Maybe you should block the player while the cube is rotating tho, cause i managed to pass from the "factory" to the "labyrinth" while the cube was rotating :)

Really cool game, had lot of fun.
A little bit hard to get level 1 upgrade but after that it become quit satisfying.

Got stuck when i got(i think) a perfect date. Right after she said the meat was perfectly cooked, the game didn't do anything more. Just staring into each other, that was quite a romantic bug.

First play, i was not really sure if i had an influence on my score. But in fact you can develop some nice strategies.
I like the fact that you got around the difficulty of counting adjacent tiles by making the player doing it ^^ smart trick

got the same bug that spawned me above nothing, just after the jumping drums serie.
Overall it's a pretty cool entry.
One major improvement (imo) would be a blob shadow under the character (a simple projector that project a shadow under the character), so that you can easily "see" in 3d where you are. You can see that in all the 3d plateformers games.

I really don't think you Have to make it faster. It's the main purpose of the game. All games aren't about speed/fun/adrenaline.
Exploring while looking at landscape can be really enjoyable.
Problem is, the camera is quit buggy (or at least it was for me). It was keeping its momentum even without moving my mouse. Making it really frustrating to even try to look in other directions. So I ended up trying to block the camera in the next green circle direction, hoping that i wouldnt had to move it again, ruining the experience of exploration :(
So beside this big problem, the game could have been quit enjoyable / relaxing. With the addition of maybe some context to add a little bit of implication, with some visual narration.
Overall, the game has potential, graphics and audio was great.
I am really sorry to ear that it won't work on osx, but since i don't have any acces to any mac, i can't try to fix it. Best i can do is remove this option i guess :(
The game could benefit from having more interactions with other players. Right now this is more or less everyone in is corner, living teiir lives ^^. Also, fuel is spawn on the right of the pad, making it roll to the right of the map. Seems a little bit unfair.
Graphics are cool, lighting effects adding a lot to the atmosphere.
There is potential but the game lack of feedback to understand what is going on. Also the difficulty is way too hard right from the beginning, keeping the player from exploring his possibilities. Take it slow ^^
you say that the game doesnβt have all of the functionality you wanted, but in fact i would say that there are already too many.
Really cute and overall a really decent game. Quit difficult to get it tho.

If you plan to make it a full release, here are some recommendations : Put a crosshair Do not limit the resolution Give the player a reason to go on the moving platforms Make variation on enemies behavior so the player doesn't end up running only backward and shoot. That's a direct consequence of enemies only following the player. Head bobing is way too exaggerated (i would say you used the fps controller of unity but with a wrong scale)
Art, sound and mood are pretty nice. Controls are ok, even if the shooting system is a little bit wonky. I liked the main concept but it ended up being quit routinish. Maybe because of the level design being too symmetrical.

Way too dificult too quickly. You should always consider yourself as the greatest player of all time of your own game. So the thing you would call easy -> call it hard for player ;)

Controls are a little bit tricky cause walls tends to block the player. There is too many friction between the two i would say, especially with corridors.
Maybe a little bit too easy to force your way through the level.
Overall a solid entry, as long as infiltration is your thing ^^
Simple yet efficient and pretty well executed. Maybe a little bit too easy, but that's subjective. To be picky i would say that head bobbing was too strong.
Audio is really aggressive on the ear The game has potential but was quit confusing. Hard to tell difference between different penguins. I ended up moving all my penguins randomly to the left and win. I would say make the rules simpler and more elegant.
Art is really great, with a nice dose of juiciness ^^ I would say that the concept and the level design are a little too simplistic, making it quit repetitive really fast.

Graphics are cool and refreshing. The intro give the game a nice touch but was a little bit too long. Starting this slow make the difficulty ramp quit weird. It was more difficult at the start than after getting a decent speed, making it hard to understand what to do (i died in 3 to 5 seconds on my firts try).

I don't think there is any real purpose in wanting the player to maintain space. In fact, since there is no reason for him to not hold space, cause it only make him stop, I ended up holding it constantly, releasing it quickly only to jump. Resulting in a normal runner with "reverse" controls (release a button to jump instead of pushing it).
The music and background are nice and very atmospheric, but doesn't really match the genre in my opinion.
Theme is nicely followed, each movement taking energy. Graphics are nicely done, tho Gui could have been more polished but hey. Audio: music and fx are well done, nothing to Humor: i don't really care, this category is too subjective ^^ Mood: nothing special here.
Fun and innovation are were i think the game is really lacking. I don't really think you should make frustrating controls for the only purpose of being frustrating. Cause the only result you'll get is success at being this : frustrating.
Overall a pretty good realization, nice work ;)

The music loop is way too short, making it frustrating.
Controls are ok but could "easily" be improved. A simple example would be to use a square hitbox for the player rather than a capsule, avoiding the player to slip from edges.
The mechanic is nice, however maybe over complicated. For example there is no real justification in the need to shoot an enemy before turning him into stone.
Overall a solid entry which could easily turn into a nice bigger game ;)

Nice graphics and cool approach of the theme. However i didn't find any way of knowing what recipe to do so i wasn't able to really play the game :( audio was simple yet efficient.The musical loop is a little bit short tho.

Cool game, tho a few problem of compatibility between level design and minimalist style i think. (Don't get me wrong, the style of the game is great, and i love minimalism) The best example would be on the level "to the top". Player have to go up but has no visual clew of his own speed.
I m being picky on a this cause the rest is i think pretty good and overall well executed. Nice job ;)

I don't remember seeing this simple but yet effective mechanic of respawn in other game.
The game feels really satisfying, but could be even more by really simple tweaks like giving a reason to the player to not shoot. In fact you could follow point by point the vlambeer conference "art of screenshake".

@karmafarm in fact i would suggest taking a look at the sebastien lague (youtube) 2d platformer controller rather than the brackey's one. I love brackey but the one sebastien made is soooo perfect.

I only played the original one since i assume it's the one done in time. I didn't really get the strategy for getting good bricks. After cleaning an entire room i didn't had enough to open the door.

Way too much hard. I could barely pass the second wall of the first level after many tries :(
The fact that you can't predict a red platform combined with the fact that it is making you lose a hell lot of momentum make it quit frustrating. Plus, knowing that you can be slowed by a plateform, you tend to try to land on the extremity of it, making it harder to know on what plateform you landed.
that's a pity cause i would have loved to go further, it seemed nicely done π

Although i not a big fan of the cursor moving randomly AFTER a click. I get the point of imitating recoil and things but in the end it feels more unfair than challenging. A constant moving cursor would maybe be more appropriate.

The pace of the game seems a little bit slow. Mainly due to the fact that a lot of actions seems redundant. For example making the player clic on a size of seat before clicking a seat isn't needed since, being unable to seat someone in the wrong seat, this isn't a choice.
I don't know if the "i hate orcs" is a mechanic for placing people accordingly, it would be a nice add

You should avoid putting collectibles at the edge of the plate since it will shrink. It results in the sensation of having been tricked rather than dying by real mistake. Especially on the first play.
The pieces lacked a bit of diversity, i got mainly 'S' pieces. Nice entry and kudos for using Godot π

Wow production value is way over the top, good job. Graphics are awesome, soundfxs are great, the music is perfect for this kind of game and the controls are neat.
My only complains would be that 's it pretty difficult to gauge where you are in space, making it difficult to collect spice (combined with the hard to see meteors). Also the spice level seemed to go out REALLY too quick. I could barelly play for more than 10-15 seconds before dying on every playthrough.
Overall a really nice job !

Tossing can be sometime a bit dificult, especially the oversized weight, since you don't really know the trajectory in advvance and literally have only one chance with it.

After some time in the game the time passed in getting up to the elevator can become a little bit boring, espellialy when you are coming back from the deeper levels

loved the fact that changing gameplay wasn't just a gimmick but also a way to make the player take more risks by getting closer to what will be eventually an ennemy
My only regret would be that on a first play you can spawn really close to an ennemy and therefore die in less than a second (ti's frankly just for nitpicking)

The propagation system is really good. Not a big fan of mold beeing able to regrow on already cleaned food, but thatβs really to be peeky. I would have loved to see an upgrade system, but pretty sure you already thought about it. Well done

Such a clever blend of classic mechanics and modern roguelike elements. The sound design and animations really bring the world to life, and the death/recovery loop is super satisfying. Would 100% play a full version of this

yeah like Bandsma said, ennemies are a little on the "Hp sponge" side, but other than that it was quite fun.

yeah the qte was really hard, and i am no especially bad at it normally. Even with an upgrade i struggled a little bit, so much so that i leaved the reapers win the fights so it didnβt take so long. But other than that a pretty solid entry, with nice graphics and sounds.

The game was really short, and i understand why ^^, but it was promising. A lot of potential and, for what is there, pretty well executed. Obviously, Level design was laking a bit of fun, too much linear... but in two days you canβt do miracles.

Like @GiovanniBarrottu said, the bounces plus the floaty impression make the controls pretty irritating. Especially since you bounce where you should build.
I would really recomend you to watch the "art of screenshake" video from vlambeer, and apply every single point he make to your game. I can assure you those changes wouldn't be so hard to implement and you would see an instant improvement ;)

Like Teo said, the character was a little bit slow, but also a slow acceleration making it dificult to predict his behavior.
After seeing you gameplay video, i can assure you i was walking way slower ^^ Nice entry overall tho.
Interesting concept. Although, since Jumps are so high you can't predict where you'll land, plus the fact that there is no indication of where you'll die, it's pretty difficult to play, and can feel even hazardous at some time.
I don't really think the disappearing card mechanic adds anything to the game, I would even say it is confusing the player more than anything.
I think i already heard this music somewhere, if it is the case, it would be nice to mention the artist. If it's not, sorry and good music :)
Graphics are nice.
I like the abstract style, your choice of colors made it quite enjoyable. On the clicker side, i think it lacks what a clicker is : Autoclic. For the RTS, i think the game would really benefits from better time reaction of units.

The really high Sensitivity made it really hard to play (i bet you are on mac :) )
With a little more polish, i would totally imagine myself play this game with friends.
Some collision bugs are a little bit irritating since they are often synonim of an unfaire lose :( Other than that the game is pretty fun, despite maybe a level design wich would gretly benefit of some love. The table can feel a little bit empty.
Audio is ok, but on the strict minimum side. Graphics are great.
I didn't really get the "third person platformer" genre but hey, i don't care of the theme if the game is fun ... And it is ;)
