Cute! This is impressive for a compo game. Noone mentioned this in the comments, so maybe it's just me having a idiot moment but I couldn't work out how to use the knife to cut the bushes in the way? But I feel I got the idea of the game from the preceding section. I liked the sprites for the animals and I really liked how the trees were used as tunnels. Given it's a compo entry I'm not suprised there's no music but having a cute tune over this would rule. I do feel it could use more challenge as the enemies didn't seem to bother me much.

Gamefeel and vibes are great here. Enjoyed the enemy patterns and how they move. The music was great, the only real criticism was that the shooting noise was too harsh.

This was really cool! Really enjoyed the presentation with the map and the music really helped sell that. The gameplay was fun, enjoyed the auto-shooting with the upgrades. Really great job!

I love the graphic style used. It and the palette were super crisp and it was a pleasure to look at. Gameplay-wise, I didn't get very far... I think I fluked the first jump and then once I got the first key I couldn't get back. I feel the life system might not have been needed as it seemed pretty tough and without it I think people might be more willing to stick it out.

Stesim nailed my thoughts on this. Pretty fun, though rather than even thinking I would just try and ram stuff into the zone given the time limit. I would love to see a puzzle version of this sans timer but where you have to think about how to stack them. Enjoyed the vibe, graphics were great and the game was pretty fun!

Really enjoyed the PS1-era graphics and think you nailed the atmosphere here. Enjoyed the shooting mechanics, would have liked more integration of the theme (for example if the cargo took damage) but I had a lot of fun and I think you nailed what you set out to do.

Reading these comments, maybe I didn't quite "get it". I certainly wasn't out here grabbing bullets. I enjoyed the vibes though much like another comment says, it would have been cool if they were more like the start screen. The graphics were real neat. I'm unsure if I was just bad and didn't get to the bit where you grab bullets or if I missed a tooltip so most of the game for me, was throwing boxes at people.

really think dafluffypotato covered the issues really well. My main issue was that the snails didn't prove to be much of an obstacle. Liked the consistent graphics & the SFX fit nicely. Impressive this was made with no engine. I actually did like the high speed, that along with the ability to fire so quick gave a fun gamefeel.

Cool idea. For me the map was way too big and the timer also too long without much to do. I ended up waiting a long time for enemies to spawn and they took a long time to get to the dragon (which is where I'd placed my turrets.). I enjoyed the music and the track change once enemies spawn and I really liked the sprite for the dragon.

Maybe I was too much of a wuss because I just ran from everything until something at the end killed me!
