Wow, that was a great experience. I'm enjoyed every bit of it. Game is simple, addictive and has a story! Great job!

Wow, that was a great experience. I'm enjoyed every bit of it. Game is simple, addictive and has a story! Great job!
The concept is interesting, it's not clear what cutting the plant does, so maybe a simple tutorial screen could help such slow people like me. But overall it's a cool looking and unique puzzle, so I enjoyed it. Great game!
Wow, that's a hard one. I like the concept, but the controls are not that great, so on late stages, it's really hard to maintain these zigzag movements. But overall the game is great and the idea is nice. Good job!
The game mechanic is interesting, but it lacks clearness, it's hard to understand what's happening and who do I shooting now. Some visual clues would help. Also, it would be great if the player can control the orbit somehow. But other than that it's a great game and I enjoyed playing it.
Pros: Really cool idea, great writing, it's fun to watch the inhabitants. Cons: not that much of a challenge, sounds are a little bit loud, local goals are not clear. Overall the concept is great, it's like Sims and Ftl in one.
Well, it's a bad day to be a sphere, too many dangers around here! Simple and addictive game, I like it!
That's one is my favourite for the time being. I really like the graphics and music. But the theme and gameplay is just blew my mind, it's so cool, interesting and unique! This game has a potential to grow into something beautiful. Now it's too easy to play, maybe you should balance it a little, add more levels - tile layouts and so on. But still it's a great game!
Great game, I like how it's a mix of quick events and a puzzle. It's not that obvious how to restart the level, I think you need to add an icon or something to do it. I was exiting the game and running it again the first couple of times before I read the description. I had a great time playing it. Nicely done.
I like it. Best parts are: physics and graphics.
Cute little game. I always thought radios are evil.
The very polished game, it's fun to play. Graphics and music are cool as always. Looking forward to seeing the postmortem.
Wow! That's a great mature game, it has potential to grow into a really fun and clever strategy game. Well done, I really enjoyed playing it.
Nicely done. The idea is great, it just needs some polishing.
I liked how the pig grows, but didn't manage to get to the end. It stopped growing at some point. Interesting, what was the planned ending for the game considering the jam theme. Overall nice minimalistic art, but the game feels unfinished.
It's a really hard game, and I'm a bad bad person. Pros: good graphics, sounds, and the idea is great. Cons: it's hard to understand the task, I think that some visual clues or maybe notifications could make the current goal more clear. Great job overall!
Excellent, very polished game. Clever levels, nice graphics. I've found a bug when replaying, the apple appears on the empty square.
I like it! The gameplay is a little bit repetitive, but overall it's fun to play.
Great game. Well written with clever puzzles and a lot of details. Absolute loved playing it. Can even tink of anything to improve, it's perfect.
Well. Let's start from that I really into narrative-driven games to some extent. This extent ends at the point when that game tries to shut down my computer and destroy my week-long work. So that's why I didn't like that game. It's repetitive, bad written and, as I said, it's trying to destroy your work for the sake of dubious art. Please don't.
@jeremy-ryan Well, I understand the idea of the art invasion to real life. But we need to draw a line somewhere. You could've also deleted some system files or encrypted user documents. At what point we still call it an art and where do we start to call it a felony? Even if the outcome fits the story arc.
It's an interesting discussion though.
Funny game, nice voice acting. Looks like I can be a nice blobbysitter, I almost saved them all. Nicely done!
The controll scheme needs to be polished, but overall the game has potential. Clowns rule!
Wow! I enjoyed every little bit of it! Everything is great, all the details in animation, "dead shadow", sounds - I liked it a lot and had much fun and laughs playing it.
I like the concept and the alien animation is fun. Overall the game looks great! Nicely done!
I like the simplicity of the art. It's interesting to play.
Interesting gameplay, very addictive game. I like the artstyle and all the particle effects. Nicely done.
The retro look and sound made me think of cutscenes from old games. The first time you play, it's a little bit confusing, but when you realize that you can't (and more importantly you don't have to) decide anything, it's becoming a great experience. What I like is that you didn't try to follow any tropes, you just created something new and atmospheric.
Simple arcade-style game, but it has unique features. And it's hard to watch a lot of planets at once. I can see it as a great mobile game with some polishing. Nice job!
I like the minimalistic style of the game. The difficulty level is a little bit high, though.
Great puzzle. I really like the robot model, it looks cute.
Nice idea and execution. Too bad it's short, I can see me playing it for hours.
I like the mechanic. It's something new and refreshing.
That's one hell of a game! The controls are a little bit confusing, as the game itself. I really like the madness of the animation. By the way, in the first menu screen texts look a little bit off on the 1920x1200 resolution.
Wow! This game is great! Nice writing and fun characters! Not to mention cool music, yeah! Thank you!
Very cool game. The art is great, animation is smooth, gameplay is fun. I enjoyed it.
Very funny game, I like the physics and the voice acting.
That one is my favorite so far. Great idea, nice graphics and a lot (A LOT) of cleverly designed levels! I enjoyed playing this game.
I just finished it and enjoyed the ride. I think levels could be harder, but overall it was fun to play. Great job! The "win" sound is a little bit annoying though.
Interesting game, but it would be nice if you have some additional in-game help. It's hard to understand, what you should do in each minigame. But overall the game is nice.
The art and music are perfect. I really like it. The controls are not the best, but overall the game is great! Would be nice if you have an option to skip the dialogue.
That's some tense and innovative game. The music is rad as hell, I'm still dancing. But my keyboarding skills are not that great as I thought. Great job!
The game is easy enough (or I didn't wait long enough for some rough enemies). It lacks some functionality like destroying and selling towers to place more powerful. I like the art and sprites are looking great.
I like the graphics, music, and writing. What put me off is the control scheme, it's a little bit confusing. I believe if you made something simple like WASD+Mouse to shoot it would be better. But other than that, it's a nice game. Great work!
Interesting way to think about the theme. The gameplay is fun, although too many zombies dies. Hope, you will add sound to the game.
I like the game and the feel of it. Most of the time you are trying to understand where is that rear room located, so maybe something like a minimap or another visual clue could be great. Also, you can add crew members on the background trying to fight space pirates. It would be interesting to witness some intergalactic tragedy as a little robot trying to do his simple job.
The game is beautiful, I'm speechless. Everything - art, story, gameplay - fit together and resonates just like in poetry. Very deep and emotionally touching game. What a great work!
Simple yet addictive game. Great job!
The idea is good, but it's not clear what to do, so a simple tutorial screen could help. Also I like the final "Thank You" image. Good entry!
Nice game. It lacks sound, but overall it's an interesting take on the theme.
As a father can confirm, that's how it's going. Nice game!
I really like the concept and the minimalistic artstyle. Very clever executed levels.
Very fun and engaging game. The concept of keeping a balloon alive is cool! I had a lot of fun playing it. Excellent work!
The most fun part of the game is physics. Loved how the man jumping off.
Great bee simulator. I really like the idea. The control scheme could be more fluid, it would be great to be able to change pitch/roll. Now it's a little bit hard to navigate.
Well, it looks like really innovative puzzle. Sometimes it's acting strange though, when the target is very close to center, but not perfect. Maybe some visual clues of where the minions can be placed can help.
Very cool game, it's interesting to make all the combination while monster is treating you. Very clever idea. Sometimes the crystals refuse to be taken, you need to move away from them and go back. But overall it's a great game!
Wow, that's a very polished and fun to play game! I like it! Nicely done!
Wow! That was unexpected! Really cool premise, and cool game for the first time!
That's a cool looking, cool feeling and totally unforgiving game! I enjoyed playing it. It would be cool if it has an easy mode for slow people like me.
Great game! It's polished and fun to play. The graphics is cool, the controls are smooth. Wonderfull job!
Well, the game is looking good, but something to consider on the technical side: 1. The game with this kind of graphics shouldn't take about 700 Mb of the disk space. 2. As many of the UE4 games it's trying to start up my Oculus software during the play which is annoying.
I like the art and lighting, it sets the mood properly. Overall the game looks polished with all these icons and inventory screens. Nice job. Not my preferred genre but great game.
Wow! That's a realistic simulator! I can only survive for a month apparently. I liked the song and events description (and outcome). Also, it would be great to have some tooltips explaining every activity, as I'm still curious what was the topmost one about.
What a suicidal hedgehogs! Cool little game. The paw marks are awesome!
It was fun to play, but the option to turn off the music would be great. It's a little bit repetitive.
The art is so cool! I really love the arcade feel of the game. Great job!
Great one! Simple and cool. Music is nice too.
Unfortunately smoking kills. Hey, that's a great game! Interesting puzzles and cool doggie, nicely done!
@collin-thompson Thank you! I was trying to balance between "too much of the gameplay" and "no gameplay at all". I think I need to take some rest and play it again with a fresh eye.
@patrickjr My bad, sorry. It was my first time and I have to read the rules more carefully. Next time I'll try to make everything by myself.
@moebiusmeow Thank you! Those are the kind of emotions I tried to convey. Glad you liked it.
@adam-konig That's bad. I have no Mac, so I can't test it properly. It should be working though, Unity mostly does a great job of converting projects.
@gaz-ireland, sorry to hear that. I'll remove the Mac version, as I have no possibility to test it.
@bulle Thank you! I agree, there should be more activity, I planned something like this, but abandoned the idea for the sake of time.
@evergreen-games Thank you! Though it has flaws like any other procedurally generated cities.
@koemeterion, @santriptasharma Thank you! It's great to hear that the game provokes thoughts and emotions.
@joaquim-2009 Do you mean that I made it beforehand? No, it was made during Compo. The city is generated procedurally in Houdini, train cars are modeled by hand, music is written in an hour or so. The only things I didn't make are listed in the description - those are textures and some SFXs, and I've already got my portion of hatred for it.
@burneraccount Hey, mister troll! Did you ever try chamomile tea?
I like the main hero, the art is beautiful and the animation is on point. Although, it would be great to have the ability to sprint.
Although the control scheme is not the best, the game is good. You can shoot people to heal them! Wish it was so simple in real life.
The art is great, the gameplay is hard enough to keep player entertained. I think the music is a little bit repetitive, but overall I liked the game. Good job!
I like the gameplay, didn't get it first, but when the first wave of zombies arrives it started to catch me. Well done. I think controls need to be polished as it's a little bit off. Great game anyway!
Simple and fun. But at some point, it started to throw Null reference exceptions and the copter constantly fell down.
I like the pixelated graphics. Nice job!
I really like the motion, it feels great. Very fast-paced and fun to play game. Great job!
Interesting take on the theme. I love it, the game looks simple, yet it's hard to maintain a couple of parameters at once. Great job!
The game is interesting, but somehow on my screen, it looks very dark, not like in your video. Anyway, it's a great entry for the newcomer.
That was a great experience. I liked it a lot. Music, sound, the relaxing atmosphere. Everything we need in this uneasy times. Thank you!
Nice graphics, the hero art and animation is great. It's fun to play.
Simple yet addictive game. I ended up playing it for too long. Great job!
Interesting approach. It's a little bit dificult to find out what to do and how swipes affect the stats. Maybe you can add a help screen in the beginning. Also I agree on subtitles, it would be great to have them. Overall it's a great game and engaging story. Also I dig the graphics.
Great take on the theme. It's a cool and engaging game. I enjoyed the gameplay and had a lot of fun. Everything seems so polished - pacing, music, graphics. The only complaint is the build size. Other than that, it's a brilliant game. I hope you'll be able to develop the idea further.
Wow! it's an openworld survival game with lovely lowpoly models and moody sound! I enjoyed playing it! Great submission!
That's the coolest interpretation of the theme. The only complaint is the cumbersome control - sometimes it just gets stuck. Other than that, everything is great. I like how the difficulty differs based on the order of the drums you chose.
Very cute game, I love the graphics and the meditative yet challenging gameplay. All these loose claws, you know. Great entry, I enjoyed playing it.
The game is great, but it gives me nausea after a while. It would be great to have separate controls for pitch and yaw. Other than that it's a polished and engaging game, I like it.
Fantastic game. The movement is so fluid, it's almost mesmerizing. I played it for a while and enjoyed it. But it's challenging and reminds me of old arcade machines where you need to be a fast ninja to complete the game. Also, these "Enemies" are douchebags. Hate them.
Nice entry! I ended up playing it till the end. It was fun figuring out what to do, but I failed miserably. So I finished the game by pure luck - by swapping lanes chaoticaly. It would be great to have some kind of help screen or tutorial level. The sound is amazing and the graphics is nice. Great job!
I love every aspect of the game. Writing, visuals, sound - everything seems so polished and well crafted. I'm not sure if there is an actual ending of this infinite cycle, but maybe it doesn't have to have one. When you're stuck in this kind of relationship, there is no easy way out. Thank you for this emotional experience.
Very nice concept. The music is great, it was fun to play, although it would be great to see more complex levels. The game have a potential to grow into something big.
Wow! That's an impressive work on art. I'm a huge fan of point and click adventures and that one hits the right spot in my corrupted soul. Thank you for that experience and the story twist in the end. I hope, you'll be able to develop the game into something big, please let me know, I'll buy it on Steam.
That's an amazing game, and it deserves more attention. Everything is so well done, cool graphics, smart puzzles, and the original mechanic. Incredible job!
The art is fantastic. It's mindblowing to predict what will happen in this looped topologic conundrum.
Great entry. The level layout is superb. But the third time, it became a little bit boring to traverse through the level again. But overall, the atmosphere of a nightmare is believable. I enjoyed playing it!
Impressive work with all the 3D-assets, the game looks great! I enjoyed playing it. Nicely done!
I like the concept, it's thought provoking and deep. And I think it should be a mobile game. So you can play a game on your phone about how you read news on your phone.
At last! In the second run, I managed to finish it. The first one was frustrating, as I missed the key. Great visuals and the music is just outstanding, as always.
The story itself is intriguing and makes you think about the background. But it could be a little bit longer, as a lot of station sections appear to be not crucial for finishing the game.
Anyway, it's a great and polished game. And I can't wait for a documentary.
Just kidding, no pressure here. I literally CAN wait.
It's a great idea for a cool puzzle game. I think you should develop it further, as it has huge potential. Now all the levels are a little bit too easy to complete. It would be great to play it in full glory with more levels and elements. Nice entry! Congratulations!
Wow! It's hard to find something completely different, but here we go! Never-seen-before mechanic and cool implementation with great visuals and sound. I'm impressed with the amount of work, both technical and artistic. As a film editor in the past, I have to comment on how this is similar to cutting the film reel to create a story. And how it actually feels like creating a story. Great job!
Well, that's a weird game. Brilliantly weird. The type of game I was looking for when browsing compo games. I'm not sure how genetics work in this game, but it was fun to make new species. It can be an addictive idle game if you add more creature features. It's fun to watch them grow, you know.
Great take on the theme of depression and the creator's block. Problems keep piling, and you just can't see the end of this. That game made me reflects on things in my life, which is what art should be about. v
That's amazing. Best entry so far. It's so polished, the art is great, sound effects are wonderful and the gameplay is brilliant. I loved every bit of it. Very addictive and fun game!
The concept is brilliant. It's an interesting task to create an infinite loop. I agree on the fast forward button. It's boring to wait for the loop to kick off. Overall it's a great idea and worth further developing.
Great looking adventure game. But there are bugs. Some messages were stuck on the screen. Also, the terrorists' talk was a little bit too fast for me. Overall it's a great game, and I had fun playing it. I hope you'll be able to fix all bugs in the future.
What a nice and soothing game! I like the feel of it, as your garden grows, it's very satisfying. Also the models look great. Nice job!
The mechanic is interesting. It could be a nice puzzle in some point-and-click adventure. Or a nice timekiller by itself. Also I think it's an achievement to create this levels procedurally. Great job!
The game is cute, and the artwork is a masterpiece. I like every bit of it - from individual sprites to the in-between screens. The only complaint is music, it's a bit repetitive, so it would be great to have an option to turn it off. Other than that, it's a great and innovative game. I had a lot of fun playing it.
That was tense. The last time I've gotten these emotions was when I played the Alien Isolation. It's amazing how you managed to create this atmosphere of fear. The artwork is wonderful, sound design is top-notch. Oh, these steps will haunt me in my nightmares. Thank you for that.
Nice but short and rather easy to beat. I like the graphics and models, impressive work with lowpoly models.
Of all the programming games here this one has the most convenient interface. It's challenging and engaging. I like the visuals and levels layout. Puzzles are smart and at some point, they become very difficult to solve. Great game!
It was fun to figure out how to advance the plane towards the landing lane. Nice game. The only complaint I have is that music is a little bit repetitive and it would be cool to have an option to turn it off. Otherwise great entry!
Fun and addictive clicker. I like your take on the theme. I don't usually play idle games, but this one was fun to play and watch the progression.
This game conveys emotions. It's depressing to be stuck in such a loop. The job segment is great, it reminds me the Fish factory from "What remains of Edith Finch". I wonder if there is actual good ending in that game?
That's a cute little game. The gameplay is nice, the graphics is great. The only thing to complain is that you should never use the middle mouse button in HTML5 games, browser intercepts it for its own needs.
I absolutely love the game. It's a brilliant take on the theme of war. When you become every soldier died on a battlefield and you witness the chaos from the stone age till the atomic bomb - it depicts the rottenness of this broken cycle better than anything. In my taste, the game should be just a bit shorter, like, maybe 20 seconds. At some point, it becomes tedious when you figured out what's happening and already know how it ends, but still have to shoot people. Also, it needs some polishing in a sound department, if you know what I mean. Voiceover could be somewhat better. But overall it's a great game with deep meaning. Nicely done.
That's a therapeutic game for sure. I love the art and music is just fabulous! The narrative is smart and thought-provoking, that's the kind of games I'm into. Thank you. That was a very interesting and emotional experience to play your game.
The art is cool and the plot is interesting. I enjoyed playing the game. Great job!
I enjoyed playing it. The concept is original and smart and it's challenging even on the normal level. Nice job!
The music is great, visuals are stunning. The controls are clunky as described. Very nice, relaxing and atmospheric game. Nicely done!
The idea is actually quite good. The game plays a little bit slow and clunky in my taste. If it was a bit faster, there would be more fun with bouncing and so on. I can totally see it as an addictive mobile game.
What a cute little puzzle! I love the mechanics and the pup. The game can benefit from sound effects and music, but overall it was a fun experience to save the doggie from these awful spikes.
Very accurate simulator of a human being. I mean a hamster! Hamster! Great job with the theme! Nicely done!
What a great puzzle game! At first, I was skeptical if it can be challenging, but next, I wasn't for sure. Some of the levels were really hard to beat. Great job and fun game!
Minimalistic yet addictive game. The gameplay is fun and soundtrack is dope. The game reminds me of old soviet game "Perestroika" about the frog on water lily leaves.
I'm a stupid person, and it took me a while to understand what's happening in a game. Although the graphics are gorgeous and nicely done, it doesn't help with spacial clarity. But once I got it, it became more interesting and fun to play.
I actually enjoyed it despite the rough ending and lack of puzzles. The story is engaging and it could evolve into a fullscale adventure game. Great job!
That's the type of game I've been searching for in game jams. Very strange, unusual, and atmospheric. The aesthetics, sound, and narrative fit well. It was interesting to listen to these memories and try to put together the whole picture. The fact that these people and voices are don't exist, adds a new layer to the narrative - I don't know if that was intentional or not. Great job!
Great entry. I love the visual style and animation. It's sweet, short and fun to play.
Great game, nice animation and I like the level progression. Impressive job. By the way I think it's a physics thing but in different iterations boxes flies a little bit different. But it's a part of fun.
What a cute little game! I like the graphics and sound, it looks like very polished game. The idea of finding the shortest path is interesting, I think it could benefit if you let player to add new points to the curve. But overall it's fun to play. Great job!
I managed to finish the game in 411 turns with 4k hearts and 1k diamonds. First impression - it's really cool idea to mix a board game with some sort of resource management. The graphics and sound are nice (although sound is playing only in the left channel). As for the gameplay it's really slow at the beginning, you have to wait for a lot of turns to be able to open new paths. Also the endgame become a little bit repetetive and boring as you're just waiting for lucky dice roll to collect right amount of diamonds. But overall it was fun to play. I like the concept, maybe you can develop and balance it further.
Wow! That game is addictive. Great graphics, sound and movements. It feels great! I enjoyed playing it.
That's new. Nice puzzle with a cool mechanic. At some point, the text field started to receive all the keys I pressed. So I finished the game without that hints, with good old brute force. Nice game!
Great concept. A simple game mechanic opens a whole new level of engagement. Maybe it's a little bit easy to beat, but overall I had a lot of fun playing it. Also, the music is superb.
I'm a sucker for adventure games, and this one is great. I love the story and design. It's a little bit too easy to beat, and the looping idea could've been developed further. But overall, it's a nice game, and I've enjoyed playing it.
Interesting and relaxing experience. It would be great to be able to open your mp3 files or something and add all the vinyl imperfections to your own set of music.
I like the fact that your commands are actually in the loop, so they will be repeated, it wasn't clear at first. And it adds a new dimension to the whole puzzle. Nice job and very cute little game.
Wow! That's what, like three jam games at once? Very cool collection of games, each one if fun to play. I enjoyed playing every three of them. Nicely done!
Nice simple game. I imagine that's an accurate depiction of how cows make milk.
The controls are a little bit cumbersome, but it's a part of the fun. The graphics look neat, the models are cool and particle effects add a lot to the overall game feel.
Great job! It was fun to play.
@lestat, @tadeas-paule, @henrik-ganard, @rolly Thank you for your kind words!
@flopo @peeweek @aterlamia @elizir @wakobu @cyborg-studio @warrrkus Thank you! I appreciate your kind words, as I wasn't sure if a game like this could appeal to someone.
@pkenney Thank you for such quality feedback. Yes, I've tried a couple of options and ended with the fully random hand of cards. It feels more natural as sometimes you just don't have the right words or can't fully control yourself.
@gettingrekt You're right. I should've added the indication of available options, maybe as a slight tint of cards.
@listonos @demetri Thank you! I wasn't sure if this kind of game can appeal to the public. Glad you liked it.
@doomerismo @zackavelli @mikoziq @remzo @matchamaze @michael-feldman @chickencastle @amin-jk000 @coding4rtist @hakro Thank you for all your feedback, guys. Much Appreciated.
@iluvatar Agree, more options would be great, time restriction is the one to blame. But also I've tried to convey the idea of the lost control when the conversation went off the rails, and you can't think of anything good. And you end up saying all the asshole words without even thinking. So it's an intentional decision to make the player feel bad.
@blobo Thank you! I glad the game gave you such emotions.
@q-bert-reynolds Yep, someone should be fired for that safety problems. Thank you for your kind words.
That's new. Cool and challenging puzzle with the looping and gravity direction. Smart level design made me feel stupid fore a while. Really solid entry and great game! Congratulations!
Wow! That's a smart and engaging game. You need to plan your movements carefully or else your gut will be all over the floor. I like the graphics and fluid animation. Great concept. I enjoyed every bit of the game, although it's a bit challenging.
Great puzzle game. I've seen a little bit too much of these rewind games on the Brackeys jam, but this one is actually engaging, pretty looking, fun to play, and smart. Great job!
I love this type of game. It's meditative and soothing and thought-provoking. Graphics and calm music set the right mood. Great entry!
Interesting take on the Tower defense mechanics, but it's way too easy. The game needs more enemies, more lines of defense, and so on. It definitely has the potential to grow.
Wow! Mindblown! You managed to create game from pure circles. And the gameplay is actually good and engaging. Puzzles are smart and the feel of game is great. Congratulations!
Great idea. It's challenging to capture all the slimes. I can see it as a cool mobile game. It is worth further development. Nicely done!
I like how the time restriction makes you make fast decisions. The amount of options is mindblowing, but you have no time to use them all.
So the gameplay is just a simulation of life - you have to fulfill as many plans as you can within the limited timeframe before you die. But I wanted to create a large farm with automatic milkers and stuff... Sorry, no. It's the end.
Great job! It's amazing how such a minimalistic game can convey emotions.
I like it! Guard's voiceover is wonderfull, I was puzzled when heard it first time. Great game, thank you!
The concept is great, I enjoyed 'playing' it. The only complaint is that not all sounds fit well together. Maybe it would be great to have some drums and bass to play with. In the current state, the tune is a little bit monotonous. The idea of the last moments of life becoming a piece of music is fascinating and dark at the same time. This is the type of game I like to find on Game Jams. When it's intended the player not to win, but to experience something new and unique.
Superb! Fun little game with well-crafted art and animation! I enjoyed playing it and watching all these funny movements. Very polished game!
Ha, that's something new! I like the morbid humour of the game, nicely done.
Wow! The game is great, the movements are fluid, levels layout is smart and I ended up playing it for a long time. Nice job!
That's a fun game, I enjoyed playing it. It's a little bit too hard to find the right person to kill, but that's what policemen do. The music is just outstanding. If you add a simple animation to all these magnificent creatures, it could become a huge hit. Congratulations!
The music and the art play well together. They set a very mesmerizing and soothing atmosphere. This game makes me think about how we can change the world even by our everyday repetitive actions.
The game is just great. I really dig the graphics, sound and the gameplay, everything seems so polished and well-made. Wonderful job with setting the atmosphere. So far it's the best game I've seen on jams.
It's a great game, not even for first-timer, but overall. I like the presentation: art is cool, writing is on point, and the gameplay is fun.
That's challenging. I like the wallrun mechanic, but sometimes it's hard to understand what to do. I'm stuck in a room with a lot of doors. The art looks nice, I like that "foggy" style.
Great entry, it's a fun and engaging game. I like how you can leave a job at any time and go to the bar.
What I fancy the most is art. You accomplished an impressive work with these cool looking sprites. Also, the music is great.
Congratulations on your first jam! Very solid entry!
Very nice and soothing game. I like the concept and graphics. The way robot flips sides is great. Wonderful job!
I like this type of experiments. It can lead to new cool mechanics. Well done and the gameplay is actually fun, you just have to imagine all the monsters and NPCs in your head.
Nice short experience. The main idea is great and metaphoric in a sense. The audio hints are a little bit obvious, maybe you could've made them a little more subtle and complex. But overall, I enjoyed playing it.
Interesting mechanic, it's something new yet familiar, so I was able to get better in this game in a matter of minutes. The idea is neat, and that's cool that you made the control scheme very simple. Great game!
Simple and relaxing game.
Wow, it looks like a new arcade mechanic! Very interesting take on the theme. The game is fun and I've enjoyed playing it. Great job!
The concept is interesting. Overall it's a great game with some balance problems. I like the minimalistic approach. Had a lot of fun playing it.
I like the sence of progression, when you're going down. The only thing at some point I felt like it's a bit too easy and I realized, that the light isn't shrinking, so my whole playthrough was in the noob mode. I think it's a bug worth investigating.
The game is so cool on every level. The graphics are great, the music is awesome, the pacing is just right. I enjoyed every minute of playing it. The encounters could be more diverse, but it's a jam game after all. Very polished and fun game. Nicely done!
The concept itself is interesting and original. The game lacks a proper tutorial though. It's fun to randomly press the space button, but it's better to actually know what to do. From what I figured out the idea is great, it needs some polishing and the explanation. Other than that, great entry!
Well done! I liked the writing a lot. The characters are so interesting, it would be great to see them in a bigger game. It was fun to play, great job!
It's an interesting and original game, once you figured out how it works. If you improve the tutorial and fix bugs, you'll get a nice commercial game with unique mechanics. Nicely done!
First of all: the game is gorgeous. The visuals are cool, right from the start menu, the music is outstanding and perfectly fits the game. It took more time than anticipated to understand the mechanics. You really need to add a proper help for the game. Also, the interface is not explained properly, like how to use a floppy, how to move the camera, and so on. Once you add the help card and maybe some feedback for the player's actions, the game will rise and shine in all its glory as it deserves. I loved it once I got the gist of it.
Every "root-themed" game on this LD has its own charm and distinctive features. In yours, I like the minimalistic approach to graphics and UI. Nothing distracts the player from the growth. It's so soothing and relaxing, and so satisfying to watch! Great game!
Very interesting and indeed deep concept. The game is a bit too short to fully get the gist of it, but the idea of fighting inner monsters to help people in need is great. I hope, you'll manage to expand the gameplay and add more dialogues after the jam.
The stylization is great, it feels very polished visually. The gameplay itself is a bit plain and simple, but overall the game feels nice and it's fun to play it. Nicely done!
Wow, this game is somewhat similar to what we made, but it ships with these nice Speccy graphics, so it's better by definition. I almost heard my mom yelling at me not to sit too close to the TV, as it's bad for my eyes. One more level, mom, I promise!
I love the idea, it has a potential. What would be great is to have some sort of feedback for different actions in the game. Like sabotage for example - it's hard to notice what actually happened. Also it would be cool to have some options to choose from. Like choose what would you gain: food or fuel. As I said, the idea is great and you can think of a lot of cool stuff to expand the gameplay.
I always knew it was the rubber duck all along. The game is insanely polished and interesting to play, I enjoyed every bit of it. Everything fits nicely together, the art, music, sound, and the gameplay. And it's a UE game with a size less than a gigabyte, so you definitely know what you're doing. I love your game, it's brilliant. Thank you!
A very unusual and unique take on the theme. The visuals are insanely great, I loved them. I picture it as a cool little mini-game in a large-scale mystery project. Well done!
What's this? "Rusty lake"? "Gorgoa"? Oh, it's the LD Jam game made in 72 hours! The downside of playing this type of game from the Jam is the lack of hints and solutions on the Internet, so I had to finish it all by myself. It was a pleasant experience, the main thing I stuck at was the meaning of the cave paintings. Once I figured it out, it went smoothly. The game is great and polished. The art is adorable. The puzzles are unique and not banal. Wonderful job!
Very cool game! I have never seen anything like this before in my long-long gaming life. It's mesmerizing and if you want to beat the game, you should accept it and go deep into the trance. And the length of the game is just right: not too short, not too long. I picture it as a cool little puzzle inside a bigger adventure game about traveling through the mind.
Wow! Just wow! It's so weirdly beautiful! Everything in this game is so nicely done! The animation, graphics, sound - everything sets the right mood. And the fights are so tense, it almost feels like a horror game. The reloading mechanic is punishing, yet it's appropriate in this game. I had a great time trying to escape from these pesky monsters.
I think it's the best of your games so far. The mechanic is so unique and fun, it looks like a finished commercial game already. Just put it to stores and make a fortune! The only thing to complain about is the lack of a "Drop it" button. A couple of times I just had no space to place the piece and ended up frustratingly losing. Overall it's one of these games, Jams made to discover. With new awesome mechanics and unusual gameplay. Nicely done!
The concept is unique and fresh. But the difficulty level is so high right from the start, that it scares noobs like me. I only managed to get to 16 out of 100, and it includes a lot of tries and frustration. Maybe you can add lives or a health meter? Other than that, the game is brilliant and innovative.
Nice game. The idea of upgrading mechanics is great, you need to expand it. It would be great to have some health pick-ups in the later levels. Other than that, it's a cool game and I enjoyed playing it.
The idle is not my type of game, but this one catched me and I had to play till the victory. It's an interesting and addictive concept. Sure it can use some more balancing and polishing, but overall it's already playable and enjoyable.
That's one of the best jam games I've ever played. The only thing to complain is a bit wacky controls (or it's just me being a noob). Other than that everything's perfect. Graphics, sound, music, narrative part with all the references (babel station, huh). Very cool mechanics (like the jetpack one). It just feels like a ready to ship game rather than the Jam prototype. Great job you've done here! Congratulations!
There are a couple of root-themed games on the jam. It's interesting, how they all are different. Your game is great and polished, the gameplay is unusual and relaxing, although some levels are really hard to beat. I agree, the game could benefit from the "undo" button. Overall, it's an interesting and fun to play puzzle game. Nicely done!
Love the style of it. The animation is smooth, and it feels so good to watch this little fellow grow. Very relaxing indeed. I picture it as a cool and calming mobile game. Nicely done!
So cool and fun-to-play game! Everything is polished and in the right place. I like the cute graphics and the permanent sense of danger. As a suggestion, you can add some technical progression, like the ability to buy an elevator or something like that. Overall, it's a great game!
Great game, but it's hard to master. The art and sound work nicely together, the mood is right. As an improvement, I would propose a self-fixing mechanic, so the damage automatically goes down after some time. It'll make the game a bit easier for new players. Overall, great entry!
Deeper-deeper-deeper! Nice little puzzle game. The 3D art is astonishing! Animation is great and polished! Music is perfect! The gameplay itself is pleasant. The puzzles are not that hard to solve, but interesting, a lot of cool mechanics you've implemented. Overall it's a great and polished game! I enjoyed playing it.
The planet is awesome and, well, atmospheric. The music is outstanding. Overall it's a great game. The only thing it lacks is the sense of progression. You're just trying to find parts one by one in no particular order. It would be great if with these parts you acquired upgrades for your vehicle, like fuel tank, scanner, speed booster, etc. This would make searching a bit more fun and exciting at the end. It's just a piece of constructive criticism. Overall it's a nice game and I had a lot of fun playing it.
Wow! So polished, so nice! It lacks some feedback like when something is added to the inventory. The angle at which the "Interaction icon" appears is a bit narrow. Other than that everything is perfect. The writing, sound, music, graphics - everything's great. I loved every bit of it. The only thing I missed is how the girl ended up in the chest. But I think it's the story for another time.
The art and the animation are outstanding. The controls are a bit jerky, though. The cat constantly trying to roll uncontrollably. I think for this type of game (relaxing I think) controls should be easier to master. But overall it's a cute and moody game. I enjoyed playing it. Nice music too!
Why don't you make a platformer, like all the normal people? There's no "art" in the "game", y'know. Jokes aside, it's beautiful. From the tiniest flashing pixel to the whole directing of the story. If the goal of an art piece is to convey emotions and thoughts, then your game is true art on every level possible. Thank you for that wonderful experience. I love your game, please tell her that! Too bad the marriage between an interactive experience and a man is still forbidden. But the time will come.
It's so beutiful, so relaxing and so satisfying in the end! And the music is just awesome. Great entry!
Nice entry. I liked playing it although this is not my favorite genre. The pacing is great, it pushing you further. I don't like the wall-climbing mechanics, because I'm a noob and can't even play games. The character constantly fell, which was frustrating given the circumstances of the close volcano eruption. Overall it's a great game with interesting mechanics. Nicely done!
Very interesting puzzle. It takes some time to get the gist of it, but once you do, it's really fun to play. I like unusual mechanics like this and I enjoyed playing it. If you add some feedback (visual and sound) to what's happening in the game and create a descent help screen, the game could transform into a nice commercial product.
It's a great interactive experience, very calming and thoughtfull. The concept is interesting, it pushes you to explore the ocean. Maybe the controls need some polishing and the LODs are a bit aggressive, but overall I liked the game and enjoyed playing it. Nicely done!
Loved playing it. It took me some time to understand that you can dig under the fences. The narration and music are great, overall game looks nice and feels great. Nicely done!
Great idea. The game is simple but engaging. The art is great, the animation is nice, the pacing is good. I enjoyed playing it.
Wow. I managed to get 8200 points, I don't know if it's a lot, but I spent more time than I would in other Jam games. The music is great, the art is dope. I would suggest adding feedback when you do something good or bad. For the first couple of minutes, I didn't understand if a game even reacts to me pressing the buttons. Like you can color the arrow icons or something. Overall it's a cool little game. Great job!
The potential of this game is great. The type of indirect control is perfect. I loved watching ants trying hard to fulfill my demands. Of course, the game desperately needs polishing and balancing. Also, a proper tutorial would be great. But overall, it's a cool concept and it has everything to transform into a fully commercial game. Congratulations!
The art is incredible. I love the way you handle player's failures and the transitions between levels. The gameplay itself is a bit plain, but the atmosphere, the mood - those are wonderful. Also, the animation is top-notch. Very, very nicely done!
Great game with simple mechanics. Very polished, everything fits nice together, sound, music, graphics. The pacing is ideal for this type of games. The only complaint is that sometimes the mouse cursor gets to the neighbouring screens (on a multimonitor setup) and while you try to get it back, the comet slows significantly. Overall it's a great game and I had fun playing it.
Everything about this game is just right. The graphics, sound, pacing, gameplay - the game is nearly perfect in every sense. I enjoyed every minute of playing it. Nicely done!
The coding part is my favourite. What a cute little game! It's fun and simple, everything is just perfectly fits together, from graphics to the sound and the storyline. Great job!
There are quite a few "root-themed" games on this jam, and every one of them has its own twist. Yours is very calm and relaxing and it's so satisfying to watch the root growth. I enjoyed playing it, nicely done!
That's an amazing experience. Everything is so well done. The sound and especially the voice acting are the best. The game very well sets the mood of the loneliness in space. The only thing to complain about are the controls. They are terrible and terribly unexplained. I spent full 10 minutes trying to figure out what's happening before even see the Earth. Next, I was amazed by the beauty of the space and the atmospheric sound. But when the blind part started I just gave up. I want to see the ending, but I just can't stand said controls, and the game doesn't give a single hint about where to thrust. Overall the game is great, it's deep and emotional. Too pity not everyone can enjoy it till the ending.
Very cool concept, the idea of scrolling through the layers is just superb! The motion is fluid, the art is nice. Overall it's a great soothing experience. Maybe it could benefit from some random artifacts you collect from tiles or something like this to break the routine. Great game!
The game is so cool and the pinguin is cute. Nicely done, it's was fun to play.
That's exactly how I picture the insides of a washing machine. The game is great, it was fun to play, although the flashlight is a bit too demanding. Maybe you can add more batteries on the levels. Overall, the game is nicely done and fun to play. Great job!
I enjoyed playing it. Defeating the Kraken was satisfying and the Kraken itself is so cute! Very polished and nice game. But I have so many questions about your choices on the control scheme! Why Q and D? Why the firing side changing with the camera position? It was very annoying in a tense battle when the side switches randomly while you're trying to look around. Other than that the game is great and fun. Nicely done!
What a nice and unique puzzle! At the first couple of levels, it feels very basic and easy to beat. But in the end, it's very challenging and even frustrating. Some of the levels made me feel stupid. The amount of levels you created is amazing, how did you manage to make them in the jam timespan? Overall it's a great game, it feels polished and finished, ready to ship to mobile stores with the additions of tonnes of in-app purchases and ads. Just joking. Nicely done!
The game looks pretty, and it's actually pretty hard to beat. I managed to get the final cargo through a lot of fails. I like the graphics, it has it's own unique style and mood. Overall I enjoyed playing it. Nice game!
That was a nice short game. A bit too easy to beat, but it was fun to play. The stealth level can be finished by just running to the elevator. The graphics and the sound are great, they really set the right mood. Nicely done!
The art and audio are great, they set the right mood. The gameplay itself is plain, the lack of any feedback makes the game a bit boring. Also, you've got my attention with the technical stuff. How did you manage to make the build size more than 5Gigs? From what I've seen in the game it's not very obvious. I think this is the technical issue on your side you should look into, as the build size can scare some potential players off.
Adorable simple game. Of course, it needs some polishing: add more animation, more pick-ups, different bonuses, the sense of progression. But overall it's already fun to play and the art is just amazing. Well done!
Fun little game. I like the idea of running away from the A* algorithm, it's something new. I enjoyed playing it, managed to get to almost 1m deep. Also the music is great. Nicely done!
Great idea to use the angle of the earth to control the speed and acceleration of the object. The game is cute, but punishing. I enjoyed playing it, nicely done!
Very nice indeed. Everything in this game so tightly fits together! The beautiful graphics, wonderful music and narration, the humor. The gameplay itself is a little bit plain and easy, it needs to be expanded and polished, but overall it's a great and fun-to-play game.
Great game. Although the core loop is simple, it carried me away. It needs some polishing, mostly in the battle phase. It would be great to have some kind of feedback, as now it's a little bit chaotic and hard to follow during the battle. But overall it's a nice game with a huge potential. Great work!
The concept is original and interesting, but the timer is too harsh to noobs like me. May I suggest you to add an option to turn it off as a difficulty level adjustment? The game itself deserves the players attention. If you make the learning curve flatter, everyone would benefit from this.
Very interesting concept, a real-time card battle. I feel like this can be expanded to a bigger game. Well done!
Brilliant game. I love the idea and the implementation. Everything so nicely plays together! It looks like a finished game, possibly mobile. Very polished and well done. I enjoyed playing it.
Yep, the hat is totally the best character in the game! Jokes aside, the game is great and entertaining. Very impressive work on the assets and particle effects, congratulations! I had so much fun playing it!
Very unusual and cool mechanics. It was an interesting experience, although sometimes a bit too punishing. Everything in this game is so well done. Great job!
Nice game. It reminds me of our entry, but from another angle. It definitely could use some improvements with the UI, but overall the idea is great. Some of my tiles were glitched out and stuck without the arrows on the field. Maybe that's why when I have reached zero tiles, the game won't notice me in any way. Hopefully, you'll get a chance to fix bugs and polish the game, as it seems very fun to play.
Nice entry. Love the soundscape, ha-ha. The puzzles are interesting, yet a bit repetitive. It would be great to get some sort of feedback when pushing the lever, like the sound of opening gates. Overall I enjoyed playing it, thank you!
Just awesome. It's not only about the amount of work you did in terms of levels, mechanics, art assets. But it's about the story and the mood and the heartbreaking final. The only complain I have is the controls, jumps are a bit clumsy. If you fix this, it would be a finished indie game made with passion and heart. Thank you for that wonderful emotional experience!
Sooo cool! One of the best games I've seen here. It's so bizarre and beautiful! Graphics, animation, music, everything fits, everything sits. The amount of work behind this is outstanding. Congratulations!
I like the style of the tunnel itself. It's so well made! The game is great and it was fun to play it. For some feedback: it would be nice to make the on-screen text bigger, as the helping rat is often trying to say something important during the tense driving and you can miss the message. Overall it's a great and polished entry. Well done!
Ok, here is the deal. I'm a sucker for dialogue games and I enjoy reading well-written conversations. This game almost gave me this kind of pleasure. It's thoughtful, the writing is good, the topics are serious. But it just doesn't hit the right button.
First, the premise and the game title imply that it's a comedy. Also, the game finale goes the comedy route. But the gameplay and topics discussed are not comedic in any sense. This dissonance is off-putting. Second, the conversation itself is a little bit shallow, it's mostly listing historical facts. It somewhat reflects the usual psychoanalytic's job, but for the sake of gameplay, I think the conversation needs to be readjusted and be more "cinematic" in terms of pivotal points and emotional swing.
Overall, it's a great game with a great premise. The topic is too serious and complex to be fully developed within the game jam timeframe, but you made what you could. I don't think anyone could do it better in a couple of days.
The game is awesome. The amount of work you have done is amazing. On a constructive criticism side: the way text appears on the screen is annoying and I think you need to add proper feedback to bad guesses. Right now, if you try to use something on something and it was a wrong guess, you have to watch this unskippable text again and again, it's just against the gist of point-n-click games which is all about experimentation. Also, the game would benefit from highlighting the interactable objects to avoid pesky pixel hunting. But it's just my thoughts on how to improve the game. It's already gorgeous and moody.
@hiki911 Thank you! @uzpykes I agree. It's hard to balance the difficulty during the jam timespan. By the way, the maze layout is randomized, so every other try would feel different. @apeyrard Yes, the automatic switching was the option we had in mind. It would be nice addition. Also you can move the camera by WASD.
@caiolima Thank you! @sam-onella Yep, the initial conditions can be punishing sometimes. Just like in the real life, huh. Thanks! @theawesomeshaz Just create two virtual cameras, one with the wide FOV and one with the narrow. Next morph between them with Cinemachine. Thank you! @stone-studio It's an interesting idea to add a multiplayer option, we should think about it. Thank you!
@eldogg Wow, that not how it supposed to look. Definitely a bug in the Linux version. What screen resolution you played at?
@asdehielo Thank you! +1AP means that you can create more root tile in one turn to get more water to the slider. But I agree, the game needs to be balanced a bit, in terms of costs, upgrades and amount of water in the tiles.
@xoreaxeax @merpui @ben-newington Thank you for your kind words!
@gentlemelon01 Thank you! We've added a hard difficulty in the post-jam version. @maxwell3000 Thank you! Actually you can move a camera with WASD + MouseWheel, we should've make this clearer. @clamshell64, @binaya, @majadroid, @hypnoquat, @yamzho Thanks a lot!
That's a hell of a job to ride the elevator to the inferno! I really like the visuals. The monsters are cute, the animation is nice. The difficulty level is a bit uneven, I agree, but that's an underworld elevator, what can you expect? Overall it's a great game! Nicely done!
I had a great time playing it. The core loop is nice, movements are fluid, the sound is great, the feedback is nice. And all these a-holes drillers around, hate them! It's fun to play the game, nicely done!
You did it! You gave me a new experience in the narrative game! The writing, the gameplay itself, the music... Everything works well together. It can benefit from some polishing, like for example while I didn't send the answer to the bad guy, I still had dialogue options about it. But overall it's a great little experience with an interesting ending. Also, I like the fact that you should google for the clues to the answer. Great job!
The description looks promising, but there is no download link.
I think you nailed the physical properties. The player can feel the weight of the submarine and the water resistance. The game is fun to play, it's simple at its core, yet challenging. Great job!
I like the style of the game and had fun playing it. The concept of a bird becoming heavier while eating is interesting and adds a new perspective on the game. There are a couple of problems though. The introduction is too long and unskippable, sometimes the bird got stuck and you have to restart the level. Overall, it's a solid entry and a great game. Nicely done!
There are quite a few games about exploring depths and taking pictures of sea creatures at this jam. But your game actually did it great. It has the right balance between searching and managing your submarine, it kept me engaged and entertained till the very last encounter. I didn't find all of the creatures but had a lot of fun searching for them. The graphics are great, the sound is atmospheric, the pacing is just right. It's a nice and polished game. Congratulations!
Great game! It would be great to have some kind of tutorial. I spent the first couple of levels blasting myself to pieces because I thought that flags should show you if there is a stick of dynamite on the cell. And after the 7th level, I'm still in doubt what numbers are supposed to mean. Are they show you the total amount of dynamite cells in the rows/columns or they limited with some radius?
Other than the tutorial part, the game is wonderful, the mechanic is interesting and innovative. Congratulations!
Wow, I just in love with your game. I've reached the sun on the bottom and it was an enjoyable experience. It's so satisfying to watch the root growth, the sense of progression is insane, the music is sound is just on point. Everything works together well. Very calm, charming game. It's polished and fun to play. Thank you!
Nicely done. Cool stealth game. It's a bit difficult to find the right spot for the "E to stealth kill" to appear. I really dig the graphics, and the lighting of the scene. Great work!
The concept is great, I really like the visual style and sound. The controls were a bit offputting for me, I think the game could benefit from simplifying them to one left mouse click. But after all it's one of that weird surreal strangely awesome games, that don't actually need a gameplay. It's more about art and conveying emotions. And this's something you've managed to achieve. Congratulations!
Nice, but short. The idea is neat, I laughed a lot while playing. Make it longer, it would be a great game! And for god's sake, put the language option on the main screen. Don't think a lot of people can figure out, what the "HacTponkn" is.
The concept is great, I like your take on the expansion mechanics. For a prototype, it's already playable, but it would be good if you can add some feedback for what's happening, like sound effects and so on. Overall it's a solid entry and an interesting idea of the game. Great job!
I enjoyed my time playing it. The submarine looks so great, I can spend hours just admiring the view. I think the mood could benefit from a bit more "exploring" music, but overall it's fine. Maybe you can add some kind of locator to make it easier to find the ruins. Also as mentioned before, it would be great to be able to rotate the camera.
Wow, what a cool little game! I loved playing it. The concept is interesting and thoughtful, levels are easy to traverse, yet nicely done, the music is awesome and the graphics are just outstanding. Congratulations! Great game with a potential of growth!
Nice and polished game! The thrusters are the best -- the VFX, the lighting, the robot movement, everything's so dope! This game feels like a fully-featured commercial game rather than a game jam entry. Great job!
Not my type of games, but I had to play a pixel-art 2D game made with Unreal. There are couple of problems (like the About screen not fitting the 1920x1080 resolution). Also the music is a bit repetitive, so it would be great to have an option to turn it off. But other than that it's a solid game. The second level is a bit too punishing and lacks health restore pick-ups.
The idea of monsters adding the time to your timer is great. It would be great to have some help card about that though, as I struggled the first couple of minutes trying to figure out what's happening. Visually the game is stunning! Sadly I've got visual glitches on the lava level, which look like flashing images, so I didn't finish the game. Overall it feels great, although will benefit from some polishing like adding a tutorial and smoothing the animation.
It's an interesting concept, but it needs more polishing. The interface (The depth text) right now is showing in the middle of the screen. Also after death, I didn't get any "Start again" button, so I had to Alt+F4 and run it again. The game itself is interesting and has potential. The graphics and the animation are great, the music is nice. You only need to add minor tweaks to make it look like a real finished game.
I like this type of game with indirect control and resource management. It took me some time to figure out what to do in your game, it could benefit from a simple tutorial. At some point, it became a bit boring, as there is not a lot you can control. Maybe you can add more resources, more stuff to do, like buying instruments, upgrade miners, and so on. If you do so, the game will shine at its best. Also, it crashes when I almost reach the goal, just like in the real life.
What a lovely game! It was fun to play, although bugs were trying to break the enjoyment. Bodies can easily clog the corridor and make the level unpassable. When you out of ammo on a weapon 2, it starts to creak and you have to wait till the end of this sound to be able to switch weapons. Other than that everything is great. The pacing is right, the graphics and animation are nice, the gameplay is fun. Great entry!
The character is soo cute! I love the fact that you use bubbles as a moving force, it's a nice little touch. Overall the game feels great. Graphics, sound, and pacing are nice. I would prefer a keyboard for the controls, but it's just a matter of taste. Great job!
First of all the size of your team is outstanding. If all these people took part in making this game, the management of the team in the jam conditions must be an art by itself. As for the game, I loved playing it, it's great you don't explain every bit of it, so it was cool to explore everything by myself. Like that mushrooms don't kill, they can slow you down, and that money you collect becomes your health points. Overall the game feels nice, great job!
You know what? You can make it a successful game, like the Geoguessr. It's so interesting and challenging in a new way. The possible improvements: randomize the order of the pages, block the ability to use the "back" button and the search function. Overall it's a great experience. I Hope, you'll get a chance to develop it further.
Wow, that's something new. Very interesting concept and nice implementation too. I had a lot of fun, creating these headlines. After some point, the level is not leveling further, although the button is present. Other than that it's a cool little game or rather an experience. I picture it as a fun hit game if you manage to create a community-powered content system, so everybody can suggest a topic.
Wow! The game is visually stunning. Everything is so pretty and well made! And you managed to fit this nice graphics into a relatively small build, my regards! The game or rather experience is just beautiful, nothing to add. And the music fits well. Congratulations!
This was fun to play. Great writing with surreal images and music takes you to the mystical mood. The ending is a bit abrupt, I waited for something more **deep** and strange. But it's a matter of taste, nothing more. Thank you for that interesting experience.
It's an adorable game with a cute character. I love the fact that in order to go deeper we have to climb higher. The game looks and feels like a good fairy-tale for children, with very nice art, voice-over, and music. A bit short perhaps, I hope you'll expand it. Nicely done.
It's a cool game, I liked the fluidness of the motion. It has some bugs: the main character texture is constantly turning into a low-res version, the UI is messed on 1920x1080, it just doesn't fit. Also sometimes the rat is obscured by the UI on the right side of the screen. Other than that the game is great. It feels nice, the art is wonderful and the music is just the best. Congratulations on finishing it with such a huge team! It must have been hard to manage such a crowd.
That's fresh. Never seen anything like this before, and this is an achievement in the modern world of games. The game needs polishing, but as a prototype, it already works and gives a new experience to a player. Well done
Nice game. I like how it starts slow and gradually speeds to the pacing where you literally can't do much, just fall. I had fun playing it. Great entry!
Great idea and solid execution! It was genuinely fun vacuuming up stuff from those scoundrels who hide coins in trash bins. The only thing - I didn’t realize there was a timer at first, so when I got kicked back, I thought it was a bug. I managed to finish the game, and the progression felt just right for a 48-hour project.
At first, I wasn’t a fan of how many control buttons there were, but later I actually started enjoying it - especially when the timer’s ticking down and you have to quickly hit the right combo to drop your load. Overall, it turned out to be a really great game. Congratulations!
The art and sound style are really impressive! The game occasionally stutters when objects spawn, but it doesn't ruin the experience. I enjoyed the pacing, though I wish the difficulty curve were smoother - enemies appearing more gradually would help a lot.
An interesting game packed with cool ideas! First, the fact that your opponent can steal your hard-earned loot really adds dynamism. Plus, the ability to crush your opponent under a pile of nuts is delightfully unusual. Unfortunately, at some point the game starts feeling a bit too chaotic, I even wondered if a fully turn-based approach might have worked even better. The bugs with nuts floating in mid-air aren’t critical. Great result overall!
Great game with a thick, immersive atmosphere. I couldn’t finish it because it crashed on the "Containment" level with a "Low Level Driver Error" (I’m on an RTX 4090). But the execution is really strong - especially the lighting and shadows. Congratulations!
An unusual concept - catching fish within tiles. It's an interesting game idea, especially with the aquarium integration.
Banana. Can confirm, that's how my average day looks like.
Don’t you just hate it when butterflies fly away over the fence? I wonder how many colors there are in total? I made it through four stages, but then I accidentally broke the jar and lost my precious treasure. Such a great game! And hey, using Houdini is an instant bonus point!
Such a wonderfully weird and clever idea! I really love the visuals and the physics in this game. I never managed to find the head though - got up to 94% normality at best. Also, the music should loop, because by the end you’re playing in complete silence. Great work overall!
Interesting concept! However, it lacks feedback and a clear structure. Adding a timer during which you have to memorize items would already reduce some of the frustration. It also seems there are bugs with indicating item locations in fullscreen mode, at least I couldn’t point to the guitar. Overall, though, great work, especially considering how many assets were created in just 48 hours.
You really should add a description and some screenshots - I almost missed this masterpiece! The nonlinear storytelling, layered narrative, and even the mini-game all come together beautifully. I especially loved the level layout - everything feels thoughtfully designed. This is a fantastic prototype with serious potential to grow into a full-fledged game set in this universe!
Wow! That’s a genuinely fresh mechanic! I really liked the idea that you’re not just fending off enemies, but also have to shove the stolen goods back into place. It really adds tension. The game could probably use some progression, like power-ups or upgrades that help you handle later waves more effectively. I think this concept has serious potential to grow into a full-fledged, original game.
The music rocks! It’s a really intriguing concept with lots of room to grow. Using the player’s greed as a narrative device sounds like a brilliant idea. Great game!
An interesting take on the "digger" genre. Fun graphics and sound. The coal definitely thinks a bit too highly of itself.
Great idea and a polished game. It’s very enjoyable to play, especially in zen mode. The tactical element falls a bit short for me, it’s easier to just click everywhere until the right pattern matches. That could probably be improved by adding extra objectives or something else. But even as it is, I really liked the game, it’s relaxing and pleasant.
Interesting and unsettling experience! I’m not entirely sure what to do (yes, I’m really that dumb) and ended up stuck in a wall, unable to move, but I still spent a good five minutes or so in the game and genuinely enjoyed it. Great entry!
A magnificent game by every standard. Graphics, sound, animation, feedback - everything is really well done. It was a pleasure to play, and the helicopter at the end is hilarious.
Interesting take on the tower defense genre! I quite liked it, although the progression could use a few tweaks - the last wave felt a bit too easy. Overall, the game’s quality is excellent. I enjoyed every aspect of it. Congratulations on a solid entry!
@ericns Thank you! Procedural generation in Houdini really helped me a lot with the content. I started by creating just one little house, then multiplied it with variations.
@immortalfox Thank you!
@theoratkin I had so much fun recording those sounds. I think my neighbors appreciated it too!
@artificer These guys staring into the abyss are a side effect of bad pathfinding. I should fix it at some point. Thanks!
@egor-ae-game Valid point. I added a link to a youtube gameplay video to the post.
@she-wrote Yeah, I’m planning to rework the demons’ behavior, as well as some other aspects, to make the game a bit easier. Sadly, I spent the last hours of the jam trying to fix a memory leak caused by Unity instead of testing it. Thanks a lot!
@alec-cunningham Thanks! I also hate when they gather in the corners. The pathfinding and state machine itself both need some rework - I’ll get to it someday after the jam is over.
@petitlu Thank you! I didn’t mean for the NPCs to behave this way, but it is what it is. I like to think they’re just staring into the abyss at the edge of their world - and maybe wondering what they’re doing with their lives.
@adrien-tremblay @pres2300 @protohere Thanks!
@infernaton Thank you! It definitely needs some work on the state machine. As for the crash - it shouldn’t be happening. However, there’s a known bug in this specific Unity version where, on DirectX devices, the game starts leaking memory after a while. Maybe your PC doesn’t support Vulkan, so the game defaulted to DirectX?
@floriancohen @torte478 @baluj Thank you for your kind words!
@avhatar Yeah, I already know where the bug is in the code. As soon as the jam ends, I’ll fix the characters’ behavior. Although, to be honest, if I lived on a giant cube, I’d probably spend a lot of time just staring into the abyss from its edge too.
@wisstopher Thanks a lot!
@notime4games That's strange. Pretty much standard Unity build. And it was made with the fresh version, patched for the vulnerability they discovered recently. VirusTotal shows all the green checkmarks when checking the entire archive.
@bangkerpow @yvanor Thanks a lot! Rework on the state machine is planned already.
@frank-gevaerts Thank you! I'm not very familiar with Linux systems for games - does it use Vulkan by default? There's a bug in this particular Unity version that causes a memory leak on DirectX systems. I only caught it pretty late and ended up spending the last hours of the jam trying to figure out what was going on, so that might have been the cause. The game itself should be fairly light on the graphics side.
@tanis Thank you! Demons are spawns of chaos, of course you can’t predict them! Ha-ha!
@franciscorp Thanks a lot!
That’s pretty much exactly how I imagined a cyber-universe! The graphics are absolutely top-tier! At first, I wasn’t sure what to do, but after a few missions, I successfully looted a ton of gear—though I have no idea what to do with it afterward!
Also… is there any way to get rid of that 123-gigabyte virus without switching to Linux?
A nice, relaxing game! The controls felt a bit clunky at first, but once I got the hang of them, I had a lovely couple of minutes soaring around the area. And the music is fantastic!
Wow! I definitely wasn’t expecting to stumble upon a masterpiece when I clicked on a post with no description or screenshots. This is a seriously cool and polished game. great sound, fantastic visuals, everything’s on point! The gameplay is a bit repetitive, but hey, that’s just the nature of the genre. Amazing work!
"Mini Motorways, but with death" is a fantastic elevator pitch! The game itself could use a bit more polishing, but it's already fun to watch the chaos unfold on the roads. I hope you'll be able to release a post-jam version—this idea is truly brilliant, and I'd definitely buy this game.
A very cute and relaxing game. It was fun to recall all the different gestures. The mechanic seems simple, yet for some reason I can’t think of anything similar in existing games. The hand is beautifully drawn - take notes, young artists!
Such an atmospheric and immersive experience! The slightly tricky rover controls actually add to the mood. The graphics and sound design are fantastic, I really enjoyed it!
Okay, the concept really works and is genuinely interesting. Though it could use a few more hints in some places. At first, I was just pressing E on graves, thinking that was all there was to it, and kept wondering why everything was empty. Later, I realized I actually needed to dig with the shovel. And only after unearthing every grave and collecting my $3,000 did I discover that items could be used for bonuses. That was probably mentioned in the initial instructions, but I didn’t pay it much attention.
I have to say, the core concept is awesome. The tension of quietly digging through graves while hearing guards nearby and not being able to raise the camera really gets your nerves going. On the other hand, it would be great if the difficulty ramped up more gradually and the guards weren’t quite so blind. Overall, it’s a great game. Congratulations!
Great one! I really love the overall tone - the absurdity of a meaningless job you spend your life on. And the ending is just perfect. A wonderful and thought-provoking game. Congrats!
Such a fun experience! I really love your character modeling style - it’s cool and unique. The game itself was a bit tricky when it came to navigating the hallway and getting through the door, but once I finally made it, I became a millionaire. Hooray!
A very cute and relaxing city-builder. I really liked the visuals. It feels like it’s missing some satisfying interactions and impact. animations and sound effects when placing resources, constructing buildings, and so on would really help bring it to life.
Impressive work! Such a large level and so many different assets! I managed to reach the end - though I noticed the cornfields have no colliders, which actually saved me some time. This game really needs a Windows build, because the HTML5 version doesn’t go full screen properly and starts lagging badly at some point. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful game!
Great game! It’s not entirely clear what you’re supposed to do, but that graphics style - wow! I’ve always admired people who can pull off that punkish lo-fi aesthetic. Congratulations!
Interesting concept and well executed. The cats are cute, the gameplay is enjoyable, and it’s a great puzzle game—even if it’s a bit on the slow side.
I really like the style. The idea of feeding your lantern to keep it from going out is interesting, but it lacks a real sense of risk - as far as I could tell, the mummies aren’t particularly dangerous. Is the dungeon looped? It feels endless. Great work!
An absolutely stunning game. I reached the end and can confidently say that, emotionally, it’s the most impressive experience I’ve had at this jam so far. The visuals are beautiful, it’s hard to believe something this gorgeous, including models and textures, could be created in just 48 hours. Excellent work!
Great idea! The claw’s physics feel a bit odd, but it actually works. it even drops its loot just like real ones do!
Wow! That’s something! Such a cool and bizarre concept, brilliantly executed. Everything leans into that nightmare feeling where nothing makes sense and you can’t explain a thing. Great game! Congrats!
It's a pretty simple yet engaging game. Maybe it's just me after 48 hours of intense work, but I feel like a version without the timer would be nice. I scored 85 points, but those ticking seconds really wore me out. The sounds are fantastic! Marbles feel like the perfect object for this kind of tactile, sound-focused game.
I love any games involving hexes - it's rare to come across a truly fresh mechanic. You've managed to create something original. at least, the idea of connecting the main landmass to distant tiles feels unusual and intriguing. It would definitely be worth developing this concept into a full-fledged puzzle game.
The idea is fantastic - combining tower defense with an idle game! Watching the towers shoot ants is surprisingly satisfying. Right now, though, it really needs more visual feedback: things like shot timers, tower levels, upgrade costs, etc. I also found a bug - if you finish the game, you can’t exit from the menu and have to restart the whole thing. Fix those issues, and this could easily become a really solid idle game!
Cool idea! Catching coins is tough, I managed to last about eight levels.
Great concept - it could totally blossom into a cool roguelike! The only issue is the dash mechanic, it’s pretty glitchy. I keep phasing through walls and falling off the map
So many delightful details! The balls bouncing around the machine, buttons that respond to presses, and the satisfying physics - all great touches. The visuals are top-notch! It could really use some visual indicators for effect timers, especially when multiple effects are active at once - that would look amazing. Overall, it turned out to be a great game.
I'm a sucker for artsy games, and this one scratches the itch well enough. I really like the concept of coloring a black-and-white world while uncovering memories. That said, I think it could benefit from more inner conflict and emotional depth to truly land. For example: I looked at the suitcase or the painting — but was the memory powerful enough? Why had I forgotten it in the first place?
Overall, it’s a great concept that might just need a bit more refinement. I really admire your determination to bring something soulful into the world - and thank you for that! Also, the sound design does a wonderful job of setting the right mood.
I really like the art style - it’s clear what you were going for. It’s a shame there wasn’t enough time to finish everything. The web version is a bit glitchy, you can’t rotate the camera with the mouse. The Windows version, on the other hand, works perfectly.
Really interesting game! I never quite figured out how to use the ability, and I couldn’t beat the fight against the three enemies - but I absolutely loved the core concept of collecting and equipping souls. That part was brilliantly done!
Honestly, I didn’t quite figure out what to feed it besides the mustache - but I had a lot of fun running around that cool tower. The environment is really well done!
Probably the most polished game I’ve seen at the jam. Clear tutorial, pleasant animations and sound design. Overall, it’s engaging to play - adding a variety of maps would make it even better. Good work!
My dreadnought is freaking unstoppable! Such a cool idea - it reminded me of the board game Galaxy Truckers, but with dynamic, action-packed battles. If you add a bit more impact, sound effects, and those little juicy details, it’ll become a truly awesome and original game!
I really enjoyed it. the game turned out to be super addictive! At first, it wasn’t entirely clear what was going on, but then it became fun to hunt for constellations, especially since the whole process feels so satisfying, thanks to the great voiceover and smooth animations. Excellent game - congratulations!
That’s such a cool idea! With a bit more polish, it could easily become a worthy successor to Peglin. I managed to beat all the levels - even the one with 200 fruits. So when robots take over our jobs, I guess I can always become a professional apple picker! Great game!
I got a bit confused - what should I do after finding the graveyard? I ran around everywhere but couldn’t find anything else.
That said, the sheer variety of assets you’ve packed in here is seriously impressive for a 48-hour project! If you made them all from scratch, huge congrats - that’s an awesome achievement.
The game itself has real potential to evolve into something truly intriguing. I’m a big fan of these mystical detective-style experiences!
Brilliant work! It could easily fit as a mind-bending puzzle in any Rusty Lake game. I made it to the end, though I had to peek at one hint in a video. Everything made perfect sense, It just didn’t click right away. Great game!
Nice visuals and fluid animation. The soundtrack should be on Spotify immediately! A solid entry, given the timeframe. I think it’s worth continuing to work on after the jam.
Interesting idea. The game is pretty simple and short. I kept expecting the red lamps to start moving and chasing you. It could add more suspense since the theme is light and darkness, and sometimes you should have to actively run from the darkness. Great game, thanks!
Cool idea. The game is challenging and beautiful. It takes a lot of trial and error to learn the route. I really like the post-processing and the great interference/glitch effect. Congratulations on an excellent game!
Interesting concept! The probes could use a bit more tuning - like battery charge, fuel, maybe even planet gravity. But overall it already plays well, and it feels fresh and unusual. This mechanic could totally work as a puzzle in something like Mass Effect 4. I really loved it!
Cool mechanic: the delayed action where you have to anticipate the turn in advance. Of course, if real traffic worked by these rules, I’d go insane. It can be frustrating in the game too and takes some time to get used to the controls, but as a concept it’s interesting and it works.
This is amazing! This game has everything I love: point-and-click, Lovecraftian horror, and gorgeous pixel art. The final image is absolutely mind-blowing! Congratulations, this is a phenomenal game!
Cool idea. It really needs sound, and it also needs more levels. It ended way too quickly, so I hope you can expand it after the jam. I really enjoyed it!
s an idea, it’s really cool. But in its current state, it doesn’t feel fully playable yet. It’s very hard to understand the rules behind how the values change in the building next to the antenna. I also couldn’t get the signal across the river at all, since every house there had zero people.
If you add some visual hints that clearly communicate what changes and why, you could develop this into a genuinely interesting full puzzle game, or even a strategy game. Also, the graphics are really pleasant.
I have saved the realm! Great concept and solid execution. I love how the locations change, and with them the music changes too, and the tension keeps rising. This could easily be a mechanic in a larger medieval RPG: sitting atop a tower, scanning the horizon, with the fate of the kingdom depending on how attentive you are. Great game!
A very cool idea that’s worth digging into deeper. It could become a really deep puzzle game. Right now, some levels feel a bit too brute-force, instead of giving you that “aha!” moment. But even so, the game feels very fresh. Great work, congratulations!
Hey! I remember you from the last jam. You make great greybox levels with interesting mechanics, and I recognized your style right away. I enjoyed it and I finished the game.
The “signal gun” is an interesting concept, although I’d like a bit more pressure from enemies while you’re tuning the frequency. There were a few moments where I got stuck and didn’t understand what to do next. It felt like the tutorial could lean a bit more into “show, don’t tell.”
One example I can recall right away is the levers you have to press multiple times. I got stuck at the first door like that, because I thought I had to sprint between them quickly. And in the final boss fight, it made sense to use the cannon, but for it to work I had to get right up close to the boss. At first I was afraid to do that and assumed there was a hidden door somewhere.
But those are just nitpicks. As always, you made a great game with an original mechanic. Congrats!
Wow, you made a really cool game. It wasn’t entirely clear to me what all the AM/FM scales meant, but overall it was fun to play. I ran into a bug where the room didn’t open after I killed all the enemies, so I didn’t make it to the red boss. Still, everything is great: the pacing, the visuals, the music...
A small friendly reminder: according to the jam rules, you need to play and comment on other participants’ games to receive ratings for your own game.
Now I get what the Artemis mission was doing on the far side of the Moon. Now I want to go there too! A very funny, but unforgiving game. The “No Hot Chicks Heaven” level took me about ten tries, and I was already about to write an angry comment saying I’d been tricked and never got any hot chicks. But the ending put everything in its place. Great game with a strong sense of humor.
Wow! Great idea and execution. The mechanic really does feel new, unusual, and fresh. It’s fun to play, but it seems like the parameters could use some tuning. When the devices get right up close, there isn’t much you can do. Still, the game is excellent. The graphics and sound are great, and even the upgrades feel well thought out. It’s impressively polished overall.
One question remains: why is the whale fighting electronics?
Wow! What an amazing game! The design is absolutely mind-blowing! The mechanics are really well balanced, although sometimes you end up in a situation where you simply can’t win with the cards you have. But that’s just luck. Congratulations on a great game!
The guys really live in conditions like this and don’t see anything wrong with it... I immediately wanted this game on Steam, with different situations, ships, station malfunctions, and so on. I’ve wanted to role-play as a Babylon 5 dispatcher for a long time.
It’s a really cool idea to have the visuals change as your combo builds up. If you keep developing it, you could start with a simple line and gradually build up to a super elaborate 3D immersive music visualizer by the end. Great work!
Stunningly beautiful game. I made it to the end, but even without the finale, it’s still incredibly captivating. Very atmospheric.
Awesome game! I loved all the little touches, like showing the extra lives on the capes. And I’m really curious about the semaphore signals too. They look like they actually mean something.
I couldn’t make it to the end, though. I gave it like ten tries. Those other riders feel like they’re cheating!
Also, it took me a bit to realize the left button hits to the right and the right button hits to the left. The animations are pretty similar, so it wasn’t obvious at first.
But yeah, overall it’s a really fun game. Great idea and the visuals are super cool.
Great game, and the movement feels really good. It’s not particularly difficult, so you could probably add more puzzles using the grappling hook. But as a meditative journey, it works wonderfully. The sound design is excellent!
Wow, what a cool game! A complex cyberpunk story disguised as a puzzle. The idea of the increasing delay is great, and it feels like you could add a couple more levels where it really matters. Also, this game really needs sound. The visuals are so strong, with all the post-processing, nice textures, and effects, that they deserve matching audio. Great work, congratulations!
Great idea and solid implementation of the mechanics. It was fun hunting for treasure until I fell through the map. I also like that the battery doesn’t run out. With extra micromanagement, it wouldn’t be as fun to play. If you add more atmosphere, like sea sounds and the detector’s beeping, it’ll be even better!
You guys are amazing! The game feels extremely polished and immersive, and most importantly, it’s genuinely fun to play, which is rare for a jam. The atmosphere is thick, the sound design is excellent, and the implied story is really intriguing.
I upgraded almost every branch before I ran into a game-breaking bug: while I was buying an upgrade, a guardian jumped on me. The shop UI got stuck on the screen, while the character left the buying state, and after that I couldn’t enter the shop state again. Please fix it. I really want to finish the game and see how the story ends.
Thanks for such an awesome game!
@iluvatar @oddballdave Thanks!
@last-angle Thanks! I deliberately made the gun rigid and the bullets follow a ballistic trajectory, so the player has to aim by positioning the tank itself. To balance that, the bullets have some spread, so they fly a bit higher or lower each shot. But I understand the frustration. Maybe when you’re close to the enemy, the gun should fire slightly lower.
@nathmate Thanks. Yeah, I'm still learning how to use Cinemachine properly so the camera feels right. I agree, it's not there yet.
@captaindreamcast Congrats on your mission success! Thanks a lot!
Hidden gem! Really cool game, just a shame it’s so short. The sound and visuals are both great. The controls aren’t super convenient: the mouse keeps drifting onto my second monitor, but it’s manageable. Great work, congratulations!
Interesting game. I like the idea of positional audio that hints which direction to go. The enemies are annoying, but thankfully they’re easy to outrun. I collected all the beacons on my third try. And there’s procedural generation too! Great work!
It’s hard to beat Skynet in a Zhiga like this. The car controller feels clumsy. The robots feel a bit unfair. They go through walls and will chase you to the end. Just like in real life, you know. I also loved that after you finish the game, you can drive around the city and watch those a-holes burn. Great game!
Such a cool idea, and also a tough one to pull off. How do you make controlling something with that much lag actually fun? I like your approach: switching between ships and juggling control signals.
You could think about ways to make the game feel less punishing. Or maybe it’s mostly about atmosphere.
If you add screen shake and the rumble of explosions, plus bursts of static after ships are destroyed, it would make things more engaging and you’d start to perceive the lag as a real part of a dispatcher’s job. Great game, congratulations!
Interesting mechanic. The timer feels a bit too harsh. If you head in the wrong direction at the start, it’s hard to save the poor guy. It makes me want some upgrades or collectible artifacts that can, at least once, point you toward the best direction to dig. Overall, a great game.
Can't run the game. libgcc_s_seh-1.dll is missing.
Haha, this game is fantastic! What a ridiculously dangerous intersection. I haven’t laughed this hard in a while. Thank you!
At first it wasn’t totally clear how I was controlling the cars. Then it became obvious that it didn’t even matter.
The voice acting is top-notch!
A fun little game, and I especially liked the voice acting. It wasn’t immediately obvious what to do, but a curious mind will figure it out! Unfortunately, the shark swallowed the ball (I thought it would do something), so I couldn’t take it with me onto the ship. Great work!
Interesting concept. I never thought I’d end up playing an oscilloscope simulator. Hook coin payouts to the graph’s peaks and you’ve got an incremental game! I enjoyed it.
A pleasant, relaxing game. I really like that it has a day-night cycle. At first I thought the planet was spherical and I could wrap it with a chain of Power Nodes, but it turned out not to work that way, so I ended up covering the entire surface. It feels like the game could use a few more interaction mechanics. Also, it would be great to add animations to the objects so they’re fun to look at while rotating the globe. Still, a great game.
First of all - the atmosphere is great! I really dig the art style. The idea is neat. This could be a puzzle in a bigger game. The main issue I had was that no matter how I rotated the light, the rocks stay. There should be some kind of indicator (a beam, perhaps) to show where the light is aiming, for incapable, clumsy gamers like myself. I will try to beat it later though. Overall, a great entry!
I paid off my debts! Interesting game. Despite its simplicity, it’s really engaging. It made me want a bit more cognitive load. Maybe you could add tasks like inspecting something outside the train car, where there might be a stash, or similar little objectives. Or maybe a timer would help, not sure. Still, a great game.
Very cool idea. I enjoyed running around the house fixing routers. Sounds like a promising career path. The controls feel a bit clunky, though. When you’re fighting the timer and also fighting a camera that turns in a weird way, it gets frustrating. Still, I guess that’s exactly how Boston Dynamics robots must feel.
Great storytelling at the beginning. Really rich atmosphere. Like others have noted, there isn’t much action. On the other hand, maybe we don’t need action at all. We’re cruising underwater just fine!
Interesting idea. The graphics are beautiful, the models look great, and the music is wonderful. When the sea monster showed up, I thought, “Here we go, now it’s going to get really interesting,” but the game unexpectedly ended and kicked me back to the menu. A bit disappointing, I’d already started imagining gameplay where you have to guide ships between Cthulhu, a kraken, and a sea serpent. Still, great work, congratulations!
They keep dying. I guess I’m a bad doctor.
Congrats on your first game and your first jam! That’s a big achievement, especially since it turned out really well. The idea is great, but from a player’s perspective I’d like a few more hints about which way to move each parameter. It isn’t always obvious from the graphs.
If you add some sound effects and make the UI a bit more interesting, it could become a solid prototype.
One small friendly reminder: according to the jam rules, you need to play and comment on other participants’ games to receive ratings for your own game.
Cool idea, but it feels a bit undercooked in terms of gameplay. Basically, you just hold the right button and hope the car doesn’t flip over or get stuck in a pit. Maybe you could add some extra elements so the player has more agency. For example, like in rally games, you could give hints about the optimal speed on certain sections of the road.
I played a few times and unlocked the second track, but then I ran into a bug where the menu stopped working, so I can’t say how the other cars feel.
Overall, it’s a pleasant game: great visuals and music, the car feels fun to drive, and the suspension is top-notch. Also, having unlockable content like different tracks and cars is an impressive amount of work for Compo. Great job!
I’ve always been jealous of people who can come up with puzzles like these. It seems really hard to design a single intended solution and present it in a way that the player can figure out, but not immediately. I really liked the mechanics. They feel fresh and unusual. That said, level eight beat me. I’ll probably have to try again another time. Overall, a great game. Congratulations!
Great idea! It would be even cooler if, when the layout reshuffles, the block you’re currently in stayed locked in place while everything else changed. That would add another gameplay layer: finding a seed that moves you closer to the goal. Still, it’s a wonderful game. The visuals and sound are on point, and the procedural buildings are fantastic!
Interesting concept. It immediately sparks a bunch of ideas for how to expand it by adding new commands. It’s a shame there isn’t more content. I’d love to see more levels and objects. You could add redirecting ramps, portals, and so on. Still, it’s a great game, and the music is wonderful!
Great game concept. My only complaint is that controlling it with the mouse wheel gets tiring quickly, and my finger starts to hurt. It would be worth coming up with a more ergonomic option. Otherwise, everything is great: the story, the atmosphere, and the art style.
I didn’t fully understand how to tune the frequencies correctly, but luckily that didn’t stop me from reading the message. I also wasn’t sure if there are other endings, or if it was possible to prevent the group’s death.
There’s so much interesting stuff here. I hope you’ll be able to make an expanded version of the game after the jam.
Hey, there is something funny about the Itch.io page: Our system has flagged this page for additional review due to potential suspicious behavior from the page owner.
This is a tightly crafted horror game. The sense of uncertainty, the darkness, the scary sounds, the grungy style, and even visual glitches like Z-fighting keep you on edge.
I tried running through the game a few times, but I still couldn’t figure out where to go after getting the signal. I managed to collect a few messages and ended up concluding there’s no way out, and that your “friend” has trapped you in an endless loop. That’s probably not true, but it’s too scary to replay.
Great game, congratulations!
