Very cool! Liked the graphics. Gameplay did get a bit boring for me however (maybe that's just me)
I Liked the historical aspect of the game. The graphics were really nice, the generation of the enemy troop positions, the defenders, and the fort. Interesting gameplay mechanic. I did feel though that it did get a big mechanical and was a bit too based on luck. Is it possible to win this? :/
Capture.PNG
@p7153 @raptor851 Thanks for the reviews! Yeah the game does get a bit laggy at the start of each wave. It's a bug :/
@jivvy Good idea. We were thinking of making them based on both (giving waves a time limit). The game is already pretty hard as it is though! haha
Funny game! I loved the artstyle and the mood. Also it was super seamless the learning period for the game :)
Very cool game with a great concept. My only gripe was the moving camera was kinda annoying with the mouse controls. A way to spawn new tracks using arrow keys would have been cool.
I am so confused lol. How do you use the weapons to kill the damn spider!!!
I actually really like the vibe. And the use of videos. Old school vibe. I however am super confused. How am I supposed to get godly gold? It seems I can't build buildings because I can't get anything. All I can do each month is click on two Gods and play their videos. There also seem to be a couple of UI bugs.
Yeah seems a bit fun. Don't know if the game play is exactly my cup of tea either. Background music seemed to be overlapping?
This took you 9 people to make? I love it. Was funny
Nice theming! I really liked how you made a bullet hell game with the enemies inspired by chess pieces (and how they move). For some reason the game only starts when you press 'z'. Clicking on the 'Play' button doesn't start the game either. I also got the idea of 'playing chess with death'. Nice Game!
I really liked the audio, graphics (was really interesting), and mood. Sadly I couldn't figure out how to actually go about finding the transmitters. Some more instructions needed?
I had fun playing this. Reminds me a bit of Dear Esther, where you just walk around a landscape and you are immersed in the world. Could have done with some more story in the game though. Was a bit laggy. The monster sound scared the sh*t out of me! haha
Didn't work for me :/ It's just a white screen
@taran95 Oh wow I didn't. After I installed that it worked. The game was interesting I see what you were going for (swords and sandals). I found the game kinda hard though. The opponents have a ton of health.
Pong but around a circle (which is the earth)! Simple yet great concept! Art and sounds were good.
Maybe I didn't get the game. Why actual house is so small, there is only one clock. I didn't get how to increase the time.
Total banger. Was laughing my laugh off. No gameplay, but is super fun. loved it. Im a justin beebee fan now
ONE COMMENT THOUGH. Is that I think I noticed the kareoke getting out of sync
I AM RATING THIS GAME 1 STAR. 0 GAMEPLAY!!!
@voidmist Awesome, glad you like it! We actually went into a forest at night to get inspiration for the music and to get sound effects.
@kr4ft3r Hi! We're getting a lot of feedback about the Lily's mom part being hard to understand. It's true, it's a bit unclear. So how it works is you have to talk to Lily. And then walk around a bit until you see Lily's mom (she looks like a ghostly medusa in a white dress). Once you've seen her, she will follow you. So just walk back to Lily without dying and talk to her to reunite her with her mother! Hope this helps :)
Thanks for the comment @hexyvexy! To add on to @winter2277 's comment. We received feedback that the movement felt janky/slow so you're not a alone. The monsters go to random hiding spots every 10 seconds, but they aren't able to kill you while traveling between hiding spots
Not my type of game. But damn those graphics and that mood is top notch. Good fucking job sir
Nice first game. I feel like you thought of a good idea here. There is something uneasy about a heart beat going off in your ears. And it's something my team and I used for our LD51 game. Don't be too hard on yourself. It's a jam. And you were working alone so you're not going to be able to implement all the things you want to do. The heart and paper models were nice. I felt like the floor was too bright though. And an actual monster chasing you would have been scarier. Also the maze gets a bit monotonous after a while. Cheers
This game is gorgeous. Very fun. Nice music.
My PC is too weak for this. Damn Unreal Engine!!!
Nice looking game. Wish there was more to it though!
@martta Thanks for the detailed comment! Your thoughts are very interesting and yeah we struggled balancing things like weapon cost. It's hard to make and balance a game in 72h as I'm sure you know :) Also the scroll wheel zooms in and out btw! Forgot to put that on the instructions image.
@random-storykeeper Thanks for the detailed feedback. The reason the crow sound gets really loud is that a TON of enemies spawn... Maybe we should have capped it. We'll keep your feedback in mind for next jam regarding dialogue skipping and UI. Weapon replacement is also a good suggestion. The rebalanced version seems to work for me... Not sure how to help you debug sry :/ Glad you had fun playing
@antoniothereis Thanks for the comment! You can actually zoom out with the scroll-wheel. We forgot to put that in the instructions :/
Cool game. I liked the graphics and how there are a lot of things going on in the screen. Reminds me of an old school arcade game. Wasn't a huge fan of the music though
Wait... Wait. So why was the beaver wife seen with scott then? So many unanswered questions... Adorable game. Kudos to the person who did the art! Was a fun play. I like the idea of walking around the neighborhood accussing people of having affairs in search of berries
This game is funny. Wish there was more to it. Also didn't seem that challenging. Is this how jeffery dahmer felt?
Nice simple game. Graphics and music are great
I liked the atmosphere and the graphics. I wish I would have been able to find the Eldritch horrors. The deer would all get stuck on the edge of the map. You're meant to drive them towards the collection gate right? It would be simpler if you could just walk up to them and collect them.
Im stuck at the 'Find a safe space' bit.... Ughhh seems impossible. Also there is no indication where to go.Nice atmosphere though
Charming game. I liked the voice acting. The graphics feel surrealistic. I found the game a bit challenging however and didn't complete it...
I wake up. Drink strange juice. Stare at dead bush for ten hours. Go back to sleep. Repeat. Life is good.
This game was kind of weird. And the story is a bit unclear. That being said it was fun. And the atmosphere was heavy. The music was fucking epic. It slapped. I hope to be able to make something as nice music wise next jam
Cute game! Thoroughly enjoyed playing it. My only comments are that I wish there was more scenic art of the different locations and maybe the text could have been shorter.
Screenshot from 2023-05-01 12-42-00.png
Great Game! Very interesting. Is there an end screen? I think i've set Prometheus free?
Bro the sound design on this game is FUCKING AMAZING
Interesting game. But confused by the story though
Fun game! It was hard. I love card games though. Managed to beat it
Fun game! Cute art. Really liked the music. Jesus Mary killed so many people on her way to delivering jesus
As others have said this was a very well polished game so good job! Seems to me to be a stripped-down take on 'Papers Please' gameplay. Take everything I say with a grain of salt. I am personally not a huge fan of real time games. They stress me out too much. I felt like the letters arrived way too fast. I personally also am not a fan of the gameplay. I found it a bit monotonous. What kept me hooked when playing 'Papers Please' was the story, roleplaying, keeping your family fed and clothed between days, etc... But I realize this is a game jam entry!
Absolutely loved this game. I thought it was genius. Though As said previously I wish the text was a bit more clear on the destination's place through subtle cues. For example like how the first letter was very clear that the recipient was into music/had a big music collection. Also found a little glitch where the tube connecting to the bottom right room wouldn't turn.
Art was cute!
Pretty cute game, very well polished. Liked how there was progression though the upgrades. Loved the art style. Managed to glitch off the map using the shelleport haha.
f55e9354-721b-49a7-9141-a23444410ba5.png
This was fun! I almost didn't play much of it. But the more I played and the more rage I endured. The more I wanted to finish the game so that all my rage would mean something.
Super cute!!!
I really like the authentic retro style of the games art and also the fly mechanic and story. However I felt it was not communicated that people ahve to get the staff before they can shoot. I went left immediately and was confused. Also my dino kept randomly dying?? And i felt it was annoying when it died, I would have to walk back to a summoner and respawn it.
Great job for 12 hours of development lol. Played your game on stream. Magical Michael is the stuff of nightmares lmao! with his huge gaping eyes. I love the creepy music playing in the background too. Voice acting was great. I felt immersed in the world. I felt like I was truly magical michaels' assistant. I was able to finish the puzzle even though the frog ate my gold bar. not sure if this is a bug or not.
Fun game! The art was very nice. Wasn't a huge fan of the music though. And the game was a bit easy for my tastes! Great job though!
I loved this game! Great job! I see this being a game I would spend a lot of time playing. Art was great too. Not sure if this fits the "summoning" theme though, it felt more like converting people to your team
That art is TERRIFYING. Such creepy gives. In a good way.
Was quite fun. "Summoning" an airstrike is funny. Runs where you're speeding by and shotting the canons while drifting are super satisfying
Very fun game. One of the funnest LDjam entries i've played. Only criticism was it felt a bit hard. Great job
Hi everyone! Will respond to comments is a bit! If the chalices aren't appearing it's because my level generation code is kinda flawed. Just replay the game ('s' will skip a level if you want)
@alanbrook Sorry that happened. I haven't seen this, but on my (super crappy cheap android phone) it doesn't run super well in the browser either. The Music glitches.
@altaf-creator Thanks for the comment. I think if I had more time I would have developed more of a back and forth dialogue scene where Cedric Leopold talks with his cult members to convey the story. Will try to do this next jam!
Yep didn't really have time to develop a tutorial :/ Which is why I recorded a playthough as a bandaid solution!
@sirjupitron Thanks for the comment and kind words :)
@tata glad I succeded in designing a puzzle! :) Thanks
@owtuvammo yep sorry about that! My level generation code is kinda bad. So for each level there is a different % chance that each cell will be for a particular type. But it may be that none spawn for the blood chalice for example.
Also I think there are multiple solutions yes!
@rob6566 sorry about the jump scare lol!
@ben-albert the level generation code is kind of bad! Maybe try playing the game again? YOu can skip levels with the 's' key ;)
@captainspacecat Wow. I've never encountered that bug. Do you remember what you did to produce it? Thanks for the kind words
@wuppos Damn yeah your game loops pretty similar haha!! Will defo check it out. Great minds think alike
I really liked the concept of this game. EXCELLENT interpretation of the theme. The game feels a bit repetitive after a while though. Very polished though. great music
Nice game! Saw your blog post. Good job on getting it done. It seems polishsed and bug free. The visual style is nice. And the game (due to the nice tutorial) is easy to grasp.
Games pretty fun! Not sure how I feel about the randomness caused by the multipliers. It's kind of funny watching the AI suffer after going -negative due to a modifier.
@congeesetador How did you do it in 1 minute wtf? nice
Very funny take on the theme! The music was also amazing!
This game was a vibe! I love the concept of being a twitch streamer and doing what you can to get ppl watching and donations. Art was amazing, animation was amazing. Everything was so cute. Fuck I think I'll try making a cute game next jam. Noticed there was only 1 programmer on your team. Poor guy hahaha
I LOVED the art great job. The dialogue was also well written. And there was definetly a strong mood to the game. The characters felt very believable. I liked the concept of the game aswell. My only comments are that I wish the music was more varied (it felt a bit repetive as people will naturally be sitting a while to read the dialogue.
I tried to play this game! But not sure I played it right. How do I spawn mobs? How do I create a golem?
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVEEEEE the comcept for this game. Fucking amazing. Nice job!!!!! A great idea that was well executed
Nice job! Big up for using your own custom game engine! My only complains are I wish there was some sound design (music, sound effects). And I think the movement code is buggy. Sometimes i'm not able to move in a certain direction.
asdf.PNG
Amaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing game. I legit spent so much time playing it. So fun. I could see myself playing this for many hours.Art is nice. THe pieces are interesting. Team grasshopper all the way.
Great job guys! Very impressed with what you guys have made.
I really like the title screen, the camera movement, music, and the design and coloring of the scene. The animation of the flys is also nice. Creating your own web, watching bugs fly into it, and the occasional rock tear a whole into it is also satisfying and visually interesting.
I feel like it is confusing that when silking up a captured bug you need to be next to it, but then you can move on and still eat it. I also feel like the a simple "bugs eaten" counter on the screen would have been a nice additional. I also wish the spider was animated. I understand that time is the great limiting factor for jams though.
asdfff.png
I had fun with this game! I liked the writing it was funny. I like text-adventure games on a black background. I also liked how the music and sound effects added to my imagination. I feel like there was some potential for some small visuals? Maybe a little minimap showing the player where they were on the tower would? Or art for the different rooms? The end screen with stats was a nice touch!
The game looks really really good! The animation and camera movement when you complete a level is also awesome. Nice job!
The funnies LDjam game I've ever played. The game itself was a bit easy. But it was complete! The intro and outro voice acting and slides were so fucking funny holy shit. Wish I could rate it a 6/5 for humour
Nice simple but well polished game! Was fun
Damnn the music is funkyyyyy. Artwork is super cute, the design of the creatures and the background aquariums are amazing. I particularly like the halloween level. Game does feel like being in an aquarium. I also like how the other creatures do not damage the player, just jostle them around. Which makes the game nice and chill. I do wish there was a bit more complexity to the game than simply swimming around collecting algea.
Reminds me of "Age of War"! A classic game. The art is so cute especially the designs and animations for all the types of bugs. But yes, it isn't well balanced. I feel like the enemy is too weak, they dont upgrade fast enough. Also, the fact that I can just upgrade my cheaper ants gives me less incentive to buy the expensive ones? I'm not sure what the solution to this though as I do like that I can upgrade my units!
Nice and simple game! Beginning is hard af, but it's fun once you get more upgrades and you can do some real damage
The graphics look really cool. I love the mood of the game. How the world is very dimly lit. The backdrops look amazing. Besides that, I feel like the art for the monsters could have been improved. And It's weird how the dark lighting of the world doesn't seem to affect them. Imaginative story concept.
Great concept! Graphics are sick. My only complaint is I wish there was mouse support for aiming and for the keyboard aiming, that the speed was constant.
The hand drawn art style is awesome! I liked how you did high quality scans of them. Also, I feel like the fact that you control many fleas at once with the same controls annoying at first but it grew on me. It's quite innovative. Fun game.
Yoooooo! This isn't a 1st or 3rd person game. It's a 2nd person game! You are looking through the eyes of the exterminator as you play the bug! Super interesting! was fun! Loved the jump sound
Crazy concept! Not that much depth to the game, but what is there is very polished. The models, controls, and animations are very nice. Would DEFINETLY buy and play a full version of a game like this. Fallout Shelter but better.
Bro what is this game. Why does the animation look so good. I couldn't figure out how to get the final horsehose :/
Simple but good game. I also sat there like an idiot for a while. Didn't realize you needed to click the spwners to spawn fish. Otherwise the game is a bit grindy. I feel like the reason 2048 works so well is that you can combine multiple things at once. If you could do this in this game somehow? it would be a lot funner
Cute game! I loved the narration and wholesome underlying message.
aaaa.PNG
I beat the game! Addictive gameplay. I only wish there was some music :) Nice job. I liked the explosion sound
Nice relaxing game. Aquarium sims are so fun. I made an aquarium game too but didn't have time to make it realistic with pH and salinity level management. Good job! I played this for longer than I am willing to admit!
I loved this game. I loved the quake and unreal tournament vibes. The weapons were cool, the gun sounds were cool, and the music was amazing. Great job. You've totally inspired me to try and make an FPS game for my next jam!! I feel like the aesthetic you went with didn't take too much 3D modelling skill (which I have very little of), so i could probably pull off something similar. Kudos.
The graphics and mood are SOOOOOO fucking good. Holy shit
Super beautiful and mesmerizing visuals. Definitely pushing what can be run on web haha. My only complains are that I wish there was music and I don't like how the asteroids are black. It makes them super hard to spot.
Fun and chill game! My only complaint was there is no indication of when you deselect a bug for movement
Good game
@unloosed Thank you for the honest feedback. There was a lot more "simulation" I envisioned adding but ran out of time. My original vision included managing water temperature, pH, etc... and being able to buy and upgrade different components of the tank like the heater, filter, etc...
Losing fish was what I was about to add before I ran out of time :/
I think theres a lot of room for expansion for the game and I like the concept. So I plan to add to it in the future just for the fun of it with new plants/creatures, better and more varied artwork, and more complicated aquarium simulation!
@impiaaa. Holy crap. Thank you for the comment. I really like those ideas. I will try and add them. I had not thought of adding creature synergy though I did plan to vary the appearance of the bodies. I will try and add that. I plan to extend this game in the coming weeks for fun.
Adding a plot is also an awesome idea. I had not considered that lol. I have played Papers Please and enjoyed the progressive story.
@emmagsmith Thanks for the comment, contracts coming faster and eventually getting penalized for not taking them is a good idea!
@sdcorpse I didn't have time to implement items unfortunately!!! :'(
@candlesan Thanks for the comment! Yeah you need to buy A LOT of plants in order to be able to put more than one body in the tank at once! Also depends on the weight of the person. The weight can range from 120lbs to 250lbs!
@druven Thank you so much!
Cute game concept! The phone on the side was super cool. Only thing Is I'm wondering if theres a win condition.
I really like the 'chimera' creature generation. The creatures look very cool! Wasn't able to really play the game . Sometimes after I play a card, the opponent does nothing? And the game is stuck?
Interesting take on 'tiny creatures' -> Tabletop!
This is one twisted game lmaoo. I love the “voice acting”. It was kinda stressful to complet NGL, give the fact that the grown heirs try and kill you too.
Visuals and music are amazinngggggg. It was surprisingly stimulating watching the cool model for the temple develop. i wish there was more to the game though like buying upgrades!
Art was sooooo cute. Wish there was audio though
Great art and animations!!
Very relaxing game. Graphics look good! The POV camera movement was nice. Bugs didn't spawn for me though? Maybe I didn't play long enough
the game scene is actually very nice!! Makes me wonder though, I feel like other parts of the game could have been more polished. I feel like animating the ant would have been a nice touch, and his side to side movement is jagged. Big ups on using a custom game engine though!!
12345.PNG
Interesting concept! I managed to beat the game (barely) using a chickens (they kinda suck) then switching to cows ASAP, with two extra slots.
I actually really liked this game! NGL It took me a second to realize you actually LOST points for stomping on people. I was having fun stomping on them. THe animation and stomp sound are soooooooo good. Interesting political commentary!
Simple concept, but it is pretty fun! The level completed screen is sooooooooo f*cking cute.
Bro what is this game. Are you ok? Lowkey funny
Simple and polished game! Only thing I don't like is the fact that I'm SO focused typing, reading the numbers I don't ever really look at the race. Not sure what the solution is though
Nice game! Really cool experimental interactive fiction. And a very funny take on the theme though. My ONLY comment besides that i've seen your YouTube channel and know you are an extremely talented guitarist. I wish the music you composed was a bit less repetitive as the looping gets a bit tiring.
There were some glitches, and I didn't like how there was a troop limit (the troop window had no scrollbar), but I liked this game!!!! Was super satisfying watching the battles play out
This game is so LOLRANDOM. Plays like a fever dream. GAMEEEEE OVEERRRRRRRRR. I wish you could aim using the mouse
Nice game! I like the idea as playing as something super small in a world where verythin looks big!
First of all, congrats on your first LDjam entry! The game is a bit basic but it's complete. The background image and music is very nice. However, if you did not create the art or music you must opt out of these sections for the ratings. I found the background image here on Reddit from a year ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/wallpaper/comments/16e2q3j/enchanting_overgrowth_a_pixel_dream_5120x2880/
I love that you can play this one handed. The art is so seductive.asdf.PNG
Was a bit hard but was fun!! I'm not sure I undertand the upgrades though. It seems when I get an upgrade I get all of them? Why is it right click to select instead of LMS?
Cute minimalist game! Bug controls were a bit janky though. the bug should have it's speed limited too i thinK!
Bro what is this "Game". I mean it was funny as hell. Those images were works of art. No gameplay though lmfao.diddy.PNG
For some reason i first read the game name as trailside misogynist
Graphics are really good. The vibe and mood is great. The post processing added a lot. Wasn't able to find the 5th piece
I got the same error. RIP
What you have is clean and polished. The UI is very functional, intuitive, and looks nice. I feel like there is a lot of potential. The three different artifact attributes is interesting. I feel like with a more complicated request system and one that gave some sort of indication of what requests will come in, so that the player has to pre-stock items for future requests, strategize, the game could be quite interesting. Good luck expanding on it!
Some music and additional visuals (art for the vendors?) would add a lot too.
The runa nimation has be dead. Good music. Voice lines add a lot. You did not make the player model did you though?
@cheeks Wow nice job on the model! Shes really cute. Model for the mushroom king is also funny.
Is the run animation intentionally bad lol?
@cheeks hahahahah. I'm glad you left it in. The run animation is so funny. I LOLed
The visuals are really really nice. I love the feel of the virtual computer. Unfortunately i'm personally not really into visual novel esque games. Wish there was more gameplay lol.
Fun simple game. Directing crows by coordinating demon spawns is an interesting concept.
Liked the art. Im a bit confusesd about the final score though. So there are placed you can't advance to without ditching ore, but then my score is down. Is there a win condition?
The art is great. The perspective is a bit weird though
@santen. Like the world appears to be from the top-down perspective ie. Camera looking straight down. But the characters are drawn as if from a side view (camera looking at them from the side). So it jsut feels a bit wonky
I like this game! Always wanted to be a raccoon rummaging for trash. Those dogs are straight out of CoD zombies. Scary. Love it. Love the glowing eyes on the player raccoon too. Sounds effects were nice. And I love the 3d main menu.
Heres a tip from a fellow Godot dev: use UI anchors. The main menu doesn't move correctly when the window is resized.
I liked the game design of bushes to hide in and holes to run through the escape the dogs. The dogs are a bit too fast though for my liking.
Also really liked the animations. Procedural animation?
@kelldaw @jhonny111 the art is AI lmfao
Really liked the post processing. I thought it was actually isometric 2d for a sec. Gives me inspo. The look of the projectiles is really cool. A lot of models, cool world to explore. You clearly had a lot of fun making these models. The music is also super good. You made it? It isn't AI slop I hope? The upgrades as a game mechanic was fun. Wish the enemies had animations, right now the world kinda feels like a skating rink with everyone sliding around. Overall great job
Hell yeah. Great game. Polished. Good cutsenes. Fun and simple gameplay. Funny story and twist. A pixelart platformer done well. Good job
@penumbrah hahahaha. This game is evil person simulator for real
@nnnnneeeedddd Yeah i'll try and get a true fullscreen windows build out! And yeah probably should have added logic to prevent digging the next grave over lol. Anyways not a game breaking bug :)
@slaqr Thanks! What does safespot mean?
@sylviachord Thanks for the feedback! The groundskeepers to hum so theoretically the player can hear them approach, but the radius may be too small.
@slaqr Ah lol. Yeah I didn't have time to implement actual pathing. So yeah, it gets a bit silly.
I loved this. I love the concept. PSX artstyle with postprocessing was great. Gives me inspo. I liked jumping up on top of stuff like the bed. Its a bit hard and takes practice though. I didn't like how E is the button to drop rats though, should be LMS.
Also bro's house is infested with rats wtf. They're so cute though.
Game felt a bit too hard, I got up to score 7 but then the human wakes up.
Also, I didn't like how you can clip into the cats arms when u look down.
The are is very good. Especially the close ups on the apples.
The gameplay gets a bit boring for me though. The emphasis on simply collecting things gets boring.
Bruh. So I like the game concept. Very good take on the theme. Getting some balatro vibes. The devil models were also great. But have some complaints:
- The post processing is cool but makes it impossible to read the board - When you roll, the camera doesn't switch to the spinner - The drinks didn't seem to work for me? The guy just lunges at me and the game ends? wtf
The environment with the grass (gives me inspo for my next jam) and particle effects are really cool. The models are also very good. The minigames worked well and were fun. Good concept for a game.
The concept of the game feels a bit generic however. And im not a huge fan of the writing, it feels a bit awkward but I understand if English is not your first language guys. Well done overall
Ok so the models are really cool for the trinkets you get. The lighting is nice, I really feel like im a wasteland. Not a fan of the 2D sprite customers though. And the gameplay doesn't really change, it gets repetive. Also the clipping of the held objects with the environment feels weird. And the adherance to the theme feels a bit random. We get trinkets as a reward and "collect" them, but this isn't really part of the gameplay loop.
Very cool concept and well executed. The actual cutting and pasting of letters mechanics looks very clean and works perfect. Not sure how I feel about basically rips of actual game covers in the game though.
Ok so funny game. A lot of the art is really funny and good. The random NPCs in particular in the background and the first enemy. My only comment is maybe work on color selection a bit? for example some of the greens on the foliage are super high saturation so are a bit jarring.
Some basic sound effects would have been nice. jsfxr.com is a good site to generate them quick.
The wait time at the beginning of the game is super long and confused me. And also, everytime you die you need to sit through all of that again? Bruh moment.
Maybe a tutorial or a gameplay demo would be nice, not sure how to beat the first boss. Im bad at platformers
I really liked the concept of the game. Fun gameplay and good interpretation of the theme. The adventurer is a bit too fast though :/ Good visual style though. The skeleton walk sounds were good. Was cool to have a first person view where I could see my skeletal body.
Bruh the song. Well polished. The visuals of caollecting the labubus is cool. The arrows doesn't really go with the song though. And im not sure how the connection between doing the arrows and collecting labubus of varying raritys works.
The sound design is great. Very spooky. Overall spooky vibe. Im not a fan of the input delay though or maybe this is an issue with my machine or the web build. Also the vibe is quite spooky but there are random nonsensical/comedic elements like the giant floating cookies and the random picture of a goofy baby on the wall? Kind of clashes for me.

Is this playable right now? Couldn't find a .exe in the folder
Sound design, general vibe and visuals are great. Unfortunately, I only have GTX 1060 so the game ran at around 20FPS. I feel like going for a simple Slender the 8 Pages formula was a good idea for the jam. The statue didnèt really feel scary to me though, Im not sure if its bugged but the statue never stopped moving, it would continuously slide and follow me. Some sound or visual effects when looking at the statue would have added a lot I feel.
