I'm still in the process of playing the game, but here is a little bug report.
I played in Firefox, on the itch io site.
Steps: * Only click "play" with a fox * Say "I left the food in there" during the first dialogue option
Result: trace.png
I'll try to play the game again to have a chance of rating it properly.
Upd: I managed to reproduce it again, following the steps above. I'll try a different set of options now.
Upd2: I'm not sure that anything training-related is important. It looks like I just can't choose a "forgotten food" option.
Going for an all-play playthrough leads to another crash.
The fox jumper out of the window, so I consider it to be one of the endings. :)

@quasilyte Thank you for your feedback! I have fixed the bug and updated all versions of the game on itch.io 👍 The error was due to the music played when you reach a game-over. I used a wrong path for the audio file 🙃
OK, all-train playstyle crashes as well at the pillow scene. :)
Nice art!
@berin oh, let me try it again then. :)
I think I managed to get all the endings. Or at least it feels like it. :) I guess we can't make the fox stay with us forever? :) Or maybe I just got to the game overs, because every one of these had a sad music with "you will never see it again".

@quasilyte Then you managed to 100% it^^ There is no ending where you keep the fox. The furthest you come is when you reach day 30. Thanks a lot for playing all of it 🙏

Very cute game! 😊
I like the art of the little fox, and the story you have written!
Good job! 😃

@kinami Thank you very much! I wasn't sure how a story-focussed game would be received in here. I'm really glad people like it (;v;)

The illustration is beautiful, the music’s pleasant, and I’m curious to see where the story goes… but it seems like whatever I do the fox never changes from feral / novice / wary and I get the squirrel ending (unless I mess up the earlier room conversation, in which case it’s gone earlier than that). I can’t tell whether I’m meant to consistently balance what I try to do or to stick to one path at a time. I guess it feels a little too easy to fail early on? Then again, if I **did** find a magic fox, I can’t imagine things would go a whole lot better…

That's a rare genre to find in a jam, definitely a pleasant surprise! The storytelling is great, and the music supports it well. As others said, I tried a bunch of combinations in my playthroughs but didn't get to keep the fox just yet.
A nice little story with some very solid writing that makes me feel like reading more.
I got all the 4 endings I believe. I think the stat summaries at the top are one step behind the actual stat result, so it's more about paying attention to the text on repeat playthroughts than checking at the top.
I do think the connection to the theme is pretty flimsy, but it was a nice experience.

A very cute little game and the different endings makes it replayable despite being short. The art is very nice and the whole thing is very cohesive and fits together very nicely. The writing is done well with some good variation and, again, makes you want to continue the story and play again.
The amount of options and having save files really makes it feel like a properly fleshed out game and not a jam game! The save files were particularly usefule in trying to get the different endings, although it is a bit sad that there's no good one, but I guess some things are just not meant to be :(
One thing that could add some polish would be to play with the way the text appears on the screen. Given that the story and text is such a major part of the gameplay, it would be nice to see this a bit smoother with it maybe a small fade, type or scroll in rather than just appearing. A very minor thing though and another thing that would have taken up more time in a jam of course!
Overall, a super cute game with great vibes and impeccable writing that makes you want to keep playing!

Very cute game and surprising setting with the "earth skill"! I feel like after the first 3 possible endings reaching the fourth one was a bit too much focued on teaching, so maybe this could be a bit more balanced (but maybe I just happen to play it in a way it wasn't supposed to be played ) But it was generally fun to follow the story. As powerofsin already noted, the stat seem to indicate progress pretty slowly, maybe more intermediate steps could be helpful there and also as teto mentioned, I was also sometimes a bit confused with the text appearing under the previous text and sometimes scrolling it. But still very cute entry!
