Wow, this is pretty amazing! Looks great and is a load of fun!
Strangely addicting! I found myself really weighing my options when it came down to choosing a planet.
Catchy music and nice visuals.
Wow, this is a really nicely designed and polished game!
A bit simple, but fun to play nonetheless!
This is really creative - exemplifies the theme almost perfectly!
Really neat concept! The captcha was pretty hilarious!
The visual theme and level design are pretty neat!
Nooo! Descending bunny slippers from the heavens!!! I repent!!
I've never seen anybody break the fourth wall like this before, this is really a great concept!
Thanks GreaseMonkey for the Windows port!
This is pretty amazing for a 48-hr game - awesome music, great graphics, and an interesting first-person twist on the scrolling-shooter genre. You should definitely expand this into a full game.
Probably the best interpretation of the theme I've seen so far - awesome presentation too.
I like the environmental descriptions - unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to type the password from the slip into the computer.
Cool aesthetic!
Construct claimed that the game needed to be uploaded to a server to be player, so I just put it in my dropbox: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2727127/Ludum%20Dare/Mime%20Over%20Matter/index.html
Reminds me a bit of Angry Birds with some interesting twists added and a more codified mechanic - pretty cool.
Interesting story and characters, although I couldn't figure out what to do after talking to Andrei.
The controls are amazingly tight and accurate, and graphics are pretty good too. Keep up the good work!
Surprisingly intense for a game that only takes one button to play - I expect to see this on my Android phone!
This would awesome as an Android game (how fitting then that you used LibGDX). Cool music, and the aesthetics work really well - you should definitely expand this post-compo.
Cool menu music - the mechanic reminds me a bit of Evoland.
My favorite so far - awesome visuals, a simple yet interesting concept, and a rhythm-based twist that I really started to "feel" as the game went on. Keep up the good work!
If not a game, its an interesting idea nonetheless. This is pretty cool because I hadn't heard of Moai before - after checking it out, it looks pretty amazing! I definitely want to use it for a future project.
Also, I was able to get a Windows version working: http://db.tt/J4G8fh6E
Awesome music and trippy graphics - although some of the depth seems to be off, which made me a bit dizzy.
Fascinating concept - I like it, but it's a bit too much for my reflexes, lol.
Cool idea - although it seemed like my bridge was invincible for some reason.
I happened to already have CoolBasic installed, so I just went ahead and created a Win32 exe: http://db.tt/Uyd6scU2
Cool idea - that room with all the turrets was absolutely diabolical.
Devilishly simple concept - I like it. The blue orbs were a really good twist, and I think they make the game much fairer.
This would be great as a mobile game!
Pretty nice little game - although I'm terrible at Sokoban, lol.
Cool idea - I don't think I've ever played a game where the platforms are the ones moving.
Surprisingly fun - I would play heck out of this as a mobile game. The minimalist aesthetic is pretty awesome.
Pretty awesome idea. I say this to a lot of LD entries, but this game especially would be awesome on a mobile device.
Really polished, with awesome controls! One of the funnest I've played so far!
Very good presentation! Loved the wacky humor and puzzles - reminded me of old adventure games.
Great presentation! Also Tim is a very silly man.
Interesting abstract way of representing resource gathering. I feel like this game would have been just as apt for the alchemy theme.
Enjoyed the interpretation of old-school fps's. Found the game to be pretty tough though!
Charming pixel art!
So meta!
Impressive that you were able to make a server back-end with such limited time!
Charming sound effects!
Enjoyed the pixel art and enemy design! Kinda wished I had the ability to shoot in directions other than my movement.
Enjoyed the paper-puppet art-style!
Great graphics - my primary gripe was that it's awkward to shoot and move with the same hand.
Great shooting mechanics, and extremely challenging!
The minimalist style is really great - the relaxing tones and soft colors complement each other well. My only grip is that the dragging is a bit finicky/repetitive.
Mood was really great - also amazing that you were able to construct an entire city! One thing is that it was kind of easy to get lost and wander around without direction. Instead of a map at the beginning that people have to memorize, maybe do something like the sword in Shadow of the Colossus, where it shows you the general direction.
What a strange game! Enjoyed it though - puzzles were actually very creative.
Great take on resource management concepts - enjoyed the graphics and humor!
Great pixel art - the gameplay almost feels like a demake of many flight sims.
Cool concept - reminded me a lot of Ikaruga.
Hm. Couldn't figure out how to download the data folder, short of downloading the files one by one. Maybe best to package it as a zip?
Awesome soundtrack, and the ship controls are really fluid!
Loved the fact that objects come with you! Would definitely like to see this expanded further!
Hm, could not figure out how to get to the first floating crystal.
Insane amount of content for so little time!
Presentation is really fantastic - sometimes the randomly generated levels can be difficult to traverse.
Really amazing concept, and great level design too! One of the best games I've seen so far!
Tough game, but great presentation!
Great mood - love the text fade-out effect!
An interesting interactive take on cellular automata!
Good effort, and great music!
Took a while for me to figure the game out, but once I did, I enjoyed the way audio was used for feedback. One thing is that I wish I could stop the beam, because I ended up hitting a lot of stuff accidentally.
Cool swinging mechanic - found it quite challenging.
Nice to see someone participating at a young age!
Interesting idea of controlling two reticule targets - though I wish that I could use WASD for the warp target.
Liked the fact that I could actually see my body in first person! One little issue is that the mouse cursor did not seem to stay locked in the web player.
Pretty fun shooter - one thing is that WASD and Arrows should definitely be swapped (like Binding of Isaac style controls).
Actually enjoyed this a lot - was able to take the essence of many split platformers and boil it down to a single button. This needs to be a mobile game.
Interesting narrative - could use some more instruction on the hacking.
Fascinating interpretation of the theme - one thing is that it can be a bit tedious, with the fact that embedded instances don't save progress.
Cool little game - would be pretty awesome to see this on mobile.
Damn, Mars got me! Enjoyed the relaxing music.
Cool twist, though much easier than Flappy Bird, lol.
Cool mechanic - would love to see an interesting narrative surrounding these characters!
Love the concept of your phone being a view into another world - it would be great to see this expanded into a full game!
Actually an interesting way to twist the typical Angry Bird's - like concept. The gravity visualization is also really cool! Would love to see this as a mobile game.
Found that my ship was moving sluggishly? Either way, its awesome that you were able to integrate a high-score system in the timeframe!
Loved the puzzles in this! Forced me to think ahead regarding every step!
I actually really enjoyed the minimalist art in this.
Not two, but three connected games! Loved the fact that it eases you in one game at a time.
Liked that fact that the music transitioned from world to world.
Seems like an interesting narrative could be made about the two characters - good job!
Nice use of vibrant colors! Found the controls and camera to be a bit awkward, however.
The bullet gravity is actually pretty cool - I found the game hard to visually parse, however.
Clever twist on the traditional plat-former - forcing me to build my levels first!
Interesting concept - found it quite challenging to keep up with all the enemies. Suffice it to say I was not prepared when the triangles came.
Very fun shooter! Also clever way of introducing difficulty select.
Man, so many people trying to attack me, and all I do is deliver packages! Great game, and loved the posh aliens!
Not sure what I just played, but I think I liked it?
Visually and aurally stunning! So much polish, and great gameplay to match!
Cool grappling mechanic - I especially enjoyed the swinging.
Cool twist on the Tower defense genre - when it starts to pick up, its really cool to be forced to juggle between the two tower positions.
Interesting idea - reminds me of the flash game Shift.
This error popped up when I ran it - http://pastebin.com/nnDJsHXe. Possibly due to lack of OpenGL 3?
Clever idea of playing a game in real-time! Would love to see this expanded, maybe it would be a good fit for mobile?
Cool idea - would love to see this expanded, with more things to do in space!
Fun concept - would love to see this as a mobile game.
Great shooting mechanics, and awesome music!
Really liked the visuals and music in this game. However, found the platforming controls to be a bit off.
Reasonable game - not too ambitious, and does what it does perfectly. Would love to see this on mobile - I think the swiping might feel better on a touch-screen than a mouse.
Would love to see this expanded into a full puzzle game.
Interesting idea - reminded me a lot of the color switching in Ikaruga.
Cool pixel art - I found it challenging to keep tabs on both cubes at once.
Spawning is hilarious, lol. Managed to survive by camping out in the ocean.
I like your portrayal of the mundanities of life - its a great way to evoke sympathy for both sides.
Cute little platformer, but still challenging!
Awesome idea - almost like a demake of Spore. Must have been difficult to create so many different game-play styles!
I was unable to start the game, receiving this error - http://i.imgur.com/3HmaFPG.png.
Clever use of gender neutral names - great writing!
Cute platformer - loved the modifiers system.
Great writing! It's always cool to see social issues explored through interactive fiction.
Interesting puzzle ideas - found the last two levels to be very challenging. Side note - you should use something like py2exe to package your game so that people can play without running from source.
Cool mechanic! My only gripe was that the puzzles felt like they could be easily solved through trial and error.
Applause sfx were quite satisfying.
A very cool concept - what's jump for one person is movement for another. Art reminded me a bit of Monument Valley.
Cute presentation! My only gripe is that I wish there was a better visual indicated for exactly when to press the beat.
Simple endless runner, but the presentation is far better than I've seen from any of those games.
Found the game-play to be extremely fluid, yet still quite challenging. Great art and music as well!
Clever idea, and quite funny too! I'll admit, though, it took me a while to figure out that I had to use the ruler as a bridge.
Liked the fact that the theme actually affected the level design! One gripe is that the physics seemed a bit off, in terms of jumping through the pipes.
Interesting concept - I enjoyed the little touches in the gun mechanics, like the swinging and delays.
Tough, but found it to be very enjoyable!
Interesting idea - reminded me of the belief collection system in Godus. I'll admit, I would have preferred to be able to just click on planets instead of having to fly around to all of them.
