Such a nice, zen game π¦β€οΈ
Awesome work! The title made me laugh, I love the art/atmosphere, and I really like your interpretation of the theme
Awesome game! The use of lighting is excellent, the music fits perfectly, and the art is great. I like that the flashlight can also be used to chase away corrupted ghosts. Great work!!
I really love the graphics for this game! Really unique, while also feeling nostalgic. And it's beyond impressive that you made the game engine for the jam too. The controls were a challenge for me, but it was rewarding once I got the hang of it. Great game!
This game was so cool! I was really surprised at how many features you were able to include - especially on the decorating side of things. And the art was adorable. Great work!!
Awesome compo game! Reminds me of a mario party mini game π
It's wild that this was made in 72 hours! There's so much depth- with the sandstorm, resources, moving base, enemies, upgrades, etc.. It felt like the beginning of a big game that I'd play for hours. Really great job!!
That was fun! I like the art style π I did manage to throw myself out of bounds at one point using a puddle, but no issues after restarting π
Gorgeous and hilarious! I haven't been able to find the first gnome quite yet (I'll keep looking) but I HAVE been able to enjoy the atmosphere and the occasional gnome kick π Great work!!
Hilarious and amazing audio π! Thank you for making this game
Very cute game! I love the sprites and the music. Stage 3 was really challenging (in a good way) and I was pretty happy when I was able to collect everything. Great work!
Loved it! It was really fun to see what kinds of creatures were included. Mothman was probably my favorite, but they're all great. It felt like I had just the right amount of film for the loop. And the commentary made me laugh π
Soooo addicting! I played this game longer than any other LD game so far. Great graphics and music too!
I loved this! The duck noises are amazing, the art is very charming, and I had a lot of fun collecting all the different ducks. The fact that they are stored in your coat is hilarious π
Unfortunately, I couldn't get the game to start. There were purple swirly things and an occasional buzzing sound, but I couldn't get a menu or anything to pop up even after waiting a few minutes and pressing every input I could think of. I will try again in a few!
LOL depressing and hilarious. I'm going to keep trying for that age 60 retirement π₯²
I feel like this might be my favorite game so far! The art is so good - very cute, unique, readable, and there's a ton of variety between the frogs. It gave me Cult of the Lamb vibes in the best way possible. I also loved the pacing and the difficulty scaling. Just enough time to get used to moving around and gather a couple upgrades before things really start to heat up. I replayed several times just to see what other frog types I could find. Really enjoyable game, great work!!
This was so relaxing π Lovely art style and music choice
I love the spooky theme! And the balance of moving around the cemetery/shoveling/avoiding the graveyard keepers was nice - just the right amount of stuff to keep track of for me. Overall, I really enjoyed it πͺ¦π
Such a great fall vibe π₯ The art is gorgeous!
Lots of potential for this game! The story is compelling, the art is great, and I like the turn-based concept π It also made me feel afraid of squirrels for the first time, which is some kind of accomplishment lol
Great execution of a very interesting concept!
Very cool game! It was fun to have the option to bargain, and the limited inventory size was a nice challenge
I like the concept a lot! It took me a minute to figure out if my upgrades were working, but from there it was pretty smooth sailing and I had fun balancing the rock/food bars using the upgrades
I enjoyed this game! The gameplay loop was satisfying - always fun when there are 2 conflicting resources to balance. The controls were really easy to pick up, and the difficulty scaling from level to level was great. I also appreciated that you created your own assets - definitely adds a lot of charm!
This game gave me goosebumps! The art style, the audio, and the stories were all very well done. Beautiful work!
@kkritikov I wish I could have made the embedding work on the LD site π’ Maybe next time!
@ry0 it's kind of hilarious π although i really started to regret the music choice after the first few hours of hearing it π
@haka thank you for playing and for the helpful feedback! great points - i think doing both of those things would have really improved the overall polish
@wouter52 thank you so much! I really appreciate the detailed feedback!
@tamino-laub hahaha yes, the song is "Labubu Reggaeton" by SXLLX on Spotify! And thank you, my dog has been happy as a clam since he destroyed the Labubu - said he'd do it again if he could π
@konbuscus my apologies to your ears π a mute button would have been smart to add π
@justuspan thank you for playing! The UI was definitely not the greatest - I wish I could have made it easier for the player to see what was happening without losing focus. The labubus just give extra points, with the more rare ones yielding more points. But it all kind of looks the same so it's hard to see in game π. And you're definitely right on the arrows not matching up - I think I will fix that after the jam is over. Thanks again!
@blue-pin-studio haha that's an honor, thank you for playing!
@sharky3188 thank you, and great idea!
@vasilisa-isaeva thanks a lot! I made it all myself, except the song. And I totally agree with you on the UI - I had planned to polish a lot of that on Monday but ended up breaking the whole game several times instead π
@bumble thank you for playing! and sorry for the errors with the timing - I definitely still have a lot to learn with rhythm games π
@web-gnar haha yes the song has been on loop in my head since I found it on Friday... still can't tell if I love it or hate it π. and thanks for the feedback!
@tommeh blursed is the highest compliment I could hope to receive - thank you so much!π and thanks for the feedback!
@artificer thank you!! you got a great score π₯
Loved it! It's amazing that you made this environment in such a short amount of time - it looks great! And it was fun accidentally putting in the wrong items and seeing them get yeeted back out π
Simple, but so effective! I love that the player has control over when the yellow acorns drop, rather than just waiting for them to fall. It adds a strategic element to the game that takes it up a level. And the art is adorable!
Very cool format! I liked all 3 of the mini games, and how there was a story tying it all together
Love the graphics for this game! I got a little motion sick with the quick turns, but it was still easy to navigate. I like the way the game forces you to balance exploring for resources and staying home to feed the mother mole - adds a nice amount of tension.
I loved the collection feature! And the music was awesome - really added to the overall atmosphere. I lost track of how many times I replayed it
I can't believe how much you were able to accomplish with this game! Even without accounting for the multiplayer option, it is really incredible. I'll have to make someone play with me just to appreciate the full experience of the game. You are truly a wizard for getting all of this done. And the sprites are so cute! Well done π
Such an interesting way to combine the theme with a platformer! The signal tuning mechanic was a really nice touch- probably my favorite part of the game. Something about it just felt very satisfying. And the art style was great. I loved the main character sprite, the color choices, and the environment. Overall, it was nice relaxing experience. You definitely nailed the 90s game vibe! Fun and pleasantly challenging
Great arcade game! The controls felt smooth, sounds were nice, and I like the style. The CRT shader is a nice touch for the nostalgic vibes.
Even if the game isn't complete, it's still amazing that this was accomplished in such a short period of time! The atmosphere is excellent and I love the art style. The sound effects are also very nice. The mechanic you went with is really unique and I appreciated that a tutorial was built in to help me understand it. I haven't had a chance to check out the post-jam version, but I'm sure it's incredible because this is such a solid start to a unique and engaging game.
Very relaxing and satisfying to play! The graphics work well and I enjoyed the music. The gameplay was simple but fun and I was able to make it to the end of the game. Nice work! Screenshot 2026-04-25 214819.png
Really clever take on the theme! I love the main character :) The variety of mechanics you were able to include is really impressive and everything worked well together. Over all a great game!
Oh my goodness what a gorgeous game! The art, the lighting, and the calm ambiance were so lovely. And the sound of the hole punch is soooo satisfying. Definitely reminded me of Papers Please in the best way. I would play a longer version of this game just to see more of the art. Great work!!
I love the whole vibe of this game! The art style, color palette, and sound design are all wonderful and nostalgic. I did somehow break the game after a while, but it was a fun experience overall Screenshot 2026-04-25 215751.png
Very cool take on the theme! I like how you managed the difficulty curve - it's challenging but rewarding when there are a bunch of planes to keep track of.
Very cute game! I was able to finish after a couple of tries - worth it to see the final pun haha. I loved the art and the music (and of course the puns). The pacing was good and I was able to understand the signals pretty quickly. Nice work!!
I love tower defense games - had a lot of fun with this one! It was simple, but with nice difficulty/reward scaling. I could definitely sink a lot of time into this :) And the need to move around to keep the signal was a nice way to keep it interesting and incorporate the theme. I had one part where I got stuck running up, but that resolved before I died. Great game!Screenshot 2026-04-24 171430.png
Loved this game! I'm amazed that this was done for a jam. The art is great, the sounds work well, controls are smooth, and the gameplay is really fun. Just the right combination of strategy + RNG for a rougelite = super addicting. I will definitely be playing this one again in the future to see if I can make it to the very end.
Love the vibes on this one! Great art style and the music fits really well. I was initially worried that it would be complicated to learn due to the volume of instructions to read through, but it was actually very intuitive and easy to pick up. Great work!
Fun take on a platformer! Great way to incorporate the theme and I enjoyed the simple, but well-executed art. The high score was a nice touch - that definitely motivated me to play through several times. Nice work!
It is amazing that you made math so fun! I made it to the end of the game and wished there were more levels because it was so enjoyable. The art is gorgeous and the music works well with the rest of the design. Great work!
So impressive that this was done for a jam! It works really well with the theme and it's completely different from any of the other games I've played so far. It took me a couple of tries to understand how to balance the deck building and the territory expansion, but once I got a hang of it I found it very addictive. I'm sure I'll come back to this game a few more times just to see how far I can make it. Screenshot 2026-04-22 163451.png
Great game choice for the theme! I had a lot of fun playing this one - everything was very smooth and the rules were intuitive. Thanks for the nostalgia :)
Loooove the atmosphere of this one! It has a spooky cuteness that reminded me of Limbo in the best way. And the gameplay is really unique- I've never seen a mechanic quite like the radio dial. Great job!!
Love the cute art and music! Very relaxing to play :)
It is amazing that you were able to add so many mechanics/features in a cohesive way in such a short amount of time - and in a way that works well with the theme! Everything layers together really nicely and the difficulty curve is great. It felt easy to learn, but difficult to master, so I ended up playing much longer than I meant to! And I appreciate the dark background/negative space - that was so nice to give my eyes a break. I haven't been able to beat this level yet, but I'm going to keep trying. Overall a great game π₯ unnamed.png
This was such a nice game! Love the creative take on the theme, the adorable art, and the music. It had such a nice vibe, I hardly even noticed how often I was dying haha. The frequent save points were a great call - it made each section feel like a mini puzzle to solve.
