What a great fever dream. Was there any rhyme or reason as to which tool did what to which ingredient? I had to just click everything until the ingredients prepared themselves. But I had a good time doing it.
Well done!

@raphiell Thanks haha, no there was no real reason behind the tools, we just took too many pictures and wanted to use them somehow ^^
Hi guys, looked really cool, wanted to play but I couldn't get it to run. Might just be a me problem tho.
@actualtian Hey, thanks! Did you get any errors or anything? And are you on windows or linux?
I like the overall idea of the devil streamcoocking, the textues are quite nice, and I almost rage quitted because I didn't knew how the game worked
Really really loved the theming of this one, lots of thought put into the whole streaming thing - the references are great. I'm not sure if there was more depth to the game than I could find but it seemed like I just had to spam click the ingredients and hope for the best. Would have been cool if there was some kind of recipe progression to give a reason for you to keep playing.
Overall really good job guys, awesome entry!
@pegasys Thank you so much! We had planned a recipe book where you can check unlocked recipes and give some sort of progression to the game, but that unfortunately didn't happen... There is also a lot of rebalancing that could be done due to the amount of factors that go into calculating viewer gain/loss, subscribers, donations, chat happiness, etc. which we couldn't focus on as much as we wanted to.
Maybe in a post-jam update
Game is chaotic, but fun vibes
@zoranac Thanks haha :smile:
@klemen Thanks, you're right we kinda forgot to give some more info on how to play  I just added a how to play section to the description, hopefully that helps
First of all, have you considered adding a web build of your game? I think it would both make it easier to play, as well as fit the aesthetic more. If the game's too large though then I suppose you wouldn't be able to.
Anyways when it comes to the content of the game I would say that it would be nice if there wore more ingredients and if they weren't always running away from you. That recipe book would have been nice to have as well. it's a shame you didn't have the time to implement it. I think if the pace of the game had been a bit more slow and it was mainly focused on strategy and appeasing chat more (rather than chasing those dang ingredients ) then there could have been more potential.
I liked the chat! I was not entirely sure what to do at first, but found the spam clicking to be the viable route. I kept summoning poop though. lol I think I will need to keep playing so I can summon more than poop or salt.
@dymino Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately Godot 4 does not yet support web builds when using C#, but i agree a web build would be a lot better for jam games... We're used to in person jams where it's less of an issue.
@kevvy Glad to hear you managed it
By the way, I see you haven't gotten any karma from leaving feedback yet. Are you aware that in Ludum Dare, the amount of people your game is recommended to is based on the amount of other peoples' games that you leave feedback for. I believe feedback means leaving a comment, not just rating.
@dymino I'm aware, thanks! Just haven't gotten to leaving any feedback yet, will probably do that tomorrow
@kevvy you can also check out the fixed build i just uploaded if you want, it fixes an issue with recipe parsing which might be the reason you only managed to cook Inferno Salt Sprinkle
I love the innovative way you provide instructions through the chat interface, and the quirky concept of roleplaying as Satan while streaming is truly unique and engaging. However, I have a small suggestion regarding the clarity of the ingredient statuses. Sometimes, the ingredients appear to be chopped because their eyes resemble 'xx', which leads me to click 'summon', only to realize they could have been chopped finer and thus aren't ready to be cooked. Then I need to restart the process. The description suggests referring to the recipe, but if I don’t get the recipe right the first time, I dont have any recipies. Is it due to my misunderstanding?
Really interesting visual style, especially the integrated photos. Loved the premise, the twitch stream setup along with usernames and comments added of lot of humor to the game but I found it a little difficult to play and follow what was going on with what tool did what.
Was a little confused at first but this is a very unique idea and I had some fun with it. Good entry!
After reading the description of the game I was hyped. The Twitch chat culture was perfectly recreated! At some point I thought that I'm really streaming! Very well done here!
The gameplay though wasn't great to be honest, or I didn't understand it. Correct me if I was doing something wrong: 1) I was clicking fast on the ingredients that float on the screen, each ingredient has three states; "alive", "dead", and "prepared", with the exception of chili peppers that have only two states. Challenge here was to aim and click fast on quickly moving objects and each ingredient had to be cut twice otherwise it was unusable. 2) Only when prepared you are able to start summoning, and then based on the combination of prepared ingredients, something can come up and make the chat go full Poggers. 3) If the combination of ingredients is wrong, you get a poo. If it is correct, you get something. 4) Recipe book doesn't work currently?
I managed to get melted cheese with chili (cheese/chili) and some nachos/fries (cheese/potato/chili), but I've tried many other and nothing worked; tried potato + salt hoping for some fries, tried meat and salt, meat/potato/salt, meat/chili, meat/garlic, cheese/potato for baked potato with cheese, many different combos. I tried to look into the chat for hints and I it scrolled too fast (like in real life) or their suggestions were unclear like infernal veggies? Sounds like potato/garlic (veggies) + chili (infernal) but it didn't work.
First time I won even when I didn't summon anything other than poop, so it was still possible to do that.
Obviously time was a constraint during the jam, but I would like to see changes to main clicking mechanic, make it like a timing or a rhythm challenge to cut something properly. Use different tools for stuff etc.
So the gameplay was a bit disappointing, but the idea of it being a stream, the chat, sounds and alerts, text-to-speach comments, subscription and the whole streaming framework were absolutely delightful.
