Pretty funny!! xp Not much about it but great!
Great concept and it's very challenging! Being easily killed and being thrown back to the beginning... So harsh xp. I got to the point where I would just stand still where they shoot me but always miss me kkk. The camera movement took a while to get use to though.... I got really dizzy until the end >.<
Anyway, great job!
I don't know if I played it wrong but it seemed that the stones were destroyed only by touching them (and the unicorn farting afterwards) and pressing spacebar made it fart but didn't seem to do anything. But still great idea xp
Nice game! Loved the art and the mood! But I got stuck after getting the key too >.<
Oh I feel so stupid now... Beat it now! Thanks! And great work!
Great job! I loved the theme, the mood and all! Like most people here, I can't beat it, too hard for me xp I'll watch the video for sure!
Great job! Awesome art and music! I was a bit lost in the beginning though.. I thought the banana only stunned the beast, and don't quite understand what the detonator is for xp
Great game! The lack of sound effects really kills the mood a bit >.< There could be more enemies though... I got to a point where nothing else came at me...
Also I got really easily both Excalibur and Masamune! Don't know if I'm really lucky or if the drop rate is high xp
OMG, I should go to the lottery then! xp
Btw, great modding system! Great job!
Can't quite rate this game because I have no 2nd player T_T But still it seems like a good game! Controls are a bit tricky but I guess with some practice it should be ok! Good job!
Great work! Loved the setting! And I really like text adventure ^^
=====SPOILER ALERT======
Well that's not fair, the weapon being something completely random xp I was able to figure out the killer and the place though ^^ (I was certain after I read the code too kkk)
Great idea! I really liked the concept and the mechanics! The music also gives a good mood!
Although like everyone else i feel the lack of an objective.
Won't have time to play all the game before the time ends, but what I was able to play, pretty neat and beautiful game!
Great job! Good graphics, fun and gross concepts kkk
Got a bit lost in the end... Do I have to do something or just keep scratching my brain?
Great job! At end game was a bit hard not to hit less than 4 people xp Got killed by a soldier but got 140 people and was the no.1 spot for gods and heroes XD
I wish I could rate your game properly, but I just got lost at it >.< I did find some enemies but then I couldn't control weather anymore and they didn't attack me either... I did find the idea cool though, and it seemed nice to play it!
Great concept! I really liked the puzzle feeling of it and the computer explosion (what kind of computer is that? kkkk)! Although the difficulty was a bit weird xp
Very complex game, a bit hard for me to understand what's going on xp But still, it seems like a great idea! Maybe some more explanation or tutorial, but given the time I wouldn't expect that. I could see this becoming a big project!
Great work with art! Loved the graphics and the sound is awesome! It's very simple, but fun! The wave progression wa a bit weird for me though...
Such a beautiful game! Loved the art, sound and concept!! Congratz!
Oh we had quite similar ideas I see xp
Great job! Just a bit confusing as who I should hit and what to do next. Gotta love the transition as the fight start!
Awesome job! Loved the graphics and the music! The game is fun, a bit frustrating though because (like many here) of the physics (slippery movement and kept hitting the platforms sideways) and the unusual control scheme. Nevertheless great game and ending! xp
A really cool concept! I found the control a bit stiff though, and the animation is a bit laggy, even when running on chrome.
Great job with a new language!
Great concept! But a bit confusing to play >.< It took me a while to understand how to do things, and still some random sandbags dropped where I was xp
Still good job!
Great job! Nice music and light effect! Like you said, the controls are a bit strange, it feels more like jumping than flying xp
My score is still low (94) but I'll try to beat it!
Find it funny how in the end the game is named "Gravity Warrior", I guess it was your original idea xp
Hey! Saw your post before. Like you said, it feels solid, but the game itself feels incomplete. The sprites are good, but i think the black hole is a little dissonant, I mean, everything is very pixelated but the black hole isn't. I think it lost a bit of consistency.
But still, good job! I think your idea was really creative!
Great game! Loved the graphics and audio! The concept too is great, and it's really fun to play! Just the controls felt a little stiff for the lack of diagonal movement.
Still couldn't solve it... I'm gonna think for some time before trying it again xp
Awesome! The game is so cute! And the atmosphere is great! Just a bit hard, like many people, for the lack of shadow. Also in the last level I found hard to hit the... air turbines(?)... specially with that black cloud shaking the screen. Anyway great job!
Wow, that was great! Awesome concept! I thought I would command ships by whistling, I guess that would be another cool idea. I can't whistle though but I did manage to play humming xp.
A very interesting idea, but I control is really difficult and it didn't detect my microphone... Still from what I could see great job!
Update: On standalone version it actually did detect my microphone
Great job! Really liked the aesthetics and the concept!
Nice game! Feels good and great ending xp
But it should be a jam entry, since you used images from the web right?
I see... I guess it's ok then. ^^
Btw, thanks for playing my game too!
Cool game! Lagged a lot at the end of it though xp
Cool game! Concept is fun and nice work on graphics! Some more variety of puzzles would be nice~
This game is so crazy @.@ The song is great but a bit too repetitive, maybe because of the loop been a bit off. It's fun to jump around! But can't find the usefulness of licking. Actually I don't get really well what's going on xp
But great job overall!!
Worked fine here~ Really fun game! I thought it was a pretty interesting mechanics, still a bit simple though. Great job!
Really cool idea! Great mood! Just had a hard time to grab things, so I was unable to make an antidote xp
Congratz on your first LD! Even though you couldn't finish it you at least started it! That's an important step! Keep working and hope to see your next LD~
That's.... really unconventional kkkk
The game is fun and the level design are awesome!! Great job!
Nice game! Liked the art and the puzzle aspect of it!
Just the hit box was a bit ackward, since it the foot, and I got constantly hit in my shadow >.<
Also I don't quite see the unconventional weapon.
Other than that, great job!
Cool concept, but the limited light made too difficult to see progress or how many spirits are there... Some sound would be nice too... But other than that it was great!
Fun game! It remembers me those fast-type games. It could have variable difficulty though, like having to type phrases or more enemies/second.
Nice entry. Some problems with attack range (I would stand in a place that meatball couldn't hit me but I could) and a bit too easy. I also found the tie with the theme a bit weak...
Question, is there any difference between characters?
Neat idea, but couldn't figure out how to push the button xp
Also I don't see the point of having to eat the potato chip to get salt, couldn't just buy some salt? Also block placing was a bit hard. Still great work!
Cool concept! It's hard and fun to keep up with recognizing dinos and best vulcan, but a bit tricky to click on everything so fast, maybe a better way to collect minerals and more infos on screen...
Great concept and art! Really fun! Although it needs more work with balance, a bit too easy...
This game is really crazy xp So crazy my king suddenly fell from the floor to oblivion and the game continued xp
Controls were a bit difficult but still good job!
An interesting puzzle! I just think the hairdryer is a bit OP xp, but still, nice job!
Great concept! I would love to play it, but I don't have a 3D printer xp I'll wait with everybody to check the gameplay bideo!
I had some problems with the graphics... The game itself was a bit laggy for me, weird (I ran on firefox)... I didn't know what the upgrades were for and it seems that I can't cancel a selection xp
I know that the game isn't complete, but I don't get the unconventional weapon... was it going to be the slingshot?
Anyway, I had fun harvesting my plants and I loved the art! Although the animation was laggy for me I could see it was pretty good. Great job!
So depressing and fun xp I remember when I played Mario Party and had to keep rotate the stick until my hand burst open kkk.
It's too hard for me too... I can't beat it >.< and now my thumbs hurt.... T_T
Really liked the art! But the 2nd movement of the moonlight sonata is not depressing at all!
Great mechanics and idea! Just thought the controls are a bit stiff. Maybe the levels could have some music too!
Nice graphics! Just think you should make your game more accessible by not requiring downloading the framework...
It's not crap! It's cute! But I was stealth mode, trying to avoid all the vets and I got low score >.< kkkk
I didn't want to win 8th wave >.<
Propaganda seemed to not do anything and it was too easy, but still great concept!
Great mood! Loved the art and sound!
It's a pretty cool theme but I felt a bit lack of gameplay.
Also the controls felt a bit stiff.
Anyway great work!
Good stuff! Maybe some sound effects and some enemies. I don't know if I played it wrong but I only had stones to hit...
Thanks for the feedback!! ^^
Oh I would love to make it multiplayer, but still require more skills xp
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@hissssssssss That's wierd, it was supposed to run on 32-bit... I shall look on to it!
@DKoding In chrome you can just ignore its warning and download it anyway. I think you won't have that problem with other browsers though....
@hissssssssss It's highly possible that your problem has to do with the OpenGL version. The target of my engine is >= 3.0. I'm still trying to make it available for lesser versions but that would probably demand changes in my engine code. For the mean time I will upload again the game with the console open so it can print errors and the OpenGL version. I also tried to change the shaders a bit, so maybe it will work but maybe not >.<
Thanks @Andrea!
Sorry about the sprite rotation >.< I wish I could make the animation/better sprites to make the game feel better, but didn't have enough time/skill xp
@Hectate Oh, the first AI was so merciless, if he got you cornered with a spoon it was almost hopeless kkkk
Thanks for the feedback!
@nassi Thank you for playing my game too!! I still can't beat yours though xp
@nightlord Thank you for the feedback! Too bad you didn't become a true Drunken Master XD I was thinking about implementing a default weapon (fists) but didn't have enough time to think how I should do it... Also there were so many weapons that I thought maybe it was unnecessary xp
@Ouro17 @vogon101 @vogon101 @panurge @easyitch Thank you all for playing!
@wg_phancock Oh yes, as written in the description, each weapon has its own damage, weight and durability, also the character has a drunkness level for each night which affects his movement and aim, maybe that's what made the controls ackward?
@Reis Mahnic Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for checking out my game too! ^^
@TeamQuadratic Yeah, sorry about the graphics ^^; I promise I'll improve my art skills for the next LD! I made the game movement fast to make it more chaotic, like a bar fight xp but thank you for the feedback!
@CalrsonAndPeeters Thank you! Likewise I promise I'll work on my art skills xp About the control, aside the drunkness of the character I thought about making the aim in the mouse to make it feel better, but I had more actions than buttons in the mouse ^^; I'll try to make it better next time!
@Hambone @Tatsu Studio @elpaulo Thank you for playing!
@nopogo @LON3 WOLF @alhvi Thank you for playing!
Great work! Got to shot some babies! Well.. with lollipops, but still kkkk. I also had the delay on the movement, which was weird... but everything else was good! Good animation and art! Just think the nanny should be able to shoot up or down if a baby comes from that direction xp
Great job! Really liked the concept! But what about single players?! I can't play by myself T_T
Oh just one point, why does the blue planet turns red when it releases the moon but the red planet doesn't change color?
Great art and story! It's a bit confusing though... got stuck so still didn't finish ^^;
Btw, isn't "witch" usually used for women? xp
Good job! I liked a lot the art and music! I agree with Floko, picking the poetry breaks a little the flow.
I also think that the game lacks a bit of challenge too.
Interesting game! Great art and narration! Still can't beat the boss though xp
About the gameplay, I think it lacks a bit response to the combat.... I can't really tell if I'm hitting or not something... But still great job!
Tried to run the exe in Windows 8.1 64 bits but nothing happens x.x. Quick play didn't work either >.<
Ending 3, then ending 5 kkk
Great work! It's fun and I really liked the art! Even though the music isn't original it fitted right~
For your future work I think it would be nice to also have the hero's adventure with choices accordingly to his weapon.
I liked the art in the wall of each chapter! And why the solution of every crisis is going to the skyscraper? xp
I can't figure out the difference between each weapon and I can't finish the level where I see my self... It just restart suddenly >.<. Anyway good job!
Cool concept! I got stuck in a pink creature though... It says Hold X to charge but it doesn't seem to charge >.< don't know if I'm playing it wrong...
Anyway great job!
Great art! Everything, the music, the sounds, the style! I felt some lack of gameplay though... But still great job!
Great art and idea!! Agree with everyone, including troubles with collision in the wall xp
Really fun, great game mechanics! Awesome art too!
I just think the gunslinger could throw his mug a bit stronger xp
Very cool game! I loved the art and the concept!
Like everyone else, the game feels very difficult xp I die by jumping wrong even when there is nothing to shoot at.... maybe I just suck at it kkkk
Congrats!
Great game! I liked the concept, but it's a bit hard for me, specially because I can't invert the y axis xp But great job!
Great game! Cool graphics and sound! A bit short though
Very neat concept! It's funny how I can also get the orb tile xp
Nice theme! Although not so unconventional... Also the movement was a bit slow I think, but nice writing (need some spell check though xp) and sounds!
Just a curiosity, how many endings are there? I got 2 so far! And the stoke the bellows xp
Really original! Loved the concept! Too bad I don't have a second player >.<
Awesome game! It seems to require a lot from the computer, but I was able to play it. Great loading screen, concept, graphics and music! Maybe some more sound effects of explosion and people screaming? But even without them it's awesome!
Fun concept! Shame you didn't have time to make different attributes between the monuments, but still fun!
I found a bug though... when I was the Great Wall and killed the Eiffel Tower all the other monuments hp just vanished, and continued fighting... O.o
I liked the art and the music! I just think there could be a little more of a gameplay, either other possible actions or the game gets difficult through time, it just seemed repetitive... but other than that great work!
Awesome game!! Really fun, love the art and music!
Just two thing, I don't know if it was intentional, but the
Stupid Sport Bro and Crappy Copter Bro wouldn't hit me when I was in the edge of the screen. And I found the double jump a bit stiff... also don't know if it was intentional.
Anyway, great work!
I see... copter bro would be really difficult xp
Pretty neat game!
Hang in there buddy! We all have our bad times, I'm glad you were able to overcome it ^^~
Great graphics! Nice touch having the birds sit on the branches! I just found a bit weird the birds just stay in the air instead of constantly moving and not avoiding the cat (but that's just detail). Also a bit too much feathers when bird dies...?
The cat's jump/fall felt a bit slow too, but maybe that's just me. Had a collision bug at the edge of the branch but nothing serious.
Anyway, nice usage of the theme and it was sweet to play! Great job!
Wow, such Tibia!
Interesting concept! It gets time to get use to combat, but I found really interesting. Just maybe not get the option always get back to >Do Nothing...
Graphics are really nice, so Tibia xp
It was really hard, you start so weak.... Couldn't get all the rubies ^^;
The theme link is a bit weak, but it still fits I think.
Anyway it was fun to play, great job!
Oh I would love to finish your game, but I really need to relearn all this ^^; Still I'll try to play though!
PS: Is there anyway you could share a manual or instruction set?
PSS: I was able to get the password from guessing game with basic dichotomy xp
Awesome graphics! Mechanics are simple but fun! Perhaps if in later stages there were more tanks with better AI it would be a very nice challenging game~
Some feedback from the Ultra-Dude would be nice, it's hard to tell when he is attacking. Also if I attack faster than the timestep of the game it would sound that I'm attacking multiple times, e.g. I could hit 4 times a building before it collapsed.
Anyway great job!
Nice game! Graphics were simple but very effective. The theme twist too, simple but nicely done! The camera movement made me a bit dizzy, but added greatly to the mood! Navigation was hard, but I guess that's the idea of a maze xp Missed sound, but you can only do much ^^;
Anyway, great entry!
Btw, isn't Pinky a girl?
Great effects! The sky, the fire, the smoke, the lights, the airplanes are awesome! It's really fun to just rampage about and destroying planes~
The controls do feel a bit weird, since the monster can jump so high (even people jump very high!). The buildings being blocks connected I found a bit weird, but still it worked well. The fire causing damage made the game difficult, since you can't just wreck everything mindlessly (can't say if it's good or bad). Maybe it could cause a little less damage? Audio is quite basic, but it gets the job done. Oh I would also make the people smaller xp And they could get squashed instead of piling up, but I guess that's just details.
Anyway, awesome work!
Great work! Cool graphics and music! Love how I can give no fucks at everything xp
I had the same problem that @Jelinib had! Also I went up to level 10... Does it end at some point?
Awesome game! I liked all the art, audio and mechanics! Great job!!
Sorry to bother you (I wish I could PM...), but I tried to fix the physics simulation slo-mo bug in my game and the flashlight hitbox! Would you like to try it again?
Interesting mechanics! Like @Slashee the Cow I had black boxes at the beginning. A quite bit hard to understand at first, but once I got what everything symbolized it was fun! Some better feedback about the size would be nice though.
Great style and atmosphere! Like many, I find the combat still very crude... Some blocking, feedback (perhaps sfx) and flinching would be great! Look forward for the next version!
Interesting concept! I really enjoyed changing the powers of demons!
Really enjoyed the graphics and audio too! It's so cute~ xp
I just think that it's not very strong with the theme. It was a bit weird that when you jump attacked you immediately fall after the attack... Didn't spoil the action, but it was weird. Also at the first "big" battle, the camera was fixed at the "arena", but you are free to leave it, and then you would have to go back to it almost blindly (if you jump you may see where you are). But these are just details.
Anyway, great job!
Take that weed smoker!
Awesome game! Graphics (and the filter effect) and music are great! Mood and humor are really good too! At first I thought it was going to be more like a puzzle game killing them with fear, but then I got so many powers... It felt good to clean the house xp
Just felt that the camera (or the game) moved a bit slow... Almost like it's lagging sometimes... Also losing condition would be great too.
Anyway great job!
SO CUTE~~!! Great art style! Missed the sound effects, but I see the lack of time xp
+1 score and health bar (maybe A LOT of health, so you can still gather cavemen)!
Tried to run but had this weird render: http://imgur.com/o2Mz72x
I'm running on windows 10 and couldn't find beingakraken_win10_no_x_input31.zip mentioned in the missing dlls txt
Excelent theme usage! xD
The planning games was fun, but a bit hard since it could be any key...
My game also crashed after the second planning with the following message: Resource not found: res/backs/bunkBackdel.png
I want to know what happens with Hitler-sepai T_T Will he notice Joseph-kun??
/********** SPOILER ALERT *************/
Played again through the end! Such a sad ending T_T
Very interesting concept! Art is fairly simple but enjoyable. I liked the idea of the mechanics very much!
But I think there could be some more. Like you can't get too close of the castle or arrows come flying, or something that could difficult getting the items... At first I didn't understand how to identify people's habits, then I realized what they had in hand... Though the hint not always that clear xp Sometimes it was a bit hard to tell if the item wasn't luring them or they were just not seeing it too.
Anyway I had fun playing it, great job!
Willhem Scream! Great game! Really frenetic and fun! What is the second mode though?
I AM ERROR
Great game! Impressive having so much done in jam time! Awesome old-school RPG, very funny xp, great art! Cross is the best artifact!
The enemies could be more interesting tough, even the boss just goes around... It was weird that the spilling blood of my enemies was still an active hitbox xp I could take damage from it and projectiles still hit it. So necklace wasn't quite useful if all fireballs hit the same enemy. Also it was a bit weird when in mid dialogue the animation still tried to run xp. Another point is that some tiles were a bit ambiguous about being a wall or not. I could go on top of the castle walls. The maps also didn't have continuity, but that's just a minor detail.
Anyway great work!
Great atmosphere! Loved the graphics and audio! Camera placement was really awkward though, since usually it points to another direction and the character appears in another point of space, almost felt like teleportation...
/******* SPOILER ALERT ***********/
So I did get to the ending, but didn't get the second choice, like, why did I released him? What's his story?
Anyway great job!
Yeah, shooting up and down would be great ^^; It seemed that going diagonally is faster than straight, because I outrun the sweets much easier that way
Other than that it played really well, great animation and music!
Pretty neat idea! Bored vs. rage was great! The graphics were cool and music was awesome! The bullets were cool, but I didn't get what was going on ^^; Zooming too was cool, but it was a bit annoying for me...
I didn't quite understand the boss battle... too many bullets flying, didn't understand how I died xp
Oh a restart button would be great!
Very solid! It's a very good base for a larger game! Maybe a skip button for the texts? And change the mouse usage for key binding? Oh also the lighting was really strong when the prisoner was next to a light bulb. The ending wasn't really exciting too... Other than that great graphics, audio, and humor! Mechanics were very nice and good puzzles (could have a bit more complex ones though). Great job!
"Half-life 3 confirmed"
Quite a fun concept! Mechanics are nice. It has some collision problems though, as the reactions are a bit weird, sometimes I would get stuck while running. Graphics are fun, but animation timing was a bit odd. Audio is nice too. Level 2 is also quite brutal, while level 3 is not so hard. Some more levels and more balance would be nice (but there is hardly time to do that xp). I found the theme usage a bit weak too...
Anyway, it was still fun to play ^^! Good job!
Great atmosphere! Really liked the mood! The navigation were not so good though, it was easy to get lost in space (maybe it was intended), and controls were a bit "heavy", maybe it was mouse sensitivity. Also backward thrust seemed too weak. I tried to run from the creature while shooting and he would get me very easily.
Anyway great job!
Great mood! Graphics and audio mixed up very well! Mechanics were fun but very brutal. It gets to be unfair, when sometimes half of a star is in circle it accepts it, and other times the whole star is in but it doesn't accept it. Couldn't finish the game due to difficulty...
I see your interpretation of the theme, but I found it a bit weak.
Anyway great job!
Same issue of @AdenMansonGames, OS is Windows 10... waiting for patch~
Nice story telling! Got 3 different endings, but one was weird... I avoid killing everybody but the yellow friend stage didn't had a light blue zone, and time didn't end it, so I had to kill everybody... And then at the final boss I didn't kill him but the ending still said that both of them were killers, and apparently there was a third person...? Didn't get it >.<
I thought it was fine with just geometric shapes, but some audio would have been nice to give more mood xp
Anyway it was fun to play!
It ran smoothly for me~ Very simple game, but has potential! If it had later stages with better AI, more traps/creeps, and maybe a resource management system it would be quite nice! Sprites are nice too! Great job!
Worked fine for me too. Just once I had a crash, for some reason the game didn't tell me to kill the enemy, then I went to the right door and it crashed.
The game is very simple, but I really liked the setting! I wish I could see the end of it... Can't vote on the Theme though, since there was no light on it.
Graphics were very "sketchy", but I liked it, just some more polishment and it would be nice~ Mechanics were quite basic, but no complaint on that. With enough aggressive enemies it could get quite challenging.
Anyway, good job!
Awesome audio XD! Art is great (although the bananas look like strawberry to me ^^; ), and very fun to play! The first time I beat it I didn't get all the bananas, and it was written "The End ?" so I thought "Maybe there is another ending if I get all of them!", but got the same ending xp
Anyway great entry!
Oh I got this weird bug where if the dart would hit me right after landing it wouldn't kill me. I think it was on the last stage...
Btw, welcome to LD! Congratz on your first entry ^^
Mood is great! Awesome graphics and audio!
Mechanics seemed quite nice, but I had some problems playing this game so I couldn't finish.
- It was very hard to navigate. Maybe it was on purpose but it was very easy to get lost. Also a lot of invisible walls.
- Hunters were almost blind, I could walk past them and they wouldn't notice me (still got shot a few times ^^;)
- One time there was a strange force pulling me left.. Don't know if was a bug or really something pulling me. Didn't last long though.
Anyway if it were a complete game I'm sure I would enjoy it ^^
Very neat idea! I wished I had a friend to play with xp
Nice game! Really liked the JRPG style! Graphics are nice but I miss some more visual feedback, or some animation... Music and sfx are fun ^^ Also very cleaver to make the same party attack you over and over xp
The Storm curse always hits everybody, including dead chars, so every time you cast Storm you can hear the dyeing sfx xp
Anyway great job!
Very cute! And very nice artwork! Real problems with collisions though, and the 'people' really freak out when the see the monster xp It's hard to move then...
Still cool game and neat concept!
Great theme interpretation! +1 wolf and ecosystem! Most of my comments had already been said, annoying wolf going to beginning, missed sfx, could be a bit more difficult, but also very fun, and wolf eats poop xp
I also found very annoying that the wolf had to go to the center of the sheep to eat it, and the sheep are very cute ^^
Good job!
Oh I'd love to play this! But I don't have someone to play with me and don't have the printer ^^;
Still, the concept is nice, it seems very interesting, though with 4 players the house really seems in disadvantage... Also some of the rules seems missing, like how to perform an attack, or what can a player do in limbo. Art is great, but I miss the colors.
Anyway great job!
Awesome! Great art, atmosphere, writting! Just lovely!
There isn't much of gameplay, but it was a short but nice story to read! I liked the old RPG mood with the graphics and audio! The twist with the theme was also good!
Some more story would be nice, but there is only much time to do it ^^;
Great job!
PS: Nice description!
Great mood! Music was awesome, graphics were cool, although the animation was ok (btw, when there is that darker background the soldier leg almost disappear), I guess because the soldier only moved his legs...
Story was nice, although I couldn't do what I wanted (not kill the aliens and kill the lady xp)
Oh there is this one alien that would go immediately to the spikes and I couldn't kill it... Then I read here that I could actually shoot down! Really missed that part... Anyway, great job!
김정은 장군님 만세!!!
This games represents the real struggle between North and the filthy South Koreans! But the great leader would not allow the candles not turn into cake if too close to the Worker Paradise. Nor he would have such small seeds of tomato turret that he couldn't get it, and he would've made them more useful, since they can't hit their target very well. The great leader's hunger should also be of some purpose. And obviously the filthy capitalist would have more frequent and more difficult waves. The great leader would also question why he and the bastards were just capsules, and why Conker was in the game.
The great leader still would appreciate the accuracy of his birth and the North Korean sun. But he wouldn't understand why this game fits the theme
Great concept! Loved the mood, animation, light effect and audio! Though the screaming effects were just in the left ear >.< The mechanics were very creative but a bit annoying to wait just to go upstairs xp Anyway congratz!
"Oh how funny, I'm eating radioactive waste!... Wait... I'm eating a house?... Okay, now I'm as big Jormungandr, I guess it will end soon... Oh God, I can eat the stars now... Awesome!"
Gosh that was hard ^^; I guess it's been a long time without playing snake xp I was able to beat with snake gene, and with hare gene I was able to get to star size!
Anyway! Great take on the classic! Had lots of fun in such a simple tweak! I think having goals and levels was great~ Control was really smooth too, and really cute art xp
I did miss some more elaborated backgrounds (like stars in the later levels), smoother animation, and maybe a bgm? But you only had 10 hours, and still a lot of work was done~ Good job!
Awesome! Can't beat the big knight though xp
Interesting puzzles! I didn't get all of it until I watched the video though xp (how buttons work or when drones "attacked")
I guess I'm biased by my own game, but I think there could be consequences to which path you choose, killing drones or doing the puzzles... But still great job!
Sorry to bother you (still wishing for PM), but I tried to fix the shader bug and physics simulation slo-mo in my game! Would you like to try it again?
Ok.... that was actually fun xp If it had a health bar it would become a quite challenging game! Some balancing would be necessary though, like the head was too weak... Or just scoring would already be nice. Oh sometimes the head movement would become clunky, I don't know why...
Anyway good job!
Awesome game! Loved the humor and the mood xp! Graphics and music are great too! I just think it's weird that you can walk normally in the lake and the sprites get that water effect... I don't know how to interpret that...
Mechanics are fine, but it's a bit unfair how they can easily spot you, since basically can only kill with stealth or by luck if they get stuck somewhere... But I find really funny how people ran away from you but left their friend clueless xp. At first I thought the trees gave you camouflage, but that wasn't the case... It would've been a great feature though... Also the map is a bit too big? When it comes to 10 campers is really hard to find them... catching the last one was impossible to me. Maybe a smaller map or maybe a radar?
Oh there is also some collision problems when hitting walls, but that's just detail.
Anyway great job! And don't forget your coffee cake!
Fun game! Atmosphere is great, loved the intro xp.
Really hard to aim though... And sometimes I'd hit a soul and he would just go off screen, no way to shoot him >.<
Anyway great job!
Very interesting idea indeed!
I noticed you did the soundwaves for humans bounce, why not also for the monster? Also, I think it would be better if the soundwaves moved faster than the monster, it was hard to navigate continuosly... The humans are also too quick for me xp It was hard to get them.
Couldn't finish it though... I got the fatal error too...
Anyway congratz~!
Cool arcade game! Loved the touch with the upside-down "You win" screen! Graphics and music are nice (though the back ground could a little more "spacey"), and mechanics are very smooth.
The only complaint would be no support to keyboard/mouse but I understand the difficulty.
Great job!
Interesting idea! I liked the theme usage and the dynamics!
The game mechanics could be improved the be more challenging, I ended just button smashing through the end.
I couldn't see the highlights in the map, so I got a bit lost (but I liked the idea!)
I guess you didn't have much time, but it would be nice to have some humans sprites so the monster side would be more evident, I just didn't feel anything attacking big squares xp
Finally, just a personal opinion, I found the ending a bit silly ^^;
Anyways, great job!
Great artwork and audio! Couldn't get past the first level though... I can't dodge the bullets effectively >.< I'll try again later!
Very cute! Great the graphics! Audio is a bit off I think, but it gets the job done. Mechanics are nice, I think it's weird when my speed is the same as the bullet, but no big deal. There could be more level progression though... Maybe having bigger waves, or having an end to the night. Other than that great job!
Game is really on early stage, but I liked the concept! I can see this turning into a bullet hell game. More challenges like different bullet patterns, more FBI agents, difficulty increasing as it goes and I think you would have a fun game to play~. Then no timer and a leaderboard to keep your best score!
As it is, you can't really die, since there are spots that the agents can't hit. Collision box are a bit strange too, bullets that are a bit bellow the sprite can hit the target. The player can't currently jump, but it would be a nice feature for the future. The art... I understand that some of them you didn't create, but still is important to keep the coherence to the style. The agents, the monster and the tiles don't really mix up. Some work with the buttons would be nice too, better font, uniform and cleaner.
Still, congratz on your entry! Keep the good work!
Awesome game! Really liked the twist of the theme, and the game as a whole! Excellent job!
Title [enter]
Though it was minimalist it was very fun to play! Controls and mechanics were nicely implemented.
For the post-jam version, the graphical and audio addition was good, but the level got too long I think. It's also a kinda hard to track the hitbox. Bat animation was a bit too fast too.
Although I really liked the setting, I found the theme usage a bit weak...
Anyway great job!
Wonderful game! It's so beautiful~ I actually thought of this tale if the theme were "A World In The Sky" xp
It's pretty difficult, but I made it to the end! At first I thought the meteor shower was random xp. Didn't quite understand the ending though....
Graphics, audio and mechanics are great! (although it was hard to tell where the girl was going to land) Congratz!
The idea of trapping people was great, but it felt a bit silly when they would just stop running because of one tree. Art was nice, I missed some animation, but you can only do much with the time frame ^^; Mood was nice, and I really liked the wind mechanic! Nice ending too!
Anyway great job!
@scorched I see, that makes a lot more sense! xp
The town folks are quite friendly. I was friend with everyone until there was no one left! xp
It was quite fun! great particles and sound! Didn't use the camouflage nor the shiny stone though... it was just easier to run around the town ^^;
Thank you for playing!
@trashmob Well... Actually you are the elf ^^;
@Shaw I'm glad you enjoyed it! =D
@tweedle @avultima @jmschrack @SuperPokeunicorn Wow thank you all for playing! I'm glad I could set the mood right ^^ About the controls, I wanted to make it a bit awkward because Anya is just a little girl, not a professional assassin... But I guess I overdid it ^^;
@avultima Could you send me a screenshot please? I'm not sure what you're talking about xp
@Mikhail Thank you for playing!
I feel I should note here that the conclusion is different depending of how you play the game....
@avultima I've always wandered about that xp If you want we may speak over Twitter!
OMG that's super wierd!!! It was supposed to be like the screenshot I took for the entry... I guess there was something wrong with the shader... Maybe your OpenGL version didn't like it..? T_T
@ChosenCharacter Thank you for your feedback! I actually increased the friction to a level that I was satisfied (again, I didn't want to make the controls quite confortable), but I see that it wasn't enough >.<
About the flashlight, you're right! I actually I used rectangles to detect the player, and then I had the idea to put the light cone. I was gonna change the sensor to a triangle later but in the end I didn't have time to do it T_T I'm sorry that it spoiled the experience... u_u
To the people that are complaining about the controller being too floaty. I just ran the game in others computers and the game is running really slowly!! I don`t know what happened! I`ll try to fix it ASAP! I hope you guys see this... TT_TT
@djfariel Thank you for the feed back! As already posted, I don`t know what is that wierd white box that appears... Also it seems that the game is running slower than inteded in some computers... I will try to fix them ASAP! Hope these problems didn`t spoil all the fun >.<
@djafariel Oh right, about the killing humans. I intended to let the player choose whether to become the monster or not. Killing the humans is much easier to complete the game, but if you take the harder path you maintain your sanity ^^
@glerikud I'm glad you enjoyed the art! Sorry about the music volume >.< but I guess you can always turn it down a little ;)
I just uploaded a post-compo release that fixes a bug with the physics simulation (it was in slo-mo in low performance). I'd be glad if you try it again! ^^
@djfariel I'm glad you enjoyed the game! It's an honor to be one of your favorites *-*
I see what you mean by floaty, I'm sorry for making the controller feel uncomfortable T_T I guess I can't change a mechanic part of the game now ^^; As I was talking with MGD, I realize now that I should've made linear damping different for vertical and horizontal velocity...
Oh about the ending, sorry I misunderstood you >.<. I actually offered the option to restart in all "endings", so you can go through again and try to get another one~
Thank you all for the feedback!
@theholychicken Well, the dark side is "quicker, easier, more seductive" ;) I did the 4th ending for those who just kill everybody anyway, so you ARE the monster! kkkk
Oh don't you dare look at my source code! xp
@patvanmackelberg It was intended to have more stealth features, but you know, you can only do much ^^;
@kidando Oh, I actually did the voice over xp And the line of sight is actually just a shader~
Thank you all for playing!
@Biruts I tried to play your game but couldn't find it! Could you please send me the link?
@LastLeaf The path of peace is a hard one to walk ;)
@Sunflower Thank you for those insights! Didn't think about the AZERTY keyboards xp
I thought people wouldn't mind the intro text ^^;
And I wished I had time for better endings... Hope you enjoyed nevertheless!
Thank you all for playing!
@Jelinib Sorry for the misleading text ^^; But who knows, one day I may finish this game and killing every single human could have a new ending ;)
Oh that tricky spot, it was suppose to get you, but not so misleading! xp Glad you enjoyed it anyway!
@zenmumbler Why thank you ^^ It was a lot of hard work, and got really exhausted after it! Of course I had more in my mind when I made the concept of the game, I hope I'll be able to finish it some day~
Thank you for pointing it out that bug! I tried to set alpha = 0 on those cases but I guess it didn't work properly. I still need to learn more about shaders ^^;
Thank you for playing!
@pirate_shell Thank you for reading my post mortem! ^^ Oh yes, additional time would had been great xp But if I really continue this project there will be plenty of time to polish~
Thank you all for playing!
@MAnimal Quoting @Nurbs "The pacifist run is the true competitive" ;)
@CtrlAltTea Oh yes, probably the controls... Sorry about that ^^; (btw, loved the username xp)
Ok, I understand your point of the need to come back to starting point, but I guess it just have to be according to level design and the mission. I did play the tutorial but it was very confusing since the text sometimes changed before I could read and you're not supposed to go back to starting point. Anyway, an exit sign would be quite welcome.
Anyway, very neat concept! It was really fun to go around with the different abilities sneaking through guards. Music and art was great too! It would be nice to have an indication where the vents go to (although not necessary, really your call), and the game was unforgiving on mistake, got caught then game over. Couldn't finish, but I'll try again ^^
I really liked the art and music of the game! (Although I did find the player ship a bit wierd). Couldn't reach the end though... the controls are way to difficult for me since it controls force and it's relative to where the ship is pointing too... So I will try to beat it again later and then I rate the Theme! (although i can see where this is going)
Oh when I downloaded the game there wasn't a post jam version.... but well, following @kfarwell I did peak into the source file xp
/******* SPOILER ALERT ********/
Even if the ending was different I'd still considered the main character a genocide monster xp
Cool game! Physics are really funny xp Music is good but too repetitive, art is good too but a bit incoherent (Minotaur(?) and knights are very minimalist, while chest and coins are quite detailed)
Some progression, like objectives/stages/different enemies would be nice, but still, good job!
Oh it's so cute~ It would be a nice game if finished ^^;
Sorry to bother you (I wish I could PM...), but I tried to fix the physics simulation slo-mo bug and the flashlight hitbox in my game! Would you like to try it again?
PS: I will rate your game as soon as can I play it xp
Great game! Loved the art and the audio! The controller was a bit stiff and buggy (after landing sometimes I got stuck on the ground, I was able to shoot lasers though). Other than that It was awesome!
Bonus points for those little guys that shoot but did no damage xp
Very cute game! Art is very nice, though not very coherent (monster is very detailed while the rest is pixelart). The final stage was really fun while the others were too easy.
Jumping was really unnecessary (though the animation was cool), and it would be nice to attack while attacking, but it was cool to have three different attacks!
One thing that I thought was weird was that the buildings are not exactly in the same plane as the monster.
Anyway, it was nice game!
Quite a nice entry! Really liked the managing of the island! A bit confusing on the resources though (there are so many >.<) also a log with the prayers would be nice, I lost at day 36 because I kept forgetting what my boss and all those regions asked me to do ^^;
It's a fun concept, and have great audio xp
But we have some issues with the collider, the controls are a bit slow and stiff, it's hard to tell what is the sight range of the girls, and art is not very coherent (although it's nice)
With some polishment I think it would be a fun game
Welcome to LD!
Great audio! BGM gives a nice feel and sfx is great xp
Art is cool and mechanics are fun and original, although there could be more to it. I just didn't get the people with bad thoughts... Why can't I eat them? Why are they pink? Why they leave a little blob?... Maybe I'm overthinking xp
Anyway, great job!
Quite a nice entry! Great graphics, good set of skills. I had a bunch of points to say about the jam version, but the post-jam version covered I think all of them! Great job!
First of all, welcome to LD!
Great mechanics! Roadblocks made a new twist to the game! AI seems nice when running, but not so much when chasing. I just think there should be an end to the game, it seems the only way to get game over is dying, and it's not that hard to survive. Maybe a time limit so you have to get high score, or limit the number of pacmen and multiple stages.
Anyway great job!
Really nice game! It's really fun ^^~ A bit hard for me though, since you can't dodge and humans escape quite fast xp Although I don't really like button masher I liked the controls! Graphics and audio were very nice too! All added to the "silly" mood xp A lot of work was done~! Congratz!!
Awesome game! Loved the concept, the artwork, the music, the style! Story was great, really cool effect for Mac getting the red eye!
I just think that maybe the lack of alcohol could influence more the controls. Just the rumbling didn't really do anything for me. Also it was a bit annoying that Mac would always look right. Some collisions problem at the edge of things, but that's just details.
Anyway excellent job!
Oh a minor complaint would be no support to keyboard/mouse, but I understand the lack of time...
Quite a nice idea ^^ It was very challenging >.< I guess because the invaders took so much time to go down. The defender AI was a bit dumb, sometimes just keeping itself in the corners, although a good AI would make it very very difficult. Great work!
Great concept! Loved the management and strategy! Mood is great too! Maybe some darker colors? The only thing that I don't understand is why would I care about the townsfolk. I could just not save them and have more research material xp... Oh I also don't understand when a town is destroyed ^^;
Anyway great job!
Awesome mechanics! Very clever indeed! The theme is ok though. Found pretty amazing that all goblins explodes after their task xp A bit slow paced but that's understandable. Sometimes I would just make a huge line of goblins waiting kkkk
Sorry to bother you (I wish I could PM...), but I tried to fix the physics simulation slo-mo bug in my game! Would you like to try it again?
PS: I'll rate your game as soon as I can play it! xp
Great game! Loved the art work, and the music really gives a great mood! Also great twist on the theme!
/***** SPOILER ALERT *******/
I just didn't get the good ending... the princess is the witch? So leaving her free is a bad thing...? Right?
PS: Thank you for playing my game again! I'm glad it felt better!
Fun idea! It's very.... relaxing...? kkkk The movement of the skiers are wierd though... Maybe trying to find a path without trees, or just reandom?
I was able to play a little, since I don't have someone to play with me it was pretty hard... but still I could get a taste of it! Seems very nice! Mechanics are fun, graphics are nice and cute and audio is great! (though it was mentioned that it's another artist's)
It was a bit hard to get what each node did though... I also found weird that you shoot in opposite direction of you movement, but that's also very interesting!
Anyway, great job!
@Tanton-H2X I'm so sorry for the late reply T_T
I uploaded the game in 4shared <http://www.4shared.com/zip/FcSG8ZzOce/elvenblood_win_11.html> I hope you can download from there! Even if the voting time is up, I would be glad if you played it~! You can reach me at twitter if you want too!
Great art work and mood! Couldn't finish though...
Here some bugs I found:
- I teleported to outside the ship (but still I liked the mechanic!)
- At the spot I killed a human appeared another human that I couldn't kill
- I couldn't read the HUD (1360x768)
- A human and me got stuck at the door
Also camera and player movement was difficult to manage, and humans were too fast to get a kill if they didn't stop xp
I guess the music in the intro could also be in the game ^^;
But still great job!
It was a bit hard to play since there were many errors of sprite and null reference exception and the game crashing. But nevertheless I WAS able to play and it looked very interesting! I was able to defeat some demon, and then got stuck... The art and audio are great! Since there is no explanation whatsoever it's hard to figure out what's the meaning of all the object you find and how to use them, or even what's going on there.
Anyway I think it would've been a fun game! Great job!
Great idea! I liked the mechanics of the games and very funny the motivation xp but I don't quite see how it fits the theme.
As already stated, the graphics were good, but they don't really mix up (the asteroids with the planets), also, for me, the asteroids look like poop, I guess it's because of the particles and the colors xp. And the background scroll should really blend in at the end.
I did find the mechanics of pushing the gray rocks quite fun but the lack of them was a bit of an issue... I had to wait a lot until one appeared.
Overall, I think it does need some polishment but it was fun to play ^^
Great concept! Music and graphics really sets the mood!
The lighting is very necessary but it made me a bit confused with so many areas. The characters could be a bit bigger, I often missed the guard because I was just a bit too high...
Also too difficult for me, couldn't finish xp I guess maybe make the light come back a moment later than the generator (like when you cut the generator off) or being able to attack the guard form behind would make things a bit easier.
Other than that great work!
Great atmosphere! The music is a bit repetitive but it works. Graphics and shaders are great!
Sometimes the lady/ghost would just get stuck and then it was very easy to stab her (actually not that easy, it took a few stabs until she dropped). Also it would be nice to have invert axys y ^^;
Anyway great entry!
Awesome graphics! Mechanics are very good too! Although there could be more enemies type (but I suppose there would be no time for this), and warp didn't seem very useful, at least I forgot to use it and it played well.
It's a bit weird the weeks counting, since it feels like just one night passing xp
Anyway great job!
This would be a fun game if it were in a frenetic rhythm! Like time limits and leader boards. Although the animation was cool some polishment with the visual would be nice too
Combat is a bit clunky, but I found the style very amusing xp Some visual feedback of when something hits would be nice too! Great job!
Loved the Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde theme! Great mechanics and artwork! Missed the audio but I understand the lack of time~
I had one bug where after people alert the guard I would just keep being Mr. Jekyll and so the guard would stop by my side. And then, when self-control was over, I would be Mr. Hyde and still the guard would not notice me.
Beautiful! Just perfect! Congratz!! Well, if I was to nitpick, you can hear white noise on the narrator's audio, I would suggest the use of a noise filter xp
(Oh it reminds me of Shelter~)
Pretty neat idea! Although I don't have someone to play with it seems really fun! 3D modeling of the stage was also great!
The only strange things are the weapons, not really sure what each of them do... And the camera placement, since it seems like it's inside the body and you can look at your insides... The gun models too are not well shown in your hand... But that's just details
Great job!
Great mood! Good art and music too! The moon was a bit weird though... It would still appear in front of buildings xp. Also collision was a bit weird, sometimes I would land on the roof and would still be "mid-air". Anyway nice entry!
What a horrible night to have a curse....
Very cute monster! For some reason eating the humans was really amusing xp
I understand why you used tank controls, but it was really hard to navigate. Maybe changing the camera setting (it's already not very good positioning itself) and having simpler controls would make it more enjoyable. Since the humans didn't have a great AI the only difficulty of the game was the navigation...
Anyway good job!
Great story! So sad you couldn't end it >.<
Mood is awesome! Great graphics and audio!
Just the city scene is a bit weird, since the characters are bigger than the buildings ^^; I know you couldn't finish the game, but just some additional points... The inventory didn't really store the items very well, and it was a bit awkward to use it. Also when I walked from or to the stairs, it was a bit weird since the character walked the shortest path, which made him float in the air. But that's just detail.
Anyway, great job!
Awesome concept! SFX sure would be nice, but oh well. Art is great, music is cool. Mechanics are interesting but a bit... weird? I mean, you get the tank, which was a mouse, and then it's a syringe...? And in the imagination world the nurse doesn't exist...? Still, very creative xp
Some more gameplay would be nice, like more stages or level progression. Collision needs some polishment too
I also find very amusing the rat trembling like in fear xp
Anyway, great work!
Great game! Keep learning and make more awesome things!
I crashed when I choose line 707, also I couldn't choose the line 650. It should be easy to detect what's wrong ;)
Great graphics! I loved that the display has this curvature and those "lines" like a CRT monitor! Audio is awesome too!
Mechanics are fun! Though I think it's weird if you toss the disk thing and walk at the same direction you would get right under it, and if it'd hit an enemy, I could die too. Also I had a bug in level 2-1 where the disks wouldn't stop blinking so I couldn't pick them....
Anyway great job!
Very funny! Great art and sfx! Some music would've been nice xp.
Mechanics were cool but didn't use altitude and cloak very much... Upgrades were cool too!
Anyway great game!
PS: Eggshaped UFO was the best!
The mood is great! The maze texture really gives a nice dark mood.
Just don't know exactly what's going on. I can take a guess.... But not entirely sure... Yeah... explanation would be nice.
Anyway great job! Even though you couldn't find motivation, you were able to do something!
Simple but effective! Nice stealth mechanics and a bit hard! At one point it felt that I was playing the same levels... did it loop? Didn't get to the end...
I guess the stages could be a bit darker to match better with the theme? Just a thought. Great job still!
I see! Thank you for your reply ^^

- A bit hard to maneuver, it would be better with more buttons (although it wouldn't fit the theme and it's awesome how you made a FPS with only 2 buttons, don't know if mouse movement counts as buttons anyway)
Obs:
o Couldn't pass the 2nd "wave"
Awesome job!
Pro:
+ Nice graphics (feel like those cardboard training stuffs)
+ Cool concept
Con:
- It's a bit awkward to not being able to move freely (but I understand it's to stick with the theme)
- Still unfinished, but you're aware of that
Great job!
Pro:
+ Simple but fun
+ Goat flying animation is awesome
+ Audio and graphics are cool
Con:
- The snowball growing is way too slow
- Missed the rolling animation
- Score could go higher faster, leader board has so many zeros
Not a baahd job!
Pro:
+ Cool concept
+ Great graphics and audio
Con:
- It was a bit hard to maneuver
Obs:
o It took me a while to see that the ship gets gravitated towards the big debris
o One time the black hole was at top of a big debris, making impossible to finish the level
Great work!
Pro:
+ Very cool mechanics
+ Nice graphics and music
Con:
- Physics seemed a bit odd (specially the "gravity")
Obs:
o Sad that the laser destroys power ups >.<
Great work!
Pro:
+ Simple but cool concept
+ Really cool to see your army growing and your men following you
Con:
- A bit weird to see that riders would collide with each other
- There is no way to lose
Obs:
o Some more strategy beside running till you gather enough army would be cool
Awesome job!
I tried to run both releases on Windows 10 with java updated and got just a gray window...
@Gaspard_ I understand... that's a pity... Good work anyways! This game seems very cool! Hope to play another game from you next LD!
Pro:
+ Nice and clean
+ Simple and neat

Obs:
o Played alone, a bit confusing but managed to play
Great work!
Pro:
+ Nice assets
+ Interesting control scheme
+ Cool concept, very strategic
Con:
- Controls are a bit hard, for me rotation would work better if reversed
Obs:
o Pretty hard game for >.< I'll try to beat it again later
Great work!
Pro:
+ Creative mechanics
+ Fun to play
Con:
- Took me a while to understand that I should click the buttons with the mouse... But maybe I'm just dumb
- A bit annoying when I was in a middle of sequence and killed another bug... But I can't think of a way to avoid this
Great job!
Pro:
+ Cool concept
+ Fun mechanics
Con:
- Took some time to figure out how to play, even with instructions
- Some BGM would be nice, but I know it's hard on the time frame
Great job!
Pro:
+ Very cute
+ Fun to see the cat growing fat
Con:
- Game seemed to spawn mostly unhealthy food, so it was rather easy
Obs:
o Got 329lb selecting the food
o I wished I could work in that factory... =(
Great job!
Pro:
+ Very cute graphics
+ Good interpretation for the weapons
Con:
- Felt that the camera moved too slow and in some points I couldn't see the kid
Obs:
o I wished I could turn the kid around, but I understand why not
Great job!
Pro:
+ Great control
+ Cool assets
+ Simple but cool concept
Con:
-I fell like there could be more stuffs to break or to dodge, I guess that's asking too much
Obs:
o Sometimes the objects won't fall, and sometimes they did, not sure why
Great job!
Pro:
+ Cool concept
+ Art is cool (though sometimes feel a bit random)
+ Great music selection
Con:
- A bit difficult to control
Obs:
o I think the iPhone idea would be nice. It's just hard to move around the place with only 2 buttons. Maybe you could make all sorts of dance moves to be done like different swipes and stuffs.
o Got stuck at level 6
Great work!
Pro:
+ Interesting concept, feels like Starcraft's Zergs, has potential
+ A lot of work done programming RTS
+ Nice graphics and sounds
Con:
- Still feel a bit incomplete, like I can't see the difference of the units, even though I know there is, I guess it's too ambitious for a jam
- Even with instructions it's hard to play, for example I don't know what is the cost of each building
- Path finding doesn't seem to be working really well
Awesome job!
Pro:
+ Very innovative concept
+ Looks really fun (didn't actually play it, just watched the video)
Obs:
o Really cool to have a TableTop Sim game, would play IRL
Awesome work!
Pro:
+ Very cool concept (specially the map growing)
+ Graphics are very nice
Con:
- A bit hard to see the player though
- The control made sometimes feel that landing is mostly a matter of luck than skill
- Some music would've been nice, but that's a lot to do in the time frame
Great job!
Pro:
+ Simple but cool concept, liked the choice of control
+ Cute graphics
Con:
- Too slow and hard to control, collision is very unforgiving
Obs:
o Bigger screen would be nice
Good job!
Pro:
+ Interesting concept
Con:
- Still too unpolished... Hope next time you can work full time!
Obs:
o Stats command is not implemented
Good work!
Pro:
+ Super cute and fun story
+ Great art work and music
+ Impressive amount of work
+ Really cool interface
Con:
- It was a bit unclear when it was a decision moment, in my first run I had to restart because I didn't think I couldn't go back
Obs:
o Some lines appeared even though it didn't make sense with my choices (e.g. I didn't help Mana-chan but still it's mentioned that she called my name)
o The honorific suffixes sometimes didn't feel consistent (e.g. I did see one Ms. suddenly)
Awesome work!
Pro:
+ Very interesting concept
Con:
- It's all very cryptic... (though the idea is to be chaotic, I don't know what's suppose to be a tree and what the color of flowers mean)
Obs:
o Seeing everything thing change so fast is a bit weird... Maybe a slower delta? Or some animation to show the change... but then I'm asking too much
Great work!
God, took me I think one hour, but I finally beat it!
Pro:
+ Very interesting concept and idea
+ Neat art style (specially the title screen) and music
Con:
- Way too cryptic to find out the effects of each food/drink (I actually cheated and looked at the source to understand what was going on)
- Some balance issues (like, thirst decreases faster, so you drink a lot, and shrink a lot, but only a mushroom is able to counter the constantly shrinking)
Obs:
o With the scaling of the sprite sometimes it would become blurred
Nice entry, although very difficult!
Pro:
+ Great graphics and nice audio
+ Cool concept
Con:
- I wish I could earn money that easily T_T
Obs:
o Stock fluctuation seemed a bit random (though some cases the stock would drop when I buy)
o Didn't know how to use all that information, I just looked at the graph and sometimes the headline on the right monitor
Great job!
Pro:
+ Liked the backgammon-ish mechanics
+ Interesting usage of theme xp
+ Nice graphics
Con:
- Lack of instruction, I knew what I had to do, but I didn't understand what was going on really
- AI doesn't seem very smart
Obs:
o Maybe a way to kill adventurers?
o Didn't see the point of the adventurers pentagrams...
Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn
Great job!
Pro:
+ Simple but neat style
+ Nice animations
+ Nice mechanics and upgrades
+ Found pretty amusing that you can fight your way to the sky xp
Con:
- Controls and physics felt a bit clunky, I know I'm not supposed to spam attacks, so maybe a cooldown animation? But then I'm asking too much xp
- Upgrades seem way too expensive
- Death doesn't seem to have any consequence
Obs:
o Sometimes an enemy would spawn right above/under me and it was a bit weird trying to hit him
Great entry!
Pro:
+ Great concept
+ Cool music and SFX
+ Retro graphics
Con:
- Really hard to control
Obs:
o Some checkpoints would be nice? Or easier to get fruits?
Awesome job!
I'm so sorry, not enough time left to play and rate your game! But seems nice, I'll play it anyway later!
Pro:
+ Interesting take on clicker game
Con:
- Pretty confusing, I also don't know what to do with the nodes...
Good job!
Pro:
+ Cool artwork (Soiren was a bit androgynous?)
+ Great story
Con:
- Two button control theme felt a bit loose
Obs:
o It doesn't look like there is a difference between choosing either doors
o If I choose only Future the game suddenly ends... Don't know if it was intentional
Great job!
Pro:
+ Art style and audio is great
Con:
- One hit kill with no checkpoints (at least I didn't find one) is a bit cruel
- Collision box are a bit weird, specially on the big guy
Obs:
o You can shoot even after death
Great work!
Pro:
+ Interesting concept, can get really strategic
+ It's fun to overflow the area with grass!
Con:
- Way too easy to expand, should be better balanced. But again, the counterpart isn't smart, so maybe it's not an issue
Obs:
o At first I was really confused, but then I understood the rules.. Maybe better UI or simpler instructions?
Great game!
Pro:
+ Great graphics and music giving a nice mood
+ Very cool concept and mechanics
Con:
- Sometimes it gets really hard with the random positioning, sometimes I also receive damage upon start, I guess there is a node right at the beginning
Obs:
o Got stuck in level 5
Awesome work!
Pro:
+ Cool music
+ Simple but fun
Con:
- Control felt a bit stiff
Good job!
Pro:
+ Great concept
+ Awesome background noise
+ Gets really intense
Con:
- Some graphical effects in the objects would be great, also some music, but then I'm asking too much on a compo xp
Obs:
o A restart button would be nice
Great entry!
Pro:
+ Interesting concept
+ Should be fun to play with another person (I tried 2 players mode by myself)
+ Cute Models and music
Con:
- A challenge for 1 player mode would be nice
- Some water animation would be nice
Obs:
o Intro screen changes too hast
Good work!
On Windows 10 with Love version 0.10.0 I get the following warning:
"This game indicates it was made for version '0.9.2' of LOVE. It may not be compatible with the running version(0.10.0)"
Then the window open with the following error:
boot.lua:397: Invalid fullscreen type: normal
@Skaz Thank you! The .exe still didn't work but I was able to execute the .love
Pro:
+ Great graphics and audio, giving a great mood
+ Cool concept
+ Awesome mechanics
Obs:
o I couldn't finish because I got lost, maybe because the map is too big or no navigation system? But exploration was still nice
Awesome job!
* I'll try it again later, maybe with the map xp
Pro:
+ Very cute graphics and mood
+ Simple but fun concept
Obs:
o Distractions are not really challenges.. Although I loved the sofa xp
Great work!
Welcome to Ludum Dare! Just by finishing your first compo you achieved a lot!
Pro:
+ Cool concept
+ Nice detail on assets
Con:
- AI too unforgiving
- Diagonal movement should be normalized
Obs:
o Sometimes I would experience frame rate drop, and the game would update very fast... Maybe a performance issue?
Great job! Keep up the hard work!
Pro:
+ Very cute concept
+ Nice take on theme
+ Nice graphics and audio
Con:
- With many tiny people it gets hard to see the preferences of each tiny person
Great job!
Pro:
+ Great interesting concept
+ Audio and visual are nice
Con:
- Needs more balancing, winning is much a matter of luck, though strategy is important
Great job!
Pro:
+ Some sprites (specially the bear) are really nice
+ Art in general was cute
+ Nice idea
+ BEAR
Con:
- The craziness of the art was a bit confusing
- The lack of control made some enemies impossible to hit, and one bat was unreachable
Obs:
o So much blood!
o The moose seemed invincible
Great job!
@MestreRothWP @Jstank Why thank you for playing and for the compliments! I'm sorry it was too hard, but it was intentional ^^; It's supposed to remind of those games that you had to press a button frenetically~
I added a warning in the description!
@jigalx Thank you for playing! I'm sorry it frustrated you ^^; But you can actually press 'A' too, so it gets a bit easier! I added in the description~
@PowerSpark @Zknet @srakowski I'm glad you liked!
@Drury At least they didn't kill you... that's something right? xp
Thank you all for playing!
@fistmaker @ondrejbalas @Charging Llama @REIN1 Thank you for playing, I'm glad you all enjoyed the game ^^
Wow! Thank you all for playing and for the feedback!
@Grahhhhh What part made you think I hadn't finish the game? I'll gladly change the text so it won't be confusing anymore ^^
@XenosNS I actually did think about having the option to surrender, but I though that would spoil the fun... and I think they would enslave you anyway xp.
Oh yes, that's a valid strategy, but the real challenge is to play with only one hand~!
@theholychicken I'm very glad you liked it!
@SSJMetroid Wow that's impressive! I think I was able to beat without taking damage only once xp
@anv Thank you for the feedback! Indeed some of the assets was really rushed (specially the bars)... Hope it didn't spoil the fun though...
@AzureAspect Oh don't worry, I won't call you a cheater, but that was really the "easy mode" ;) Yeah, I think it's funny how the base ended up being xp I actually intended to be something between Starcraft Command Center and DragonBall Capsule Corp kkkk
@loxo I'm glad you liked it! I'm impressed with your skills!
@Grahhhhh Oh I see xp
Thank you all for playing!
@Gipzo I was wondering if I could actually categorize this game as tower defense ^^; Glad the story compelled you to keep playing~!
@davidcmcdonald Did you have some kind of error? Did you try using another browser? If nothing work you can still play the Windows build~
@Mirch Oh no, the field really consume a lot of energy, gotta keep pressing the recharge button as fast as you can~!
Wow, so many comments while I was away! Thank you all for playing!
@schizoid2k @Pixelaborate I'm sorry this game isn't worthy of your awesome skills... But I'm glad you still enjoyed it!
@eruiz00 I decided to do the scripting in C# over javascript... I guess I just like the verboseness xp
@Instant Noodles You're welcome! Thank you for checking out my game too!
If you are curious about the ending you can watch the walkthrough ^^
@pzeronow I hope the pain was worth it xxp
@TheJackiMonster Oh my, you couldn't play the web version too? If not I can build a Linux release, it just going to take some time...
@Afendar Why thank you! I'm glad the challenge didn't frustrate you! But you can watch the walkthrough if you're curious about the ending ^^
@Tanton-H2X I'm very glad you liked it! Happy new year too!
BTW Happy New Year to everyone!
@NirabazGAMES @kardfogu @M a r o o v a n Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@kardfogu Well, I guess that was inevitable...? It was either Slimes or Humans on Mars ^^;
@davisan Thank you for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!
@kardfogu Oh yes, but they were too xenophobic to just flee, and they knew that having humans on their planet would mean trouble xp
@Alphish I'm glad you liked it even though you couldn't finish it! Sorry making such a painful game ^^;
@yuigoto Another skillful player! I'm glad you liked it even though it's not worthy of you skills xp
I'll try to play your games, though I have not much time left!
Pro:
+ Very interesting concept
+ Cool use of theme
+ Audio and graphics are great
Con:
- I felt it could have either more randomness or more strategy to the choice of doors
Great work!
Pro:
+ Great music and graphics
+ Such a bad trip
Con:
- It get's really difficult to dodge and to know if I'm dodging or not
Obs:
o Could become a bullethell...?
Great work!
Pro:
+ Neat concept
+ A lot of planning ahead
Con:
- Sometimes the gas station would too far, and sometimes had 3 in a row, but hey, it's procedural generation, didn't except that it would be like totally balanced
Didn't forget to have fun! But this game isn't my life now... ;)
Pro:
+ Cool concept
+ Beginning was great
Con:
- The mid-late game becomes boring, just basic risk management, with little choice, since you can just skip the decisions, and no story behind the operations
- There were meaningless operations like Cost -1 Fund, Expected outcome +1 Fund (50%)
- Capabilities upgrades doesn't seem to have any effect on operations
Obs:
o Finished in 852 moves
Great job!
Pro:
+ Grahhhhh music is awesome
+ Creative concept
+ Animations seem nice, the moving platform was a bit weird though...
Con
- I felt it was a bit awkward to chose the commands with only right and left, but it is a clever way to fit the theme
Obs:
o It was hard to understand what was going on in the beginning, maybe if the ant was a bit bigger would help?
o There could be another background... xp
FANTastic job!
Pro:
+ Very interesting concept
+ Great mechanics
+ Graphics and sounds are nice
Con:
- I feel that it could be more strategic. Choices are pretty trivial to ensure survival. Easy mode is great because you can think about the impact the choice.
Great work!
Pro:
+ Interesting concept and take on the theme
+ Nice graphics
Con:
- A bit hard to read/click the words
Great job!
Pro:
+ Nice artwork
+ Good mechanics
Con:
- A bit hard to control
- When the bridge breaks it sort of gravitates the panda down. I used to jump and go fast on bridge but sometimes I would die trying
Obs:
o Does it have only one level? At the end of the level the panda just commemorated and control was passed to the mouse
Good job!
Pro:
+ Simple but fun concept/story
+ Nice audio and graphics
Con:
- A bit short... Maybe if I could avenge Masa
- Some more strategy beside key smashing would be nice
Score: 17760.97
Combo: 119
Average: 14.875
Great job!
Pro:
+ Very interesting mechanics
+ Great artwork
Con:
- Background artwork is a bit less polished than the rest
- Very difficult to control... maybe more buttons would be solve it(though it wouldn't the theme)
- Some collisions are a bit strange, specially with the walls
Obs:
o Yellow shots are way better than others
Great work!
Pro:
+ Nice graphics, music and audio
+ Funny concept
+ The puns were Oakkey
Con:
- Didn't really use Selfie skill
Obs:
o Trees were a bit hard to hit on windows, maybe on android is better?
Great job!
Pro:
+ Fun concept
+ Interesting mechanics
Con:
- Confusing rules, took some time to understand what's going on
- Difficult to control, though I understand it's to keep two buttons control
Great work!
I'll be back!
Pro:
+ Nice idea, remind me of Punch-out!
+ Cool graphics and sound
Con:
- It was pretty hard due to little enemy telegraphing
- Controls seemed a little unresponsive
Obs:
o There could be a differentiation between using the right or left fist. Maybe there is, but I didn't notice it.
Great job!
Pro:
+ Great and original concept
+ Awesome modelling and artwork
+ Great audio
Con:
- Sometimes my bullets would collide with each other
Obs:
o Couldn't get passed Muriel T_T
Awesome job!
Pro:
+ Nice emotional game
+ Music is nice, although a bit repetitive
Con:
- Choices doesn't seem to have any effect in story
Nice job!
Pro:
+ Graphics and music are nice
+ Cool attempt on a fighter
Con:
- There isn't much strategy to it, just mashing buttons, I would suggest having a timing to attacks (like cooldown or something... not sure if there already is), or other moves, but that would require more buttons
- It's a bit hard to tell the range and how/when I'm hitting the opponent
Great job!
Pro:
+ Very neat concept
+ Mood is great
Con:
- Too many bugs in movement and collision
- Graphics give a nice mood but they are too inconsistent (very pixelated background, regular sprites for ground tiles and well animated character)
Great job!
Pro:
+ Interesting / Weird concept
+ Animations and graphics are nice
Con:
- No way to lose
Obs:
o Giraffe is so weird >.<
Great job!
Pro:
+ Interesting experience
+ Tree model is nice
+ Great mood arranged
Con:
- It was a bit weird that it seemed night time but lighting was day time
- Tree and writings could have animation so it's more smooth.. But I guess I'm asking too much
Obs:
o Not that it really matters, but it kept prompting "Press e to sing" when the singing never stopped. Maybe it should pause and continue after the pressing the button?
o Windows build seems incomplete. Did you add all the data folder in the package?
Great job!
I also tried to run on windows 10 64-bits but no luck... It's like there is no file. Here's a screenshot http://imgur.com/QBzdIH8
Still doesn't work, sorry =x Good work anyway!
Pro:
+ Graphics are nice
+ Fun concept
Con:
- There could be more variety (but that would demand much more time)
- Having to drag and drop spells didn't feel very smooth
Great job!
Welcome to LD! Congratulations on making your first jam! Just finishing is already a great job~
Pro:
+ Music was simple, but nice, works with the game.
+ Jumping higher than the atmosphere and the ending is funny xp
Con:
- Physics was a bit awkward(I fell through the leaves sometimes, double jumping felt strange, when the character hit a leaf from the bottom he/she gravitated upwards)
- I felt the graphics a bit confusing.. There were pixel art, hand drawn and gradient.
OBS:
o First time I played I just went ahead and kept going forward forever
o When you die you can still run and jump
o It's weird to have a platformer without back.. I understand that it's supposed to fit the theme, but I don't know about the lack of control...
o So easy to go out of the atmosphere xp
Congratz and good work!
I see, but it was weird that some times I could actually stand between leaves, I guess it was under certain circumstances.
About running past the leaves, I actually did understand that I was suppose to climb, but I wanted to see what happened if I just went ahead xp
And the graphics, although they felt incoherent they were nice!
Still, great job!
Pro:
+ Awesome concept and take on the theme
+ Great mechanics
+ Cool graphics
Con:
- Took some time to understand how to play, but then it's just awesome!
Awesome work!

+ Great take on theme
Excellent work!
Pro:
+ Fun concept
+ Great writing
+ Nice graphics and music, giving a nice mood
Awesome cat work!
Pro:
+ Great music and graphics
+ Interesting mechanics
+ Challenging game
Con:
- Controls were a bit hard to get, some instructions would be nice too
Great work!
Pro:
+ Nice concept and story, a lot of potential
+ Audio and graphics give a nice mood
Con:
- Not much of mechanics, some more challenge would be nice
- Music was very loud
- Background was very pixalated compared to foreground
- Doesn't really fit the theme I think
Great job!
Pro:
+ Awesome block animation
+ Simple but fun mechanics
Con:
- Too easy (as stated in description)
Obs:
o Played Original version
Great entry!
Pro:
+ Interesting concept and mechanics
+ Graphics are cute
Con:
- A lot of collision problems, sometimes I even fell through the breakable floor
- Difficult to control
Great work!
Pro:
+ Nice graphics
+ Fun story, though a bit confusing
+ Clever twist of the theme
Con:
- Too long to beat >.<
- Too many creeps at the temple... I started avoiding all of them in the 2nd floor
Obs:
o Music is very low
Awesome job! Keep up the good work!
Pro:
+ Cool fun concept
+ Single and multiplayer, should be fun at parties
Con:
- Already pointed out, but very simple... Maybe a Wario Ware like with only two button mini-games?
Obs:
o I had to play alone...
Great job!
Pro:
+ Cute story, art and music (though a little repetitive)
+ Challenging (mostly the last levels)
Con:
- The changing of picture felt a bit unfair, always changing right before getting eating the sushi
Nice entry!
Pro:
+ Cool and simple concept (really liked the planetary stability management)
+ Nice assets
Con:
- A bit confusing with the game rules
- A bit too simple with the gameplay... Could expend to more planets maybe? Then controls would have to be different, but oh well
- Physically confusing (at least for me)
Great job!
BTW all the links are pointing to the same file
Pro:
+ Nice take on theme
+ Very cute concept and graphics
+ Simple but fun
Con:
- Physics was a bit weird, but I guess it's the engine
Great job!
Pro:
+ Ridiculous fun
+ Nice and various assets
Con:
- Mechanics are a bit too simple I guess... Felt it got old quickly...
Obs:
o Actually harder than I thought
o Such an intense music
Good work!
Pro:
+ Cool mechanics
+ Very nice audio and graphics
Con:
- Some hazards are really difficult to dodge (like the plane)
Obs:
o My best was 73
o I found a bit strange that when the partner swings to the other side the both fall, but I guess it's to avoid continuous swings
Great job!
Pro:
+ Nice story, clever ending
+ Cool approach of the theme
+ Simple but effective
Con:
- So much loading x.x
Great job!
Pro:
+ Nice graphics and cool audio
+ Fun concept and mechanics
+ Intense multiplayer
Con:
- So many abilities, hard to memorize all of them xp
- Some more buttons would be nice, though it wouldn't fit the two buttons theme
Awesome job!
Pro:
+ It gets hard really quickly
+ Graphics and sounds match nicely
Con:
- Well... it's just snake ^^;
- Graphics style is nice, but feels something wrong... I don't know if it's just too basic or the grid...
Obs:
o When I played snake I liked to use the 3-7 or 1-9 control, being diagonals they counted as left-up and right-down etc. The controls of this game it's a bit confusing, but not that hard to get
Great job in 6 hours!
Awesome mechanics! Great artwork too! The music I couldn't really listen though, I guess too low? I also have a huge problem with platforming with only one hand >.<
Unfortunately I had to skip two levels and one boss... Anyways congrats on your entry!
Yaiii! I beat it!! I love you too! Thank you for the last level xp
Really nice take on the theme! Loved the weeping angle-ish gameplay! Nice sound and atmosphere too! The chalkboards are a charm point!
Though I think it's too dark, sometimes it feels like the flashlight doesn't illuminate at all...
Anyways great entry!
Great game! Cool mechanics and nice graphics! The BGM was a bit low though, I actually didn't hear it at first, only knew that there was one because I read your postmortem...
I hope you don't mind that my game is very similar to yours ^^; (though it's not a shoot 'em up) At first I kept pressing the wrong buttons to shapeshift xp
Anyways great entry! I shall leave a comment about the post-compo version at itch.io!
Really nice mood! Though I'm still a bit lost T_T Sometimes I manage to make them talk about something else but can't see the pattern... I'll try again later! Anyways nice entry!
Nice game! It was fun! Graphics are great too (especially the title screen)! Took some time to understand it but I got it! Sort of... I still don't know if I win by resisting the waves or somehow attacking their boat? (I can hear an explosion in the background, but not sure what's happening since is past screen) My strategy was just keep spawning animals and don't let enemy soldiers appear on screen xp
Anyways great entry!
Simple but interesting concept! Though the control was a bit weird, especially the jumping, not always responding very well... Anyways great job!
Fun theme interpretation! ^^
It was really nice to play it! Just some times the background isn't quite right, but details...
First ending was Sleeper hit, then I got all endings =p
Great entry!
PS: + points for puppies and kittens
Great game! Loved the usage of the theme on escape the room! Mood, art and sound are really cool!
Awesome entry! Congrats!
Nice game! Music was really chill and mechanics are fun! Bear FTW!~ Graphics were nice too, though I missed some animation, but there's only so much time... And you had levels enough I think!
Anyways nice entry!
Nice concept! The enemies could have some different movement though... They always keep chasing you in a way that you can't really evade while shooting, also if one gets close enough it's almost certain death, since it seems like you can't get away from them and apparently they can't be shot. Sometimes they stack too... But with some more polish I think it will be a nice game!
Anyways great work!
Nice concept and take on the theme! It's pretty fun and graphics are really nice too! Congrats on your entry!
Nice story! Art and music are great! Though the checker board background almost gave me a headache...
Also I felt the movement too slow after you hatch... I mean, I understand that you don't just run around like when young, but still, just to walk to talk to Dad seemed to take some time...
Anyway great entry!
First of all, welcome to Ludum Dare! Hope you're enjoying it!
Nice mechanics! I really liked your concept, though a bit short!
Congrats on your first entry!
Great concept! Nice artwork and sounds too! Too bad I don't have a second player to play with me ^^; But I still played (awfully, with a QWERTY keyboard...) alone! Great entry!
Cool concept! Graphics and story is nice too! Hard to control though, especially to dodge bullets, but that's the point right? Congrats on your entry!
Pretty cool! Nice story, mood and usage of the theme in a text-based game! Great entry!
Very cool concept and mechanics! Graphics are very nice too! Got stuck in level 3 though =x
Anyways great entry!
Very cool and innovative! Though I don't quite grasp what's going on ^^; Graphics and audio are great too!
Anyways congrats on your entry!
Nice music! Graphics are nice too, though sometimes it's hard to tell whats foreground and whats background... also specially the rhino is a bit bloated. Jumping was also a bit weird, I did tried the fixed version but when the jump was at the normal height he wouldn't get passed the obstacle...
Anyway, great work!
Came just for the cover.... Just kidding xp Great concept! I really liked it! I especially liked the sensor! Graphics and audio are very cool too! Story is very fun too xp Only thing is that I always tried to press X to shrink and Z to stretch, not sure why, but that felt more natural to me, but maybe I'm just strange... Anyways, great entry!
Nice graphics and interesting concept, though it was a bit hard, specially the last level... I also didn't see much point with the shooting... There was little control to them and didn't seem to make that much of a difference other than keeping the shapes moving.
I tried to beat the game but twice the I cleared all shapes but the counter finished at one T_T
Congrats on your entry!
Wow very nice concept! Art and music are very nice too! But I guess it's too hard for me to control T_T Can't get through the reverse climbing part...
Anyway great entry!
Great concept! Cool graphics and really innovative! A little hard to pass the menu and understand how to play, so maybe some more instructions? Also a bit too hard for me, couldn't beat it xp
Anyways, great entry!
Great artwork and mechanics! Really enjoyed the game! Only thing is that I didn't understand the first level at first xp Maybe sign in the button? Or maybe I'm just stupid xp
Anyways, great entry!
Oh this is a very nice game! Really liked the take on the theme and concept! Artwork are simple but very nice (Richelle is adorable! Kkk). Humor was great too! Unfortunately I wasn't able to understand the pattern of the machine >.< (Guess I'm too stupid?) I got to collect around 40 objects but then I got stuck (in one try I had a item that suddenly disappeared, while duplicating another one?... Really don't know what happened).. But I'll try again later!
As @Swynfel suggested, I think it would be nice to Start and Re-roll button were the same, sometimes I would accidentally keep pressing the same button to change it the outcome but then I collected them xp I know it wouldn't make sense to the layout now, but just one suggestion... Maybe not make the start button the smile one?
Some indication if the item is new would also be nice too, or maybe just keep the image of the item in the catalog would already help~
When I played the post-jam version I totally skipped the tutorial thinking that the change screen button wasn't working xp (which, btw, the direct change button is very welcomed!)
I think that's it. Congrats on your entry! I'll keep track of your updates!
Nice game! Concept and graphics are really cool! I just wished I could tell the difference between foods xp and took some time to understand all the mechanics (like I figured out I could dodge waay later in the game) Anyways congrats on your entry!
Very interesting experience! Music choices are pretty good too! Great work!
Wow such innovative puzzle! Very confusing at first but then I started to understand it! Very hard too xp I guess some colors would help to visualize the modulo 4 value...
Completed some levels, I'll try to beat all of them later!
Anyways great work!
Great theme interpretation! I really liked the concept, graphics and audio! I just suck a bit, I find it very difficult to control ^^; I don't quite know what is it... I think it just feels that the sheep movement is not quite what I'm predicting... And sometimes I accidentally barked at the farmer xp
Anyways great entry!
Artwork and music is nice! A bit hard though, specially because collision is a bit weird (already addressed) and sometimes there was just no where to run...
Anyways, great work!
Oh your game is so clever! Loved it! Though the controls felt a bit stiff, and rotating to invalid positions was a bit strange, don't know if it was intentional.
Anyways great entry!
Fun game! Though it was hard to tell the guard's vision...
Congrats on your entry!
Nice concept! Audio was great! Transition was a bit laggy though... Also for some reason when I played with a controller the game suddenly froze. Anyways great entry!
Oh this is great! I love a text based game! The story is very interesting and engaging! Great set up! I got all 4 endings and a lot of information, but I can't exactly tell what happened.. Is there a way to know?
Anyway, great entry!
Neat game! Loved specially the main screen xp Music and graphics are really nice! I just couldn't find more than two reptilians... I guess I'm a terrible agent ^^;
Anyways congrats on your entry!
Very nice concept and audio! But as others have already pointed out, some more control to what shape you'll turn into would be nice! Still, great work!
Too bad you couldn't finished it... Modeling was very nice! Though I couldn't say if I was actually moving or not (besides rotation).
Although I also like making a game from "scratch" (I use at least a basic custom engine), using an engine sure helps with the time constraint (the last 2 LD I had to use Unity due to lack of time...), so I think you should at least consider using something, depending on your idea~
Anyways great work!
@Tanton-H2X Oh you are way too kind ^^ I'm so happy I actually inspired someone! Just beware that my code is super messy!
@schizoid2k I'm glad you enjoyed it! I know! I really wished I had enough time/skill to make some nice BGM...
@Kirzo @WizByte_Games Oh I see xp I'm sorry it was difficult to understand how to play the game. I wanted to make something more understandable in the first level, but I quite literally had to build the levels within minutes T_T I hope you enjoyed the game nevertheless!
@Jungle Thank you for playing too!
@GFM Oh I'm sorry I made it sound bad... I guess I was just frustrated because I could not finish everything I had in mind (specially BGM) and that everything was made in such a rush... But I liked the final result! Even though it's quite simple, as the saying goes, less is more, right? ^^ Anyway, I happy you enjoyed the game!
@Djapz30 I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I did think about that, but I though that you're a shape like the others, and you also die like the others xp, and wouldn't have the time anyways xp
But I know you can finish the game! You're almost there! Patience is the key here ^^
@kaovhmf Thanks! I'm glad you liked the game! I was extra careful with smoothness~ Yeah.. I miss the BGM too T_T Sorry for the SFX, it was really quite loud xp
@GaryS Why thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Hope you play it a lot! kkkk Oh yes, you can never be too careful in this game! It's so frustrating when you're like "Oh, I did it, just this one last key and there are only two shapes in my way, piece of cake"... but no... >.<
@omarhuseynov011 Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! Love the neon too ;)
@Ithildin I'm glad you enjoyed it! Well, better safe than sorry, it's still dangerous if you leave a couple of shapes out there xp (Oh thanks! But the concept is quite basic really, your "mix" was quite fun too! ^^ Oh I did use Geometry wars as reference too~)
@MountainRanger Thank you! Oh don't worry, to beat it you just need to patient, but I will be publishing a walkthrough soon! Hope you still enjoyed it though!
@BSODDevTeam Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
@Kifuga I'm glad you enjoyed playing! Even though the controls were challenging xp
@Paulgami Wow thank you! Well, I think being hard is part of the fun~ Oh since I'm getting such great feedback I'm actually thinking about making a post-compo with more features and levels! But that would have to wait till next week ^^;
@Chaserbrown Thank you for playing and for the feed back! I never though about making movement through mouse, I'll take a look!
@pixel_maniacs Why thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
@Vantaug Thank you! I'm glad you had fun! Even though it's simple I put a lot of effort to make it nice and smooth ^^
@davalcordub Oh thank you! Glad you enjoyed playing!
@pkenney Thank you for playing and for the feedback! It is really nice to see your path getting cleared xp
Oh yes, I didn't have time for it but I was planning a first stage kind a like Super Mario level one, with no tutorial but the stage itself makes the player learn the concepts.
But yeah... the difficulty escalates a bit quickly.. I will try to make progression better in post-compo version!
@DSSiege11 Oh thank you! I hope you enjoyed even dying a lot though xp
@fin_nolimit Oh I'm so happy you loved it! Thank you!
@ConorOD Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it!
@SpringCabal Oh yes, but then I would have to put it in Jam category I guess ^^; But I'll add it in a post-compo version! (if I manage to do it...)
@thedashdude Oh yes, for the possible post-compo version I'm thinking about having some different mechanics, not exactly each shape have its own behavior, but some other stuff in the arena that will make your shape react depending on the shape!
@neilcorre2k6 I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for playing!
@Kerdelos I'm sorry it wasn't enjoyable for you =x Well, it is a very simple concept/mechanic, maybe if I add some more features it would be more fun? Anyway I'll try harder next time! Thank you for the feedback!
@Alphish Wow! Well, I'm not very acquainted with quarks, but when I modeled the game I was just thinking about basic electrical forces ^^; (with 3 charges, but whatever). Oh yes, if I get to make a post-compo version I'll try to make more elaborated stages and more features to have a better flow! Thank you for the feedback!
I also was amazed by @Kirzo's skills xp
@A-Flat Miner Studios I'm glad you enjoyed it, even though it was difficult at first! Thank you for playing!
@Tanton-H2X Thank you for playing my game again! I'm very happy you enjoyed it! I'll let you know for sure! Oh you can't shapeshift your shape? That's odd... What happens? You press the number and it won't change at all?
@yuigoto Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Oh yes, the levels were pretty much made in the last minute, so I didn't have the time to tweak them... But in the post-compo version I'll make more levels (and with more features?) ^^
@Tanton-H2X Oh yes! Thank you for the feedback! It will surely help! Sorry for the late reply too xp
Nice game! Great graphics and audio! Though the collision was a bit weird, specially the walls (that you already addressed), and the camera movement when going downwards...
Anyway great entry!
Nice twist! Mood, audio and art are great! Though there were some pictures that kept flickering while playing, and some of the collisions were weird, like the Next room text, or when someone bump into me.
Anyways great entry!
Nice graphics and music! I took some time to understand what I was supposed to do though... Maybe I was just too slow xp But I also agree with @Ilseroth about hitting the previous shape... Anyways great entry!
Nice concept and cool mechanics! Though control was a bit hard, very slippery... Also fire shot was a bit useless I think... ice was way superior! Anyways, great work!
Simple, yet fun game! Loved the graphics, the audio and the setting xp Great ship and enemy designs kkkk Those cigarettes are so annoying T_T
Anyway, congrats on you entry!
Very cool idea! Great artwork and audio too! Just was a bit lost with the gameplay, I had to use the hints to get what I had to do ^^;
Anyways congrats on your entry!
Very neat idea! Audio and graphics are really cool! (gotta love the vector graphics xp) At first I tried hard to pay attention and click in the right places, but the time is so short >.< Which is fine, it keeps really fast paced! Although I couldn't pay attention in how much time was left and how my combo was going.
So in my second run I just clicked everywhere and it went better than before! Maybe some punishment for invalid click? (though it would hurt if you clicked right after something shapeshifted... happened to me ^^;)
Anyways great work!
Great artwork and sound (except for some sfx, they were a bit obnoxious)! Cool mechanic too! I really liked the character and the boss too!
Well, it does has its flaws, like already pointed out, sticky walls, slow platforms (and no indication of them), a bit unresponsive to turn into stone, too much life, stone transformation is much more useful in late game. But those things you can fix, and you will have a very nice game! I'll look for your post-compo later!
Great work!
Great concept ans usage of the theme! A bit unforgiving though, it was very hard to play it alone xp Congrats on your entry!
Very cool atmosphere! Audio and graphics are nice too! Though it took very long to understand what was going on, I guess it's because I couldn't see very well that there were souls in the cages, also I took some time to understand what the parts do (though I still don't know what nose and ear are for)
So I got ending 2, 3 and 4, don't know about the 1 still ^^;
Oh the movement and collision were a bit odd, it jagged a little when turning and I could walk though the wall and it seemed to climb it a little...
Anyway great entry!
Very cool graphics and sound! Mechanics are nice but I think it's really hard to aim (even with controller) and felt a bit overwhelming at first, with all colors in the screen. So I stuck with one color and killed all other colors and then proceeded with cleaning the previous color.
Anyways, great work!
Though unfinished concept seemed pretty cool! Great work! Hope in the next LD you can finish your game~ ^^
Nice graphics and sound! Mechanics were cool too! Great entry!
Great game! Art work and sounds are very nice! Really fun having your shape shifted by the animals sucking, kind a like Kirby!
Though I didn't see much the point of having the turtle, so I would just suck which animal I wanted and then stopped. Also there are a lot of leaps of faith, and since the camera doesn't follow you quickly I can't see what's under me, which sometimes led to my death..
Oh there was one time that I jumped from a high place and landed on the corner of the ground and got stuck there, though I don't know if I can reproduce it xp
And it took me a long time to realize that there is double jump, maybe put it on instruction?
Anyways, great entry!
We seem to bump into each other every LD now xp The main screen is lovely! Can't wait to play it! (But I think you should've posted the jam version the way it is and then post a complete post-jam version...)
@Tanton-H2X Oh thank you, you are too kind! I always try to learn something new to bring and test in LD, but this time I couldn't (well, I did mess around with vector graphics, but that was about it)...
I see, well, hope you improve enough to be able to do everything faster ^^
About the game, lovely graphics and music! Mood and concept is great! But as others pointed out, is really confusing what I'm supposed to do (even with the tips).. In my first play I got stuck after finding the green flower(?).
I think the main reasons for the confusion were the maybe too subtle goals and feedback, I didn't know what I was supposed to do or go (those leaves and little flowers kinda seemed in the background, the other stuffs seemed more important, and at the end I needed to go to the left screen edge...?); and control, it was a bit hard to maneuver, especially without knowing what were the boundaries. Also when I got the green fella the control rules seemed to change suddenly, so it was really hard to go to other places (though I'm not sure if I needed to go somewhere else).
Then I played for a second time and I realized better what I was supposed to do, and I was able to finish!
The last stage was a bit confusing too, but I just followed the pattern of trying to get leaves, and then I saw there was pollination(?) and everything went well!
Anyways, great work! See you later, I guess xp
Well, it IS Flight of a (metal) bee.... But I don't know what I'm supposed to do T_T Nice graphics though~
Good work!
Nice shoot em up! But I wasn't able to transform, even though I had my energy bar filled...
Anyway great work!
@WizByte_Games Oh I see! Yeah, that what was going on! That's weird... I wonder why... I didn't have any problems with that in my game...
Nice concept and graphics! Sometimes I didn't really got to read the text because I walked a bit fast and lost some of it xp
Anyways great work!
Nice beat 'em up! Though it does lack feedback, I don't know when I'm hitting or when I'm hit.. I got 139 points, and at that point it was a bit repetitive... Anyways good work!
Nice work on your first graphics! Though some had different resolution (like the crystal seemed to have a higher resolution than the others), and the TARDIS(?) had some gray "spots" on it, don't know if intentional.
About the mechanics, I liked the concept of having two lines and you transform to different characters depending where you are, but it doesn't seem to make a difference, other then the sprite.. Would be nice to have something unique to each one. Also best strategy seems to be placing just fire towers, so maybe nerf a bit them? Just some suggestions xp
Anyway great work!
Very challenging! Though having to choose fast with a mouse was a bit difficult...
I found a bug where when you get a shape right and keep submitting your score keeps going up and it counts for other shapes and rounds!
Anyways great entry!
Nice idea, graphics and audio! Only it was a bit easy tell who wasn't the wolf by just checking who had different lines... But there is time to do only much... Anyways great work!
Great game! Really liked the concept, the art and the music! The original version was really unforgiving and had some collision problems, and was reaaally difficult, couldn't finish the first world ^^; The post-jam version however seemed way easier (still some levels were hard, but over all was easy, some of them was basically keep using octopus power).
Btw the window was way too big for my monitor xp but still was able to play it. After finishing grassland the menu didn't go to fantasy world, I had to manually change the world, and Lava lake seemed impossible >.< had to skip it.
Anyways congrats for your entry!
Very nice graphics and audio! Mechanics are cool, but took some time to understand it... Also it was a bit difficult to distinguish what's background and what's obstacle... Also felt a bit unfair when I landed past the center of a "rock" but still died... So I wasn't able to beat it ^^;
Anyways great entry!
That was strangely funny.... kkk I would like to point out only that the graphics are a bit inconsistent, the locals are waay too pixalated compared to other assets.
Great entry!
Very nice concept! I'd love to see more to this later too! It still needs something to be against you of course, and someway to make the merchant stats important, I didn't see what they were affecting really...
Oh I had the same effect of @Imperial Unit, The pink line always started with my first city, or some other when I did something like clicking twice the same city of something...
Anyways great entry!
First of all, welcome to Ludum Dare! I hope you're enjoying it!
It's very simple, not much to it since it's not complete, but still it's a start! Congrats on your first game!
Btw I agree with the tips that @Hankenstien and @mike.cullingham gave you!
Nice concept! Though it's a bit hard to figure out how to play it... Still can't kill things decently xp
Anyways great work!
Nice concept! Interesting how you applied Beauty and the Beast to this theme!
Game was simple enough, but the graphics and sound are great! I would really like to see the rest of the story!
It was also quite hard, since it's basically one hit kill, but I know I were supposed to lose there xp
Anyway, great entry!
Nice concept! Interesting take on TD! Graphics are nice too~
Great work!
This game was a SUGAR EXPLOSION! Kkkk Nice work Jasmine! Lovely graphics! Audio was great too xp Simple but fun! Though a bit confusing without the tutorial xp Anyway great work!
Welcome to LD! Hope you're enjoying it~!
At first my score was 1200, after tayl1r tip I got 4300!
Very nice indeed for your first game! I like the clean graphics and the music~ Though in the first screen I kept clicking the star and the "SPACE" text xp
Oh also sometimes I got stuck in the wall while trying to slide up/down
Anyways congrats on your entry!
@GaryS Oh I see, if you're using AABB on each block then maybe that's your problem. I also had this problem with collision on squares side by side. The things is that even though they are at same line, it may detect a collision on the edge of the next square, thus making you stop. The only solution I had found was to make a box collider around the whole "wall", not one for each box. I hope this helps!
PS: Sorry for mentioning the problem twice, somehow I skipped your comment about it ^^;
Nice bullet hell! Though a bit too difficult from start? Some progression would be nice! Music is always an issue for me ^^; But it turned out cool!
Anyways nice entry!
Lemmiwinks! kkkk Great artwork and audio! Concept is really nice too, it was really funny xp Too bad the unicorn never helped me... kkk. Though as some people already pointed out, I too had some problems with shapeshifting to the closest object.. But still great entry!
First of all, welcome to Ludum Dare! I hope you're having fun as much as I had fun playing your game! Great entry! Loved the graphics and the humor! Congrats on your entry!
PS: For some reason the windows build always resize the window to 640x480... was this supposed to happen?
Well, I died pretty fast, a real bullet hell xp The controls are a bit stiff, you can't move diagonally and move a bit too fast, it's good to move a bit slower so you can control your maneuvers. Some instruction would be really nice too, it took me some time to figure out that E shoot, specially with death coming so fast that you can't experiment with the controls xp Some collisions were a bit weird too, some shots passed through the enemy. And I thought it was a bit too noisy, so many sounds at the same time... Anyways great work!
Very cool concept! It was really fun! It's weird how nobody panics after seeing someone shapeshift in front of them and even a flying cake xp.
Well, it was a bit strange the way to get the milk though... Some collision detection was a bit weird too. Anyways, great work!
Wow that was a bit sick, insane, and constantly SHAPESHIFTING game... kkkk No, seriously, the mood was great! Really creepy! Audio and graphics did a very good job! Great entry!
Nice concept and graphics! I found a bit hard to control though, since there are so many buttons to press ^^;
Sometimes I couldn't reflect the laser back to the sentry, don't know why, only some angles had that effect... Also I think the only transformations I used were Arcade and mirror, besides that I would just run around swinging my sword xp Oh and the light cone of the cameras didn't seem to represent their cone of view, sometimes I would get killed still outside the cone...
Anyways great work!
Great artwork! Too bad you didn't have time to finish the game... I also had the bug of the head flying around xp Anyways, great work!
Nice space food! I imagine it's all they have there kkkk Graphics and audio are nice! It gets repetitive after a while though, since it doesn't seem to have a progression. Also some meteors seem to be too fast to dodge. Anyways great work!
Art style is really nice! Though there were some problems with animation, especially when walking diagonally. Some things didn't represent very well the collision box too (like the rocks). I don't quite get what I'm equipping/dismantling and what the effects are... Anyways, great work!
Nice game! Music and graphics are cool! I had some bugs with a fainting woman flying through the room, or having to constantly walk around the "body" to shapeshift, but that's ok. I had a bit trouble understanding the second level... I still don't know if I did it right... Missed some running too.
Congrats on your entry!
Neat concept! Art work is great, specially the chalkboard! Just, as already noted, is really difficult... Sometimes it takes me quite some time too identify the transformation...
Anyway nice entry!
Pretty funny game! And also nice take on the theme xp Great entry!
Nice models and concept! Though the control was a bit weird, but I guess that's the point xp My strategy was just hold the mouse button and run in circles with the hammer~ Btw, is there any difference between weapons? I found the hammer as the best, since it does more damage and range seems a bit longer, but not sure...
Anyways, nice entry!
That was fun! Loved the humor! The story was very nice! It's a pity that you can't play as Megan and Fred though... Anyways nice entry!
Great interpretation of the theme! I loved it! Graphics are really nice too! I wish I had a way to know what's the difference between units, and at least move them from flanks in between waves. Anyways great entry!
Awesome artwork! Sound is great too! But as others, I don't get what I'm suppose to do ^^; Except controlling dinosaurs, which is fun! Anyways great work!
That was funny! Kkkk artwork and audio was great! Although it felt a bit unresponsive, sometimes i pressed the button but the mutagen would pass not purified (or it seemed like so). Also some more feedback (maybe audio?) if you're doing it right or wrong..
Anyway greats work!
Nice concept! Music and graphics are nice too! It could maybe be a rhythm game? Just an idea... Anyways great work!
Great concept! Though the camera movement made me a bit dizzy, like at the beginning of Soul Trumpet song.
Awesome work!
Nice artwork! It's great! Though as others I'm quite confused about what I should do...I was able to set off the first torch, but whenever the guard comes close I get NullPointerException (GuardController.java:29)... Also I can't find a way to get past him... I'll try it again later!
Nice game! Graphics are nice and is really challenging! Though I would say the challenge curve is a bit too steep for me... At first is really easy and then suddenly is too hard >.<.
Also I think something in the background would be nice, not just pure black...
Anyways great entry!
Very interesting concept!
Great entry, even though it's not complete!
/***************** SPOILER ALERT **********************/
I know you didn't have the time, but it would be nice to use more the first dimension set to solve puzzles.. It was only used in the first level...
Great mood! Enemies designs are nice~ The walking cycle was a bit weird though, and when I shot behind me the character would stay in the same position, but details...
I had no problems with crash, but I did hear some Windows sound when getting a medpack xp
Anyway great job!
PS: Congratz for you first LD and welcome!!~
Congrats and welcome to LD! The game was cute and the sprites were nice! Though as Dietrich I just kept spamming attack key while moving xp
It was a bit hard to tell if the enemies were dead or not though, but details...
Anyway nice job!
What a lovely game! Graphics are cute and music is great! Mechanics are simple enough but with a nice difficulty curve, getting difficult from level 9, I'm stuck at level 13 >.< Gonna try to beat it again later!
Some issues: Sometimes the soundeffect when getting a musical note is too low and I can't hear it. Some other times the bgm would suddenly stop, and maybe resumed when changing/restarting a level, and only one time the level actually didn't restart after I failed, and I had to close the app manually.
Anyway, great job!
Yaiii I beat it!!.... I think.... xp
Concept is neat and the minimalist aesthetic is really nice. I really miss some SFX, but time is short. And I am still a bit confused...
Anyway nice job!
I liked the concept of the game (though I think it is a bit off the theme), and graphics were nice, but I had some issues with it.
First, as reported, I'm using windows 10 and I tried x64 fullscreen and it seemed like a borderless window <http://imgur.com/a/V8aoQ>, the x64 windowed version would just stop responding, so I played the x86 windowed one.
Like already reported, I thought too at first that if I sent the spy next to the city it would be enough, taking a while to get that he should get precisely at the city. Another thing I didn't understand at first was the "world trend awareness" progress bar, I had to read through the comments to get it.
Finally, I thought too that the game gets really slow towards the end, to the point of getting frustrating, with no new mechanics or challenge.
But still, it was a very neat idea and a nice work! Great job~
Great concept! Sounds and graphics although simple fit very well too~
I guess I'm not very good at multitasking ^^; Never got to the blue boxes, even though I played for a while... I also took a while to get how to play it, and I agree that maybe some progression would be nice. Anyway nice job!
PS: I'm using windows 10 and it ran fine
Very nice atmosphere, music and graphics are great! A bit short but still challenging (maybe because the control was a bit hard? But I'm used to invert Y axis, so maybe it's just me). The sphere were a bit scary to jump on xp. Nice job!
Really liked the sprites! Though the tiles felt a bit mismatched with the rest... I couldn't find out how to attack with the sword, but the crossbow was just fine, specially because it goes through the walls xp The hit boxes felt a bit weird too, but maybe that was just me.
Couldn't get the Tachyon upgrade though, I think I just got HP pickups, but not sure... I got stuck in level three as already reported, but I could play more of this~^^ Nice job!
Wow I'm impressed with the amount of work done in compo time =O Very simple, but still very complete game that feels good, though it seemed a bit too easy...? Or maybe I was just lucky with items? xp
Sometimes it was a bit hard to determine if I actually hit the target (once I kept hitting the guy but his life didn't go down, not sure why), and I think the corpses also are hit by projectiles.
Anyway great work!
Very interesting design! Same as already stated: it's kinda difficult to see perspective; the last (and "real") puzzle was nice; had difficulty realizing that I can jump diagonally.
Dialogues were fun ^^, reminded me of GLaDOS (though the orb does reply). Controls felt nice too! Though I think autoconnect floors and walls would help to see the height, I wonder how it would look in an isometric view.
Great work~!
PS: I played through the post-jam version.
What a fun little game! Graphics and music are nice, dialogues are great xD In my first run I was able to only sell one item >_< But in my second I sold to all four of them!....? But apparently I missed one sale...? Also apparently I could take as long as I wanted to make a sale and it didn't affect my score.
Anyway great job!
@ObscenelyTrue Sorry for the late reply! Last week I was really sick >_< Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@rodobodolfo @SamuelSousa @g12345 I thought strange when you were saying about the scrolling being tedious and all, so I checked it and apparently the scroll resets to the beginning after a choice! When I originally tested I only played it on Chrome, what a mistake! Did you play on Firefox? The actual behavior should be the auto scrolls start from where you are and go to the new choices... I'll be looking on to it!
@Geckoo1337 Oh yes, in fact the Ink scripting language was developed to turn one of those adventure books into a game! I've always wanted to read one of those but never had the chance T_T But I'm glad my story evoked good memories~
Yes, I really wanted some BGM! But my composition skill is very limited... But now I added a recommended BGM, I hope the playthrough will be better~
Thank you all for playing and for the feedback! Cheers~
Sorry for the late reply! Thank you all for playing and the feedback!
@Alphish I'm glad that it was worth your time~! =D I was going to have some more information about the planet in case the player decided to stay outside the shield, but I didn't have time to write everything I wanted ^^; (But ultimately the player would die). Oh yes, I wanted to add a restart button, but I'm not sure if there is a way using Ink, I'll definitely try again next time! Sorry for the inconvenient!
@Waynetron Sorry about the size ^^; I was thinking about having smaller font size, but didn't know if it would be a problem... And maybe I got overexcited with my writing and produced too long texts xp
@jsmars It should be working now! If not you can always play on itch.io ;)
@darthbox1 Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it ^^
@SamuelSousa Thank you for the reply! I think it should be better now!
Great Zelda vibe! Sprites are nice, though I miss SFX but no big deal. I just wished the collision box for the character to be smaller, it even took me a while to see that I was able to cross the bridge =O. Also some feedback on damage would be nice. But then again, maybe some SFX was needed. Just a touch of balance, maybe make the hearts not heal all health?
Anyway, nice job!
Great game! Nice graphics, cool physics and mechanics~ Though one time I got killed right after the character jumped off the boat T_T Anyway great work!
Cute little game! Graphics and music were nice, but there were some problems in situations like when I was below a tree, and the collision detection wasn't really smooth, but details...
/************ SPOILER ALERT **********************/
I was a bit lost when I went to the skeleton, since there was just a placeholder image there xp. Is there a way to fight against the slimes? I got a thing and instantly died when one slime ran into me.
I tried again and dodged the slimes and went to the top of the pyramid but opened a majestic volcano! Is there another ending? =O
Nice job!
Great work! Got nice vibes from Elite Dangerous~
Pros: - Nice simulation - Cool mood
Cons: - Took me some time to be actually able to maneuver, and still got shot down fairly easy from pirates, but maybe I just suck at this
Cheers!
This was.... ah... what? Great art style and mood! Super weird, but I suppose all dreams are
Cheers!
Nice entry! Loved the assets! The music is super fun~ I just hoped we could attack the zombies instead of colliding with them
Cheers!
Sorry, I'm also interested in the concept but I'm lost here, and with the mouse going to my second monitor
Nice game!
Pros: - Cool concept - Nice graphics and music
Cons: - Took a lot of time to understand how to play it (actually got a clue after seeing the gif you posted), like didn't even know that it was a brick and that I could throw it and break glass. - Got confused in the level design. Didn't make to the top, but I'm not even sure if that's the way I'm supposed to go.
Cheers!
Cool concept! I liked the mechanics but really confusing indeed, not sure how I did it but I saved the world from Elon Musk XD
Thank you all for playing and the feedback!
@denneledoe Ohh I didn't even think about it! Thanks! I'm going to just leave it for now (rating time!), but if more people complains about it then I will change it.
@devio Sorry it wasn't that very clear, I added one more instruction to the page! The challenge is keeping your desk organized enough (it ___is___ a very limited space) so you can complete the tasks in time~, or just throw everything and go brute force :stuck_out_tongue: I'm sorry that wasn't clear enough :pensive:
@j0ye Yeah, he is not supposed to walk, imagine he is attached to a chair  Sorry the PC was too annoying though, I was actually worried if it was too annoying, but I needed to give it a personality otherwise it would be too boring, so that's what I ended up with :sweat_drops:
Thank you all for playing and for the feedback~ I'm glad you are enjoying it!
@felipeallmeida I'm so sorry for the confusion! I just updated the game changing a little bit the wording so hopefully it is now clearer that you need to hold it before pressing it  And @michael-feldman Yes! I was going for the lab/office environment feeling
@shredmer Oh, it actually means the number corresponding to the sequence, not how many sequences there are of it  But yeah, I didn't go much for replayability for this one, but I'm glad you enjoyed it nevertheless!
@punisherxa I'm glad that even though it was a bit obscure you enjoyed it~
@juno Yees, I was having some problems on that, and I even teleport the object so that it avoids hitting any object in it's track, but once it's in your "hand" I can't stop any collision from happening  Picking objects from the floor was out of the question (except nearby ones) because then the player would have "unlimited" space to manage the objects. Also interacting without grabbing any object would mean that the player can just leave everything as is and not have to manage anything, so the end result is what it is  Anyway, I'm glad this didn't stop you from liking the game :smile_cat:
Thank you all for playing and for the great feedback!
@poffle Ohh VR would be a good idea, though I don't have one to actually test it  @laura-angel Sorry about the time! Perhaps I playtest it for too long so the time for me was fairly easy! Maybe add difficulty selection? On other note, I tried to make the instructions clearer by changing the text a little and adding the instructions in the page of the game, do you think it's not enough? Would you suggest something else to make it clearer? BUt you're right, you are supposed to feel under pressure in this game, sorry it didn't give you a pleasant feeling
@captaindreamcast Glad you enjoyed it! Since the ball and cylinder are very easily to be lost I ended up making that task happen only once  But still if you completed it and drop them by accident in any other task you would get electrocuted!
@killing-kitty Ohh that's part of being careful with everything on the table, and you ___can___ move it to a safer location, if you need  But I could've add a respawn of the screen given I had the time :sweat_drops: Thank you for the advice!
@tokumei I'm so sorry I could'nt make a Linux build! I'll try to make one as soon as I can (and learn how to)! In the mean time, I uploaded a video with the playthrough, if you just want to check how it is~
@saoi-games Oh, I'm sorry to hear about the stream, though it's an honor to be featured  Sorry about the controls being a bit obscure, I will try to add some clearer instructions when I can! Also I'm not sure why you were shocked even though you completed the task... Maybe you couldn't finish it in time? In any case, thank you for playing the game!
Tahnk you all for playing!
@gabsep Glad you enjoyed it!
@matank Sorry about the instructions being a bit obscure, next time I will try to be clearer and do what you suggested! Maybe on the book task you didn't interact with them? Thinking about it now it's also not very clear
@tokumei I made the Linux build, couldn't test it though, I hope it works!
Thank you for playing!
@mza I lacked the time to add bgm, but I also think it is more fitting this way  I also added a low hum (actually the sound of my HDD  ) to give more immersion!
@bustosman There is a difference between buttons sequence and color sequence, I think that's the issue
@vekstr While testing it was very satisfying throwing things XD
Thank you for playing!
@demn Ahh yes, I had an idea afterwards that if you lost the computer you would be punished by one electrocution but then you would be given a new one, but oh well, I will keep that idea for the next one
@merpader Sorry for making it a bit obscure  I will pay more attention in the text next time!
Thank you all for playing and enjoying!
@adonisdevs Electrocution meant you didn't make it in time, and I didn't want to have a health meter so not to break character of the game, I guess...? But also no time for that  @thepiratenun The physics is basically just the default of the Unreal Engine, but the grabbing and interaction mechanic I made from scratch :smiley_cat:
Thank you all for playing!
@renier Ah yes, I intended to just click an object to interact with it at first, but them you could just leave everything on the table and click, without the need of lifting anything
@dovakla  Yeah, the main issue from my game is teaching to do the first interaction, I will be more careful next time~. And yes, the sphere and cylinder is just required once, since it was very easy to loose them, and you get 3 strikes before fainting, so if you it is totally skipable
@big-cow Thank you for the feedback! The printing is done with a delay between each concat of the letters in the string, so maybe the delay is taking longer than intended, and the timer for the next phrase/task is started at the beginning of the printing, so that's probably the issue. Sorry for not foolproofing that  I will keep it in mind on my next one!
Nice entry!
Pros: - Cool Neon/Arcade style - Controls feels nice
Cons: - Feels very empty, maybe too few enemies? And only feel the closing walls by the end game
Obs: Since the bullets don't have lifetime, I just rotated and kept shooting, destroying a bunch of things, or at least I think since I heard the sfx and my points increased
Cheers!
Nice game! I have a strange feeling about it though, maybe because it's a reverse yandere thing? Idk.... I liked the mechanics and the assets are nice.
Cheers!
Very nice game! Cool mechanics, reminds me of [windowframe](https://managore.itch.io/windowframe) (wow, 7 LDs ago :scream: )
Pros: - Nice mechanic implementation - Art and effects
Cons: - Attacks felt a bit stiff, but it could be just me
Obs: I'm playing on windows (64bits) and it crashed for me twice, 1st time while loading 4th level and another loading 5th level. I played both with HD and LD mode. Also, it could be just me, but for some reason I feel that the penguin sprite is in a lower resolution than the other assets...? idk
Cheers!
Nice satisfying game! Don't have much to add, since many have already commented on the brush size and clicking mechanics, but alas, it is a jam and it's hard to get everything on time :smiley_cat: Glad you had fun in your first LD! Welcome!
Cheers!
What an honor! :confetti_ball:
That was so good! Loved the assets and the humor! Just one bug when I tried to rewriting the song and it stopped at "killing my wife" and the head bobbed forever. (I guess like drauthius's bug)
Nice entry!
Pros: - Cool concept - Very atmospheric
Cons: - The spirals grow kinda slow, so I didn't feel the "running out of space"
Obs: When the spirals get a collision box everyone inside it is expelled, so I experienced some blinking moments
Cheers!
Nice game! Simple but fun, with great assets and effects~. The only thing that got me was that the holes seemed a bit unforgiving, I just grazed them and I fell  Last level difficulty is brutal! I got so close to home, but I didn't manage to finish it...
Cheers!
Wow, a lot of work was put on this! Great art style, long story with a many branching and endings~ I was able to live together with everybody :smile_cat: Also made the stress 100 just to see what happens
Cheers!
Cute entry!
Pros: - Drawn graphics, animations and music are nice - Mechanics concept is fun
Cons: - The (I suppose) realistic background is kinda odd for me, since the rest is very cartoony - The movement felt a bit clunky
Obs: Is there only one stage? I got to a rotating pink pill but then I didn't know what to do... I tried entering the pipe and walked all the map but couldn't find what to do
Cheers!
Nice boss fight! Assets are great and really builds the mood. Very challenging, though almost all hits are death ensured (played jam version). One thing that was a bit annoying was the time it took to die, since the destroy area was way below the stage. Other than that, great entry
Cheers!
Great concept! Nice take on the theme, assets are awesome! (lacking a bit on sound side, but oh well, it's a jam)
Cheers!
Very fun little game! Loved the assets and mechanics~ Just have the same complaint as @peringo , I the house was too big to actually be able to go back and up and throw the garbage in a reasonable time, or even to the helicopter, I just sold everything worth something in the first floor, rarely going for the helicopter and was able to survive up to the 3rd month
Cheers!
Awesome puzzle game! Loved all the assets, great mechanics, very well polished!
A minor point, but I feel it would be convenient to have a button to send the train off instead of it automatically going after you settle last passenger, and maybe a way to swap two passengers?
Oh and I didn't get actually how the hungry alien chooses his pray
Cheers!
Great mood, I felt really spooked and claustrophobic!
Pros: - Mood - Assets
Cons: - Took some time to understand how the holy water worked, and still sometimes it looked like it didn't work...? (specially if I take one right after another
Obs: Felt a bit cheated when the first curve I made it was a dead-end and the fire reached me. Also when I reached the exit I could see the whole environment through the last door
Cheers!
Great puzzles! Art style and mechanics are nice~ As the others, I got stuck after level 5  And I'm also missing a next button, but that's details...
Cheers!
What great experience!
Pros: - Awesome art and music - Nice decision making and story
Cons: - Felt that some text were a bit long and hard to digest while others very simple/short - Got a bit confused on the chronology, I just thought the Comb was about Rose, not Eva, since the previous memories I thought there were more focus on her.
Obs: Also I actually took some time to understand the last one
Aaand my choises were Sacrifice, Intimacy, Shooting stars and Treatment!
Cheers!
Really fun game! Had some good laughs while playing it!
I don't think I can add much to the comments though, Jern did a great job pointing out all the points I would make~ Though... what do A. and A.A. stand for?
PS: I never actually tried to cause a war, the other options were fine by me, I would just to see the "cutscene". Also, dreamcast port!!
Cheers!
Fun little game~ Specially the 2nd stage was quite fun! The first stage I felt maybe too long? The stage is so big and only one place to protect  And the final stage I liked the idea, but I just rushed to the boss and sprayed on her~ Also just one thing I thought it was a bit weird was the spray speed, when I moved it seemed I moved almost as fast as it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Other than that, the design was nice and the different settings very appreciated! Great work!
Cool game! Nice implementation of mechanics and assets~ I had some trouble figuring out how to work with the doors, but I guess I was just stupid  (actually, on my first play I think I saw a panel on the wall and I thought I had to use it to operate the doors, but I've never seen it again... maybe my imagination?)
Very nice game! Great assets (I was surprised by the dynamic music) and fun mechanics~ I wished there was an option to destroy building, do you think it would not fit the theme? キャプチャ.PNG
I almost ran out of food
Cheers!
Welcome to LD! Glad you had a good time~
Pros: - Simple but fun mechanics - Nice assets
Cons: - Felt too easy for me, over 300secs and didn't feel pressured at all - I also just left the ad with password aside so that made things very simple for me
Cheers!
Nice game!
Pros: - Cute art style and sound - Fun mechanics
Cons: - Camera shake and the radial blur was a bit too much for me (the blur in specific gave a motion feeling) - Felt like the level progressed slowly (ended my play in act #3 because it looked like it wasn't moving on)
Obs: Best strategy: stay in the air spamming bullet bills!
Cheers!
Such a cool game!
Pros: - Super nice mood and feeling while playing - Very fun gameplay
Cons: - Took some time to get used to the controls (maybe the ultra setting was a bit laggy in my pc) and to understand that only touching the walls killed you (specially the behind one)
Cheers!
Nice game, a bit too difficult for me, couldn't finish the last level  The assets are really nice, with the whole GB feel! Btw, for some reason the font would get pretty big and the letters got a bit weird:キャプチャ.PNG
@felipedev Google Chrome version 68.0.3440.106 64 bits
Fun little game!
Pros: - Cute art style & music - Satisfying mechanic
Cons: - It can get a bit boring, sometimes there is nothing new going on - Sometimes it felt impossible to hit to planets in very similar orbit but opposite directions, so I just waited in a higher orbit
Cheers!
Ohhh that's a future I would like to see
Pros: - Great mood with assets! - Fun game play
Cons: - A bit tricky to play
Obs: Maybe I'm just bad at it, but I couldn't find a good way to lose "Luigi"'s sight from "Mario"
Cheers!
Great game! My highscore was I think around 14k?
Awesome assets and cool mechanics! I just wished there was a way to temper with the cannon speed. Sometimes it felt like just chasing him then he suddenly changes the direction and there we are chasing him again.
Also, I don't know if it's my browser problem (chrome) but I can't see the top of the screen, I didn't know there was a health bar until I saw the screenshots. And finally, it took me some time to realize I could just send a whole chain of cannonballs after the first hit
sodaboi.PNG
Cheers!
Nice game!
Pros: - Fun take on the theme - Nice mechanics
Cons: - Felt the progress was a bit slow, not giving much challenge as it progressed - Lack of motivation other than highscore
Obs: Not sure how to use the golden book
Cheers!
Nice game there!
Pros: - Fun mechanics (Trial of Piano! Thought it had a problem for me) - Enjoyable story, loved the shy guy!
Cons: - Controls felt very unresponsive. Jumps and attack would fail (that was specially annoying the in the piano trial, trying to jump in the correct notes), on the trial of speed I could do a very high jump if done sequentially in the ladder
Obs: Couldn't get the key in the trial of strength after the 1st shrinkage (don't know if it was because of the pick up button not working) but after the 2nd one I was able to get it
Cheers!
I pressed E but it would still be there. But you are right, flying up the ladder was indeed fun
Nice little game!
Pros: - Nice graphics (too bad there is no enemy sprite  ) - Fun and satisfying mechanic
Cons: - Damage felt kinda confusing, don't know if it's a bug in the health bar (it didn't start full and I could take more hits than I thought before I died)
Cheers!
Nice game~ I'm also into TD games and enjoyed my time :smile_cat:
Pros: - Senpai is now mine - Assets!
Cons: - Too easy - I also didn't know what the magnet was for
Obs: I guess if the towers weren't upgradable the there would be the problem of not enough space?
Cheers!
Welcome to Ludum Dare! Congrats on your entry!
Pros: - Forklifting in all it's glory! - Nice graphics - Spaaaace
Cons: - Kinda weird to control - Could have more challenges I guess? Other than the time limit - Music only in the main scree =/ Obs: I think the control felt weird because of some bugs (or I think they are bugs, they might be features :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: ) like, specially in the Death Star level, the speed of the car varied and the jet pack didn't work reliably, at first I couldn't even go up because I didn't I though the jet pack wasn't working.... Wait a moment, if there is no gravity in space, how come the forklift falls to the ground...? I have so many questions...
Cheers!
Nice entry!
Pros: - Simple but nice to play
Cons: - Items appearing feels a bit random, not enough reaction time for me, I just navigate randomly getting whatever it might appear
Obs: Am I boat in a toilet? Why there are coins in the toilet? I have so many questions... Also, for some reason when I try to play in Chrome the assets are not rendered, leaving me a black screen O_o
Cheers!
Nice idea but also a bit confused about the controls and the graphics. Also I still don't get the idea of the phone.
Welcome to LD! Nice game! Game play is fun and the assets are nice (though Saturn feels a bit weird compared to the other planets). Music is not great but it's fine for the purpose, it ___is___ a jam after all
As other mentioned, I would change the control a little bit, maybe as the click and drag. I also spammed a lot inside incoming planets so I didn't need to aim carefully, though at some point I did get destroyed (not sure how long I survived though)
Cheers!
Very nice game! Great assets and fun mechanics! Only a bit too hard for me  Also I don't see the point of having a laser, as it didn't seem to destroy anything, though it was cool to pass over them while speed boosting  The lack of sound is also truly sad
Cheers!
Great game! Really enjoyed the theme and the decision making~
Pros: - Nice mood and interface - Fun experience
Cons: - Not very clear on the resources (what is being produced, when/how space increases...) - Couldn't find nuggets...
Obs: I know I'm not suppose to consider what happens after day 30, but just curious why my buildings started to disappear and then a game over happened by day 35
Cheers!
Nice entry!
Pros: - Theme and mood were great - Cool art and sound - Mechanics were simple but enjoyable
Cons: - Difficulty progressed a bit weird - Just nitpicking, but the walking cycle was a bit odd for me, I guess because of the arm movement
Cheers!
Cool idea~ I love some cyberpunk~
Pros: - Nice idea/story - Cool style
Cons: - Got lost during first playthrough - Some memories seemed a bit dull, but then again, it ___is___ a jam, not a lot of time to develop a good story
Obs: A lot of commands were mentioned but not used, or did I do something wrong? Also just a little nitpicking, it felt a bit weird having the console writing two lines at the same time  but I suppose the loading time would be even longer.
Cheers!
Great entry! Very fun and the nice art style (being able to change the background is a plus  ) I just found the changing the color box a bit boring, but it might be personal preference
Cheers!
Welcome to Ludum dare! Great entry too! The best thing is definitely the mood! Just got stuck in the first deadend, I have no idea how to go through it
Great entry!
Pros: - Nice assets (adaptive music!) - Fun mechanics
Cons: - As people already said, it was tough avoiding the aliens. Specially by the end game, they are all stack close to you and near the points of interest, since I guess when you enter the shield they don't just go away randomly, but stay near where you were. Either nerfing them or giving more options to avoid the them would solve this, I reckon.
Cheers!
Nice entry! I will be just repeating what had already been said but...
Pros: - Great assets (the alarm was actually fine for me) and mood! - Control are very fluid (though I also think it's a bit weird to pick things up with the mouse)
Cons: - Repetitive mechanics (specially by the end where there is no trash coming down anymore but you still have to throw everything), maybe a survival mode?
Obs: Wasn't really sure what some of the object is (the blue thingies), so I just tried plastic and it worked  Also who was the architect of this place? Such a big area with no use, and conveyor belts so far from the trash... :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Cheers!
Welcome to LD! Hope you had a great time~ Fun take on the genre, keep up the good work! Cheers
Very funny game! Nice assets and simple but fun mechanics~ My critics are the same as of others, too quickly overwhelmed by burgers and no feedback on shots when too big (though I realized what was going on), so yeah, maybe nerf their life and spawn rate but maybe increase their attack? Also make the arena smaller? Just some thoughts :smiley_cat:
Cheers!
Nice typing game! Though I guess I don't have much to add, Iluvatar already had my points covered  and my score was also around 30 pages!
Cheers!
Nice game! I agree with Sidnoeae, I still tried to get a hang of the control but still just flew around aimlessly XD maybe if you didn't die buy getting on the edge? It was fun just trying to maneuver your self back to the control of the ship
Cheers!
Cute game! I tried to do a pacifist run after I wasn't able to survive much with the space getting limited but it's just too hard for me
Pros; - Art style and fitting music! - Fun Gameplay
Cons: - Felt a bit hard to control
Cheers
Welcome to Ludum dare! Congrats on your first entry~ I don't have much to add, I guess, but here it is
Pros: - Nice graphics - Fun at start
Cons: - Becomes repetitive - Some of the UI I still don't quite get it
One thing I thought it was weird is that when the level restarts the space left resets but the all boxes stays. Is that intended?
Cheers!
Nice game! Great assets (though the initial music creeps me out a little  ) and concept! Though I had some problems with the image of the object not really fitting the spaces it occupied (namely the neck pillow). Also the initial random items some times don't fit the bag. Other than that great entry!
Cheers!
Nice mechanics! It would've been really fun if it was a bit easier to perform tricky shots, like combos, or use the magnet towers well, or maybe I just suck at it XD also already stated, a bit more of sound effects would've been great and the physics felt a bit slippery. Great work!
Solid game, with great mood! Again, I'm also not very good with targeting with keyboard and mouse  Since navigation is already kinda difficult, could the rescuing be done only by touching the beacon? Maybe make it more narrow and some obstacle to get them? Seems like everyone was enjoying the targeting system, but just an idea I had~ Anyway great work!
@tiffi Sorry for that! Could you elaborate more on what was the difficulty felt?
@kmazzio Ikr? I wished I had time to make some tutorial or something, but I had only time to write down instructions  The enemy (Mad Dog) was programmed to be all random, so I guess you weren't very lucky with him attacking your Heavy Weapon all the time  I had planned 2 more enemies with different strategies (Sly Snake and Mighty Puma) and an upgrade system, but that's all I could manage with the time OTL I hope you had fun even so!
@tiffi @kmazzio @orangejuicepanda @babyking I've added some gifs to illustrate the instructions, if possible give them a look to see if it's easier to understand
@orangejuicepanda I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I am thinking about expanding this mechanic, thank you for the showing interest in it! :smile_cat: It was planned to be a tournament and you would fight 3 robots on total, but the greatest enemy of all, time...
@digitaldude555 Oh nice to know it's possible to get through it with trial and error  Well, about the theme, you use your own energy to perform attacks (I guess if you are not informed it's a bit hard to see it) and in between battles there was going to be a workshop to upgrade stuff using energy as well, buuuut....
@danield I am glad you enjoyed it :smile_cat: Music was made in a rush so I'm relieved it was good enough~
Thank you all for playing!
@fnkee Good strategy! Though it works on Mad Dog, maybe on future opponents it will be more difficult to pull it off  Megaman is one of the inspirations for sure~
@mooseandloon I'm glad the instructions were made clear, thank you for the feedback! :smile_cat:
@gentel Another inspiration is Chrono Trigger/FFVI and Child of Light, so definitely RPG on it's DNA  I agree, there is so much I need to convey, but little time to explore and implement all of them, also I do have ideas to make even more nuanced abilities, so we will see if I can actually manage all this in a post-jam version
Well, that was funny XD Like people said, aside some small bugs, it was a enjoyable run overall. In the minigame, there doesn't seem to have any punishment to press E outside the red square, so I just kept pressing non-stop, and the "Press F" text was a bit out of the window, so I only knew about it because I read the instructions before, not sure why this happened. Anyway great work!
Nice concept and implementation! Style also great~ I just felt a bit clucky and weird while doing a meele attack, and I wish there was a way to recover health... But hey, that's me! Great job anyway!
Great mood and style! Like many complaints before me, camera control was weird and it was very hard to identify and select the target, specially when he is selected but because of the highlight I can't make sure of the colors, so I need to deselect and select again. Great work!
I suppose I have the new build, I had lag when using triple shots, and still couldn't get many hits to register and most of times the money didn't register, only one time (which was when I was able to buy the upgrade). Other than that, feeling is good (though hard to control using keyboard) and concept is nice. Great job!
As already stated, mechanics get monotone quite quickly, and installing an unnamed game is not the best option for people's convenience, but other than that great job~
When I tried to run the Windows build there was the following error:
___________________________________________ ############################################################################################ FATAL ERROR in Vertex Shader compilation ShaderName: shd_Collectible
D3DXCompile failed - result
at gml_Script_DrawLimb ############################################################################################ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- stack frame is gml_Script_DrawLimb (line -1) gml_Object_o_Limb_Draw_0
Anyway, nice art and concept! As stated, a bit complicated to control (also got stuck on the merchant), and for some reason the game ran very slowly for me, but I could play it (maybe it became too easy because of that). Great job!
@robotsoulsgames Could be, I'm using very low spec right now, not even a GPU  I guess you could just add in the Help that X closes it (although I remember trying to press every button but nothing happening... Maybe I just messed something up :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: )
Awesome game! As already stated, super polished and great mood! I also liked the style and all the voice work~ Only minor complaints would be the drops sometimes getting on unreachable places, and the controls felt a bit stiff on attack and slippery on walking. The shadow of some things also made them look like floating. Great work!
Nice style! I liked the audio and graphics~ I had no idea for most of the quizzes ^^; and at some point the mini-games started to repeat, and apparently no end near, so I ended up stopping. Great work!
Great amount of content! A lot of possibilities of play~ Movement itself felt a bit weird for me, the headbob felt very strong, the jump didn't seem to do much and I think it wasn't possible to go diagonally? Aiming was a bit difficult for me also, I couldn't tell if it was the range or some other rule regarding accuracy. Great work!
Cute graphics and nice mood~ Didn't seem to have a end though, so stopped after some time. Also I was able to move to the flat and then to the basement, that was kinda weird XD Great job overall!
Fun game! I always like a good clicker XD only complaints I would have was already stated, such as taking some time to understand how to play it and someway more manageable to collect money. Humor very appreciated~ Nice work!
I don't have cardboard, so I guess I will have to stick with desktop  Nice mood! I just didn't understand how the energy was being drained from the boots, is it just time? Or missing an enemy? Does spotting enemies actually matter? Great job overall!
Solid game! Great style, mechanics somewhat simple but enjoyable, I enjoyed the difficulty ramp but I wish I could go to a date at least, but alas it was too expensive, just like real life XD Awesome work!
Nice concept! Simple but effective. Aside from the other criticism already said, I think the art (even though you downloaded from an external source) should be more consistent, especially during the platforming sequence I can see that the sprites don't match on style. Also I feel lack of a fail state, there is no consequence on dying when falling in a pit. Anyway great work!
Nice game! I like the hand drawn style and the mechanics works nicely (aside from the spring bug). Just not so difficult, I think I never got hit, except when I let them hit me to see what happens. Just some minor nitpicking, on my screen the UI got a little misplaced maybe due to the high density resolution, the last enemy was really hard to find and the boss had a huge hitbox, the blood particles would come out way too far from its body XD. Anyway great job!
On my screen the game zoomed in the center and wasn't able to see the UI properly, maybe because it is high density? Anyway, I was able to find out what everything meant through the screenshoot! Like @saering I had some difficulties to understand what everything meant, so I also just tried to keep low by crying and not making attention (after seeing that the other stuff hurt my survival rate). Other than that great mood and style!
Obs: The PC on the desk looks weirdly out of focus though
Awesome game! I liked the style, audio and graphics~ The puzzles were quite fun to solve, but I also thought the controls a bit difficult to handle at first, but later I got used to them. Great work!
Well, what can I say, it's Tetris! Only problems I have with it has already been said, like the music loop, the lack of hold and a bit touchy controls (or maybe I'm just not used to play it on keyboard anymore). Also really appreciate the leaderboard. Great work!
I found the maze quite difficult to navigate and the zombies too hard to avoid (even with almost max health I would die to them before running out of time) so I never got to the helicopter. I would put some hints to where to go or maybe make the zombies easier to kill. But mood was fine, great work!
Like everyone stated, it's a very good start! I like the mood and style, just need some mechanics and contents and you get yourself a nice game!
Like other people already said, it's a very cool concept, but didn't really felt it on gameplay. I even tried to keep track of which memories were associated with which box, but it became difficult after some time, and again, it felt it didn't really matter in the end. I also still had some issues trying to move the boxes, not sure why. Anyway great job!
