LD38 — A Small World

Dr. Plumb by phi 2017-05-15T02:43:51Z

Nobel prize winning surgeon here, can confirm the levels are similar to the human circulatory system and this is how surgery looks like.

Jokes aside, great puzzle game. Difficulty curve was well planned (for me).

Graphics is cute. loved the style >.<

The ambient music was perfect for this sort of unstressful/untimed puzzle game. Can easily see this being adapted into a sort of time attack puzzle game.

Looking forward to other games you make.

Cathode Way by garethiw 2017-05-15T14:01:05Z

After about an hour I gave up. Got stuck 4 times, starting rock screen, the white fence at start area right side on the inside, the corner of the map near the tower, and lift corner.

The webGL build parkour is near impossible with ~1 sec lag to every action.(chrome) Will download and try it out tmw if i have time and rmb.

So far, controls are intuitive but slightly buggy/unnatural. May be only for WebGL build.

I feel that there were alot of walking with nothing much going on. Though, again, likely due to me replaying the starting 3 times.

Otherwise, from what i can see, it's a very good game. If only it was more fleshed out.

Will be looking forward to your other games or if this game ever get expanded upon

Surprised that this many ppl know about The Witness/The Pedestrian. Isnt that well known here.

Nice game. Rather unbalanced though. Manage to make 800 planetary defenses and just took over everyone.

The pixel art syle for the planets was nice, though some of the planet's moon seem weird? Guessing you didn't have time for them.

Really hard to rate on mood considering there isnt any music nor any story/text.

Also, it seems that the game bugs out if you click stuff while contesting a planet and wouldn't let you do anything. (for me it was mars)

Wished there were more content like mutiplayer/more solar systems/random events etc

Bunosphere by torcado 2017-05-02T05:16:37Z

Very cool idea. Played it ~30 mins and got frustrated in the maze. It seems that whenever there are lots of trees/sprites on screen the movement becomes very jerky.

Otherwise, loved it!

Flovala by larzan 2017-05-03T12:10:18Z

Absolutely loved the mood and the atmosphere of this game, especially with the music/art complimenting it. Very peaceful though if the game ever gets an update/expanded upon, it may get repetitive very fast.

Solid game overall.

Apocalypse World Cup by Issac 2017-05-15T01:53:31Z

Played it with one of my friends, @akirassasin. Great game! ended up playing it for about 40 mins.

The intro/between level transition was awesome! Controls were easy to learn but it was not as easy to master it so that you end up actually doing what intended to do.

Would love it if there were more maps and an option for single player.

Also, though we didn't have any problems with the spinning, allow an option to remove the spinning as i can see people getting dizzy from it.

Otherwise, great game! Looking forward for other games you make.

The Pendant World by Jerm 2017-05-15T02:05:40Z

I have no idea what occurred from start to end.

Interactions was pretty err...normal.

Everything else i felt like saying is already in the comments above.

Though, it successfully made me curious enough to finish it from start to end so you have that going for you.

The world is (a) flat by Jordgubben 2017-05-15T15:03:39Z

I believe every that should be said is already said in the previous comments.

Very good use of the theme and surprisingly enjoyable.

MOAR Plz. Looking forward to your other games.

Antagonistic : Hamburger Hill by ryte2byte 2017-05-13T04:57:33Z

Oh man. It was a nice game! Manage to take 98% if the burger on first try :D

Honestly, there not much I can say to contribute as everything is already said in the earlier comments.

Though I dont think the continuous chain of chat at the start was necessary. Ended up not reading most of it. Perhaps either shorten it, paced it out throughout the game or make it so we can hit a button to skip to the next line.

slovenly shopper by jelch 2017-05-02T11:04:09Z

Very unique and interesting game, rather fun though gets boring after bout 20 mins. Didn't occur to me to use the theme in such a way. Art is not bad, cant say anything about music currently as my speakers are acting up.

Real solid game. loved that you CAPS the small world at the start. Actually laughed at that.

River Flow by slowian 2017-05-15T02:28:02Z

Nice puzzle game. The water speed was a tiny bit too fast for me.

The level menu showing the eventual path to the lava pool was a nice touch.

Levels and music are kinda repetitive after a few stages. Would love it if there were different music for each zone and a larger variety of tiles (tunnels, uphill requiring pumps that have to be powered by water wheels etc)

Also, an option for .8 speed would be nice too.

Oh. And your restart button wasn't working for some reason.

Small Obstacles by digitaldude555 2017-05-12T15:46:16Z

Overall an Okay game.

Controls weren't very clear and was stuck on stage 2 clicking spacebar/enter and standing on the button for longer thinking its those timed buttons things. Had to read the comments to figure out it was mouse click. The different levels of depth/size definitely stood out. Though I feel this could be improved by making it have more meaning as right now it basically functions as a typical door. Maybe make it change the player size or something.

Current difficulty is very easy for me. After I figured out the controls, each stage took less than a minute. Edit: After reading the other comments, I may not be a good reference point as I play Touhou pretty often.

Wish there were more levels and difficulties. Perhaps a timer/score for speedrun purposes.

In Good Hands by simple-blue 2017-05-02T04:58:49Z

Very Nice Game! Nice art, sound effects and UI!

Wished there was an easier was to rotate the planet clockwise/anticlockwise without shifting the whole planet.

Also, it be cool if we could control the moon to know out asteroids.

Death's Knocking by This_Gooch 2017-05-15T13:16:23Z

I admit it. i kinda jumped a little in fright every time death caught me.

Mood were spot on, graphics were good, music was ok.

The regular door locking sound and limited visibility really gets to the player. Great idea to implement those.

My record tied @piscythe at 1min 47s somehow.

Draw a Small World by ryan 2017-05-15T01:27:05Z

Solid....err..idk what to call this. 100/5 for graphics. You better win 1st place for graphics.

Very unique. Had quite a bit of fun.

Though I drew a fish for the animal. The results were....interesting.

Save the litle Planet! by igalencar 2017-05-12T15:54:15Z

Very impressive submission! The music and graphics drew me into the atmosphere of the game and ended up playing for quite some time.

A small nitpick from me is that I didn't know you could attack/roll until I died and returned to the menu. A simple fix is to make the text explaining the controls in the menu stand out more or place some in the game itself such as at the bottom of the screen.

Booster's Day Out by paulstraw 2017-05-12T16:23:44Z

Superb game. Love the graphics, especially when you crash >.<

The game is a little hard but it was satisfying when you succeed. Wish there were multiple difficulties though not sure how would go about implementing it. More fuel perhaps?

Also, the smoke line continuing even after death kinda ruins the "niceness"/"coolness" of the crash explosion.

Edit: Just found out its your 1st LD/game released! Congratz!

Gentrifry by bambivalent 2017-05-13T04:16:21Z

Overall a unique and rather solid game that could be a larger game by itself or a minigame in a game.

Loved the art style Wished there were more maps/difficulty as currently its too easy to win. On the last stage I spammed grandmas on every tile and won.

Tiny Invasion by James Hartley 2017-05-15T15:51:30Z

First of all, Congratz on your first LD!

Nice game you have. The art was great for your first LD and considering you worked alone. The SFX made the game more immersive but there is room improvements. The amount of different types of enemies for a game made for an LD is quite a number, and according to your post, there are some surprise enemies too. Though only 1 powerup? or did all 6 of my powerups happened to be the same?

The difficulty of the game is too hard in the bad way. "Bad way" meaning the player wouldn't be able to learn from it and no amounts of strategy could allow a player to play significantly better than a completely new player. From what i can see, the spawning of enemies are relatively random, and their spawn times are relative fast. Try experimenting with log curves or unity curves thingo to alter you enemy spawn rates.

Controls get a little confusing when upside down. a suggestion is to reverse the controls when the player is below, and JUST clicked a button. This allows ppl to hold in one direction while allowing left and right person playing to actually mean left/right.

Overall, a considerably good game for a first LD.

Meteor Mania by Selgeron 2017-05-12T16:12:33Z

First of all, congratz on your first LD. A very solid game considering this is your 1st LD.

The graphics and music complimented the game well and drew me into the game while the powerups/guns really added the spice.

The only problem is that the meteors can be slightly too difficult to be reached/responded to when its on the other side of the planet.

Otherwise, solid game.

The Small Black by Phlip45 2017-05-15T12:33:29Z

Interesting game. Though really unbalanced. Once i died from lack of oxygen after doing a 6mins repair even though I had 5 bars of oxygen left.

Making the game require more of some form of strategic thinking would be nice. Perhaps at low oxygen/heat you are less productive or when the generator is low, it takes longer time for help to reach due to weaker help signal or decreases effectiveness of oxy/heat generator.

Devoured Intellect by BoobMarley 2017-05-13T05:53:07Z

Very nice game! Manage to figure out who it was first try and later went back to see what would happen if i picked the others. Great idea to explain why they are/not the Intellect Devourer. The art was great and the personality of each character was very unique in a way where it really felt like i was talking to different people, not just 1 person writing the conversation for 5 people.

Though don't really feel that the story line really fits the mood/music.

Some stuff I like to point out/say about the story itself: - If they are in the same adventuring party, wont they realized that one of their members personality changed?

- They don't feel/seem like they are in the same party as none of their stories seem to be related nor do they seem to care about each other.

- The conversation with the characters doesn't reveal anything on how they know each other/how they got in this situation in the first place/what occurred reading to them being questioned. It may not be essential to the game itself but would certainly flesh out the story and each character more while allowing the player to understand the game's world better so they can make better deductions.

- Somehow related to my previous point, its difficult to relate to the characters even after tying to place myself in the character shoes. Though this is generally the case in short find-the-murderer story/games so don't worry too much about this. :)

Very good job though.

From Zer0 to Hero by carlosvVk 2017-05-12T15:25:43Z

Nice, simple, short game. Embarrassingly, it took me up to ~2 mins to figure out the i'm not supposed to be blocking everything. Was expecting...err...something other the different colored comets to appear that i can eat.

Loved the dialog/ending and the eye movement of the planets. And the flying black holes which I found funny for some reason.

Wished there were upgrades/different difficulties.

Not Enough Room by rubyleehs 2017-05-12T16:30:09Z

Not sure whats causing the controls to lag honestly. Not experiencing any lag on my end. Looking into it to see if i can make it more responsive.

Also, @pecolyte you can wall jump and alter your jump height with up/down/W/S

Not Enough Room by rubyleehs 2017-05-15T15:25:22Z

@james-hartley Honestly, my "planning" wasnt included in the creation time of 12hrs. and my planning time was like...6hrs as I couldn't think of anything else during my lessons/lectures. :P

Also, do you mind explaining what you meant by a meter?

Not Enough Room by rubyleehs 2017-05-15T15:58:58Z

@omarshehata Yeah. Plan to change it, but changing it would actually change about 25% or my player control script and since its not super gamebreaking nor does it affect the "soul" of what im trying to do, I kept it as I didnt want to make changes once the jam itself was over for the sake of fairness. May or may not be due to lack of time too.

Not Enough Room by rubyleehs 2017-05-16T12:26:17Z

@richard-michael-smith @nbilyk @philomory @slueta @atmospherium @omarshehata @meenners @fingamer @elsiana-eaves @jelch @makiki99 @stuntddude

Just revamped the controls! Now more responsive & less lag! Consider trying it out again if you have time ;)

LD39 — Running out of Power

RUN! Before the power runs out! by zenmumbler 2017-08-10T05:38:14Z

Fun game, but gets boring really fast.

Gems:

-Great choice of music, and aesthetic was decent.

-Screen shake added immersive-ness to the game

Potential improvements:

-More functionality for the boxes. Power ups/Obstacles?

-An actual key instead of a green room. Though a button/pressure plate would work better considering the doors you used aren't doors requiring keys.

-Something else to do. Be it avoiding zombies, or a sprint button and you tire out. Right now it's really plain.

That said, for a game made in 12hrs, still a really good job.

You Can't Handle the Tentacles by Chadivision 2017-08-13T08:01:59Z

Oh man, 8 pages of rules? With cards full of text too? Shorten it!

Since it's the rules, there isn't any need for things like "If the player is unhappy, the player may...". Just get straight to the point with "The player may...."

There is no need for the continuous reminder that the HQ is purely decorative. State it once in the important notes/rules and move along. Or since it doesn't have any function, just remove it.

The card text can be shortened greatly. eg. - x attack with y rerolls each. - top card of z deck is played for k cost - Add x number of item y to z location - Rolls equal or above k value is are z for n turns.

The game itself is not bad. Once you get the hang of the rules, the game can be pretty fast as it's single player, though because it's single player, the repetitiveness of the game is amplified. Though I find most board games are repetitive. Would be great if there were multiplayer.

Wall Charger Addict by Dege 2017-08-11T15:20:31Z

Got really repetitive really fast....and why am I bring those boxes around. and why is my phone battery draining while I'm carrying the boxes? Like...am I using my phone while carrying the boxes?

Man. That's dangerous. There should be a "Do Not Try This At Home" warning.

I'm an (nuclear) engineer! by zgragselus 2017-08-02T11:04:58Z

The webGL build aint working for me?

All i see is the default unity skybox before it turned black.

Tycoon by dob 2017-08-02T11:21:41Z

Really innovative game - though quite easy, never lost.

The SFX made the game surprisingly immersive. i played the 1st half before realizing my speaker was off but the 2nd half felt alot more immersive simply because of the satisfying exploding sound to go along with the scatter of blocks and the "hueh" sound from the opponent.

Though i would recommend the opponents not be political figures, while i am fine with it, i could definitely see others finding it offensive.

BewareThePower by maskinmask 2017-08-11T15:03:36Z

Great game! Most of the things that needed to be said have been already said by the people before me.

However, The game has the potential to have procedurally generated levels/paths which you may want to look into.

BugsTD by TheMonsterFromTheDeep 2017-08-10T05:25:43Z

Congratz on finishing the game in 12hrs.

Not bad for 12hrs, really wished UI was better as others had mentioned. More towers/enemies would have been great too.

Tales of a Hamster: A Clickable Journey by 0uicmoi 2017-08-07T13:54:35Z

Half-way through the game now, some things:

- The art and music were great! Though the music got repetitive pretty fast.

- Not bad for Humor-ness, there were times where I pushed air out of my nose in rapid succession. The whip and ugly sonic was unexpected. The scientist was adorable.

- After clicking on the engineer...a lot of times, it starts looking like ...pardon me, the male sexual organ. Not sure if you want that when people have to stare at it for a reaaaalllly long time. The head bobbing doesn't help in this case too.

- The left/right buttons should disappear or fade out more when you can't go anymore in that direction.

Half-way + 40 mins:

- This is taking some time, I really wished there was something more to do. Interactables or something. Like snuffing out and relighting the candlefire. Stopping the wind turbine blades. A ball to play with. Whatever. I just don't want to see head bobs anymore.

Embers by Mortadelegle 2017-08-10T05:19:45Z

Art was great, Gameplay is really unbalanced.

You can just keep collecting food and build the raft and win before the go hungry/insane.

No Sorcerer's Sky by TheFlyingKeyboard 2017-08-13T13:11:28Z

Everything has been said already. To not use up your points, I'm not going to say more. Though, I dig the art. Is it vector art?

Brittle Power by rubyleehs 2017-08-01T11:04:19Z

@hecticgrape

Really? I probably made it too hard then. I wanted to make the 1st stage hard, but not too hard. Currently if you just keep building power cells you can get past the first stage without building any offensive towers.

Caffeine Raid by Cataractar 2017-08-11T14:39:29Z

Amazing game, overall probably one of best games I played so far in this jam (though I haven't played much as I was busy)

The SFX for the footsteps/door opening really made the game tense and in turn, really immersive. Though it would be nice if the player could increase the volume for the SFX as it was kinda hard to hear for me playing without earphones in a semi-noisy environment.

ODISSEUS by MarkWolf 2017-08-13T08:18:10Z

Man a lot of things that I want to say has already been said.

A few I haven't notice anyone say, though I only read a few:

- Enemies during the space travel should appear out of nowhere. It would be nice too if it flies left and right too instead of disappearing at the bottom of the screen 1.5secs. Same with asteroids.

- The space travel time should be proportional to distance traveled. Feels random currently.

Overall a pretty good game.

Scale of Life by ilya_kozlov 2017-08-07T14:36:50Z

fes.png

First of all, amazing visuals and art style. Probably the best visuals so far in this jam and definitely the cutest.

The BGM, together with the "Aha!" and "Woo!", complimented the game really well, creating a rather immersive and addicting atmosphere.

However, more detailed instructions on when to click would be absolutely great. Took me a while to figure out when I'm supposed to click.

Another thing is the blue visual circle that is supposed to help you I think? Either not have it at all and let players judge by the rotating fireballs(?) or 1/8th the width at least. If you want to keep it this thick, make it so the width of the blue circle is constant during the "sucking in" as it would throw people timing off when using it as a timing tool.

Lastly, I don't think your high score value is working, mine was stuck at the value seen in the picture. Also, not too sure how it fits the theme.

Encounters by Valphera 2017-08-13T13:24:13Z

The graphics are gorgeous! The audio was good and some parts made me actually made me laugh. How did you even finish this in a jam O.o

Not very challenging, but in a good way. It's like one of those games people would play to relax after a day of work.

Probably the highest I rated so far.

Wayside : A world awaits you by TheCodeFactory 2017-08-05T07:00:27Z

Great entry!

I see that are quite a few comments already, i didn't read them all but i try not to repeat anything.

-Add a ceiling of sorts or limit max velocity/jump distance, i reached stage 20+ by simply zooming out and dragging further to jump from the start to the end.

-The platforms you can jump through shouldn't have hitboxes at the side. Either remove the hitboxes at the sides or make it more obvious/intuitive that you can't.

-Momentum doesn't feel conserved at all while jumping. its like i move to the UI shoot interface last point and a little bit more then fall straight down.

-A mute button + more variation in SFX/music, while the music is nice, a mute button would be too.

-more variation between levels. the levels got really repetitive after a while. Add more elements! moving platforms, powerups for wall jumping, one way/one time use walls/floors are a few that could add spice to the levels

AI Overlord Runaway by Agecaf 2017-08-02T11:01:49Z

This is....really impressive. How did you make this in 48 hours O.o

I see the the previous reviews mentioned quite a fair bit, so i try not to repeat anything they say.

The music was surprisingly similar Touhou music and was really good overall, one minor nitpick I have about the music is that there isn't more/ another separate one for bosses and the current one is easily forgettable.

The powers were pretty unique for a bullethell game, but made the game have too many buttons and too easy on lunatic mode. Perhaps make the powers cycle-ble with 2 buttons.

The art was great, though the bosses could have more oomph.

Low Power - Energy Management RTS by 3mpty 2017-08-07T13:44:32Z

Great game overall, quite a lot comments so I try not to repeat anything.

- The deck building screen was rather overwelming, I clicked play without expecting to be faced with a screen full of cards + text. Could definitely see people being turned off because of this.

- The fire particles from firing the cannons shouldn't be parented to the gun object. This makes it so the particles move when the head rotates which seems very unnatural.

- Are enemies supposed to keep spawning during build phase? If so, a reminder for players to hit the spacebar/next wave button would be nice. I ended up staring the screen for ~5mins wondering how long is the 1st wave.

- Tower placement OCD something something.

Get Energised! by GalaxStudios 2017-08-10T11:50:56Z

Interesting idea, for some reason it reminded me of the "Full of Stars" mobile game even though they are quite vastly different.

The game does require a lot more polish/balancing though. I tried ~6-7 times and I think my highest level was...2? 3?

Visually I won't say it was extremely pleasing, but it was ok. the UIs/Menus though could be improved upon.

A tutorial would be nice too.

LD45 — Start with nothing

Start with nothing by rubyleehs 2019-10-07T15:53:00Z

@akirassasin The word detection algorithm only knows the center of the objects, so for objects that are elongated in 1 direction only, it may be unituinitive how to place the objects such that the word/letters are recognized by it.

Start with nothing by rubyleehs 2019-10-07T19:42:43Z

@cybikitty Thanks! Glad you liked it. To be fair, if you only look at the game, it's pretty confusing what you need to do at the start. Was hoping the gif and the only controls being "Hold LMB to drag" will allivate some of that. :)

Start with nothing by rubyleehs 2019-10-07T23:34:39Z

@merkisoft have you tried spelling "end" ;)

Start with nothing by rubyleehs 2019-10-08T12:38:00Z

@sommerlilie @piegames @js104 Thanks for your feedback! I have improved the word detection so it should be very accurate now.

Start with nothing by rubyleehs 2019-10-08T21:13:03Z

@catie-jo Glad you liked it :) Was pretty had to go with a big scope for my idea, but I did my best to make it as sastifying as possible when you make progress while still being as minimal as possible. So it is wonderful to hear that my efforts paid off :)

Start with nothing by rubyleehs 2019-10-14T10:31:32Z

@rebtf Thanks. You could also try losing ;)

Fairytiles by fre 2019-10-08T00:09:29Z

Nice game! Managed to get 12/26 achievemnts in about half an hour. I was dissapointed that it doesnt accept all words. Despite that, trying to get the achievements was pretty fun! Adding a bit of audio/bgm would have set the mood really well considering how nice and cozy the visuals look. Also, minor bug - clicking on the tiles make it always show a "Q" tile for a moment.

Have you considered showing the word a player got was valid, but just doesn't do something? Better still, add to a words-found count? I too made a word/letter game for this jam and having a counter made "failures" aka words that don't do anything feel more like progress!

Become Human Again by Cybikitty 2019-10-07T19:25:58Z

Not bad. Jumping is a bit finnicky and sometimes doesn't jump at all.

Doodle Ball by Beritens 2019-10-07T20:10:46Z

Great game! Kinda addicting, would be great as a mobile game!

LD46 — Keep it alive

Meatball VS Gymzilla by davision 2020-05-03T17:03:14Z

Wow. Just wow.

Loved the visuals. For the first few times playing I kept getting distracted by how stuff looked. Also had to play around a bit to figure out what some of the mutations actually did, just needed it to be slightly clearer.

Gameplay was great, pretty fun. But playing a few times made it obvious that how "easy" it is depends on RNG. However, was never really screwed over by it to the point i felt it was unfair.

My Best Friend Has Many Tentacles (VR) by andyman404 2020-05-03T17:25:07Z

Wow, A VR game is super uncommon in a jam. Recently got a VR headset due to not being able to go out for Covid reasons so gave it a shot.

Oddly, it just showed me nothing the first time I ran it, but was ok when I forced closed and restarted it. Not sure if the issue was on my end. As you mentioned, there was lag at the start but was ok in maybe ~10-15 secs. Sometimes lag spikes for under a second, though it is probably more noticable coz VR.

The spells and art looked real good. Though I felt...constrainted by the lack of ability to adjust the camera/camera angle.

All in all, I think it would be a much much better game if you were given maybe a week instead. But for an LD? A bit ambitious but definately respectable.

Algernon's Flower by bentglasstube 2020-05-03T16:39:30Z

Item spawns can be pretty brutal and after a while it gets kinda repetitive.

A Friend by Echonia 2020-04-21T15:14:35Z

First of all, congratz on your first jam!

Sounds were great, visuals was too! Simple, but pretty effective at showing what is needed, espiecially if this is your first jam.

Gameplay was ok, but needed more. Fun for a while but I personally lost interest after ~10 mins, that said my tamagotchi died when I used to had it.

Theme-wise, a tamogotchi game fits it almost perfectly - tho is a ghost really alive? hmm >.<

Love all your games and this is no exception! Took a while to get used to remembering where vowels/consonents are in words.

To be honest, idk how else the game can be better. Maybe more colours that appear the further you go?

Battery Panic by HacksawUnit 2020-04-20T03:22:07Z

Wow great game!

Pretty hard to learn/get the hang of - had to restart a few times before I "got" it.

Can't help but want to see the battery chain have more...oomph. For example, seeing a sort of electrical chain and having those high voltage sounds as the power builds up.

Also, maybe I am too used to playing tetris, but I felt rotating pieces/placing them were a bit harsh, would have preferred more leeway/sliding.

Overall, while i love the concept, and its decently fun, I feel it could be wayy more sastifiying/fun with just a bit more work/polishing.

@abdurrahman-khallouf

You do have "orders" to fulfill :) They are the kind "messages" your "investors" are sending you!

Fulfill them and you get more "investments" and "investors"!

Though I could have definately made it clearer, especially for people unfamiliar with streaming/camgirls. Not too sure how, so if you have any ideas, send me my way and I add it into the post-jam version :)

Tbh I had nothing to new that others haven't mentioned yet not do I have anything constructive/feedback to give now. But I played the updated version for a short while and it definately felt more balanced. Though not too sure how much less buggy it is - not that it impacted gameplay/enjoyment much though >.<

Fantastic game with an interesting concept. Sounded great and visually - while relatively simple, was sufficient to not distract from the gameplay.

Decently challenging. Felt like there need to be more "progression" as despite after dying a few times, didn't really feel I learned anything that would have helped me survive longer.

Congratz on your first game/ludum dare!

Pretty good for your first time! Rufus(Rufas?) best doggo of jam. Would be nice of Rufus/rats moved they faced. Got the hang of it pretty fast but also got a bit unfair in terms of difficulty really fast too.

All in all, needs a bit more polishing a balancing.

To be honest, I don't have much to say that other people haven't already said. Congratz on making a game and even having a TRAILER for it. Impressive.

Gameplay wise, I feel the controls could have better, felt like it was slippery/input delays.

Great simple game, controls felt nice and was pretty fun. Looked great, Sounded nice.

However, lacking in content - which is ok for a jam. Feels more like a minigame that you would find in a bigger game than a stand-alone game.

Heyo, firstly, congratz on completing your first Ludum Dare and your 2nd ever Game Jam!

Likewise, I found it pretty hard to understand what I am supposed to do, but the game is relatively simple so I got the hang about it decently fast(I think).

Otherwise, Some of your UI text are scaled diffrently and are of different sizes. It would be better to keep it consistant.

Had issues getting in after trying multiple times.

Nice simple game, surprisingly fun for how it looked. Needs a bit more of a challenge and more content though.

With a bit more polishing and better graphics, I can see it as a minigame within a larger game. :)
