Absolutely amazing idea! I hope to see this idea implemented in a full game
Really cute graphics and sound, felt a little sluggish at times though and having some sort of indication of health and damage feedback would have made it a lot more satisfying to slash up those sushis. Overall it was nice and polished and fun to play.
Lots of fun and cute graphics, not really much of a challenge though, would have loved to see a more difficult version.
@solah thanks this means a lot. I hope to expand the game sat some point in the future so it has more and longer levels with puzzls that really show off the mechanics
Really liked the art style and how you exit in a rocket. It could sometimes be a bit tricky to get the trees to harvest though - It would sometimes take a few presses to get it to work.
Really fun to play, could be a bit more clear what each item does
Amazing to think that you made this in 3 days
Pretty simple but does what it does well
A nice, but difficult steal game with great graphics and sound. The picking up of items is very hit or miss on whether it will actually work and it was very unclear at first where you had to go to complete the objective of the game. It doesn't seem to want to load into the game properly if you press play again after completing one game so you have to restart the game after every try. Overall it was quite fun and I like the take on the theme of starting with nothing!
Very peculiar and interesting game
@harrison-dunn really appreciate the detailed feedback, and glad you thought it was cool too!
@elena-s That's a great score, we did loads of playtesting and even we didn't get that high most of the time, glad you enjoyed the game too :)
Very unique take on the theme lol. Very polished for a compo game, everything about the game just seemed to work and the sound effects added a nice level of feedback from inputs. The gameplay was really enjoyable but quite simple once you've been playing for a minute or so - that's really the only criticism I can think of, great job!
Really cool take on the theme. I really liked all the mechanics of the game (once I figured it out), but it got a little stale after a while once there wasn't anything new to do. Amazing art and sound, overall really great job!
Was very confusing at the start but I eventually got the hang of it and wow is the music great. I absolutely love the aesthetic and animations throughout the game. I wish it was a bit more obvious what was going on though, I never really knew if I was doing well or badly. Overall really great job guys!
Loved the sound, loved the music, loved the graphics, loved the animation. Was a really polished experience. Only problem I had was sometimes the little orbs would spawn right on the edge of the map and they're a little hard to see.
Really well made game. I love the eerie aesthetic you get from the massive sun watching you from the distance while you frantically search for the red lights in the dark of space. Music was very cool and fitting too. Would have loved to have some kind of animation for the gun firing so you can see your hard earned shells launch off into the distance.
There's no kind of executable or launcher included in the download. Seems something somewhere has gone wrong. I won't give you bad ratings though as I'm not a monster.
I the ships and lasers didn't really stand out enough from the background and I kept finding myself getting hit without realising. Liked the graphics otherwise and the sound was cool. The take on the theme is pretty unique and overall it's a pretty well polished game.
Nice straightforward take on the theme (nothing wrong with that) and I ended up enjoying the graphics, they are quite funky. Wish there was a little more feedback on user input as it's quite confusing whether your button presses are actually doing anything sometimes. The gameplay was fairly simple, but a great first attempt at a compo! Hope you enter again next time :)
Seemed to be sliding around a bit. Feels strange with no sound. The game didn't give me my cursor back after I go back to the main menu. Walked out a door and fell out of the map so had to restart the game. Overall not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing in the game but I liked the aesthetic and slow movement. It could have been used to make creepy feeling but unfortunately it just seems like everything is unfinished.
Overall it was decent. There didn't seem to be much 'reason' to play such as having a high score or getting or anything. I like the art style and visuals. I also appreciate the addition of sound and music, just wish it they could be a bit better and wouldn't burst my ear drums because of how loud they were :)
Took me an embarrassingly long amount of time to realise the white ones means they want the shape not colour. A very cool concept, the only problem I had was that sometimes it took a while for the colours I needed would come and I would fail a round as a result. Overall good job though!
A silly concept and I love it. Had a bit of trouble getting the gnomes to go where I wanted sometimes but most of the time it was cool to see them rush to a skeleton and destroy him. Wish the game got harder or more enemies/gnomes were introduced to give me a reason to play longer.
It was quite interesting reading the random comments that kept appearing but unfortunately there's only so much fun to be had while pushing a seemingly useless button
Very cool take. Gameplay felt very smooth and satisfying, even when you fail. Only thing I can fault is that it gets a little repetitive fairly quickly. Overall thumbs up!
Wow. It's a super interesting take on the game and for the most part, executed perfectly. I only a had a couple issues, the second jump often activated while you were still on the ground (usually on a slope) causing you to effectively only have a single jump, and then the QR code thing is a cool concept (makes the game feel quite mysterious), but it did get a little tedious to whip out your phone every time you see one.
Don't take these critiques as me not liking the game though as I only played it long enough to have them because it was so intriguing. I just wish I could have finished it - I spent ages looking for the last piece but to no avail. Super good job guys!
I have to say, that's an awesome concept - wish I'd have come up with something time distortion related. Only issues I had were the scanner killing me at seemingly the wrong time and that there wasn't more of it to play. Seemed to be the beginnings of a really cool little game, wish we could have seen more!
The first download didn't work for me but the win32 one did. The movement felt pretty nice, doing a charge jump is pretty unique for a platformer like this but I think it worked well - especially with the powerups. I wish there were some kind of checkpoints in the level as it was heart breaking to run out of time quite far into it because you didn't know which way to go on your first time.
I had a bit of a hard time with the movement, felt a bit to slow and clunky and it was very easy to get caught on the corner of objects. The graphics were great though and I like the concept, although it did take me a while to figure out that you're supposed to go to each area, press space and then go to the counter and press it again. Really good job overall though guys.
Very polished. The powerup foods were cool but there didn't really seem to be any other than the few in the starting area. Otherwise it was very satisfying to go round sucking up all the cake.
Strange but fun. Not sure if I was doing something wrong but the water didn't seem to be doing anything to the big boi ant. Otherwise the movement and shooting felt nice.
Wow! Felt like a very complete game and was a lot of fun. Only have a couple of complaints, some of the games were a bit trivial for 10s like the walk outside, and others were a bit too finnicky (especially on your first attempt) - such as the trampoline and put away toys ones. We did a similar game where it's lots of minigames so I can appreciate how hard it is to get the feeling of each and every one just right. Great job guys.
P.S. I like the cats :)
This game has a super cool vibe to it. The graphics, sound and setting all give that sort of strangely creepy atmosphere and I love it. The controls weren't perfect but I think considering the rest of they definitely don't ruin it. I had a bit of a bug in the berry section on my first time where I was standing on the bush and suddenly got flung and died instantly but on my other attempts it was fine. Overall it's a neat combination of simple but fun minigames packaged up into a cute little story game. Well done!
I really liked this. I felt that "they realised you aren't scary thing" seemed quite inconsistent. I thought the point was to not stand in the light to much or you get seen which I wasn't going (I think?) but sometimes I would be running around hiding behind trees and it would randomly pop up. I really like the feeling that the ambient sound and sp00ky graphics give - I wish it could be fullscreen so that you can become fully immersed. I think this concept for a game is really good and you guys did a great job with it. With a little bit of refinement you have an awesome little stealth game. Great job!
Wow this game was awesome. Great concept, cool take on the theme, insane polish - it basically has it all. I loved the sort of chaotic nature that the independently spinning rings provides. It never felt like I was forced to calculate which tiles would line up at what point or I lose, but whenever I did that it made me feel super smart lol. The only minor frustration I had was when I got to quite a safe supply of energy and population, but I never seemed to get any blue cards so I was sort of stuck waiting for when I eventually got one in a hand. Other than that though I can safely say this is by far the best game I've played this jam!
I love the mechanic for this. I know you've opted out for the category but I think some simple sounds could go a long way in a game like this, if not then some more visual feedback for finishing the constellations. I couldn't seem to get the capricorn one to work but all of the others it was quite the fun puzzle trying to see how many I could get in one night sky. Overall Very cool take of the game that was well executed.
This is surprisingly well put together, I think with only a small amount of extra stuff this could be made into a really neat game or something. I loved how the sound feels so reactive to what's going on. The graphics were also nice but I think if you made some alterations to the immersion of it, like having full screen, it would bring it to the same amazing level as the sounds it could be super calming.
I really like the cute art style + music combo and how it ties into your take on the theme. Who doesn't love bees. I found that it was a bit awkward trying to shoot the enemies, my shots kept hitting into the plants which seemed to have much larger hitboxes. I also found the one simple attack you get became a bit boring fairly quickly, the enemies do change but only slight changes to their movement. Overall though I really liked this. Great job!
I think this was definitely a promising concept and fits the theme very well. However I got stuck searching around for ages until I finally ran into something. I thought I was playing the game wrong but I think I just got unlucky. It was very hard to see stuff as the locations you are supposed to go don't stand out very well. This along with the speed of the movement made it a little frustrating to play. I think the atmosphere was great though and with only some small changes this can be an amazing cute little seed game!
I think this was a neat little combine harvester game. I think a lot of the potential was unexplored unfortunately, there seemed to be some powerups and different obstacles although I don't really know if they did anything besides the dirt slowing you down. Oh and I'm not sure if this is a bug but a couple of times when I ran over the carrots I became uncontrollably fast for a moment which I found quite funny to be honest. The levels never really felt challenging as the timers were far longer than you needed. I really liked the cute graphics and music though and I think with a bit of balancing this game could be really cool. Good job guys!
I want to start by saying I really loved the concept of this game. It's both a unique take on the theme of 'delivery' and a good one too. I unfortunately had the game crash on me a couple of times (I think when I was trying to place a card into my deck). I also found it quite confusing, I didn't realise at first that you spend your "card points?" on either flipping or drawing cards - However I can see how this could make for interesting strategy. I also still don't really understand how the points work. I thought I was doing well by getting the higher numbers in the top left but then I lost? I just wish that the game did a better job explaining it all as I think this had a lot of potential and the stuff I did , I found very interesting.
Overall good job though, very cool game.
Loved the idea for this game! Having to search through a bunch of packages for the names and picking them out one by one was both unique and fun. The game doesn't have much sound but what's there is good and is used effectively. I think the game could have done with some better graphics, and perhaps some refinement of the mechanics.
I had a bug where as I opened one of the package areas, if my mouse was over where the cart inventory was, it would move one of the packages back into the shelf - lost a couple of deliveries as a result lol. As the game is, I still think it's great - I could easily imagine this being a minigame for a larger game or something like that. Overall I think this was really good, well done!
Really cool idea that fits the theme very well. I like the visuals, very simple to see what's going on with the icons and roads etc. I really like the idea of having to guide the trucks so as not to intercept each other. The path finding you've done makes it really satisfying to plan out an entire route with multiple stops, and never gets overcomplicated.
I found that the gameplay does get a little repetitive after a while - managed to get to 64 and the best strategy seemed to just send empty trucks to random streets so they don't get in the way, and then just spawn in new ones. Maybe if there wasn't infinite trucks then it would mean you have to be a bit more strategic about when you send them back to the depot and what routes they take. I also had a couple of runs ended where I accidentally tried to spawn in a truck while another was still too close, quite frustrating having to start over - I know you mentioned it in your instructions but I think it wouldn't be hard to just prevent new trucks spawning while one is already at the depot.
Overall a really good game though, I could easily see this being polished up and expanded into a full on game. Great job guys!
P.S. You left the DoNotShip debug info folder in your game build lol
I think I have to agree with a lot of the other comments when they say it's really interesting but I have no idea what's going on. I think the first couple of times I tried to play I ended up in a blank grid when I clicked on the character, but the third time I actually got some kind of minigame thing. Hard to say what the actual game was. Regardless though the artwork that I did manage to see and the music and sounds throughout were all really good. It's a shame that I ended up just transitioning to a black screen after a few minutes. I'm sure there was a lot more for me to see.
Overall a really cool game, what I managed to experience was good, just wish it was a bit more polished.
Thanks for all the kind comments and advice everyone! Much appreciated :)
@beebster-games @vodzik @kattalord @gordienkogames @innocuousuk @bottledwehr
Thanks for playing our game guys - and for the compliments and feedback also!
@kanity @ardorugus @hakro @wave-propagation @jk5000 @bluedandelion @amarokczukay
Great game. It's extremely well polished for a game jam, more importantly it's fun. You've balanced the difficulty quite well, there's even a bit of a skill curve which always feels good as a player - took a few tries on the last level but I kept on playing because I was actually enjoying myself.
The feeling of the bike was perfect, although it did bottom out and get stuck a couple of times. I understand that it might be on purpose but it was the only thing that felt a bit annoying in this game so it sticks out to me. The intro and scoreboard are really well done, makes you forget that this isn't a released game.
I think the graphics have room for some improvement, but how they are doesn't drag the game down at all - and as it is, the whole thing feels very cohesive and well designed. The music and sounds are pretty good too, only thing I think is missing is maybe a bit of audio feedback for buttons and things - that's definitely a nit-pick at this point. It reminds me of the sorts of games you'd play on your iPod touch (and I mean that as a compliment).
Overall really good job, you said this is your 7th time and it definitely shows. Clearly a lot of experience and talent has gone into this game and personally I think it paid off.
What a strange concept for a game lol - but a good one. The stand out for me is the visuals, love both the hand drawn and 3D components, they do contrast quite a lot but you've managed to put them together quite nicely. I found the gameplay to be a bit lower standard though, it felt like I was mostly just hoping that they wouldn't randomly wander into the holes, and it doesn't really get much more complex.
I found a lot of the time with the 'pregnant?' marines, they would just go straight into the hole next to the egg before I have a chance to move them - and to contrast, grabbing them for food is very easy. I think I also might have had a bug one time where all the marines were spawning off screen and stuck in the bottom right so I had to run really far and spam E hoping to pick it up.
I think with a bit more of a refined and expanded gameplay loop this could have been an amazing game, other than the issues I mentioned it felt very polished overall and I know I've already mentioned it but visually it's both unique and good looking. Overall great job with the game!
I absolutely love the idea for this. With some more content and a little refinement this could be a really great full on game. The character controller was decent, good for a jam. It did feel a little clunky that you could only pick things up from the centre, particularly the long boxes. Even in the limited amount of levels you made, it's quite effective at demonstrating the different puzzle/platforming challenges that you can do with this idea. I also found a cool speed running tech lol - quickly dropping the box in the air to jump off of and then pick it up, wasn't very good at it but playing the game normally was fun enough. I wish there could have been some sound effects for things like jumping and collisions for the box just to help with the immersion, and graphics could have been better but I don't think the visuals are bad how they are.
Overall I think this is a great entry, good job!
Very simple but to be honest that's not really a problem. You mentioned about sounds and I think that would have gone a long way in this game. The only other big critique I have is that it's not particularly clear what the plague thing is doing - a timer in the top right that affects a number in the bottom left while your eyes are focused on some buttons in the top left. Considering you made this in a day though great job, it's really just a couple of surface issues and I love the funny sprites you made.
I love the vibe of this game. Even though it might be simple I think the visuals are great and make it very cosy. I think the game was a little hard for what it is though, I imagine you probably got quite good at dropping the packages while you tested non stop through development but for me it took a few tries on the first level. I'm also not sure how the grading system works because I did every package and hit no birds on the first level but only got a B, then on the second level I did the same but didn't even get the passing grade (not sure what more I can do).
Handling the helicopter thing felt very nice though, good job on nailing that satisfying hovering feeling. Dropping the packages too. Overall I think this was a really good attempt as there are lots of things you got right, just a little work needed on difficulty/gameplay variation.
I like the idea of this game. The requirement to quickly jump in and out of the car is quite unique and adds a little extra thinking about where you should park. The handling of the car is unfortunately not as satisfying as it needs to be, making it hard to even get round corners - this paired with randomly teleporting cars and a horrific sound really take a lot of the fun away. I also think there might be some kind of resolution scaling bug as all of the menus appeared small and there was a big black area round the side of the map (I'm playing on a 4k screen).
Overall I think this game had a lot of potential, just needs a bit more polish and some tweaking of the difficulty.
I love the concept of having to collect materials and carefully deliver them to the construction site - not seen anything like it yet in this jam. I found that the forward/backwards control of the car was a little floaty, making it a bit tedious to control - but the side to side control and rolling felt really fun to play.
The vibe of the game was very relaxing and I appreciate that it wasn't ruined by forcing an arbitrary timer on the player. I do however feel that the game could have done with a bit more variety in the gameplay - maybe some sort of puzzle mechanics where you have to figure out where you have to take each material or something. I got a bit bored by the 3rd level where it was just more of the same.
Overall a really nice experience playing. I only had one problem which was where I slightly clipped onto one of the rocks and pressing R didn't help me get off of it. Good job with it though, I know how tedious tuning physics can be in games and you managed to do a great job!
I REALLY wanted to like this game. The artwork and visual design is amazing, easily the best I've come across this jam. But I just wasn't having fun while playing.
Massive walls of text at the start that I think I would struggle to use even if I had a photographic memory. Clunky controls and interactions - when it worked (I assume?) it felt unresponsive, and then it just straight up didn't half the time. I got stuck in the elevator controls at one point and had to reset, and I couldn't ever get any of the crystals to deliver either. I'm sure the music and sounds were great but I couldn't hear them because of a constant static/hissing sound that was playing nonstop once I got off the instructions.
I think the concept for this game was super unique too - and the visuals really fit what this game could be. It sadly just didn't live up to the potential for me.
P.S. Please go again next jam if you can guys. Your team has so much potential and I want to see it used effectively. I wish you the best of luck if you do.
I'm really sorry but I just don't know what's going on here. All I'm told is to "explore the ruins" but what does that even mean. I found a couple of lights that change colour when I interact - no clue what they are supposed to do. And that's not even including the handful of times that I had to reboot because I fell through the world or got stuck in a hole with invisible walls or my screen goes black and I can't see.
I like the art style, sort of blocky jungle environment, but there's some kind of smeary filter and motion blur ruining it. I personally struggled with the inverted vertical camera controls so would have appreciated a way to change that. Something strange was up with the lighting, not sure if intentional but it felt super weird to play.
Really hope this doesn't come across as me trashing the game. I genuinely did try to figure out what was going on but I just couldn't. I think a lot more focus could have gone into guiding the player around to make a more simple and cohesive experience. I hope you can use what you learned this jam to make something amazing next time as it's clear you have the talent and inspiration!
Really liked the vibe in this game, nailed the mysterious feeling. Would have been really nice to see what you had in mind for the gameplay if you didn't get cut short. But nonetheless it was still a decently complete experience.
I wasn't really a fan of the camera controls, felt really floaty and imprecise. Also not sure if intended but the sound was causing a popping for me which was quite annoying, and took away from the otherwise really creepy atmosphere.
Great job with the cutscenes - you don't often get to see narrative experiences like that in jams so it definitely stood out, but maybe next time make sure you can also get your desired gameplay sorted too. Overall, still a really good entry though!
This is one of those games that is just all round solid or above. The only thing I can really fault it for is feeling a little cramped trying to do the drifts so it made the skill curve quite steep - but then that's the whole point of the theme so I can't really blame you too much for this. The controls feel pretty tight, which is great because that is usually the thing that suffers most when making a game like this on a tight schedule.
I loved that there were a decent amount of maps too, always good to see lots of content in a jam entry - especially when it's a good game as you're going to want to play more of it. Maybe a bit more variety in the obstacles than just boxes and cones could have taken it to the next level. But anyway like I said everything you've done is great anyway so it would just be putting the icing on the cake at this point.
Really good job!
A very unique entry. I think this could be used as a base to turn into a more simplified tool to teach neural networks. If it were gamified a bit more (unlocking different nodes one by one, maybe a bit more of a graphical indication of what each node does etc.), this could easily become a really fun programming style game. Great job!
It's an interesting concept for a rhythm game but I have to say it leaves a lot to be desired. I think the main thing is it didn't really feel like my clicking was actually doing anything - he would push or fall at any time he wanted rather than in reaction to my input. Visually it's quite unique, maybe some sound effects could help tie it all together. At the end of the day it's not terrible though
@kanity @killerb @yamacrate @jasonm @jesus-gonzalez @ava-skoog
Thank you all for playing - and for the great feedback!
Wow this was really cool. Always amazing to see games like this come out of just 72 hours. Loved the visual style of the game and all of the sounds and voice lines really made this game feel polished. The only thing I could fault it on was the difficulty, sometimes it felt like there were a million asteroids at once and if that happened to be after my shield runs out there's not much I can do. I think some of the abilities like the shield and bomb were a little difficult as you couldn't see what the charge levels were or know how fast they're charging. I think it could have just in general been a bit easier though as I played 3 or 4 times and almost got to the end but I think expecting more than 10 minutes is pushing it for a jam game - even if it's as well made as yours.
Really good job guys!
erm... interesting. I can see where the idea for this was heading but unfortunately there isn't really any substance to it. The movement felt quite good for what it is and the visuals gave me a strange vibe like one of those horror games that pretends to be all fun and happy.
The stand out for me was the audio, while the music was repetitive, it was also quite good (especially for a jam) and fit well with the game. The sound effects were also fine.
I always try and complete every game I try to make sure I can give them a fair rating, when I saw how long it takes to collect the colours I really struggled, especially considering how tedious and repetitive it is. Nonetheless, I was powering through when I ended up getting soft locked. I had a bunch of reds in my inventory and got my way up 4 colours and accidentally ended up with a full inventory, so no room to get any oranges. I'd already been walking in and out of cylinders for well over 5 minutes at this point so that's definitely enough for me.
Of course, as you've said on your post, you didn't get to spend the whole jam on this and considering that it really isn't that bad. I hope you come back and try again next year because you could definitely make something great
P.S. This is a reminder not to change game ideas multiple times :)
Despite it's simplicity I really enjoyed this entry. The music and graphics just made it very relaxed to play. I like how it was almost a metroidvania having to use some of the items to access different areas. Maybe this could have been enhanced a little by showing some visual representation of wearing them or in the hoods case maybe you could see the rain it's blocking. I didn't end up picking up some of the items so I assume there are multiple different boat parts you could have used to complete the game which is cool.
For me, I think the main thing that let this entry down was the the backtracking - normally in a medriodvania style game, they make this interesting by allowing you to use shortcuts you couldn't access or by fighting enemies with your new abilities et. Something like this would have helped to fill the void when you're navigating back to trade in an item.
Overall really good job though, very enjoyable :)
Beautiful singing :)
But seriously this was quite a fun little game. Felt quite polished and the movement was smooth which is always the most important thing in a platformer like this imo. It did feel a little easy at times where you could just keep walking along the bottom for ages - lucky I had something enjoyable to listen to while doing it though lol.
Overall, though the game itself was fairly simple, it really was lifted up by the theming, art and music. Great job!
The art and sounds are super good. Really make the game feel premium if that makes sense. I feel like this had a lot of potential but was let down a bit by the visual clarity of what's going on. Firstly it seemed to be locked to a tiny window which was super small on my 4k screen, but on top of that, the lasers made it super hard to see anything. I found that I would lose track of stars, enemy attacks and even my own ship at times trying to focus on finding where the next enemy was. It unfortunately really got in the way of me enjoying the game.
I could definitely see a lot of potential regardless, with some small tweaks to make the game a bit more readable you could have a really solid bullet hell.
Cool little sandbox experience, very impressed that you managed to get multiplayer working - especially since it's your first LD. I can think of a few cool ways you could implement what you have into a fun little game. Maybe something like designing your own fortresses and then fighting your friends from them.
Since it's your first jam there's really not much point rating it as a game itself. The experience you would have gained from this yourself far outweighs any constructive criticism anyone could give you. It's important to remember that you're only going to get better in terms of game building ability.
What I will say is that you seem to have had a really good idea for the jam. I'm surprised I've not seen any other entries that are based on that inventory packing system that a few games have - I can see it being used in a really fun way. I bet you had lots of cool ideas on how you wanted the game to turn out. So take what you learned here and use it for your next time entering, where I'm sure you'll be able to come up with another great idea, and this time be even better equipped to execute it.
Great job :)
It was a neat idea, very committed to the theme. As much as I enjoyed the concept of having to sneak around the rooms in the dark, I feel like the vision was a bit too limited, maybe the screen could have been more zoomed in so that it wasn't 80% black. The horizontal/vertical movement felt quite good and it was satisfying to skirt around monsters after leaving a bomb for them.
Definitely a good prototype though, so good job!
Quite a fun little experience. The pacing was quite nice although it did get quite easy once I sussed everything out. I liked the combinations of having to run back and forth. The minigames were simple but fun - managed to find out that if you spam space as the ball goes between the arrows you can fill the tank in one go. Maybe some audio or visual effects for the interactions could have made them super satisfying to beat.
I think some kind of variation on the minigames to make them get a bit harder as time goes on could help with the repetitive nature of a game like this. Or maybe have certain events that randomly tank one of your resources so you have to quickly give it your attention - like a leak in the tank for example.
Overall it is a well made game - small but everything you've done was done properly. Good job!
A simple but polished twin stick shooter, really liked the art style and sounds for this, was very satisfying to run around shooting stuff. Wish the game was longer so I could experience more of it. Only real critiques I have is that the narrow hallways can be hard to see enemies in and the fire rate of your weapon doesn't seem to be capped so you can spam fire which feels a bit OP. Overall didn't really impact the experience negatively though so great job!
I love how silly this game is, the audio clips are great and just the whole theming of it is really enjoyable. Gameplay felt good although it can be hard to see the things you're supposed to click once it starts getting chaotic. The health bar timer thing made me chuckle, not sure if something was supposed to happen eventually but once it got to a certain point it just kept restarting the same section over and over and the gameplay didn't really change after a point. Wish there could have been some kind of increased spawns or something like that to keep it interesting.
Overall really good job guys!
Wow this game. It genuinely just feels like a finished game. I happily played that right through to the end. Graphics and sound is great, makes it super easy to just get stuck into the game. My only complaints are the chromatic aberration effect you have is a little strong, made my eyes strain a bit while trying to read text near the side of the screen. I managed to lose shards a couple times by having them fall off the screen (one of them my fault because I wanted to see what would happen if I flung it). And the last one is that there were shards with some really interesting abilities that I never got a chance to use as they needed activating and activator shards were really few and far between for me (maybe I just got unlucky), even though I bought them every chance I had.
The concept of this game and it's execution are really something else though and those are small tweaks I would make to what's already a great entry. Really amazing job guys you smashed it!
@vyolfers @she-wrote @megh-menghani @beebster-games @initialposition
Thanks for all the feedback! We really appreciate you playing.
There is also a windows exe available for download if there seems to be an issue with the web, I'll also have a look at that so thanks for pointing it out :)

We really appreciate you all playing, glad you all had fun. And thanks for all the great feedback!
This is a cool little game, my only complaint is that it's quite simple. Would have been cool to see some kind of twist on the genre, or maybe some kind of change up as the rounds get harder. Really liked the retro art style though and it seemed like a very polished game for what it was. Really good job!
This is a really interesting entry. Really well made in terms of models and graphics etc. for a jam entry. I just wish there was more to the gameplay to give you a reason to experience it. This is a cool base for a real game though so great job guys!
This is a cool game, I thought the movement mechanics were going to be a bit annoying at first but they turned out to make a really interesting maze like experience. The battling seemed a little simple and I couldn't really figure out which colours were strong against each other as the damage values seemed to change. Either way I managed to clear it quite easily without trying so maybe some balancing needs to be done. Overall it's a really interesting and pretty unique entry so great job!
This is such a cool concept, took a minute or two to really figure out but this is genuinely really unique. It reminds me of a reddit april fools game (in a good way). The only thing I can really fault it for is the graphics, specifically the feedback on your actions is kind of minimal and it can be hard to really figure out what's going on. Really good job guys!
The art is really great and the animations really bring everything together. It's really cool watching the zombies run around. Wish there was some more to the gameplay as I feel like the placing of the summoning circles doesn't really affect much. Overall really good job though guys!
Really cool 3d environment. Love the pac-man style chasing of the ghosts. Unfortunately had a couple instances of the enemies getting stuck. Was quite a simple game when it comes down to actually completing it, maybe puzzles or different enemy types would have spiced things up. Overall really good job though guys!
This is a super cute game. I love mr demon boss, even if he is a little tough on me. Really well polished cutscene stuff and the art is great. I think the actual gameplay is pretty interesting but the movement feels a little clunky (really not bad though. I think my main criticism would have to be that the game doesn't really give you much opportunity to experiment with stuff - I found myself just running back and forth between the bottom two circles because it was easier than trying to figure out what routes to take and hoping that the holes didn't block me.
Overall really good job though this is a great entry!
Really really loved the theming of this one, lots of thought put into the whole streaming thing - the references are great. I'm not sure if there was more depth to the game than I could find but it seemed like I just had to spam click the ingredients and hope for the best. Would have been cool if there was some kind of recipe progression to give a reason for you to keep playing.
Overall really good job guys, awesome entry!
This is a cool use of a 'deck' type game. Everything about the game felt snappy and satisfying. My only critique was that I didn't really feel like I was ever in danger but perfectly tweaking difficulty in a jam is near impossible and better to be winnable than impossible. Really good entry guys
Really cute game. I liked the simplicity of it. I know you opted out of audio but some kind of sounds would have gone a long way, even if you downloaded them premade. The concept for the game was kind of strange, I thought I was doing something wrong when the fish was going down at first, but once I got the hang of it I was having fun so good job!
Really like the visual style in this, very polished too!
Very polished, great job!
This is an interesting change up on classic minesweeper - and a great use of the depth theme. I found the camera controls to be a little awkward but the layer selection was quite good. I'm still unsure on whether the layers interact with each other or not though or if it's effectively just separate games of sweeper but either way it's a cool concept.
I really cool concept for a game. I can tell you might have been hoping for a different theme but a funny game nonetheless. I think some extra sounds for footsteps or interacting with the panels would have gone a long way. Ultimately a fun game, good Job!
Very simple but well executed. Getting and using a bunch of lasers is very satisfying and the damage felt nice. I wish there were a few more ambient sound effects and sounds for shooting the lasers and rockets maybe. The music also didn't loop when it finished but I see you opted out of audio so those things are not really a big deal. Overall really good job though!
Both the embedded player and the download link don't seem to work :(
Please fix so we can rate your game
I really like the visuals and sounds for this, I think some kind of instructions would have helped a lot though as I still don't really know what was going on despite winning
This is great for a first entry. I really like the graphics and the animations feel smooth. The collisions felt a bit off but it wasn't anything major. I felt the shooting could have been a bit more impactful - it didn't really feel like it was worth it taking fights most of the time as you lost more hp than you would get healed back. I ended up just walking past most enemies. A cool little boss fight at the end though and the game runs well. Good job!
This is art
I really like the aesthetic of this game, the animations and sounds really made it feel smooth. I couldn't get the shield to work, not sure if I was just doing it wrong but if so it doesn't feel very intuitive. Unfortunately couldn't get past the boss because every time it killed me my max hp reset and it's went up. Still really fun though. Great job!
It's a really interesting concept. A lot of fun trying to see what words it thinks are allowed and aren't. I wish there was some kind of text to speak for it to sing the bars but I appreciate how much work probably went into just getting the LLM working. Great Job!
This was very bizarre but in a good way. I really liked the camera animations and there's really nice audio feedback for all the actions. I'm not really sure if there was any strategy to the fishing but it felt satisfying when I got a catch nevertheless. The game is pretty simple and the loop does get a bit stale after a while but it was fun while it lasted. Very polished, great job!
Cute little game. I had a bit of trouble starting the game (took about 10 attempts to click before anything happened) but once it worked it was all good. Managed to get all 19 without the hint too, very clever little puzzle. Wish the game was longer
I restarted a few different times but really could not figure out what I was supposed to be doing. I think I eventually understood what each of the stats did but the cards still just seemed to fire off if/when they wanted to. I'm sure with a tutorial or some instructions this could have been really good - add it to your submission page for the next people pls!
@timo5034 would you be able to elaborate more on what was broken? we've not noticed anything like that at all on our end

We all had lots of fun making it and put a lot of effort in, so thank you all for playing and leaving lovely comments ❤️
Going in blind was definitely the best way to play. I felt a little confused at first because I thought I was missing something but once I realised it was kind of just for fun it ended up really enjoyable. I loved seeing how similar and different other peoples drawings were!
Great mood and concept. I wish the ghosts had a little more to them - I was super spooked up until I realised they don't really do much. The UI is great and I can tell by the shop there was meant to be more to this game so I hope you keep working on it. The sensitivity was waaaay to high, even at the lowest the slider would go - I kept confusing myself by turning too quickly. The game itself is cool though, great job!
Quite simple but well made, I liked that it was kind of like a midi reel. Got very hard after the first couple levels but managed to get to the end without losing
I like the concept but it just feels super slow and I don't feel like there's ever any point going far from the ship as it will just take you ages to get back. Nevertheless I beat the game and I think it's a really cool take on the theme. I'm not sure if it was just the web build but the game also felt super stuttery any time I moved.
I struggled to find any trash after the first few and found the npc car hitboxes to be quite big. I enjoyed the game regardless though, simple take on the theme but executed well. I like how the different items affect the vehicle in different ways. Great job!
Interesting one for sure, I felt it get a little monotonous and the controls switching mechanic, whilst novel at first, did become a bit annoying. I think the sensitivity was ridiculously high which made navigating quite difficult also. Nevertheless the eerie vibe was really cool and I liked the art style.

Thanks for playing and the lovely comments! :)
@lohii are you using firefox by any chance, I've had issues with web builds on that in the past, we tested on chrome. Thanks for letting us know though ! We just made a windows build if you want to give it a try again <3
@irkar Thanks for playing! Would you be able to give us any info on your pc specs/browser and if you have hardware acceleration on? We've tested on a range of devices including low end and even mobile and performance was always fine.

Massive thanks for trying out the game and leaving feedback!
Cool little concept, wish you were able to explore it more because it works really well for locating. Would definitely be interested to see where you would have taken this game should you have had more time. But the gameplay that you did have felt very intuitive. Good job!
Really cool take on the theme, and I love how you set it up with the super hero lights. I started to struggle a bit from the bird one onwards as there were so many pieces that it was hard to keep track of what went where- and if your original piece that you put down wasn't quite in the right place you had to start over again. Still really cool game and one of the most unique that I've played for sure. Great job!
Really cool concept for a rogue lite. I love the balatro vibe and it seems to fit nicely with the theming. The music was chill and fitting, wish there was more sound effects to give feedback. I love the art style also, the animations for the playhead with the flying numbers are really satisfying. My one compliant is that I never really knew what was giving me higher numbers and couldn't really tell what made one strategy good and another bad. Ended up making it to the 5k amount though which seems to be the cap for the challenge so I wasn't really struggling, just not sure how you could fail it if that makes sense. Really good job overall though!
I'm not gonna leave a rating as I feel it would be unfair, I just really could not figure out what I was supposed to do. There's lots of things to interact with and clearly lots of things that *could* happen. Maybe you guys could do with a brief instruction on the page explaining the objective? Maybe it's just a skill issue idk.
This is crazy good. Please make sure you rate enough other games to get people to play this, would be such a shame if people don't get to see it.
My only criticism is that the speed limit rules felt a bit like they go against everything else that makes this game fun, and are a little bit awkward to try and keep below. I hope this doesn't make people stop playing because as soon as you get past that first bit it becomes such a fun, silly experience. I love the creative use of the mechanics, and everything handles super smoothly. The art and music are great and and really fit well with everything else. The twists and little gags are also a really fun addition and help keep the game fresh throughout - especially love the ending sequence. Really amazing job guys!
I think this game is held back a little bit by the controls, it's a little awkward not being able to edit the instructions and the rotations feel like they should be relative rather than absolute. Nevertheless the instruction system is pretty cool and it brings back fond memories of those little programming robots you could direct in a similar way to this. Great job!
What an awesome take on the them. I really like the text to speech for the goofy lil guy! I wish it showed more of a replay afterwards that showed you your successful and missed censors, It's quite hard to actually watch the result of your decisions as you are having to constantly scan across the bottom of the screen to read the next words. I liked how there was a few different options for the censor types that you had to try and keep track of. Really good job guys!
This was pretty slick for a jam entry. The platforming felt good and the maps were designed well. I really liked the chaining feature of the sound waves on the bells. Once I got the C ability I think I got soft locked though, whenever I press or hold C it just lags the game out and nothing happens, a shame I would have loved to play more because it was quite fun. Good job though!
@jerrywest it was just in the room where you get the C tap ability, there's a mechanism that (I presume) you have to activate with it, but just whenever I try and use it nothing happens and the FPS of the game goes down to like 1. It fixes after a couple seconds, but it yeah, just can't use it.
This is awesome, I like how you can grind along the top of the cars and busses. It was a bit unclear that the signs were an obstacle and not part of the background until I ran into it for the first time but after that it felt quite slick. The game is pretty simple but you nailed jump sizes and speed imo. And of course it's a really cool concept and interpretation of the theme with the signal going along the wire. Great job!
This is a cool game. It took a while to realise that you had to get the smoke to travel up to the letter in either a dash or dot - before this I wasn't really sure what I was doing wrong as I thought I was doing the letters in order but stuff wouldn't move along until quite a bit after. Regardless, once I realised what was happening it turned out to be a really neat mechanic. I could totally see this being a minigame in some adventure game. Great job!
I think 500 hits on the boss is quite a big requirement from the player and the hitboxes are fairly unforgiving. Nevertheless the bullet hell concept of you having to stay near a controller is really interesting and fits the theme well, and I like the variety of attack patterns the boss does. Great job!
I got to the end but don't think I was actually completing the levels correctly? The controls are quite confusing and difficult to use in my opinion. I love the art style and the theme interpretation is really cool. I love the concept of having to signal to animals in different ways.
This seems like quite a cool concept, I think the difficulty expects a lot from a first time player and you end up having to wander around for quite a while before even knowing what you're looking for. I really like the concept of having to feel your way around though and the effects you've done for this area great.
This seems like a cool game but I couldn't figure out how to interact with the buttons on the monitors - I think it may have been a bug because when I first interact with each of them there is a mouse cursor but it flies off instantly and I don't know how to get it back. The art style and general vibe of this game is cool though and the gameplay seemed interesting, a shame I didn't really get a chance to play properly, would love to try again if you can fix this :)
@daliamha How are you supposed to press the buttons on the screen, when I look at them to input the number nothing I press does anything
@daliamha seems to be fixed now for me, good job!
Very uneasy feeling whilst playing the game, I like voices following you really made me feel tense. I found it got a lot less scary once I saw one of the traumas up close though, they look quite chill xD. The mazes difficulty seemed a bit inconsistent, the first one felt like a decent level of difficulty, but the second I walked for ages and couldn't find a way to get to the sound, then just searched the maze entirely and still couldn't find it (not sure if it was a bugged gen). After purposely dying and retrying the level, it only took about 10 seconds to find it. Nonetheless really cool entry good job!
