BLOCKIES by Ayxs 2023-10-03T15:35:12Z

Nice and relaxing 3D puzzle! 😃

I can't believe you made this in just 72 hours! It feels so polished!

The placement of blocks is sometimes a little clunky when trying to place in a hole on the ground, but otherwise everything is great - the controls, the visuals, the music, the sounds.

It all comes together as a nice relaxing puzzle! Well done! 😊

Ship in a Bubble by Moebius 2023-10-03T10:02:43Z

Cool little game! ✨

I actually made a similar game a while back. I thought it was really cool how the bullets bounced back from the bubble.

One thing I thought was a bit frustrating is not being able to strafe (move sideways). In these kinds of games (fast linear projectiles, player character acceleration) it's _really_ hard to dodge if you only have turn and forward controls. WASD movement + Click to shoot would have made it a lot more snappy in my opinion.

Other than that, I really enjoyed the game! It fit the theme very well! 😄

Don't Skip the Ship! by Bloham 2023-10-02T19:04:46Z

Cool game!

I feel like the instructions could be a little clearer on what counts as "too empty", but otherwise nice job! 😄

Rolling Over It by DanyVk 2023-10-03T11:06:44Z

This one was quite well made. Even though these types of games are not my cup of tea I almost managed to finish the first level 😃

I feel like a lot of the difficulty comes from not the actual physics puzzle, but the (intentionally?) obtuse controls. I feel like if there were a setting for swapping the force curve (the closer to the dice, the lower the force), it would make it a lot more enjoyable. Currently a single pixel difference in the mouse positioning makes a huge difference in trajectory, and it so it is very hard to change direction mid-flight.

Also, as others have mentioned, you can just revert to a 6 when you land. The player has the option of doing so with extremely small steps, and there is no disadvantage to doing so. The only place I see this making a difference is if the player lands on a 1 on a slanted platform. Maybe you could make it so that after a second or so the number goes back to 6?

I liked how colliding with a wall makes you unable to control the dice though. It led to some tense moments where I knew I was at the mercy of the physics engine. 😆

Piper by Kjip 2023-10-03T10:32:38Z

Very cool! 🙂

I liked the tutorial section. So many times I end up writing a novel for how to play one of my jam games, but you managed to solve it with just a couple of short, humorous lines! It's really "show, don't tell".

Well done! 😁

Space Team Tinder by shrimpsizemoose 2023-10-03T20:39:29Z

Nice and simple! 😄

The art has a sort of "pixelart, but not quite" feel that works very well!

I managed to win on my first try 😃

Less is Moore by Aurailus 2023-10-03T15:16:33Z

Very nice concept, and great polish!

This was so much fun! All those funny quips of your senior colleague and all the corporate talk! It really added to the experience!

Well done! 😄

Clockwork Express by mira 2023-10-03T22:06:17Z

Nice game! 😄

The artstyle and the theme fit the gameplay well! I feel like it became a little too hectic around the end, where I had to click and drag lots of rooms, while still trying to free up space with the cargo.

A very fun challenge! 😃

Hexed by Tesseract 2023-10-02T17:46:32Z

Simple and elegant!

The graphics are simple, but that feels in place with the abstract board-game like game! I feel like it could be clearer which side you are playing (maybe your side could be green, the opponent could be red?)

In any case, great game! 😄

ICEomation by sabasa 2023-10-03T14:09:07Z

Cool (pun intended) game! ❆

My high score was 366 seconds! Towards the end I did not even have time to refill my freezers!

Well done! 😄

CERT by tjm 2023-10-02T18:59:42Z

This is so cool! ✨

I kind of want to print it and play on paper, but I don't have access to a printer right now!

Well done!

Disquette by Hallow 2023-10-03T21:11:09Z

The prototype looks cool! 😄

Don't you want to take more time and submit for the extra category?

Abyss Ascent by T90. 2023-10-02T23:16:20Z

Very nice game! 😄

This has a lot of potential! I'm really impressed with how well the art works together with the gameplay. You really nailed the atmosphere! I wanted to read more!

Looking forward to the post LD patch! 😊

Bag of Some Holding by Grizwhirl 2023-10-03T21:07:04Z

I managed to play it!

To anyone not being able to play, you can just use the direct embed link: https://files.jam.host/embed/$371470/21691/index.html

This was a cool timed puzzle! I like how you have to quickly decide how to arrange your inventory, and I never had a case where I had an impossible arrangement. I encountered one bug though, where even with filling all the squares, I did not get the gold.

My high-score is 595.

Space Shark Inc. by greenphox 2023-10-02T18:35:56Z

Cool little game! 😄

I only got two endings, I'm guessing if I were to explore a bit more, I could get more.

One small comment: In the default viewport size on Itch the text was very blurry and almost unreadable for me. Maximizing the game solved the issue. Maybe you want to set "Start Maximized" on Itch to avoid this?

In any case, I enjoyed this one! 😊

Space Shark Inc. by greenphox 2023-10-02T19:10:47Z

Thanks, I got all the endings now! ✨

Art - Official Intelligence (an AI fever dream) by Ben Parisi 2023-10-03T15:06:37Z

Cool experiment! 😃

A tool you might find interesting: ControlNet combined with Stable Diffusion can make people be in various poses, not just head on.

Card Hexchange by Arnazian 2023-10-03T14:53:57Z

Amazing art and polish! 😄

Well done! This has to be one of the most polished games in this jam!

I feel like it dragged on a bit too long, with identical encounters one after the other.

I also wish there were an option to discard the card you just got, or use a potion in the new card select screen.

But these are minor issues. The game is fun, and your take on the theme is interesting! 😄

File Farewell by Rita Zhang 2023-10-02T23:08:45Z

Oh, we went in the same direction with "cleaning up disk space"! Nice 😄

I like how you made it so you can open some files to take a look at them too!

WordDish by Wolforce 2023-10-02T18:25:57Z

Cool game!

I feel like it gets a little repetitive when I'm trying to make words out of "KCKHZPPKCCKL", where my word just needs another "O" to finish, but I guess that's part of the challenge!

Well done! 😄

Limited Grades by Triangle Point 2023-10-02T18:40:56Z

Cool particle effects and voiceover! 😄

I found a way to glitch past the boss, letting me hit it without getting hit, so got an A+ 😉

The music during the boss was a bit too loud for my tastes, but otherwise fun game!

Bathtub Buccaneers by Cloverfall 2023-10-03T10:18:35Z

This is great! 😄

I like the alliteration in the title and the absurd theme of piracy on the ~~high seas~~ _bathtub waters_.

The controls weren't the greatest, and the broadsides were hard to aim, but I still managed to sink all enemy ships!

I like how they kept shooting in defiance even as they were sinking 😃

Well done!

Field of Flowers by AtlasFlame 2023-10-03T12:27:51Z

Such a cool game! 😄

This was a really charming puzzle! At the beginning I was really confused because my plants kept dying, but soon I figured out how each plant works. Because of their unique abilities, each plant was still useful, even after I got newer ones that were more valuable!

If there is anything to improve, it's the UI. I would like to see what each plant does before I plant them, and the graphics are pretty basic.

But honestly, I don't think this game needs fancy graphics. It feels great to see the puzzle unfold!

Excellent job! ✨

Also @gorglomux try toggling the "More Info" button in the top right, so you can see the shop.

Crime Duty by HellHound 2023-10-03T14:16:48Z

I'm not sure what to do in this game. I was able to get the web player to work, by opening it in a new tab [here](https://files.jam.host/embed/$377540/22656/index.html). But it seems I am not able to pick up anything?

The walking animation and the art looks nice though! I'm looking forward to playing a patched version! 😄

Magic Fox Diary by Berin 2023-10-02T23:31:36Z

Very cute game! 😊

I like the art of the little fox, and the story you have written!

Good job! 😃

Pazuru Packing Sushi by Gabreu 2023-10-02T20:17:54Z

Very nice game!

It feels very polished! The pixelart looks great, and the mechanics are challenging. The music is really nice and relaxing without getting boring!

I really enjoyed this game! Lots of potential! 😄

Limitless Space by Panda king 976 2023-10-03T13:29:08Z

Great start! 😄

Do you plan on finishing it after the jam?

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-02T19:40:45Z

I may have been a little too realistic @triangle-point @hangovergames. Sorry about that 😅

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-02T19:51:35Z

Thanks @panda-king-976!

I use Godot myself for most of my projects, it's great how the entire install is just ~100MB with an included code editor! I can even run it on my phone! Of the major engines available right now, it suffers the least of the issues I demonstrated in this game 😄

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-02T19:52:48Z

Thanks, @danyvk!

I can assure you, no viruses of any kind were involved in the making of this game 😉

I'm glad I nailed the "scuffed OS" feel though 😆

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-02T22:14:10Z

@tesseract all according to plan! 😉

This is more of a statement or a piece of expressive art, which is kind of a first for me. Usually I make silly little games 😆

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-03T09:51:43Z

Thank you @t90 @sabasa ! 😊

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-03T17:42:45Z

@diadem-games Yeah, I also used my fair share of "enterprise" tools as well, and a lot of them do this 😢

It is so cool that you are using your own engine! 😯 I usually use Godot or hand-write Javascript like this.

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-03T17:51:06Z

@quasilyte It's important to not be distracted when doing gamedev 😉

Jokes aside, I did not get around to making contents for the files.

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-03T20:41:13Z

Thank you @primed-pixel! 😄

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-03T21:31:27Z

That's odd @spaint, it seems that in Vivaldi `display: grid` on the parent takes precedence over `position: fixed` on the child. Since it's all Chromium based I assumed it would work the same as on Chrome. Seems like I need to add Vivaldi to my list of browsers to test with 😅

I'm glad you were still able to play the game! 😄

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-04T16:49:19Z

Thank you @nicekot @supersayafynn @rhanzoc @mocadium ! 😄

I do upgrade my hard drives quite regularly, but I still always end up running out of space 😐

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-05T21:20:43Z

Thank you @ryrumeli @mathkarma @skel3ton !

I'm glad my emotions got across as intended with this game 😉

Hope I didn't traumatize you all too much 😄

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-07T16:34:55Z

@akulove Thank you for your kind words 😄

Yes, the stats are collected from other players!

Installing Engine by Kinami 2023-10-15T15:48:41Z

Thank you all!

@alexis-brochec I wanted to add some error sounds, but I felt they were a little too annoying 😄 Maybe I'll add it as an option though.

@soul-grinder Thank you 😊

@tpace Yeah, they make a lot of annoying products 🦊

Limited Space by Mitch Miller 2023-10-02T20:36:59Z

Nice game! 😃

I liked the 3D graphics, and the controls reminded me a bit of a flight sim.

Is there anything to do after you break the force field?

Space Ltd. by HangoverGames 2023-10-03T13:59:04Z

I like your message about environmental protection, I think it is vital for us to preserve our forests.

I'm sure no one would have thought the characters in the game represent your world view, given they are shown in an overwhelmingly negative light 😉

I do feel like the gameplay was perhaps too fun? It's a hard problem: You want to show deforestation from the perspective of the forces responsible for it, but you also want to make a game that is fun to play. It's a hard circle to square, especially during a game jam.

Still, thank you for calling attention to this important issue! 😃

GoGoGoDots by ZenithStar 2023-10-02T18:47:40Z

A little Godot ball in a big Godot sphere! What more could you ask for? 😆

Surprisingly challenging little game! I would have liked a few more features inside the sphere (maybe a few static obstacles?) or the sphere getting smaller over time. But it's already pretty fun as it is! 😄

Space Botanica by MrMongoose 2023-10-03T21:26:40Z

Cool game! 💫

Within the first few minutes I understood how it works, and was able to grow my own water, oxygen and fuel in space!

I feel like it would benefit from a greater number of events, but it was still very nice! 😃

Outta Space by Empyreans 2023-10-03T10:08:54Z

Cool game! 😄

I liked how you can restart by physically pressing the power button on the screen!

It was a bit unclear to me what I should keep though. Sometimes I lost health for keeping things, sometimes for deleting things.
