Thanks! The help screen was the one thing I had to cram at the end and so I didn't really get to implement it how I wanted to. Once the jam and everything is over, I am planning on making more of a tutorial instead of just text. As for the lives, I felt that high score games tend to be more addictive if the runs are relatively quick to encourage trying again. That may just be a personal preference though.
@tomvert Perhaps you were suffocating because your breath meter at the top was running out? Thanks!
Awesome job, my only gripe is that the platforming was a little frustrating with how you slipped off platforms while on the edges, but still probably the best entry I've played so far.
Splitting a Ludum Dare entry into 5 different minigames sounds like a recipe for very low quality, but you actually managed to make each game fun and somewhat polished! Each minigame had me engaged rather than just going through the motions which definitely says something. Good job!
Since your game is a downloadable executable, I would mark it as something besides "Web" so it isn't confused with games that can be played online. :)
Neat game with a nice aesthetic. Was a little confused at first, but once I understood it, each level was a fun little puzzle to solve! Good job!
Neat idea, and impressive too! It would be cool if you explored more gameplay mechanics and added more content in the future, nice work!
This is great, very polished with a simple and fun mechanic. Good job!
Absolutely gorgeous man, great work.
Pretty cool concept and style man, the music was perfect. I was confused as to if I had any control in the hacking section, not sure if there was any gameplay past that point. The only suggestion I thought of was to maybe have the full dialogue message appear first when a button is pressed and then skip it if it is pressed again, rather than having it skip right away. I found myself naturally wanting to press a button to see the whole text so I could read it faster than the typing speed. Great job on this though!
Great game, fun and polished. Not very strongly tied to the theme or super innovative, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit.
Here is a hint: Observe the results when you exit one of the "games" while holding an item.
@Cake&Code To be honest, I've never heard of Chasm haha! I'd be interested to see a comparison, it's funny how things happen like that sometimes. :)
I really like the vibe and graphic style, good work!
Entertaining little game with nice graphics. I didn't really have a point of reference as far as how much I needed to train to have a chance against the yellow guys, but I still had fun with it!
Was decently entertaining, though I felt like the connecting of the computers was just an extra thing rather than the main game mechanic as far as what it actually took to beat the levels. I personally found the controls a bit awkward, I would have rather had W be jump than space give the use of WASD, but that might just be a personal preference. Good job!
I liked this a lot! The marble sound was perfect!
One of the better entries I've played so far, nice work!
Nice little game, the main mechanic and physics were fun to play around with. For some reason WASD didn't work for me (W jumped, but couldn't move left and right), but using the arrow keys worked fine. Good job!
I enjoyed this one, though it would have been nice if there was some sort of score, without it there wasn't much motivation for repeated play. Good job though!
Neat idea, unfortunately the controls made it way too difficult for me. I liked the style and concept though!
Very hard but addicting, the masochist in me end up beating all the levels though, evidenced by me following you on Twitter. :P Good job!
Interesting concept, I felt that the enemies that hurt you were a little out of place in what otherwise was a puzzle-solving game, but overall I though it had a neat style and execution.
