That is a perfect game right here, can't you see? The graphics are top notch.

swordofblood 2023-05-02 14:23

It's just really amazing game!

tvorojok 2023-05-02 14:32

Nice conception! i like your game, because it is new expirience. Once i visited exhibition where there was no light and this is an incomparable experience, and You did the same thing! Bravo

This is amazing, I haven't thought you would be able to make this concept work, but you did! Very smooth sound transitions and queues, the minimalism helped me clearly paint the picture of the wonderful idyllic forest in my head. Super cool entry, one of my favorites!

Graphics couldn't be more perfect, and I enjoyed playing through it :D

How does the turning work, though? I assumed it would be 90 degree turns, but at some point the lumberjack guy said turn right like 6 times while on the same spot, so that got me a bit confused lol

This is so smart! Once I player a similar game on the phone in the night, it’s such a perfect calm experience. The beginning with the hints was perfect, but once I reached the girl I got lost and was going in circles, sometimes hearing her singing when she was there. Her hints would help a lot. Other than this great submission!

juliette-desmaisons 2023-05-04 15:08

Wow that's seriously so smart! I had so much pleasure playing it! It's a super creative and interesting gameplay, without having overcomplicated controls. The humor is really great as well! Super impressive!

james-laird 2023-05-05 01:54

Clever! Really innovative design. There's room for a little confusion about how the controls work; do left/right rotate the player? Game breaks if I don't completely understand what the basic rules are. For a game with no graphics, audio needs to be great and it is.

really unique experience . played it with my eyes closed

bangkerpow 2023-05-05 02:04

I didn't have a guide between the lady and the guy who was sawing. The music at the end was a bit loud relative to the rest of the audio. I also had trouble when the volume control had focus so the game wouldn't register my other keys. All that said, this was an excellent game. The sounds were great. The jokes were funny. I played with my eyes closed and had a very memorable experience.

daivyishere 2023-05-05 08:22

@frib @james-laird Yes, you need to hold left/right to slowly rotate the player. That was my fault not explaining it clearly. Thanks for playing and I really appreciate the kind words :))

Interesting idea! Unfortunately I got lost obtaining the qwoissaaaan. Where's the path? Who can tell me where to go? Is anybody there? Help?

alpalcalad 2023-05-06 21:06

Really interesting idea. I found the narrators voice to be a bit annoying but thats just personal preference. I think this game would have benefitted from heavier use of directional audio (it was very nice further into the game) and gather bearings in that sense

quoc 2023-05-07 09:52

Best game I've played so far. The concept is brilliant and it was fun to play!!! T

sonofsofaman 2023-05-07 12:56

Easily the most original concept I've seen in this, or any, game jam. I can envision this idea being developed even further. Picture this: a Zork-like interactive game with puzzles to solve, mazes to navigate and hazards to overcome.

Come for the croissants, but stay for the end-music!

alex-mcgrath 2023-05-07 19:17

This is great! I was certain this was a gag game from the onset but as soon as I started playing it all fell into place and I was able to make it through pretty easily! Headphones definitely helped.

gonzo13 2023-05-07 22:42

This is awesome! So cool expirience in game!

justcamh 2023-05-10 15:06

The graphics in this game really blow my mind, most incredible art that I've ever not seen. It's really neat though how you've made a game that can be fully played blind. You can really hear where you are in relation to the other things, the footsteps for example stop when against a wall, the step sounds indicate what you're standing on and the npcs reference different materials when describing places you needa go, a great auditory hint! Here's the link to the stream vod if you'd like to rewatch;

can't say I can rate high on the graphics, but a pretty innovative and interesting game!

mark-a-pressler 2023-05-19 21:54

Very cool concept. Made me appreciate those who are blind. Navigating the world through sound only is definitely a challenge. Nice job!
