some win condition. And what's rather annoying is that you can't immediately pick up the items from crates. Other then that very solid.
Missing Libpng12.dll as well.
I can't vote fairly because the game would not run properly. When the game starts it's completely slug slow (I'm talking 0.25 FPS). Also I always start out at the bottom left edge of the map as it looks like. Something's not running correctly there.
A very neat idea and also quite fitting music.
The game is quite tough however. I was not able to even do the tutorial level correctly and also got stuck on the first real stage.
As others said, it takes a bit too long to see a reaction. I know that exactly that part took probably the most work, but it's holding the gameplay back.
Very well done!
Some parts are down to luck (the ghost is nasty when you're in a dead end with one HP left).
The most annoying thing is the jerking light circle, please please make it move smooth.
Very nice idea!
It feels very solid, albeit quite tough. A grace period would be nice, it's annoying being so close to a checkpoint and just jumping out of a light circle to be sent back.
Other than that nice idea and well designed.
Won't start, complains about missing avrt.dll. Looks like you're missing some dependencies.
Thanks for fixing the dependency!
A neat combination of Carrier Command and Choplifter ;)
The most prominent problem for me is the chopper game. There is hardly a way to avoid the turret bullets. Also Space and arrow keys are somewhat conflicting on my keyboard (can't press two arrows and space at the same time).
Quite nice effort, with a bit more balance on the controls this could be quite good!
Nifty idea, physics are solid.
I got lost in the second level as well, there's a bit too much to do after that first tutorial level. Also, I didn't see no hint of my power level and suddenly stopped.
Love the simple yet intriguing pixelry.
Utterly awesome!!
This game oozes class. And it looks great. C64 FTW!
Only nitpick, clinging to ladders is annoyingly picky. This really needs a proper SID music track.
Yay, moon destroyed! (By flinging a satellite at it?)
As you said it's more of a toy box than a game. At least I did reap 10000 points for the moon. Discovery going down in a blaze of glory!
Sorry, my virus scanner blocks the download (PAK_Generic.001). Probably false positive.
Neat idea.
The scanner would've given the corresponding implementation of discovery but didn't seem to show anything but green dots. Not even when there were obviously diamonds below.
Other than that, good fun.
A very good game! However the difficulty tuning is off a bit. The first few screens are just a breeze (simply brushing everything works fine), the latter pretty hard. Esp. since you have to restart from the first screen again.
Very funny intro/dialogue!
Pretty neat game, albeit damn unforgiving.
Resetting to the start is pretty frustrating, esp. with the rather floaty control. Still managed to beat it.
One or two checkpoints would help along nicely.
Neat concept, especially the dance off.
Not really that much of a game though ;)
This could really use a bit more of decoration on the skeleton. Eyes, beards and pirate fledges.
Nice combination of centipede and a typing game. Gets really frantic later on.
The web version bails out but the Windows executable worked.
It's a promising start. As of now the mechanic is interesting but there's no real goal to work towards. What struck me weird was that at finding a new mill island the routes were still targetting my initial mill island.
Obviously my main browser is too old (snicker) and it doesn't work in FF for me. Ain't HTML5 grand?
A nice idea. It's a shame it's not really a game now.
With a few more actions and a resulting liftoff this could be neat.
Hmm, a concept that fits more Sacrifice then discovery. Also, doing mass sacrifices at the beginning give you all the time you need. The rest is a simple maze game. The maze is quite big, it would be nice to have at least an idea in which direction you need to go.
"Interactive Art" most probably. Not a game though.
Not my cup of tea.
Very nice! Simple and easy to grasp. Still has some nice vibe to it, making it interesting. A bit more polish and variety and you have a neat game there.
Cute. I like how the robot gets more red over time :)
Good question, what is the story? It seems there's a human inside the robot, but why?
Really nice.
However there is no real challenge. The only harder part was when I spawned between two snakes. This is a very solid start but needs more random events and different enemies.
Hmm, the antivirus still triggers on the file and doesn't let me access it.
It complains about "PAK_Generic.001"
Nice little game. Nothing ground breaking but I liked the little discoveries and nice puzzles.
Would've loved to see more ;)
Great game!
So there is cake after all :)
Very nice mechanic, nifty puzzles not borderline frustrating and good length. Only niggle is that clicking outside the window is annoying.
I wanted to have the chests in from the start. However I didn't make much clear. You need to hit them with the axe five times, they contain hearts and coins.
Alas, the coins don't do anything. I wanted to have a shop of your own (as shown in the ending) but never got around to implement it.
Note: Having a family and two childs does not leave that much time to code ;)
Nice idea having to gather the ammunition ;)
This potential but needs to be worked on. Would love to see it fleshed out!
Really nice :)
As usual I'd like to add ;) Very nice increasingly useful items and you get to see more and more. However I got too greedy and drowned 17 minutes in :(
Well done!
Can't fairly vote without a second player. And who in their right mind uses Facebook?
The game lives with the dash mechanic. It reminds me of an indie game (Pojo, Pogo?) which is a good thing.
Build on it and enhance!
Hint for others: The Win32 file is a zip archive. Rename to .zip and you can extract it.
Cute game :)
Quite a lot of clicking through text but at least you didn't have to completely restart.
It's a really promising entry, but there's a few problems. For one, the soldiers blocking the player. There's places where you're stuck behind them. Once I was killed in an corridor, stuck between soldiers and an imp.
Some spells would be rad (heal soldiers, a little fireball).
I loved the soldier lines ;)
Neat, really lovely idea! The menu screen had me baffled until I figured out how to enter the game.
The sounds effect are too loud compared to the music.
Other than that, very solid and polished entry.
There's no real reason to beat everybody up, is there?
The sound effect make the game in this case, the fighting is also quite well made. A shame that the enemies don't fight back. As it is it's missing the challenge
Haha, really nice :)
Love the sound bits!
Really good fun!
Somewhat weird jump but otherwise plays very good. I love that you can shoot the coins down and they don't get lost.
You can get stuck though if you die with lots of money and can't afford the next essential weapon.
Rock solid entry!
Please provide a Windows executable.
Really good :)
Getting overwhelmed is too easy (probably me getting greedy). A bit more variation would be nice. Right now you're basically running backwards, firing and trying to collect minerals.
Grand :)
You made the game with an idea I was pondering. And you made it quite good. I had no problem until item #6 appeared. Then it's just too much. I made 112 points!
Interesting approach to the abilities. However there's not much evading, usually the first or second obstacle is one of the kind you cannot overcome yet. For every game now you have to redo the same ability buildup which feels somewhat tedious.
Still, neat concept.
I really wish XNA would be able to show that you need to download the runtime instead of dumb crashing.
Awesome!
I love the intro. The game itself looks also very polished. The only problem for me is the cannon control with the keys. And of course the boss killed me :(
Really good idea, and excellent implementation! The stranger is getting damn creepy esp. when he tries to keep you from the potions and starts hitting you.
A checkpoint at the river would've been nice, I didn't really feel like starting over again after getting killed.
Very good game :)
The music is very fitting. It's a shame the last little polish is missing (dying, etc.)
Not bad. I love the little bot with the umbrella. With a few more gimmicks this could make a nice puzzle platformer.
Great atmosphere, but it feels unfinished. In the beginning I tried to kill all monsters but notices it's futile. There's no way to regain health.
And the exit sign says "Next" ;)
Nifty idea, makes for quite a few nice puzzles. This is a concept you could really expand on well!
Ok, I've killed the black dragon with the slingshot. But what now?
Can't fairly vote, pressing play doesn't seem to do anything (there is an alert in the code, but that didn't seem to fire). Used IE9 on Windows 7.
Quite tough. I'd wish you'd start out with a faster harpoon. How do you jump higher?
Other than that and the almost unskippable cutscene quite neat!
Impressive graphics as usual. The game is neat and rock hard :)
The somewhat floaty jump controls make me hit the spikes too easily (level 4, argghhh!)
Really nice!
I like the random weapons which act and feel different. The fang opponents are pretty tough (Area 7, I'm looking at you). Good music as well, real fun!
Quite nice :)
Solid little game, however some of the spike jumps are really borderline hard.
Looks very good and polished. It's almost a shame that there's not too much of a game in there. At least you tried to hide some of the monsters at the end ;)
Grand game :)
Dark humour and well executed. Only thing is that sometimes my pressed keys seemed to be stuck (player kept running in a direction)
Not voting for Overall since it's obviously a joke entry.
Man, you had a real nice engine on the start there!
Getting a 404 on your link
Please provide a Windows executable.
Very nice, solid game!
Made it in 4 minutes something. Plays quite good, only thing really annoying is the pause when you hit something. I want to go on immediately.
The idea is a really good one. It looks good and sounds good. However the gameplay is boring. You can keep mashing Z/X (why Z? think of other keyboard layouts!) and amassing points (and clogging up the table with atoms).
A good challenge would be to put built molecules into a target somewhere.
A clean simple concept. However some feedback on how long the invincibility held on would be nice. Also there seems to be no indicator when and why the gameplay steps to the Pong type and back.
What exactly do you have to do to pick up the powerups? Sometimes they vanished, sometimes they didn't.
Not bad :)
I found that the first key was gone on the second play. On a restart it worked fine and I got to where the three guards are together. I started to strangle one but then one of the other got me.
Quite weird, and the art style is strangely fitting.
Works nice, but has a few issues. If you die somewhere on the right you'll have to wait way too long before the view arrives at the left again. The background tiles sometimes would not match up and show seams. The scroll seems to slow, it's not nice if you fall out the view and die.
Still, a very solid start. Needs more levels ;)
Doesn't work in FF for me, doesn't display anything. On IE the java plugin is fucked up and doesn't even load properly (the latter is not your fault).
Looks very nice, but it's obviously rather unfinished. Most important would be a restart key or automatic restart when you fall down.
The jump height seemed to differ between the first and the other levels.
Looks heavily inspired by Desktop Dungeons. The control is severely holding the gameplay back.
Looks like to attack you have to make the hero walk through the monster (ie place the target behind the monster).
Not bad at all :)
However it felt a little slow and having to wait for replaying is way too long.
Is there an end somewhere?
Nice :)
Sometimes it feels like luck but it's got the "It's my fault, just one more time" feeling.
Well done!
No mac, sorry.
I love the end part :)
Weird, the game does not work at all in IE9.
Very neat game. The graphics are awesome, the idea also nice.
The shop entrance takes you to the Inn, but since you don't need to reenter for solving the game all's fine.
You can't return from the gold chest to the left side alive?
Really good one. Very good atmosphere. Would love to see this more fleshed out, the cubes-on-button thing wears out pretty fast.
Really really good! Very polished and overall solid entry.
The only problem I had was that the shot sometimes did not destroy the target block (delta timestep issue?)
Also, the one-way blocks are difficult to grasp. If you intend to enhance this game you ought to explain the different tiles in detail.
Really really great artwork! I love the atmosphere, esp. the dark side.
The only annoying thing is the camera as you said already. And music/sound would've topped it off.
Rock solid entry!
Nice little game. Missed the theme, but who cares, it's a good play ;)
Having to drag the moving ball is tough.
Neat little game. Fight is very much random. Also, the stuck mouse pointer while a sound is playing is annoying.
In the end that's the small things that unfortunately keep stuck. The rest is quite nice!
Yay, 87 points :)
It takes quite a while to get challenging. And then there are some unfair formations with notes left and right with the same height.
Getting difficul faster and some code to avoid unfair positioning would work wonders ;)
Well, the game looks ambitious. However the controls seem to completely break any fun. The player sometimes jumps low, sometimes very high. It makes the player nearly uncontrollable in a sane way.
Are there any dependencies? It bails at startup with a "System.IO.FileNotFoundException", but unfortunately doesn't say which file.
Neat :)
I love the cat line behind me, which also works very nice as auto-attack. However the boss did me in when I tried to cat-tail him.
Works fine here on Windows 7, 64bit. The game looks nice but isn't too much of an challenge. Funny dialogue.
Not my type of game.
Means I don't get anywhere ;)
Solid little game. Nice idea with the infinite ammo bag. Can't have enough of those! I never got anything but the axe as powerup?
On the first and subsequent runs of install.bat I got:
ERROR: Could not find a valid gem 'gosu' (>= 0) in any repository
Sorry!
Very nice. Solid game and nice presentation. I too would've loved to see a bit more ending, but nevertheless good game!
Not bad :)
It could need some variety. You're going back, getting more balls and throw them at something. The player control is too floaty for my taste.
Other than that, solid entry!
Dangerously addictive, has quite a similarity with Desktop Dungeons, but is different enough.
I loved the jumping "animation", but the longer you're inside the more tedious it gets. At a certain percentage the speed should be faster. And sound!
Other than that, really good entry!
Hilarious intro, but the game itself feels a bit bland. The cards are horrifying and there's not much you can do if you see one going towards you.
I once got stuck in a building and one of the rings was on top of one.
A map powerup would be great!
Very nice! Also quite difficult in places. Once I died I pressed Escape which transported me to the next dungeon ;)
The only minor problem is the brightness, it's way too dark to differentiate walls from floor.
Hmm, what good is the installer if it doesn't install the dependencies? It crashes on startup for me.
Who in their right mind would use Facebook? :)
Grand!
Simple, yet great gameplay! That is what best games are made of.
Well done!
Somebody's a Fallout fan (or Wasteland). Well done, I like the sound bits. The only minor annoyance is the walk speed and basically no danger.
Nice idea, it's a shame there's only two levels and not too much variety on traps.
Good one :)
Quite charming aside from the walk step sound. Is there an end to the game? Would've loved to see some more progress like wave number or parking lot floor number.
Very nice :)
I like the graphic style, very neat. The game itself however is a rather off-the-mill maze game.
Awesomeness!
Madness everywhere ;) Really crazy and thank <insert deity> also plays very nice!
I love the art!
Quite nice engine :)
I like that the enemies can hurt themselves too.
You really shouldn't rename .jar files to .zip. Probably everybody without any java knowledge couldn't run it.
The 4th level is horrible slow. Before the battle sometimes feels very random. Sometimes I got killed, sometimes I won, even when I should have died from low HP.
I made 22 in single player. Can't vote for multiplayer though. Obviously multiplayer rocks anybodys socks off.
Single player is rather boring without any real challenge. Maybe consider adding an AI player?
Aww, dang. I hoped it would partially work. Is there any way to heal up again or get drugs? My squadron makes quite a bit damage when starting out but very soon goes down to 1 hit. No chance to win anything like that.
Looked funny :)
Neat little game with a story to top it off.
Well done :)
Nifty music, and also the first big wave of enemy ships is quite challenging. Some file can't be found when you've won (didn't note the file name though, sorry).
Not bad at all :)
I like the fire weapon which forces you to move around. The shield gimmick is too easy to just place over the center.
Looks very nice, and starts out very good too. However after the tutorial things get tedious. I think the rooms are bit too big (or the player a tad to slow?).
Other than that, I dig the level transitions and the companion idea.
Neat, classic Zelda. Can't vote for graphics in this case though. The controls could use some workover, it feels unresponsive at times.
You should have some hints on beating Ganon. I've finished the original years ago, I have no idea how to do it anymore.
Please provide a Windows executable.
Very nice and smooth on IE9. I had no sound at all. On the second level the other cars got ahead too far and suddenly the game was stuck.
Very interesting mechanic. You should actually force the player to get first place, even with the others attached to you ;)
Hmmm, difficult to vote.
On one hand it seems like a neat platformer game, but the enemy girls suddenly killed me on the first hit (they didn't during the first run). There's a place with two of them in a tight space where I never could get past.
The wall jump is damn hard to do.
With a bit more polish on controls, and maybe an indicator of your health this could get more interesting.
No groundbreaking concept, but well put together.
The mummy level is hard, I died often running into one without any chance to react (too greedy?).
Well done!
Yay, cheese!
I got lucky, I went into the house first to get the paper clip. Nice little game. I would've loved to see more filling in the dungeon rooms.
A neat tech demo, not too much of a game though. The sand could make a few nice puzzles.
Most annoying part: The object did not get focus and up/down scrolled the browser frame as well. Did not have that problem with other entries.
Very nice idea. However the physics seemed wonky a bit. In stage three I suddenly couldn't make the jump up the pillar, even with double jump. The players collision box is way too big.
Not bad, good idea, takes the "Take this" approach to a different level ;)
The rocks make it too easy for the soldiers to be blocked. Maybe if they could tear them down? Or longer stages, with more soldiers coming behind.
Have Windows 7 64bit, unfortunately with ATI as well. Damn, had always NVidia before and never any problems like these.
My condolences on the empty coffee, I know how it feels.
The concept is fun! I managed to get Steve inside alive. The trees make flying somewhat difficult, but I reckon that's part of the gameplay. Unfortunately my laptop is rather weak and the flying was not too smooth making exact steering difficult.
I'm a Winrar!
Works fine, good idea!
I'm a fan of puzzle platformers, with a few more gimmicks this could be really good.
Please provide a Windows executable.
Quite nice! I often seemed to die suddenly, even when I thought I still had enough HP left.
The controls are a bad weird (having played Nethack I expected running into monster to work as attacking).
Still, very good entry.
Can't fairly vote since it seems broken. Once I pick the first item I can't move anymore.
I get 500s on both links :(
Really good!
I liked the idea, the puzzles and the revenge part ;)
Great entry!
Not bad :)
I like all the gather stuff plus the little minigame. The last two mini games are way too long though.
Also, you said you had music and sound effects (in your journal), I didn't hear neither?
Sorry for the late feedback; I've ran it on a real Windows 7.
Haha, good one ;)
Love the polish stuff like crate and zombie messages and the sounds. Not too easy.
Solid entry!
Very solid presentation.
The only real problem I had was with the swinging mechanic. I always died on the 6 lemons under the cliff to the right.
Ah, now you're thinking with portals.
Nice concept, sadly marred a bit by a few annoying things. The portals should start out faster. The slow start speed makes you wait and usually get run over by a Boxicon (or you need to keep pressed and run).
All has been said of the music ;)
Looks very nice and starts out neat. However every 10 seconds there seems to be a huge lag.
Is it possible to fight the enemies at all?
It's a good start but there's a few things that break it:
For one, the player speed is annoyingly slow. Two, starting at the very beginning if dying is nasty.
It is a solid base for a bigger game though!
Does not work on IE9. OS links are useless, all link to the web anyway.
I like it. It's a shame it's very short though, I would've loved to see more.
A you've done it screen would be nice ;)
The random weapon is a great idea :)
However the graphics could use some workover. The player is hard to distinguish, basically everything is shades of gray.
Very nice. Quite a bit to play and a nice boss fight at the end. Didn't seem to work in IE8 for some reason.
Very nice!
I love the background story. Plays quite nice and has a neat menu system built around. Sometimes arrows seem to come from the sky with no chance for me to react. The increasingly nasty arrow attacks are well done.
Really nice. I would've loved a bigger display window though.
Looking at the source there's nothing to do after he says that the door is blocked. Beside press E ;)
Doesn't work in FF or IE9. You might want to put a check in if WebGL is available.
Have no Java at home (yay, I intend it to stay that way) and in the office OpenAL32.dll is blocked due to PAK_Generic.001 (they obviously put some stupid compression in there). Sorry.
Quite nice animations, well done. I also liked the upgrades you receive. However the enemies keep wandering off making you run in search of them too much.
Nice little game, love the humour. Is there any differing effect from the ground tiles? It'd be nice if you could have more influence on the moves given.
What the hell... :)
Ok, the goal seems to be running through hordes of roboty enemies flailing a cucumber, run into a photo cube where the game then crashes.
Not bad, I like the idea. I got horribly stuck (not literally) in the first level with all soldier ants getting killed and me badly hurt.
Works really nice in a modern browser like IE9.
Looks nice, and the driving feels nice.
It's a shame you couldn't complete it but you did submit something!
Crashed on exit for me.
Lovely sounds. The game itself is getting pretty hectic later on. I managed to get 30 points.
There is some weird auto-shooting bug, when you rotate your ship fast some shots go off.
Aww, looks lovely. Please provide a Windows executable!
Very neat concept!
Awesome idea, hope you keep fleshing it out.
Some stages are really nasty, sometimes I have the feeling that the jump key is not responding as I'd like it. Other then that, rock solid entry!
Visual awesomeness and a quite nice writeup :)
Very well done! I got a pixelated ending. I always thought someone else is pixelating over the original authors bits ;)
The cooperative part was a nice idea. The puzzles are unfortunately not too hard. Some timing would probably spice things up.
Oh, and please, do not break the game apart in different executables ;)
I'm heavily impressed. A really good idea, excellent implemented. The music is suiting, the gameplay is great and no real bugs plagueing the game.
Very well done!
Not bad at all :)
Cute concept and very polished surroundings. Well done!
It's an interesting idea but having to wait two times is annoying. I cheated with changing my system time but then the boy told me to wait more?
Really nice :)
The pits in level 2 are nasty. I like the fish powerup ;)
The concept is very interesting, the execution is quite ok, but has its problems.
In my second attempt I died which seemed without reason. I hit the villain (seen in the screen) for -8.9 but I died?
When I started the next game there were no clouds or enemies?
With a bit of bug fixing, adding sound/music and more options this could be a really nice arcade game!
Both the icons and music are not yours, so basically there's only the gameplay left to vote on.
The idea is neat, I haven't yet seen any reason to change the distance between the two. It probably is required once things get really fast (I stopped at 63).
Really neat idea :)
The only complaints are the somewhat lengthy replay of a level when Tim gets killed, but other than that it's a solid game.
Seems to only half work in IE9. Pressing "Play" doesn't do anything.
As a web developer you should know better than to use HTML5 ;)
Very neat game!
I liked the zeppelin base and the overall setting. I've played "Free Fly", killed off enemies and suddenly they were all gone. Dang :)
Desperately needs sounds, music and a boss!
Hmm, the plan sounds good however I never got anyone to follow me (not even poor Herschel), pressing X next to someone only toggled the chair icon. I ran to the train alone then ;)
Since there seems to be a bug (or I couldn't work out how to play properly) I can't fairly vote for Overall.
Very neat. I especially like the graphic style.
A dialog skip key would be great.
Neat idea, however I would've preferred to click on the turret (bigger than the button ;) ).
It does get harder in the beginning (slower reload time), but after level 10 it stays the same. I gave up on level 31. I found out about the spikes in level 31 as well ;)
A nice start for a bigger game. Right now it's somewhat bland. You'd need something that works beside killing monsters, bring quests or somesuch.
I've tested on Windows, won't run. Please include the openal32.dll file. The only other dependencies seem to be the MSVC 10 runtimes, as you said.
Thanks for including the missing Dll! Worked fine now.
Nice little game, increasingly hard. I liked the little extra room below ;)
Surprisingly good game :)
I expected a platformer of some kind on first glance. I also like the ensuing dialog throughout the game. Good one!
Really nice! Looks great and plays mostly ok.
Having to restart from the very beginning is nasty.
Ooh, I'd like to try. You couldn't make a Windows executable?
Uwe Boll should make this a movie!
Nice word play. An online highscore would make it perfect!
Dang, just when it begins to get interesting it's "Fin" already :(
I would've loved to see this fleshed out more. More items, etc.
Can't fairly vote, works neither in IE9 or FF.
Lovely concept :)
I could play one round, after Game Over the input didn't work anymore. It really gets tough fast.
It just misses sound effect, like nice death screams etc. ;)
This is rather a prototype than a game. It shows a very interesting mechanic but doesn't use it to challenge the player.
You have some neat idea at your hand, no make it a full game!
Aw, dang. I love it, it looks great and mostly plays good. But the crate/laser puzzle did me in. I just never got it right.
Well done!
Very clever twist on Sokoban. And a neat story ;)
Well done!
Only minor annoyance is the hard to read text.
Very nice game! Hard puzzles, but somehow doesn't strike me as particularely on theme.
Not bad but it just feels unfinished. It is a very solid engine but there is not much more than the basic gameplay. For 10 hours only it's quite an achievement though!
Lovely :)
Looks great and also plays good. The underwater movement needs getting used to but in the end it's good.
Really neat concept :)
It's however quite tough, even when I start out well I get overrun very fast (usually since I don't know the crafting recipies). Solid entry!
Nice game :)
Lots of levels (laser dogs!) and a bit of action. However the collision is really unforgiving. Also, you should not have white shots in front of a bright background!
Now that's an interesting idea. You should really work on that and put in more features. And sounds. And music.
I would've liked better controls (diagonal movement).
Could be a neat little game if the controls were somewhat worked on. It's hard to land on a platform again if you can't control left/right at all.
Very neat, however getting tedious fast. I found 7 kitties and then ran through empty street. Until I jumped off the map ;)
Why are the kitties rolling around?
The turning speed seems somewhat random.
Looks like a promising start but lacks a few things. For one, smarter enemies would help a big deal.
I was killing off monsters and suddenly had won, with other monsters still alive?
Also, crashed on exit.
Nice little game, nothing ground breaking but it works.
The worlds should have more details to them, they're somewhat sparse and without challenge.
It doesn't load for me, the link seems to be dead?
Nice little game. Of course I didn't follow red and ran about on pretty empty space. Later moving on to the boss and got killed fast.
Quite good, nice intro. It needs a bit more enemies and different looking places.
Nice little game, but the controls are very sensitive. It's nearly impossible to safely land between two spikes.
Gave up on stage 3 ;)
Sorry, WebGL won't happen here.
Sounds like fun though!
Cute game.
The stages need a bit more challenge, I was able to finish it all in one go.
The controls nearly kill this game. The level design does not help much either :)
After finally making the first jump I gave up on the bit with the yellow rings and the spikes. I was not able to survive the small gap in the middle.
Designed too tough, try a bit more friendliness towards the player ;)
Phew, finally made it. This is so frustating, I gave up before.
Beside the really simple gameplay (there's not too much you can do wrong) a really cool idea.
I like the cube world and the sprites in general.
Good one!
Unfortunately you chose the HiDef profile, so I can't test it.
Not bad, these games usually are up my alley.
However the slow controls take away too much. Especially when you have a deeper pit and try to go down and just can't stop fast enough.
Engine upgrade!
A arena shooter, nothing too innovative.
The walls should've been introduced earlier. Also, is there any reason to move at all? I sat quietly in the center, pressed space and kept fireing. There doesn't seem to be a greater onslaught, at least up to Level 2 Wave 1 (which already takes a while to reach).
That is actually an interesting idea. You need to modify the bacteria color to the target.
However the color changes seem to be so fine grained (full 8 bit RGB spectrum?) you end up with 150 bacteria all close to the target color, but not exactly matching.
I love the intro piccies ;)
Not bad, great animation and imagery overall.
I was hoping for more challenge and stages, it's a bit on the short side.
I get "Empty.exe is not a valid Win32 executable".
Neat :)
Allowing only the four main directions for the player is mean, since the others come in in 8 angles. I also tried to not touch the planet during the first half, which I later noticed you don't have to.
Is there any speedup later on? It feels a bit too easy in the long run.
The music and sound effects are very nice ;)
Now that's a great idea right there.
Rogue mixed with action element (timing is essential to hit enemies without getting hurt)
Speed it up a teensy bit and try to avoid impossible situations (I came upon a place where there was only water and I couldn't go on)
I demand that you build upon this idea and get rich. And then give me half of your monies ;)
Congrats!
I actually didn't expect much after the first few shots, but planets, that are farther away pose quite a challenge.
Well done!
A Windows build would be awesome, looks like fun.
Thanks for the Windows build! Works flawlessly (XP).
Very nice, it's like a game waiting in there to get out. Reminds me of lots of Flash games where you need to drive over obstacle courses wildly jumping about.
It's just missing challenges.
Hmm, this could've been a neat logic puzzle game if you added more stages and sticky cubes for example.
Same problem as the others, I've got a JRE installed, however the game won't start. For some weird reason the .jar ends up being named .zip. Renaming back to .jar didn't help however.
Quite nice, the music fits perfectly.
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any challenge, and also no end.
But it's cute watching the little guys.
The story and graphic is quite nice.
It took me a while to figure out what to do. For others: You need to make step traces around blocks to examine them. One of them has the stolen planet in it.
The controls are a bigger problem, you do get stuck on corners, sometimes foot step images do not appear. And I would've loved to see other screens.
Managed 943 points. Not bad for 8 hours :)
A bit tough when the bombs start to come in from the opposite site, since the shield movement is hard to predict if you move fast.
Not bad :)
It would help to make the beginning a bit faster to build, it takes quite a while to fly about.
Crashes on startup for me, looks like a null pointer.
Very good!
Especially the idea to quantum link elements.
Not bad :)
I once had a bug where one enemy was moving about in a red state but would not be destroyed.
Nifty!
Very nice graphic, good music. But tough controls and level design.
Now there's impaled scientists all over.
Doesn't work in IE8 (is it HTML5?)

Nice little game. A bit of sound would've been nice, no idea why you removed it?
There's no chance to change every second tile on the border, which might come in handy a few times.
Still, solid game!
The pixverse part is really starting a good vibe, but then the click-mini game is a rather letdown. The idea was probably too ambitious.
Maybe you could build upon the basic idea?
A Tapper clone!
The concept is a good one, however marred by the controls. Also, the game later loads lots of atoms on the conveyors without you having any chance to clear them.
It would be neat if the conveyors would actually speed up, the game does feel sluggish although it technically isn't.
Nice game.
A few annoyances though: When you die, all your powerups are gone and you're having a hard time. Also, the shoot sound gets annoying real fast. Other than that quite ok.
Great achievement!
However I would've chosen a language style that would be clearer or neared to what most people know. Lots of brackets around ;)
Score: 23
A nice idea, near hopelessly killed by the controls. It's really annoying getting far and then getting stuck without any chance to get out.
Not bad for 5 hours. And it's an interesting concept.
Obviously, with more time at hand, you should probably have a way to show which parts belong to which dimension (somehow).
Hats off to you sir!
This is just what this compo is about, innovative, simple games. Well done!
Nice, nothing ground breaking, but fits the theme very good.
Good one!
Why'd you put an installer, a direct archive would've been nicer (for others, simply remove the extension .deploy on every file and it works without installing).
Nice idea, however the controls are weird. And the time limit is incredibly tough!
Nifty!
However somewhat boring with only one player. It really needs an AI to fight against.
Nothing groundbreaking, but a nice little puzzle game. I have no idea how to solve that level in the screen shot.
Also, OpenAL fails to behave. It's a lib and does NOT belong into the windows/system32 folder. Just put the dll in your .zip and save others the hassle.
Could you try and make a Windows .exe?
Dropbox says 404 :(
Not bad, I especially like the day/night cycle.
However there's not that much variety in the gameplay, maybe add something that makes the player want to jetpack more often.
Is it HTML5? Please state so, I'm currently on XP with only IE8.
Neat. Weird, but neat :)
Very good music and well hidden kitty.
Short and sweet, great work!
Funny take on the theme.
However due to the high window not really playable on my laptop. In level 2 I always fall into some off screen holes.
Neat sounds effects!
A Desktop Dungeons clone :)
I'm not going to vote Graphics, since you reused existing art. Da Rules, man!
Other than that, quite nice. The combat seems a bit too random, I picked up every extra I could get to, then started to attack all level 1 monsters and got killed by the last of them.
Good one, nice and to the point.
It's just missing background bar sounds ;)
Nice little game :)
Fun to play, movement with the mouse is a bad idea though, especially since the elf moves slow and my screen does have a right end.
Such nice polish. Very well done.
Some things are really hard to figure out though.
Nice game, especially for a first.
However it's nothing too ground breaking and the ball could've been a bit faster.
I dearly miss a nice zzzzzap sound when you do hit a barrier.
Smash TV!
However I never managed to get a really good shot, in screen 3 I had to run through enemies while slowy shooting one after another.
Gimme more power! :)
Great little game!
I love the umbrella thingy. It really really needs some music to set the mood.
Nice one!
A bit nasty to have lives in a puzzle game, I usually don't feel like replaying already solved stages.
Also, a restart after game over would be nice. I had to close the program (which crashed).
The shrinking element is a good one!
Nice little game. Having a note that it uses HTML 5 would be helpful. Had to use firefox and had no sound.
Well done! What else is there to say ;)
Cute idea, the game felt a bit jerky though. Sometimes the jump wouldn't register.
Feeding the sun is a neat addon, the day/night cycle is well done.
Very well done!
A nice game, simple mechanics and good level design.
More!
Scary game :)
Nice little game.
The weapon upgrades (what I assume the + are) don't seem to do anything. The concurrently incoming enemies are tough.
Good move to make it actually difficult to stay in the center, the enemies are easier to hit from the side.
A very interesting idea.
The box growing/shrinking is somewhat flakey and having to read all the text messages all over again was quite annoying.
Still, solid entry!
Cannot run, since you used the HiDef profile.
A hint for the next LudumDare: Go with the LoDef profile.
I won!
The jump is a bit awkward, but the rest is well done.
I never get why you would a physics engine for something simple like this. The accelleration is annoyingly always kicking in during exact jumps.
Other than that the planet looks very nice. Having the player stand in all different directions is a bit awkward, however still better than to rotate the planet below (which makes me dizzy).
The idea is good and well executed, but a small thing:
White and cyan look too similar and insta death quite punishing ;)
Love the sphere effect.
However on my laptop it shows graphic errors (Intel crapola). It needs a bit more feedback about hitting something, I never was sure if I hit or missed or killed.
Weird game :)
Works fine, however the random positioning mostly ends up in unsolvable stages (too many pips appearing on the lower border without platforms below)
Great idea, and novel realization.
This is in dire need of cute sounds to go with.
Nice interpretation of the theme!
Hmm, Adobe at its best. Runs in FF, but not IE.
Neat, although the one fruit at the start of a stage is nasty, when you can only grab it during the transfer phase ;)
Doesn't load completely in FF.
Can't run, I'm not infesting my PC with Python.
Some strange design choices. There is a reason the aemoba on level 3 is so fast (it is because it moved downwards a lot). However setting you back one level is really mean ;)
ermmmm..... OK?
Nice idea. Took me a while to figure out how to control the angle of the dinosaur. Weird, but gets repetetive in the long run.
Very polished!
Nice little game. It definetively needs sounds, and maybe a faster start into mixed color enemies.
Neat!
Quite a bit of clipping problems, but plays nicely. I only managed to find 5 secrets.
Waiting for the Windows build
To summarise: WTF? :)
Weird, trippy. I stopped once I got the device thingy and went to sleep after visiting the ghosts in the right house.
Nice! There's innovation with the combined play elements of shooting and having to stay on screen.
Direly missing is a score counter and maybe mouse controls. The cannon is a bit too slow to go to the other side fast enough.
Really good idea!
The first few stages are very familiar but then you bring it on. Gave up on 8-2. Well done!
Good game! I'm not too fond of Tower Defense games, since they're mostly samey samey, but yours plays good.
Well done!
Nice idea with the other players ghosts. Only one of them seemed to actually jump though.
Made 5th!
Neat game, polished presentation and overall nice.
Thanks for adding the solution, the later stages are tough to figure out.
The one where you need to use a deep bomb on the core is nasty though.
Gets quite frantic with later waves.
Personally I'd have the difficulty ramp up faster, it takes a while before it feels interesting ;)
Weirdly similar to my entry, and also seems to play mostly the same.
One of the bigger problems is the tiny text in the HUD. Keeping that in mind it's figuring out a safe path to combat the weaker demons first. I made a score of 1901.
It's a good concept, you should listen to the feedback and build upon it.
Looks like a good start. Gameplay feels fine, once my bullet tumbled away, which looked neat.
What others said applies: A bit boring, needs more content, score counter and restart ability.
Awesome :)
Sound didn't work though.
Nice little game!
Nothing too difficult, but having a nice vibe. As others said, holding down should move faster. So I had to press/press/press which got pretty tiring.
Can't fairly vote since it does not work properly. I can walk three steps before everything turns black outside.
Very polished entry, a bit let down by the floaty movement. It's like Ant on Ice ;)
No floating and I'd like it even more.
Nice little game, but really devious. In some later level I just blindly mashed the buttons until the blocks were near the goal.
Also, somehow the command key help on the bottom feels "reverse".
Now that's a good one. Moving the robot and stomping on things is strangely satisfying ;)
And then I fell over...
Changing the leg control to keys would be nifty. It feels a bit cumbersome as it is.
Very impressive, and maybe a bit too ambitious.
My major complaint would be about the lack of control of the other team members while you steer your chosen one.
They seem to run off while I go searching chests and potions ;)
Very nice!
I'm especially impressed by the on-the-fly generation of planets. Although they do pop up a bit when you go near. It's a bit annoying that your ship can get stuck on a piece but your guns can't destroy it.
Other than that, I'm the richest man in universe now :)
Actually quite interesting concept. A bit in the slow movement becomes annoying.
Nifty puzzle game. As usual, a few Sokoban challenges had me scratching my head.
Nice little game :)
It needs just way more tiny worlds. Unfortunately I couldn't see the ending message since pressing a move key brought me back to the title screen at once.
Quite a lot of content, but ambitious. Creepy atmosphere all over ;)
Good one!
Aside from the graphical gimmick there isn't much for the gameplay. You can "play" by running right, jumping and throwing rocks.
It's doesn't feel challenging at all. And the rotating camera is irritating ;)
I think this might work better if you made the planet a bit bigger, so the curve is straighter.
Looking very nice!
As others said, the grid is confusing, maybe have a selection box instead of a rectangle. I only managed once to get a mana tree and worked from there. Sooner or later your grid is full though and you have to restart. I'd love to keep on clicking ;)
Nice idea, but hopelessly slow.
Nevertheless, feasting on the military is a good feeling after all the trouble they've given me. However in the bigger stages the hit you receive is feels too long.
Still, nice one!
Can't fairly vote for overall as there really isn't a game yet.
It does look promising, please finish it!
Also works fine in IE.
Really tough controls.
Sorry about the instant win, I forgot to remove D as the test for the done screen :)
Yeah, those hit boxes are annoying. Unfortunately that perspective is pretty bad for 2d images.
@madk: The fire level is a tight one, you need to run by the fire right from the start, pick the crystal in the back. Run to the bottom right, pick those two crystals. Then inside, fetch they key, and run to the door/exit.
The fires should be out of your way all of the time.
Yep, autotracker :)
For the fire belts, there's an explanation up there, it's all about knowing where to run to.
I know (and love) the movie, but I still don't get the game :)
It's basically a click-a-thon game as far as I can see?
Unhandled exception on startup, probably the OpenGL requirement.
Worked fine on my other machine.
Innovation on new lows :)
Nice little game, the floaty controls are somewhat annoying.
Waiting for Windows build.
Works fine on Windows 7, 64bit. Thanks for providing the build!
Weird game :)
A list of achievements would be helpful. And some scoring ;)
Aside from innovation this scores big!
Very solid game, very well done.
Interesting idea.
Took me 36 life times. The last bit is nasty, since you have to block yourself to reach the sun.
Nice game, nasty clickies in between :)
Worked fine here (Windows too). I gave up on the analysis part. I actually already had to cheat to get the password for the diary (is it in the game somewhere too? directly I mean, not the little hint you have there)
Google wants me to register for the download, sorry.
Weird, this time Google didn't want me to register.
Nice little game, nothing ground breaking though. Death does come fast ;)
Crashed on exit.
Love the radial scrolling, although it's feeling uncanny somehow.
The 10 second theme seems shoehorned in, but it's a solid game.
Little problem, the player ship can move outside the screen (bottom).
Sorry, no Android here.
Very nice idea!
Unfortunately a bit buggy (you can walk off the first screen to the left and fall down).
Quite ambitious, and mostly fun for multiplayer.
Not really a fun single player game though.
Now that's a grand idea!
Just noticed that with space you can also end the run cycle (and don't have to wait til the 10 secs are up).
This could be a really nifty game!
Nice idea, good music.
The game could be paced a tad faster.
The game starts, the menu screen appears but I can't start the game. Can't fairly vote that way.
The idea is nice. It would be grand if you could actually influence what happens during rewind. Right now it's basically a kind of checkpoint system.
Also, when you get hit before the first 10 seconds are gone, it gets stuck in a loop.
The controls could need a workover, they're a bit too floaty for my taste.
Beside of shader overkill: Is there any way to detect the diamond?
I can move on any block, wait for the timer to run out and then watch as I fall down (or with lots and lots of luck survive).
It's not particularly fun :)
Scored 137492
Very nice idea. I esp. like that you can move the lines with the mouse.
And the music getting nervous when time is running low.
Good one!
Packaging up with the run time would be neat.
Thanks for putting the runtime in there.
This is basically a endless fall? It's annoying fast that there is no indicator and you have to count the beeps.
Nice!
The basic gameplay is well done. The map is a bit huge though, and you have no indication on where to go :)
It does feel repetetive really fast. Either run through a room, avoid or kill the eye and wait for the time to nearly run out. Rinse and repeat.
TimeTaxi.exe is not a valid Win32 executable (seems to be 64bit?)
Interesting idea.
However it's nasty that you have no real indication where on the time line you are.
For others: The game works on a fixed time line. Your horizontal position is a exact place in time. 0 seconds is at the very left end (I think), there's no end at 10 seconds though.
Very nice!
Getting set back two screens is nasty though :)
Nice idea!
Could the bounding boxes be a bit too big? I wasn't near an enemy and suddenly died.
The idea is fine, but the controls make me furious.
Only the Win8 version worked for me, the other went nuts when moving.
Nice little platformer.
Having the movement keys stuck on entering some screens is annoying. Cost me a second whenever it happens.
The link gives me:
Error (403)
It seems you don't belong here! You should probably sign in. Check out our Help Center and forums for help, or head back to home.
Did you maybe forget to open the link to public?
Sorry, no Android
Sorry, no Android here.
Sorry, no Linunix here.
The 10 second theme is not really apparent :)
Other than that it seems a bit too ambitious. There's no real incentive to go forward (no score, no goal).
Sorry, no Mac.
At least you tried!
Is there anything do-able in this or are just shapes scrolling by?
Sorry, no Java.
Very nifty idea!
It really gets tough to the right end. Quite well done!
Love the mood that's coming over with the sound.
And having to time the death is a neat idea. Albeit quite hard :)
Looks nice, but it's hard. On default speed I'm quickly overwhelmed. Made it in 20.78 seconds
Sorry, I get a
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: LDGame/jar
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: LDGame.jar
Had to rearrange folders until it told me that I need a newer Java version. Sorry.
You need to set it up differently. Currently the link makes browsers download the main html file. However you access some java script files that are probably somewhere on Dropbox.
Very nice. I don't get the wind meter though. Does it show where the wind is coming from or going to?
But at least I did it once!
Google wants me to register, sorry.
Don't know what was up with Google (had the same issue with others too), worked fine now.
Awesome little game. The stages where you have the other boxes are really hard. Well done!
No installer next time please (or use the proper install path, e.g Program Files)
Very nice, but the controls are annoyingly floaty.
Not particularly on topic :)
Nice little game. I would've preferred fire on the mouse button instead of shift.
For this being your first game, congrats! You've done what others have failed.
As you said, avoiding unsolvable layouts would be a nice addon. It's not particularly challenging, but it's a nice, complete game.
A joke entry I suppose?
Is the game ending once you repaired that last checkpoint?
Everything's going dark then...
pppp.exe is not a valid Win32 executable?
Dunno what happened, this time it worked (was XP before).
Great visuals and music, and I love those games. However I couldn't figure out the second stage. The wizards magic didn't seem to work at all.
Squish the bugs, roll out more stages, Profit!!!
Google wants me to register, sorry.
Finished it in 69 steps.
For others: You have to plan the move during the first 10 seconds, and then watch Ignaz follow your instructions.
There is no feedback on your key presses.
The start button in the tutorial is irritating, as its mouse over effect still occurs when you already pressed it.
Looks really nice! Rotating the controls is nasty :)
Nice one :)
Scored 1215. It's a lot harder than it looks.
Yay, HTML5. Yesterdays power already the day after tomorrow.
Nice little game, not particularly challenging though. Would be interesting if you had something else to take care of.
Nice.
The mouse is extremely sensitive.
Hard to judge it fairly, since it has some glitches. The right half of the background is missing for me (and since I've got Debug DirectX runtimes active flickers horribly between green and magenta).
After the phone call it said to get to the third house from the right. I went there and nothing happened?
The idea is a really good one though!
For starters, you should mention the Shift key, which lets you run faster.
The level is a bit too huge at the beginning.
The idea is not too special (I basically have the same :) ), the level design makes this somewhat naff.
Still, quite an achievement in only 13 hours being new at it!
Nifty!
The 10 second barrier doesn't seem to matter, I've run below.
Difficult in default mode.
It was fun for the first few stages, but then there's not much difference. Still, quite good for 48 hours!
The idea is an interesting one, the execution rather problematic.
I'm a fast typer, but it doesn't lend itself very good for a hectic game.
Pleasant execution, but really really tough.
I never saw any other powerups then the DEF.
Neat idea!
And as I read you also carefully balanced the new tiles. With lots of red X you'd simply keep the playfield empty.
The rotators are hard to distinguish on a short glance, you should make the arrow head more prominent.
And sound! :)
Haha, awesome :)
Has a few collision issues; picking up guys sometimes doesn't seem to work.
Nice game!
Marred a bit my too large hit boxes and also a few nasty levels (invisible maze, boxes with hidden switches field)
Same as Alexander Ponomariov.
Find a different hoster.
Very nice idea.
It would be interesting if the evil ones wouldn't travel directly at you, but somewhat non linear.
For others: Yellow are buttons that open blocks. Dark grey is the exit.
Very nice, but tough!
And it seems to hog memory to no end, after 5 min it was up at 900 MB.
Neat idea.
However the collision nearly kills it. Got stuck in a wall twice.
An indicator on the current active box would be helpful.
Very solid entry!
It really could've needed some more questions.
You need to add a link (remember to add http:// in front or it won't appear)
Also, installing Python won't happen here, sorry.
Lovely game!
Everything works together nicely. My only niggle: On the longer fall with the spikes and moving platforms, you really need to put a second checkpoint there.
Well done!
Very neat!
Looks lovely and plays even better.
Nice little game, but way too easy! I stopped on Level 24 as it didn't seem to get more difficult.
Solid entry.
Sorry, no Java here.
Tests on an older PC with Java still on, it doesn't start up "NoClassDefFound exception"?
Sorry, the PC with Java is XP, 32bit.
Scored 111875. Nice game, but not really too challenging.
The white font is hard to read on the background; also crashed on exit.
Sorry, no Android here.
The moving is horribly buggy, I can't move across the N-E curves at all.
Also, the score display below is cut off?
I can't score fairly since I'm not able to play properly.
Very nice!
I really like the look! Annoying was that pressing D repeatedly would through me out of the game and into the options.
It's missing squeaky sounds ;)
It's a weird game :)
Getting caught doesn't really punish you or anything. That makes it almost too easy.
The idea is nice, the gameplay mostly too.
However it's a bit hard to only have the music as time indicator. I'd love to have a force restart key to restart a level at once. Often I have to wait for the other 10 seconds to pass to restart.
A bit more gameplay polish and it's really good.
Hmm, the idea is neat.
However the balance is missing. After 5 cans you simply can't reach another anymore with you being able to do something about it.
Can't fairly vote for overall and fun since it's multiplayer.
Once I hit player 1 the game stuck and I had to kill it.
Also, .zip is not really web :)
The game is all nice, but that's some weird background story :)
I just kept at shooting the planes until I won.
Sorry, no Android.
Talking about frustration :)
I rage quit on the second stage. Having to restart the full thing is naff.
Can't fairly vote as it's pretty incomplete.
But I do see where you wanted to go. Kinda like "Big Deal". Having to put the nuggets piece by piece is nasty :)
Google wants me to register, sorry.
Worked fine in IE.
Solved it on my first try. Was kinda scared about the exploding part, the only sound in there :)
The looks is lovely, the idea perfectly crazy.
But WTH is up with that control? Whenever I touch something I start to run up invisible walls.
Neat idea!
It's not so obvious that the other people get stronger, when you suddenly need to hit them more often.
Also, why are the nights numbered 1, 3, 5 ?
Neat, it would be nice if you had the time to add more stages (and make stage 2 solvable)
Sorry, no Java here.
Looks and sound are nice, but the controls, urghh...
More than once I fell off although I was pressing Space to jump.
Nice, simple, clear cut idea.
It's really tough later on if you suddenly only have the double shot.
Scored 266
Cool idea, but weird language choice :)
Is there a way to restart the game without restarting the server?
I dropped the grenade and went under deck.
Nasty monsters, walk through on screen walls and screen walls too! :)
The control feel a bit too sluggish for a fast retreat.
Sorry, no Ouya
Very nice! Good idea and flawless implementation.
That could be made into a full game, with different enemies and bullets :)
Crashed on exit.
Sorry, won't install Python.
Pack it with a runtime and your game will be tested by a lot more people.
Ah, a 16-bit executable :)
On the first try I wrote marshmallows, pressed enter and it went nuts ;)
Not really innovative, but nice fun.
For some reason I won when I shot the left most enemy in the level with the tower?
Google wants me to register, sorry.
Dunno what was up with Google, worked fine now.
Not really innovative, but nice little ditty!
More drift! :)
Solid game. When being rammed by a bot I sometimes had the notion that the direction of the checkpoints was reversed? (or I just rotated that much)
Now that's near perfect :)
Very neat strategy game.
Love the sounds :)
Make the player a wee bit faster, make him stand out more (the first few Zs are lost when looking where you are)
Oh, and some reset level function. I accidentally ate all humans in the middle, died and resurrected at the start without a chance to reach the end part.
Sorry, no Java here.
Not too hard, but having to start all over is really annoying.
Now that's a really great idea!
And having the unlockables tingles my senses :)
This has potential for a full game.
I get a
xception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: jump/jar
aused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: jump.jar
Neat game, though a bit on the hard side.
The red bullets could stand out more.
Nice little game, tough last two stages.
Can't vote for Audio as you're supposed to create it yourself.
The music is awesome!
Why wouldn't that work on IE? Fell for WebGL?
Very good!
A good fit to the theme! Could be a contender for #1
Order now Episode 2 and 3 to continue your adventure! (TM)
This is great fun, very atmospheric when you're in the later stages and close to die. Well done!
Can't vote, I get a null pointer access at startup. (Win 7, 64bit)
Nice concept. The interface is a bit wonky, and either I don't get the price system or it's borked :)
I expected to buy cheap at one planet, and sell where valuable. But when I warped back to the other planet the price was similarly low as the buy price.
Nice! Not too innovative, but interesting. Although all the items are rather confusing without known what is what. I'll chalk that down to 48 hours though.
Nice idea with two viewpoints. However the game is in need of some balancing or probably a bit more description.
Both worlds do not feel connected at all.
The idea is a real interesting one, unfortunately I don't have Unity.
Still, Unity beats Java hands down!
Can't fairly vote, as there either some graphic flaw or I don't get it :)
I'm trying to locate the sound source, push left trigger and I get a visible skull shield thingy if found.
Right trigger doesn't seem to harm it, but touching it causes some coin collect sound to appear. Score doesn't change at all.
Used Windows 7 on a crappy AMD Radeon something.
A executable please, I'm not gonna infest my system with Python.
Can't fairly vote as there simply isn't enough to play.
I don't vote for graphic as you didn't make that pharaos mask :)
Nifty idea, however I never get which pyramids are linked. I don't seem to have control over that part. So I simply tried to place pyramids near each other.
I won on first try, but was down to two pyramids.
Can't vote fairly as there is not really much to play.
Sorry, no Java.
Sorry, no Java.
A very good game, fun, polished, atmosphere.
The theme isn't too apparent though.
Nice idea!
Even with the instruction screen it's not clear that you need to change meteors trajectory to make them fly into your star. Do not try to collect them with the Earth planet :)
404 on the link
The idea is nifty, very abstract. However there doesn't seem to be any challenge. You float about, suck blips to their partners and collect. Rinse repeat.
The move sound gets annoying after a while.
Extra kudos for a nice small executable without tons of extra framework.
Really, really awesome! Polish up the wazoo!
The end mood is just ruined by that twatter thingie.
Cute idea. The platforms that are non-solid in the ghost world took me a few tries to figure out.
Sorry, no Java.
I love the idea and execution. Very british :)
Dialling is the actual challenge, if only the numbers would move too. I so far wrecked one pod, landed 3, but didn't reach an alien yet ;)
Sorry, no Java.
Really neat concept. The roll directions are definetly the wrong way.
The music is ambitious, but weird.
The link doesn't work.
Sorry, no Java.
Nifty idea! :)
Got 23 on my first try.
As a same aged player I can relate to this.
Awesome job, and perfect entry. I usually don't comment Jam games, but this one touches me!
Congrats, and feel envied :)
This really needs a nice scream sound :)
Neat idea, would be a bit easier if both planets are on screen. With some more addons (gravity wells, etc.) this could be real fun.
The art is awesome, keeping everything in the dark lets fantasy kick in. Really tough in wave 3.
There's that little annoying gap in the center, where you can't shoot at.
Nothing too innovative, but fun for a while.
Sounds would have been awesome!
Sorry, no OS/X.
Very good idea. I like it!
A real problem is the lagging mouse cursor.
Very neat idea. Not too much of a game unfortunately.
Needs some soothing background music; also the starfield in the background seemed to behave very erratically.
I can't vote fairly since the game always hangs when clicking twice in any of the connected worlds (tried in Tundra and Desert World). It worked fine in the overworld though.
Sorry, no Java.
Sorry, no Java.
Very nice game, quite difficult. Took me a while to figure out that you can only pickup the enhancers when using the proper color setting.
Very nice graphics. Works fine in IE11.
There is no sound though, and it seems to hang once I leave the disco with the girl.
Really good. Great atmosphere. You were obviously aiming for something higher. Would love to see it fleshed out more.
What a crazy game! Takes a while to get to grips. Having to restart after touching a whirl is nasty. Especially as you are prone to hit them when jumping up.
Works fine in IE 11, but boy, HTML5 does make fans spin. The future I tells ya!
Looks very nice. I like the art style. It's not really innovating though.
Somewhat irritating is the jerky movement. It looks like you let the player move over a tile center only to set him back.
Sorry, no Java.
Sorry, no Java.
Sorry, no Java.
Sorry, no OS/X.
Sorry, no Java.
Sorry, no Java.
Sorry, no Java.
Very well done, great polish!
Very good idea! Looks so easy on begin but gets tough later on. Needs sound badly!
Sorry, no Java.
No Java here.
Not bad :§
The push effect is pretty drastic, you'll be in the corner of the screen in a whiffy.
Can't vote, as it breaks on startup.
Don't add random dlls millinilli. Either your game or your SFML version is the debug build. These require debug runtime dlls.
Try to add the release version of both.
Sorry, no Java.
Nice little game.
The small black font on purple background was probably not the best idea :)
Interesting idea, doesn't feel like a real fit to the theme though (but then, whose game does anyway?)
Get's boring really fast, it needs some more elements.
Can't vote fairly as I can only see bright and dark background, ship and light circle, but no collidable background. Played on Windows 7
Nice game.
The rocket feels a bit too heavy.
A Windows executable would be fine, no GameMaker here.
Sorry, no OS/X
Nice concept. Not too innovative, but good fun. And quite tough. The floatiness sometimes seems to carry over to the other direction (from right to left)
As always with easy-death-games, try to make the restart phase short!
Are the later stages randomized or is there an actual end?
Sorry, no Java here.
Sorry, no Java here.
Can't fairly vote, but the idea sounds and looks interesting. Nice music BTW!
Both versions work fine here.
It's a bit like Wario Ware, with the addition that you need to remember which games you played and which you didn't. Unfortunately every mini game really is pretty simple.
I guess it would be more fun if the in between mini game part would work faster.
Sorry, no Android.
I fail to do anything, I can travel through time but fail to exit from my time travel box. Crafting shows a list of things but I can select none.
Can you describe the first few steps?
Sorry, no Java.
Nice little game. It's marred by a few bugs, enemies and pickups falling into the ground.
Is there an end?
Nice idea. Not really to the theme though.
Any strategy is mostly killed by the random row placing. The winning strategy seems to be to spam archers.
Can't vote fairly as I can't get too far. It's way too difficult, even with slowdown.
Looks very nice and polished though!
The idea is an interesting one :)
The actual feel of a shooter is missing though. No shoot sound, explosions.
The music gets annoying really really fast ;)
Another Flappy Bird clone, yawn.
It looks very nice, but it's a simple and quite boring game. Made 25 points on second go.
Add more variety and/or challenge!
Can't run. Please fix as advised.
Sorry, no Java.
Sorry, no Linux.
Nothing too ground breaking, but not bad for 48 hours.
Sorry, no Java.
It's basically a complex turret defense game.
Some things need to be explained. I have no idea where the money come from, and why (it didn't from the start, but it did appear before I cleansed a whole planet).
The cleansing part gets repetetive really fast.
With a cleanup and bugfixing and audio this could be quite fun.
There's not really much gameplay in there.
Move with WASD, H and M work as described. Enter the portal (the purple particle thingy) and then kill the boss. You'll need at least one extra Mana potion (can be bought in the first scene at the green .. thingy)
Link says 404.
Nice little game, but there doesn't seem to be much of a challenge.
Moving (and dangerous) enemies would be a nice addon.
Looks very nice, but the gameplay could use a bit more polish.
I got the end of level 2 somewhere before (visually?)
Plus sound! :)
Nothing groundbreaking new, but nicely made.
I wanted to add a new option, but it said "Error in first field".
Nice game with annoying music :)
The idea is a good one. It's nasty when planets bounce off outside the screen as you can't connect them anymore.
Sorry, no Java.
Sorry, no Java.
This grand twitch site rather bombards me with an ad than your game. Sorry, can't vote fairly.
Can't vote fairly, music plays, I can move the wand, but the baubles never appear.
Used IE11, shows "Not enough stack space" on the console.
Works nice in IE11, just no sound.
Neat concept, it's really hard to concentrate on more than one part. The difficulty curve is weird. It takes a long while to get harder, but then it runs towards impossible in a few seconds.
Sorry, no Java.
Nice music!
The basic idea looks nice. It probably was a great idea to make the battle a shooter. This could get interesting if you manage to make an strategic connection between those parts.
Very nice, but really really tough.
The stages are way too long, either split them or add checkpoints.
Nice, but nothing groundbreaking. Pretty tedious searching for the bosses with the Ultimate Leek :)
Can't fairly vote as it's a tad buggy.
How to restart if I die?
Really good for 11 years.
Note the rules however: You need to include the source and have made all the assets yourself.
An interesting concept marred by quite a few bugs and annoying decisions.
Could be quite fun if worked on.
Nice idea!
I once lost level 2 because the trajectory was suddenly the other way round. I guess you aimed for a puzzly approach.
Currently it's mostly a challenge of click at the right time :)
Nice particles!
Very neat concept!
A tad annoying that during the first few staging you have too many too big overlapping blocks, most of the time I touch one I basically start the second phase.
Can't play it, driver is too old.
Sorry, no Windows executable.
Having it py2exe'd would help a lot of people ;)
Interesting concept, unfortunately a bit unfinished.
That's quite annoying with the fish, since their result differs really.
I don't really grasp the connections between persons. I basically down-fluence the high penguins and do the inverse for the lower ones.
Sorry, no Java.
Category: Weird :)
Sorry, no Java.
Weird in a good way :)
And quite hard if you don't spam both buttons where it works. I like the little touch of elemental resistance.
Sorry, no Java.
A nice little game. Without installer would be preferred, even if it comes with an uninstaller.
Collision is a tad buggy.
Very good game, really frantic. It's a tad annoying that you have to start all over again once all lives are gone. The fifth stage did me in (the one with the bombs).
Completely non themed though :)
Can't fairly vote. That's the first Unety game that won't run for me.
Can't fairly vote.
Sorry, no Java.
I think I've one, but now I'm blinked blind :)
Nice idea, but boy is the collision code bugged. That would be the first to clean up.
Nice game, quite polished setup.
In the long run it tends to get a bit boring. Maybe some other obstacles than just blocks in your way would spice it up.
Looks very good, and it's really ambitious.
It took me a while to figure out how to move the view (hover mouse at the screen borders)
Unfortunately on the second objective I connected an enemy network which then proceeded to shoot me into oblivion.
Nice game. That last level is really really nasty.
Too much God in there, but well done.
Can't fairly vote. The download link redirects to a generic Google Drive ad page.
Sorry, no Java.
Nice idea, I think I chose wrong at the end.
Make him move faaster...
Please add the required runtime Dlls for Love.
Not too innovative, but almost well done :)
The controls are finicky, and the difficulty is outright brutal. I did make it to the first checkpoint though ;)
Can't fairly vote, crashes on startup.

Please at least make a Windows executable (py2exe should handle this)
Those downloads are huuuge!
Quite ambitious, and without any background it's hard to tell what to do. I stopped after encountering the girl and trying to get back home.
Sorry, no Java.
Can't vote as no keypresses seem to register. Using IE 11.
Interesting idea, however the game does not end or notify me once I color all fields. Also, since the orb appears randomly it's totally a game of luck.
Very nice start of something. Unless I missed something you can grow up, look outside but that's it?
Also, thanks for adding the Java runtime!
Nice little game. As far as I can see it's only a small loop?
Holy crap, this is hard. Really hard.
Very polished entry. Crashes on exit.
I don't see many political actions. Not much of a game really.
I think I figured *twitch* out, how to *twitch* play this *twitch* game.
Cursor keys move the *twitch* mouse in the *twitch* upper half. *twitch* pushing down throws the apples *twitch* in the *twitch* lower half.
WA*twitch*SD moves the man in the *twitch* lower half. Push *twitch* down to *twitch* the apple *twitch* to increase the *twitch* score. *twitch* *twitch* this *twitch*.
And now get off my lawn :)
These unity files usually come with a .html file where they are embedded. You need to upload both files.
For others: If you get a "MSVCR120.dll is missing" message: This requires the Visual Studio 2013 C++ runtime (32bit version).
Again, Unreal engine fails to impress. You might have set the default details lower, it's a jerkfest on my machine. I fail the jump tutorial since the 'Verse switch registers too late.
It's obviously inspired by Portal, and looks really interesting. Not bad for 48h.
Same as caranha: You should at least post a description of what to do with the .catrobat file.
Nifty concept, albeit with a flaw.
Just "measure" the biggest block. Now go to the left, and start to collect color points about three times the value of the measured one while moving right. This should let you fill up the last block at the right end.
I'm sure you could find something to avoid that problem ;)
Sorry, no Java.
Not bad for 48 hours. Could really use some sound.
This was really great :)
The only thing missing was sound. More!
Neat idea. Those nasty slow villagers deserved to die anyway :)
Sorry, no Linux.
Sorry, no Java.
Really nice, although some 48h limits are visible.
Damn fetch quests, I played longer than I should have. Unfortunately there's nowhere to go once you have the cat and you can't reach the start area again.
Well made game!
Sorry, no Java.
Really awesome!
Works fine on IE11 too.
So, where's the source? :)
Minor niggle: Over time the amount of ghosts is really bogging the game down at the start phase.
Now that's ambitious! Figuring out Enter to start took a while.
Very nifty. But the enemy AI is pretty tough, it overran me after a few minutes.
Sorry, no Java.
Can't vote, doesn't show anything but the borders, using IE 11.
Not my cup of tea. Good music though :)
Waiting for a Windows build.
Thanks for the Windows build!
Very nice game, I like those place-command games. Even comes with a bunch of stages.
Interesting concept. Sometimes I couldn't drag the slider.
It's not immediately clear that the story continues when you choose "New Level".
Interesting concept. I would have like a goal to work towards (like having a home faction), but it's neat as is.
The faction reputation changes were a bit to harsh IMHO, suddenly my best friend had me on their hate scala.
Can't fairly vote.
Loading screen plus progress bar appears. Title appears, music starts playing, but the game doesn't start on a click.
The idea is a good one, this just needs polish. Faster movement, more puzzles, sound!
Please, no installers in LD. If every entry comes with an installer I have to reset my OS anew afterwards.
Neat little game. However it does not feel like I have much control. Obviously the options have direct influence, but it works best by not doing anything :) Scored 2879
Music is always good, but the loop is quite short and gets annoying fast.
Haha, I loved the first two times the boss surprised me :)
After that it get's hella tedious. Also, it's a little bit small. I only saw circular bullet hell, jumping on me and splitting; are there more later on?
Aww, dang, just when the game should really start off it ends :)
Great mood, and neat idea. A shame that there's not more to do.
Fun game. The idea is nice, but the constant rotation is highly irritating. Maybe I'm getting old :)
I had the bug, where a tree wouldn't vanish after being chopped.
It was.. interesting..
Hard to categorize, as there's not much to do but collecting spheres and see the landscape change (at least it does seem to change).
Quite lovely, my daughter loves it :)
Suggestion: More enemies and/or a little less floaty movement.
Nice game.
Are there actually any mines in later levels? I think I didn't encounter any (or do they simply reset the score but not the remaining time? If so, I did encounter one)
A moving enemy would add a bit more spice.
Relaxing, and nice music, but not my cup of tea. Add in more flower types and a some goal that you can do but don't have to ;)
Interesting idea, and nicely executed.
Having different planets would be neat :) And a retry option, currently I have to reload the site to play again.
Really nice!
Encountered a bug, when trading the collected stuff and you press E repeatedly you get lots of Shulls. Lovely :)
Very lovely. Interesting combat system you've got there.
I am now apparently married ;)
Very good game, works also nicely in Edge. Quite good for 48 hours, and a good fit for small world due to the country flags :)
Neat! Took me a while to recognize Rock, Paper, Scissors (a leaf?)
Anyhow, made it to ACT VII. A health info would be great.
Now that's a great idea and a really well executed game. Managed to beat it in 1104 clicks. That game is right up my alley. Very well done!
The only niggle I have is that clicking sometimes feel unresponsive (between tiles?)
Now that's a game after my taste, but probably not many others :)
Took me a while to get it, but then it worked nicely. Having 0,0 in the bottom left is irritating, I prefer 0,0 in top, left.
Beat all 5 stages, with 3, 2, 6, 4, 4 moves.
Technically rock solid game, but IMHO you don't feel really in control. The idea to jump between planets is interesting nevertheless.
Please provide a binary to run
Nothing too innovative, but a neat little game. The enemies movement is way too predictable, having a bit of randomness would pump the game replay value.
A nice little game. I found the fishing rod, caught a fish, got a torch and then got hopelessly lost. That world surely isn't small :) And that's the major problem actually, you're getting lost, as the world seems to be pretty huge.
Huh, my comment vanished?
Anyhow, not bad for only 7 hours! Nothing too innovative, but more playable than other entries I've encountered :)
Simplistic, but nice.
I played up to a score from 220. Some of the later random colors were nearly black, so I missed those balls most of the time. After a certain time no more balls spawn? I expected it to get frantic, but it didn't. Also, this would heavily benefit from a few sound effects.
The idea is interesting, but you're basically chatting with a chatbot? Is there any thread to follow or is it just random chatting?
A collaberation editor, that usually works out fine with enough people participating. So I think some people did something, but didn't bother to comment?
PS: Source code!
Can't vote fairly, as there's only source and not even an executable.
At least provide a executable so we get any idea what you were planning.
Very neat! You get to a good stable situation after a while, so I guess that's where debt comes in. A really nice beginning, it just needs a goal.
Mini Archon!
Can't vote fairly, as I can only test alone. The entry is very polished, with control mapping, music, sfx and all. Add an AI and you've got a real good game. Maybe go for the full checkerboard :)
Interesting idea, a shame it's so short.
For anyone wondering: The controls are by mouse. Click on things to make other things happen.
Nice little game, a bit short unfortunately. The collision is quite buggy, you get stuck in the floor all the time. Also the overall feel is "floaty", make the player move faster.
Great concept. A bit long to go around, but the story carries it ownward. Dang sad ending :)
The target arrow looks weird, but once you know which way to go it's fine.
I feel I can't vote fairly. There's a 3d island to run about on, but is there actually anything out there?
Nothing too innovative, but damn tough. I gave up on the fall part in the top middle. At least one checkpoint would help a loooot ;)
Awesome, a bit rough, but what can you expect in 48 hours. Good job!
When you die you seem to be able to fly and sometimes shoot in the lower border. Also, I couldn't work out the healing part.
The idea is a good one, but the controls nearly kill the game.
The acceleration is really mean, as it makes me do a short jump when want a big one. If you polish the controls a bit this could be quite fun; plus make the "nothingness" come after the player faster.
A puzzle game, neat :)
Bonus: Bobbly, bobbly is the last I reckon? At least that's where I couldn't go on. Nifty! A bit less floaty would be good though.
Nice game. The egg chase almost feels futile, when you start jumping you almost never get it.
Doing nothing and just evading obstacles would be a sure fire way to a high score :)
Removed seems to be removed
Neat :)
Is there any other outcome than "Control your feelings?"
Could it be that you forgot to set the starting level to 1? It only starts with level 5, after that the game is completed.
Neat idea, but the Tetris part feels kinda slow.
The start is awesome, you really should expand on this. Iron out all the little annoyances: In window mode the browser scrolls with space and arrow keys. Shift doesn't seem to speed up very much. And more stages!
Love the music :)
Your hosted links only have the exe file, not the required data folder! Embedded works fine in Edge though.
Neat idea! It's pretty hard checking if the colour is one of the wanted ones :)
Very nice :) Makes me feel bad that I have to have someone killed to see who the traitor is. Could be added upon, so you get other ways to detect the traitor. Great atmosphere.
The concept is interesting, but is there only the one small stage?
Nice idea, and some good stages there. I gave up in the stage with the two doors and four switches :)
Can't fairly vote as it crashes on startup. I've got VS runtimes installed, and also Windows 10, 64bit.
Can't fairly vote, but at least it's bug free :)
It's hard to vote fairly as it's not completed. The idea looks interesting, but the menu is hellish confusing. Also no vote for the music, as it's not made by you during the compo.
Interesting idea, but the controls are weird. Sometimes it feels I solved a stage by mere luck than actual skill. Probably more tutorial steps to show how to get those pesky world rotation :)
Nice game!
Hey, that's a really good idea! And it's fun getting the first few electrons. Later on you notice that you can't really catch them unless you scare them into borders or corners. It feels like the challenge is missing. With a good audio track and a bit more gameplay variance this could be really nice!
Quite nice, and a good variety of stages. Somethings broken with the control, sometimes you get to move very fast, sometimes slow. I understand that comes from some floor parts or speed up items, but it seems to persist through death.
Neat! I like the pixel graphics :)
There's a bug where you can rotate all missile by 90 degrees when clicking after they are launched.
Can't fairly vote for overall, as it's not complete.
The main idea sounds really good, it's a shame you didn't finish it. This could be quite nice, esp. with one or more enemies.
The idea sounds interesting, it's a shame you didn't complete it outside of the first room. This could be real nice :)
Argghhh #1: Please, no installer for LD. Arghhhh #2: No uninstaller? Arghhhh #3: The jump key only seems to work sporadically Arghhhh #4: No health feedback?
It's a neat idea. The starting is quite slow (but it does take up pace :) ). Esp. the jumping only seems to work sporadically, which is quite fit to the name of the game :)
Quite a nice little game. The collision is a bit off, but there is a neat game in there. Managed to beat 3 bosses.
Can't fairly vote for overall, as there isn't much of a game. No challenge, and it's pretty dark.
But it feels like it could be made in a nice little game.
Can't fairly vote since there's not much of a game. However I really love that look :)
Once the workers are sent back home they can't be selected anymore ;)
Can't fairly vote, as it seems, a Oculus is required. Using "obscure" tech is neat, but I fear it won't give you many votes.
A shame you couldn't make it more complete, it's a good kind of quirky as it is currently :)
Can't vote fairly as it doesn't work properly.
The Windows.exe, what's it for? It certainly isn't a full package and requires Love2d installed.
I had a portable Love version and dragged the .love file onto it. A window appeared, music started playing and the window kept disappearing and reappearing.
Can't fairly vote, I waited nearly 10 minutes with anything happening.
Awesome, really fitting to the theme. The controls feel somewhat floaty, but don't matter much. Very nice :)
Can't fairly vote. As you said, it isn't finished, and I don't see anything. I get a short glimpse of a few buildings before everything gets dark.
Can't run it, there's only the exe to download and it complains:
There should be 'Happy Islands._Data' folder next to the executable
None of which is found in the folder on Google Drive. Could you upload a complete archive?
Nice one!
I love how you indicate the earths health :) Still, it gets boring quickly, maybe add some other elements to the game play?
Nice game :)
I had to set the mouse sensitivity to the right most value to properly evade the red things. There could be more blue ones, I managed to find 3 before I gave up. Also, the black planet surface vs. the black background is somewhat irritating.
Can't vote fairly as that annoying bloom effect makes it pretty unplayable, even on fastest setting.
The idea is good, but the controls need polish. The cars behave differently as expected, I feel they should lerp to straight when pressing forward/backward.
Also doesn't work in Edge.
Very neat idea :)
I especially like that the farmer keeps an eye on you, so you can't simply go for the fence. The collision checks could use a bit of polish, I couldn't eat grass if the distance was not right.
Seems you chose the wrong category, Compo vs. Jam.
This is a really awesome game. Very polished, very playable, albeit a bit on the tough side.
Keep on working on this, it's worth it! And don't forget saving facilities :)
Hmm, hard to say what to make of this. It's basically a physics engine test :)
The idea is a funny one. But somehow the shot strength seemed to have a random percentage; from a gut feeling using the same power had some dishes go over or in front of the target table. I also do not really see the theme in this; unless it's the space on the table.
I managed to get a lousy 50 points :)
I also get the JNI error here.
java -version shows this: java version "1.8.0_101" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_101-b13) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 25.101-b13, mixed mode)
How to run with arguments? java LD42.jar debug=info shows Fehler: Hauptklasse .\LD42.jar konnte nicht gefunden oder geladen werden
roughly translates: Error: main class .\LD42.jar could not be found or loaded
Awesome, it works now :)
Now that's the GTA I know! I managed to deliver two fares before the car was totalled. The controls (esp. turning) feels a bit too floaty, albeit it's good enough to actually get round the bend.
I had all AI vehicles combined in the top left border, while other parts were empty (no walkers, no cars). That's the places where I actually could drive more than a few blocks without crashing into something).
That's a really really ambitious goal you set there, and it shows, that 48 hours are not enough. It's however quite close!
What next? Sounds! Repair possibility!
Looks very ambitious, but unfortunately the game play feels lacking. The walking is too slow for my taste. Also, 12 keys is quite a lot, esp. as the latter ones you'll really have to scout all over the map. With a bit more polish and adjustment this could get real fun.
Tough like nails! But a very solid entry. Really well done!
I'd wish for having mouse look to aim, so I get fine grained angular shots like the boss does :)
Boy, that's one ambitious game/project. Unfortunately the 3d environment is rather detrimental to the actual game. On my PC the lights on the PC didn't work, so I had to guess by the appearance of the menu. The game would've worked completely without the 3d part.
I do use assembler (with my trusty C64), and so was confused why the tutorial mission solution would be SET 0 3 11111111. The intention of 3 seems to be to indicate the lowest byte of the 32bit value. I was thinking in little endian and would've thought 0 would indicate the lowest byte :)
Really really awesome what you created in a mere 48 hours, but also really very niche :)
Fun little game. Nothing too innovative but a complete game. The score display seems to be out of the screen in smaller resolutions.
Maybe make it speed up after a while?
Awesome little game :)
It's great waltzing with the huge blob and breaking everything. Nice touch! I forgot to get the little square thingy under the green floor :(
Neat idea actually :)
What I'm missing is a overview of all players and their stats. It's hard to remember other's stats if you want to compete. Also, the extra click for the roll irks me.
It feels like there's a game in there wanting to come out. Something you really should try to build upon.
Neat idea :)
Took me a while to figure out that the color of the parcel has to match the background of the requested item. The shelves are basically just used to get single piece packages from the bundles. It's also not clear that you have to put the package on the conveyor belt to deliver it.
I had it crash on me when I actioned the conveyor without a package on it.
The controls feel a bit slow, maybe make the player move faster a bit.
Doesn't seem to load in Edge. Usually I have no problems with Unety web games. Sorry, can't vote fairly.
The window size changing is a really great idea :)
Sometimes it takes a while to get a weapon. The enemy movement seems a tad buggy, sometimes they jump out of the walkable tiles. Well done!
Not bad for the little time. Overall it's just a simple snake clone though, and doesn't seem particularely challenging. Maybe adding another gimmick would make it a bit more interesting.
Sorry, can't fairly vote without VR.
Great idea :)
Once you're up and running and have enough money it's just plastering everything with the biggest items and rake the money in. Is there any way to lose actually? I missed an actual challenge. Once you're up you just need to sign new clients once older ones are gone. I love the touch with the client symbols ;)
Managed to get a few points, but I'm pretty unsure where to go next. The map feels pretty big, and lots of objects to find. I do not see where the theme comes into this (I guess it comes later in the game), so I refrained from voting for Theme. Really good writing you've got there!
Actually now that's really new idea I haven't seen yet this LD. Quite well done, you really manage to convey a profoundly confused feeling. I got the ending where I accused Charles.
Really hard to vote fairly here.
You really need to put an explanation of which object is what. The sun is somewhat clear, the space ship kinda too. I entered the triangle shaped ship, but that one couldn't shoot.
How do you enter a planet?
The floaty controls feel ok but are really hard when there's lots of objects about. Also, you can hide in the side border :)
The voxel graphics are great! But boy, the game is quite tough. I needed two attempts to finish "easy". And got totally overrun in the next difficulty. IMHO it takes a bit too long to gather enough resources in the beginning. And the mortar must be really close to targets, I tried putting it in the back row and it didn't do anything :)
Other than that, really well done!
Now that's a really new idea I haven't seen before.
Unfortunately the placing is really tough, I couldn't even beat stage 2. There were three combos in stage 1, but I find only one in stage 2. Is there another combo than photo plus glasses?
Also, the aubergine in the first stage is irritating, it looked like a sticker but seemed to be not.
Maybe add mouse controls for faster placing?
Really nice game!
Quite solid game, but for some reason everything feels way too slow. Makes it easier to complete though :)
Sounds would really have helped!
Very nice, overall polished entry. Great music, visuals, and even a story. Really well done! Smaller problems have been mentioned already, scrolling is not apparent (why not start out with the rooms more to the left?) and also multi-stacking. Awesome job!
Doesn't seem to start up properly here. Can't fairly vote.
Nicely executed game! As others said (pretty much every one ;) ) - the control method is uncommon and that contributes to a few useless deaths.
How does the theme come into this? It didn't seem obvious to me.
Hahaha, awesome. I half expected the balloon to be the end :)
The space part is really awesome, it's completely different. Well done!
Neat game :)
As others said, the penalty for not filling the bags 100% is way too harsh. Having unhappy customers costs a lot less!
You might want to make sure that there actually is a bag that can fit all customers items.
Really nice game :) The mechanic for minimum wire exposing were weird, sometimes adding an extra tile actually lowered the percentage? Were well done!
Interesting idea. Esp. since you made it a puzzle game and not a simulation. I however seem to fail to grasp the mechanics, I was stumped at the level where you have to get 9 population. Maybe you should indicate more which characteristic requires more.
Still, solid little game!
Awesome game, great :)
Close calls in a few places but I made it with 12 pieces. Thanks for having the good ending with not 100% items :)
Very solid, nice game! Had a few close calls, but once your field is big enough and you have enough space for all variants (diagonal cross being the last?) you can keep playing forever. A total score would be a good addition, as the money pool obviously decreases for upgrading. Really nice!
Lovely little game :)
Obviously it's guesswork all the way, but on the other hand it's over soon. Too short ;)
Sim City :)
Really really good! Took me a while to figure out that you need to click on the newspaper to build houses and other stuff. I survived one election ;)
Great little game! Looks like I also gave up on the last level, but now that I read the comment it's clear. Really well done! PS: Also had to turn off uBlock for it to work.
Funny idea :)
In the end it's a nice puzzle game which is made quite a bit more difficult due to the control scheme. Couldn't fit the theme though without ;)
Interesting idea, and a new variant of match 3 for me :)
The masquerade as mobile with apps and the game over message is lovely! The only thing a bit weird is the control scheme, I'd preferred pure mouse driven. Got 2200 compression points my a** :)
The idea is really good :)
There seem to be a few problems regarding click detection, I had a few boxes stuck on the landing pad but couldn't pick them up at all. It looks like they auto-stacked. Also the highlighting of the boxes sometimes is off.
Other than that, quite neat. Sounds effects would be next ;)
Interesting idea! Like others said, it's really really overwhelming at the beginning. There'd need to be a smaller range at the beginning, and maybe even tutorials gradually adding new features (unlocking other lifts, etc.) Quite well done for 48 hours, good job!
Very neat :)
Love the design of the missions, esp. the last one. This feels like it could be enhanced with more missions, and protection bonus/penalty, depending on the number of houses or other things you protect or fail to do so.
Well done :)
Nice little game.
Nothing groundbreaking, but a solid maze runner. You got the timing perfectly for the 4 levels. I was always down to a few seconds.
I only saw the theme appear in the last stage, never saw the closing in wall on the first three.
Sound!
Interesting idea, but the controls didn't really work well here. The movement felt like being on ice, and also didn't seem to reset once you bounce into a wall. That led to a few deaths were I basically stuck to a wall. The concept however is really good.
Sensitive :)
With a few little extras. Great idea. The difficulty jump is jarring! Maybe on the later levels removed unneeded long corridors. The goal should be solving the puzzles. Well done!
The last Escape back to the menu didn't seem to do anything, so I had to Alt-F4 out of the game.
Very good idea and solid presentation! :)
The putting part is a bit weird, but mostly does what I want it to. Really a great entry!
Love the game over message ;)
Starts up nice, but when playing it feels unfinished. There were only grey thoughts at the start, newer ones didn't come in.
Also, the instructions mention score, but there's no score display at all. Once all thoughts are either dismissed or digested, the game doesn't seem to end.
Same problem as the others, I see a window with an image for a split seconds and it's gone.
First off, congrats for finishing an entry! Nice little game, not too hard. I for one wish the cart would be a bit lower so you have a bit more time to see what you're running towards. Also the item count seems to vary, but I couldn't grasp on what it depends. Is the item image size an indication?
That one's really awesome. The music rocks! What did you use to compose the music? Really well done, only niggle is the controls, they are obviously delayed to match the tile movement, and thus feel a bit late sometimes.
Totally Stephen's Sausage Roll vibe :)
Really well made. The first few deliveries were hectic, but then things seemed to slow down and I could simply fill up one truck after the other without placing goods in the middle. Aww, and no sounds. A nice little wrrrrr! for the fork lift ;)
Nice idea :)
The intro is painfully slow and unskippable! The game itself is a click fest, but boy, your "friends" are really typing fast. It would be nice to have a shorter time for a first stage. As it is now you have to keep clicking fast for three minutes, which is quite tiresome. Other then that, very polished, good music and sound effects. Well done!
Not bad actually :)
The increasing price is the perfect measure to stop me spamming black holes. Managed to beat level 1, but then it was game over. Quite a nice game!
Lubberly :) You really get the feeling of getting overwhelmed soon. Poor Shredder-Boy! The controls irk me, it's annoying getting stuck at the edge of a wall. And please, let me run :)
The stacking is well made, took me a few minutes until I got it that you can also stack the trash bins.
Actually a really nice idea! But damn, it's very hard right from the beginning. I was slowly approaching enemies and shooting them from a safe distance. Just when I managed to collect a few energy pods the station was attacked and destroyed :)
Make it a bit easier for starters and also, sounds! Could get quite a interesting game.
Nifty little game :)
A lot of care has been put in the menus, looking very polished. The game itself plays fine, but it get's kinda boring after a while, because nothing changes. Spamming the button and turning left/right is all to do. Jump doesn't seem to have much use. Like others said, a bit more variation (jumping enemies? invincible enemy that must be avoided?) that requires the player to actually jump would probably make it more interesting. Still, well done!
Cool idea! It does start like a puzzle game but the range enemies seem pretty random. If they're not predictable the puzzliness suffers :)
And, awww, no Kaboom! sounds.
Really nice. Some stages are really a close call. An alternative key to space would be good, as my keyboard won't let me press two cursor keys plus space. And it's really mean to have to do it all over again, when you die :)
Solid little game!
Old puzzle game in 3d costume :)
Not bad, albeit it feels a bit buggy. The restart message sometimes doesn't show up, but other than that it's fine.
Sounds would help a lot :)
Ambitious big map :) Which is also a problem, as I got lost during searching for the enemy. I found him and killed him, the darkness retreated but nothing happened then. Is that basically the end?
What you really need to add is some kind of mini map. Once you're out at the edge you have almost no idea where the village is.
Download and game works fine here. Somehow I miss the challenge. You keep dragging until all items are at the target, but there's not much that can go wrong. Nice music!
Nifty game! Looks great, and plays quite good. I wish for a way to replenish health. Also, during the "next round" button display you can still run around an repair the ship :)
The idea sounds nice, but in its current state a few things seem lacking. For now it's, as you said, purely random. There's no challenge whatsoever. You'd need for example a lot more shelves to choose from, and need maybe something to find out the type of book which takes a bit longer. Currently I'd simply hover the mouse over all books, and then pick the good ones first.
The presentation is ace, just the game needs a bit more added on.
The DOS vibe is working great :)
Quite a nifty entry, albeit majorly confusing with lots of sprites going on. It's really hard to tell things apart when it's getting hectic. What worked really well, going below the center and shoot all incoming enemies. Never had any trouble with running out of space :)
Lovely idea :) I like the art. The gameplay starts out quite slow, but once more dogs come in things start flowing. However I was not sure if there was an ultimate goal to work towards, I just built more and more of everything.
Nice game :)
Not the best fit for the theme, but a solid experience all around. Intro, Outro and good controls. Only downsides have been mentioned, the leaps of faith are somewhat nasty. Unless that's what you're aiming at ;)
Solid game! Nothing groundbreaking innovative, but properly made. Levels are fair. Those stages with double/triple blocks are rather easy to navigate, so I liked that one square stage, where the course was not as clear :)
Well done!
Plays good in Edge as well. What I take from other comments, the controls are somewhat clunky. The second level is really really tough. Graphics are great, sounds effects are a good match as well.
Nice game, there seems to be a bug though (Web didn't run in Edge, so I used the Windows version). It kept showing this in the console window: ERROR: get_global_transform: Condition ' !is_inside_tree() ' is true. returned: get_transform() At: scene/2d/canvas_item.cpp:369
Also, when you're firing wildly suddenly you can't shoot anymore at all.
Other than that, very neat graphics and also music and fx :)
Great little game! I love the different models of the ships.
At times the collision didn't seem to work and my shots flew right through an enemy. Does the red area actually damage ships? It seemed I was unaffected as were the enemies sitting inside and shooting at me.
Other than those really nice :)
Really nice game :)
I love the approach with the sound effects. Once I figured out you're not punished for wild clicking it was a clickfest par excellance. All comes togehter very nicely.
Great job!
Quite nice :)
Took a few tries to figure out that I have to place the files in the complete upper left corner, not starting with the not-yet-turned-blocks. Other than that, well done.
I think I cannot fairly vote anything gameplay related, as you need two players to properly give it a go. The units look very nice!
Neat. Starts out easy but then ramps up quickly.
Nice one, but the later levels are a bit hard when you have to redo them over and over again. Some undo might be a good idea.
A nifty text adventure :)
And of course I got stuck right at the telescope part (or, really, on the pick-up-space part). I then looked at the solution (boo, hiss) but somehow managed to botch things up. There was no space on the debris field, so I couldn't fix the airship. Also, the basket somehow followed me to the gym. I loved the bit, where the car used the spot I took the space from ;)
Very nice. Nothing groundbreaking innovative, but well presented. The music is a nice touch. The controls feel a bit too floaty for my taste.
It's kinda difficult and it feels esp. random. Either you're lucky and there's only a few enemies or you're dead meat. Maybe make the first few floors a tad easier, and also slower to shrink would help.
Chain Reaction :)
Overall I cannot vote fairly on Fun, since as single player it's no fun at all. The speed could be a bit faster, it feels really slow.
Also, is there a win condition? I got rid of all atoms of one player but he could just continue on an empty spot. Filling up the entire field would take ages.
That, and sound would go a long way :)
This is awesome!
Making the ingredients add 1 jump to the burger is a great idea. Plus I love the microwave as respawn point. There were a few places where a part of the burger was hanging off a platform, that's where the restart came in handy. A nice touch is when you lose an ingredient, you also lose its jump power ;)
Well done!
This is great! A really good story holding the game together, plays good and is funny.
Well done! #JuniorIsOk ;)
The idea sounds interesting, too bad you didn't get more done than that. I made it to the congrats screen! ;)
Can't vote most points fairly though.
You need to put up a little bit of explanation. So far it works mostly fine, albeit a bit sluggish (web, yay)
It feels a bit buggy; I could refill the generator once, but then the next refill is not possible. A refill info appears on the valve and I can't get anymore gas. How do I shelter against the rain?
It's an interesting approach, would love to see it smoother and the gameplay fleshed out!
Now that's a completely different game than most.
Intriguing. I chose to forget about Sesame and try to be a good king. Unfortunately that doesn't count anything :)
It's tough to verify what the actions actually amount to. Later on the current values scroll off the screen. It'd be nice to see how much you gain of something when you choose your action.
Very nice :)
I tried to kill the plant by cutting above the roots but only got lots of points from it :)
Really neat! Only thing, find a different sound effect for the flower collecting ;)
That's a real interesting idea, which you don't see often.
Of course my reactor melted a few times before I decided to shut if off first. Then it's quite simple, turn on all pumps to the max, and raise the reactor core step by step. Check the temperature whether it stays stable. And then it's off to winners land :)
This really needs a background humming sound! Well done!
Really good game! And boy, am I confused fast :) But still, I won! Very nice that you only set back the player one level, and not at the very beginning. Keeps the frustration low.
It's just missing some nice music.
This is sooo awesome! Absolutely stunning! Great music, great gameplay!
Just one thing, is there actually any way the others can catch the ball in the middle top or bottom? This spots seemed totally safe everytime.
Other than that, potential winner of this compo!
For 48hours this is really really good!
And even a first 3d game, sounds almost unbelievable ;) I did it on my second attempt. Controls are mostly good, only problem I have is with the hard brake. It feels I always turn way more after braking making me miss my intended goal. But it's really satisfying hitting a whole row of them (combo x10 was my best)
Well done!
Really well done!
Quite a lot of stages, but I had to give up on the big steel block with the small tunnel underneath. There's no chance for me to click that fast. Also, several times I clicked outside the window which usually means death. The restart should be something easier, I had to click way more than 3 times, esp. when I had a block on the cursor.
But other than that, really good; and also quite hard!
Nice challenge :)
I could delivery fish to the goal and made it to stage 3. I delivered two fish to the goal but could not go on? Is one fish not actually enough?
Other than that, solid presentation. I also found it irritating, that the robot would look at be instead of the other way ;)
A breakout clone!
I'm partial on this. On one side it's a very solid and polished game, technically excellent. On the other hand I don't like the floaty paddle movement, and the fish eye effect, while technically impressive, is highly distracting to the actual game play :)
Also, 100MB ?!?
Still, well done!
Nice idea, and sounds and feels good.
However I had a few problems with the physics. Esp. when the cat gets stuck in a trash can it's hard to get her out again. Obviously I wasn't the only one trying to keep a platform dragging with me ;)
It's a bit too fast for my taste, you probably adjusted it to your experience :)
Nice sound effects :)
Of course also had that annoying warning, but it's clean. Enough downloads and it should be gone. What I find strange is the shots, that are affected by gravity. You have to jump above the enemies to hit them properly. I survived for a bit before I died.
A health or progress indicator would help. When I wake up, did I lose or win? :)
Nice game!
The controls are probably kinda annoying by design :) I always fly in the wrong direction first. I chose to stay in the middle and shoot at the cats (it's cats on parachutes, definetively!)
I saved 3 ships! A ending message would be nice, when you reach the right side.
Very atmospheric start, and the lighting looks mighty fine.
It's a shame that the outside can't keep up, but it's only 48 hours after all. The movement is really annoyingly slow, that would be one of the first things to change. And what you said, more variety outside, enemies, etc. Could be a nice little game, Blaz-B!
@Solweak: Oops, now that's a bug. Saved you a lot of annoyance though, so let's call it a feature then ;)
The "hidden" editor: Click to the left of the quit button (there would be two buttons between play and quit). There's the editor with almost usable details.
And all others, thanks for the feedback!
Very neat, especially the mood is awesome :)
A bit very short, but still nice. Superb!
Really good game! I was soo close at the 5th stage. Quite a nice engine, I like that you can push other items with the grabbed one ;)
Well done!
Really nice!
Finished the game in the second attempt. Boy, the boss does take quite a load of bullets. Maybe too much :)
First thing, add sounds. They do make such a difference!
Plays good, not too hard, and looks also really good. Well done!
To be honest, not much of a game, but technically quite good. I did get stuck in the small corridor on the top left though and had to restart.
The music makes the atmosphere nice and gloomy, I love the NPC designs and the story could get interesting. So there is nothing to the end message, where it says to talk to all NPCs?
Other than that, quite well done!
Boy, the levels are huge! Easily protected Don Meowth, but the second level is hard. I chose to clean the stage and then move my protectee. However in the second stage there's a part where I can't go back to the start. And then I got killed :)
Anyway, solid game, quite big for the time used. I love how you can push or even stand on enemies ;)
Hey, not bad! You've got the spooky feeling down alright :) Obviously the house feels a bit empty (and there's no door! :) )
Well done!
The link is borked, please check!
Great game! Thanks for making a .exe to run it, I want to keep my PC Java free ;)
The first platforming part is unforgivingly hard, it took me a few tries to get by. But then I managed to feed all boss kittens. It needs sound effects badly, music would be a plus too.
The level design is top notch, just that first part...
The main menu looks as if it was clickable, but it isn't :)
Well done!
That's great! :)
I gave up after 8 attempts, only making it to 29 days once. It's quite hard, esp. as the choices are not always the same on a replay.
Really well done, only thing missing is some sound.
Link works!
A nice idea :) But the controls feel a bit nuff. For one, I didn't get any mouse cursor (as shown in your video), and dragging feels like it's loosing the dragged item all the time.
Still, pretty solid entry for the short time, with neat music as well! Good job!
@Rakowu: Yes, the light was there :) I was just wondering, in your video the mouse cursor is clearly showing. It's completely playable as is.
Wow, that's awesome!
After learning that the drones power is shown on its top it was clearer. Gathering minerals drains your power. Nasty: The higher the mineral count is the faster is it drains! Which helps keeping play time down, but also kills you way faster!
Still, looking great and plays pretty well!
A nice little game. Most obvious problems are the controls, you need the mouse, one hand on the keys 1-3 and one hand for the cursor keys :) It brings a bit of strategy to change between weapons. All in all, a solid little game, nothing too innovative, but okish.
Neat game! Quite hard actually. I managed to get down to 80 seconds, but I can't scare off the rabbits enough. I tried to lock them in, but then the rain appeared in the locked area ;)
Really nicely done!
A really fun idea! Unfortunately the controls are cumbersome; also, when I finish it doesn't register. So obviously I did something wrong, but I have no idea, what. Also, what settings did you use? This already feels sluggish in the first stage, which shouldn't tax any PC made in the last 20 years.
A hint regarding what's wrong would be a real head start too ;)
This has potential though.
Really nice! :)
I love the look of the characters, PETSCII-like! The music during the fight gets annoying pretty fast though :) I made it up to the demon prince who beat me to a pulp. I like that different approaches are required.
Overall really well done!
Nice idea, but seems a few things missing.
Is there a way to lose? Also, same bug as M8rix mentioned, sometimes the people didn't accept my delivery. The counters always stayed at 50 (only flickering 49 for a split second).
That looks really nice! :)
The music is also great. The controls are a bit iffy, and as others noted, a display on the remaining flight power would help tremendously.
Also, there is a long pause on Game Over and the title that I can't skip. And the crows are really mean higher up.
Other than that, very neat and polished entry!
Neat idea :)
It feels like a bar simulator of sorts. The movement is iffy, it feels like ice skating :) Also, whenever I tried to give the second drink to a customer he wouldn't accept it at all. When the drink icon goes red it's kinda hard to tell what drink he exactly wanted.
But that has definetively potential. Add food preparation and perfect the chaos! :)
Not bad! Music, intro, sound.
But damn, it's hard. You really need to update the hit boxes. It feels like the small enemies hit box is the same as for the big ones. I made the middle end, but never managed to kill all or spare all.
I had to cheat to see "The Truth!" ;)
Can't vote fairly for most points. However I'm glad you still uploaded the result.
Very ambitious, and it's a shame you couldn't get further. Is the path of the road predefined? I couldn't chose very much and they stopped continuing the road on a corner of the river.
I love the look of this! And the humour :) Just great!
The thing with the controls is: You're getting the keyboards initial press delay, plus you can't use two controls at the same time (like move and shoot). So if you want to get to the other side fast, you have to push A or D, release it and push it again to get moving right away.
Other than that, it needs sound :)
Well done!
Very nice, but getting chaotic later on. I managed to reach level 16. By level 15 the cough sounds mute the music :)
Also, you should confine the mouse to the window. I clicked outside several times shifting the focus to a different program. Other than that, pretty polished and good to play!
Really nice, but rock hard!
I ran out of money fast, and once there you can't purify the blight away anymore. A good, solid foundation, well done!
Same as @Vivoubos. How do we start this game? It is allowed to provide a new upload so people can actually test and rate your game.
Link is 404, probably what @kent-reese said.
This is a weird one :) I want to like it but it feels so confusing! I love the look and also when I survive more than 3 rooms. But it seems you run out of bullets at once (one bullet at the start?), also repair parts are hard to come by.
Obviously balancing takes time, so for 48 hours this is really great!
Even if it's only a sneak peek, getting feedback is a great chance to improve. Please add the links.
Interesting idea, and looks very intriguing at the start. In the end it boils down to clicking the three buttons in the correct order :)
I won!
Good little game! And quite hard I must say. Overall the controls feel a bit too floaty for my taste. Still made it to the end :)
Well done!
Wow! First I thought it was boring, but you managed to keep me on my toes. Getting the click for the long paddle every now and then helps a lot!
If the hall of fame is global, I'm 7th ;)
Really well done, solid, polished, feels just right.
Interesting story. Is there only that one end where you lose? Or do the stats of the customers actually matter?
During the last round the player is really annoyingly slow :)
Very nice game!
Solid looks, music and gameplay. I'm not a fan of too floaty movement, but it kinda works. Also good idea with the hidden things. Of course I had to collect everything and so Granny got a trip to Mexico ;)
Quite a nice little game, captivated me more than I would have thought.
The control choice is a bit weird, Enter for the shop or me accidentally placing new fences under the shop window. You can't sell/remove fences unless the foxes (zombies?) bite them to pieces.
It's really well done. More variety in the enemies and a proper goal to achieve would help a lot (I played up to the 10th night) Well done!
Plays really good! The enemies spawn a bit too fast, there's no time to grab new missiles. Is there an ending? If not, a score would be great, or a timer :)
Other than that, well done, and a polished entry!
Works fine, but the duck feels a bit slow. Esp. later on, when lots of humans come in, you don't stand a chance.
My egg got smashed :( But the timer went on, and even got negative. Is there no lose situation/screen?
Other than that, nice little game!
Really nice! And that you actually coupled the FPS of the game with the story!
Neat music as well. I managed to keep it up for 212.42 seconds, 519 bugs smashed.
Well done!
Not bad for 24 hours! For those wondering, the description of the controls is wrong (at least it was for me). Keep right button pressed to aim, and press left to shoot.
I was hoping you could also steer the car and ram others :) Plus the obvious required restart option!
Not bad, quite tricky after stage 3. Unfortunately it also gets a bit tedious later on :)
Neat! The changes keep the interest up. What I don't like is the floaty feel to the controls. I often run off a platform edge when I intend to jump; and I'm pretty sure I did press space in time.
Anyhow, I escaped! :)
I, too, have been convinced! And so can you! :)
Nice idea, but unfortunately there's not too many options to choose from. Any way to max out the other way?
Really nice game!
But, boy, there is a looot of trial and error required ;) Nailed the theme very well. Next step, sounds!
With the emulator package you can run the batch file to start the game in it. The controls should be cursor keys and right control key.
Yeah, the switch mechanic is somewhat hit or miss. There are rules, but they are not clear. Also, the target direction depends on the source direction :) Basically, trolleys go straight, if they can. If they can't they turn right. Overriding the switch changes the direction (going right instead of straight for +, or going left instead of right for T crossings)
Of course I know Donald Duck's Playground, a great game :) I could try to change it to that, interesting idea. Thanks for the feedback!
I feared as much, it's not too accessible without knowing a bit about the machine. I hope to provide a web version later.
There are sound effects, yes. With VICE, simply dragging the .prg file on top should suffice. Although the joystick needs to be mapped :)
Updated, web version is now online! Controls are:
Cursor keys in numpad for moving, Insert in numpad for fire.
@vivoubos: Yeah, you have to keep the button pressed (no blinking) until the trolley passed. It's no retro style if it's a real C64 game :)
Sorry, the keymap is unfortunately hard coded in that emulator package. You could press F12 though and configure a different keyset manually.
Really nice :)
I had some hard times as long as I tried to keep the whole circle out of the red stuff, which isn't really necessary.
The sizing is off though, in the level selection the left most and right most stage button are cut off. I guess "Wat..." is the last stage?
Tell your girlfriend this is a app for a PC :P
Brilliant! You had me laughing there several times! :)
The antivirus is using heuristics and wrong. The file is fine (I did have the warning as well) It's a fine little game! I got a vacation, a nice repair sum and a divorce coming up :D
same as fumybulb: I start the game, music plays and the background cloud floats by, but nothing shows.
Got Windows 10, also, the empty folder is there, so there must be something else. I'd have suspected blanks in paths, but even when copying the game folder to a path without it won't show any stages.
Changing to english doesn't change anything. With Process Monitor I see attempted access to some .resG or .res files that are not there. Could that be the issue? (Alice_Data\sharedassets0.assets.resG, Alice_Data\sharedassets0.assets.res, Alice_Data\level1.resG, Alice_Data\level1.res, Alice_Data\level1.resS)
The game is so so, but the art is awesome! :) A shame there's no matching sound!
Nifty! As others said, the 1 2 3 button one I couldn't solve. I think I even tried all combinations. Anyhow, guessed the last number and made it to the door :)
Cool!
Sorry, no Java runtime allowed on my PC.
Neat idea, very polished entry. But boy, the controls are doing me in! :)
All the time I keep rolling the bomb too fast so it misses the eviction shaft.
It feels as if the gravity is changing to the right (you can't fly up as easy as in the left part). Also, the force of the jets not linear? My instinct tells me keeping left or right pressed should give me more force, but it feels like there's a cap.
Argghh, I should've listened and written down the code :)
On the second run I finished it. Would be neat to repeat the code at the door. Anyhow, nice game! Also, extra kudos for the easter egg ;)
The idea is nice, but just when it really gets going there's no more levels :(
What's AST?
Add a link to your file, we can't rate/vote anything
Very well done! And quite a few stages actually. I didn't fully grasp the respawn concept, and the last jump in the last stage took me a few tries :)
Very nice :) Will he ever escape the loop? The gameplay seems somewhat luck based. You either keep moving in a direction and shoot every alien, or you're swamped by a horde and have to run through them. Latter usually means death.
Nice, tough as nails and a lot of screens. Thank you for adding checkpoints!
I had the red box fly off through the ceiling on some occasions. Helped me a lot :D
Please check if you set your itch.io project to public, we can't open the link!
Hard to make anything of it. I created a few fake news, dropped them on some people, but nothing ever changed? The idea is a good one though! And the music is also a nice fit!
A bit more explanation is needed here. Also, when you drag the profiles below the bar you can't drag them up again ;)
Wow, great writing! A few typos here and there, but quite well handled.
I'm not native english as well :)
It's really not many: Prisonner (only one n) 7.8 billions of intelligent beings (move s from intelligents to being) And then we splitted (should be split I think)
The - between silicum and based seems to be outside the used font, it's tiny.
That's all I could find ;)
That music! ;)
Fortunately the game is pretty short, so the music is a great gag, and doesn't get too grating. I made it in the last second (timer was 0!)
Really nice! It'd be probably nicer when you just control the player without the tilting.
Hey, nice! And some pretty tough as nails challenges!
I didn't hear any music at all?
Really nice :)
Happy endless loop of useless work life. Well done!
It's a promising start but there's too much missing for it to be a game or a challenge. Sounds! Other car moving! Lot's of possibilities.
But the theme is nailed, I'm stuck in a loop ;)
I can't vote fairly for most things, because I simply can't jump over the first obstacle.
Nice idea! And getting feeling stuck in a loop pretty fast :) It direly needs sounds of the family, groans of disdain, etc.
I tried to escape through the door ;)
Neat! I'm absolutely useless at reading notes though, so it's try and error for me ;)
As others said, a slight pause after hitting the wrong key, and maybe a display which stages were completed would help alot.
Cool! :) Really good one, although round 2 of the circle game is mean!
Clever game!
Interesting idea! The levels are too samey though, but it's enough to bring the concept through.
I guess "Victory!" is the end? Sound would be the next big step.
Wow, really, really good! :)
And clever use of the theme as well. Only missing a bit of sound. Well done!
Nifty! I made it to the main game, and it was brilliant ;)
Great take on the theme!
Very nice, and seriously polished! Only thing that irks me, slow walk speed, distance guessing and also the wipe out effect. All these make this game feel slow. Since you need a lot of trial and error, you should make it fast to retry.
But other than that it's a solid game!
Even with all the explanation I couldn't figure it out :) My guess is you're combing colors in a direction around the loop (counter clock wise?). I managed to beat the first four stages, but then I got stuck in level 5. I tried all combinations but none of them worked? That's however pretty fitting the theme :D
Cool, a rogue like :)
The enemies get pretty tough later on. That requires planning about how to visit the vases. Good stuff!
Ohhh boy, 128 MB for a slugfest. You should not set details to full high. How this simple graphics can run with 3 FPS is incredible. Isn't there some export to allow for lower details?
I have a controller, but due to the lag I can't really play it. So I refrain from voting.
A good idea for next time: Support an alternative controlling method that's available to everyone.
Sorry, that came down as pretty negative. The music is nice though :)
I've got an office PC, so the hardware is really not the fastest. But the scene looks so simple, it really shouldn't lag that hard; unless you go overboard with shaders, shadow complexity, etc. It's a NVidia Quadro K420.
I remember from older UE games, they had an option to use simpler shaders that were easier on the GPU.
Nice :) The piano music is getting aggravating pretty fast, but everything else is fine. I went into the house right at the start and got stuck. The concept is great! I hoped for a hidden part to the right of the tree, and lo and behold, I found the edge of the world!
As typeswitch said, don't forget to set the project to "public"!
Can't vote fairly, I just get a "something happened" message when trying "new+"
Ok, got it working now. First off, the account thing was a really bad idea.
Beat two stages so far, and got killed by a broken capsule once. It's actually a nice idea! Sound would be the next thing required ;)
Very neat concept! A shame it's so short, you could make quite some game from this idea. Plus the obviously required polish that can't be done in 48h :)
Not bad! Took me a while to figure out that you have to run off the right end to beat a level. The controls feel a bit too floaty, and sometimes you get stuck in corners. Other than that quite nice, and hard :)
Ah, so it's only 3 blocks you have to deliver. Phew! The music is getting annoying really fast :)
The blur makes the game unplayable on my machine, thanks for adding the "Fast" mode!
Nice little game! I made it without using any dash. The sound effects are overall a bit too loud. Also, I didn't really see where the theme comes in.
Actually quite nice! There's a bug with pickups reappearing (I had 6 keys at the end?), the gold helmet, jump shoes.
Very nice little game. Getting a bit tedious later on, but still made 182 points.
Very nice! The looks are awesome and provide a great atmosphere. For some reason full screen is lagging like hell, whereas in a window it runs fine. Not your fault though.
Well done!
Wow, a great game! First I was confused, it'd need a bit of instructions up front. Once down I solved all but two stages. You have to think of something regarding the counting. Counting by mouse is irritating ;)
Well done!
Aaaww, poor Vacuumba! :(
Very nice! Ooh boy, at the end I was scared that it sent me off to the start again :)
How could you do a mine cart game without mine card sounds! ;)
Wayyyy too dark, both web and downloadable version. Also, even on low settings it's pretty sluggish.
The monster is a neat surprise, but with the slow movement I can't even escape after craftin the axe. The atmosphere is great!
Pretty good! But for me the description of the controls was wrong, it's SPACE to hover/make a platform, not 'H'. Took me a while to figure that out :)
Very nice game!
Not bad :)
As @ale said though, the controls are confusing. Also, sometimes you can scrape by the wall, sometimes you get stuck. It's as if it's not entirely 45 degree partitions.
Also, there 's no challenge at all, like a timer or enemies.
Sound would be the next big step!
Really cute :) And it's obvious the sound and music was self made :) After getting the cute ending I had to get the bad ending es well.
There's no link or any info at all. If you didn't finish, still put up what you have. Every chance your feedback counts! ;)
I had to give up in the rotating light room unfortunately, as I couldn't figure it out :) Also, did I cheat? In the button puzzle room I set the laser to a single one on the bottom and then just ran over it to the door.
This oozes mood, and it's gripping. The maze was borderline annoying (although I did make it on my 2nd attempt).
Great job overall!
Really well made. The mood is gloomy, I still managed to get lost though :) It takes a bit too long for the first grapple-able bit to appear, I thought it maybe didn't work.
This needs a nice ambient background wind blowing, etc.
The music is so not my kind, but kudos for making that in the allotted time! First I thought yet another boring mouse aim shooter, but you added nice twists. Good one!
Pretty tough game :) I gave up in stage 8. I get 3 of them into school, but the last one keeps evading.
I'll rate once it's working. Edit: aaaand it's rated.
What a neat concept! As a game it's not doing much, just picking out people at the start. Then it gets really really laggy, until the first few survivors die.
As others said, you do have a few tasks going on, a live blog would be interesting, since you can't do much else.
Opera Girl stumbled over a shell and broke her neck. Kid got a heart attack as his mobile died.
Made it 13 days!
A cool idea :) Also, really, selling off the boxes to upgrade, grand idea!
I went into the shop with no box and couldn't get out of the shop menu anymore?
That's panic there alright :) The survival part at the end is tough, and did me in. At a certain point I respawned there and always fell off right from the checkpoint. I think the best I could do was 48 seconds left to go.
The tilt effect is great!
I do like programming games, but this is assuming too much knowledge from neural networks methinks. I did manage to pass level 1 with a little help though ;)
Unfortunately my graphic card doesn't support the required Vulkan version
This is just as good as it may get for a compo :)
Awesome just all over!
Looks decent and interesting, but I'm not signing up all over the internet.
@mickey-sanchez: Yeah, I was thinking about showing sort of a pulse flying upwards, but that would've cost me one sprite out of 8. So I decided against it, and instead the whole column above the player is affected.
Rush Hour with River Dance :) Nice, but a bit too slow to move for my taste. Also, it would help if you could see the groups without holding the button. The stages do repeat after a while?
Still, well done, but not without flaws.
Hot damn, this game is confusing! I'm starting to get how things work, but I'm still stuck in stage 6 (I think it's 6). The one where there's a hole , a item pickup block and you start below, but can't do anything. I was trying to figure out whether I could move an item from a screen below upwards.
Nice implementation of Sokoban. With the enclosing forcefields you make sure levels are not getting repetitive nor too stretched out :) The music gets annoying fast, but OTOH you have music! Nice job!
Sorry, no linux desktop available here. Which distro/architecture btw?
14600 only :)
First I was just clicking to get my patterns, but once the field is nearly full you start thinking. You might want to add an automatic end check, with no bombs and no empty slots and no matching patterns there's clearly game over.
Neat game!
Ended with too much crime after a measly 268 seconds. Really not bad for doing it all yourself. The camera movement feels quite laggy on my PC, other things worked smoothly.
Very nice! Simple, clear goal, and good gameplay. Well done :)
215 points!
Nice little game :) Might want to add that the invalid ways to place a word are not actually used.
That gets quite hectic once the asteroids start turning into runes :) Maybe have the dialog display fully on the first click? I think I skipped some parts of it by wanting it to speed up.
This seems very ambitious! Albeit it's also kind of unfinished. I like the idea of properly finding the items to get strong enough to take on the bigger enemies. Arranging the items is a bit buggy though (or at least it seems to be), sometimes pieces vanish when dragging/dropping them inside.
This could get quite fun with some polish and adding on the missing parts (does crafting do anything?)
I'll return to rate properly once it's activated. Edit: Returned and rated
Damn good! At first of course I didn't read instructions and didn't remember Tab :) Without the game is rather repetitive ;)
Finally saw the expected end. Really great atmosphere!
Similar to what woona said, I was trying to modify one of the commands hoping for a different outcome. But nevertheless, good work!
Tough as nails! I got to the stage with the yellow/red key blocks on the botton with the green key behind it. I manage to get one or two keys, but then I'm done for.
Nifty idea, and clever use of the theme ;)
Not half bad! I see this getting frantic pretty fast, esp. when you're only getting tomatoes but all customers want cucumbers. Arghh :)
As others noted, the collision bugs are tad annoying, but they also never blocked me from going onwards. Just needs a little picture of the boss getting angrier :)
Very nice! Funny idea to boot as well :)
The main menu animation takes to long when I want to restart the game :)
And I miss purring on successful sit fits.
Grand humorous take :) Not really something to do with the theme, but who cares. It's fun, and with a little help from the comments I made it to the last form. Really well done!
Very nice game! Due to the moving speed it gets kind of tedious later on. You basically move an action block one tile, press button, wait, repeat. I gave up on level 5, since it takes so long to test out new constellations. Let the player speed that up.
The presentation is smooth, and looks polished. The rotate effect is neat!
But generally Godot 2d games seem to play pretty sluggish on my machine (which is not very strong, but still, it's a plain simple 2d game, nothing taxing). Not your fault though.
Well done!
Nifty Tower Defense variant. I could stand the enemy hordes quite easily up to level 20, but got overrun on level 30, since I put all in archer damage.
This thing is really tough on my PC, the fans started furiously spinning right away. You might want to check that, it doesn't look that graphically complicated :)
Obvious next step, sounds!
Well done!
Damn, that's hell alright! I wish those shit parking people would have to do that for a day before they get their driving license back. I gave up in Level 5 (I think), I got stuck two times at the bottom row.
Will return to rate! Edit: Veni, vidi, rated!
What an experience! This was a really clever game. Limiting the command length was genius :) Would the monster ever break through?
Fun game! Decent and not overly hard :) Not that fitting for the theme methinks, but the theme was crap any way. Good job!
It won't start, it's looking for a libgcc_s_seh-1.dll and libstdc++-6.dll
Interesting concept :) Getting quite tough. And filling the schedule is a tad tedious. Also, you might want to add sub titles to the complaints, they are a bit hard to make out.
Still, very well made, and fitting music/sfx!
Oh no, I'm soft locked!
Standard puzzle game, but with a lot of FMVs in between. Kind of like an American handegg game. While I love that kind of puzzle games, the videos are pretty much funny only once :) Maybe I overheard it, but you might want to explain that E is used to rotate pieces, which is required in later stages.
Will return to rate later! Edit: I returned! I willed! And I latered!
I think I cannot fairly rate it. It's really slow (which does help with annoying jumps), but I can't solve the 2nd level already.
The idea is awesome, esp. when you see the mirrored part in the 2nd level. I couldn't get to the pre-set thingamajig, or above the gap. I tried using my mirrored self as jump off, but that didn't make the jump either (could be due to the slow movements?)
Thanks for the solution. That's pretty much what I tried to do (jumping off your mirrored self), but my player didn't jump high enough to enter the small gap at the top.
> 500 MB to what boils down to a choice of 1/5 and then just a text story? Is there more to it?
The idea sounds interesting, but I've expected a game after my choice :)
Good idea! It needs a bit of moody sounds, music :)
I couldn't get the game to start, the "Next Wave" button didn't do anything?
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I'm still stuck. I click "Next Wave", basically nothing happens, I click on one of the three exits (holes), and then a tile beside it, but nothing seems to happen. What @surune said, maybe a short description on how to do the first turn would help. I'd love to check this out.
Thanks for the video! There must be something broken in the embedded version, and maybe generally with the controls. Clicking on "Next Wave" simply does nothing in embedded mode. In full screen mode the lower right quarter of the "Next Wave" button actually did its job and the round started. I could select a hole, and again I'm stuck when trying to move the enemy. Funny thing is the mouse over effect (heart) does show properly at the expected coordinates, but I can't make the enemy move at all.
Great little game :) Especially the second part took me a few tries. And thank you big time for only setting me back to the top!
Well done! I think the game is won once you escape off the screen outside.
Proudly java-free here, sorry, can't run it.
The hardest challenge here's that you did use nearly the WASD keys, but not in their usual ordering. That makes it incredibly hard to get to grips with it :)
Also, you seem to have a different orientation of the probe than I have in regards to where up/down is :)
The 2nd stage is just killing me! :)
Unfortunately my graphics card can't do Vulkan good enough, and the opengl3 renderer bails out with an error:
Godot Engine v4.1.1.stable.mono.official.bd6af8e0e - https://godotengine.org OpenGL API 3.3.0 NVIDIA 353.62 - Compatibility - Using Device: NVIDIA - Quadro K420
ERROR: .NET: Failed to load hostfxr at: (modules/mono/mono_gd/gd_mono.cpp:388)
Nice game! Not groundbreaking new, but adding that smart twist is good :) Managed to complete them all.
Unfortunately for some reason I can't rate at all, I'll return once I can. Edit: Returned and rated
Holy damn! Impressive! :) >25. Congratulations! You've completed all the levels!<
Is there only one solution for the final?
Also, will rate properly once it properly works. Edit: Returned and rated!
I can't fairly rate this, since you kept all the heavy settings active it's a lag fest on my PC. Good idea for LD, always add a light version, increases the audience.
Interesting. At least in the last stage you get that "locked" part. You should probably explain that a bit somewhere. From what I understood if you're close to coins the scrolling is sort of locked. Which is a really nice idea, that could be fleshed out. Good one! :)
Sorry, no Java on my PC and I'd like to keep it that way. Why do you have three different jars per architecture? Isn't not needing that the sole idea of Java?
I can't fairly vote as the display is horribly broken. The title screen works fine, but in game everything is pitch black, text is having horizontal stripes making it nearly illegible and it's slow as molasses (the latter is probably my rig, but from the screenshots I can't see anything that should overwhelm it that much) Unfortunately there's no setting to lower details.
@tinykidtoo: Windows (10). With an NVidia Quadro K420 (yeah, it still works)
Awesome idea :) But there's no challenge? I kept moving the window about, collected 25 icons but nothing ever changed but new random icons. What are the other 55 MB of the exe file used for? :P
@torcade: (Facepalm) That's what I get for reading only one line per page :) Lovely :) WinAmp gave me bees!
Damn pretty! I don't get the objective though. It says I need 200 for the first level, the display had 206 when it started to fade and I still had to play level 1?
But really impressive music and visuals!
Brilliant :)
The overall atmosphere is great! And there I was thinking it's basically a common puzzle game, but you added a great twist. Grand job!
Fantastic concept! Really nice, and it got a proper list of words. And thank god also names :)
That game could really be fleshed out to something bigger. Well done!
@threeli: The game is simple enough that I didn't run into any memory restraints. My naive collision/update code proved to be quite performance intensive though. You'll probably notice some flickering on the enemies when they're flying at the top or bottom. That's when they're removed, but have not been redrawn in time. With more time I probably would be able to lessen that. Currently the update time (both all enemies and bullet slots active) takes nearly the entire frame to process.
@Avhatar: The C64 only has one fire button, so it's a bit tricky. To shoot, you have to push the joystick in any direction, and while doing that press fire. If you press fire while not moving, you activate the drone control. Releasing the button sets the drone free again.
@8BitCharlie: I've configured the left control key to fire. I have no idea if that maps properly on Mac. The emulator is using SDL beneath, so I think that ought to work.
The other possibility would be to download the .prg file and drag it into your favorite C64 emulator (those exist!) ;)
Lovely idea. At the first few stages I saw no difficulty at all, but after 6th the similarity of humans hit hard. Well done :)
Interesting idea, but also quite some time you need to put in there for a decent deck. I bought an enhanced card, but the computer got it :) Also, I was able to drag the flipped cards about.
The card flying is spot on! It just misses the proper swish sounds.
Nifty game! Cute, simple, love it! Made only 32 points though.
Can't fairly vote. It behaves weird on startup (the window shows up in Task Manager, but I have to Alt-Tab out and in again to get display). I'm then in a room with orbs, can look around, but WASD don't do anything; neither does clicking or space. That sounds like not intended or I'm missing something crucial.
Very nice, relaxing game. A bit sluggish on my rig, but that's web nowadays. I didn't really see the increased size (is it visible?), or what the speed update did. Also there's not much of a challenge, but not everything needs to be. It's a very polished entry, visual and audio matching fine. Well done!
The basic idea sounds interesting. But I am totally confused. When it says "record" is that when it counts a hidden creature? I think I found four. It's quite well prepared, but could maybe nudge the player with a counter or something.
Really great modelling for the given time! Took me a while to understand that you meant to throw things into the cauldron. And it has to be in the order listed.
Gets quite laggy on my trusty old PC, but it's web, so that's to be expected. The ledge around the cauldron is annoying, I kept falling in.
The basic idea is good, but it seems more a game of chance than anything else. If the right items are dropped you're good, and get an extension, otherwise it's game over. The objects could be more unique beside the color :)
Very very ambitious idea :)
It's a shame you couldn't get the power ups working. The idea however sounds really interesting, I'd go ahead and try to finish the game outside LD. And add an AI opponent ;)
