.rar?
Cyber-rat, love the name.
I want to be friends with that coffee cup. Seemed a bit buggy on the webplayer.
the menu was very nice, control choices were a bit odd - i'd like to play again w/ more polish
I rode a cheeseburger. I've never typed that sentence before. Music and graphic were good, really fun mood. No weapon was unfortunate.
EPIC VOICEOVER!
Funny theme! Cool retro feel.Bugged out a bit for me in firefox on what I'd consider the second level, I went back for a key and got stuck listening to the chiptunes.
too short! :) nice work - great game mechanic
Cool setting! I only managed to chomp a couple ships... but I saw the stars at the end! -T
I liked the simplicity of this game, and the turn based aspect of attacking. Super retro!
very difficult! unique theme use to boot -t
Cool art style. Loved the environment!
Welp, I'm gonna have nightmares tonight!
This was very well done. The narration really adds to the overall feel. Graphics are cool. I was a big fan of the "search" mechanic as well.
Is there a way to die at all?
i liked the main character design a lot! we used Dracula as our character also. Where was the audio sampled from? -t
Cool game! Movement and shooting are solid. The "pulling" mechanic after shooting out windows is really awesome. Great game for this challenge!
Neat stealth game! It's pretty tough, but I like the challenge. The AI seems to work well when distracting enemies. Music and sound would be a nice addition.
Sweet game! It's almost like a reverse Pac-Man, with you being the ghost instead.
The level customization adds TONS of replayability. Really cool stuff!
Really like the turn-based nature of the game. The XP and progression system adds a lot as well.
Great job!
Addicting gameplay! Water physics were really neat, and the attack mechanics were very responsive.
Also, I'm currently #37 in the world at this game, and that makes me feel pretty good.
The graphics and music were really good! It made for a spooky atmosphere. Story was nice as well.
Funny and enjoyable! I like the procedural nature of the music - adding to the song when different things happen.
The mechanic is well thought out, and works very well with this Jam's theme. Nice job!
Wow, what a great game! The dashing mechanic feels super satisfying, as do the rest of the abilities. The slowdown effect is really fantastic as well.
Great job with the music. It really adds to the overall mood.
Super fun!!
Solid game! A bit shorter than I would have liked, but it kept me engaged throughout. Funny too!
Good stuff here! The mood is set well by the music and lighting. The minimap looks really cool, and it's incredibly helpful to find your way back to the recharge station.
Fun game! Really enjoy creating a bunch of minions and then blowing them up to decimate my enemies.
Neat concept - could really go far with some polish.
Dark.
A nice way to blow off some steam.
Really enjoyed the music and camera effect.
Also liked the random "bullet tornadoes" that occur.
Enjoyed the art style. The overall feel of the game was fun. Peppers causing the firebreath was a nice touch! Wish there was a way to take out the planes.
The ending was a definite surprise, but I couldn't get my name to enter correctly in the paper.
Really great game! Well polished with simple mechanics. Audio and graphics are fantastic, and I enjoy the lighthearted feel of this game.
If this were released on iOS or Andriod I think it would be a hit!
Really cool stuff! I like that you can play the entire game without killing anybody. The morality counter adds a lot to this game, as does the ability to change form.
Nice work!
Cool idea. I really like being able to strategically plan where I'm going to attack. It would be cool if this idea were fleshed out more.
I wasn't exactly sure which attack I needed to use each time, but process of elimination makes it fairly easy to win.
nice style! took me a few tries to grasp game play, nice work
This is some serious 'choose your own adventure' stuff! Really like the story, and how you can alter it. Great writing!
Liked this a lot! I'm a big fan of RTS games, and this is a solid idea for one.
It was a bit hard at first, and I think a tutorial would be helpful for new players.
Great job!
Interesting game. I like the controller support.
i think the rainbow yay was my favorite part, or maybe the cat poop explosions... hmm... -t
Neat idea. It really reminds me of centipede. I wish there were more levels and maybe some different abilities.
Cute game. The multiplayer aspect keeps me coming back!
Good music and art as well!
Super hard, but rewarding! Really neat idea here.
I couldnt figure out the controls, the ice cream hand out didn't work... ?
Love your interpretation of the theme! 5 out of 5 on the cuteness meter. The roar is a cool mechanic. The use of 3D models in a 2D environment works well here.
Funny! This was rather enjoyable for a project as small as this.
The music does get a bit old after awhile, but I feel like the music fits with the art really well.
Great concept for sure. No end goal form what I have tried to accomplish, but everything worked great and love the scare aspect. -J
Tough game, but fun! I'm a fan of the retro graphics and audio.
Fantastic art style! Music is great too. Both really add to the overall mood of the game.
It took me little to get the controls down, and my fingers got tired pretty quickly. Other than that, great game!
Interesting take on a classic! Nice work getting this completed in only 10 hours. The writing is also really funny.
Thanks for sharing!
Loving the old school style!
A tutorial of some kind would be beneficial.
Fun and funny game! A bit tough at first, but once you get the hang of it the game really takes off. Great idea for this jam!
Enjoyed the multiplayer aspect of this game. Changing into different forms really makes this game.
Fun stuff!
Wow, thank you all so much for the feedback (both positive and negative)! It has been incredibly helpful, and we plan on making some major changes to our game design based on these comments. So keep 'em coming!
@ yokcos700: Thanks for reporting that bug! We'll be sure to squash it.
@Sunflower: Good call out on the unpredictable bullets. Going forward we are going to give bullets a timed shot interval instead of a random number generator. Crouch and Pause are locked because we didn't have time to implement them into the game. We thought it would be funny to just show them as "locked."
@BeardoGames: Dracula is best!
@Wefiends: Thanks for the feedback! We plan on spending a lot of time on difficulty and balancing.
@tGiant: Good point. Collision detection was something we struggled with. We'll be sure to work on it!
It means the world to us that you took time to play our little game. Thank you!
Absolutely brilliant! I have no idea how you were able to churn out this level of polish and quality for the jam, but you did! Hilarious game, great mechanics, awesome style, inspired weapons - really good!
Creepy! Enjoyed the art and animation. Solid controls as well. Would like to hear some different music eventually, and maybe some different enemies or powerups for the monster.
Neat game!
Interesting concept! Never have I had so much fun herding sheep.
A tutorial would be a nice addition.
Graphics and destructable environments were nice. A bit tough at first. Also, do clouds hurt you?
Physics are fun to play with. Would be neat if different types of enemies and abilities were implemented.
Really fun idea. I like the sim aspect of this game. Would be nice if there were more of a tutorial.
Super funny! Loved the voice acting. Music left some to be desired though.
An interesting take on a classic! Good work!
I felt like the graphics and music complimented one another quite well.
Shooting left was a bit difficult, so I mostly ran right while spamming the spacebar. That worked out pretty well for me, but after awhile it did lack a bit from some variation. More enemies, levels, and abilities would have been a nice touch.
Overall nice job!
The overall mood is really nice here. The stealth aspect is pretty cool, and I like that you don't have to kill to get past enemies.
I do wish you could attack while moving, but that's subjective.
Great job!
Shooting mechanics are solid. Enjoyed the end as well!
More enemy variety would be a nice addition.
This was really fun! Movement and shooting are solid. Music is good. I'm a big fan of the custom progression system as well.
Different environments for different levels would be a nice touch.
Really enjoyed the overall feel of this game. The dark corridors and single point of light added to the spooky mood of an evil science lab.
Restarting the game doesn't always seem to work properly.
Instructions on how to use different abilities would also be helpful.
Solid! I really enjoy how the game looks 'drawn' as you play it. I also like that the garden is in the shape of a smiley face.
The shooting mechanics are great, and I like the feel of the destructable environment.
Nice work!
Really enjoyed this game! Super addicting, and loads of fun!
The skill tree and progression system kept me playing way longer than I should have. Great work!!
Like the idea! Climbing walls was a pretty cool mechanic.
Fun and fast action! Love all picking up tons of souls all at once.
Would like to see more!
Addicting game. Love the abundant unlocks.
Super chill, super fun, super tentacilly.
Wow, nice work, really funny -T
The choice of art style in this game is refreshing and enjoyable. The fact that it was all drawn and imported using a scanner is amazing .Music and animations were good too.
I didn't really feel like the theme was accurately portrayed here, and I couldn't figure out how to get past the end. That could just be my lack of ability showing.
Good stuff!
Impressive stuff! Amazing that this was pulled off in 48 hours by one person.
Nicely done!
Cool 3D graphics! A tutorial would have been helpful. Was a bit unsure of what I was supposed to do.
Fun idea!
The style hearkens back to the original GTA, and that's a good thing. Neat ambient sounds as well.
Would like to have some kind of dodge or shield system in place for when you're getting shot while running straight at enemies.
Haha, enjoyed this. Very funny. The art may be a bit basic, but it's charming. A bit challenging at first, but it starts to make more sense after a couple playthroughs.
Cool concept and mechanic.
After about 1000 meters the difficulty gets pretty intense.
i tweeted my score, need to add that in our next jam, nice work! -t
Pretty fun game! I appreciate the generous use of medkits because the difficulty ramps up quite a bit once the military gets involved.
I think it would be cool if those that you "zombify" could turn into allies that help you kill off the others.
Nice job!
Graphics were killer! Wish the dragons came out to eat the birds, music was fitting also, great job for your first dare!
Cool game mechanics! Really liked how you have to pick up swords after throwing them. The music was also humorous.
I especially liked the "Bull Facts" about how these animals are mistreated.
Good work overall!
Solid gameplay! Graphics look great, and I love the 8-bit rendition of Thrift Shop. Everything works really well together.
Great job!
A lot of wit went into writing this, and it is appreciated! This is the first text based game I've played for the Jam, and it's also the first simulation type game I've played. It goes well with the theme too!
Good work!
Really neat concept. It's like a judge, jury, jail simulator. I think with a better user interface and some polish this game could go far.
Really enjoyed the style and humor here. I'm a fan of the tank controls as it makes it difficult to navigate the city. I think adding more objectives would definitely add to the fun.
-s
Best game I've played so far. I feel like you guys had a lot of fun making this, and it shows. Great work all around.
Short but sweet. Really funny! Would like to see this idea expanded.
This game is hilarious! Great job on randomization as well!
Really enjoyed this game! Graphics remind me of Warcraft I, which was really nostalgic.
I actually felt like a monster while playing. I especially liked isolating villagers before praying on them.
I'm a big fan of unlocking more characters as you go. The Vampire's ability is really helpful.
Controller support is a huge plus.
I just wish there was a way to see the current score in the main game screen.
Awesome stuff!
The sounds effects were funny! 85320 was the best I managed after a few plays, fun stuff! -T
Wave 41! really fun play thru, nicely done! some schmancy art and this would have been 5 stars -T
:)
Great work! 5's across the board!
After you get used to the controls it's pretty cool! I think a couple levels rather than the randoms would have been better, I collected a lot of gold though! Never found a boss. Nice work. Good fun!
The giant approaching sun is terrifying! Really sets the mood for the game.
Voice acting is great as well! Really enjoy the old-timey radio sound and the transatlantic accent!
Attacked a cult leader and was instantly massacred by 20 people with machetes. 10/10 would recommend!
----
Really enjoyed the world you created! Really cool game idea too. Once you get going you can really take over. Well done!
Hilarious! Lovin' the sound effects here. Movement is actually pretty cool. I also like how you have to crank the light for it to come back on.
Well done!
Uncle needs to install a sprinkler system. I liked the mix of 2d and 3d and the piano music the best! -T
I felt like is was on some kind of party ship headed to the club at the top of a beanstalk, nice work!
Cool mechanic! Good use of the theme. Music was excellent!
I thought the setting didn't really fit with the theme of the drunkenness. Maybe having him come home from a bar and having to avoid manholes, trashcans, and cars would be interesting. Maybe also some pickups to help you out, like fast food, or aspirin to help straighten you out.
I also thought the different arrows along the top was a bit confusing at first. I kept trying to click on those arrows to go in that direction, but then realized that the arrows cycle.
The game overall is very smooth. :-)
Cool art style and funny emails, nice work.
Cool concept!
A lot of fun! I had to play with two hands to get a better grasp for the controls. Nice art style too. Damn rats!
Really neat concept. Fun and unique gameplay!
I do wish I could see further so I'd have more time to react.
Also, I want to hear the rest of the song! You should keep it playing after you die.
I liked the puns! Cool card mechanics, kept forgetting I could give cards to the enemy.
Neat little game. Good job with sticking to the theme!
I'm a sucker for army and base-building games. I always enjoy them. This one is no exception.
I really like how you begin to expand your influence, and the game becomes more hectic.
Fun stuff!
Nice and calming! Very addicting. I felt like I was just getting started, and I had played for over 45 minutes!
Good stuff!
Cool concept! Good use of the theme.
I like the building mechanic, but holy hell it got tough quick!
Rank F+ 52% and my eyes hurt a little bit... WORTH IT -T
I really like the look of this game. Cute art style!
It took me a little bit of time to figure out exactly what to do - some instructions would be helpful.
A cool take on a beloved classic. The addition of enemies and enemies with guns really spices things up! At first it seems like a simple game, but it quickly reveals it is much more than that.
Great job!
Beautiful, very nice work!
Cool concept! I really like the idea of having to manage all your stats to survive. I could see this evolving into having to grow food properly, and find a fresh source of clean water.
The graphics look good, and the overall mood is great!
Challenging and fun! Nice work! The mechanic works great with the theme.
Solid idea and execution!
It would be nice if the game started easier, and the difficulty ramped up as the player progressed.
Great entry!
My favorite part was the character selection and different abilities.
For sure, nice gameplay, the music when CL meter goes down would pop into a musical part sometimes and smoothly transition.
ZM-JW
Funny animations, gameplay stopped after a while...
Hilarious voice acting!
Gameplay and vision are excellent here. Building up my forces and economy feels really good.
Would be neat if there was a way to add other defenses, like a moat or archer towers, but that probably would have been tough to add with the allotted time.
Great entry!
Cool game! I like the concept of managing money crops and upgrading the town. Once I got the pistol all bets were off.
Music and sound would really benefit this game, but I don't think it detracted too much from the overall experience.
Nice work!
Really funny, nice work!
Great use of the themes, nice work! A bit difficult starting out.
Solid game! I really enjoy the look of this. I almost feel like this was a game I played as a kid.
It is a bit difficult, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I like a good challenge.
I enjoyed the story at the beginning! Graphics were great also! Gravity seems like it needs some tuning, and maybe a starter weapon so you can use the second button earlier in the gmae.
This game physically hurts me. Love it!
It would be nice to have more of an objective, but torturing people by yanking their teeth out works well on its own too!
Great use of the theme! Enjoyed this quite a bit. This shows how much depth there can be with just two controls.
Really like the concept here. Graphics are fantastic!
I feel like this could be expanded into a full game where you have to match up an entire hotel/apartment building.
Nice mood and use of the two button control theme.
This game cracked me up! Funny stuff! I really like how the eyes follow the electric razor, and how hair can eventually start growing on his forehead.
Simple idea with awesome execution. Perfect for this jam!
The viral video spreading was super cool and great replayability overall, nice work!
Thanks for playing our game. You had me at "shoot dream light" - Great mood!
Thanks for trying our game out and the heads up! Sorry about the white squares, we've exported the same version but with an installer that should run better (give it another try hint hint). Otherwise, I'm team duck all the way! -t
Fantastic voice acting, really fun mood! -t
Utterly ridiculous and utterly fantastic story! Thanks for playing/rating our game, sorry it crashed on you. We've informed our crack team of bug fixers. -t
Thanks for playing our game! 6 out of 5 stars in the voice acting category! Rock Wins!
Nice job!
wow, I'm bad at this! big fan of the cat tube!
I've never played a game on an iPad on my Windows PC before!
Thanks for playing/rating our game!
Thanks for playing our game! What a weekend! Liked the clean art style and the exploration most. Though I searched way too long for the third "morph totem" ha.
Great game. Really smart mechanic and overall presentation. Really funny game, and it's a nice surprise being able to control the dungeon and not the hero. Nice work!
I AM A BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY
Cool game with a really creepy atmosphere! Really like how you used the theme, and the shifting castle works really well. Tripped me up more than a few times!
Unable to mount cookies. Kudos on the graphics though!
Really neat game! Shifting to keep up your speed was a little tough at first, but I quickly got the hang of it. Multiplayer racing game using with a shape-shifting theme: I like it!
Fun little battle game! The bats control really well, and dashing feels good. I like how the walls are destructible. Cool effects!
Tough, but fun! Funny mashup of genres.
whoa, that took an unexpected turn! -t
Haha, I'm terrible at this game! The animations were great, looks like shape shifting hurts! - T
Thanks for playing our game for a bit, too bad you got "bored really quick" - suggest playing another level with other animals/enemies/the boss. I got a 404 error when I tried to download your game, I'll try to comeback and play and rate later. -t
Thanks for playing our game! Sorry it was so laggy, we uploaded the version that comes with an installer that should help it run smoother if you wanna give it another go. This was the first game I play I was literally shifting something into shape, cool idea. Like virtual 2D playdoh! -t
Man, this game can be tough! Really cool mechanic, but I wish I had a little more time to see what was ahead of me.
Nice use of the theme!
Thanks for trying our game, we uploaded a version that should play now/better (includes the installer) - give it another go! I liked how funny your jam was. After the first fart sound effect, I had a feeling this was my kinda game. -t
I'M A GOOD ROBOT! thx
Thanks for playing our game! Epic countdown screen and timer. Was sad to see the cuddle-fish cry! -t
Transforming into the ship then going up & down or left & right was pretty cool, nice level design! -t
Really cool game! Sweet graphics. The fact that you literally play as paper that shifts into other useful objects is amazing. Great take on the theme!
Thanks for playing our game! I had to launch with Explorer to play in fullscreen mode (Firefox didn't like fullscreen mode?). Otherwise, very much a prototype, not a lot going on here... still, I "lost :(" plenty haha.
Smooth. Smooth jams, smooth graphics, smooth moves. If we had to sum this game up in one word... Groovy.
-S and T
the smith that gives you the axe, that animation is superb! all the char dev is good fun. the slingshot mech is wonky and I missed sounds. nice work overall! -T
LOL when you die in this game! -T
Wow those gowns and haircuts haha, what a mood! I wonder how much that job pays an hour? -Tweedle
I think the galactic pet really enjoyed my sweet and sensual caressing. -Tweedle
I like the sound when the text scrolls :) -Tweedle
Really enjoyed this game. Marble movement mechanics are great, and I like the increasing/decreasing light source. Attacking other sprites is also pretty satisfying.
Nice job!
101.8 was the best I could muster, fun stuff great art! -Tweedle
but what is under the bed?
I love that this game just shows an empty throne room, and then other things happen that you hear about. I'm into it! I really enjoyed building up my kingdom. Thanks!
wow I rock at this game, loved the art changing! also level 11 was a pain haha well done! -Tweedle
Really cool game! I did not expect the game to get very difficult based on the beginning stages, but it gets pretty intense as it goes. Good stuff!
Whoa, what a great feel! The art, music, and story have a 16-bit RPG vibe. I'm immediately transported back to my super NES days.
Great job!
This is FANTASTIC! Super ambitious idea, and it's insane that you got this much done for a jam. I love the idea of having a combat/tetris combo that you have to manage. I also really like the take on the original Tetris music. Graphics are solid, movement is solid, and everything just feels so smooth.
Great job!
Best game I've played tonight! Very well done! -Tweedle
Really cool idea! I like the overall vibe a lot, and it's neat how the story sort of builds itself as you go.
@cookie - yeah it is a bit difficult haha, but thanks!
@lando - you da real MVP
@clementXXX - it's our 7th actually ? but who's counting
@cushy - ya more like one workshop
Awesome game, super fun, and very engaging. I enjoyed watching my town grow and evolve, and once I started making money I couldn't stop! Nice job!
Cool concept! I like the idea of setting up defenses to help destroy the enemies. It would be neat if there were more fortifications you could place or upgrade.
Good stuff!
Super cool game. The overall mood is mysterious and dark, and it's all done very well! Great job!
Looks really great! Graphics are nice, and everything is very smooth. Zooming out gives a nice overall view of the level.
I did have some difficulty getting the blocks to move (sometimes they would, but other times I'd walk through them.)
Great work!
This is sweet. It's challenging, but fun to play. You really nailed the flying mechanics. It's a really neat way to control the ship.
This game feels really solid. The fact that there's a nice upgrade system in place is kind of mind-blowing for a jam. I really dig the particle effects, and the camera movement makes the game seem really intense at times.
Great job!
I found the colorful squishy ball but that was all! The audio and graphics were a coooool. - Tweedle
wow I gotta work on my shuffle game, I sucked at this haha - cool concept! -Tweedle
One of the best I've played and rated, really well done all around! My only complaint is I couldn't KEEP upgrading things - but it was just fun pouring coins over the masses for a few minutes  5 stars!
a unique take on the theme, well done. loved the heart shooting  the black clouds got me every time and I wanted a dash movement - otherwise, nice work!
2017-05-01_2049.png
sure i killed 900 people BUT I SAVED MILLIONS RIGHT?! RIGHT?!?!?!
lol, this was great work - loved the motion of the feet and the screen shake destrucion feel. well played sir! congrats!
I wanted some sweet ant ninja moves  after I figured out to stay on the right my ant* life got a lot easier haha, I think just a lil leeway on the foot hitboxes woulda been nice and some tunes in the background would have quickly kicked this up a notch. well done tho, congrats!
cheers ya'll we did it :beers:
@sheeptree  thanks for givin' it a whirl! yeah you can gain life, gotta smoke some enemies - you gain their HP
@avavt :kissing_heart: thanks for the feedback! happy you beat it! we were slightly worried it was too hard, we've had trouble balancing gameplay in previous jam builds. we knew how the enemies and towers/defenses worked... we figured players would like to figure it out by trial and error LOL
* Shroom 1 - Blocker / can't move, deals no damage, just buys you time on the cheap * Shroom 2 - Melee / moves, attacks enemies * Shroom 3 - Bomb / player can move, one shots enemies * Shroom 4 - Heat Seeking Rocket / seeks nearest enemy on screen, if off-screen it'll just blow up on player * Shroom 5 - Player re-spawn
* Anchovies run straight at your base, other enemies seek out nearest Shroom * Beware of Olives, they'll fuck your shit right up * Major use of Shroom 3 seems to be the easiest way to victory
Just uploaded a Jam+ build!
* fixed audio levels * added bar up top to help convey life gain/lose * fixed z levels * swapped cost of 4 & 5 shrooms * fixed rocket shroom exploding on player with no target * drank some beers and talked about father john misty * tried updating the game page with new links but the website is borked and we'll try again later
Rock-E did it for me! I thought there was something crawling on my monitor a couple times tho... Seems like a lot of fun was had making this. Well done! I wished I could get between the houses a bit faster, but the starry background made up for that mostly
theme and the art shined through! I hoped there'd be more out and about in the skies, after I got the hang out the controls I wanted more to do with them
lol what a great little game, i think a lil background music would have kicked this up another notch! real fun to play! super great and fun take on the theme, congrats & well done!
this is a lot of fun to play around with! maybe a few hover pop ups on the stuff on the sidebar w/ the effects it can have would keep me experimenting with different combinations longer.
first couple reactions i had, i liked how the sprites turned and placed towards the center and the music was pleasant! building my own small world is a perfect take on the theme also, well done!
loved the art style and the simple mechanics - very well done! noticed some of the above mentions bugs otherwise I'd like a bigger screen resolution
mood, graphics, & audio were all on point BUT the gameplay was severely lacking.
i left the house then reentered for a game over... then i checked out a couple ponds and saw a bird...
I could jump but... for why? haha!
loved the camera follow stuffs on the duder too, just wanted more of a game, ya know?
the voiceover stands out, nice work. also, those spiders LOL! ran into a lot of the same moving/physics problems in previous comments, I'd recommend working on a better movement feel next time around.
wow it's a hard knock hamster life! fun graphics, missing audio in my web player tho  - also fell through the ground of the cage a couple times on level 2. nice little stategy idea, great use of the theme! congrats!
loved the power ups, first thing that sticks out is no death ani on the baddies. they just pop into nothing, also when they run into the player they died real quick. then everything with seemingly the same physics seemed odd, BUT it's a toy world so... maybe that's just me haha.
great take on the theme, love the art concepts. the nerf gun bullets YES & ball bouncing mechanics were really nice. seems like a very solid team build here, congrats!
The story at the beginning set the mood very well, then suddenly a piano and... some birds started chirping and quacking and I'm running for my life haha! A flood of emotions! Getting the player movement physics more floaty (like I'm in space & lovin' it) then maybe some death animations on the baddies, guys are poppin' in and out and I'm not sure if my turrets are helping or not. Those are the first couple things that I think would help out a lot here. Also, wow, this is in Java next game minecraft 2?! I believe in you!
agree w/ other comments here on the controls. I really wanted to dive into this after watching the awesome trailer but found it hard to get my barrings initially. also, finding things that would help me grow at first seemed few and far between. great work getting the controller inputs and detection working, I tried with both! The mood, humor & theme were the highlights for me, and that great trailer
Wow, great stuff - cool webgame tho I was betrayed in the end. Still, I hope in Mr. Fishy 2- he gets to go to space w/ M. L. Fishypants and meet the Star Trek crew! Well done!
great work for a first team effort. found myself hawk-eyed in on the hammers and didn't end up looking around much in the jam version. Then in the postjam build I got greedy and died much more haha. I think a little piano screenshake on the hammer downs and a little animation/ opening scene would help set the mood straight out of the gate. great setting and take on the theme, congrats all!
wow I rock at this game :cookie::smile: lol the voice effects! do you think a cookie planet could really exist out in the great beyond? I hope so! It'd be scary if there were a bunch of red cookie monster heads floating around tho... enjoyed this! super easy, had to move on after ~5 mins but my cookie was HUGE and that was somewhat gratifying! well done, congrats!
wow this game unlocked a hidden chamber of my heart. I'm in love, pure magic :unicorn: what a story! I'm going to tell my grandkids about this game one day. thanks all! congrats!
one of the favorite things I've played! next time give me a web player version  5 stars!
wow I ate a loooot of cheese :cheese: & that's never a bad thing! a few more sounds woulda been mice... ... & a couple of different 'dissection' cutscene/end of level jokes might have kept me playing even longer. I wish I could sniff out cheese this efficiently irl. well done, congrats!
great graphics and mechanics, well done! couldn't survive past day 2 on the jam build, this game is brutal and I like it
haha, the credits at the end were a nice touch, a couple extra lives in the levels would have been awesome so I could rock it after I figured out what was going on. I defended the shit outta the* planet at the end tho!
tell me did I set the world record high score? ... 2017-05-01_2023.png
great work all around! the subtle scenery changes, WAS I STILL IN THE SAME BOWL?! well done jammers, congrats!
the music loop and the graphics stood out for me, the concept and gameplay mechanics were a lot all at once.
maybe weening me into the gameplay with less options to start out with would make me feel even warmer and fuzzier than I already am
great take on the theme, our team wanted to start out similarly, kinda a Spore but with mushrooms feel... but it just turned into a mushroom pizza game :pizza:
this is definitely the greenest game I've played so far! after I figured out I needed to use the arrow keys also, I was off and running. I'd suggest making it a bit easy - at least at first. also, the music loop comboed with the giant tutorial text started to make me a little crazy I think haha!
Nice work! I enjoyed this lots overall.
squashin' some build/score bugs :bug: atm, pay no attention to your replay score
great take on the theme! it seems you may have reached a bit too far for a jam build - some play testing and polish on a few core concepts would have helped this out a lot in my opinion. some of the tool tips and card dragging mechanics bugged out every now and again. but again, great idea!
very well done, my favorite I've played so far! my only criticism is the movement could use some tweaking/polish.
One of my favs so far, well done!
Hamsters in space?! I approve! Thanks for the web player - well done.
the music and art were my favorite part  ...tho the blank white background seemed a bit odd. a brief explanation of what the player is trying to avoid and contols would have been helpful also. nice job getting a web player version going!
great music and pixel art - seems you ran outta time, looking forward to future jams!
This is amazing, well done!
Hey, I made it out! The mood got a lot scarier after the lights shut off :) I also found a creepy poster lol - nice work!
Odd mechanic, looking forward to future jams!
nice concept! love the puzzle memory game aspects. the random trap generation needs a bit of tweaking and didn't have any sounds via web. overall nice, nice work!
I got mail WAY too often, but the humor was nice. Nice take on the theme also.
christmas theme jammers UNITE! that up button is touchy, but after i figured that out i was smashing gifts left and right - thank u for this holiday jam
@frederikja163 dang, if the web build is giving you trouble try our windows build  rock that space bar, spread the cheer haha
awesome seeing the video and the animation combined, most innovative submission I've seen since jamming. very impressed! ... with everything but the thumbnail above haha. I hope to visit the mother of all marmalade mountains one day!
love the betting concept - great w/ theme, didn't click how to strategize though. retro arcade tron feel was nice! well done
the audio and graphics shine, theme and animations seemed spot on also! well done!
Great entry, well done - the art and mood towards the end were awesome.
The theme doesn't click straight out but the concept and physics of things is fun right away- grabbin' the arms/legs gets a lil weird at times and the kid voiceover/sounds took a sec to get used to... never thought I'd puzzle rock climb this jam, nice work.
Christmas jammers UNITE! :santa: Well done, seemed like it got harder gradually which was cool - the broken horse was funny, many ho ho hos. Wish my end score displayed on the end screen though! Congrats
Wow that got trippy real quick! We made a santa/sleigh game also, 5 STAR IDEA  So many broken bottles... well done!
fellow christmas theme jammers :highfive: - really enjoyed this, the music was especially great!
Felt great all around, a little background music was all you were missing  awesome entry!
nice work! looking forward to future jams
Dragon Fuzz FTW - great job!
I rocked the space bar to victory but you can do the same in our jam.... so kudos :) fun stuff, great take on the theme and getting music and polish was the cherry on top, well done! next go I'd keep doing what you're doing and spend a few more hours on art/ graphics - cheers
:older_woman: :smile_cat: :poop: these cats poop A LOT but my party is hoppin' well done!
best I've played so far, great concept - great background sounds! challenging and clever, congrats!
5 stars, great message, poor choice of font ;)
great idea, really enjoyed this - the added victory/cutscene was awesome!
my only suggestion is to turn down the scream sound haha  otherwise fantastic job!
I liked the simple controls and the player art when he blows up. My player disappeared on my third go at it, after I hit the roof... HARD MODE :no_entry_sign: :tangerine:
:lamp:  those guys should slow down, they're transporting priceless lava lamps! the sound keeps playing everytime they run over my dead body haha - nice art!
christmas theme jammers UNITE! well done, innovative and great fun! a little background music or sleigh bells would have tipped the scales further :)
really rocked the theme, controls felt wonky but I was dodging dragons like a boss so maybe they're genius. WELL DONE! get yourself an artist next go around!
crap, I die a virgin yet my mom is proud of me... damn that cactus.
have no clue what's going on, but the art is top notch  i think for a jam, and especiialy how ld judging works - gameplay has to click straight outta the gate if you don't spell in out in the description. you could have some awesome stuff buried behind that no one gets a chance to find out about - looking forward to future stuff!
we've scooped most junky bugs out of the main scene now so you should be ready to rocket shit overboard no problemo π©
art, mood, & mechanics stood out, nice work!
really nice across the board! need some kinda pirate treasure fairy dumping the money from the sky or something... pirate treasure fairies are a thing right?
Really impressed with this entry, well done!
great controls, rocks the theme and the music fits perfectly! πππ
the most fun i've ever had in a box of glue
ate a loooot of food in my playthrus and dealt with many issues ββββ good work!π
awesome work, waddle on buds!π¦
very difficult, mood wins out here for me - dang bushes, would be cool if they were destroyed after they hurt the player
tis the season for giving! great game, much fun πΆ *barks uncontrollably*
enjoyed this lots, everything about it! β
dug the color palette and gamplay! π€
loved the ending, no complaints - great work!π
missing not having a tune in the background - liked the art and humor loads, nice work π₯π₯π₯
what a glorious skillset, this alpaca can do it all! nice work! π¨π¨π¨
enjoyed the art style and mechanics! didn't figure out why i should jump around but it was fun bouncin' anyway π

fantastic art style!
art direction and humor top my list here, well done!
like the mechanics of the storytelling and the art lots, well done!
Cool mechanic and way to choose your own adventure!πππ
next level level design π well done!
πππ I'm here for eyeballs on food
great minds think alike! we made a necromancy cat game also haha
loved the dark humor and the scooping mechanic, the nice color palette also!
thanks for the twitch streaming! good work here for recently learning the engine
great story and unlocking mechanics! well done
enjoyed this, i like the turnbased and simple card system. also, the rotatable terrain and story elements were great!
The map at the end ties it all together well, cool concept!
Cool mechanics and funny, nice work.
nailed the mood and dark artstyle, one of the more unique jams i've played so far - keep up the nice work!
nice take on the theme. very difficult to continue once the phone losses charge tho, especially entering a new room you've never seen by randomly cliking around a black screen. if it's more of a single path thru puzzle, like another has mentioned - a quicker game over or restart would be appriciated. i enjoyed ducking under a table (tho not sure why i was hiding) and was suprised how many menu options there were. too bad the hud was bugged on export, lemme know if ya'll continue dev on it.
Loved the story and humor, great job to all!
was clicking n smoochin like a madman at the end and clicked thru my big moment with Neil RIP my heart, one of my favorite games so far! nice job to all!
Music and controls were the standouts for me, nice work!
lol that animation when you click on the computer to work. liked that i got to play my own tunes when singing to the plants.
liked the setting and the player ears flopping trying to fly lol, nice work!
i like the hold down key mechanics and the cam movements, very nice - congrats all!
the controls seem a bit borked and no sound for me either on the web version, very cool concept
knocked it outta the park, great job all around - bonus points for sloths
fantastic job, nice touch with some bonus story elements at the end
big fan of the yodeling haha, nice work! π
difficult starting out but very clever mechanic with the lasso π
one of my favs so far, really enjoyed the design and mechanics - kudos for bosses and multiple levels
great take on the theme, well done
enjoyed the design lots, nice work! bonus points for voice acting π
i'd buy this pumpkin hat! enjoyed the ghosted death tally mechanic and story elements - very nice!
super trippy and a never ending falling ping pong sound 10 outta 10, nice job!
impressive work all around, loved the villian and the use of color and fisheye/video effects
the curved world was a nice touch! bonus points for including a funny victory dance
liked the diverse obstacles and design, some parallax w/ the background would help things pop. nice work!
@pxldev that scene was cobbled together last second in a whirlwind. we assumed most folks wouldn't reach the end with a full pizza/full health. time allowing, we'd hoped to have more funny sayings and win scenarios
@rewzu we noticed that early on in playtesting so we bob rossed the walls and platforms with yellow cheese sticky edges... transforming the bug in a feature like a beautiful butterfly
thanks for playing and rating π»
crabs are people!π¦
enjoyed the boss level! nice job π«
really enjoyed everything about this, fantastic work in such a short amount of time. all the extra polish really paid off. congrats!
congrats on your first jam! solid humor and nice take on the theme but like some others have said, wish I started off a bit quicker
great idea and implementation, nice work! π§ββοΈ
cool idea and great art! THE BASS IN MY SUBWOOFER WOWOW π
Thanks for playing & rating!
@MacDoom yeah, we would have liked to add in more categories had time permitted, alas... it was a fickle pickle that bounced to stay legal in connecticut π₯
@blobo pro tip - check the border color of the billboards π
@Lost-Dutchman-Software I am here for this C O M M E N T π
fantastic art and the high score feature addition was super cool! nice work!
giphy-downsized.gif oops, double comment ftw!
the two different art styles were killer! very funny, nice work! :sunglasses:
funny and solid all around, well done! :moneybag:
took me a moment to realize i needed to use my mouse to select my towers - wish there were more level layouts to try and i never figured out if the aura tower did anything haha. theme and art top my list here nice work!
those eyebrows will haunt my dreams! we made a trivia game too - GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE! nice work, super funny!ππ
enjoyed this one, good thing for the boundaries top and bottom! made it to the rocket on my 2nd try π¨βππ
like the perspective from on top of the castle walls!
great art and mood!
art wins out :smile:unfortunately, neither the carrot nor the sunflower we happy with my puzzle skills haha - swap that score font out with something more fitting/pixel and get eveything you want added and I'd love to try it out again!
simple yet challenging - nice work indeed!
ya'll killed it, congrats! πππππ
2018-04-28_1426.png OH YEAHHHH! The bongo solo was a lil lackluster tho  NICE WORK! lots of fun
i was a proud gnome papa of 11 plant babies, happy as could be - then doggo got ahold of me... next time i'll grow more bushes... also the dirt smiles at you, this game has it all
great idea and take on the theme, and fun boosting my car off the ramp regardless of missing the target half the time haha, nice work! :sunglasses:
the tale of tweedle has come to an end... BRILLIANT! :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:
NBA JAM! π a fellow trivia game, nice! i need to brush up on my video game trivia haha CURSE YOU BLACK KNIGHT!
the world needs more hockey games & banana games, wish there was a single player version - I'm easily winning every game :smirk:
wow this was fantastic! one of the best I've played so far! βββββ
we rocked the same style for our jam GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE! :sunglasses:
i really enjoyed this, replayed it even! art and mechanics shined - wish the coins were bigger and easier to pick up  WELL DONE
controls took some getting used to. otherwise, this game is fantastic - congrats!
two player games are always hard to rate (rating alone) - enjoyed the art and humor!
enjoyed the art here and the nice heavenly music  rock some parallax on the foreground/background stuff scrolling along at different speeds as you walk for added depth effect
i like how whacky it is! liked the pixel styling but i don't think i'll ever get used to these controls haha
great take on the theme! dang charmanders behind every door hithithithihtihihith
