I liked it, cute little game, great art, and stellar sound design. It got its point across!

I liked it, cute little game, great art, and stellar sound design. It got its point across!
Incredibly fun little game. Stunning atmosphere!
Very cute tower defense game, it has rough edges, it feels a bit like the core mechanic wasn't finished, but thats what happens with game jams! Whats there, is pretty nice.
Great mechanics, a bit rough around the edges. Shooting while accelerating is hard.
@devastus Thank you. I think I fixed the issue now in v1.2. It will remain forever in the jam version though.
Very fun game, nice graphics. I do recommend.
This is a very fun idea executed well. Great work. Some rough edges (especially concerning Text sizing and placement), but incredibly fun.
Really nice labyrinth game, nicely made. The sound is a bit loud though, maybe turn it down a little by default.
What it does it does well, great job!
Very cool and a lot of fun. Thanks for submitting to my stream :v:
Thanks for submitting to my stream  Nice little game
Congrats on 2nd place!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Heya. I've created this game as a workshop download for Tabletop Simulator: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2624372080 For convenience reasons this might be easier for people to play. If you want me to take it down, I will do so. I originally created it for myself to test it, but thought it might be nice to upload it to workshop for other people to use my finished version.
@saidrog @nikolas-simpfendorfer @mrbell270 @shores Any not stopping white noise sounds you may have experienced should be fixed in the new version I just uploaded. There is also a new "Skip Introduction" checkbox in the main menu in case you dont want to hear the tutorial again. Thank you for reporting these bugs and thank you for playing
@jesper-fyhr-knudsen I made it harder to use that exploit in the new version in case you want to try again :v: There is a "Skip Introduction" checkbox in the main menu now in case you don't want to hear the tutorial again. Thanks for reporting this.
@rein @saidrog @raph-gi @saidrog @maxathon @der-mondhase @micheleleva @fre @amikatag @erikengineengineer @mrbell270 @gat Thank you all for all the positive feedback . Thanks to you I have started considering expanding on this idea. In case I really do decide to do something more with this, I want to be able to notify you all. So I have setup a mailing list. Maybe I will never use it, but just in case I decide to do something with this idea, you will be the first to know. This is the link to subscribe to that mailing list: https://russianconnect.substack.com/
Thanks again you all.
@tuile Thanks for your feedback, I am already considering how I will make the difference between Evaluation and Showtime more clear. :white_check_mark: If you want to stay in the loop, about a possible continuation of the idea you can subscribe to the new :mailbox_with_mail: newsletter I setup for this exact purpose: https://russianconnect.substack.com
Thank you for your offer to help. Since nothing is clear and I am first finding out how much interest there really is (via signups for the newsletter for example) - I am not sure how I will continue with this. But maybe I will come back to your offer.
Very fun and charming take on the theme. Thanks for submitting my stream. :v:
I liked this a lot. The idea was fun and I enjoyed the style of the dialog a lot. Even though I felt the timer in the last level was a strange way to add tension to the game, I overall enjoyed the experience a lot.
Thanks for submitting to my stream! WHERE IS THE DOOR??!
Interesting take on the theme. Couldn't manage to win the game though, my spendings were to ambitious.
Very chill game, really loved the music. It gave me a little place of repose inbetween more intense games. Nice job!
I really loved this. It has a very unique handwriting, that screams that it could have only been made by one specific person, that person being you. Really unique experience!
That is just great, haha
Very, very cool. The amount of polish in sound and animation is incredible and really sells the whole game!
Very nice looking black hole shader, I liked the super hero reference and the whole idea.
Very stressful, but great audio design, great fit for the theme, nice gba-style graphicsc. I wish the icons where just the treatment thats needed, because I got tiny brain and I was overwhelmed asociating the illness symbol with the right treatment under stress.
Always great to see NES emulated games in this jam! It makes it special.
Very nice throwback to the early games of city simulator graphcs, I really liked them. Pretty fun, especially I think for people that played those early titles.
Cute little game! Loved the music and art, and the concept of the sand rising. In my opinion you could increase the sand rising speed a bit to make these pots more worth their effort. Thank you for submitting it to my stream!
Very cool. Impressed with amount of assets you were able to create in the time you hade. Cool entry!
Some polishing issues aside, a very fun experience and a nice fit for the theme!
Very funny! "The Bride started chasing you"
Nice graphics! The shooting felt nice, good inclusion of mouse sensitivity setting. Only a bit of hit feedback on the enemies would be nice, so that I know when I actually hit them! Overall, a nice entry!
Thank you for submitting it to my stream! Cute little game that would have really benefitted from some chill music but was fun nonetheless!
I really liked the story, loved all the routes (and jokes) I could take pretty far. Great work, my friend!
Very nice game. I enjoyed it a lot, even though I am bad at quick time events.
The pathfinding seems a bit off and the UI needs a bit of work (Selecting the units one by one just to upgrade them is not really feasible), but great idea, nice graphics and music and a good fit for the theme overall. Thank you for submitting it to my stream.
Didn't get far since I have a QUERTZ keyboard, but what I saw was very cool. Thank you for submitting this to my stream!
Was a bit on the easy side, but scored a lot of points with its charme and graphics and the parody aspect of it all. Great entry!
Really fun and innovative concept, loved the double jump and the randomness of it all.
Wow! Im just wowed by what you did in 72 hours. Really amazing stuff!
Cute little puzzle game that I really enjoy. Loved it! Thank you for submitting it to my stream.
Very nice. Really enganging story. I will come back to finish this after I am done streaming.
Very fun little game. The cannon targetting, bounce effects and screenshake made it feel quite polished!
I love this so much! Yay for "The result of making an entire game based on a pun".
Really fun idea, hindered a bit by the execution. The white line and the tolerance there definitely needs to be bigger.
I didn't know how to progress, but graphics look nice though.
Thank you for submitting to my stream! What a fun game and a neat concept for the theme! I really liked it. I especially enjoyed the art - the pose of the boss firing you is badass and reminded me of one of my favorite Animes.
Really innovative take on the theme! Definetly a diamond in the rough. Thank you for submitting it to my stream!
What a great game again, Tygrak! I wanted to play yours since I enjoyed the one you submitted last year so much! So I played it on stream again, because I didn't know if you would be around. You can check out the VOD here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1618415398 Its literally the first game I play.
What a nice introduction to VASM. Lacked a bit of polish though. For example it was not immediately obvious which parts of the instruction i could change. The changable parts blend in with the background color - maybe you could highlight those in a different color! But overall pretty neat and a nice fit for the theme!
Neat entry, even though I felt the jump n run controls felt "floaty" if you know what I mean. But nice concept and good incoporation of a leaderboard. Thank you for submitting to my stream! :smirk:
What a cute little game! Was a lot of fun. Was a bit sad when it was over so fast. Great job!
Great great game! Astonishing what you accomplished here! Really loved it, also very polished feeling. Thank you for submitting it to my stream!
Nice game with an arcadey feel, always nice to see NES roms in the ludum dare.
Really nice game. The inspiration from Papers Please shines through every cravice.
Cool little platformer! Fell in love with my little hiccupy guy! Thank you for submitting to my stream! Coolio. :smirk:
I cannot believe you did this. Absolute madlad. :smirk:
Thank you for submitting this to my stream! I was very impressed by the graphics you managed to produce in the time you had, also nice incorporation of the theme. I just felt that some of the enemies were a bit bullet spongey - and could have died in a bit fewer hits. But overall great entry!
Very interesting game. Thank you for submitting it to my stream. I will be getting back into it at the beginning of my next stream. Hopefully finally using that journal mechanic. :smirk:
Definetely interesting! Very experimental. Felt a bit to figure out what was actually the point on my own. Still interesting. Thank you for submitting it to my stream!
Thank you for submitting this to my stream! What a nice experience, there were obviously some minor gripes you could fix - like more feedback on the boss, but I get that the deadline makes this immensily difficult. Great gem nonetheless.
Cool entry, nice fit for the theme! Having said that, I felt it a bit strange that I could be trapped in a state where I could not do anything about the notifications and had to wait for the Game Over State. Maybe make that a bit quicker, if you decide to improve this later! Also "Über den Wolken" is a nice inclusion even though I'll probably lose my twitch channel over it now.
Fun little puzzler! Got stuck on the third level for a long while.
Cool little game! Figured out level 2 and level 4, but got stuck on level 1 and level 3. Thank you for submitting it to my stream! Nice entry.
Quite fun! Unique concept, but felt kinda unfinished unfortunately.
Very artistic game! Liked the feeling that was built up! Thanks for submitting it to my stream.
Cute little game! I liked the ending a lot - it came very surprising! Nice entry.
Very cool experience! The soundtrack was quite chill, I liked that you had a second song for tense situations. The art was very nice and polished. I felt that their remained some unresolved plot threads though. Overall great submission from your team!
Thank you for submitting to my stream! Nice "Finding Waldo"-type game, the graphics were amazing. I really respect the amount of different faces you got out of limited assets. Very nice!
Thank you for submitting to my stream. The balancing seems a bit off, some rockets do a lot of damage and there seems to be no recovery from being hurt if you have not harvested anything that run, so basically you're locked into a lose state without being able to recover from it. The art is cute, The idea is innovative, but there is some friction with the execution of the idea.
Thanks for submitting! Interesting choie to make an NES game in this jam. Really liked the game, even though I am bad at it. :v:
Thanks for submitting it to my stream! Impressive what you achieved in the art and audio department in the alloted time.
Thank you for subbmitting to my stream! There seem to be some input issues to be ironed out, but pretty fun idea nonetheless! :v:
Unfortunately I experience a crash with the windows version of this game. I've posted the crash.log file here that shows up in the directory after the crash if you want to take a look: https://hastebin.com/share/tacacoyavo.csharp
Heya mate, really cool concept. The worms were cool and I liked the ending :v: All of your entries are quality, though I thought it lacked a bit of the challenge of your previous entries. I liked the music, the whole atmosphere and the worm "behavior". Sorry, that I did not play it on stream this time, but at least I was still able to give it a rating in time. :v:
Thanks for submitting. Some audio would have gone a long way, but it felt pretty responsive and amazing nonetheless.
Thank you for submitting this to my stream! The scale of the game is impressive, I don't think I have seen everything there is to it. Though Im not particularly sure about the difficulty curve, some tweaking might make it closer to perfect.
Thanks for submitting! Very cute and fun! Loved it.
Thank you for submitting to my stream! After dying after the second package... I just did not have it in me anymore. Which means you succeeded in making me rage quit.
Thank you for submitting to my stream! The art was amazing and the premise interesting. Graphically it reminded me of Darkest Dungeon a bit. Also the "You are maidenless..." is a nice inclusion. :green_heart:
On the easy side, but very cool! Liked it a lot. Alwys "in the dark forest"
Very fun idea with pretty whacky GodotPhysics
Heya! I played this on stream just now, sorry for not waiting for you to show up, but unfortunately I can't quite stream as often as I'd like this time. You can look at the VOD here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1949239231?t=01h55m59s
Great game as always! Was quite surprised to see the Godot loading bar this time, you can see it in my reaction on stream. I really would like to know how you always come up with these ideas, everyone of them fits the theme perfectly and the graphical effect when the tiles would spawn in also fascinates me. (Tiny comment: The ending felt quite abrupt in the end, but I realize time constraints might have played a part in that.) Great stuff!
Definetely an interesting game. I liked the upgrade progression a lot. Thank you for submitting to my stream. :v:
Thank you for submitting to my stream! Looks cool, unfortunate that I had a lot of input delay. :sob:
Very funny entry. Thanks for submitting it to my stream!
Very cool game! The visuals and the audio interacting in the way that they did was really really .
Fun concept, definitely on theme. Could be improved in some ways, for example: varying the ghosts pattern. My arm was quite tired after playing this.
Have never seen a game that controls like this  Wow, for innovation.
Thank you for submitting to my stream! Cool graphics and cool concept!
Really, really cool looking, aesthetically pleasing game. Really wondering how you achieved those visual in Godot
Thank you for submitting this game to my stream! Really nice job with the artwork and audio!
Thank you for submitting! The idea is interesting, maybe there is more than can be done with it!
Great little game! Had fun, got it on my second try. Thanks for submitting!
I think I dont get this game.
Fun, cool innovative concept. Also liked the art style of the tentacles.
Nice and fun little game. Liked these worshipper guys, their dialogue was funny.
The ending  We took his :red_car:
Stylish. Great visuals and sound design!
Pretty fun -- even though a bit more polish would have gone a long way to making it *pop* more.
The art is nice, but too hard for me
Art was nice, but too hard for me: Died a lot and got frustrated unfortunately. Really interestig concept for the theme tho. :v:
You got a lot done in a short timeframe. Incredible!
Really cute little adventure, liked the zoom idea.
Very interesting feel. Liked it a lot. Very existential. Played it on stream! Heres the VOD in case you are interested. (Your game starts roughly 1m35s into the video): https://youtu.be/xb6qFs9kJPE?si=4NsmjTNrUw-rWPpB&t=95
Liked the art, the smooth camera transitions while entering a new level and the concept. Kinda reminds me of a specific Professor Layton minigame that also required you to lay tracks. In comparision to that minigame I found the interface kinda clunky in this, there has to be a better way to switch between the different track types. I liked that there were many possible solutions to the puzzles I played.
Did not really get the game. But interesting nonetheless. Maybe you could have required every city to be visited then it would be like a "travelling salesman problem" from computer science.
Camera didn't really follow the character, music was repetive. Liked the snake jumping though.
Thank you for submitting to my stream! The VOD of the stream is here in case you are interested: (I start playing your game at roughly 1h39m): https://youtu.be/xb6qFs9kJPE?si=sACqaH8g9qNAT_IA&t=5956
Cool concept. No ending, but liked what was there.
Music and art are impecable. Text speed could be sped up a bit though. Liked the overall vibe.
Cute game. Definitely would have profitted from some music though. Was not sure which postmark belonged in which "pack". In any case, interesting application of the theme.
Really fun. New take on this sort of incremental upgrade game. Liked it.
I don't know if I am the problen, but I was not able to "find the game". Basically was just running around amimlessly. Looks and sound very cool tho.
Thank you for submitting this game to my stream! Very cute and polished, impressive dialogue system and lots of impressive art in this game. The VOD for the stream is here: (I start playing your game roughly 52min38s into the video) https://youtu.be/xb6qFs9kJPE?si=ZphzdfcfrU4v46An&t=3158
Very cute artstyle.
Interesting (and innovative) way to present the dialogue "tree". I played it on my stream, liked it. Heres the VOD in case you are interested (I start playing your game at roughly 32min32s into the video):
https://youtu.be/xb6qFs9kJPE?si=dk8AEmTpL2De65lM&t=1943
It was honestly super cool and has huge potential, something like stronghold crusader voice lines would 5x the humor.
I liked the music and the vibes. Very chill. Bit sad that I can't decide what is colored what. Liked it for what it was though.
Thank you for submitting to my stream! Great character design! :D
Heres the VOD of the stream in case you are interested. (Your game starts at 17m25s into the video): https://youtu.be/xb6qFs9kJPE?si=UbAgOojeqsWxHKLK&t=1045
Ragequit lol.
Loved the mood and music, but Bumk please stop bringing me more pots. I need seeds! Seeeds!
The Art looks really cute and the animation is smooth. I believe I got all the cards but I doesn't show me that I won tho.
How did you get the project to look like this in 3 days? How many artists did you have on your team?
Cool mini games, was not able to beat the third one and that comes from someone who was able to beat dark knight in 5 tries and less than 30 minutes.
what the...
Deeply interesting and insightful. Kinda poetic even. I loved it again, Tygrak.
Insane work, really fun!
Definitely interesting. Very on theme and pretty polished graphically for this short amount of time. Liked the sounds and the feedback (squash and stretch) on the images while cleaning them. I did not get beyond the second level though. Did not get what I was categorizing there with categories such as 0, 2, 4 and Many... The amount of animals? But a lot of the pictures only had 1 on them and there was no category for that? Did I misunderstand something there?
After I figured out what is doing, this was very cool! Very innovative approach on the theme.
Interesting match-game. Someone who is not me would have much fun with it. Quite long for a jam game.
Did not figure out what to do, but could definetely see that a lot of work went into this
The game concept is really intriguing. I like the dice mechanics. Took me a while to figure out that I could hover the moon to see the multipliers - Maybe its worth repeating those on this jam page? The artworks are really pretty! Some animations when the enemy hits you would have been nice, since as it is I kinda didn't notice at first that I was losing HP, but I understand very well from personal experience that its hectic at the end of a game jam and you don't have time for all the finishing touches. Really interesting iteration of this sort of Slay the Spire-like design. Really cool and very pretty to look at!
Another fellow train game submitter! From :flag_de: as well! :v: Unfortunately I did not really *get* this game. The trains just show up whenever and you don't have any indication where they are supposed to be going without looking at the table in the top right and until I have figured that out the train has already almost reached its destination- So... maybe I just have a slow reaction time, but I did not really figure out how to do this. Skill issue maybe.
