Interesting, but it seems to be too easy if you notice who has monster's legs sticking out of their ears (no one does). Quick game to twist your brain. Nice graphics and 'interesting' characters.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD38 → Devoured Intellect

Easy! :P
Nice deduction game btw. good job!
I like the illustrations. The various conversations are funny.
The only thing I'd gripe about was that it was hard to remember all of them. A note screen could be useful so players could think it through with less reliance on memory.
Great entry! Love the character design and the answers are funny. It could be a little bit harder. good job!!
Funny conversations and good characters. Could have some idle animations.
I really like the idea and the way the sound, art, and writing mesh together well. The only complaint is that I wish I didn't have to click the little triangle to advance, maybe just click anywhere on the screen when there aren't buttons?
I liked the dialog and I think it was a good take on the theme to have the characters saying that it's a small world. But the answer was a bit too easy and I think I would have liked it more if it had some twists and turns in game. Great job though!
Nice game. Great history and characters.
Very nice game! Manage to figure out who it was first try and later went back to see what would happen if i picked the others. Great idea to explain why they are/not the Intellect Devourer. The art was great and the personality of each character was very unique in a way where it really felt like i was talking to different people, not just 1 person writing the conversation for 5 people.
Though don't really feel that the story line really fits the mood/music.
Some stuff I like to point out/say about the story itself: - If they are in the same adventuring party, wont they realized that one of their members personality changed?
- They don't feel/seem like they are in the same party as none of their stories seem to be related nor do they seem to care about each other.
- The conversation with the characters doesn't reveal anything on how they know each other/how they got in this situation in the first place/what occurred reading to them being questioned. It may not be essential to the game itself but would certainly flesh out the story and each character more while allowing the player to understand the game's world better so they can make better deductions.
- Somehow related to my previous point, its difficult to relate to the characters even after tying to place myself in the character shoes. Though this is generally the case in short find-the-murderer story/games so don't worry too much about this. :)
Very good job though.
Hah this was pretty funny. Art was really nice too. Overall, I think it was a good game, my own gripe is that sometimes I felt it played more like a book than a game, as really you only make one decision at the end, for most of the game you're just listening to them. At the end, I clicked the GUY YOU SCREAMED RANDOMLY and then the second guy, where I was correct. Could be cool if the questions fed into new conversations and stopped the allowance of asking other questions, though of course that would have taken more time. This was nice for an LD!
Font was hard to read.I liked the art style.
Great art and really nice UI layout
All games should have a "Skip this shit, I'll figure it out" button :)
Nice music, art, and feel, and an interesting take on the theme. I enjoyed how different this was to most other entries I've rated.
2 small points: - Throughout the game I had a sneaking suspicion that there was more to the info parchment (besides the first page) that I just couldn't figure out how to access. (there isn't, is there?) - The "success" music was a bit jarring
Otherwise, this was a very entertaining 10 minutes. Thanks!
Great game! I loved the art and music. They're varied, professional and add a lot of polish, especially for a game made in a weekend. I also really enjoyed the idea of the game. Reminded me a lot of the voight-kampff test from Blade Runner, but the fantasy twist was funny and entertaining.
Really polished game! Would be cool to see some more levels or something down the line :D
Thanks for your submission. Hope you enjoyed your LD and that we'll see you again another time!
Really engrossing whodunnit mystery. However - SPOILER - actual culprit threw me off, because he was acting just like stereotypical representant of his profession (well, maybe slightly dumber).
Too bad you do not want to be rated for graphics, because I loved it. Besides graphics I adored the dialogs and complete mood of the game. Nice entry indeed.
solid game! unique graphics style, and interesting conversations. i love dungeons and dragons, so this was definitely up my alley. :^) good job!
