A very enjoyable game. :) I really like the idea behind it and the physics!

My internet's inability to connect to free hosting makes me sad. :( You should upload it to Dropbox instead.
The music is a repetitive, but beyond that, the graphics, story, and gameplay are charming.
Really impressive output!! Definitely thought it was a Jam game, so even more kudos. Only nit is that the movement could be a little faster.
Hilarious idea executed really well! I especially like the shading on the planets. Only nit was getting shot when my pizza had just been delivered.
Adore this entry, it's so calm and pleasant. Of course, music would add something, but the base is great. Good work!
Love the artwork especially!! I did not say one coherent word but that was part of the fun xD
Really cute game and I love the graphics! How do you figure out the mood of what ChatGPT replies to you?? The character seems to changes faces whether the reply is angry or happy.
Your itch link is broken by the way.
I can play it now, thanks! Cool concept. :)
I'm in this game and I like it! I haven't played too many match-3 games and this one was really fun. :) The music was especially great.
Truly the jellyfish of all jellyfish. I wish there was a freeplay mode where there were no objectives, I was just a kitten batting around yarn balls. Really cute.
Really amazing... came back to ldjam expecting it to have about 5 collaborators. Great work!!
Fun little maze world to explore. Like it and it made me feel cozy. :)
Agreed on the controls being a bit tough. I found that I kept rotating too quickly, so I was constantly missing targets and there was also some clipping. Maybe I'll have to try again with a controller. :) Otherwise, the graphical effects are cool and I think the music matches the mood of the game really well!
Fun clicker game! The mountain vista is beautiful and I agree with SugarSugarSugar that the music is amazing. I feel like the concept is really eligible for a web version.
I'm always imagining putting frogs in games, but I never have. This game is a perfect manifestation of that fantasy! The art and voice sounds are so so good. I agree with the comments on contrast, and I think a swampy sounding song would be a nice addition for the post-LD patch. Overall, great work!!!
Cool game, really logical and satisfying game loop. Definitely one of the games that I've 'picked-up' the fastest of the ones I've played this Jam! Only note is that darn bullseye was so picky about where I put the package!
@junagames Thanks! Agreed, if I had more time one of my main ideas was to merge the street changing into one button.
@stephen-kyranakis Thanks for the feedback! Those are great ideas, I'll keep them in mind if I keep working on the game.
Thanks for the playing the game everyone and for all the feedback!! I made a walkthrough to make the story more do-able https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/53/a-city-minute/a-city-minute-walkthrough-guide.
@silverknives Great idea! A quest where you collect items to trade or build something would be cool.
@kypello Agreed, originally I had intersections that gave you two options at once, but I designed that out during crunch time! Thanks for playing. :)
Thank you all for the comments and for playing the game!
Cool game, overall really polished!! It reminds me of Diablo in a good way. :)
Incredibly moving game. I would want this game to exist and to find it and play it even if Ludum Dare didn't exist, makes me think about all the great stories I don't get to hear just because I don't stumble upon them. Thank you for making it and for commenting on my game so I could end up here!!
Love the look of this game, it's cool, cute, and funny! I think it would help if some of the mutant attacks looked less like the player's.
Loved the mix of the pixel art and vfx like shading and blurring. Really professional and impressive entry. :D
Love the minimal aesthetic. Feels like you did a ton with a little, including a very interesting mechanic in the boat, and really cool sound effects!
Really like the mechanics. It's fun how you move faster when you don't have the box. I think adding an arrow where you'll throw the box could make it a little clearer. Otherwise, cool game!
Really cool concept and art! I think letting the player drag the world with the mouse in addition to WASD would be cool, kind of like Google Earth.
I really appreciate that the tutorial is built into the game. :) Only nit was that I wasn't sure which was the depot, but that's on me. Great work!
Love the enemy art especially. The movement felt great too, though shift was a little awkward, might have opted for a double jump or something instead. Overall, great work!!
