Very nice! I haven't played very many PICO 8 games, so it's hard to judge the graphics/SFX, but it's very cute, and well polished.
My favorite parts: - The spinning pizza, meaning that the pizza-ammo came *from the pizza* as opposed to just a separate element.
Suggestions: - There was little incentive to shoot the enemy. Maybe you could have had them stack up, and punish the players inaction?

Fun game! Very polished, I like the faux-3d visuals and radial gameplay. I did feel the difficulty could have ramped a lot faster, it felt like I could go on for a while.

Having a flying pizza fly through space and it being the ship, the delivery and your weapon at the same time is pretty funny!
It's slightly annoying that the enemy can shoot you during "spawn". But without that you could play on for very long, since it doesn't seem like any enemie(s) spawn without the old one being shot, so there is only one enemy which you can dodge easily.
The 3D effect is pretty cool!
I feel a bit sorry for the population of these planets, getting only a single pizza between all of them :)
I loved the aesthetics, and the idea of throwing pizza slices at the enemies is genius
I think this is enough.

Nice dual purpose design having to use your potential score to kill enemies. Too bad it doesn't really work that well as killing enemies is not a good strategy at all. Killing them gives no points or anything really and just deducts from your points. Much better to just keep them facing away from you and snipe deliver full pizzas.

Skipping planets has no penalty at all either so you could pretty much go infinite if playing patiently and carefully. Skips should really penalize score/health somehow and having enemies spawn even if you didn't kill the previous one would deter away from the cheese pacifist strategy. Dunno if such would be feasible to implement with pico and such visuals.
Speaking of visuals, looked cool! Nice pseudo-3d on pico, I like it. Sounds left something to be desired though. I was just that same "pew pew pew" on repeat and pretty much nothing else. Got kinda irritating.
Was this end text dupe thing intended?

Anyways, good job! For some reason pico games more often than not deliver (pun intended). Just would need some balancing and slight gameplay loop fine tunes. 👍
Fun twist on a classic concept. It was often easier to just avoid the enemies, maybe give some points for shooting them?

The game is fun but starts feeling very samey pretty soon (or maybe I don't have the patience :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:) I love the homage to the classics, and I like your aesthetic.
The launching slice, spinning/empty chamber, pizza canon is inspired.
I really like the fancy almost 3d effects you pulled off in Pico 8! The gameplay hook was really nice and the shooting mechanism was a unique take to prevent mindless button mashing. The only part I had trouble understanding was the range at which you’re too close to the planet to continue delivering pizza. It felt way too soon and for a while I thought some other mechanic was prematurely ending the round. Other than that it’s a solid little infinite arcade game.
This game is incredibly cute, with a simple addicting gameplay loop. nice work!

As mentioned above by @antti-haavikko, the design idea is great, as well as the 3D effects on Pico 8. I liked how ou were able to keep a reasonable scope especially for pico. Also agree with Antti on the music / audio and the punish side of skipping planets. All in all great entry in my opinion, glad to have played it! :)
pico gang! very nice graphics with the variety of pizzas and the 3d-ish effects. nice, smooth transition from the title screen to the actual game as well. aiming is not perfect but I take it as part of the pico8 experience. great job!
Fun game with lovely graphics. The only thing I would try to adjust is the enemies because you can avoid it infinitely. I would make it so that after some time if the enemy hits nothing more enemies. These enemies would stay on the opposite sides of the orbit so that there are no safe spots over time unless the enemies get killed.
Fun stuff! Great to see some fantasy console stuff as well! I feel balance is a bet off? I find it's always better to avoid the enemy than to shoot? score: 604

Super fun 3d Pico-8 game! I'm always so impressed by what people can do with such limitations. I love the space invaders vibes I'm getting from it too. And the feel of it is just perfect.

Hilarious idea executed really well! I especially like the shading on the planets. Only nit was getting shot when my pizza had just been delivered.
I thought my pizza is my hitbox but turns out it wasn't so I get couple hits after delivering a pizza. Oh well, might try avoiding lasers next time.
ah ah excellent interpretation of the theme. I love that you need to deliver the pizza but it is also your ammunition. The damage point could be higher so that a game session would be shorter.
Oh and the pizza rotation is really neat.
Nice fun game, really loved the retro graphics and sound, cute gameplay. Well done!

It's hard to resist unnecessarily shooting slices off into space because it's so satisfying. The graphics and feel of the game are great. I'd love more enemies to justify sending slices out (and to make it hitting them more meaningful), but as-is I really enjoyed the concept. Nice work!
