LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Oh My Beard! by StaNov 2016-01-03T20:44:00

Collecting you minions was fun, in particular sense of progression (from 4 puny bees to entire army). My main complaint is that gameplay was too dependent on exploiting enemies pathfinding. Sounds were hilarious.

Mobsferatu by CremaGames 2015-12-17T07:19:00

Beautiful game!

Super-Bubba-Awesome-Space by Roffe 2015-12-15T21:25:00

Own engine? That's impressive. For me the biggest issue was camera angle, it was really difficult to estimate ship position in relation to asteroids. You could also consider adding some audio (or perhaps it was intended because sound doesn't propagate in space?:P)

Go Fish by joekinglake 2015-12-19T18:50:00

Gameplay is very minimalistic, but the game itself is very polished, with pleasant graphics and fitting music. Nice, relaxing atmosphere.

Very Hungry SNAKE by boddiul 2015-12-15T21:11:00

Well, that escalated quickly! Really nice spin on old classic. Frankly, I was silently hoping for fourth stage, where you would devour entire galaxies. Oh, well.

2Fight by Julgodis 2015-12-17T07:29:00

Very good idea with combos controls.

The Mad Circle For The Glorious Dice Tower by Volatile Dove 2015-12-18T22:43:00

Photorealistic;) graphic and perfectly fitting OST with mutiple tracks (no, I'm serious, it fits, especially in auto-mode). Would like some feedback how well I'm doing (score or timer).

The Dark Knight March by abuzreq 2015-12-20T13:10:00

Liked the random speedups. Enemy placement was too predictable, and sometimes the gap in their ranks was on the inaccessible lane, so you had no choice but to march through. Another thing I liked was that due to physics you could take some enemies for a ride with you, and even break next row ranks with them. UI needs readability improvement (in my case it was black text on dark blue background).

Capling by Xgor 2015-12-18T23:02:00

Nice, it's hard to get correct rhythm. Simple, but really addictive.

Little Unstable Planet by Mekuri 2015-12-15T21:39:00

"The Little Prince: The True Story". Really dig 50's retro future feeling in this one. From the dev point of view, I especially like how you've forced Player to depend on his hearing to detect asteroids incoming from the other side of the planet - really nice concept.

Colony 3028 by klianc09 2016-01-03T20:27:00

RTS? Very ambitious for a jam. Controls could use improvement (selecting units in particular).

OVERGROWN . UNDERFED by Almax27 2015-12-20T12:42:00

Great artwork. Controls felt bit weird in current state - thief was the only once who can run while shooting, but with all characters you cannot change direction while in shooting state (and also for the next ~0.5 sec). Since you already have mouse controls implemented, maybe you could use mouse for direction when shooting and A/D for movement? Liked how each character class really did feel different.

The Seed of Love by fullmontis 2015-12-19T16:00:00

I really liked how the choices regarding the plant were supposed to reflect main character's way of thinking. Nice story and great use of "growing" theme.

yaschiki by nuprahtor 2015-12-17T07:17:00

Nice, creepy game, with some crazy music;) Controls a little bit difficult thou.

Cideogen by Crefossus 2015-12-20T12:29:00

Interesting concept with growing sword. Artwork is incosistent between characters and environment, maybe you should keep characters in the same minimalistic blocky style. Physics need some polish (crucial in platformer).

Snow Goat Avalanche by loxo 2015-12-17T07:26:00

Simple but addictive.

Tale Of Two Buttons by RevelBase 2015-12-15T22:56:00

Control two buttons using two buttons? It really takes a moment to get used to controls (yeah, I know there only two buttons, but still) - not only you need to steer two characters in two separated levels, one of them is upside down! Visually game looks really nice and together with upbeat music fits well into carefree story of two buttons traversing the textile world.

Track Jumper by BobmooJ 2015-12-18T18:52:00

Minimalistic approach works pretty well in this case. Pick-up sounds clash too much with the music

NGHGM by Stals 2016-01-03T21:21:00

Awesome!

Impulse by Nega Drive 2016-01-03T19:33:00

Nice graphics and fitting music track. Ship controls feel very smooth.

Tobias by martymon 2015-12-17T07:28:00

So turns out my brain can remember only 15 choices:-p Nice idea;)

A Genetic Mess by sprawl 2015-12-19T16:44:00

Very nice concept, would like to see it finished and properly polished. Unfortunately, my monsters when trying to escape usually just fell over and chilled until their endurance ran out - I must have failed as a trainer:< Good music selection, UI could use some improvement (font scaling in particular).

My Space Empire and Me by Calciumtrice 2015-12-19T17:14:00

"Large and in charge." Absolutely hilarious, mostly thanks to your stunningly competent skills as a writer. Go for the post-compo version! I'm sure it will be boss as heck!

Grava-Switch by danidre14 2015-12-17T23:21:00

Nice concept. Good call on adding customization. Colors changed too quickly, maybe it would work better if they faded gradually.

BUBBLEGUM UPPERCUT! by Garris 2015-12-18T21:28:00

Very nice dynamic - whole screen feels like it's in constant movement, with giant rosebud leading the way up. Nice music and VO. Controls are challenging at first, but after a while you can get used to them. Overall, very polished and pleasant to play.

Isle of Plenty by doitle 2015-12-19T19:14:00

Guess two buttons are not plenty enough.

Deflext by Adam Gould 2015-12-17T23:58:00

Jedi simulator? Awesome! Gets a moment to used to, but the gameplay is really smooth. Great idea with adding additional elements, like different color projectiles working on different enemies, really forces you to think on your feet.

Growtye by Goutye 2016-01-03T19:44:00

Few different mechanics + challenging AI (they always blocked me from getting blue spheres). Overall, very nice.

Billy's Big Day by Kitty553 2015-12-17T23:48:00

Surprisingly funny for a such a simple concept. Gets quite challenging later in the game.

The Rocket Mistake by ajayajayaj 2016-01-03T20:10:00

Gets a moment to get used to, but controls actually work well and are main strength of the game. Game over animation is too long after several deaths.

UpUntilTheNight by kaa 2015-12-17T07:25:00

Very nice idea, though a little bit confusing at the beginning. I like the art work.

SUPER SCIENCE CORP by Hot Box Games 2015-12-17T21:53:00

Atmospheric sci-fi top-down shooter in the vein of Hotline Miami. Though not obvious at first look, enemies are surprisingly varied, with various stages and abilities and main weapon can be upgraded with new attacks through the game. Overall, very nice.

Cave Adventure by Yvanor 2015-12-18T22:50:00

Wild ride. Challenging, and controls layout is not making things any easier. Cool graphic style and music, with shop to spend your heavily earned money. Could use some more SFX.

Rockets Hate the Moon by nodens 2016-01-03T19:24:00

What that poor Moon has ever done to those rockets? IMO moon should be further, currently single playthrough is too short.

Super 'Christmas Tree' Tycoon by Conk 2016-01-03T19:17:00

Very nice concept. UI could use some streamlining (like selecting your "Christmas trees" just by clicking on it, without going into info tab on your phone first). Could also use some visual feedback on "trees" condition, like drying out when unwatered without checking stat bars.

Adder & Squoji: Daily Grind by Gunzil 2016-01-03T19:01:00

Gameplay makes very good use of the theme and everything feels very smooth. Character graphics style is very cool too. Only things standing out as inconsistent are bubble speech graphics and fonts.

Santa Rush by Dohxis 2016-01-03T18:54:00

Nice graphics, but controls need improvement. IMO it would work better if Z instantly changed Santa's direction instead of deccelerating/stopping him first.

You can't see but you can feel by Cliff Lee CL 2016-01-03T19:47:00

Very nice use of audio.

Black and White by Tromino 2016-01-03T19:51:00

Simplistic, but well realized.

Hey, My Name is Joe! by Pixelaborate 2016-01-03T20:06:00

Last days get very challenging. It's incredible how much just inverting two keys can mess with my brain:P

Z4KM4STER - Zookeeper DJ by candlesan 2016-01-03T20:19:00

Amazing use of sounds/music. Very well executed. Visuals are a bit Spartan though.

Top Secret Tamagotchi by razzle_dazzle 2015-12-15T22:17:00

Really addictive resource management sim with cool theme. Very well thought through design, lot of content and features. Awesome!

Drez-eX by Leaghorn 2015-12-18T21:36:00

Very moody. Beautiful visuals and original eati- I mean, absorption mechanic.

I managed to get some null refs though;)

SPAM Simulator 2015 by Skazma 2015-12-15T19:38:00

Now, that's a great concept! Ever wanted to be a spam filter? Well, now you can. And - I'll be damned - from what I see game is even moddable! You can add more addresses and messages to .txt files. Really nice.
(Little heads up, guys - "SPAM Simulator 2015" is missing ".exe" extension, had to add it manually).

MANE by Enchae 2015-12-18T22:18:00

Great introduction to story, poor Mane... Pixel art quality is very good. Gameplay is challenging, and you will die a lot. My only complaint is long time it takes to try again after death, it really breaks the flow.

Forks and Porks by tanis 2015-12-18T22:58:00

Pretty funny, if minimalistic. Would like to see those bonuses, that didn't make the cut. Sound effects fit well, but some music would be nice.

Garbage Can you escape? by Weloxux 2015-12-18T19:45:00

Simple idea, but with a lot of funny stuff thrown in. Gets challenging, as tempo increases. Area on sides of conveyor is a bit empty, could use some more (perhaps humorous?) objects to liven up an environment.

The Tie Game by Dejvo 2015-12-19T15:21:00

Great approach to the theme. Nice idea on simulating tie growth by scaling down environment. Tie physics were a bit wonky, tie itself was too rigid, it would more funny if it was flapping around. Music track could be longer, as it is now looping moment was too noticeable.

Earth Invader by nihilaleph 2015-12-18T19:25:00

Nice narration and mood. Graphics style was a bit inconsistent (e.g. hp/power bars didn't fit). Gameplay was very challenging, both for me and my keyboard. Overall, not bad!

Fktaghn by Batoust 2015-12-18T19:56:00

Nice environment and enemy art. Game itself could use a bit more effects (for example attacking animation and I couldn't hear any audio despite having them enabled in options). I also think I got stuck at the end of the level (I couldn't go further right, and there was nothing else for me to do).

MutiVeg Labs by EwChap 2015-12-18T19:13:00

Original idea. Lot of potential in trying to find all possible combitions.

The Organization by Somnium 2015-12-18T20:23:00

Resource and risk management sim. I especially liked the dry corpo-villainous tone of narration. What could use improvement, is a backstory behind the missions - like in the beginning, when selecting between Markham and Anderson leads to two different sets of missions, each with some more backstory, too bad later missions become very generic. Still, really liked the concept, and with more time after jam, I hope you're going to expand on this.

Catalyst by MoreRPG Team 2015-12-15T19:40:00

Ecology meets Go. Interesting gameplay mechanic, involving a healthy dose of strategy - should I put undesired spheres in one group? Spread them out? How will they interact when different groups meet? Visuals and music fit into calm atmosphere of the game too. Could use some polish though.

Jungle Climb by squirrelbot 2015-12-17T23:32:00

Endless runner in classic art style. Environment and obstacles could use some more variation. Controls need reworking, with current scheme it was too hard to avoid obstacles.

keep it growing by arseneauol 2015-12-15T22:58:00

Not sure if anyone mentioned already, but there seems to be no link.

Hosting Bowels - Diet of the Tentacle by 01101101 2015-12-15T19:52:00

Refreshed version of "Russian Eggs" with a parasitic twist - don't steal too much food or your host will starve! Really top notch visuals and music.

The Great Adventure of Wania Romanow by kristoverek 2015-12-15T20:13:00

That was... interesing. From Ebola outbreak to kozachok dance-off? Sure, why not:) Visuals are actually not bad if a bit inconsistent, but gameplay could use some improvement.

The War of Japants by Blobo 2015-12-18T21:15:00

Very cool endless runner. Part with small stone brick island in between gets me every time though. Ancient mode definitely improves the mood, IMO should be enabled default. Music get repetitive very fast, probably because I keep hearing only first few seconds due to my inability to stay alive for any extended amount of time;)

Awe, Chute. by BunkeyGames 2015-12-17T07:21:00

I like the music and the overall mood. Gameplay is a litte hard.

Toy Garden by Team>Nice 2015-12-15T23:15:00

OK, seriously, there's something weirdly captivating about this game and I cannot figure out what.

High Noon Swinger by saucygames 2015-12-17T07:20:00

Very addictive game! Nice idea;)

You by jofra 2015-12-18T23:16:00

Very nice art style and use of sound. Would love to see some story set in those environments.

Ending by marmpa 2015-12-18T23:32:00

Two buttons theme use in this one is really great, but growing graphic is just irritating - in fact, I thought it was a bug at first. Graphics are very basic, but I get that they're not really a focus.

Rooter by AuthorX 2015-12-18T23:45:00

I think grid based level hurts gameplay, it would be more challenging, if you could turn at any moment. Right now it's to trivial to get max possible score. The randomly generated obstacles would also force Player to think on his feet.

Cant Stop Moving by Darkflint 2015-12-18T23:39:00

If there really was some algorithm for detecting rhytm/spectrum of the music implemented, and displaying prompts accordingly it would be totally amazing. Anyway, kudos to whoever uploaded Nuclear War:D

The Bulb by Radnap 2015-12-17T22:49:00

Can see GBA inspiration, graphics look pretty OK. Gameplay reminds me a bit of the biggest scourge of contemporary game design - quick time events, but hey, not bad!

Paul's Game by Jordan Smith 2015-12-19T17:39:00

Main idea with figuring out the "rules" was very nice. Actually most difficult part was figuring out machine input format (could use symbols instead of letters), even after watching tutorial. Some music and maybe more SFX would be nice. Overall, solid concept.

Plank by Sir Magic 2015-12-17T21:28:00

Pretty nice concept. Could use more varied and complex levels to fully show off game mechanics, but definitely works as a proof of concept.

Chris Rostcowsky - The game by Shovix 2015-12-18T21:52:00

Great "vintage" visuals and music, consistent through entire game. Gameplay is pretty basic. Bonus points for nostalgia.

Just Another Shooting Game by behzad_robot 2015-12-17T22:40:00

Ironically, not JUST another shooting game. Despite minimalistic visuals, game defends itself with non-trivial concept and pretty challenging gameplay. Adding second controllable character was also a nice touch.

Super Wall Jump by Peekotus 2015-12-15T22:40:00

At first it was really hard to get into correct rhythm to climb up, but when you manage, progress really feels great (until you get hit by a barrel and fall helplessly smashing all buttons in panic... all the way down into the water). Add pixel art and catchy but endlessly looping theme in the mix, and you get a great piece of old school, Nintendo hard entertainment.

Steve's misfortune by AdamsMcCall 2015-12-17T22:02:00

Platformer with very original spin on controls, allowing for some funny puzzles - ranging from time based, to logical ones. Kudos for level design!

Ball Street Journal by modenv 2015-12-15T21:56:00

Now that's what I call a "hostile takeover"! Probably best free market portrayal I've ever seen. On technical side, game is well polished - city landscape looks great (thanks to unique stylistic choice) and AI enemies behave better than your average Agar.io Player.

Don't Be FAT by Mr_Fudd 2015-12-17T22:05:00

Yeah, I wish there was pizza raining from the sky:<

Son by Henriq 2015-12-15T20:30:00

Nice atmosphere (and music choice)! As others said, gameplay could use some mix-up, it becomes repetitive quite fast. Narration could also use some improvement - presentation is mostly limited to text - but story is interesting.

Actually, I wonder if it could work better without any game-ish elements (they feel tacked on now) and instead with more focus on narration only.

Tinder for Dinosaurs by marveus 2015-12-18T19:36:00

"And remember, some dinosaurs might have lied on their profiles or used deceptive profile pictures." Absolutely hilarious and completely wrong on sooo many levels. Great writing. Only thing missing was replayability, could use some randomization of available dinos from bigger pool per day.

EXPURGET by xodene 2015-12-17T23:25:00

Reminds me of One Finger Death Punch. Interesting choice of art style;)

Nervous_game by luysse_l 2015-12-19T17:02:00

Really could use info about controls somewhere in the game. Platforming was quite challenging and the "can't move back, so don't screw up" was working well. Music was nice, but getting kicked to main menu and hearing it restarting not so much. Robo hat was behaving weirdly when jumping around.

Vampires suck! by chriiis88 2015-12-17T23:05:00

Fun concept with forcing Player to use vamp-o-vision just for a split second to find your victims among the crowd. The whole vampirism spread aspect could be a bit better accented though.

Fluffy Horde by publicidadeba 2015-12-15T20:52:00

Hilarious and well done! Very complex concept for a game jam, and yet, great execution. Intro alone makes it my instant favourite.

Light Gates by Korhain 2015-12-19T15:11:00

Growing concept was a bit underused, it was safer to stay at minimal size and just take point for touching one gate end, instead of trying to score both while crashing into something. Gameplay was too slow for this type of game, less enemies with faster ship speed would could be just as challenging, but more fun to play. Good selection of art for ships, they look very nice.

Normal Factory by exhidor 2015-12-19T16:17:00

Pretty good concept with easy to grasp, hard to master gameplay. Catchy tune and tidy graphics. I felt like sometimes window for inputs was shifted in time to what I saw on the screeen.

Feed your demon by MrYoglu 2015-12-18T21:43:00

Great art and atmosphere. Controls are a bit hard (long swinging cooldown and short range make it hard to dispose of enemies). Good call on adding some randomization for replayability.

AGENT 007 by DominoGames 2015-12-19T19:06:00

Nice throwback to classic Atari games. Gameplay is too easy compared to its spiritual predecessors and game could use more variation (more obstacles and enemies).

Santa Fire by cousin_e 2015-12-18T21:06:00

Heads up - check the link you posted, you must accidently copied in two links at once! Thankfully, using my superior pro leet hacking skills, I was able to extract link to game itself.

Currently, gameplay is not fully finished, namely there's no losing condition (getting hit doesn't take away lives) and no score counter. Art is quite pleasant. As for mechanics, movement and fireballs should be bit faster to make it more dynamic.

Survive 120 by flakoflak 2016-01-03T21:05:00

So... if they wait too long for the elevator, they commit suicide? That seems like overreaction.

Controls were off, felt like inputs were being queued, sometimes elevator could change direction between floor, sometimes not.

Jimmy's Day by emma 2015-12-17T07:24:00

Very nice narration driven game, you're a good story teller.

Gardener Galaxy by pro-hat-switchers 2016-01-03T20:59:00

Nice atmosphere. Could use better feedback on when exactly Player is supposed to press the key.

Parallax by triello 2015-12-19T19:58:00

Very nice style and atmoshpere. Gameplay wise, enemies tended to often to fall on my head killing me for my liking;)

Hero's War by murlsousa 2015-12-17T07:25:00

Nice idea, good gameplay, but after scoring 11300 points I was a litle bit bored.
But definitely a base for something more;)

Fight Boý by ssodelta 2015-12-18T23:25:00

Pretty nice, mostly carried by combos mechanic. Enemies tend to stack in lines, maybe they shouldn't block each other?

Growing Circles by RoynLimb 2015-12-18T20:51:00

For a first Unity game, physics and controls are nicely balanced. Few simple improvements ideas:
- Use higher resolution asset for you Player character, so it's scaled down at the beginning, not scaled up later (scaling up causes visible artifacts).
- Make other cirles movement more randomized (directions and speed).
- Add some losing condition - e.g. when colliding with circles bigger than you - so player has some incentive to stay in game (in this case - avoiding bigger enemies while growing).
- Add some audio, even just simple slurp sound when you devour other circles. There's a lot of Creative Commons and Public Domain sounds and music available, and it can improve playability very much.

Astel's Journey by Dasky 2015-12-19T19:52:00

Atmopheric, with nice visuals and music, but gameplay is too simple. Had major stutter when hitting the star (before being thrown back to main menu.)

2 Growing Buttons ... by psypol 2015-12-17T07:18:00

Awesome idea!

LD38 — A Small World

InDepth-VirusOutbreak by NoobDude 2017-05-12T17:45:25Z

I was instantly reminded of Spore too. More feedback when you get hit (and maybe mercy timer after getting hit?), clearer rules for progression (Leveling does anything except increasing max HP? How much I need to eat to level up?), more upgrades (and maybe current ones could have several stages, right now it's very easy to quickly buy everything and then there's no real reason to push further), and it can turn pretty cool.

What's sub? by Satyre 2017-05-15T20:53:39Z

Maze runner with minimalistic art style. Cool use of lighting effects, but gameplay could use more mechanics.

Walkabout by Galan 2017-05-02T14:47:41Z

I love how whole game was basically an elaborate setup for unexpected theme drop followed by application quitting. Great comedic timing:D

Planet04 by geck0 2017-05-09T21:18:40Z

Nice concept and environment execution. Truck was hard to control, particularly for me it seemed to slide to the sides, and very limited time on quickly stacking up orders didn't help much. After some rebalancing could definitely see it working - maybe some expansion upon basic idea, with selectable orders, upgrades for your vehicle, some sim elements like buying fuel, etc?

Evolve by Rudra Nil Basu 2017-05-15T21:35:04Z

Graphics are minimalistic but effects, color palette and lighting are really cool. The "barrier" circle looks off with visible pixelation when compared to other smooth circles. Would like to maybe restart from last resize, since beginning seems very slow and throws me off the rhythm. Overall, fun and challenging.

World Tours by Mathiouza 2017-05-09T21:07:58Z

Simple and short classic platformer. Collision detection was a bit wacky, and when dying game seemed to respawn me back by specific distance - meaning at least once I respawned back right into fire and died on spot. Oi oi oi:P

Arthropoda by Atmög 2017-05-15T21:23:45Z

Awesome turn-based strategy game! Balancing you military and economy spending while dealing with limited resources availability gets surprisingly challenging.

My feedback: - it could use tutorial or some hints (like how much ants cost, and what are SPECIFIC differences between ant types), currenlty it's a bit of trial and error - configurable AI (shame to admit, but I got annihilated) - configurable map size (newbies could start on small maps to just learn the game, later on you could get complex maps with more water which right now is very underused) - managing each worker gets tedious when controlling more of them and getting further from the anthill, it would be great to allow Player to just point at resource stack, and let ant handle both getting there and bacl (if control is not taken over manually).

World of Memes by rodancheg 2017-05-15T21:44:49Z

I don't even.

Space World by lagoe 2017-05-12T17:18:34Z

Asteroids with a twist. Controlling Earth was pretty hard, with huge inertia, but I guess that's to be expected when you're flying entire goddamn planet. Wish there was more objective oriented gameplay with collected humans acually useful in some ways (like them building some kind of planetary defense system and helping you shoot meteors down.)

Get Off My Lawn by xentai-inside 2017-05-01T16:22:20Z

Simple throwback to classic Contra, but surprisingly fun. Art is pleasant for the eyes too. It was sometimes hard to stay on the ground with monsters crawling below. Would love to see more action from the final boss (I didn't even notice I destroyed the guy since I was instantly kicked back to menu:P).

This world is mine! by Sergigd 2017-05-01T16:20:39Z

Very polished turn-based game! Hope you'll continue developing this one after the jam - more maps and units? Another suggestion would be to automatically end the turn when all of your units run out of actions.

Curses and Coconuts by testlab 2017-05-12T16:49:49Z

Pretty cool minimalistic survival game. Nice visual effects, particularly when killed skellies are devoured by sand. Could use more gameplay features - lives, powerups, maybe traps or other buildables to help you in your endeavor?

Western World: The Traitor by Julian Creutz 2017-05-12T17:54:42Z

Really original concept and great execution. Reminds me a bit of Westerado style-wise. Both art and music are spot on, and controls are responsive. Love how medium limitation (2D side scroller with only 2 types of sprite) actually adds to the gameplay by causing chaos and confusion, obscuring traitor's actions and baiting you into accidently killing an innocent. Great work!

Noe 2139 by Who_ciechu 2017-05-01T16:21:07Z

Input is definitely broken. I was actually able to "almost" move correctly during one game, but then I hit an obstacle and my character started going diagonally in random directions. If everything was fixed, it would be reasonably nice arcade game.

Tiny Planet by Matt Fabius 2017-05-12T17:12:23Z

Puzzle game with RTS controls. Rotating planet turns out to be pretty common theme during this LD, but this one is pretty polished - I mean, functional tutorial? Nice. Each planet seems to also differ, with unique palette. WebGL build turned out pretty quirky forcing me to restart thrice, although my Firefox might be to blame. Options button seem to be non-functional. Another issue is lack of music or at least ambient - it would greatly improve the mood!

Well, that was... special.

Very fun frenetic 3D bullet hell. Concept isn't particularly original, but visuals, audio and controls make gameplay smooth and exciting. As others mentioned, I'd like to see more interactions with structures on the planet (even as simple as smahing into the buildings and exploding). Solid!

Chill and cute story about helping others. I liked the graphics and whole concept of moving around (and off) the planet with jetpack and atmosphere was great, but controls are really all over the place, and interaction zones are not very clear (e.g. to talk with a goat, you neeed to actually move somewhat in front of it). Hope you're going to eventually polish it, because the game world seemed to actually have much more to offer.

Hexoworld 9999 by Lugdumdare Team 2017-05-09T21:45:04Z

Loved the idea of planet made of destroyable segments,! Visuals and music are spot on too! Powerups could use some balancing though, like limited amount of time - later in, you can just keep holding one arrow button, and every asteroid gets obliterated without much strategizing on Player's part. Maybe initial movement speed and asteroid frequency could be decreased, and then steadily increase with time instead? Anyway, definitely one the most polished LD entries.

Definitely one of this Ludum more ambitious entries. Loved the idea of exploiting different people schedules and conducting investigation in semi-real-time. 8-bit art complemented cyberpunk setting nicely, although would like to see stylization go all the way (character moving by pixels instead of smoothly, maybe more chiptune inspired music). Overall, really nice adventure game!

Devoured Intellect by BoobMarley 2017-05-16T17:45:09Z

Really engrossing whodunnit mystery. However - SPOILER - actual culprit threw me off, because he was acting just like stereotypical representant of his profession (well, maybe slightly dumber).

Really nice attention to detail (e.g. seagull shadows corresponding to their height or dropping fruits from palm tress by shaking them)! Minimalistic art approach works well with the concept too.

Food Force by Kinjin 2017-05-01T16:17:02Z

Really original setting that fits the theme. My biggest gripe would be somewhat slow reaction to input. Would love to see the score too (time survived/food consumed)?
