Really silly fun game :) :D had me panicing trying to figure out how it worked ahah
Nice game. The visuals look good and the puzzles are interesting. My only problem is that the puzzles get repetitive after some time but i can understand that it is very time consuming to add more.
I lost my soul :( but ahahaha the atmosphere is hilarious! I thought it was a nice way to implement the theme, the puzzles were cool. Screenshot_1.jpg
Cool! Looks polished, no bugs. Game has its own style, that's good. But I think character has to be more controllable and maybe some more random generation can improve replayability/
Came from your comment under our game Flash Scrumble. Similar concept of having multiple small games changing every 10 seconds.
We actually had the same idea of having a Task-based mini-games where you have to do something in 10 seconds or lose. But we decided to not go with it since it felt farther from Theme of "Every 10 seconds" since each game would take strictly less than 10 seconds if you succeed. So we decided to go "survive for 10 seconds" then you play less than 10 seconds only if you lose :)
Great entry from you! I would work a bit more on main controls of character since controlling it does feel pretty bad - for example jumping to the flag feels annoying just because the controls are annoying. Mini games feel great - a good variety of different tasks.
Nice collection of minigames :) A little repetitive, but I guess that's the point. I hope I still have my soul!
It felt very cohesive for a minigame-collection, and I liked the mini puzzle the first time I got the balloon.
I think writing your own player controller would go a long way to improving this, the physics (and in particular the player's friction) interrupted me a lot.
Got to 110. Good audio (love the mouth noises). Controlled well. Somehow I pressed the trampoline all the way down and it got stuck there lol. Jumping on it again fixed it. Would have been great to have increasing difficulty.
Funny and stressfull, I had a hardv time understanding what to do with the ballon and the door, other than that it's great!
I love the voice growling orders in your ear lol. I like the concept of having multiple minigames to swap between, each plays well and it's cool how many of them are pretty unique from eachother. I do wish there was a little bit of a difficulty curve and things sped up or got harder over time, but I enjoyed the minigames on their own merit too. Well done!
Graphics nailed the carnival feel, the blinking bulbs around the edge were a nice touch. Putting the UI buttons in the clowns eyes was a little unsettling, but that fits the theme of the game nicely. The urgency of moving back and forth as fast as possible was fun, especially when the I just did the cannon and then have to get the balloon that spawned on the opposite side and run it back. The flag jump didn't show up very often, but it was probably just my luck of the random draw.
Once I got into a nice groove though, it didn't seem like there was anything that I'd eventually lose too. Some type of increase in difficulty as it goes would be a great addition. The only thing I noticed like that was the one where you select all of an item from the board. The grave stones and the cats were easy enough, but I got a pumpkin one that had so many I couldn't click them all in time.
Great atmosphere, fun game! Well done!
Good stuff! Really funny, fun world you set up there. I liked the frantic nature of it when I started, but once I got the hang of it I could play without any fear of losing. Really great job on the atmosphere.
One note is that I couldn't figure out how to pop the balloon the first couple of times I played. I got it right by accident once, and then it was fine. Also, I wish that the game kept pace with my skill increase. Not necessarily giving me less time, that would make some tasks impossible, but some kind of difficulty curve would keep me engaged for longer. That said, I did get up to 130 points, so I guess it kept me engaged for quite a while!
Great job!
Nice work, i wish there was a liitle more diversity on each minigame tho, like you already quite did withthe flag
Also there could be a more visual cue for the task at hand as the audio alone can be an additional difficulty for some people (that's really just a detail)
Cool entry
Well done! Nice idea, and it's quite fun to complete challenges by following the spooky commands. Maybe it will be more challenging if the timer will speed up over time. And my best score is 71.
Very cool! I got to 150 and then got tired but overall it's pretty fun
Great game !! really good concept. Got stuck in middle for a while but figured out the way later. Awesome work for a limited time jam. You should go with this concept further. Please do check out my submission as well.
I think you did some things really well here. The atmosphere/concept is really cool. The idea of being in a circus trying to go quickly to the next act is super fun and I really enjoyed that part. The sound effects are really good, and the creepy voice is pretty cool as well. I think where this game struggles a little bit is in the controls/replayability. I made it to a score of like 65 before I got bored and just stopped playing. After a certain point, there is just no reason to continue playing because you've done everything. Granted, I had a lot of fun playing it at the beginning, so I think that makes up for it. What I'm saying is having some sort of win condition would be nice, and then anybody who wants to shoot for a highscore could do that. Overall very nice job!
Somehow i did expect everything except a minigames compilation and it was great! I just wanted more minigames (obviously) and more circus-centered games, as i found some of them out of theme IMY. Still GG!
Great take on the "10 second minigame" concept and good creepy/humorous atmosphere. I encountered a bug though where the pop-up mini games would take a good while to load when the timer started, sometimes giving me only 3 seconds to solve them.
My score was about 90 to 100 you should probably show the score at the end, I've forgot to have the score show at the end too. I like the little games you had to do in it and the background sounds are also really good and fitting! The character controller is a bit finicky, maybe try removing the friction and multiplying the velocity by something like (.8, 1).
