Philosophy on Rails: An Introduction to the Western Canon by mmason 2020-10-05T23:30:14Z
I enjoy how the philosophy starts going 'off the rails' into absurd statements.

The music be bumpin
Frustration-inducing is a good term, and used in a good way, but the floaty jumps and ability to stick to walls help deter that. The controls really make this work and allow you to have fun in the stressful environment. The only thing I'd suggest is the zone that the camera has to be into move to the next room could be pushed back, as I found myself dying a lot in level 2 because I couldn't see the laser I was running into
Very nice looking. Super sleek and polished, with challenging and intuitive puzzles to boot! One of the best this jam imo.
I got stuck on the 6th level where I couldn't get out of the two teleporters on the moving ground.
Very nice art style and feel. Sometimes the hitbox for the attack felt off and I wasn't really sure what the upgrades did, but overall pretty fun and cool.
Pretty cool! I like how the portals/edges force you to think outside the box in how to hit stuff indirectly, I would've liked to see more done with how the lasers can loop around the edges of the screen too. The sound could also be boosted a bit. Overall pretty nice and cool graphics!
I really like the logic gate style puzzles and honestly wish there were more. I was a bit surprised when the game ended as I was wanting to see more.
I think it might be good to zoom the camera out a bit and decrease the projectile size of some of the enemies.
I love the actual minigames and the sense of stress it gives the player, who is ironically trying to prevent stress. However I was unable to complete all tasks in a single day which I expect is just my fault. Nonetheless, it is fun and a cool spin to the theme.
I'm a sucker for narrative games, and the card system paired with the writing is just superb. I love the atmosphere of it.
This feels a lot like Minit in a very good way. I really enjoy how the progression felt, as each loop you're able to get just a bit closet to the goal. Its also a big longer than I expected, and with the boxes and jump pads it had lot of variety. I also like the little guy's walk cycle.
I really like the art style, but I found that when I died I was just returned to full health, not really 'returned to square one' which I assume means the start of the level
Seconding what others have said a tutorial would be really helpful but nonetheless pretty unique and cool.
There's always something that goes wrong, I'll see to those bugs @kruemelkeksfan!
@dxk2294 Thanks for letting me know. Its fixed now, sorry about that.
@zepimppotatoe Thanks for the kind words. Honestly I didn't have the time for graphics but if I work on this after the game jam I'll definitely invest time into the visuals. In the meantime I did patch out those bugs you experienced!
A short cute game. I enjoy the graphics and music. I think that if the keys you have to press were randomized after each move it would be neat as you can't rely on muscle memory after the first time going around.
I really like the humor and writing in this! I looped twice, and was honestly expecting to be looped more, but I enjoyed the quirky puzzle solving in this!
