Fun little game, great work!
I love this one! I was always frantically running from place to place and I love the tension from the water slowly getting closer and closer.
I would love to see a future upgrade to my shoes to snow shoes maybe so I can move faster. Or can hold more things .
I wouldn't be sure sometimes if i picked some ice or water up, so a little sound effect there would help me from checking the bottom right corner so much. <3

@doubley We're glad you like it :smile: . Yes there were a lot of upgrades and buildings we wanted to add but we were a little short on time. Awesome ideas though, the snow shoes is something we hadn't thought of and would definitly improve the gameplay
Fun small game :D Reminds me of Overcooked where you just run around and do the same stuff over and over, but somehow it's fun. I think more buildings would add a lot to the game.
Survived 256 seconds, still sweating. Great job on the game and congrats on submission. :sweat_smile: I feel that this game could go a long way with a bit of polish, such as sound effects when building, when fish/ice is ready, when ice melts etc..., would also be nice to have some sort of timer/indicator of when the ice is going to melt.

My high score was 366 seconds! Towards the end I did not even have time to refill my freezers!

I survived 287 seconds! At the end I had 4 freezers and only 1 water barrel, which wasn't very strategic of me.

@zanagi Thank you for the feedback. Yeah, there was a lot more we wanted to add but we only had 48 hs cause I'm the programmer and I had to work on monday :sweat: . I'm happy with the result anyway. Thanks for playing :heart:

I really like how the gameplay loop actually incentivises you to play the high risk high reward scenario where it's easier if you have the edge of the ocean closer to you (but you're more likely to die). It could do with some SFX as well. Good job on the programming and art!
That was quite an experience) It's fun and easy but in the same time it got me running with my ass on fire, and it strangely reminding me of a real life) And I really liked the irony of the game. Art is nice, though menu elements are a little out of the overall style but that's ok. The game fits to the theme perfectly. I scored 186, but I was unstrategic, and I was nervous cause my iceberg was melting and I placed my craft without thinking. That was very intense 3 minutes)

@xeniarta Haha yes, we tried to make it stressing while still only having a couple elements. I'm glad someone caught the irony :sweat_smile: . Yeah we didn't have an artitst per se, the game designer made all the pixel art and I made the UI with unity (I don't have much of an artist vision).
I had trouble distinguishing that zxc were to place objects and e was to interact at first and was a little confused but when I figured it out the game play was fun.
Had a lot of fun playing this one, frantically running back and forth from the ocean to the freezer to keep my iceberg intact. Good take on the theme.

Got pretty stressful, which was pretty fun. Shop seems a bit busted, though, I had like 7 fish but wasn't allowed to buy anything. A nice little proof of concept, overall, and I think with a bit of polish it could become a nice game. Well done!
Cool idea! It took me some time to get used to the mechanics but I managed to survive for almost 5 minutes on my second try. I didn't find the barrels very useful, since I still had to put the ice back in the ocean I could just grab water on the way back. Maybe also having a more expensive building that launches the ice so that you don't have to go to the ocean would help. Good job!
@jebouin @sleepymenace yeah, the shop and the barrel were two problems that we didn't relize till after we published it because we didn't have a lot of time to test it and tweak values, the shop should raise the prices or it should do it slower and grabbing water from the ocean should take a couple seconds so the barrel makes more sense
