LD44 — Your life is currency

The Tree of Bounty by gelisam 2019-04-30T22:45:34Z

Interesting take on Conway's game of life, and very fun to figure out how to get to berries. I'd have to say next time to keep the recorder out of the sound track.

Well done!

BCoin - currency simulator by wdebowicz 2019-05-01T12:06:05Z

Very unique game, and fun to figure out. After a certain point I was just able to mash the up and down arrows to get infinite height. The graph was nice. Capture.PNG Only suggestion I would have is a sound that gets higher as you fly higher.

Well done!

Sofa Kingdom: Change of Thrones by LandoSystems 2019-04-30T22:22:25Z

Very cool, only problem I ran into was sometimes the coins got stuck on ledges, and I wasn't able to get them back!

Overall, very impressive, good art, animation, and music.

Reap into Cash by vulpineblazeyt 2019-04-30T22:25:36Z

A fun little romp for sure, I loved the Reaper sprite at the end!

Space Rabbit by Baraa Marwan 2019-05-09T12:06:20Z

I enjoyed the graphics but believe more content would really let this shine. Well done!

Heirlooms by TheLashghost 2019-05-21T12:09:59Z

I'm not quite sure how to do anything, but I enjoyed the simple visuals and the inclusion of music was nice.

The Devil's Lettuce by Joseph Manley 2019-05-01T03:22:28Z

I admire your ambition, and the game + trailer were definitely funny! If you keep at it after the jam, it could turn into something.

Demon of Doom by JPiolho 2019-05-21T12:04:07Z

Well done. I liked the graphics but the controls were a bit floaty, mouse aiming would have been a good feature.

Elevator Pitch by Hugimugi7 2019-05-01T22:31:34Z

Looks great, sounds great, has interesting gameplay, and is funny! I think your team did amazingly well! Only complaint I have is that the elevator ride to the boss wasn't long enough!

Bloodbarn by Honest Dan 2019-05-01T23:03:48Z

Good concept and well executed. I liked the look of it, and the music was nice in the background. My only complaint was it was difficult to tell I was hitting any vegetables, and there were too many options at the start.

Overall, very impressive, well done!

Sinking Town by detectiveLosos 2019-04-30T22:36:24Z

The game looks great! I unfortunately got stuck in the ground and couldn't get out. The music was nice and not too intrusive, and despite not much dialog, I loved the characters.

Well done!

Sinking Town by detectiveLosos 2019-05-01T11:40:45Z

@annie-owl It was actually in the middle of town that I got stuck. I was using the booster legs and jumped from the tower.

Breathe of The Fox by Miles Seventh 2019-05-01T22:42:48Z

Loved the game, this is what I love to see from LD. The graphics were nice, even if the alien ship was a bit bare, and levels were satisfying to finally complete!

Well done!

Snots Quest by Lodugh 2019-05-02T12:09:30Z

Cool little game. I loved the upgrade mechanic, and all the graffiti on the walls. The sound and art design are both good as well! The only thing I would have liked is either and upgrade to jumping, or make the platforming a little easier, it at least felt like I needed almost pixel perfect jumps

Well done!

Minus by DrSkort 2019-04-30T03:53:26Z

I enjoyed the art and music, both are well done. I think improvement could be made on the platforming, as it's very quick and easy to make mistakes.

Well done!

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-04-30T14:45:47Z

@tfdiaz Thanks for the review! I'm proud of the music, this LD was the first time I tried adding music, and I think it turned out well!

@landosystems Thanks for reviewing! I tried to separate my days into gameplay/graphics, and I think it payed off in the way the game looks. I think I'll be keeping this strategy in the future.

@vulpineblazeyt Thanks for the review! I wanted it to feel like a big futuristic city, and I'm glad to hear it feels that way.

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-01T01:10:41Z

@michaelsonbritt Thanks for playing and reviewing! I agree that there is no real way to play around the enemies, other than killing them before they hit you. As for what getting hit does, it simply reduces the timer to the next sense loss, I should have mentioned that somewhere!

@nico-fallosch Thanks for playing and reviewing! I'm glad people are enjoying the animations I made for the character, I felt like I spent way too much time on him, but it looks like it paid off.

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-01T03:13:46Z

@konsumopfer77 Always look on the bright side! Thanks for playing!

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-01T11:43:07Z

@banzi Thanks for playing and reviewing!

@annie-owl Thanks for playing and reviewing! I agree that I should have put some time into ways to actually avoid the bullets, rather than just killing them before they can hit you. I wanted to add ducking, but never got around to it.

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-01T13:55:56Z

@duke Thanks for playing and reviewing! I do wish I could have made the combat more dynamic, but unfortunately I didn't get all of Monday to work on it. Next LD, I think I'll take it off! The consequence of getting hit isn't obvious for sure, but it just reduces the timer to the next sense/ability loss.

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-01T19:25:45Z

@purrseus Thanks for playing and reviewing. I'm proud of the sound and art, as this LD I tried to put time into those! As for finishing the game, yes it is possible. You can hit 'V' to show the map. This isn't talked about in the instructions because it's told to you once you complete the game, so you can view the whole map. That should help you find the way to go!

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-01T22:18:26Z

@wdebowicz Thanks for playing and reviewing!

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-02T01:09:51Z

@caveman54 Thanks for playing and reviewing! I'm sorry it didn't run well for you, it's probably because game maker isn't the most optimized engine! Glad you still had fun though!

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-02T02:05:53Z

@dan-colman Thanks for playing and reviewing! I agree that theme is kinda loosely related, I got too focused on the gameplay and art!

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-02T11:53:39Z

@taqoshaq Thanks for playing, reviewing, and getting me over the 20 review point! I agree that the sense loss is more of a "cool" feature. The only one I tried to make affect gameplay was leg strength by reducing jump height, but that ended up making you not be able to finish the game! Definitely something to think about if I continue working on it. Thanks again!

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-02T21:50:15Z

@hugimugi7 Thanks for playing and reviewing! I admit that I should have been more clear about how to finish the game. If you keep climbing up, you should find it. There's no need to kill all the robots!

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-06T13:06:11Z

@beastiebeastie Thanks for playing and reviewing. I'm glad you enjoyed the art and music, I put a lot of time into those this time around. I agree the game can be difficult, and a time-increasing pickup would be a good idea. Thanks for the feedback.

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-08T15:41:29Z

@314owen Thanks for the review! I appreciate the positive feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-09T01:02:01Z

@zoneoutapps Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the idea!

Cyberpunk 2076: Independence Day by Raphiell 2019-05-16T01:28:55Z

@peterfonts Thanks for playing and leaving a review! The camera idea would definitely be an improvement. It went across my mind briefly during development, but I promptly forgot it! I'll definitely keep better camera work in mind for future projects.

Thanks!

Bullet Roon by spenn 2019-05-21T11:59:42Z

Well done! The shooting mechanics were clean, but I think a few more items in the shop and more enemy variety would make this better!

Deadrun by jcmoyer 2019-05-02T01:14:50Z

I absolutely LOVE the creepy atmosphere, the fade in seeing all those skulls on level 3 was great. My only suggestion would be lowering the look sensitivity, and maybe some variety in the types of death that come after you. Very cool!

Well done!

Superhero Movie Universe Simulator by halfmule 2019-05-02T01:24:15Z

Very interesting! A nice idea and getting the achievements was fun. Well done!

Shadow Seekers by Caveman54 2019-05-02T12:16:55Z

Well done! I liked the fact that you implemented random dungeon generation, and when I finally realized that wonky shadow under me was some sort of demon that could shoot projectiles! I would have liked if the knight moved a little faster, and if it could tell you what the items did.

Black and White Dungeon by YiNian 2019-05-01T12:01:08Z

Very cool concept! The gameplay was enjoyable and the mechanic worked well. Does the ninja scroll overwrite the romantic swordsman? If so, I guess I wasted a life! For the floor sprite, I think removing some of it would be a simple way to make it look better, I just think there was too much going on in the floor.

Well done!

Currency Lane by Cody Nguyen 2019-05-08T01:02:57Z

Well done! I enjoyed the music, but the sound effects were a little shrill and loud. In addition it was hard to tell which lane coins were in. Good little game.

BankRoll by Kharibidus 2019-05-01T03:49:19Z

Very well done. A fun and interesting experience. A good take on the theme and on platforming.

I would suggest is make the turning a little less floaty, it was quite easy to overshoot a turn, as well as letting you roll backwards.

Well done!

Everything is Money! by OgelGames 2019-05-03T12:18:05Z

Well done! While simplistic, everything that is here is solid. I had issues with the sound getting incredibly loud sometimes, but that's the only issue. For improvements, if the pigs destroyed any coins they touched that would give players a reason take to speed, so they can grab the coins faster.

Very cool!

Tetris: Tempo by Valid 2019-05-01T22:49:45Z

Well polished, and an amazing concept! I think there were too many controls though, maybe only have one available to buy at a time, and it changes periodically?

Overall, well done and very impressive!

Deenero by Carlos Salazar 2019-05-09T12:13:06Z

I enjoyed the conversations but found the text resizing while it was written really disorienting.

Protect The Dungeon by MashUpGames 2019-05-09T01:00:12Z

Definitely a fun little romp! Once I learned I could stack monsters on top of each other, it got a lot easier! Captur2e.PNG Looks like the money stops displaying properly when you get too rich!

Well done!

Life//Time Paradoxon by GreenDinoGames 2019-05-01T23:18:47Z

Cool idea where you can trade time for life, and I loved the music. The close up camera made it very claustrophobic and tense. My only complaint is that it's a maze, and I don't like mazes haha.

Well done!

LifeMutation by sparkysam5 2019-05-08T01:12:17Z

Interesting little game for sure! Well done.

The Last Drop by Fiiction 2019-05-01T04:02:01Z

This is the kind of stuff I love seeing come out of Ludum Dare! Impressive on all fronts! Well done.

D.R.I.E.D. by JasonD 2019-04-30T01:47:24Z

Wow! I loved it! The only complaint I have is spaces where I didn't encounter anything. I felt that game was short anyways, and that could help in improving, and potentially making it more difficult.

Overall, very impressive! Well done you guys!

D.R.I.E.D. by JasonD 2019-04-30T03:43:28Z

@jasond I'll just have to keep my out for any futures versions of this, should they come out! I ran into a similar issue with content on my game, there's just never enough time hey?

The Ball's Path by EricRou 2019-05-01T11:52:22Z

Well done! Having an ingame tutorial was refreshing, but I kept getting stuck at the beginning because if I got took close to the practice targets, my shooting got disabled. After I killed them from a distance, and moved on to the rest of the level, my shooting was once again disabled once reaching the triangles. I also enjoyed the dialog, especially "Hello (again) ball".

Underbello by Waldinx 2019-04-30T22:58:05Z

WOW! This game had everything. Music, humour, theme, art, design, good gameplay. This is very impressive! I loved when the large red demons used their spinning attacks. I didn't manage to defeat (what I assume was) the boss, so I'll definitely be coming back to this.

Invade Spacers by Sisyphean Games 2019-05-09T00:38:59Z

Sweet little game! I found the controls a bit confusing when you went on to the other sides, but it was quite fun! Well done!

Dungeon Life by Yadi 2019-05-08T01:07:33Z

Well done! I enjoyed the sound design! The atmosphere was good. It seemed like buying more potions of light didn't increase my vision. As well I found it was hard to tell when my attacks would hit, or when opponents would be hitting me.

LD45 — Start with nothing

World Collector by Joe Williamson 2019-10-09T01:42:21Z

Really well done. Very impressive.

Well done!

Starting From Nothing by sorlok 2019-10-12T03:51:18Z

The mechanics were good and the inspect feature was a great addition.

I found the gameplay quite slow and it took a long time to get through any amount of story.

Well done, and bravo for tackling this topic!

The Monumental Race by NIGIC 2019-10-09T01:20:21Z

Very interesting, I loved the idea, and would love to get more into the game and strategy. It's a bit obtuse though.

Well done.

Rude Bear Refurbished by alexrose 2019-10-12T04:11:31Z

Very amusing! I found some trouble getting through doors though.

Well done!

Mall-icious Intent by superjai 2019-10-09T01:26:13Z

I really enjoyed reading the signs in the background. I found that W and S didn't really do anything?

Well done!

Duck Fortress by shrapx 2019-10-08T23:16:53Z

I enjoyed the humor of your post! I found the game difficult to control, but easy enough to figure out what to do.

Well done!

Asset Stream by aevek 2019-10-12T04:49:59Z

Very cool, I enjoyed the different weapons and the enemies looked cool! I noticed the player was the default pill too, haha. One thing I would change is slow the player down, I was rocketing across the obstacles!

Well done.

Among by Antti Haavikko 2019-10-10T22:54:35Z

I enjoyed the puzzles but found that you can randomly die when jumping up into solid blocks.

A good entry for sure, well done!

Neon OverDOSe by Don Fouts 2019-10-09T00:32:37Z

Wow! Very impressive game! I loved the mood in it, the art was great, and it was a really cool concept. Some of the levels I found were easy because you could just make him stuck in one spot using conveyors until the last 2-3 moves. My biggest gripe was sometimes it was difficult to remove items with right click.

Very well done!

WayMaker by Deatrathias 2019-10-09T21:20:16Z

A fun little puzzler for sure, the only thing I would have liked better was being able to pick up pieces rather than resetting the whole level.

Well done!

Terra Nil - Reclaim the Wasteland by vfqd 2019-10-09T00:57:07Z

Fantabulous all around. Beautiful art, lovely music, fun gameplay. It was a fun little puzzle game for sure.

Really well done!

Adventure Bag by Raphiell 2019-10-07T12:16:36Z

@tarfield Unfortunately you need the key item, but I neglected to make an event that actually gives it to you yet... I plan to add it in the 30 minutes I have after work today before the jam ends! (Or in a post-jam version)

Adventure Bag by Raphiell 2019-10-08T23:43:44Z

@stefanie-leitch Yea Unfortunately I never added an ending. Thanks for playing!

@xedur I would have loved to make a better instructions screen, it definitely is a wall of text. Will have to improve it if a post-jam version is made. Thanks for playing!

Adventure Bag by Raphiell 2019-10-08T23:51:39Z

@bassguitarbill Thanks for playing! I definitely agree it can feel a bit hopeless. Game balance took a backseat, but thankfully I designed the events and items in a way that they are easy to add. So extra content will be a big focus in a post-jam version.

Adventure Bag by Raphiell 2019-10-09T12:52:02Z

@slagathor Thanks for playing! I really enjoyed making the hand! I really like how this art style turned out.

@andre-fremaux I definitely agree, the tutorial could use a lot of work. Thanks for playing!

Adventure Bag by Raphiell 2019-10-10T00:56:51Z

@don-fouts Thanks for playing! I hope a bigger variety of items and events will make it shine a bit more

Adventure Bag by Raphiell 2019-10-10T18:36:53Z

@savvy-community Thanks for playing! Yeah I hope to add those soon! Unfortunately life sees it fit to keep me from creating a post ld version! I'll probably take a crack at it this weekend.

@honey-pony I agree finding a balance could be difficult. Thanks for playing! Oh and thank you for complimenting the art, I'm very happy with how it turned out!

Adventure Bag by Raphiell 2019-10-12T16:41:58Z

@empty-set Thanks for playing and thanks for the suggestions! Progression would be nice for sure, in order to make it into a proper roguelike.

Adventure Bag by Raphiell 2019-10-20T14:49:35Z

@itsdanidre Thanks for playing the game! A little more oomph for either the animations or sounds when something happens would help a lot I agree!

HEARTSCAPE by ZakAmana 2019-10-09T01:03:42Z

Very impressive. Definitely a top entry this ludum dare. Looking forward to more content!

Very Well done!

Galactic Letters by Kamulec 2019-10-08T23:08:33Z

An interesting mash-up of ideas! I found it hard to aim with the arrow keys, and it would have been nice to be able to hold z to keep shooting.

Well done!

Jared's Fresh Start by DrCheetos 2019-10-09T00:13:22Z

Wow! That was impressive, I really loved using the rocket launcher. Is it possible to switch between weapons you've picked up?

Well done!

Genesis by SpacialSeasoning 2019-10-12T03:57:42Z

An interesting idea, but even with the instructions included I found it hard to determine what to do.

Making a game isn't easy though, well done!

Medieval Mayhem by itsTripp 2019-10-09T00:44:18Z

It felt really cool to run around exploring the area. Felt very doom-y. I found that some guidance at the start of the game would help, I wasn't sure what to do.

World of Nothing by DS Nahogara 2019-10-08T23:24:02Z

I enjoyed the art, but the screen shake really did me in. I think you could dial it down quite a bit.

Flat Empire by Dani Riwez 2019-10-08T23:29:57Z

Good presentation, but I think I got stuck when I attacked the wrong nation first in the second part of the game.

Well done!

Population by solwllms 2019-10-09T17:42:38Z

Very cool, I love city builders in the style of the old sim city games.

One thing I noticed was that I could place solar farms in the water.

Well done!

boris.PNG

Lost Flagship by Wolf4D 2019-10-08T23:40:55Z

I was impressed by the opening but unfortunately I ran into a bug that stopped my troops from being able to attack.

Well done!

Wanderings of a High School Boy by 2 Odd Diodes 2019-10-12T04:32:55Z

Very good art design, my only complaint would be it takes too long to get between rooms, as exploring them all was important.

Well done!

One Red Paperclip by Andre Fremaux 2019-10-09T21:28:17Z

I loved the background art and the game was quite peaceful.

I would change the point where it shows you space is interact to later when you actually can interact.

Well done!

Cactorio! by AploveStudio 2019-10-13T20:41:42Z

Wow! I can't believe you haven't gotten more ratings. A fun small game for sure. The debug and hell mode features are a lot of fun to mess around with.

Zooming out would be a nice feature.

Well done!

Build Up by Deadlykarrot 2019-10-08T23:50:36Z

I was excited to climb higher, but I found the controls a bit difficult to manage, I think moving some of the controls over to the mouse would have helped.

Well done.

LD46 — Keep it alive

GRAVITY. by ben657 2020-04-23T23:15:17Z

Very cool! An interesting little time sink for sure, I could spend hours trying to perfect my orbits. Well done!

Life of the Party by jelch 2020-04-24T00:44:52Z

An excellent little adventure. The humor is definitely helped by the silly, while charming art. The music is really the finishing touch to make this something special. Well done!

Tamagotchi Mastermind by Khud0 2020-04-24T00:28:59Z

Although short, it's got all the makings of a released game. A consistent art style, music, and good controls. Very impressive!

Dr Paparapa by knarf 2020-04-21T22:03:25Z

Unfortunately it froze before I could get into the actual game. I'm glad you participated though! I didn't manage to get anything released for my 3rd Ludum Dare, but now I'm onto my fifth! Hang in there.

Dr Paparapa by knarf 2020-04-23T02:56:12Z

It's working for me now! Thanks for uploading a working version. I think using the arrows keys is not the best decision, as I can't hit all the arrows with one hand, without using my thumb, it's just a bit uncomfortable. It is unfortunate that it got difficult to work on this game by the third day, I would have liked to see it fleshed out more. Thanks for taking the effort to upload a playable version!

Guardian Reaper by Raphiell 2020-04-21T15:28:19Z

@incinious Thank you! I think I should have spent more time on actually crafting clever puzzles, and some more traps. But the other features took more time than expected.

Thanks for playing.

Guardian Reaper by Raphiell 2020-04-22T02:56:10Z

@rafa-braga Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the level design and humour! I really enjoyed working on the background as well. Yea music would be good, maybe next jam!

Guardian Reaper by Raphiell 2020-04-23T14:21:22Z

@ben657 Thanks for playing! I loved doing the art for this game! I was really proud of the walk cycle for tom in particular!

Guardian Reaper by Raphiell 2020-04-23T14:22:08Z

@shubh Thanks for playing! Yea I definitely see the potential to do more! The long walk at the end was actually made cause I ran out of time to make more content haha!

Guardian Reaper by Raphiell 2020-04-23T14:23:11Z

@literal-games Thanks for playing! I'm glad you found it funny! I recently played The Messenger, and was inspired by the conversations between the shopkeeper and you in that game. I feel like the influence came through!

Guardian Reaper by Raphiell 2020-04-23T14:24:42Z

@ditam Thanks for playing! I tried using a restricted 32 color palette to try to force some consistency in the art, and it looks like it paid off! I used Arne's 32 Color palette in Aseprite. For the ranking, I should have added a "No dialog" mode to streamline the replay process!

Guardian Reaper by Raphiell 2020-04-23T14:25:15Z

@khud0 Thanks for playing! I can't wait to check your game out!

Guardian Reaper by Raphiell 2020-04-23T14:26:40Z

@chocolat-endive Thanks for playing! Yes the speech sounds were a requirement placed by my wife haha, she loves beep speech in video games. I definitely need to work on my music skills for next ld, so that I can hopefully add some!

Guardian Reaper by Raphiell 2020-04-23T14:27:17Z

@llewellyn-and-michael Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! It was very fun to make!

Guardian Reaper by Raphiell 2020-04-23T23:07:43Z

@jelch Thanks for playing! I definitely could have balanced the puzzle vs. reflex part of it a bit better. I'm glad you liked the humor!

Guardian Reaper by Raphiell 2020-04-29T20:03:07Z

@madewink Thanks for playing! I definitely made the spikes way too tough, I've heard that from some players.

@vesper Thanks for playing! A volume control would have been a great idea, you're right. I'll keep it in mind for next year. I'm glad you enjoyed the humor!

Guardian Reaper by Raphiell 2020-05-13T13:18:45Z

@hello-st Thanks for playing! I agree with the text boxes and dialog sections, definitely could have made those better, and shorter!

@elysiagriffin Thanks for playing!

An interesting game loop that could keep me entertained for a long time! Well done!

The Well of the Past by Chocolat-Endive 2020-04-24T23:14:19Z

Very fun to read, and also fun to go over a second time. The music was great and very fitting. Well done!

One Tiny Plant by incinious 2020-04-21T17:20:00Z

Very fun! The first level was a bit tedious, but the second level is very fun and funny. As others have, got a crash right before 3rd stage.

Great graphics and audio! Well done!

Savior❤ by ShreyasRao_TS 2020-04-24T00:48:43Z

Fun quick little game. I had an issue with the sound, it kept changing volume, even getting so high pitched for the healing sound that I had to take my headphones off for a second. Otherwise well done! I loved the hearts coming from the cube you save in the title screen, very cute.

KOGOSEI by Benjouille 2020-04-24T12:27:27Z

It seems like by the end it forces you to lose by closing one of the two windows for too long, besides that, well done!

Paid In Full by BlackMambaJesus 2020-04-21T22:42:10Z

It would have been nice to have the text not be under the character, maybe have it read out to the player before the timer starts.

Funny concept, well done.

Orbital Stations by Rafa Braga 2020-04-21T23:26:41Z

I think there was an extra station between general mines and venus city, I got the text for venus city, but the station indicator stayed at the mines. The time between stations could be reduced.

Anyways, great way to show off your pixel art! Well done!

Orbital Stations by Rafa Braga 2020-04-22T02:54:55Z

@rafa-braga I played it all the way through, till at the end the only friend is the end, that's how it went right? Happy to play it!

A Tree by ditam 2020-04-24T00:25:26Z

It was a bit unclear at first how to get the resources I needed, but once I figured it out it was a nice little puzzle. It would be nice not to switch back to the leaves when moving time forward.

Well done!

Life of the Party by Arash Tadjiki 2020-04-24T23:27:24Z

Interesting for sure! I found the sensitivity was too high, but other than that found the controls fine. A few more things to do to get the party started would be good. Well done!

Dying Plant by Shubh 2020-04-23T23:21:15Z

Congrats on finishing a game for your first ludum dare! As others have said, it's a good start, and I liked the art! Some more direction on what to do would be nice.

Well done!

Sacred Guard by larsspawn 2020-04-23T02:35:53Z

I liked the tileset for the map and the audio was nice overall. An indicator on how much things cost would be nice.

Well done!

The Last Dragon by Lisichka 2020-04-23T02:46:08Z

I liked the audio and the graphics! The jumping was a bit floaty and the game could be lengthened. I really enjoyed the lore at the beginning.

One thing I noticed was that the sound was very quiet, had to pump up my volume a lot.

Well done!

Brave Lampguard by Miragical games 2020-04-21T22:33:50Z

The link returns a 404 error. Please let me know if that gets fixed, and I will play the game!

Olive and Kale by Rea 2020-04-24T12:18:54Z

A cute little game for sure. It took my one failed run to figure out how to actually play, but the second run was good! One thing I noticed was the apple tree was so tall it was hard to notice the check above it. Well done!

Battery Has Died by LenTheElephant 2020-04-21T22:32:43Z

Unfortunately I broke the phone on my second run and the messages came out of order. Otherwise, a nice creepy couple of minutes. One thing I would suggest is capturing the cursor, as it gave me some issues with 2 monitors.

Well done!

Planet Wrapper by KevKraft 2020-04-21T17:06:10Z

I like the art, and the music is soothing. Some direction could help though. Is there an ending? I got to max water and bacteria.

Well done! Thanks for participating!

Alien Medicine by PIPS 2020-04-23T03:02:41Z

Nice little shooter, the fact that the gun shot automatically was a bit strange. I liked the opening sequence, and sounds/music.

I figured out you can just shoot the main enemy right from the start and win, as you deal damage faster than the green agents. Maybe that was just chance though!

Well done!

Keep the flame alive (adventures of an arsonist) by Llewellyn and Michael 2020-04-24T00:37:46Z

A sort of map feature would be nice, I find them confusing and I'm not sure which way to go. Well done!

Run Run It by Vildas 2020-04-21T22:54:53Z

It's too bad the main character model got corrupted! It was possible to get out of bounds and get unlimited score.

The music was nice, and you can always work on the game post jam to add some of those features!

Potato Server by Syned 2020-04-21T22:59:33Z

This could really do with a bit more description in the game page.

Otherwise, music and graphics were good, was it inspired by Nier Automata? I loved the transition from the 1st area to the second.

Well done!

Keep It Alive by Kristoffer 2020-04-21T17:27:12Z

Nice art! A quick tutorial on the game page would be nice, but it's not too complicated. Can you unlock more towers in any way?

Well done! Hope you had a good first LDJam!

Block Runner 2049 by LandoSystems 2020-10-08T01:13:26Z

Interesting additional mechanics added. I had some trouble with the controls at the start (my fault) and totally botched it up, still had a good time though!

Well done

Orbital Blast by pvg 2020-10-26T23:41:22Z

It was fun, I got to 1300 points. I found the keyboard controls weren't working properly, they would stop working at certain angles. Mouse worked fine though. Also the main menu button didn't work after I died.

Well done!

Get Those Votes! by frosty 2020-10-11T21:16:54Z

Nickleback concert, a true disaster.

This game was really interesting! I got demolished by my opponent, but I had fun exploring the content you put in there. The audio was amusing and the UI was really solid.

This was a really solid entry, It's a shame you don't have more reviews!

RevolveWare by Fatsheep 2020-10-08T00:57:46Z

What a solid entry, I only wish there was more! Love the art style, audio, and the humor. Well done.

Red Baddies in Blue Sky Town by citsua 2020-10-27T00:25:01Z

Fun little game, great and executed well. I found it a bit hard to hit enemies with bullets. When I played extreme difficulty, it forced me to use the traps to kill the bad guys, which was really fun.

Well done!

Purgatory is a Music Store by MattWoelk 2020-10-16T01:30:23Z

Well done!

Demongraft by kazuo256 2020-10-10T20:44:34Z

Wow! A solid entry. Perfectly executes the theme and looks good doing it. The controls felt a bit janky, but figuring out and executing what I needed to close the loop was fun!

Well done!

stuck spinning =[ by pinneh 2020-10-07T01:25:04Z

Got a couple lag spikes when the particles got really crazy, could probably tone down the number of particles, especially when they explode, looked like a bunch.

Fun little game, well done and congrats on finishing a game for the jam!

Wage Slave by Riker Greenslade 2020-10-17T00:23:47Z

Absolutely hilarious! I laughed out loud when the managers special came up, especially cause I wanted to save up a $1 tip, and it came up when I was at 99 cents!

Funny, good art, great critique of corporations. Well done!

A Certain Particle Chamber by Baturinsky 2020-10-09T20:02:45Z

Super interesting puzzle game, I found it started lagging in some of later levels when there were lots of paths and they had to loop tonnes of times.

Well done!

Energy Loop by SpaceMonkey 2020-10-26T23:47:28Z

Hung On Justice by Raphiell 2020-10-06T02:38:06Z

@m-trigo Thanks for playing. Dodge rolling was in the works at one point, but got scrapped. Our spin on the theme was taking stuck in a loop to represent being hung in a noose and the character uses a noose to fight.

Hung On Justice by Raphiell 2020-10-07T13:01:05Z

@jake-white Thanks for playing. I KNOW! I love the character animations too. My teammate really outdid themselves 😁.

@axlplosion Thanks for playing! I'm super happy with how the gameplay came out, glad to hear you think the same!

Hung On Justice by Raphiell 2020-10-07T19:48:46Z

@spawncampgames Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

@fatsheep Thanks for playing! Yea, I tried adding indicators for when it was fully charged, but I think some more obvious ones are needed. One idea was animating your cursor to show full charge, but we didn't get that far!

Hung On Justice by Raphiell 2020-10-07T21:58:56Z

Hung On Justice by Raphiell 2020-10-11T21:05:21Z

@frosty Thanks for playing, sorry you had to use it on a trackpad!

@honey Thanks for playing, and the awesome feedback. I appreciate the time you took to write it out. I definitely agree there is a difficulty spike, and hiding the first enemy after a blind jump was a bad call. I think a good solution to some of these issues is more tutorial area, and a larger screen size, so enemies don't surprise you so much.

Thanks again!

@acaral Thanks for playing! I definitely spent time I should have spent developing, just playing around and watching the animations! My teammate did a fantastic job.

@666savior Thanks for playing, yea the difficulty spike is a bit much, easing the player in so they have time to develop the skills would have worked better.

Hung On Justice by Raphiell 2020-10-16T00:54:49Z

Hung On Justice by Raphiell 2020-10-27T23:54:01Z

@makiyoshi Thanks so much for playing! My partner did the art and animations, and I really liked them too! Yea, setting him back a little bit would be prudent, thanks for the feedback.

In road way by Rs11s21n 2020-10-26T23:13:10Z

Great mood art and music. Was not able to figure out the riddle, and didn't really try for more than a few minutes, if the stones were closer, it would be nice as I could try things more quickly.

Well done!

Lasso'em up! by honey 2020-10-11T21:53:06Z

Took a bit to figure out the controls and how to handle the cattle, but after that I was getting them back to the barn every time.

Great art, it's a shame you didn't get more time! I also liked that your game is also western and noose/lasso themed!

Well done!

The Elder Ruins by amkingTRP 2020-10-10T21:58:07Z

The art style reminded me of flash games of old, and the puzzles were fun! Having to aim before shooting was a bit annoying, and didn't seem to serve a purpose.

Overall, well done and congrats on finishing a game for the jam!

Suicidal Boyfriend by Federico Giorgi 2020-10-06T00:11:11Z

It took a couple of rounds to get a hang of things, and to know what's out-of-place so I can use it as a clue. Having the hints stay longer than the loading screen would be nice, as it loaded so fast I could barely read them.

I loved the art, and respect the choice of the difficult topic.

Well done on completing your game!

BipBoop.exe by Julien Darras 2020-10-10T22:27:28Z

Well done, great entry.

A Loop to Save The World by Crazybot 2020-10-09T19:51:36Z

Great job on this game! It was fun, but I found having to wait for the game to rewind all the progress I made was a bit tedious, if it were a bit faster that would be nice. Besides that, it looked good and was interesting.

12 Space Diamonds by José Bonilla 2020-10-09T19:22:50Z

Enjoyed the game, but I would have it enjoyed it much more if the stopping your rotation mechanic was removed, i found myself always going off course because I didn't hit x. It made the controls feel floaty and was quite frustrating.

Besides that though it was fantastic! Awesome music, and really fun. Well done.

A fantastic little puzzler. I'll admit the first few levels I thought were pretty easy, but when the bouncing pads hit I was engaged again. Definitely had a good time with this. One thing that was a little bothersome were the controls, if you let the player hit the jump button a couple of frames after leaving a platform that would do a lot to make it feel responsive.

Congrats on finishing a game for the jam!

Escape! by toby1645 2020-10-09T19:28:21Z

As the comment above, it did make me think of I wanna be the guy. If that's what you were going for, great, but otherwise some puzzles didn't have any way to figure them out besides brute force, which I imagine is frustrating when playing on hard mode.

Either way, well done on completing a game for the jam!

Loopshoots by Stipple3D by stipple3D 2020-10-05T23:53:26Z

The balls come back down in too quick succession, it's often impossible to reach more than one unless you're really lucky. Staggering them a bit more would be good. Also, when you lose balls, bringing the new ball wait counter to a lower number would be good, I was at one point waiting for the one ball to go through 80 loops before getting a second.

Good job on completing a game for Ludum Dare!

Worm Excavation League by HacksawUnit 2021-05-18T19:58:47Z

Really cool! Didn't have a chance to play it with 2 ppl as of yet, so I was trying to play both players haha. Well done!

Worm Excavation League by HacksawUnit 2021-05-18T20:37:48Z

Tried it again with 2, and it was a blast! During one game we both go to the point where we had 100+ seconds left with the worm, because of all the green gems. Maybe at some point they should stop spawning, in favor of diamonds.

Greenception by AVAVT 2021-05-17T15:39:29Z

Fantastic entry! I got to the chill wind level before I accidentally left the game page and lost all my progress

It would be nice if there was an option to tone down the particle effects, because when I was planting 100+ plants, it would start to lag.

I was super engaged and tried my best to play it to the end, well done.

Drilling Rig by Bitheral 2021-05-18T19:36:23Z

I had fun figuring out how to get out of the map cap 2.PNG

Shovel Guy by NotSpaghettiGames 2021-05-04T02:25:07Z

Great idea, but the fact that restart puts you all the way to start was not fun :(

Other than that, well done!

Derpy Deep Drive by Extrone 2021-05-04T01:48:18Z

Fantastic entry! What a blast to play. I reached the end I think, 2,231m?

Well done!

Deep Dive by Joshuc 2021-05-04T02:15:48Z

It seemed like the dynamite was thrown in the direction I was facing rather than where my mouse was, unlike my grappling hook, which was a bit confusing. Besides that, fun game!

Well done!

@zhanna Thank you for playing!

The Devil Lurks in Coin by Raphiell 2021-04-27T13:58:17Z

@gno-evenimente Thanks for playing! Yes it definitely gets messy at the end! Enjoy Tahiti!

The Devil Lurks in Coin by Raphiell 2021-04-29T15:54:36Z

@madbarron Thanks for playing and giving the comprehensive feedback!

The talk with Mr Richardson at it was going to be a clue at one point, but we ended up cutting it.

Regarding the notes on the items, yes that would have been good! Just like a little message explaining what it is when you zoom in.

Glad you enjoyed it!

The Devil Lurks in Coin by Raphiell 2021-05-08T02:22:14Z

@mattwoelk Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the little bits of polish we put on, we're proud of the feel of playing it!

The Devil Lurks in Coin by Raphiell 2021-05-14T02:46:24Z

@junebug Thanks for playing! Yea the dragging around was a feature I really enjoyed adding, and then playing with!

The Devil Lurks in Coin by Raphiell 2021-05-16T21:22:44Z

@ardorugus Thanks for playing! Everyone is mentioning the greying out of options in their reviews, so I'm really glad I added it!

@celtico Thank you for the comprehensive review! No idea on the sound issue, I never got it personally, I feel like it may be an issue with the web build (as I mostly played it in editor). YES! I LOVE cultist simulator, I convinced @samazki (the artist) to do it in that style, and we're glad it came across.

Dig Dog Dig by Rolodophone 2021-05-09T17:06:57Z

Super cool that you made it work on mobile as well. If there was some indication what spaces were what, it would feel better than just random chance.

Well done!

Outerstellar by MadHumster 2021-05-02T14:35:58Z

Awesome entry, a lot of fun to play, and I managed to find all 5 planets. Only 220/500 survivors though, and I was having trouble finding new suns, not sure where the rest of the survivors were hiding. One suggestion would be upping turning speed when you are slowed down/stopped.

Well done!

Into the Abyss by Sli 2021-04-30T01:39:09Z

Yay I got the star. Very cute game, I just pumped all the money into O2, and that seemed to work for me. Well done!

Boring in the deep by WilhelmStein 2021-04-30T01:24:13Z

Very funny, and good job making all the sound. The music is great! Well done!

Deep Cover by Madbarron 2021-04-30T01:54:00Z

Amazing entry! It's great to see a fellow corkboard game! I found myself sliding around on the last level when I wasn't moving. Great art, music, and controls. Great little experience, well done!

Knee deep in jelly by Johan Alexandersson 2021-05-17T23:38:15Z

Fun game, I found the jumping to be a bit difficult to control. Great art and atmospheric music, well done!

Deep Dish Delivery by shaner421 2021-04-29T00:58:05Z

Awesome art and music, had a blast playing this one!

Cursed Cave by Bender Biber 2021-05-09T18:12:13Z

It was quite hard to tell where I was going or where I was, some lights or landmarks in the level would be nice. Well done on completing a game for the jam!

Fractal Finder by VD-15 2021-05-18T00:30:52Z

Fantastic idea for the jam! I got a little restless and starting taking all the hints so I could see all the pretty fractals you've added. Well done!

The Dwarven Brigade by Wolfier 2021-05-09T18:27:37Z

What a blast! This was a load of fun, and it's awesome you made something so ambitious, I did have to deal with a couple crashes, and the dwarf behaviour was sometimes difficult to understand, but I still had a load of fun. Well done!

The Dwarves of Mt. Deep by Kimberly 2021-04-30T02:15:53Z

What a rocking tune, put that on soundcloud, I need to listen to it some more haha. Other than that, beautiful graphics, and well great gameplay. Fantastic job.

Mad on a motobike by Sigo 2021-04-29T01:34:17Z

Great mood and music! Thank goodness my bike has a motorized boulder crusher at the front, or else I would have been in trouble!

What Happened in Addison's Grotto by Junebug 2021-05-14T03:03:32Z

WOW. I was blown away. The mood was absolutely _dripping_. It didn't go on too long to become tedious, and the story you were discovering piece by piece was so interesting!

Seriously, well done. Hail Dagon.

Bubble Diving by Lymze 2021-05-09T18:02:17Z

That was so pleasant! I loved my whole time playing. One thing I noticed was that after using a bubble blast, picking up another bubble for more air bounces you, where it normally wouldn't bounce you.

Fantastic art, it was so adorable. Well done!

Descend by DevParty 2021-04-29T01:46:47Z

Great little game, good job for the compo. I feel like the earlier levels could be trimmed down a lot, there's a lot of time where I didn't have to hit any buttons.

Well done!

Submarine Adventure by bflatinteractive 2021-04-29T01:27:05Z

I loved the 3d models and their textures, the music was good too, but it didn't loop very well and it kinda took you out of the immersion every time it looped.

Good job!

Space GELD by ElMikosch 2021-05-18T14:55:40Z

It was a little unclear how to get resources, but it seems like they randomly drop from asteroids, aiming your missiles was a bit tough, and the game started lagging as soon as you started destroying asteroids. All that said, this was an ambitious project for ludum dare, and I think you pulled it off! There's a good core loop of gathering resources/fighting ships and an actual end goal, no matter how impossible it feels to achieve at times (damn loan sharks).

Well done!

Ziggurat by nethead 2021-04-29T01:07:44Z

Fantastic entry, this is what I look for from Ludum Dare! Well done on all aspects. I enjoyed that there were some 'lookout' spots where you could just sit and enjoy the music.

Deep Space Diggers by Stormjack 2021-05-02T15:08:45Z

Great entry, I found sometimes my dwarves weren't building anything new for some reason, unsure why. Great 3d models and good job completing something so ambitious!

Well done!

Drill Sergeant by GoldOne 2021-05-04T02:34:15Z

I found it a little difficult to see the text in the corners on the web build, like I wasn't sure how many grenades I had left. Also the conversations went by a bit quick. Besides that, a fun game and a good entry! Well done!

The Final Journey by kernon 2021-04-30T01:34:21Z

Good use of the audio assets! At then I wish I was able to get to exactly 300 (miles? kilometers?), but I'll take 297 haha. Well done!

Abyssal Secrets by thain 2021-05-14T03:17:14Z

The speed boost from the boots is awesome, leaving those fish in the dust. I was unsure if there was a way to return to the boat, was dying the only option? Returning to the boat didn't do it for me.

MION FOREVER by JoshTheStriker 2021-05-14T03:11:33Z

Well done! The art and sound were great! I found the vision range to be a bit small, and it wasn't immediately clear how to actually progress. I feel like there could be fewer waves.

LoweFix by Octopussy 2021-04-30T00:24:44Z

What a twist at the end! The only thing I was confused about was how the gatling gun worked. Well done!

Palette's Bottomless Backpack by CeltiCo 2021-05-09T17:22:23Z

A fantastic entry, a super cool concept executed well. All the art, music, and dialogue play into this idea so well. One thing I would have liked is for the objectives to get crossed off when you complete them.

Well done!

Slumber by KepperSnapper 2021-04-30T01:28:20Z

Awesome graphics! Was a fun time. Well done!

The Rabbit Hole Herald by Sam_ONella 2021-04-30T01:08:05Z

This is the best entry I've played so far. Once I did maybe run into a bug though where it didn't let me continue and I had to restart. Tons of fun, great concept!!

Vax Quest by not-tomo 2021-05-04T01:35:50Z

Fun! But it was more hitpoints or lives would be nice.

Well done!

l'Abysse by JyriO 2021-05-04T02:08:11Z

The mood was great, I was definitely filled with dread. However I felt the intro took a very long time and speech could be sped up.

Pinned by HipyCas 2021-05-18T19:56:49Z

Great graphics and mood, could turn into something really special! My team made a game almost exactly like this!

QWERUIOP by SLM 2021-05-09T17:10:33Z

Interesting concept, but a couple too many options, it's quite overwhelming. Great use of art and audio though, it was pleasant to flounder around.

Well done!

Cyber Monsters by liero116 2021-05-09T17:55:53Z

Wow! I had a fantastic time playing this, I beat it with the first fighter, but when I tried with the second he got frozen the first time I was hit, and I couldn't do anything except sit there.

Really good though, well done!

Fast Flats! by Stending 2021-10-06T23:41:08Z

Capture.PNG I think he likes it!

Had a blast with this one, such a great idea, and the cherry on top was the acapella mode. A stroke of genius. This is honestly amazing! Well done.

PTSD Fishing by KuKuRammus 2021-10-09T13:44:24Z

Fun little fishing minigame, interesting take on the the theme. I love the fact that when you messed up in the first phase of catching fish you don't instantly lose, but rather go back one step. It would be nice if there was a feature like that for the arrows as well, like screwing up an arrow input adds 2 more inputs to the list.

Anyways, well done!

penguin.exe by Yngvarr 2021-10-09T15:33:52Z

Hilarious idea, but unfortunately it gets tiring fast, I'm glad I played it though, was very funny. It would be interesting if some of the files the penguins tossed out were upgrades or other interesting content.

Well done!

Nuclear Disaster by automatonvx 2021-10-09T15:22:58Z

Some of the rooms were a bit unfair as you get hit before you could dodge (the rooms with the projectile enemies), but other than that I had a good time. A map would be nice as well, just something that shows which room is next to which.

Well done!

Hungry Myshka by pixelstuff 2021-10-08T12:58:27Z

Fantastic graphics, and fun concept, I love Myshka <3 I would suggest opt-ing out of the Audio category, if your music and sound effects were not made during the jam. Other than that, well done!

Pizza Pony by MattWoelk 2021-10-21T02:36:30Z

Great use of the theme, and +1 for the inclusion of horses. Had a good laugh. Well done!

Larry's Whacky Alchemy Lab by Tiberiusuciu 2021-10-12T23:28:43Z

Good art and sound effects. I felt like the effects were more of a nuisance than something to work around, partially because I didn't have time to bother reading the effect, I just had to trust I was doing ok. If the effects made changes to the player sprite, it would be really easy to tell what was going on.

I still had fun with this game, well done!

Kyle vs. The Universe by notApollogising 2021-10-07T12:36:21Z

Had a blast playing this. Great job with the bosses. I loved the first boss' cigar attack, super funny. I had it crash when I tried to restart after dying to the gangster boss (console said something about (not inside tree errors), and I think some of the goons in that level (the ones on the scaffolding) just walk off the edge of the level and disappear. Besides that though, I had a blast, really well done!

Launch Yourself! by Nehvis 2021-10-12T22:01:12Z

Fun little game, I tried climbing up the straight chute on the right side of the map, which I found more fun than the actual level haha.

2 things that would greatly improve the game: - The camera has smoothing enabled, which is nice, but the fact that there's no limit on it means you can easily not see yourself anymore when launching, making it impossible to keep up any momentum. Enabling a limit on the camera would help here, so you can never go off screen. - The physics sometimes stop you instantly, instead of bouncing you off. If you're using godot I'm guessing it's because you are using a tilemap for physics? As opposed to large collision rects. If that's the case, I think the player is hitting either right in an edge, or clipping through the block they are actually hitting, and hitting the underside of the block above. Just guesses though!

This was still a lot of fun to play, well done!

Shaky Shack by Brusi 2021-10-07T12:46:08Z

Had a great time with this one! I started to actually learn what was what, but some of those recipes were long! Well done!

The ApprenDice by ChuChuGeralt 2021-10-09T14:40:35Z

This was a blast! Great idea and well executed. Rules were intuitive enough. Only thing I didn't get at first was what the turn did, I turned one die 5 times before I realized it flipped the die to the other side, not to a random side haha.

It seemed to me that I got a lot more high numbers than low numbers, I was getting tonnes of turn dice potions, but maybe that was just the RNG!

It would be cool if you could use the omega potion at the end (maybe it spawns like 100 dice), but it was fun anyways.

Well done!

Herman's Fallacy by LarrySeinfeld 2021-10-06T17:33:00Z

Fission Friends by Peco 2021-10-06T22:07:36Z

Wow! Really fun, and a neat concept. I found that green was really overwhelming at the end to the point I felt I needed to have the green beam at all times, but then the red ones got me anyway!

Well done!

No More Stables! by Raphiell 2021-10-06T17:08:23Z

@crumson @02rppl @gdman thanks for all the nice words! It would be nice to make it longer, my original idea included another 2 sections! But that was way too ambitious. Yea I noticed that the last section was super long, so I made each missle count as 27 in the end haha

No More Stables! by Raphiell 2021-10-06T18:14:14Z

@fermingimpel @alex-chertilin @peco @ullent Thank you so much for playing!

@sawdust Personally, I agree it's slightly too long. I don't think I made it engaging enough to keep attention for as long as it is. I reduced it in length MANY times while working on it. Thanks for playing!

@zapdos2 Thanks so much for playing

@joeshanahan Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the upgrade system! I wanted them to be more meaningful then just +1 damage or something, so it feels like you're customizing your cannon. I'm happy that came across  Thanks for playing!

@uinelj Thanks for playing! I figured I should have a put a note about that up! That section goes *dramatically* faster in the last phase, it is not infinite!

@notapollogising Thanks for playing! Here's a secret, if you want to get to the end, you can hit 'p' to skip to the end scene, you won't see the final cutscene, but you can enjoy the end screen .

Crystallizator by XCVZXC 2021-10-12T22:50:14Z

Wow this was amazing! I had so much fun.

It would have been interesting to have the negative effects have a random order, so each play is different. Also, if there was a visible marker showing the radius at which you get hurt from using the gun too close to enemies, that would be nice, I killed myself like that because it was hard to tell if I would hurt myself.

Was really fun though, well done!

Mint by Préda 2021-10-09T13:53:48Z

Great atmosphere, and I laughed when you changed Mint's image in the dialogue to reflect the low gravity. A bit low on features and things to do, but I still had a great time. Well done!

ClownPunk by Panagiotis Iatrou 2021-10-16T14:52:00Z

It's clear you're no strangers to game design. You know the rules of game dev, and so do I! Therefore I'm able to fully commit to giving this a positive review, the kind you wouldn't get from any other guy. I just wanna tell you how I feel about this game, I've got to make you understand I had a great time with it.

I loved the aesthetic, and the fact that different objects affected your player in unique ways, but it would be cool to have some sort of notification when you get those, so you can kinda understand what's happening. Well done!

The Puppets by Compasslg 2021-10-16T13:55:28Z

It looks good and sounds good. I found it very hard to actually click on the puppets in order to move them around, and it seemed like there was real end goal, besides "don't let them die/go crazy".

Duck Optimizer Pro 2021 by unplugred 2021-10-12T23:08:32Z

Fun idea, but the rhythm puzzle was a bit obtuse, I knew what to do, but understanding which note corresponded to which key was difficult, especially as the songs ramped up in length. It would be cool if every song were 4 notes long, and you just had to listen to it to find the order to play the keys in. That way you always have a reference to q = lowest key and r = highest, rather than sometimes having to guess which key is the first one.

Overall I had a blast with this one! Well done!

Haywire by ScalphaMission 2021-10-08T12:44:47Z

I had a blast! I got to a factory that was producing a micro bot and tank as fast as possible, and there was nothing the enemy could do about it. It crashed at that point, when I had like 10-15 tanks at the enemy portal. One think I would have liked was a button that selected the type of block you were hovering over to place, so you didn't have to scroll through the menu. Well done!

Shifty Showers by tetrapteryx 2021-10-21T20:11:25Z

This was great! I wish you could restart the individual levels, but I still had a lot of fun here. Is it possible to get all the coins? Also yay for someone using almost the exact same set of tools! Godot and aseprite rock!

Well done!

It's not a bug, it's a feature by Life_Lich 2021-10-16T13:37:59Z

Couldn't beat what I assumed to be the last boss, but it was enjoyable. The mechanics weren't very clear and I just played whatever I was able. I had no idea why cards were disabled sometimes, but not other times.

Dark Plunge by LBO 2021-10-09T15:51:57Z

Great animations and a good idea. To me it doesn't seem to really fit the theme though.

The fact that enemies took more than one hit meant I just didn't bother killing them, it would also be interesting if they would give you some health back, as an incentive to actually fight them. Also the sensitivity was quite high.

I still had fun with this game though, it's well done!

Dark Plunge by LBO 2021-10-09T16:45:21Z

@tobb Ah! I should have checked the settings :) I'll give it another go.

Dark Plunge by LBO 2021-10-09T16:49:19Z

The Markus Polo Hostage Situation by Chris Hay 2021-10-16T14:10:48Z

I had a blast from start to finish. Great art, music, writing, and pacing. The only thing is that it felt hand-holdy, I was always being told what to try next. A solution for that could be to list the things you have available to check on the side of the screen, rather than within the notes, so that I could kind of process of elimination try things until I figured it out, without having to do `check notes` every other command.

I had a great time! Well done!

MANIC MELTDOWN! by David Bohan 2021-10-06T17:19:17Z

Magmanimal Island by Battlerager 2021-10-09T15:17:43Z

Amusing game, but very difficult. It was also hard to tell exactly what was making the volcano mad. I also felt like I wasn't getting enough cards to deal with all the issues I was running into. Besides that, I had fun!

The Lesser Evil by Jon Topielski 2021-10-09T16:03:18Z

Capture.PNG

I had an absolute blast with this one! My only complaint is some of the upgrades are nullified by others, like 'Cardio' is a freebie on expert difficulty, the invert colors doesn't matter much when you get a random palette, and personally, I prefer the inverted colors in the first place.

One request, include on the end screen the upgrades you picked, I think it would be cool to see what you all had to deal with.

Well done!

ROBOKILL by E.E-Wick 2021-10-07T13:02:27Z

What a BLAST! I love the fact that you let the popo shoot each other if you line them up. Fantastic jam game, only issue I had is the hitboxes for picking up heads and eating bodies seemed quite small, so I had to run over them several times to pick them up. Otherwise really well done!

Had a blast with this one, it's fun, a great idea, and a good take on the theme. Well done!

It's All In Your Head by real_flamingicecubegames 2021-10-16T14:46:23Z

Fantastic mood and atmosphere between the art/writing/sound design. I loved every aspect of this! Also love that you used godot! What a great engine!

Well done!

This is falling to be unstable by WitekWitek 2021-10-09T16:07:05Z

I liked it! Having the instructions play while I'm struggling to survive is probably not the best time to have them.

I had a good time though, well done!

Ethereal Runner by jabsatz 2021-10-09T13:36:06Z

I always like a runner with an acceleration mechanic, a la Canabalt. The amount of text in the tutorial was a bit much, I would rather the humour is sprinkled throughout than frontloaded, but it was still amusing!

Well done!

What is Watt? by XOREAXEAX 2021-10-09T15:02:00Z

Great art style and music. It set a great mood, I loved the animations of everything. It was a bit hard at first to understand what was going on, I had to restart many times because I would instantly go into debt, but I eventually figured out that the income you get is based on what the houses are currently using, as opposed to just a constant flow.

Well done!

The Conflicted Merchant by pierogo 2021-10-06T23:23:48Z

Wow a really good game! my only concern was it's a bit hard to juggle the controls quickly to give them what you want, and I just ended up spamming items to whoever was closest.

Really well done though, good job!

Wreckless Bar by XariusExcl 2021-10-12T22:14:38Z

Fantastic! Great idea, use of theme, graphics, and music! At first I didn't understand the combo mechanic. I had fun, well done!

Crazy Potion by zapdos2 2021-10-06T23:13:55Z

Yay I won! I feel that the random timers between moves made it hard to strategize much, and waiting 5 seconds for an attack was a bit long. Other than that I had a good time! Well done!

UKI by Shea Kelly 2021-10-16T13:46:03Z

Nice start to a game, but I couldn't continue after the nail boss. I feel like people have already commented on the issues I had, so I just want to drop in and say congrats on finishing your first game! Making a game and submitting it is tough. Well done!

Crumbly Castle by Tuile 2021-10-09T15:28:56Z

I had a good time building that sand castle, it looked like I had to deposit sand in specific places, and it wasn't clear where there was still sand required. In addition I noticed the dialog with your brother seemed a bit buggy, with text flashing in and out. Finally, I got a crash right at the end! But I still had fun with this! I liked the art and the idea, very amusing.

Well done!

Unstable Christmas by Mizuiky 2021-10-21T02:16:14Z

Nice art and sound, but unfortunately I wasn't able to progress.

Timofei Cauldron by gdman 2021-10-06T17:22:22Z

Nice start to a game idea, I only wish I could pick them back up once I dropped them! Or maybe kick them with my ducky feet. Well done!

GLITCH by Yotamco 2021-10-07T12:51:56Z

Ha! I had a fun time here. It was funny and the mechanic was interesting (if a bit frustrating at times, haha). Well done!

Unstable Magnetic Gun by piw 2021-10-06T17:36:59Z

Wow really cool idea! I think it would work really well as a puzzle game, where you have to magnetize rocks in the right order to kill all the enemies. One thing that I would change is the footstep sound, it was very repetitive.

Well done!

Chronondrum by Marius.png 2021-10-06T18:04:35Z

Fun little game, I thought killing the big dude would be the ending, but that didn't work for me. Well done!

Reactor Overload by Litos 2021-10-12T22:25:07Z

I had trouble getting to the second level, besides that it worked.

Fun idea, making a tower defense game a much more active experience, I liked the idea.

I wish there was a longer startup period, before the enemies showed up, so I could prepare.

Well done!

Pogo Man by sawdust 2021-10-06T22:19:57Z

Fun platformer, but I feel like the levels really ramped up in complexity. One thing that made it more difficult was the small camera size, it was difficult to tell if what you were about to do was going break the puzzle and you'd have to reset.

Well done overall!

Meltdown!! by manzdeh 2021-10-21T02:27:21Z

Fun puzzle experience, was there a restart button? If not that would have been nice, but crushing myself to restart was a little funny. I had a great time with this game. The magnet mechanic is a bit convoluted, as is the climbing one (maybe just make it so you climb automatically when you walk into a block without the magnet out, and just make space take the magnet out and put it away).

Well done!

Unstable: Save a Herd of Horses by Alex Chertilin 2021-10-06T22:02:32Z

Fun little game, it got hectic fast though! +1 for using godot, and +1 for also having it be themed around horses and stables :)

AnoidBuild by lifedrain 2021-10-12T22:10:02Z

Interesting take on arkanoid and good use of the theme. I wish the paddle moved either slower or smoother, and same with the ball. The tiny size of the bricks also made it quite hard to be precise at all.

Well done, this was fun!

UNSTAYABLE by shmador 2021-10-06T17:54:57Z

Nice little game. I didn't find it too hard to avoid the enemy, they didn't seem to chase me very much. Were the blood pools there so I would leave trails? I noticed I would leave bloody footprints around. One other thing was that the key being yellow on the map blended in with the white, and I thought it was just a closet or wall. Besides that it was great! Well done!

ecosystem except there is no equilibrium and everyone dies probably by parafactual 2021-10-08T12:52:46Z

Very innovate, but as other have said, difficult to parse. Nice attempt for sure, it reminds of me of Rogue. I think having you and the enemies move slower would help, it was hard to keep track of what was happening.

Well done!

Unstable platformer thing by FloppaDev 2021-10-12T22:20:15Z

It's a little bit hard to tell when you actually start becoming unstable, and when you are close. I know the color changes and you are unstable as soon as you jump or dash, but either a sound or a bar/meter would be nice to tell how close I am.

Besides that, well done!

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Ava-launch! by LandoSystems 2022-04-09T23:33:30Z

Was a bit confused what to do before the first avalanche, but learned quickly! It doesn't seem like I have super much control, just maintaining ramps. Had fun though! Well done.

Before Impact: Meteor Fantasy by Garywiss 2022-04-10T17:11:27Z

I had an awesome time here! Yes, it's vampire survivors, BUT it adds a really interesting goal! I found the cultists were not necessary, you're obligated to just go kill them as fast as possible anyways so there's no point in having them really. It is a good way for you to see how big the map is though, you could probably replace the cultists with a 'boss' that gives tonnes of xp but is hard to kill, so players would decide to go to them when they are ready.

I think tornado + fist is a bit strong, nothing could get anywhere close to me.

Shotgun King: the Final Checkmate by benjamin 2022-04-08T00:22:26Z

Assassinating the king in 4 turns by blowing away his pawns then sniping him from across the board has got to the best thing I've ever done in chess. Marvelous. 10/10

A Title About Shapes by fabbyrob 2022-04-05T04:17:20Z

It got difficult fast, and I felt like almost immediately I was in situations where I couldn't meet the demand because the supply arrows were blocked by my other paths. Not terrible if it happens, but it felt like every try it would.

Other than that it was great! Well done.

Kiwis Can't Fly by DDRKirbyISQ 2022-04-08T00:37:43Z

This was an incredible entry. My favourite that I've played so far. The cats with brooms absolutely made it for me, they were adorable. The game play was simple and fun and I could see it becoming addictive. The ending tugged on my heartstrings.

Sacrificium (Sacrifice) by Xeke-Death 2022-04-07T18:03:54Z

Cool idea with having to gather one element at a time to unlock the next. It's kind of like a point and click escape room. I found the controls a bit hard to get used to and there were times the music got a bit intense for seemingly no reason? I'm guessing just being close to the cult member? Anyways, the music itself was good, as well as the graphics. Well done!

Daybreak by LoHii 2022-04-07T22:43:41Z

Really fun idea! The sound and graphics were great and the difficulty was pretty good as well! I found I would often be shooting my claw and it would go below my target. Overall really great! Well done.

書 shū by Zitao YE 2022-04-17T21:16:40Z

I didn't understand what the bar at the top represented at first, so when it ran out I was surprised to get booted back to level one. Besides that it was great! Very fun and different.

You Will Die by cdunham 2022-04-17T20:52:29Z

Interesting villagers and I enjoyed the art. My sword sounded like a lightsaber, so that was fun! Besides that I didn't really know what to do, I killed a couple goblins and took all the villagers on a hike that ended in a BBQ.

Well done!

Sir Blocksalot by jhandsy 2022-04-10T16:48:01Z

Dope soundtrack and art, and the gameplay was fun too! Having a score would definitely have helped me play it a bit longer to try and beat my score. I liked that the pieces were tetris shaped, having to slot them into place definitely added some difficulty! It may be interesting if the player is told what the next shape they are gonna pull is, so they can plan where to put it!

Well done!

Wrath of Zeus by Rost 2022-04-07T19:59:59Z

Fun game! I had a bit of trouble figuring out how to build at first, so maybe some clarification on that via tutorial would be nice.

Will There Bee Another? by Gabriel Dias Oliveira de Almeida 2022-04-10T17:37:46Z

The art is gorgeous and I had a lot of fun trying (and eventually succeeding) to get another date! Other than the lack of sound effects everything is very polished. Awesome work!

Garden War by Firesplash Entertainment 2022-04-07T23:52:32Z

Cool tower defense game, I thought the concept was cute. I struggled to actually defend the hot dogs but had fun! Some music would have been nice.

Different Strokes by Scott Steffes 2022-04-08T14:41:53Z

This game was perfect, I got absolutely lost in it. The lack of undo was really interesting because it made everything feel more permanent (even though I could paint over it). I loved seeing how impressive some peoples pieces are and the ghosts were very sweet.

Life of a Mosquito by Cary Stanley 2022-04-05T04:11:44Z

Controls were a bit floaty, but I think that fit the mosquito perfectly, so I liked it! Some of the 'voice' lines for the victims were a bit loud and repetitive.

Well done!

The Mark of Time by DKMK100 2022-04-09T23:15:59Z

Didn't get all the achievements, but I got close! It was fun and the achievements gave me a reason to keep playing as long as I did. A few suggestions would be make where the big guys spawn look different so I can get a pre-emptive shot in and some feedback when getting hit would be good too.

No idea what the last ones were, but I think I was one short of getting the final clue. Best score was wave 19, ~197 seconds.

Under the Moon by Nakami 2022-04-07T17:21:36Z

The graphics were really nice, I wish there were graphics for the cut scenes too. I found the left button attack hard to aim so the spin attack was my go to.

Faces of the Beast by stamestratagem 2022-04-05T17:02:33Z

Lethal Dice 50 by marcmagus 2022-04-15T17:56:00Z

twice I got within one die, and even one pip (one value away on my last die) from getting 400. Alas, maybe it's not meant to be. This was a lot of fun! There's definitely some impending doom, and I like that fact that it's not infinite! Plays well with the theme and makes sense after a game or two. Well done!

Unladen Penguin by ComicSans 2022-04-05T03:43:02Z

I only got to the bombs, but the altimeter showed I wasn't even half way... It didn't really fell like I was controlling the bird, and the air rushing sound reminded me of an airplane toilet. But I had lots of fun!

Populus Romanus by Bauke Regnerus 2022-04-07T23:35:51Z

The Endless Night by Arivenzys 2022-04-07T18:25:48Z

Beavers Inc. by ditam 2022-04-08T21:10:45Z

Parcel Run by JoeShanahan 2022-04-07T19:36:46Z

teleBOTation by Phoenix Fireflower 2022-04-08T00:28:58Z

Chrysopoeia by Matt Barnfield 2022-04-05T02:53:53Z

I'm having factorio flashbacks. I love this sort of game! A bit hard to grasp at first with all the instructions to read through while you're being taxed, but I had fun after a few resets. I think I found a really good setup... I'll have to play again later.

Very well done!

Stone Sabbath by Caladrius 2022-04-11T23:38:58Z

Dope! Definitely worthy of fanart. The tutorial screen said you turn with a/d, but it's actually strafing. Was the giant the goal, killing him? After that I was teleported to the end but I think there were a few places I had to explore yet. Amazing audio and style, my only complaint is the 'squares' filter over everything, it wasn't too big a deal but I don't think it really adds to the aesthetic.

This is really well done!

Explon't by DaFluffyPotato 2022-04-17T21:21:20Z

Extremely good looking! I was confused when the levels stopped changing and thought it was a bug, but it seems like there's only that one level after the tutorial? It would be nice to have more levels. Otherwise I had a great time, well done.

Explon't by DaFluffyPotato 2022-04-17T23:54:02Z

@dafluffypotato ha! That must be it, three in row were the same. Good to know there is variety. May be nice to put in place a feature so you can't get the same level twice in a row.

Hospital Dash by brads.space 2022-04-07T22:17:58Z

Overall, well done!

The Assessment by Okamit 2022-04-07T19:52:54Z

The mini-games were a lot of fun and well designed. Art and music were amazing as well. My one complaint was that clicking didn't make the text at the beginning move faster and the slow speed was a bit frustrating.

The Inevitable Sinking by Alpha Wolf Studios 2022-04-05T03:55:16Z

As you have a studio, the quality is high! Great art and great music. I found the gameplay a bit repetitive. I got to level 3.

The Railroad to Elsewhere by Save Sloth Studios 2022-04-07T20:30:35Z

The art is incredible and I really enjoyed the mini-games too. I didn't quite understand the story at the end but it was atmospheric nonetheless!

ENDURACE - Drift Or Die by Phillip Scott 2022-04-07T22:34:56Z

NewGame+ by deianeira 2022-04-17T21:01:55Z

Things I liked: Music, Art, Upgrades, enemy variety. Things I didn't like: Camera jerked each shot, couldn't hold in to shoot (makes the faster shooting upgrade pointless for people who can't click quickly)

Overall I think it was solid and fun! Well done

Great Escape by Martinek 2022-04-07T17:07:49Z

The game was funny with cute art and music! I think with levels and upgrades there would be more replayability.

Boxed In by FatiguedFox 2022-04-07T20:17:00Z

The game is fun but it would be nice to have more strategy involved, like planning a good route. I liked the sound effects and colour palette!

the pond by Misfire_dev 2022-04-10T17:24:46Z

The large square phase was too punishing, losing all your progress if you misjudge a jump is harsh. I loved the mood and atmosphere though, and the game was designed well to not really need a tutorial! It was clear what I had to do. The spawning of the bugs to eat in the large square phase was interesting, some places had none, and some were swarming.

Overall, good entry. Well done!

Can You Out Run It? by ADerpyChickenStudios 2022-04-05T17:09:08Z

Peter and the Pesky Puppets by agushmar 2022-04-07T18:18:06Z

Handbot in... Scrap Heap by DonnieDarko 2022-04-15T15:08:34Z

Loved the atmosphere you made because of the music and art. Everything felt really grungy and dirty, it was great. Twice though I couldn't return to the 'planks' section because I used the shortcut and the planks were no longer accessible. Besides that I had a great time, well done!

Arrow's Theorem by Guy Girmonsky 2022-04-08T19:30:04Z

Interesting game idea that teaches a lot about voting systems. The later systems were a bit confusing in terms of strategy though so I found myself just clicking to try something. Maybe that's the lesson!

Kalamity Kitchen by R3D3R 2022-10-03T23:28:12Z

It was confusing at first, since there are no instructions, but I got the hang of it. It would be nice if there was a symbol for the effect that happens to you, rather than just text. Also a timer to tell you when a new effect happens would be sweet!

I loved the art and the animations, very amusing!

Well done! Capture.PNG

@djd123456 @gabriel-chan @ciber-turtle @thomas-yanuziello @stefan-b @don-juan-javier @andrew-everage-s @wazce @matt-swieboda

Thank you so much everyone for playing!

@budda You're right, I should have added a 1 second delay before you can pick an upgrade.

@gerd I know!!! I wanted to add another enemy, a secondary fire (special attack) and more upgrades. Alas such is a jam

@ofiro I know what you mean, I think I should have added something that tells the player it's about to happen, like a 'ding' sound on the last 3 seconds or something

@alexis-brochec Thank you! I loved making this song, I put it together in the last hour haha, I thought I wouldn't be able to make it in time!

@quinn-patrick Thanks for the comprehensive feedback! I agree the buffs for the enemy are unbalanced, You can go REALLY far by just picked the homing and projectile speed ones, then killing the ranged guys before they shoot. Balance is tough in a jam, and I regret not putting more effort into it.

HELLSTREAM DX by Raphiell 2022-10-04T00:49:39Z

@stvup Thanks for playing!

@thyoi I thought I spent too much time on those but it paid off!!

HELLSTREAM DX by Raphiell 2022-10-04T02:40:54Z

@bogden Thanks for playing and testing the limits of the game! A balance patch is SORELY needed, and I think I'm gonna release one after I release a bugs patch!

@rage-paint-games Thanks for playing and posting!

@thesmellofoxygen Thanks for playing! A little balance would have gone a long way for sure

Chertilo: Infernal Creature by Friend_Pirozhok 2022-10-12T20:27:23Z

That was really fun! Definitely felt some vampire survivors in there. I would say the theme was pretty light since I found the minor stat adjustments un-noticeable.

Well done, I had a great time with this.

phase by Matt Swieboda 2022-10-04T23:17:51Z

Sweet little shooter. I blasted through the asteroids and found a bunch of orange ships sitting around and 2 more starbases. Curious!

Well done!

Chicken Golem! by T C 2022-10-03T23:37:38Z

Fun mechanic, especially once it started swapping the ability instead of terrain, that was really fun!

The art was cute and I appreciated the checkpoints. One thing I noticed is that killed enemies stayed dead after going back to a checkpoint.

Well done!!!

It All Comes Crashing Down by Quinn_Patrick 2022-10-04T23:33:40Z

Ten Out by Holtzzy223 2022-10-12T20:47:52Z

Great art and atmosphere, I found the light turning off every 10 seconds really frustrating since I had to run all the way back to light it. Not sure how else you could have implemented the theme though.

Well done!

Impact-Effect by IdeasPerSecond 2022-10-04T00:04:45Z

AWESOME! That was so much fun. I found the numbers in the middle too distracting, but otherwise it was great. It was really hard to get full clears on level that had tonnes of little rockets, but so it goes.

Well done

Nice! Got to 12 on my second try, a mode that starts difficult would be nice so I don't have to do the easier levels to test my skills. Had a good time with this.

BeeBeforeBosses by StvUP 2022-10-04T23:10:59Z

Interesting concept for a minit-style game. I could see this expanded on into a longer game. It was a little unclear how the respawning mechanics worked, such as them having multiple uses if you defeated more enemies before placing it, but I had a great time.

Well done!

Luzy Lazer by Magnus Lindh 2022-10-12T20:16:17Z

I enjoyed the sound effects, and I think it would be cool if leading up to the next malfunction it would tell you what was going to break, or just a longer break between malfunctions. The player hitbox seemed bigger than I expected and I got hit a couple times just trying to get past enemies.

Well done!

LD54 — Limited Space

Super Shop Keeper Turbo by khaotom 2023-10-20T17:22:40Z

Unfortunately got stuck in the section with the moving platforms, but interesting movement mechanics though a bit floaty. If you didnt, try adding 'coyote time' to allow you to jump after running off an edge for a few frames, that really helps with platformer feel.

Well done and great submission!

@mealky Thanks for playing and the kind words, I love the cats too

@rumiaobsessed Thanks for playing! Yea they try to run away from you, and if you're sprinting they will notice you sooner!

@the3rdhunter Thanks for playing! I'm very happy with how the feel of the game turned out, despite my ambitions for multiple levels and such. I did not have time for an in-game tutorial unfortunately!

@braktheman Thanks for playing! The music was my favorite part to work on! And yes, I was trying to evoke doom as much as possible!

@joshedev Thanks for playing! E1M1 was my inspiration, so I'm glad it came through!

@khaotom Thanks for playing! I'm very happy with how the avatar turned out!

@ategon Thanks for playing on stream!

@zee-yuen Thanks for playing! I'm very glad with how the music and art came together.

@shaner421 Thanks for playing. I was trying to get a doom vibe so I'm glad it came across!

@cdunham Thanks for playing, and good job on catching them all!

@lincolnsalles Thanks for playing! I'm sorry about the floor color! I originally planned to have a palette changer but ran into issues with the shader.

@sevenone Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed.

I'm spooked! For some reason my character kept slowly turning to the right. Was fun! It would be nice for a bit more contrast in the level design, was sometimes a bit disorienting. I loved it! Well done.

ROCKOUT by Nick Baggett 2023-10-05T03:31:24Z

What to say that hasn't been said. Great idea and implementation, though having the whole arena drop at the end just results in whoever has their q ready winning! Well done

To Hell With You! by Sean Esopenko 2023-10-07T13:34:21Z

Loved the art, sound, and voice acting! Having to rewatch the opening sequence was tedious but besides that it was very well made. Well done!

Ad Space by fisher2470 2023-10-06T20:38:48Z

After my third paper I just pumped ads and only ads in until I reached $100. I got a blank grey screen instead of the ending but I assume I did amazingly! It would be nice to see the borders of news so it was more obvious when things overlapped. Well done!

Grocery Run by delauraen 2023-10-05T02:12:05Z

Like others have mentioned, this is definitely unfinished. But I recognize that creating something, ANYTHING (especially in 3d) and releasing it is difficult. I also worked on a 3d game this jam for the first time in my LD experience. Well done on participating and releasing something.

Quantumine Capture by VicoXue 2023-10-20T18:40:01Z

Brain buster this one, took me a sec to understand the quantum aspect, but it was a really nice touch. Well done on this entry!

Clogged Tube by braktheman 2023-10-07T13:48:13Z

Nice take on the theme! I liked the voice acting as well. I think an absolute control scheme, rather than having to turn would have been nice. Overall, well done!

Drive Ice by ShinanXu 2023-10-05T01:35:49Z

Cute game! Controlling both the ice and the penguin was challenging. Well done!

Cold space by karnagie 2023-10-06T20:17:59Z

nice spooky atmosphere, found it pretty hard to time the bombs to kill anything. The jump mechanics were a bit floaty, but hey it was in space

Trainwreck by Zac Arnold 2023-10-05T01:29:42Z

Had a lot of fun with this one!

Pros: - Great music, it speeding up as the timer ran out definitely amped up the pressure - Fun Mechanic - Cute art

Possible improvements: - Placing the Crate at it's sprite, This caused me to misplace a couple times - A way to restart level once you know you've lost it based on the remaining pieces.

I loved how it started out real simple to get you used to it, but quickly it became a game of planning ahead and dexterity! Very well done all around. Bravo

People! Panic!!! by VideogameScrapbook 2023-10-07T13:29:26Z

Cooking Mana by Roitchie 2024-04-20T03:12:36Z

Nice minigame collection, getting all S's was fun, but the crashes were annoying. I can only blame myself though, you did label the web version 'experimental'. Nice art and sound effects, well done.

Demon Break by Raphiell 2024-04-16T14:52:17Z

@ulziton Thanks for playing! I enjoyed making the music and had been wanting to make a rts-lite game for a jam for a while!

@drahmen Thank you for playing! I tried to dial it back this year in scope and I'm glad it worked out.

@violetdreams Thanks for playing! I loved making the audio! Sitting in my closet recording myself growling for the demon sounds was the best part.

@kenguin Thanks for playing! Tabbing between demons is such a good idea! Yes the castle is weak, since it was difficult to control multiple I wanted it to be destroyable with just a big demon, but obviously that makes it trivial. Thanks for the suggestions!

@ronn-fever Thanks for playing! Yea I'm happy with how the waypoint tower worked out, since exploring the whole map would have been very tedious!

@pwrs Thanks for playing! Yes the overlapping demons and portal was an issue, I should have made the demons take selection priority.

Demon Break by Raphiell 2024-04-16T16:02:27Z

@dobrila Thanks for playing! I think the unexplored map really added an RTS/retro game feel to it that I'm glad is appreciated.

Demon Break by Raphiell 2024-04-17T15:57:55Z

@nbumgardner Thanks for playing! I definitely should have made the scrolling faster

@kaedalus Thanks for playing! Yup! I did not have the time fix that...

@helinatan Thanks for playing! Glad you liked the designs

Crystal Defense by Wieczny 2024-04-16T01:56:10Z

Cool tower defense game, I enjoyed the idea of mixing elements for effects like freezing, though I wasn't able to find any other combinations. The wave attack is extremely powerful and as soon as I got it I was able to just stand on my crystal and use it as soon as it was available and one-shot everything.

Well done!

Jim Brimstone: Devil Advocate by AploveStudio 2024-04-20T03:19:36Z

Heroes of Keys & Kingdoms by NBumgardner 2024-04-16T01:33:29Z

This was a blast. A great concept that took some real thinking to get through some of the battles. Unfortunately the skeleton king did me in. I did not expect what he did when I got him to low health...

Well done!

Fausto by PabloAbraham 2024-04-16T02:06:51Z

Art, sounds, atmosphere, and gameplay, all very polished. Your team is evidently capable of great things! The mood was off the charts and I enjoyed playing. I'm not sure how much strategy there actually was, but I had fun.

One thing I noticed is that hitting the arrow keys switches between scenes, maybe a debug key left in?

Anyways, very well done!

What The Duck? by purplexy 2024-04-16T02:15:10Z

Cooking with Satan by derfl007 2024-04-16T02:23:17Z

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Caribbean Trains by Aviland 2018-04-25T02:19:53Z

Very interesting and fun to play! I think if you put some more time into this after the jam, it will turn into something really great! Well done!

My only concern was the controls were a bit floaty, hard to turn. (But I guess they probably have the worst qualities of both boats and trains!)

Elemento by Togis 2018-04-27T00:24:47Z

Very interesting idea. It would be nice to know a few recipes off the bat, and one feature that would really streamline the combining process would be clicking on a higher level element, and having the ingredients autofill at the top.

Very fun to play, well done!

Grid Gunner by SuperTibbles 2018-04-28T02:46:55Z

Cool game, really good concept. Personally not my kind of game, but there's a lot of polish put into it!

Well done.

Definition of a Ghuest by Sand-Gardeners 2018-04-28T02:09:20Z

Very interesting. One game feature I would suggest is having your actions affect the room. Just small things like turning on the light, or adding a cup with your toothbrush in it to the room.

I enjoyed it, well done!

Carmagotchi by Re-Markable 2018-04-28T01:52:06Z

The music, oh the music. I love it. As for gameplay, the one addition I would make is a minigame while waiting for the car to fuel, like some kind of car tuning minigame.

Well done!

Bang Bang Revolution by Talonos 2018-04-28T02:38:04Z

Wow, that was really great! Amazing concept and really well executed gameplay! I loved it.

One potential gameplay feature to add is a button you can shoot to speed up / slow down the game.

I'll be using this to hone my FPS skills for sure!

Well done!

Deck of the Dead by Balance686 2018-04-27T00:09:28Z

Very well done! Died on my first try cause I thought certain color combos = ammo, didn't even see the button on the right of the screen. Very fun and a good execution of the theme.

Real Text Adventure by honpray 2018-04-28T02:15:56Z

Cool! Wasn't expecting this. It was well animated and very fun to fight enemies and explore the world you created. A very fun one-off.

Well done.

Cyclevania by Allen Oliver 2018-04-28T02:28:10Z

Fun idea and well executed!

The only gameplay change I would make is allowing you to hold space to fire, as there is currently no incentive to not hammer space as fast as you can.

Well done!

Divine Dungeoneering - A roguelite godgame by Tmvant 2018-04-23T20:48:37Z

The idea went well with the writing, I chuckled at the little tidbits that went along with the events, the only problem is that I didn't really have time to read anything, as I had to constantly be on the move. If you make the game pause while you aren't moving, that would let people enjoy your humor!

Well done!

Thanks everyone! I really enjoyed making it.

Dog Petter by Raphiell 2018-04-27T14:10:16Z

@Markram Thanks! For your suggestions, I definitely agree with the resolution/frame, it is quite small. If I do work on this game post-LD at all, more content + frame size are my two largest concerns.

Thanks for playing!

Dog Petter by Raphiell 2018-04-28T02:10:24Z

@paulhocker Thanks, was fun to make. The dog sounds came from me sitting in my closet barking to myself and then bit crushing it, I'm very happy how they came out.

Shady Cards by Yozamu 2018-04-28T21:07:37Z

Good concept and well executed.

I would like the movement to be slower, as it's hard to not to run into enemies you are trying to kill.

Well done!

Bad Beat by Drell 2018-04-28T02:21:21Z

Very good concept, I could see this being developed way further! Great idea.

Gameplay-wise, the only addition I would make is a control scheme of keys 1-5 or something similar to select your cards.

Well done!
