just great! love the graphics, love the feel. congrats on the awesome job!
really amazing drawings and graphics. i love the drawings the most, really great style.
looks neat, wish you had a mac version
doh, wish there was a mac or web version
neat graphics and game play mechanic. i loved the feel of the sine wave drawing on the screen, great job
wow, mmo in 48 hrs is super impressive! a tutorial mode would be helpful to help with new players. i was confused for a bit
wow! this is such a great concept, love the way the disc path loops back to you. really well done for a 48 hour effort! polish that thing up and release it on the ipad ;)
wow, what a great entry! this is really polished and well executed. well done! i wished that the orb followed the mouse in real time rather than clicking but overall this was amazing
interesting concept, like the gameshow approach
looks really neat, wish there was a osx or web version
really cool setting
a lot of potential here, keep it up!
this was a really funny concept for the theme - so many games in one! really fun to play
great graphics and overall mood in the game. i loved the premise and really loved the atmosphere of it all. awesome job!
would love to see a web or osx version
really nice atmosphere in this one, great job! looks great and is neat to play
really well done. i found the keyboard controls felt a little hard to get use to, the jumping and grabbing onto walls didnt feel consistent to me. but overall great entry
wow! what a jem! this is really an amazingly polished game, i love the minimal design and simplicity. congrats on the amazing entry!
really really amazing for 3 hours! awesome job
wow wow wow! i love the graphic style. i love the fun of it, even though it is super hard. i think it would be really helpful to have some instructions for how to effectively use the keyboard keys to move the guy. overall so awesome mood, humor, and innovative game play. and you nailed the theme
i really like the graphics with this
great concept, i love the idea of the game taking over and leaking out into the real world!
haha, this is funny and fun, great job!
awesome idea for a game, i could totally see adding a character that guides you through this and having some fun events (like stockmarket crashes, etc)
i think this concept has a lot of potential, great idea
lovely artwork! wish i could rate it
congrats on your first LD! that is so great that you did it! it would be great if the hero moved faster, its really slow feeling
really nice start! i could see it becoming a really cool story and maybe the use of the lamp can reveal hidden doors and such
this is a really polished game and works super fluidly, well done. if anything, i was wishing i could control the fist to hit more than one enemy
looks neat, wish there was a mac version
very cute idea and fun
good job, amazing to see what you can do in 48 hours!
this was really awesome! really simple, but great looking and i loved the physics of the rock, really well put together!
this is really neat, i wish there was more to play because i really see the potential of it. love that the cat is key to completing the level but you also need to protect it. great idea! the graphics are really lovely too.
this is neat. i found it hard to really get past and maybe it can lead the player in on easier levels first? just a thought
looks neat but wish there was a web or mac version
Great game, nice graphics, and tricky gameplay :)
i like the graphics, but i died :(
i couldnt get the osx version to work once i unrar'd it. i ended up with what looked like app package contents
cool! i got 15th place! very satisfying to watch the boxes get clobbered. in the end i didnt move my turrets all that much and just waited for one of the boxes to pass through. i could see this expanding with powerups and more strategy to it
funny idea, very hard to hit him with the yogurt!
really fun and fast and fluid!
great work on this! i love the idea of having the gem be super easy to get and having the escape be so difficult. great concept and i like the time spent on the little dialog parts to build the story
Looks really good, and you were really successful with the mood. it's got that scary vibe to it. i liked the concept, but wish the gun was usable from the keyboard.
really fun and funny concept, great job executing it too!
really hard!
cool game! i liked the humor and could see that played up even more
great entry! this was neat and looks really polished. i love the concept of only having one spell per level. it would be cool to get a clue as to what you will be fighting next so you can strategize and choose the right spells/gems
really well done and really neat idea!
wow, that's a really hard version of asteroids :) good work!
really awesome graphics and mood and i love the mechanic! lovely work
nicely done, i really like the concept of having to keep those two worlds in sync
wow, really awesome! a little hard :) wish there was a shorter entry to get you started and in the mood. amazing feel and graphics!
wow, this is really awesome! well done, amazing you could get so much done in such little time! the graphics are so cool and the game play is neat. overall i really like it, but hard to play on a trackpad :)
really neat graphics. the controls felt a little difficult to master for me. maybe a keyboard key to chuck the kids in the direction you are aiming
i love that you wrote that story, its really spooky and compelled me to read more. the music really caught me off guard at the end. great mood building.
great job on the rotating world and the graphics. really well done game. i think my favorite part is the UI elements actually in the world space, with clocks and stuff. i can see like the underwater having a clock counting down your remaining air and such, great idea to elaborate on
well done with this, i really like the concept. some of the graphics (the overall level, the main character, the particles) are really great
good start!
the splash screen graphics are great, it would be cool to carry over more of that look into the game - that monochrome look is neat.
very polished for a first game, well done!
wow, really great art direction on this, i love that you used photos for all the textures - totally feels unique and original.
really nice looking entry, great job and congrats on your first LD! i like the concept a lot of having to make these really obvious decisions - what to use the key on? i can see it getting more complex as the game goes and really becoming challenging.
hahahe, funny premise for a game!
awesome graphics
Neat game. i like the theme a lot - space pirates! it was difficult to figure out what to do with the movable asteroids. i thought i could move them (tractor beam?) or shoot them into place. the nonviolent option is really interesting and worth exploring
really well done! i could see this being a great mobile game
i really like your concept of having a weapon that has to ricochet to an enemy, its an interesting mechanic i think could really be extrapolated even further. good work!
this is a fun and funny game. the narration made me laugh :)
wow, really awesome work here! i love the color shifting mechanic and could see this extended and made into an awesome mobile game.
great graphics, good job!
really amazing visuals, great job!
i get a crash when trying to launch the jar (on osx)
nice to see this kind of game in the jam, well done!
neat idea. it felt a little haphazard in terms of control. maybe more tutorials that explains the whole rotating world element
awesome game! this is a really great concept - simple yet challenging. a shame all those little petards had to die ;)
what a great entry, it looks really cool.i agree that the pellet could be cooler
nice little game with nice graphics too!
This was my first Ludum Dare and it was super fun and exciting. My son (9yo) also participated and built his own game (in Scratch).
To build this i used:
Art: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
Code: FDT, Adobe AIR, Flash, CitrusEngine
Sound: Adobe Audition
thanks so much for all the feedback everyone! yes, sound would have been awesome! i totally wanted to add sound but suddenly looked up to see time running out :) i will definitely be finishing this off so keep the comments coming!
thanks for the comments and the warm welcome to the community, my son and i cant wait for the next LD!
correct, i ran out of time for adding sound :(
haha, thanks Jupiter for giving it a go! thanks everyone for your great feedback!
interesting concept
Interesting a fast game play. it might be nice to have a tutorial or slower monsters in the beginning just to get you used to the mechanics.
i like the graphics and gameplay. it wasnt super clear what i should o on land once i settled but i'm sure i can figure it out if i spend more time.
awesome graphics!
well done wit this, the graphics are sooo nice! love the suspense and the overall idea. it was a little tedious reading all that dialog at times, i wish it was just a tad faster
really nice visuals!
very very interesting project and it sounds super fascinating. wow, AI will soon beat us all in making games for game jams ;)
great job with this, i really like the concept!
nice graphics, gameplay was hard to figure out, and maybe a little buggy
awesome job! the graphics are awesome and the game play is really unique. i love the frogs and how you have to double jump to get under them. really nice thinking. i also think the intro where once you get the arrow you see the title is an awesome idea!
looks really neat, it would be cool to have some help in the UI for what controls to use etc
wow, really really hard game! but nice graphics and overall polish, congrats!
Congrats on your first entry (my first time too). keep it up! this is well put together for a first time!
i like the tone of this game, nice idea and fun writing
congrats on your first game! awesome to see high school kids making games and figuring it out on their own, you will go far that way :) congrats and keep it up!
seems there is a crashing bug that keeps it from running on my osx machine
really great concept for a game, great job!
i really like the look of this game, great job on the graphics
really neat concept. it was really hard though and i could see the early levels being a little easier to get people into it. overall, a nice innovative piece
well done. i could see this evolving with keyboard keys for each of the resources and maybe some variation to keep it from being too repetitive in the first level or so
really funny and original concept
very interesting concept
wow. just wow. this is amazing on so many levels... first, the writing: i think its easy in these game jams to focus on the mechanic and the fun, throw-away nature of it all. you have written an amazing story. and game. its simple and heavy and last with you. so incredibly well-written, you convey that sense of no-turing back, that sense that you have crossed the rubicon.
the mood is perfect. the music really supports the piece and takes you to the place you want us to be.
this is proof that good stories are the real place to start when creating games that last. that stick with you. and it is also proof that games can be a place to teach and learn and tell stories that arent easy. that are about hurt and love and all those things that most games are not.
thanks and congratulations.
really nice entry! i really like that you have a little story and philosophy in there
doh, no windows machine, but looks really neat!
great job enderosc, super proud of you!
good job enderosc!
really well done! the graphics are really good and the game play was challenging. i could maybe see some easier rounds at first so it doesnt feel like i suck so bad at it ;)
nicely done graphics and the feedback is actually really smooth an interesting.
really well done, i loved the graphics and the game play made instant sense
neat idea for sure
really great look to this, great job!
wow, first game? geez, i have no hope! ;) great job, really awesome graphics and an amazing first effort
nice start for a game, i can see pushing the graphics and animation more to make it really engaging
interesting for sure. i didnt really understand what i was supposed to do though.
great looking game and really sets the mood well. i wish i could run or sneak :)
i love the feel of this, well done and fun
congrats on this being your first LD entry, really clever mechanic and interpretation of the theme!
i like the idea and its a cute game. it would be cool to have the ninja get quicker or maybe there are more ninjas
wow! really really great! the flame and artwork of the game is just awesome. i could see it being a little simpler in the beginning to keep players hooked longer
still not working in the mac: Sat Dec 28 22:12:34 PST 2013 ERROR:Could not get the JAWT interface
org.lwjgl.LWJGLException: Could not get the JAWT interface
really awesome atmosphere, the music and the visuals work really well together. i love that this is a sort of mystery, you dont really know what you are doing until the end. maybe a bit like life. thanks for the lovely experience.
The visual style of this game is so awesome, great job! Wow, i was totally sucked in just be the screenshot. the game play feels really nice
looks really neat, i couldnt really get how to toss the happy bot over the force field though
nice job! i like the feel of it
really nice graphics. i lied the game play although the controls felt a little rough at time. i could see some dialog making this even more rich
nice work making a good casual game, great mechanic
wow, amazing entry! great mechanic and overall really super challenging. maybe some easier levels to start :) it seems sometimes touching the blue ball was enough, and sometimes i had to be right in it
cool game! the player movement feels a little sluggish but overall, great entry!
great job! i think it would be cool to have the boomerang loop back to you on its own but if you arent in good proximity then just running up to it and over it gets it back.
great job! love the concept
great looking game! i found the movement lagging and sort of bugging out in the latest version of chrome on a mac.
interesting concept for sure. and challenging too.
wow, really awesome. love the graphics - great 3d work!
wow, a lot to make in 48 hours, congrats! it was a little slow for me, not sure why as not many games are slow on my machine
i like the premise of the game, interesting mechanic for sure. it would be nice to see the hero sprite have a different design than the other people in the shop.
looks really amazing, wish i could play on the mac
wow, so cool and classic feeling! great graphics and game play
really great effort, great job with this. i like the overall concept of the spring crate, although it would be cool to have some fragility to the crate - i didnt notice any in the early levels at least
awesome concept for a game, i really enjoyed making terrible movies :)
really cool, unique graphical feel to this, well done on the styling
wow, so good, awesome job! the concept is really great and the graphics are awesome! i thought at first that i had to be near a candle to light the match, that might be an interesting extra challenge in your mechanic.
Really great job! UI needs some work, but the game itself looks and feels so good
this looks great, great job! i think that once you lose the parachute you should end the level right away.
awesome graphics and mood! great job
i really like the idea of the crazy warped world and the graphics were neat
this is really an awesome game, great work! i love the limitation of only being able to hold one item and how the game reveals itself as you play. this would be an awesome mobile game
WOW! this is an amazing game for 3 days. man, you really did set the bar very high! congrats!
wow, this is amazing for 48 hours! well done! i could see increasing the story aspect more since the graphics and atmosphere are so engaging!

first off, i am a huge fan! i loved probe team (even did a few posts trying to recreate it in flash). this is so awesome! you really capture mood and set the atmosphere so well in your games. this feels so simple but has a lot of depth and i was at the edge of my seat.
cant wait to see more from you!
I so badly want to play this, i'm on a mac and get this error
“CrystalTrip” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
any ideas?
really love the graphics and overall mechanic. great job! level 5 got really hard really fast
wow, sooo cool! love the graphics and the overall mechanic of the game, well done!

wow, this is definitely one of my favorites. the artwork is just superb, really well done. congrats on a really great entry!

looks really nice
i really love the graphic style and simplicity, well done!
wow! what an amazing creation for three days! congrats! i really loved the visual design of it. the controls were easy and the story was really well put together. i was a little lost at some point and the owl didnt help as much as i thought he would but i think i need to spend more time with it
neat game. would be nice if the keys defaulted to WASD but overall, nice entry!
really nice looking and feeling.

nice graphics! very hard to play in that flappy bird sort of way

i really like the atmosphere to this game, well done!
wow, so simple and so cool, i love it! the feel of it is great, but hard at the very start. once i got it i really enjoyed it
good entry! i like the concept for sure, and you are right, its a tad bare but a good start. the idea of diving beneath the surface of the skin was on my list too when i was coming up with concepts and i think you can expand this out with even some educational aspect along the way
i loved the narration. well done!
wow, very very impressive work for the compo! well done and would love to see this as a mobile game, it would do great!
Well done guys, interesting mechanic and really high-quality visuals!

really nice mood to this
nice graphics and overall feel!
i played for a bit, but it was hard. its hard to fight the urge to just stop playing and close the window. its a gruesome game so far but you have elicited such a strong emotion, so kudos on that.
love the fluidity of this game, and the concept is really neat. well done!
awesome looking game! the keys were a bit wonky to get used to though, but man, the animation and the visual design, top notch!

unfinished but a really nice beginning. i actually really enjoyed connecting the 100s of planets together :)
the pixel effect is really interesting, congrats on another LD!
congrats on the entry. i wanted to really love this game, the graphics are nice, ts pretty polished, but i had to really click around all over the place to figure out that dublin is all i could play with. i think some UI tweaks and playability fixes could make this really fun
at first i wasnt that impressed with just a plain old platformer. the graphics and effects are nice though. but with the rotation and platform moving mechanic added, it becomes something really unique. well done!
very nicely done beginning, would love to see this turned into a full game with a bigger story. well done!
the visuals were really really nice, well done!

very nice visuals! quirky and silly, well done
interesting game, congrats on the entry! nice to see some story based games in here. nice graphics
i love the concept here. i could see it being more interactive for sure, but the pints are pretty interesting and spot on :) i read a few books that touch on similar topics - glad to see we are all searching for similar things and discovering that we cannot act in a reactionary mode anymore if we really want to stay creative (and in some sort of control of our creativity)
wow, what a deep and polished game for the jam, congrats on the awesome entry!
lovely looking visuals, well done!
interesting concept. it was a little tedious to click one option at a time
wow, very complex game. i dont know if i fully got it, it felt like it need a walkthrough to really get the gist, but a lot of amazing work for 72h!

i did have an issue where some of the textures were just white (the whole hand was white for me, no colors or textures at all)
