really creative take on the theme- was rly cool to play! Given its time pressured it would be nice to have a pause screen but thats a minor complaint given time constraints. Good job :P

do you have a download version? the web isnt working
I won! Could do with sound effects but even without it was a rly fun atmosphere. good job :P
I was just enjoying driving around tbh lol. If you were to continue this it could be a rly good casual/background game without needing a score/lives. Rly good submission :P
I saw your fox art on the discord! The pixel art is so cute. I usually cant get behind that mess with control schemes but it was done pretty well here. It might also be nice to have the music carry over between stages if possible. Really cool jam overall :P
Really nice game, genuinely enjoyable to play even if it wasn't a jam game. Maybe the hammer could have a stronger impact? The rhythm aspect was rly good so you should lean into that. Overall very gud
Decently polished for a jam game! Would be cool to have part of the intro explain the changing guns given you made other lore, but all in all rly cool :P
Aw cute game. Voice acting was top tier and art was amazing. I'm not sure I put in as much thought as I probably need to for a deck builder game but I still won lol
There is no way on earth you made this during the jam haha its such a massive game. Great job all around. Only possible feedback is i was very lost when the game started so a tutorial of some kind or just a pop up with my end goal could have been nice but thats nitpicky and i figured it out pretty quick anyway
This game saved my life
I'm so bad at this game haha. Great job on finishing this in compo. It was sometimes hard to pre-empt the lightening when the clouds are higher up than the screen
Really interesting game and frankly absurd you made a multiplayer game in a game jam lol. Difficulty curve is tight but a lot of fun
Very cute game with well written dialogue. It would be nice to have an intro or some way for the story to be told within the game but given time constraints it wasn't a major issue by any stretch
Interesting take on the theme. Gotta love a bit of organ harvesting lol
Hey cool game had a good time playing. Controls weren't a problem for me but i could see it being very unforgiving. It wasn't very clear how many chances i had left- I thought i had only failed one but it ended anyway. Other than that good vibes and with a bit of extra content and other things to do like maybe ship upgrades or customisation would really make the game great
Very cute game and idea. Popcorn looks very good
Very cute and relaxing game good job!
The art is soo cute i love it. The map position was rough at times but that was all part of the game. Could have used music or ocean sounds but given its a jam thats fair enough :P
I'm getting a webGL error of some kind (running it full screen so thats not the issue) Do you have a downloadable as well so I can still check the game out?
Legend thanks. Only possible issue would be the layering was a bit odd for the player. You could stand above the doctor but still be in front which looked aesthetically a bit odd. Really the best criticism i have tho so rly good game other than that
Cool game and love the gamemaker lol. It was pretty hard to get used to the steering and particles or an arrow indicator of some kind would have gone a long way to help that. Music was vibing and the art was well made and it was a really smooth experience from a bug etc perspective
Really interesting idea. I found the narrators voice to be a bit annoying but thats just personal preference. I think this game would have benefitted from heavier use of directional audio (it was very nice further into the game) and gather bearings in that sense
Awesome game especially given the time frame. The dead end paths were a bit harsh lol but that may be a skill issue on my part
@groundwater-studio Yeah totally get what you mean. I'd love to flesh out the game more so you have more time to play around with the mechanics but didn't want to introduce everything at once. Also ran out of time to make my own music which was a rip. Maybe something for a post jam version we'll see :P glad you enjoyed anyway
@zungryware Your feedback is rly helpful and I really appreciate the detail. I'll definitely reference it when I get around to making a post jam version. The not flipping an object was going to be a mechanic but as with a lot of my games I have a tendency to implement at least one bad mechanic and that was definitely it lol. First thing to get scrapped in a post jam promise. Thanks so much for playing :P
@jimmymcginger its a mechanic properly introduced towards the end so you didn't miss a tooltip or anything. In a post jam version I'd like to lean into the vibes from the start screen but time was tight and I didn't really have much time to commit in the end towards atmosphere outside of a few clouds and a blue backdrop. Definitely something I'll be focussing on in a post jam :P
Awesome game even without the fact you did it as a compo. I kind of suck at puzzles but did get those aha moments every puzzle dev strives for so you succeeded there. freely rotating the camera would have been appreciated and the controls got a bit weird at times with rgb letters for the objects and backspace etc to restart but It wasn't a big issue with the always on screen keybinds. The fans could have also benefitted from some kind of wind animation etc so It didn't just feel like i was pushing the crates but actually blowing them across. Literally all the feedback I can come up with lol its a great jam game
Love the atmosphere of the game and its rly pretty. It was very annoying when the pause menu didnt save my position but not a major major issue. Also if you were to continue the game giving an intro or something in game when you start could help ground what you're doing a bit more. Other than that nice game :P
Fun game but as other comments mentioned it wasn't fully clear what the goal was or whether I was completing orders correctly
Yooo a fellow gamemaker user! Fun game and good take on the theme but could have used some animations of the boxes coming in
Really interesting game but it was a bit too overwhelming at first. Being given less cards at once or being explained the types of damage and what the goal is would help. Love deck builders tho and this is a solid jam one
Really interesting idea and game looks gorgeous. Reminded me of that other game with the girl with her tongue stuck to an icy pole. I think you should have played more with the cord being useful other than charging- maybe for moving things but yeah all in all very good game let alone for a jam
Fellow gamemaker user :>. Great game except for the minor bugs like the player flickering when the mouse is above them but wasn't a dealbreaker by any stretch
Was a lot harder on a an english keyboard trying to convert to zqsd instead of wasd and also wasn't quite sure what the goal was at the start but other than that a lot of fun!
Pleasant vibe and game was well made. Wasn't sure how well I was doing some some kind of score could have helped maybe but overall good game
Interesting game. Would have been nice to have an in game tutorial and also an indication of what cards i can get. I kept drawing new cards to get something better than a pion and it never happened. Cool game overall and would be interesting to see what it could have improved if it had more time
I really could not get into the game. You get given like no time for each customer haha. Skill issue maybe but trying to determine what the spell should be, memorize the pattern and execute all in like 10 seconds was a bit brutal. Plus i had to desperately try interact with objects for a while to even figure out there was a recipe book. Loved the art and vibe but the gameplay wasn't very accessible
This is definetely not a summoning game and is literally just guitar hero. Youre lucky its really really fun haha. RIP Akira Toriyama
Cool art platforming and mechanics. Just have no idea what im supposed to do. Ran around for a while just pushing buttons and spamming boxes but didnt really get it
mr meeseeks style blaming. Very cool concept and super unique. Love the art style
just some lil guys. Very cute game, audio would have gone a long way but not a fault of the game
my little guys were very stupid and kept getting themselves killed. accurate having a child sim
Interesting game but quite hard to get into and control. Even reading the full text I still couldn't quite work out what was happening. The concept is 100% there tho and given more time it would be an amazing indie game
Fun game with cool mechanics, felt suprisingly smooth given grappling hooks are normally super hard to make feel good in 3d. However quite challenging and maybe felt a bit unfair when buckets cancelled your movement. The audio was also so unpleasant haha.
really cool game and concept, thanks porter is a new inside joke with my friends now. I think we keep getting a bug where they ask for an item we were never given tho. Also glitched my hand outside the bag by accident and couldnt get it back in lol. With a bit more polish could be a great random steam game imo
Definitely one of the fishing games of all time. Honestly I was having a lot of fun just driving the boat around lol. In future I'd maybe drop the rent system and lean into the relaxing aspect of the game
Brutal game but super cool. Glad to see another minesweeper variant and an interesting one at that. My one wish is that somehow the levels could scroll into the next one rather than being separate
Cool game art is very satisfying. The punches didn't feel very impactful, it might be nice for them to be faster and do a little screenshake. Overall had a good time playing
Very cute game and fits the theme perfectly
