Really nice game. Sound effects and art are really well done. Also a responsive, resizeable window :D

Really nice game. Sound effects and art are really well done. Also a responsive, resizeable window :D
Nice clean game, I like the art and the sound in general (the water dropping was a nice touch) it's actually pretty frustrating at first but that's on me I failed the level with the 3 corridors on the last rat and I wanted to rip my hair out. But that's what makes it a compelling game even with such a simple concept. The tap controls (can't hold down) and lack of grid is non-traditional but I wouldn't say it's bad, it adds to the unique-ness to the game.
@rushhourz Thank you! As a sound designer I've tried to push my limits and tried to do a "game" all alone. The audio part was the "easiest" one. I'm glad you liked the game!
@tomn114 Thank you for your comment! I've tried to create a balanced curve of difficulty... but the "3 corridors level" is waaaaay too difficult, I know that :D Glad you liked the aesthetics of the game, thank you so much!
Nice game. Few neat mechanics. Clear level goals and tutorials.
The only problem I would like to point out are - all the builds in one archive. Seeing a 530mb download file is kind of a deterrent. Maybe if you split builds into their individual archives and give several download links, a game would be more accessible to people with slow internet connection (Yes, they still exist).
@hilvon Thank you for your comment! you're right: later I'm going to separate alle the different builds and re-upload them, so it will be easier and faster to download the specific executable!
I enjoyed this one! Simple and clear objective, and frustrating in a good way! Really nice job on the audio too!
@soyeahimjames Thank you so much!
short but sweet game
@verysoftwares thank you!
Very cute simple game, I liked the art and selected color palette. Overall, well done!
Art is really great, makes it super clear what's going on at all times!
Did feel that collision detection can be a bit unforgiving at times, but great otherwise.
The sound design is just so cool in this game. I also really like the minimalist art direction, the colors used especially are really good. The game is good and straightforward. I would say that the collisions box on the rats are a bit too generous. It often feel better is they are smaller than they look. But otherwise congratulation, this is a really neat compo.
Yay, I won! Love the music.
Loved it! I won! The music really ties it all in together. It was super tiny on my MacBook, but it scaled just fine when I maxed the window.
@lesinvisible @snesgaard @nicmagnier @icefallgames @ripter Thank you guys for your feedback! It means a lot for me!
Cool game with fitting music! A solid entry indeed
Very good art and music! I love that it's an action arcade-y game, but using tiled movement, gives it a different pace than usual. I think the hitboxes could be a bit smaller to make some section less punishing. Would love to see more of this game, hope you keep working on it! Well done :trophy:
Music is great! The cave noises in the background are a great touch, and all of the sound fits nicely together. Simple gameplay, but it worked and was well polished. Controls felt a little unresponsive, I think it would be better to move on key-down rather than key-up. I did accidentally move one too many squares a couple of times and suffer death-by-rat :P But maybe I'm just bad! All in all, nice entry and I learned what a "speleologist" is!
Great entry! A bit short on levels, but the great music and sounds set a great mood. Well done!
