This is a really cool concept. Cool aesthetics. The term "strife" rings a bell... In all seriousness I did love the design. Took me back to those stick figure cubes in elementary school. My only caveat, forgive me, neither wasd nor arrows moved my wizard so I just sort of tried to control the enemies by moving the cube to delete them lol
I really like where this is heading. The design concept of clicking together multiple toys combined with a twist underneath is compelling. I liked the sound effects and art style too, very 90's with a twinge of horror.
I did get stuck a couple times (had to refresh) because the Play button would not reappear, even though the little characters died.
Hey-hey! Web buid doesn't work unfortunately(
@drmurderizer @johnstarich thank you for playing the game!
@sergs-workshop this should be working now
Oh, this is cute.
...Oh.......
Oh no.....
Love the mix of horror and kids toys, however I couldn't figure out how to move the mage, so the runs never lasted very long. I eventually tried moving the blocks around to let him be punted around more but the game bugged out after that.
I'm using firefox if that helps. Tried arrow keys, wasd, and various mouse inputs; not sure if I'm dumb or there's a bug somewhere. (probably the former)
Awesome! I like that magnet toys screens. Really cool! But Yep I cant figure out for a long time how to move mage. And then realize hes cont move...
Unfortunately, I couldn't get the game to start. There were purple swirly things and an occasional buzzing sound, but I couldn't get a menu or anything to pop up even after waiting a few minutes and pressing every input I could think of. I will try again in a few!
good beginning in game engine, keep it
@wormkingboo - it sounds like you might need to try resizing your browser or entering fullscreen mode. I ran into this and panicked but it might just be the settings of the embed on here.

The concept is so cool and the polish for a Jam game is excellent.
Nice and simple, like it!
I'm having the same issue as @wormkingboo
soft locked myself multiple time, the mini-game doesn't end if the mage dies off-screen and the phone didn't ring for some reason after I received the second screen ...
Anyway awesome entry !! (and what a twist when you look into things)

Played the game in fullscreen mode in Firefox but couldn't move my wizard and had to hope for the best. I like the basic concept and the fact it's a game in the game. The phone is a nice touch. I could see some nice features coming out of that. A great starting point to improve upon. :v:

Super innovative idea. Though the web build's aspect ratio does not really fit the LD player and I couldn't really figure out how to control the mage, I still can see that this is a well thought out and packaged game. Good job. Wish there can be a guide to controls.
