Very nice graphics, simple and effective controls and fun levels that become chalenging after a while. The music isn't too distracting, which is nice.
Very pretty, definitely looks like a lot of work ! Good job :)
The game looks beautiful ,from the models to the UI, including the FX trail. Great job, definitely one of the best I've tried!
This is really good, awesome storytelling. It reminds me of This War Of Mine
The art looks awesome, love the glowing materials. The gameplay is simple yet efficient and the physics are accurate.
@simonhutchinson Fixed, I was at work before, the ausio definitely suits the game! Good job!
Very fun! It's nice to see something with an original story like this! Good job
It's really pretty and has a very polished and finished feel to it, this is an amazing product, even more so considering it was made in only 72 hours!
I love the art style ! The UI could have used a little more work, but it's just a detail, the game is really nice to play.
This is art in its purest state. Okay no but seriously it's fun, give it a try.
The music is really good, graphics are lovely, I particularly like the way the dancefloor changes colour. It's pretty difficult to get it right but still fun!
It's pretty good ! It definitely fits in the theme and becomes challenging once you have saws flying over the map and your escape way is blocked by fire. Good job!
This is one of the games with the strongest atmosphere, it feels really intriguing and makes you want to explore further. The graphics and audio work great together to convey the feelings.
This is really simple and nice! I like the fact that the different actions appear after each other makes it easy to start!
This is such a beautiful game, the art is amazing. The gameplay could use some work to make it more diversified. The music is nice too! One of my favourite Jam entries.
That was a fun little game, I made it to the end after a few tries by not eating any cheese. The sounds were really nice and I liked that eating cheese actually made the mouse fatter!
A fun little game, the glue definitely is a good way to fit in the theme!
I love the graphics ! The lighting looks really nice too. It definitely suits the theme! Only thing I would change is the UI font, but it's very minor.
Very fun game playing on a sensitive subject. Only little flaw is the action can sometimes look a bit confused, but it's definitely a cool game.
Really, really nice work! It's of the submissions I've tried that I surprised myself playing longer than most, the graphics are simple and so is the music but the gameplay feels really nice and I love how the difficulty scales progressively. Very nice submission!
Hahaha, more than a game, a transcendental experience into modern America. Good job.
This is a really nice game ! I particularly like that you'll always get a counterpart to your new ability when you level up. It's impressive when you think it's all been done in 72 hours.
Pretty fun, although the score text and numbers aren't next to each other.
Really nice game, it can get difficult to balance everything out, and I like the multiple choice dialogues with different consequences. Even more impressive when you know it only took 20 hours. Good job!
The art is really pretty! I would recommend you tweak the animation/movement a little as the character kind of "jumps" at the begining of the movement, which makes it more difficult to be accurate and to get the ropes. Apart from that the gameplay is very nice, and the music is simple but of good quality. Nice humour touches too.
@oxrock That's very true, I wish I thought of adding a button after the end screen. Thank you for playing !
@simonhutchinson Thank you ! It was my first Ludum Dare and I absolutely didn't think of integrating a retry button. As for the music, I'm going to practice for the next event! Thank you a lot for playing!
@seano Thank you a lot! As a non native English speaker I didn't realize rythm could be a problem, I will definitely keep that in mind in the future. Thank you for trying the game!
Thank you a lot for playing! Yeah I wish I had more time to tweak the controls and music
@djeycreations Thank you for trying it out! I'm definitely going to practice my music skills for the next Jam :)
This is a really nice game, that fits the theme greatly. I really like the art and the overall look with the post processing.
I love this game! It's really fun to add features and also allows to gradually increase the difficulty without having to learn all the controls at the same time. The art is nice and the music as well. Also the sounds (like the sword whizz or the footsteps) are of good quality. Humour is on point.
I like your game! The art looks nice and unique, and the musique feels right with the game. Good job!
This is very, very polished. It's incredible when you consider it's been done in only 72 hours. Nice work!
Really good art! I particularly like the different patterns when you shoot! Maybe one idea for improvement would be to have enemies that withstand more shots ?
Definitely one of the best games of this jam. It's pretty short but it feels incredibly polished and entertaining! As mentionned earlier, I wish you could lower the volume as it's pretty loud.
Playing your game was definitely a fun time! The gameplay feels nice (particularly the guns and recoil effect) and comletely fits the theme. The art style is amazing and contrasts with the violence and dismemberments. 😋 The only thing lacking in my opinion is animations, but I know time is tight during the compo.
@missalpha @akros @starven Thank you so much for playing my game! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. As for the number of levels and the difficulty, I would like to develop the game a bit more after the jam and add more levels as well as making them increasingly difficult.
Very fun game, particularly with a friend, then you can each control one of the cannons! If you play alone the difficulty quicly increases. I like the simple graphics, I just wish you stuck with a style like the planet and some of the asteroids, some of the elements didn't really had the same low poly/hexagonal look. No music but I see you opted out of the category. Overall a really fun experience!
This is a really nice concept, very fitting with the theme. The graphics are simple but clean, I particularly like the reflection effect on the sword when turning around. The sound effects are nice but maybe a longer music track could make the game a bit better.
The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is fun and fitting with the theme. The difficulty can be challenging but it's part of what makes it fun. As someone mentionned already, maybe the starting platform should be a bit more difficult to push so you can experiment with the controls safely, it would make it a bit less frustrating. The music is nice and cartoony, it goes along well with the overall style.
This is a really fun game! The gameplay is simple but the different things that alter the game like the circular saws and the missiles made it very fun to play!
I also really appreciate that you made the music looping even when you retried, it made it easier to continue playing for a long time without getting bored, and it allowed me to listen to more of that awesome soundtrack!
Great music! The graphics could probably have used a bit more finish, maybe by showing the edges on the shapes. The concept was very original and nicely fit the theme.
The gameplay was extremely fun. The musics and sound effects are very nice, and the graphics are simple but nice. I didn't really understand the ability sacrificing part either but i could still progress without it. I liked how the AI could dodge too.
Fun game! The concept was great and I really liked the use of emissive materials, the car looked simple yet it was pretty and futuristic. The transition from menu to game was super smooth! Audio would have been nice and is really easy to set up, you can even use Wolfram Tone to procedurally generate it without music skills. If you want to spend more time on programming and still get nice models I encourage you to look up Asset Forge, it's a nice modelling tool I used this jam and it saved me a lot of time. Anyway I liked your game and hope you make more in the future, keep up the good work!
This was a really nice little game. I had fun trying to see which combination worked the best. I think armor effectiveness is the less critical one to give up on. Combat felt fun and the effect when the enemies died was very good looking.
I enjoyed playing the game and once you get past the first few levels you get the hang of things pretty easily. I feel like the timer would have to be a little shorter to increase challenge a bit. I personnaly liked the music. Maybe a few sound effects would have been welcome but it's just a detail. Overall a very nice game.
This game is awesome! I loved the music and the aesthetic. It was a lot of fun to try all the options, and the description of each option was funny! One of the best games I've played so far. The only flaw I can find to it is that it's a bit too short in my opinion.
This was a very nice experience, I did not know I enjoyed torturing flowers so much. The musics were very nice and the graphics were simple and pretty. The animations were smooth and lovely.
I liked the art style and the music. A suggestion I have would be to add sounds to give feedback when attacking, dodging or getting hit. I also didn't feel like too much skill was involved in the gameplay at first but choosing what to sacrifice between waves was fun and fitting to the theme, and did require some thinking.
This was a very fun game, and definitely an original concept too. A bit of work on the UI would have made it more attractive at first glance but the gameplay was a lot of fun. I liked the suprise popup and colour change, and the losing screen was scary as hell!
The graphics and sounds are amazing. I like that you thought to include a sound if you just hit the stone block with the axe. I feel like gameplay was lacking a bit, it sort of felt like the only thing I was fighting was my morals so it was not very challenging.
I love the simple style you went for, it's got a very peaceful atmosphere. The gameplay is simple but it makes for an overall relaxing experience. I also really like the transition to restart the level when you lose, it's so smooth and seamless!
That's a great entry! I really like the visuals, with the cutout map and the 3d indicators for the movement. The character design is very nice too, although animations would have been a welcome addition. I agree with the above comment, perhaps the scope was a bit too large to polish a game like this on such a short duration. But nonetheless, definitely one of the best entries I've played, congrats!
Such a lovely little experience. You did an amazing job at telling so much in so little time. Of course I wish there was more but I also know that maybe the shortness is part of what makes it great. A very nice entry.
@thevideogamester Thank you for playing, and thank you for your feedback! I think the motion sickness might be due to the size of the tiles, I should try with bigger ones as that would cause less movement overall.
@mike09123 It's true that it would be a lot easier but the shader I used for the floor is rather expensive, so I'm not sure it would work as a web build. I'll try to build it for web later to see if it runs correctly.
@ktao Hey there, thank you for playing my game, I'm really glad you liked it and your words mean a lot! Well there's a few tricks, the music is mostly made by a generator (see description) and slightly touched up in Audacity, which saves a lot of time. Same for the models, they're all made of primitives (spheres for the enemies, cubes for the environment...) except for the player, the bow, a tree and two rocks haha. The rest is all done by simple shaders. Feel free to check out the sources to see how it's all set up!
@drakespartan @simxple Thanks for trying out my game! I'm sorry about the motion sickness, and I agree that there's a few things I could do to fix it, like making the movement slower and the tiles bigger. Or only making them spawn in front of you and not despawn.
@drakespartan I also agree that I should have included visual feedback, not only audio, like an animation or a quick colour change. Thank you for your detailed feedback, that's awesome!
@marcin-j Thank you for playing! I'm really glad you liked the game! If I end up working more on it, I will definitely look into making the controls feel right.
@corrade Thank you for playing and for your comment! From your feedback and others' it seems the normal controls are a much better default choice, and to think that it's only an integer to change in the inspector. I'll know better next time! I also think I made a mistake with the rotation on shoot, it seems to be frame rate dependent, I saw my colleagues play it and the character didn't turn as fast as when I made it. Rookie mistake haha.
@mahalis Thank you so much for those kind words! I'm glad you liked the game and the world coming into place effect!
@luckyfeathers Thank you so very much for playing! I added that difficulty setting in the last hour before submission haha. Oh I had noticed that bug during one of my playthrough but even after fiddling with the colliders and physics settings I didn't manage to get it fixed, unfortunately.
That's such an awesome game! Great job on getting that CRT screen look and the 80's aesthetic just right.
Nice little game, the graphics look nice, although I prefer them before the textures are applied. The concept of a guy running around prepping the dungeon is really funny though, good job!
That's such a wonderful game! I love the aesthetics and discovering all the contents you can add was so much fun! I wish there was a difficulty setting though, it was pretty challenging at times, depending on what you got in the boxes. Anyway definitely one of the best games I've played!
That was fun! The graphics look amazing and the gameplay is simple yet fun! I had a little bug where one of the cats escaped from the map (pesky cats), but a very nice experience nonetheless.
I liked the style! And I agree with the previous comment, the walls don't tile too well, particularly the sections with the torches. The idea is good though, it was fun to progress through the levels using the different ressources/elements found on the maps.
That's a really nice entry! I like the concept of having a fixed time frame of one minute for each playthrough. Also Crazy Jack is my spirit animal.
Very fun game, the background audio really makes it immersive. The base building system is very nice too!
This game is so nice and simple! The interactions are amazing, the music is calm and not distracting from the game and the minimalist graphics are awesome! Good job!
Very funny game, I really liked trying to figure out an optimal layout for my assistants between each waves! Plus angrily clicking at emojis is always fun haha.
That's a very lovely, relaxing game, and the visuals are really amazing. I'm definitely going to check the source, I'm curious about how you handle the growing.
That's a really fun game, and an awesome way to tackle the theme! I really like both the concept and the execution! What did you use to make it?
I loved the art and the audio, it's all cute and lovely! I found it difficult on my first run but then I figured out I could dash on the green blocks to get the missing candy and it made it a lot easier! The gameplay is simple yet doesn't get boring, great job!
Hey! I downloaded your game and tried to play it but I can't click the buttons on the main menu 🤔
@garywiss Oh thanks for explaining! I really loved the game, the gameplay feels great and not too punitive since you only go back in time a little when you're hit, and the style is awesome. I particularly loved the tilt shift effect to give a sense of perspective and the dissolve shader to avoid obstruction for the camera, great job from your team!
Awesome entry! I really loved the graphics with both great 3D models and cool shaders. The gameplay also felt great, with the ability to rewind allowing to experiment with the puzzles without feeling punished. Truly great job to the whole team!
A fun little game, I really liked the parodies of the icons! Gameplay was simple but fun, and a cool, relatable take on the theme. Great job!
@ukulelefury Thank you for trying out my game! The combat is supposed to trigger after the second dialogue, the two guards play their turn, and then during your turn you should have the ability to attack on the tiles that are highlighted in red, so sorry if I didn't make it clear enough!
@aterlamia Thank you so much for playing the game! The third level is the last level, I unfortunately didn't have time to implement an end of game screen. If you want to restart a level, you can open the settings screen from the top right cogwheel icon and restart from there
@gonzalol @sharkwithlasers @harusame Thank you a lot for playing my game, and thank you for your feedback! I tried to play with the theme by having the ghosts repeat their previous actions but I agree that it's not as obvious as some other entries. I agree that the text scroll speed was a bit slow, I'll keep that in mind for the next jam  I'm really glad you enjoyed the game!
@bootak Thank you for trying my game! I'm really glad you liked the art and animations, although in hindsight I probably should have spent a bit more time on making levels than animations
@tvorojok Thank you for trying the game!
@salier Thanks a lot for playing my game and for your feedback! I agree making the gameplay more dynamic and adding more feedback for the user would have been great!
@wakobu Thank you for playing! Unfortunately I didn't have time to make a tutorial or proper explainations so it's not too obvious but the ghost repeats the actions it did before being killed so you need to get the enemy to walk on the plate before killing them and their ghost will be stuck in a loop and step on it again
Awesome work! I love this type of gameplay that demands tough decisions. This entry is also a masterpiece in terms of graphics and audio, truly a great game!
Awesome idea and execution, it's super relaxing to play and just enjoy the rythm, the shapes and the colours as you adjust the control points. Really loved your game!
A fun little game with a ton of replayability! It started a bit slow for me but when it hit the fan it was really challenging and fun. I agree with Sapantaha, the sounds could be a bit much when the cup started filling up but that's a minor detail in my book.
This is probably my favourite entry so far. I started playing it and by the time I was done, an hour had gone by. The procedural generation as well as the leaderboard gives it so much replayability. I'm also super impressed with the water physics.
I really liked the idea of being unable to fight back, it made it fit the theme much better in my opinion. I also thought the graphics worked very well, both the environment and the fog/FX, with a consistent low poly look across the board!
@robowarrior1982 Thank you so much! I agree that my mouth made sound for the turret lacks punch for sure!
@atomicptr Thank you! It might be too fun, I've seen a few people play it and take down the buildings for fun haha
@gamedevalexandr Thanks for playing! The boost is supposed to be bound to left shift, although it was my first time using the new Unity input system so I'm not sure how well it handles different keyboard layouts for example
@thomas-higgins Thanks a bunch! I agree about the game becoming repetitive fast and feeling like you can't really do much past a certain point, see note at the bottom.
@vilmantas Thanks! I'm really glad you liked the UI idea, I'm kind of proud of it haha.
@leorid I should have known destroying the buildings was too tempting when I spent most of my playtesting on Saturday collapsing the entire block x) I probably should have made the bullets visible through the buildings too, to help adjusting your shots. Completely agree about the controls, they take a bit of getting used to!
@james-7777 Thank you! Yeah the controls aren't ideal, Leorid above had a good idea on how to fix it, I'll probably give it a try later this week
@gummibot Thank you, and I'm glad you liked this ~~bug~~ feature
@yellowkamel Thank you so much for playing it on stream, that was a great morning!
@crishnate Perhaps if you join the bots they'll spare you, worth a try! I really like the idea of adding ramming damage, that would make the boost more fun and it would be easier to deal with groups of enemies!
And I completely I agree about the core gameplay loop quickly becoming repetitive, I planned on adding power ups (mortar, dash, mines, shotgun shells, etc) but I couldn't delay the inevitable deadline
The idea and execution in this one are both incredible. This almost feels like a ready to release game. The audio wasn't too distracting, and the art is simple and lovely!
Very fun concept! The UX could maybe be improved a little by letting the user drag and drop blocks around if you decide to continue the project, but a fun entry nonetheless!
I loved how fast the text ended up going, it made getting that cute dog actually inevitable. The dog talking was also an hilarious touch. The art was great too!
That was such a cool entry! I love the art style and the mini games are all fun and do get more difficult when the timer is really short. That animation at the end with Sucre and her dog is so cute! Also that chicken spooked me the first time, well played!
It took me a little moment to understand how to break the stuff, I was spamming the key instead of letting it do its thing. To others who had the same issue, once you press E just let the animation play until the thing is broken. The art is top notch and I liked playing in that little space and keep my fire alive. The music loop was fitting with the overall feel of the game and not too distracting. Good job on the weather effects, too!
I love the clean polished look you went for! One area of improvement could be to make the movement a bit more snappy, but I had a lot of fun clearing levels anyway, and the music is nice too!
Such a fun entry! I might have struggled more than I'd like to admit but I finally made it! Score.png
I'm really impressed by how much actual gameplay you managed to get working with such a simple concept, I really liked figuring out the effect of the different orbs, and I especially like the ones that dash at you to knock you out of the ring. The audio was great, the music was engaging yet not too distracting. Great job!
This was a super cool experience! Really happy you're back and having fun making cool stuff. I loved the visuals, and the sound! The mechanics are simple but you could definitely expand on those if you feel like it.
I have to admit I'd have been fired from my crane operator job very quickly haha. The game is a lot of fun and it feels really nice to make progress and get better at it. The physics worked super nice, props on you for getting it to play so nicely in a new engine!
I had a lot of fun playing this with my girlfriend! Thank you guys for a really fun time.
I'll agree with other commenters here, it took a bit of time to really understand what was happening and why, but once you figure it out it's a really fun and engaging experience! The art style is so unique and works perfectly for this type of game. I liked the music too!
Awesome work! It's definitely impressive to pull this off in two days. The graphics are neat and the gameplay is fun!
This had the polish of a full release! The animations are so cute, and the plot was a delight to follow and unravel. I liked the inclusion of the combat, and the whole theater aesthetics was genius, I laughed out loud at those ducks carrying car cutouts around. Great job to all of you guys.
The models and animations are top notch in this game! I really enjoyed the soundscape too. I agree with what's been mentioned before though, a bit more interactions and a slightly less agressive camera would help. I really enjoyed playing nonetheless!
The feel of this game is top notch! Everything works together, the graphics and audio are awesome and the gameplay is simply fun!
@rezistor Thank you for playing! I'm glad you liked the controller, it took me a good chunk of the time to get them right
@caoker Thank you for the feedback! The integration of the theme could definitely have been clearer, space is limited on each platform and they'll collapse when it goes above a certain weight, but I had to make some platforms unbreakable to keep the game from getting into a blocked state.
@mastoast Thank you for playing, and for the great feedback! Agreed on all of those, and definitely things I'll keep in mind in the future!
@scolondev It's possible you got soft locked, I think the last opened path can't be accessed even by jumping with a fan in certain conditions! Sorry about that, and I hope you still had some fun with the game!
@frogman Wow thank you so much for the kind words! The final boss isn't nearly as polished as I had wished and you often have to restart if you lose there, I unfortunately ran out of time right on that part. As for the music looping, I copy pasted one of the audio sources I had in the scene and forgot to tick the looping option :face_palm: I really appreciate the detailled feedback and the words of encouragement!
@krassenstein Thanks! It was great fun to see you play it and get some live feedback! I had a great time hanging out on the stream and got to see some awesome games being played. Best of luck for the last week of your kickstarter campaign!
Looking forward to trying all of you guys' games!
This was such a fun game! The art and animations are incredible! As others mentioned, a bit more feedback would go a long way, but you definitely have something!
Such a cool idea, and a great execution too! It really does feel eerie to go through, and the implementation must have been pretty hard!
That's a very creative take on the theme, very relatable and a lot of fun! It turned out to be a lot of work to manage your seat-neighbors and fight for the window blind!
Incredible work (and to your dad too!) The game is a ton of fun, super juicy gameplay. Great design, and a great execution to back it up!
This definitely was an ambitious entry! A ton of work went into it, the graphics are beautiful and the music is lovely. The gameplay is complex, and as others have mentioned a bit hard to grasp at times. Great job nonetheless, it's an awesome game!
I loved the style of this game, the aesthetics are very consistent and pleasing to look at! The asudio is very cute too. Though as others have said, it takes a bit of time and effort to undestand what's going on, but once you do it's a very fun game!
That's a really good game! It's a simple concept but it's super polished and very fun to play! Great work
For sure one of the best moods I've seen in a game jam! I actually liked the lack of guidance, it left more room for exploration in my opinion. I'm glad you're continuing the work on it!
Great job with this one! The art is seriously impressive and I had fun with all the puzzles. The story hits hard too, and the music finishes selling it.
The art is amazing! It's a hard game but it doesn't feel unfair either, and it feels like I can actually get better at it with each attempt. The concept was fun, and props on the dog puns for the card names! Good job to you two.
This is a super cool concept, really original! I love the lofi graphics, and the management aspect to keep our hero alive and his inventory clean at the same time! As others have said, the execution could be a bit more polished, but that's a great job for three days of work!
That was such a fun game, lots of polish and great work on the game feel! The gun feels fun to just shoot with the character recoiling, the screenshake and the bullets tracing through the darkness! Super cool entry honestly.
It's such a simple game but it's so much fun! I love the music, and it fits the theme well!
That's a rare genre to find in a jam, definitely a pleasant surprise! The storytelling is great, and the music supports it well. As others said, I tried a bunch of combinations in my playthroughs but didn't get to keep the fox just yet.
Super clever mechanic! It must have been hard to implement it and it seems robust, it didn't bug out at all during my playthrough. The art, music and overall atmosphere are great too!
Congratulations on achieving such a nice result on a new engine! The game is a ton of fun, and it looks good, sounds good and most importantly feels good to play. Good job!
I agree with the other commenters that the movement felt a bit fast but the game is definitely fun nonetheless! Managing to pass the higher floors feels great and the music is a good fit.
This was a very fun game! I love the way you represented the black hole, and the gameplay was simple but super fun, with good replayability as well! The audio was great too.
That's a super creative take on the theme! I liked the clean graphics, and the music was a perfect fit, too!
Really fun game, and a genre you don't see too often either! I loved planning my course through the levels and getting the timing just right felt super rewarding!
That's a cute experience! The gameplay is definitely original, and I like that you get different review line depending on how the ride went! It's a bit short but I think you've got a good start to expand on it if you'd like!
Super innovative game, one of the most creative entries this time around! The microphone for playing is such a cool idea. The art is really cute, too. And congratulations to your friend, the music is lovely and compliments the game well. Good job to all of you!
AS others mentioned this is a hard game but so rewarding when it clicks and you figure it out! The graphics are simple but clear and work really well for this type of game. Awesome job for making this in one day!
That's a really interesting idea, and the execution didn't disappoint! Good work and impressive result, especially for a compo game
Awesome work! The concept is very celever and the execution works great, with polished graphics and controls, as well as the audio. Congratulations to the team!
This is a really fun entry! I liked the gameplay a lot and it felt really cool to summon slimes into battle! Congratulations! Untitled.png
Awesome voxel art! I'm glad you didn't give up, it was a really fun game, challenging but fun.
This looks so good! Great work by you two, especially in such a short time!
Amazing graphics, well made audio and a really cool concept! I love it when games are used to share a piece of culture like this. Congratulations to the team!
I love the concept and the game looks great! As others have said, the UI could use some work but it's easy to say and hard to fit in such a short deadline. Good work to you guys!
This is such a neat entry! I've had it bookmarked for a few days because I got curious about the art and now that I finalyl got to play it I'm really glad I did. The audio is super clean, the unlit art style works so well and I love the design of the gladiators. The gameplay is a lot of fun too, easy to get but hard to master. Congratulations to the team!
@josang1567 Thank you for giving it a try! I haven't encountered this issue, did you toggle the bridge, like in this clip: https://youtu.be/s4gGKMjH9kw
@josang1567 Ah so sorry, I should have made it clearer! It's Tab to return to your main character
@troy-korns Thank you for playing, and I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I agree, the lever is ready to be animated but I ran out of time :(
@vrdiy Thank you for your feedback, and nice catch! I didn't think of going there with a minion, I should have tested better :face_palm: But I'm glad you liked the game overall (and the boss fight I spent way too long on)
@zablas Ah sorry to hear you got softlocked! Thank you for playing and for your feedback
@raimondosenpai Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you liked my mouth-made sound effects haha
@human Thank you so much, I'm really happy you enjoyed the game! I really appreciate your comment. I think HDRP didn't help but my models aren't very optimized either I believe.
@pres2300 Thank you very much! I realised the issue with elevation when I was finishing up the level, the quick fix was to put a higher platform on the other side of the room but I agree that it would be much better to fix the root cause. Thanks for playing!
@ugly-robot Thank you so much for the nice words! Ah I know why on this one, I think the enemy spawn triggering logic is placed a bit far from the respawn point so it sometimes doesn't spawn them :face_palm: I really appreciate you giving it another go though, thanks!
@derllie Thank you so much! You and your team did great too!
@jsmcag Thank you for playing, and for the feedback! There definitely should be audio, that's strange. Did you run the Linux or Windows build? I was unable to test on Linux so it's possible there's an issue with that build :grimacing:
@thegreatcarpet Thank you so much! I had been practicing blender a lot since last LD, so it's good to hear that it's paying off!
@beebster-games Thank you so much! Those are some heartwarming words, have a great day!
@ecenizo Thank you kindly! I'm happy to hear you liked it and had fun!
@osvaldo Thanks a lot! I definitely had to sacrifice a lot of sleep to summon this game
@slagos Thank you for the feedback! I agree they're a bit too tanky for my taste, it's especially visible near the boss. I unfortunately ran out of time to play test and balance right at the end :/
@jsmcag Ah after a bit of research that seems to be a known issue: https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/issues/linux-no-audio-output-when-playing-audio :/
So sorry it gave you trouble, but thank you for confirming your OS so I could pinpoint it. Looks like I'll be using a different editor version next time
@fenix131113 @melissa-stodolnik @gruzdid @kseniya Thank you gang! Great job on your entry too!
@co5monaut Thank you so much for the kind words! To be honest the trick is mostly to keep moving/dashing to avoid projectiles while turning off the shield, and then focus on damaging the boss. It's not ideal from a game design perspective, I ran out of time to properly balance it and make it more interesting.
@justcamh Thank you so much for the great feedback, for the VOD and for a great stream!
Lovely game! The main game loop is really fun and the art style really brings it all together.
Very impressive in just one day of work, and congratulations for being persistent and getting back on your feet! Lovely art too.
Truly outstanding entry! As others have said the UI is the only minor issue, but nothing that takes away from my enjoyment of the game! Great job to all of you.
Good concept and great execution!
Such an interesting take on the theme! Super funny too, and the art and audio really fit and improve the experience!
Super cool idea! This is a beautifully designed game, and very visually pleasing too. It's also impressively polished for a game jam. Congrats!
This is a really, really nice game! The gameplay, art and audio work together super well to create a fun experience! Congratulations to the team
Really clever game, I saw it on stream and was not disappointed when trying it, it feels so cool to figure out the levels!
Super good job with this entry! As others mentioned it's lacking a bit of polish, but it's a jam game so it's already impressive you managed to get all of this in, and to make it look so good. I also really like the effort you put in the page. Good work!
Great job on your entry! It's a very stylish game, and the concept it's built upon is lovely, as others have said you have a very solid base here if you want to continue building upon it.
This game is a ton of fun! It was so satisfying to play, congratulations for making it!
Very fun and satisfying entry! The art and audio are great too
This is a really fun and entertaining entry! It feels so badass to kick bombs at them !
Super interesting concept, and a simple but effective implementation! The visuals are great, and the game is really well written. Congrats, and :crab:
I never thought collecting frogs could be so fun. The art and music really work together with the gameplay to keep you engaged throughout
This was such a refreshing entry! The idea is great and the art looks wonderful. Others already mentioned the minor issues with the game but it's a great game nonetheless, and truly impressive result in 48 hours. Good job to the team!
Awesome entry! The art reminded me of Cult of the Lamb, which is a great thing. This was hilarious and super fun to play.
I really like what you did with this game! The design of it is great and it's a lot of fun to play, and it just looks so pleasing! Congratulations to the team
The art in this one is incredible and create a really cool atmosphere! As others said the controls can be improved but still, great work in 72 hours!
Really fun and original concept, and the execution served it well too! Congratulations!
This entry is super atmospheric and the sounds and graphics really come together to make it immersive. Great work!
Awesome work! This is definitely one of the most fun entries in this jam, and even more impressive for a first time! I hope you do keep working on it if you want, this is a really solid base. Congrats!
I really like this entry! As others mentioned, UX could be improved but this is still an amazing game, with beautiful graphics, great audio and fun gameplay. Good work!
You guys did great! This was a lot of fun, and visually interesting too. Congratulations on the submission!
That's a really fun generator! I liked giving a name to my creation, here is my favourite so far, Werewolfio!

Good job, and awesome pixel art.
This is such a cool entry! The art style is lovely and unique, and works well with the gameplay.
Very nicely done! It's hard but fair and feels really polished, especially for a compo gam. Félicitations !
Such a cute and fun entry! Incredible work, doubly so for a compo!
This is a super original take on the theme, and technically very impressive! The art is nice looking and very fitting with the overall vibe of the game. The music is beautiful too. Incredible work, doubly so for a compo entry, you can be proud!
That was really funny, I can see it being made into a full game! That also made me hungry...
It's certainly hard but it doesn't feel unfair, and I could actually see the results of myself getting better. Really fun take on the platformer genre!
