LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Terra Nova by N4tticus 2022-10-18T22:23:56Z

This is such a fun little game! It's a hot mess of chaos in all the best ways - from silly humor in the pretense and dialogue to the absurd heft of some of these attacks (especially the ultimate ability, which has a super fun animation)

The audio is simple, definitely does the job, though as others have noted there are definitely some effects you could add as well.

The screenshake is absurd as well, and I actually don't really mind it - I think it fits the vibe of the game well. Overall, this is a solid entry! Well done!

escape by mikouaji 2022-10-20T16:04:16Z

Okay this is fun! I love the premise, reminds me of the old flash helicopter game but with time constraints and a fun 10 second mechanic. The first time I survived for 10 seconds, I was shocked by the earthquake thing, which was a super cool moment! The booms are a bit too loud and distorting my speakers, but other than that the audio is super cool!

The speed of acceleration is quite hard to master, but I think that helps make it a challenge as well. It's hard to say but I think balance wise the controls might need some fine tuning.

Great entry!

Fall Apart by AlgeBRUH 2022-10-20T15:20:24Z

This is definitely a fun entry, though I have to say alongside the others that without any visual or audio feedback it took me a moment to realize you hold F down. Could use some additional animations and audio cues for things breaking, fixing, and movement, but otherwise it's a solid concept! Also have to say that the music fits the vibe quite nicely. Great work!

10 Second Traffic by Grandblood 2022-10-20T16:27:22Z

This is stupid fun. I love the concept of permanent upgrades (downgrades?) and the sound effects in this are just hilarious. Really well rounded and a good fun time! Will definitely keep playing to see what happens with just an insane combination of chosen powerups!

LD53 — Delivery

You crane do it! by crazyrems 2023-05-18T19:21:38Z

This is a cute game! I love the physics and the humor in the dialogue. My one gripe is that the zoom feature is not mentioned in the tutorial message, and you can't see certain important things without zooming in, so I almost got stuck. I'd add it to the help message and also render things from further away so that you can see them clearer. The shadow of the object/crane hook should also show from further up so you can see where you're depositing your stuff/people!

Goblin Trail by tukisboolukis 2023-05-18T19:49:06Z

This is fun! I love the delivery theme, and the upgrades are sensible! Some more feedback and info on what each cargo is would help make things clearer. Great work!

D.I.Y Deliver it yourself by mechanicallife 2023-05-05T20:53:16Z

Okay, there are some great things in here! I love the menu, it is really well designed looks awesome. However, the race part of the game has some shortcomings that are a bit frustrating to play through - the turning mechanics don't feel like a traditional inertia-based movement system, so it's a bit unwieldy to control with mouse and keyboard. If you added some drifting I think that would help. The spline system for the tracks also does not really play nice, giving some really abrupt changes that are hard to see with the low resolution of the track textures. I would think that adding some more detail to the track textures somehow might help fix that, since there is still a fun challenge in making it work well! I love tube-racing style games, though, and this is a great start for one! Absolutely LOVE the idea of making your own maps using resources from your gameplay, and with some more helpful tooltips it would be pretty easy to use! Good work here!

TrainTrackTrouble by dikkop 2023-05-18T19:27:10Z

The audio in this is FANTASTIC, great music and effects. I enjoy this fun take on whatever genre this is, and I think all that needs to be done here is just more content and more progression! Great foundation here for more content.

Cube Delivery by Ayced 2023-05-18T19:03:08Z

This is a fun puzzle game! It has some interesting mechanics and some great level design, but as everyone has noted the bloom makes it incredibly difficult to tell which colors are where. In my opinion there's not enough feedback to the user about how certain elements work (for example level 4's death panels and the purpose of the extra cubes on the side) and it would be nice for the game to highlight a reset button in the center when you break a box rather than having to find the reset button, but that's just my own personal taste! Good work!

Holding Out by Jeremy Ryan 2023-05-05T20:21:16Z

Oh god, you've combined two of my biggest fears with this one - zombies and contacting customer support! This is such a solid and innovative game, the graphics are so clean and simple, the gameplay is great (although I will say the pacing is a bit tricky, as it ramps in waves much faster than I could get ammo from the supply center), and the audio is well done - the hold music is fantastic and I love how you integrated it into the game! Well done!

Deliver Us From Evil by F1Krazy 2023-05-07T18:49:59Z

Nice work! This is a cute game, I think it definitely qualifies for the word delivery, but you could easily have added an overarching "delivery" mission to deliver a message or something along those lines just to make perfectly sure it fit! Otherwise, this is pretty fun, though the hitboxes and controls don't feel amazing and the type of game isn't particularly innovative as a whole. Still, it's well done!

Parcels, Please by Neon Glass 2023-05-07T18:14:46Z

This is cool! I love the concept of a papers please type game with TSA/package shipping vibes. However, there seem to be a lot of bugs in the scoring (or the rules are more complicated than I could understand from the tooltips) as some packages containing contraband were marked as incorrectly reported, and some other things as well. The interface also feels a bit clunky and the help window pops up over important places, there are multiple contraband lists, and there's no feedback from mistakes telling you what you messed up on. I think with these things addressed this would certainly live up to the hype!

Pizza Come: Deliverance by mira 2023-05-05T20:34:10Z

This is a fun little game! I'd definitely be interested in seeing some more of those pizza types that you mentioned be implemented, but working with a reduced team it's understandable that it didn't quite make it in in time. Some of the movement feels a bit imprecise, but fortunately there's no fall damage so that didn't really play much of an inconvenience! Good work!

DeliverZ by Plokie 2023-05-18T19:36:20Z

Wow! For 20 hours, this works pretty well. My only issue was it was hard to get into the truck and I had to figure out the controls myself. With a tutorial and some more time fixing some bugs this would be really fun! Also with some music :)

The King is Dead by Beep Boop 2023-05-07T19:07:02Z

Wow! I love this. The overall core gameplay feels good, but it's hard to see the description of what each card does since it's over in the other corner. Fullscreen mode would have been very helpful, but additionally I would make a mouseover tooltip for each icon. Also, once you pick up a card you can't put it down, so I was forced to make bad plays that ended up costing me on a few runs. Great stuff here though!

Chalkboard Deliveries by Locke8 2023-05-18T19:13:07Z

I think this game is neat! It definitely could use a lot of help on the player experience aspect though. It might be better to split up the intro tutorial to have it tell you little things as you do them (for example, highlight my new ships and tell me how they're different, or highlight the refill station and tell me how it works. Controls are also finicky as there were instances where selecting multiple trucks at once did nothing (some more feedback for us on what is selected by highlighting could be cool!). I also picked up the wrong resource once and could not unload it anywhere in time to keep progressing the game.

The music is okay, but it lacks a lot of polish and humanity. As a concept, this game has promise, but I think it needs a lot more work on the player experience to keep it fun and engaging without overloading the player with 200 concepts at once and hoping that they remember it!

Blind Delivery by DaivyIsHere 2023-05-07T19:17:06Z

This is great! I was certain this was a gag game from the onset but as soon as I started playing it all fell into place and I was able to make it through pretty easily! Headphones definitely helped.

Couriers' Route by Roroto Sic 2023-05-07T18:32:09Z

These kinds of games are always fun! This one has a bit of a resource starvation problem in the beginning, so I haven't been able to get very far at all. The dialogue is well mapped, there's lots of options, but there are also quite a few errors that distract the player from it. The presentation is phenomenal, I love the art and the music is picked well. I think the beginning needs to be more forgiving!

The Hollow Library by Snowdrama 2025-10-23T17:20:35Z

Wonderful entry! The atmosphere and lighting plus the audio really brings everything together. Would be interesting to add a different mechanic in each room, but that's always an option for beyond the jam. Well done!

Astrocracy by slay a stone 2025-10-23T16:28:23Z

This is a fun and satisfying game! There are some suggestions I would make: When doing resource management, it is often ideal to make the counters read Available/Total rather than Needed/Total. I echo the others in that there are some cool tile placement options, but there's a lot of room for additional features that use it. Other things: More tutorial on how buildings work - classify the different buildings in the build menu, for example! Music - I'm biased as a musician, but I always hope for some good music to set the mood. The title screen has a great vibe and some more music while playing would keep me engaged longer. UI is great! I really like how it registers what is ready/building, so keep developing this in that vein! Overall, it's fun, and I think there's some great ideas to build on.

Loaded Dice by Phoenix Fireflower 2025-10-23T16:35:26Z

I love a good deckbuilding game! Very straightforward, with some fun mechanics. Could play this for hours and try to build some good strategies!

Block Head Meat Mage by Paul Merkamp 2025-10-23T20:03:22Z

@wormkingboo - it sounds like you might need to try resizing your browser or entering fullscreen mode. I ran into this and panicked but it might just be the settings of the embed on here.

Stargazer by ProtoHere 2025-10-23T17:28:34Z

Very fun! Took me a second to understand exactly what to do or how to navigate the journal. A couple more tooltips on how to play and what the different benefits are of each color star might be helpful!
