Really appreciate the innovation in the kind of turn-based movement when compared to other games. The game is decently hard and entertaining, just wish that there was some animation or something to liven up the aestetics of the gameplay.

Solid game though, and nice use of the concept of the theme.

Cool idea and hilarious interpretation of the theme

I played such type of games previously. But they were logical and I was moving multiple items.

Here is really innovative idea about vision. And crouch feature is cool too.

Very hard. But I managed to finish two levels.

VERY ADDICTIVE! But it is a plus.

I like the idea behind this, wouldn't have ever thought of this for the theme! The idea is funny, the music fits in perfectly, and the game is challenging but beatable (played to the end :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:). Fantastic job!

Very unique and interesting game, rather fun though gets boring after bout 20 mins. Didn't occur to me to use the theme in such a way. Art is not bad, cant say anything about music currently as my speakers are acting up.

Real solid game. loved that you CAPS the small world at the start. Actually laughed at that.

Cute and fun pixel stealth game. Funny text and audio to introduce the game, easy to use mechanics once I found the controls. Nice tutorial as well helping people getting into the game. You did a very nice god on this game. Keep up the good work!

I like these pixels and tunes

I love the idea of a turn-based stealth game. You executed it very well and you matched it well to the theme (similar to my interpretation of it)! The audio is nice too:)

Like @simple-blue said, the tutorial was a nice touch too.

Great job

I had a similar idea in terms of using "Small World" like that but couldn't tie it together. You found a fun way to implement it and sprinkled some extra innovation in there. Some of the levels are pretty well thought out and I certainly died quite a bit trying to beat them. Good job!

I loved this - lots of fun and harder that it first appears! Very original concept too! Died a LOT working out the optimum routes. Nice work!

Pretty creative take on the puzzle stealth genre. Would really like to try a level editor for this.

This is the second game I see about shopping in this jam! I wouldn't imagine that shopping was such a big deal haha. Very nice game, it's really cool how well thought are the puzzles, sometimes they are a little bit hard but it's good. Maybe something that would help as a feedback for players is somehow making the range of vision of each character a little bit more explicit, something like a long clear line, like in stealth games. A good game anyway.

A nice spin on theme. A fun but challenging puzzle stealth game, The music was very nice, those dramatic transitions were great! I enjoyed trying to figure out all the patrol patterns and sneaking around although it was a bit hard at times. Overall a fun game and nice experience. Great work!

Ha what an original take on a stealth game! I was pleasantly surprised at the engagement I had and the puzzly element of being turn based was fantastic. I actually found the second level to be the hardest one, so maybe the pacing is off in terms of ordering the levels. I also had a hard time learning the rules for when I could be detected or not but I eventually figured it out. (in particular when can I stand up from being crouched and when can I not)

Lovely music and excellent use of black screen to leave a highlighted sliver of you and your spotter at a gameover - reminds me of a giallo. I really enjoyed playing this, thanks.

athomicus 2017-05-11 13:48

super music and idea thx for fresh game I rerally enjoy

cheesymoo 2017-05-12 00:46

This is a good one! If solid snake had social anxiety!

makiki99 2017-05-12 18:30

You made one really hard puzzle game - but that's not bad! Your idea for a game was something that I'd never expect - not to mention it is done really well. Not to mention seeing "Walfart" made my day.

eli-delventhal 2017-05-12 19:24

Nicely done! Great and complete little game, and your use of the theme is great.

ryguydavis 2017-05-13 01:57

Excellent theme interpretation! I love the normal life problem meshing so well with standard line-of-sight mechanics which help me appreciate them as if they were totally new. The deadpan supermarket music was so appropriate and really set the tone in the best way possible.

My only two complaints are minor and sort of a given in such a small dev window. The first is that the movement is kind of jarring. People here are saying "animations" but I think that could be a bit misleading. You could keep everything exactly the way it is but simply slide characters to their destinations with an equation like x = x + (targetx - x) / 10. This is up to your taste and interpretation, of course. The second critique is that the game gets pretty hard pretty fast. I would have two or three levels with fewer moving parts before players have to contend with that level of complexity.

This one is getting high marks from me. Really great job everyone.

Hilarious game and nicely integrated theme. I loved the dramatic opening, especially with the sound for it.

It got pretty hard very fast, and it wasn't always obvious which way someone was looking but I guess that's part of the game.
