Great audio.
Weirdly nostalgic.
Couldn't move, then it crashed :(
Thrilling masterpiece.
Found 2 items.
Took me a minute to get it figured out, but it was a great mix of solid game play and story.
Cool idea. I had trouble with the debris, and would have liked maybe a little vertical platforming, but still a solid entry!
A cool concept, but the scale of the level and the controls made it really hard for me.
I had trouble telling what the spiders needed, but otherwise a cool concept and was fun to play!
Controls were too hard.
Ran the exe, window opened and closed immediately.
Very cool twist on the Joust mechanics- cool art style too.
I was able to get it running in my schools electrical lab. Absolutely awesome! Bravo on doing something so unique.20170514_122618_Burst03.jpg
A good start!
Very unique idea, love that you have multiplayer. More control over the turret and/or planet, as well as a more intuitive control scheme in general would have been nice.
Loved the exposition, awesome ambiance.
Confusing, but I like the simple style. Doesn't feel like their is a game- I never ran into obstacles, and there were not clear goals.
Cool idea with a strong aesthetic. I think the asteroid interception could be improved; since the interceptors move across the top of the screen, I found it impossible to time interception. Spamming the intercept button seemed to remove workers from the screen, so I just let asteroids hit my buildings.
Couldn't figure out the crafting.
Slow to get going, but very cool. I would have like to have either more resources to manage or upgrade paths to choose from.
I like the idea, but I would have liked fewer games with a little more polish. I liked the shape matching one and the space invaders one.
I would have like a level reset instead of having to refresh and start from the beginning :(
Very polished, well designed!
It took me a little bit to figure out the requirements for winning. Once I figured out what tiles needed to go where, I wanted more levels!
A great start to a fun game! A little slow to start. I would have liked power ups or upgrades, but maybe that will come in the future :)
Nice work all around, the whole thing feels well put together, and the level design is spot on! Some of the water platforming was frustrating because everything was so small on the screen, but that is my only complaint.
I love the graphics! The first to times I started, I spawned right on top of a spider. Are the levels generated?
Once I read the comments and learned how to switch object type, I found it much more fun! Very novel idea.
Overall I enjoyed it, very polished, but I think the view is a little zoomed in. Between the slow rotation, limited turret arc, and close view, I had a lot of trouble shooting the incoming objects.
The art style is simple but effective, I like the low-poly look. The idea is very cool. Hope you take it further!
Good feel, good graphics!
An inventory/faster mining would have been appreciated. A good start though!
Cool concept but I found the jittery movement really hard to get used to. It felt like the delay in notepad when you hold down a key and it prints one letter, pauses, then prints a bunch. Despite the difficulty in movement, I found the platforming fairly intuitive, and thought the camera was pretty good!
A real challenge! It took me a while to figure what the success/failure conditions were, but I enjoyed trying to rocket around.
Good audio/visual polish, but hard to understand win/loss/progress conditions.
Pretty polished. Good level design, which is hard to do!
Very polished, and fun!
I really like the idea! Hope to see more work on it :)
Got stuck on level 2. Really neat concept, and once I got used to the controls, really fun! The controls/physics could use a little 'tightening' (which is vague, I know) but I felt they could have been a little more responsive, especially for a game based on quick reactions to the environment.
Really well designed, really well paced. Great job!
A damage on the indicator when punching the drones would have been nice... took me a while to realize I needed to destroy them, I thought the punch was just a knockback ability so I could escape (which I thought was cool too). Overall nice game!
Cute! Somehow I got outside of the fence though.
What an unusual game. I like the different interpretation of theme, would have liked to know what was going on.
Wicked art. Barrels don't look dangerous enough.
An interesting concept! Would have like to see a little more "game".
Nice story and mood. Would've liked to play more!
I couldn't make any progress because I could hardly get to the door before the generator was half empty. I liked the art and the zoomed in view though.
Cool puzzle game! Well put together, would have liked more levels.
I liked to concept, but it was too easy.
Cute little clone. It felt like losing was inevitable. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appeared you got a little power back on destroying invaders? I would have liked an additional skill based recharge, like a UFO that crosses the top of the screen that restored more power if you got it. Still overall good!
Cute little game! I liked that the beams were unique and felt very different.
The most content I've seen in a choose your own adventure yet. Nice!
Aside form the collision and slow movement on angle tiles, pretty cool!
Neat puzzle game. Only complaint is that there was no delay between solving the last requirement and going the next puzzle.
Neat!
Cool idea! Would be neat to see short levels and different sized cargo.
Got to level 7, blew myself off the map but didn't die, won! 10/10.
Absolutely brilliant. Just the right amount of obtuse to be fun!
The robots idle animation is downright CUTE. Really cool puzzle game!
Great use of theme, well rounded jam!
Neat game, but I was confused how suspicion and suits interacted.
Challenging! Would've liked a reset button.
Polished and well thought out. Maybe I didn't get far enough, but how was the theme integrated?
Polished, very well done.
I enjoyed the dialogue. I found flying and navigating to be too difficult.
Nice interpretation of the theme!
Drank 36 drinks, immediately hit the first obstacle. 10/10 dead-beat parent simulator.
Funny game! A few improvements I might suggest: - Either remove the typewriter effect, or have it finish instantly with a click. - With the longer sentences, sometimes word wrap would split a word, and it looks funny. - Order the inventory so that items you can do something with are at the top. Despite this I found myself clicking for quite a while! Well written, entertaining, and I think a good use of the theme!
Really cool idea for a puzzle game! Of course more levels, with sound fx and music would have been great. I would like the see a post-jam version!
Cute, but with no tutorial or a description of the controls, I wasn't able to get past the second level... give me a hint and I'll give it another shot!
The brick laying mechanic is cool and innovative. However, I found the platforming itself to be a little frustrating I think mostly because of the players momentum, and a lack of jump grace period. Regardless, very neat entry!
A good start- some goofy sound effects would have really made it shine!
Very polished, with satisfying physics and sounds (and I love the crafting recipes)! My only want would be a list of discovered recipes.
First time through, I was running around, didn't see any enemies, but I assume I ran into one and the game restarted. Second time, I assume I beat it, and it faded to black and that was it. I would have like some amount of feedback/goals. Some mystery is a plus, too much mystery can be confusing and/or frustrating.
Overall, I liked the visuals and the mood, and the push/reveal mechanic was neat. Good entry!
Great 1st entry, much more complete and polished than my first! I liked the stand-still mechanic, but would have liked more enemy variety- even if it was just that they occasionally moved diagonally.
I would have liked a little more challenge. Maybe objectives spawn around the map, or there are objects to defend? As it was I mostly ran in a circle in the middle to kite the brains, then would turn around and hit them all. Regardless, nice entry!
Cute game- I'd be interested to know if you can win, because I certainly could not!
This game is great!
Nice idea for a puzzle game. I find resource management is often boring, but I think using it as a twist on a grid-move puzzle worked really well. Good job!
For some reason the game did not reliably respond to my mouse clicks (on windows 10). This made it really hard to play.
It's always great to see something different! This art, sound, and game all blend very well to give this a great dreary mood.
Wonderfully bizarre! I couldn't decide if the audio was perfect or obnoxious...
I like the idea and the style, but the controls and cameras could be improved (post-jam version? :D).
I got stuck when the bone landed in a pit, I called the dog, and then the bone got moved into the wall :(
I wasn't sure what was happening or why- some sort of feedback to the player would have been nice. When I lost, I wasn't sure if it was because of snow, too much rain, too little rain, etc.
Nice interpretation of the theme and congrats on the entry!
I couldn't figure out what the "heal all" ability was for. I would have like to see some sort of monster that the player would have to keep a look out for and chase away.
Regardless, cute little game!
Nice and polished, with good puzzles!
This game is very realistic, every time I kill one of my plants in real life, it's because I over-watered it...
Really cool game with a great premise. My one complaint is the player movement being just a hair too slow for my taste- I found myself knowing the solution, but not able to coordinate the actions fast enough, which can be frustrating in a puzzle game (though maybe I'm just bad at games haha).
Regardless, fun game with good humor!
Having to avoid shooting your own core is a unique mechanic! Player feedback would be helpful- I found myself clicking more than my tank was shooting, and I wasn't sure if it was me or the bullets had a recharge time.
Nice twist on a classic!
The art and animation made me laugh. A little more game would have been nice but it works as is.
The vines remind me of the classic Lego vine piece haha.
I started playing with mouse and keyboard, but I after I lost on wave 2, I switched to gamepad. Despite being last minute the gamepad controls are MUCH easier to use and more enjoyable. Nice game!
The leaderboard is a nice touch!
It's the sort of game that seems like it would be simple, but is actually hard in an addicting sort of way. Neat idea!
It would have been nice if the "can't jump while holding rock/apple" was explained, either in the game or in this post- I figured it out eventually.
Neat idea though!
Polished entry! Can't go wrong with the PvZ style tower defense.
Nice puzzle game, with a simple art style I really dig!
It took me a while to get the color-combos remembered, but once I did I was on a roll! I would have liked to been able to rotate pieces though.
Really cool art! I had trouble keeping enough food in the fridge, but I got to 30 days eventually.
I couldn't get past the first screen with the spikes :( I either slipped into the pit, or couldn't catch the ball monster after throwing it at the button. If there had been a checkpoint, I would have tried for longer, but having to start from the beginning each time took too long.
Really neat idea though, I would be interested in seeing a post-jam version!
A great start! I would be interested in seeing the things you didn't have time to do.
At first I was fighting the virus... and then I remembered the theme haha. Fun game with neat mechanic and good music!
Solid little game, I really like the art style and color palette- the color gradient on the walls and boxes really helps give depth to an otherwise flat style!
The camera zoom in on finishing or losing a level adds SO MUCH. Beyond that, the game plays really well!
Neat concept. With the way it displayed on my screen (full screen) it was hard to use the mouse movement. If the camera kept the player centered, it would have been easier to launch the ball around.
I like the atmosphere of the game, especially the fire effects. I found the controls a little tricky. I found it frustrating that the player had to be next to the torch, and not overlapping, but that's being a little nit-picky. Cool game!
I enjoyed the dog's dialogue very much, nice solid entry. A little audio would have kicked it up a notch though- maybe next time!
Cool idea but really hard! I couldn't get the hang of it- anytime I lost control at all, I felt like there was no hope in correcting.
Really cool game, the seamless shifting of the level layout is pretty impressive. My only complaint is that the movement of the enemies made them frustrating for me.
A really nice visual style that matched to music well. My first run I avoided the "coins", because they looked scary and didn't look like coins. Good entry!
Really unique take on the theme!
A great interpretation of the theme, and I really like the art style. The lack of any audio really hurt the mood and polish- even some simple, mouth-made sound effects would have gone a long way. An interesting concept and good entry!
Great entry! One of the few games I've ever encountered that deserved high marks in Humor!
For some reason this game made me laugh. I would have liked a crosshair, and the audio balance was a little off. Good entry!
A nice classic roguelike! The audio got repetitive, and I would have liked to have health bars on the enemies.
Great visual style. I kept dying because the super jump felt like a dash, and I kept trying to "dash" after jumping. Once I got the hang of it, it was very fun to shoot through the levels at max speed!
Having to manage the workers was a good way to keep me busy!
Really unique idea! I felt it ran a little fast for my tastes, I would have liked to been able to pause or slow down time so I could plan better, but maybe that wouldn't be as fun!
Having the onscreen tooltips for the controls is a great idea for game jams! I'm definitely going to use that going forward. I was not able to get very far :(
Awesome idea, its like playing twister on your keyboard!
Congrats on making a functional game in Unity, it's not easy haha! With most of the jumps being blind, the platforming was a little frustrating. However the platforming felt good when I could see what I was doing- a good start for a bigger and bolder game!
I got to a cutscene and my mouse was hidden and I couldn't press "next" :(
Neat!
A fellow horse-and-stable game! Simple but fun.
Feels like a boss fight!
I like the application of traditional roguelike movement to a 2d sidescroller! I would love to see the concept taken farther.
The movement and package carrying felt really good. I would have liked a little more navigation help (a mini-map would've made it too easy, but maybe names or coordinates for each screen? Something to help identify/landmark the screen other than number of rocks)
Fun game! I think the tethers could be a little more forgiving- or perhaps an audio warning would have helped. All in all nice entry!
Cool demo. My mom always said "Great sounds make a great game"- you have the sound, now you just need the game!
This game made me laugh!
Fun concept. I wasn't able to tell if there was any rhyme or reason to the changes in the sand, so solving the level felt sort of random.
Classic. Simple game, but good execution (other than the ui bugs, but those are minor!)
Neat idea!
Mike Wazowski!
Congrats on your first entry!
A fellow horsey interpretation! Nice job!
I really liked the vibe of this game. With a little more work I think you could have a fun game that communicates the message you're going for!
Hilarious game! Very complete and polished!
It's a really cool game, but I was fighting the controls the entire time. Hope to see a post-jam version!
I like the twist on tower defense! I think there are a lot of cool things you could do with this game.
Cool entry! I wasn't sure what to do with the villagers, so I just gathered them around the fire to wait for our inevitable doom. Nice art and good controls!
There are a lot of cool things packed into here for 72 hour jam game! I especially like the way the music blends between the biomes.
Looks great, plays great. The audio volume balance was off, at least on my speakers- I found the dialogue a little too quiet and the sound effects way too loud. Impressive game for a 72 hour jam!
Awesome art and mechanics. It would be cool to see levels with increasing difficulty- for me it started hard and got hard pretty fast. Cool entry!
Great jam entry! Seems well set up for a post jam version!
I got trapped between the river and the shore :( really cool looking though, and impressive for the time constraint!
Great interpretation of the theme! I had some trouble figuring out a couple of them, but maybe I just need to brush up on my Greek myth. Nice job!
Neat game! A short tutorial that highlighted the process for the first turn, or even just a little more visual feedback (like cursor changing icons) might have sped up my understanding. I really liked the visuals too.
Really great entry, with a good tutorial. I hope you continue to work on it!
Neat puzzles with a great theme! Really polished even for a jam. I love how the skeleton watches where your cursor is.
Nice sharp looking game! I liked the refresh vs place decision making.
Really cool concept that gets surprisingly difficult!
The game was a little frustrating between the lava collision size and the puzzles trapping you if you didn't know what each step was going to do. The inclusion of a tutorial was awesome, and despite the difficulty the game is still very playable. Great entry!
It was a little hard to figure out what was what. The mood is great, and it's really polished visually!
Really great use of the theme. It got a little repetitive, because of the lack of enemy variety, and because I didn't feel there was any incentive to try to shoot anything but the missiles. Overall good entry!
*"The City of Zinj... every word of it was absolutely true!"*
Very cute art style! I would have loved to play with a controller. Nice job!
The changing of the character model and the pickups as you age was a nice touch!
Great entry, especially impressive for a game made in Scratch! Much better than my first game. It can be difficult to scope game jam games, and you pulled it off!
When you're ready to learn a new engine, check out Godot! That said, what is really important is finding an engine that works for you so you can focus on making games- I wasted much of my game development youth struggling to learn the latest and greatest game engine instead of actually making games.
Great game! I would have liked more visual or audio feedback for the bomb timer and the level scrolling down. Definitely something you should keep working on!
Looks really slick, and plays well. My only complaint is that the aiming starts while the camera is still moving, which made me want to aim right away but would also make me miss a lot of my shots.
I like the sense of speed! I would have preferred the player to bounce off the ground rather than go through it. Nice use of godot.
The monsters are great. I harvested 13, but then there were no more monsters to harvest for seeds :(
Cool game! The text was a little hard to read, but I liked the deck building!
Catchy music!
Ambitious making a minigame collection!
In the first 10 seconds the critter pushed me off the map and I got stuck :(
Very enjoyable worlds. It was easy to get lost- I pretty much just moved around until I could press 'F'. I wonder if there is some way you could use color to guide the player? ie always move towards red or warm colors? Cool game!
Having the use the tongue to give yourself a little extra momentum and jump distance is a great mechanic. Nice job!
Great art style
Very cute models, and just long enough to stay fun!
The nipples are a nice touch.
Well done in all aspects!
Whacky concept, really unique! I think the screen could have started scrolling a little bit earlier.
Great vibe and fun game!
Nice twist on Tetris, it is hard for me to go for matching colors over completed rows
Really cool and great look!
Good variety of minigames! I lost the first time because I read the contract before signing
Really enjoyed the flying. Took me a little bit to get used to the reset delay. Nice job!
Cool to see a home-made engine!
Neat idea! Cool puzzles, would be neat to see a post-jam version with slick graphics.
Hard and goofy, love the art!
I wish the difficulty went up as you played, because I enjoyed the core mechanic! It just never seemed to speed up.
Nice simple puzzle game with good juice!
A little confusing at first but I enjoyed it after I figured out some strategies over a couple runs!f
Neat idea, I'd love to see a more tuned post-jam version!
The deformation on the cars was perfect and hilarious.
I liked that the drawings reminded me of courtroom sketches!
Liked the ornate tile work and the staff. The reload was long enough I would have liked a reloading sound effect or visual indicator. Cool concept!
I little difficult but cool idea!
Nice start!
It felt like the camera was too zoomed in. Neat idea though!
We also did a drawing game, but the vibes are different!
I like when you fail and summon the janky squirrel.
Awesome art! At some point my character got spun around and I couldn't steer :(
Really neat. Simple and elegant! I really like that you have a color toggle (though I really like the grayscale look!)
A lot of depth! It took me a while to figure everything out, a tutorial would have been nice. Great job!
@lisek-gagatek I feel you on time crunch  I guess I should have specified *interactive* tutorial. There is the tutorial text at the beginning, and I admit I skipped over it my first time through, I think maybe the green text on a green background is hard to look at?
A lot of interesting ideas! A neat mix of RTS and god game.
Really great!
Neat game! I would have reversed the controls (left-click to squish, S to pickup), but great job!
Awesome artwork!
@peppersalt07 thank you for pointing out the missing thumbnail!
Super cute! Reminds me of my 9 to 5... only change I would make would be to outline all the hazards in pink/red.
Nice job!
Very novel! I felt like the collision for the player could be a little tight on the sprite, but I love the swapping mechanic!
I tried to take all the pills, but it seemed like they slid though the floor before I could get them all :(
Hello fellow submarine-game-made-in-godot! Love the graphics and the music, great vibes!
Nice twist on a classic.
Great jorb! Love the 19th trash.
Very relaxing! Great scope for Ludum Dare!
I just flew in from Seattle and boy is my thumb tired!
Really clever use of story to keep the game fresh by introducing the different movements!
The movement felt weird but otherwise fun and cozy!
Great look! Felt a little buggy :P
Nice and juicy! I feel ya with having the kids at home- great job!
Love the idea!
What a rush!
Great vibes! Felt cohesive and complete, great job!
Great idea and the gold pile was really cool! I found the controls and physics to be frustrating.
Lol. A little clunky, but cute.
Cool game, nice use of the theme!
Good concept, but the controls were lacking. I got stuck on the edge of a building over one of the long jumps.
Hilarious, we had fun! Sometimes the Game Over screen would appear randomly, and some levels would start with a nearly impossible layout for Michel. Overall very solid!
I think you succeeded in terms of theme.
Really innovative- the first game I've come across that is more than a gimmick. Looking forward to post-jam progress!
Great well-rounded game
An idea with some juice. Something like numpad support, or a better code reference, and I think it would be even more fun.
perfect.
Great polish, great twist on missile command.
love the slanted visuals
Much cooler idea and implementation then my microphone game!
Really cool concept. Couldn't really get a defense built beyond one setup. Great prototype, I'd love to see a fully featured version!
Everything very good. Except camera should be flipped so it looks ahead in the direction you are running, rather than lagging behind you. Great use of theme in gameplay mechanics!
I thoroughly enjoyed this.
