One Room by manax 2016-12-15T20:21:00

I like that the furniture is pushed. It is a nice touch

Escape The Room by Logeeker 2016-12-12T16:39:00

I escaped!!

I'm not sure how I did it, but I escaped. Yes!

(One) Room for Improvement by quiv 2016-12-15T20:15:00

Got some performance issue which is a shame because I would have liked to play a bit more.

You're tearing me apart by Noah Ratcliff 2016-12-13T21:24:00

Thank you! Thank you sir for bringing this game to the world!

Vl'hurg Scout by daubers 2016-12-23T18:08:00

The game is not really good looking but I actually like the physic based platforming. I was stuck at the carrots in the fridge but I really enjoyed doscovering the levels and playing with the physics which is way more details than it seems.

Well Done!

Horror Rush Saga by larles 2016-12-13T21:53:00

Half-Life 3 confirmed!

Yuletide Bouquet by Kurai 2016-12-13T21:42:00

It's a really beautiful fire simulator.

It should be piecful but the sound is slightly too aggressive to be really relaxing.

Otherwise I really enjoyed the art direction. The sparks are just amazing.

Passive Aggressive Roommate Wars by UltraRat 2016-12-25T15:35:00

I really like the simplicity of the concept. It makes it straightforward and enjoyable.

It's a shame that throwing away or writing back didn't have an affect in this version.

Well done!

Room 007 by Lancelot Gao 2016-12-12T17:33:00

This is awesome. Really well made.
With only few (but great) interaction the game stay varied and challenging.

This is really a great entry

Time Crunch by jovoc 2016-12-16T19:24:00

I tried to launch the game but I was missing glfw3. Tried to download it but I had to compile it. I was not ready to go through it :)

Salt Pile by ehgoodenough 2016-12-31T16:38:00

I achieved the impossible !!! :)
That was tense. The blocks are really light so it's really easy to destroy your stacks. At the end I was trying more to make impossible jumps that being creative with my constructions.

But I was intrigued by the dead body that was with him. Tried to rescue it but no chance. I also wonder what is under all the salt...

The Walking Closet by andyman404 2016-12-23T18:47:00

Wow that was creepy and hilarious.

EntROOMpreneur by Pajama-Llama 2016-12-13T22:45:00

The concept is pretty cool.
The art direction is really well done.

It's just unfortunate the game don't seem to behave as I would expect

Put It Out by conradte3 2016-12-12T17:40:00

My high Score is 61 seconds.
When you have a slight flame on you, you know you are done spreading fire all over the place.

FIIL Mark 37 by martincohen 2016-12-25T15:53:00

This entry is absolutely brilliant. The gameplay is rather simple but it's working so well.

Everything in there is super well done, there is not a single rough edge which is quite a feat for a LD.

Rectal Defender by topatisen 2016-12-23T18:31:00

This is a pretty great game. Very funny and I like that the arena is getting smaller is you don't shoot them in time.

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Paw for Cream by Ango 2017-12-10T17:16:03Z

I remember seeing this game during the jam and I really wanted to try it so I'm glad I finally did it. Feels really good to make ice cream.

Sunshine Simulator by Dario Zubovic 2017-12-04T18:00:16Z

Interesting game. At first I was confused but figuring out the game without any indication how it works was really nice. I don't think I understood everything to be honest. I was stuck at the arrow (I saw it but couldn't progress further).

Nicely Done!

Mr. Capital! by fluidvolt 2017-12-07T18:25:31Z

This is an amazing job! The mechanic is fun and straight-ward and well used in the level. The coins stacking feels great. And the end just killed me.

Seriously this is great!!!

Sad Knight by Quaternius 2017-12-04T17:33:05Z

Really clean game. I love the art style and the mood. The combat is a bit simplistic (best strategy seems to just spin and attack constantly) but still precise and responsive. Very cool

Unhealthy Dungeon by calighula 2017-12-07T11:56:25Z

I really like that the game is using the theme in an interesting way, the opposite of most submissions. The game opens more opportunities as you lose health. This is a really nice idea, that could be developed even further.

grooOW! by ladybenko 2017-12-07T14:25:11Z

I really like the minimalist look and the polish you put in the animation. It really help to make the game feel right. The concept is also straightforward and fun to play.

I think the ability to throw away the pickup after getting them would be nicer since you could correct your mistake without having to reload the level but also open new puzzle possibilities.

Don't Be Rash by Cosmic Adventure Squad 2017-12-04T12:18:30Z

"Nailed" it

Shooting Shadows by Sanvar 2017-12-04T12:11:52Z

Cool game especially since it's your first one! The music fit pretty well the game. I like how you reused the tail of the soul as a reward in the chest

Opening the chests can be challenging especially since most of the time you finished a wave of ghost. I also was confused by the souls. At first first I thought it was a projectile the ghost were launching.

Keep it up.

Servant of Greed by miki 2017-12-06T16:39:52Z

Gameplay is rather straightforward and the art style is really nice especially the death.

Slimefestation by Keppu 2017-12-04T17:24:49Z

Some really nice touch in this game. Really like the moment when you realise the red slimes are plotting something.

(does the guy actually kiss the slimes?!!)

Catch the Bag by Sudakov Aleksey 2017-12-04T17:18:18Z

Visually the game is quite nice. The jump is the obvious problem to enjoy the concept (the timer is reinforcing the problem) which is actually simple an quite nice. I also didn't realized at first that you didn't had to grab all the money in one go but you could bring it to the portal. I think this is a nice idea that would have allowed for interesting puzzles. I really wanted to see more levels but couldn't finish level 2.

Good job.

Jump Squad by Taiku 2017-12-04T17:48:24Z

This game is hard!!!! :) It controls relatively well but the level design is a bit too demanding. I keep dying even when I was controlling just the guy at the start.

Otherwise this is a really nice concept that is well executed. I really like how the platforms appear and the look of the characters.

Well done!

Statues by giucapan 2017-12-10T11:44:39Z

That was a really good short story. I think the mechanic of holding the space bar works really well and is so simple. The game is also exceptional visually and on the audio as they really server the feel of the story.

Because this is a great submission I will allow myself to nit pick: The effect of the light coming up when you release the space bar could be faster to increase the dramatic effect.

Mo Money Mo Problems by Oivin F 2017-12-10T11:23:26Z

I liked the idea of contracts, because you need to quickly figure out if it's a good deal or not. I think it was one of the most interesting idea in the game.

Well done.

LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

FTD : Fixin' to Die by nuclearfriend 2018-12-04T20:39:32Z

Amazing work! The game is really tough after few days but I kept playing because it felt so good.

Workspace by behzad_robot 2018-12-03T11:55:14Z

I was a bit skeptic when checking the screenshot but the game looks and play great. The art style stand out and all the small animation make the game feel really nice. I enjoyed finishing it. Nice work!

Save & sacrifice by deepnight 2018-12-05T13:02:51Z

Really cool game (as usual). It's like a kick-ass lemmings. All the actions feel really good despite the lack of sound effect and the puzzle elements are nicely paced. I wish the flight would be a bit more powerful but overall everything feel good and tight.

I really like also the particle feather when you fly, it's a really nice touch.

bamb by fasterthanlime 2018-12-04T20:27:12Z

Damn this is slick. And it seems there is some pretty interesting strategy. And I'm really bad at it or let's say the AI is really good.

El Juan's Takedown by Ajay.2002 2018-12-04T12:21:10Z

Really cool game. It's really nice to get an increasing amount of guys to do all the shooting. It really builds up to some epic moment.

You should contact @pov to switch your submission to a Jam (and not a compo).

Curse of the eastern god by Adrien Dittrick 2018-12-06T22:46:14Z

Really cool submission. I really didn't expect the story element. The player really goes through a journey which is really pleasing and keep you engaged. The game mechanic are simple but enough to keep you going.

Somehow playing it reminded it of the game Passage.

Really well done.

We Fight "Together"! by StratosKakalis 2018-12-04T12:00:11Z

This game is silly, this is great! It plays well and smoothly and the sound they do when launched is priceless. It would fair for the player to have a bit more soldier around because you shouldn't miss a shot to be able to win (except if I missed something).

The Chickening by Ryvencore 2018-12-03T11:39:55Z

That ending is priceless.... Well done, it plays well. The chicken are not to aggressive so at the end it really comes to how you control the crowd. The visuals, animations and music are great, only the SFX are missing which is a shame considered the quality level of the rest of the assets...

Edit: Just realized it was a Compo. I thought it was a jam because of how it looks. I've adjusted my scores. Double well done.

DEATH GUN by Flat-Anchor 2018-12-04T12:02:35Z

loved it but I was mostly impressed by the AI. Your enemy moves quite intelligently which is impressive for a compo game. Well done.

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Deep Seek by Sheepolution 2021-04-26T16:46:25Z

I couldn't run the mac version because the wrong permissions was set on the app. I changed them but the game was quitting after the first screen.

I tried the love file and I have the following error: ``` Cannot compile pixel shader code: Line 15: ERROR: Invalid call of undeclared identifier 'texture2D' Line 16: ERROR: Invalid call of undeclared identifier 'texture2D' Line 17: ERROR: Invalid call of undeclared identifier 'texture2D'

Deep Seek by Sheepolution 2021-04-27T07:43:20Z

ok the game is working for me now! Thanks for the fix :)

This is a really good entry.

At first diving is quite nice and relaxing but the experience become a bit more tensed quickly which is nice and kept me hooked. And despite the upgrades the tension is still very much present until the very end. That was a very nice balancing.

My only grip might be that especially at the beginning it bothered me that I had to rememeber where I already went or where I wanted to go. I made multiple fruitless back and forth because I kept being lost. After a bit I got used to it and I also realized there was pockets of air that made it easier (and necessary).

Doug: A Miner Drilling Incident by aaants 2021-05-01T14:09:22Z

Really nice and charming entry. Everything is really well polished.

My only small complaints would be that it is sometimes a bit unclear when the gravity will change.

Diggy the Dig by Yngvarr 2021-05-04T16:40:48Z

What a really nice game. It starts like a very standard platformer but how the bone is used throughout the level makes it really stand out. Having the bone bouncing back walls is a nice idea, especially when used to make the character double jump.

Really well done.

Holey Hell by managore 2021-04-27T07:53:00Z

Holey Hell this is good :D .. and hard quickly. I think my best score is 9

I really like how each biome have their own obstacles.

And of course visually this is brilliant.

Nuclear blaze by deepnight 2021-04-26T14:02:25Z

Really nice gameplay and flow as usual. The fire spreading mechanic feels nice and natural and adda a lot of pressure toward the end.

SNS.LSS//DRK.NSS by fourbitfriday 2021-04-27T08:40:26Z

The art direction and sound in this entry really kick ass. The abstract shooter style makes me think of Kenta Cho's work.

I really love how the enemy evolve between each level. It's like player's perk in rogue like turn on its head. And some evolution are really cool. If I may nit-picky I would say it didn't force me to play radically different so the experience didn't change much overall, well except the the difficulty of course.

Great work!

Abyssonaut by thomas-olsson 2021-04-27T08:13:18Z

This is a great entry. I absolutely loved it.

On the descent, the idea of the baloon is interesting and engaging and a good way to learn the mechanics. And on the way up this become really intense, a really great moment where everything comes together. This is brilliant.

The game also shine because of its mood. The visuals, sfx and music fit together really well to create a world.

Is there some auto targetting when throwing rocks at the enemies? I thought it was easier than expected which felt really nice when under pressure.

Abyssonaut by thomas-olsson 2021-04-27T11:00:08Z

@steve-dragon I think you can drop a rock by pressing down and e.

The Fool's Descent by NicMagnier 2021-04-26T14:16:35Z

@slowfrog-again yes unfortunately it is possible to be stuck because of a burned skeleton. Sorry about that. This is one of the many things I didn't had time to fix.

@azakharov I put some torches at the beginning just to get used to the interaction while you can see them from afar. After sleeping on it I think it would have been better to get coins by lighting the torches instead of the chests.

@43sam Thank you so much :) A big focus for me for this jam was to have this type of mechanic that create some domino effect and unplanned events. I also had a camera at the beginning with a soft focus on the character but I replaced the system to take more into account the cursor to see where you aim but it doesn't work well enough. Thanks for the feedback.

The Fool's Descent by NicMagnier 2021-05-01T09:34:44Z

@brian-mayberry thanks for the kind words. I did implement a damage cooldown but it seems at some point it broke for some reason. It is one of the bug I have listed and will fix.

@sheepolution Thanks for the feedback. The post process shader might be a bit too much but I always try to have shortcuts to disable feature if I can (even though I didn't document it so I guess you earned an achievement for discovering it)

Upset Crab by 43sam 2021-04-26T12:23:51Z

That's a really nice game LD entry. The art is really lovely. The gameplay works well. I actually like the very long attack, it forces you to be more deliberate. But it might be a bit repetitive during the levels (too many levels maybe?). When I faced the first boss I actually liked that it forced me to combine the dodge and attack, it was a nice pacing break.

Congrats for finishing your game :)

Speleo by H0pe86 2021-04-29T05:23:56Z

The sound design is just so cool in this game. I also really like the minimalist art direction, the colors used especially are really good. The game is good and straightforward. I would say that the collisions box on the rats are a bit too generous. It often feel better is they are smaller than they look. But otherwise congratulation, this is a really neat compo.

Dangerous Mine by fraanns 2021-04-26T08:38:55Z

jumping is a bit finicky but I was really in the flow of digging and picking up coins. When it starts to be really deep I like how over the top the number of bug become.

Stabalot by bw_devel 2021-04-26T16:36:35Z

This is a neat idea. I love the mechanic and the art direction. I really had trouble at first to understand how the cards were moving. Was I moving the whole column? Was the cards tried to move up or down? It took me few tries to understand that you actually move the empty slot.

A Shallow Dive by onnofal 2021-04-28T16:57:33Z

A very nice and clean puzzle game. A bit on the short side but I tend to prefer short game that are well polished liked this one that longer ones.

Smooth Debug by FabiGhindaru 2021-04-27T07:29:25Z

This is a really neat idea and interesting take on the theme. I especially like that you need to run a debug application on the side. This is a really nice touch. Some levels are a bit too hard and I would also say that the game might be too long. A shorter but denser experience works better for game jams :)

Quick Scrap by Vimlark 2021-04-27T08:28:15Z

I thought it was a Jam entry so I was surprised it was a compo actually because it has polished visuals, music sound effect, a good amount of levels, etc. impressive.

Overall the game is good with tight gameplay and a good challenge level.

Depths of the Mind by chris-mondok 2021-05-01T14:28:41Z

An unexpected mix of genre, that was quite funny to go to a stressful situation to reflect on life and be inspired,

I liked the control of the submarine with the ballast that consume your air. It was quite smooth and created a nice tension. Going down was relatively easy but I was getting really anxious since going up will consume much more of my air.

The contemplation per second depending of the depth work also quite nicely.

Overall a very nice entry. Well done.

The Caves of Dirt by Blue05 2021-05-01T09:51:44Z

This is a really nice compo entry with some really good level design.

I like that you drop a block at your feet and so can use it to step up. It create some interesting puzzle.

Lower Lower by Bokonon 2021-05-06T17:02:51Z

Easily one of my favorite entry I played for LD48. I was totally hooked. The game is brutal (especially the beginning), with instant death, lack of visibility, sparse checkpoints, but that really makes the experience unique and tense. I also love the minimalist approach. There is no enemy or score or timer. This is just you and the cave.

The music and sound effect also participate in making the descent incredibly moody.

Great work!

Who Designed This Ship?! by BhanosTheGameDev 2021-05-06T15:52:52Z

My High Score is 123 but I think I was pretty lucky :) A nice enjoyable game. Well done!

Turnip Brothers by oysuta 2021-05-01T10:19:23Z

I am so glad I played this entry.

At first I thought it was nice but maybe a bit too simplistic. I also found a bit difficult to see where I could go.

But the realization this is not just single screen self-contained puzzles but actual a whole single world was a nice twist. The mood with the music and visual is also really good and atmospheric. I reached the bubble and the flowers.

So overall the game feel very solid as a whole. This is a great submission and I loved the time I spent playing it. Thank you!

Moth extraction by rhys_vdw 2021-04-30T08:09:14Z

Oh wow that is so gross and brilliant at the same time. I especially love the contrast between the horrible goal and the nice and comforting color palette.

I really struggle to get the moth out and I some point I was able to do it using the other end of the tool and I think its beautiful.

Into Conflict by C4Scar 2021-04-30T08:33:43Z

I think as it was said before, the interface is a bit difficult to understand at first. Which counter am I is the biggest issue at first. The battle system is also a bit opaque.

But I like the idea of a integer strategy game in the style of rymdkapsel. World domination with low number to make is more digestible. It seems the gameplay is skewed toward stealth attack at first and go ballistic as soon as the focus is on you.

I spent a good time with the game. Congrats :)

LD49 — Unstable

Catastrophic Journey by Abregado 2021-10-06T13:16:06Z

I like how original the concept is. This is purely focused on where to go next and how to balance potential risk. It's quite simple but there is some good elements to make each turn interesting, which terrain is there, what risk I might encounter, where is the next village etc.

The main issue I had was the lack of feedback when getting hurt and gaining health. I understoof way too late that cillages were giving back some health wich is a crucial machanic to be able to progress.

SCANLINE by pdotjpg 2021-10-04T09:40:55Z

A very interesting concept. I love how you use this technical limitation of old computer and made a puzzle out of it. It took me a while to understand the order when object disappear depends of the object position when the number of object per line cross the threshold. So an object can still disappear even though it is not on the line anymore. It gets pretty tricky. I was stuck on a puzzle, but midway through writing this comment I got a ah ah moment. Passed for more levels and now I am stick again. I think I have an ideas how to solve it but that require a lot of fiddling around and risk to be stuck or die and to restart from scratch. Undoing moves would have been a big plus.

Overall, really nicely done. I am hooked.

Meltdown by Ghost20000 2021-10-05T12:54:09Z

It was a bit difficult to undersatnd at first, especially figuring what what we should do at first and what are the various components. But it uses very well the theme unstable because things gets out of hand pretty fast :) Well done!

Floor Falls by Toomblercazz 2021-10-05T08:52:02Z

The last level is really extremely well done with several ah ah moments when you figure out something to prgress a bit further. Having to work out floors you already solved to be able in the upper ones is a great mechanic. So yeah the difficulty ramp might be very steep but the design of the last level is quite brilliant.

Don't drop it! by Srynetix 2021-10-06T07:53:25Z

I was a bit confusing at first because I thought the bomb would explode at any hard impact so I made it harder for me that it is. The concept is good and the difficulty ramp made me engaged throughout the whole game.

One advice I would have is to not put too much variety in a game jam. You have quite some type of blocks and that takes a bit to fully digest them and explore them to their fullest. So I think having fewer blocks would have been benefitial, for example the dizzy one is interesting but a bit more frustrating than other blocks. And you showed that you can do some nice level design and I think this is where the game shine more. So TLDR, use fewer mechanic but use them in interesting ways in the level design.

Overall the game is really nice, well done!

Save the Reactor by Tvorojok 2021-10-08T08:56:05Z

that was a ton of fun and a ton of stress :D Really well done on the game, the various controls are fun and varied and it keep you on the edge throughout the game. Some button are a bit small which add too the stress but overall I do not have issue with the game. It looks great, sounds amazing and play really well. Top notch!

You can't leave by VeryGenuineCraze 2021-10-04T07:12:27Z

It's a really nice game. I love the minimalist presentation. The physics of the plank is also quite fun, it's unstable enough to always have to keep moving and correction the orientation but it is also more stable that it seems because it doesn't fall after the first crate hit it. It was probably tricky to balance(ah!) that aspect. My highscore was 1m09s. Really well done.

SNOOZLE! by wedgiebee 2021-10-08T09:01:10Z

I really had fun.

At first with all the introduction levels, I though the gameplay was a bit too shallow (click the star, collect the moon, etc.) but that the presentation was fantastic. But I was suprised when you started to introduce proper puzzle levels because I didn't expect it at the point. So I would say that there is maybe too much tutorialization and that it doesn't really show the real game early enough.

Oh and I loved the transition, when you yoom in the guy in the UI being the next level. That super well done and a really nice touch.

Amazing work on the game!!

Cytoplasm Madness by dagon 2021-10-05T15:56:20Z

Really cool game. I really love the art style and the music. It plays well. Maybe my main issue would be that the bullets are a bit too fast and difficult to dodge. But otherwise, well done.

Pink Dragon by Witchhat 2021-10-06T10:10:03Z

A platformer where the platform are very unstable is a good idea.

I think the game would have been a bit more enjoyable if it was a more generous toward the player, for example platform falling when you stand on them instead of just touching them, rotating platform with more friction, platform closer to each other etc.

But I like how the atmosphere, a scruffy and crumbling building, is used in connection with the gameplay (platform breaking down, dangerous falls). There is some nice unity there.

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Flood Runner by MKnooihuisen 2022-04-09T17:11:15Z

I made it to the end :)

I really like the concept of climbing the building and how to navigate the environment. It is a shame the controls and collisions were getting in the way.

Well done!

Shoal by Kerdelos 2022-04-05T13:39:31Z

Really fantastic art direction. The flat shading, the colors and animations, this is really great. Controlling the group of fish feel pretty natural and smooth. Losing a fish never feel nice (of course) because it feels they get stuck on tiny corner.

Overall a really great game. very inspiring.

TyPing Pong by Gao Ming 2022-04-05T09:29:55Z

The feedback on everything is super satisfying. From the sound effect for the typing, the ball hitting the text field, that particle effects. It feels so good.

Snooze by NicMagnier 2022-04-04T07:37:52Z

@bucketh3ad That was my first time using Godot also, so I don't know if you can use the project as a good example on how to do stuff :)

@Phil-c Aaaah your comment made me realise that there might be a bug in the enemy spawner. I schedule regularly small difficulty spikes and I probably don't reset it after a new game which mean you can start with more enemies than expected. Thanks for pointing it out!

Park Lane by DrunkardWolf 2022-04-04T07:16:19Z

This game is very atmospheric. The visuals and the sound effects are really selling the experience. There is some times where you feel you are stuck or miss something but the game gets going (no sure if the events are time based or depends on what you are looking or where you are)

Overall I really liked it a lot.

Tantric Adventurer by bucketh3ad 2022-04-04T08:23:30Z

I agree with the comments above. The music is very fun and gives a lot of personality to the game.

My Highscore is 733 so far. I like the idea is controlling the mob to get the point since there is some risk reward associated with it. I feel player collision is a bit too big though and you can collide with enemies a bit too unexpectedly.

Nice job overall :)

Space Death by loligxp 2022-04-06T20:39:56Z

I like how responsive the game is and generous with the upgrades. You feel you always do progress.

The chromatic aberration on the side of the screen is also a nice touch.

Nicely done Overall :)

Stanley's Last Stand by Ratrat44 2022-04-04T09:53:34Z

I had a blast with this game :) This is very difficult to control because the controls are quirky and this is physics driven but that makes 95% of fun. Doing cartwheel to kill robots is definitively not what I thought I would do today. I also love that the player is losing limbs as they get hurt (The last laser section was tough!)

Super fun entry :)

Merge Getaway by glitchman 2022-04-04T16:58:02Z

Really amazing game. I like the handling. It's tough to control but that the feeling that capture very much the high speed chase. The 3D is really great. I love the art direction.

I played quite a while (My high score is 53), this is always so tempting to launch a new game after being busted :)

My Last Hanami by Mahjoub 2022-04-04T06:59:12Z

The game looks and sounds incredible. everything is really nicely put together. Well done. The puzzles are on the easy side which is not bad since you keep progressing. And the regular power ups are always nice rewards.

Some bamboos where a bit difficult to pick up but I think that's the only issue I had.

ESCAPE VELOCITY by Quackqack 2022-04-08T16:26:31Z

At first I thought I had 4 type of rockets so I regretfully send a lot of humans straight to meteors. hoops :)

But when I finally understood that it was not only shooting meteor but also send safely escape pods, that was a more interesting. Finding the right timing and direction for escape pods is tough.

Using code to activate rockets is interesting but I think the game would have been as interesting but less frustrating without it.

Overall very well done.

I Wanna Be Awake for This by Sererena 2022-04-05T15:05:11Z

I will start to use the brick to wake up for my next Game Jam!

Good Boy eats the treat. by RobbzenOne 2022-04-08T16:51:15Z

That was fun. The theming with the dog chasing a treat is a really nice and original idea. (Love the details of the dog saliva on the corner of his mouth)

I am not sure about the best strategy to get the best score though. It is not juste about avoid obstacles as well as possible right? You need to be as far as possible from the dog so that the meter doesn't go down? I found the system not so straightforward and it is a bit confusing to be eaten when you are really far (and the opposite too)

Overall it was a really fun game with really lovely graphics and music. Well done!

(got a pretty good score though...) Screenshot 2022-04-08 at 18.46.44.png

Decontamination by KenForest 2022-04-06T21:05:29Z

Impressive atsmosphere and sense of mystery. The picking up tasks were a bit repetitive and it is very easy to get lost but this is a bit the point on the experience. Overall I really liked it. Well done.

Life - Delaying Death by Itzemii 2022-04-05T13:28:43Z

As usual you do very zen-like games :) At the beginning I thought the balancing was a bit too much on the easy side but I was clearly wrong and the end is kind of depressing (no more joy for you!) got some vibes from the game Passage :)

Losing Your Sheet by rickylee 2022-04-05T11:35:28Z

I love the feel of the game. The actions feel good and this is great how the sail is used in different ways. The difficulty feels a bit unfair after 120 meters though. You have to stop every few meters to empty the boat again and the sail doesn't absorb much (something like a bucket would be much more handy ;))

Overall I enjoyed playing it. There is something about the boat just going there own way alone that is very funny to me :D

JellyJam by potkirland 2022-04-06T20:08:40Z

I don' know how you did the water effect but this is really cool looking.

BOX IN OX by Jonah_SRG 2022-04-04T06:43:41Z

Great game! There is some nice strategies on how to place the blocks to keep the playfield clean and low and a good tension since you don't want the bull to break the items.

LD53 — Delivery

Air Delivery by pianoman373 2023-05-06T08:48:29Z

Really great game. Super well done. I really enjoyed the mini Metroid mania vive of exploring the level and find new ways to proceed further.

Fridge Floppers by Split82 2023-05-03T08:41:08Z

This one is a banger. Absolutely great. The game plays great and this is so much fun to figure the physics to pass levels.

Elite Delivery. Pizza Dangerous by boddiul 2023-05-08T10:55:01Z

ah ah excellent interpretation of the theme. I love that you need to deliver the pizza but it is also your ammunition. The damage point could be higher so that a game session would be shorter.

Oh and the pizza rotation is really neat.

THREE GUYS - Pizza and Cheese by pfeyffer 2023-05-08T16:54:55Z

Really cool concept. It was a bit confusing at first but I found that having 2 by 2 cards that can be inserted by both ends create a really good dynamic and puzzle game. This is also a really nice use of braille. Kudos for that.

really cool submission.

Crank Shot - A Playdate game! by AffinityChris 2023-05-08T19:57:51Z

Cool entry. I tried it on device and for 173. As SquidGo said, this is a bit difficult to control the aim, hold the console and turn the crank at the same time. The difficulty curve takes also a bit too long to pick up and suddenly multiple enemies can appear at the same time. But overall this is really cool. The art is neat and easy to read. The scale animation when enemies appear works really well.

Deliver to Whence you Came by JUSTCAMH 2023-05-06T09:11:42Z

I loved it. At first the game seems pretty straightforward, just kick to ball to the end of the level. But when the wall start moving that was really unerving and fascinating. As you progress you get a better understanding how to control them. Really awesome concept and level design.

maritime delivery job by CodeForJoyCaro 2023-05-03T06:02:55Z

Really chill. Feels already like holidays. I like that there is stuff to avoid but that's not too difficult to avoid them. That keeps the game really smooth. I think the water effect is really really good. The animation and the flickering light really sells the effect.

The map is big which is nice to navigate and plan but when I had to go the the sought east I had less visibility.

📯 POSTAL HERO 🏹 by Caca 2023-05-03T07:33:09Z

wow what a really cool game.

The art and animation is amazing. Same the music that create a really nice relaxing atmosphere. I like also the sorting mechanic and how it get increasingly more difficult.

Really amazing work.

Inaka Flowers by SquidGod 2023-05-08T20:19:40Z

Really chill and relaxing. Simple mechanic done well. I ride my bike until the sea and I was happy about it.

Awesome Job as usual Squidgod.

Parcel Trouble by DominikaM33 2023-05-04T20:22:37Z

The game looks really nice. However I was not sure how to interpret the rules. You should add the picture of the boxes on the itch page to make it clearer.

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Just Bill by gamedevbynight 2018-04-23T18:17:24Z

A pretty cool submission. I really liked the level design and physics based puzzles. the physic and platforming is a bit finicky but the level design really made the game good. I finished it and really enjoyed it. Well done.

Dememtory by Tommislav 2018-04-23T11:05:58Z

I was skeptic about playing memory in a console but I was hooked by the writing. Well done.

Apocalypse Tycoon by javicepa 2018-04-27T11:21:07Z

Really cool game. It is hard and you get easily trapped in dead ends but this is cool that you are powerless and that you have to rely on others survivors. The day and night cycle is quite fast which made it a bit difficult to prepare for an attack and to do some base preparation but trying to survive was already fun.

PE@CE by bwalter 2018-04-23T10:51:55Z

I really like the aesthetic of the game. It makes it also a bit difficult to read a level and the various pitfall but I think that is part of the charm. Special kudos for the smoke effect that are really neat and really sell an atmosphere. The level design is also super well done and varied. At some point I got stuck in the game. I got an ank , died and the ank was not there anymore so I couldn't progress.

Nightclub Showdown by deepnight 2018-04-25T11:12:43Z

It's really addictive. I kept dying in wave 6 but I restarted so many time to at least reach wave 7. Super well done.

Typey Boi The Game by DragonZBW 2018-04-23T20:31:38Z

Really neat and very well done. I love the art style which is minimalist and extremely well done.

the gameplay is good and I enjoyed it but my issue is that on some keyboard to do an apostrophe (which is use in multiple sentence in the game) you have to press shift which switch to defence mode. I guess we can say this is the hard mode. It's also a shame that the puzzles repeat themselves.

But overall this is really excellent

Typey Boi The Game by DragonZBW 2018-04-23T20:32:37Z

oh! another small improvement, it would be nice to be able to start typing even when the character move between scenes.

Idle Shooter by NicMagnier 2018-04-27T16:24:51Z

@coldmoose you can shoot the tumbleweed and cactuses to get gold. When you have enough gold you can buy more upgrades, buy a pass for the next level etc.

I realized that I didn't add more info on the page since the submission when I wrote a short blurb and went to bed. I will edit the page with some instructions.

Idle Shooter by NicMagnier 2018-05-01T05:39:00Z

@jackrugile thanks for the detailed feedback. I was aware of most your points before submitting (except the menu screenshake which I actually didn't realized, strange) and all of them are pretty straightforward to solve. But I simply had to prioritise because of a lack of time.

Usually I release an new version to solve these kinks but this time I decided to leave it as it was for jam because I don't like have a jam version and a updated version on my itch.io page.

Lost Without You by jackrugile 2018-05-01T06:01:18Z

I really love how polished and clean the game is. The particles following the character are amazing. All the music, sound effect, typeface, light effects everything is top notch and well produced I am never a fan of maze game but it wa still enjoyable because of the atmosphere and the light mechanic which add some tension.

Ways of Being by Turncoda 2018-04-23T16:38:10Z

Very cool. I like the simplicity of it.

Erglow by benbusby 2018-04-27T11:40:39Z

Very interesting and it surprisingly works quite well to mix choose your own adventure and platforming. I really like the look of the characters (even though their collision could be a bit more forgiving)

Nicely done!

TetriShooter by MilkShake 2018-04-23T16:54:21Z

Cool concept that really embraced the theme. Well done. It would be nice to get more health when you make 4 lines disappear at once.

Shoodoku by BonyBits 2018-04-23T16:42:15Z

That is an excellent use of the theme. Really great idea. But that way too difficult to me.

Gone Vroom by Jon Remedios 2018-04-23T12:43:57Z

That was short but that was neat! Very nice payoff ;)
