Love your interpretation of the theme! 5 out of 5 on the cuteness meter. The roar is a cool mechanic. The use of 3D models in a 2D environment works well here.

+ weird but unique graphics, gameplay, level design, they kiss you, mood,
- maybe sound
Of all the entries I've played, certainly the most mechanically solid
This is one of the best games I've played in this jam, good balance in all aspects.
Nice way to lose.
I like the character and the graphics.
An other Lvl layout on 2 Wave would be nice.
The only issue I had was that I couldnt' figure out how to get the game to close. ESC didn't work and you insisted on full screen, which I normally hate. But, I loved the game otherwise.
Velvelajade: We did not include a quit button, sorry about that.
The game however does respond to the standard Alt-Enter key for toggling between full-screen and windowed, and it also responds to the standard Alt-F4 key for quitting an application. I do wish we'd added a "quit" from the title screen, and also from a Pause Menu.
Thanks very much for your feedback!
You guys did a really good job with this! The art and the music are both very solid, and the sound effects were great (though I did feel bad for making people cry)! The physics are spot on, too; the monster was very easy to control.
Made it to wave 2, couldn't get further. ^^"
The yay:
- general mood
- cutesy overload
- good and varied animation
The nay:
- second level has same layout as the first one
- background and elements graphics kinda contrasted with each other
- the girls are so pale that I initially mistook eyeballs for shut eyelids ^^"
Pretty solid overall.
Very cute game, I loved the graphics and the controls were very nice. Were the girls asleep? I couldn't quite tell but overall very good 3D models :)
Very enjoyable gameplay, and the monster motion was very fluid. Loved the "cute" graphics and especially the game over. Music was great and bonus points because I owned a teddy bear when I was young that had a music box that played the same song.
Fun game. Like a mix of pacman and some platformer. I wish the game was more challenging though. I had a relatively easy time just scaring them if there was even an issue but most of the time I was super far away from the "enemies". However, overall good game!
Very fun and cute game! The controls feel really nice.
This is adorable with about a thousand on the cuteness meter, to be totally honest. Great work.
LOVED IT! It was super adorable, loved how highly saturated the colors were. Loved all the models and how fuzzy the monster was. I almost cried out in glee when I found out that you get kissed when you get trapped by one of the humans. Great arcade feel. This game made me soooo happy! Thank you so much for making this game!
Not bad! A little disappointing that each wave was the same, but otherwise it was fun. :)
Really cool to hear you made this with your whole family. Not only that but it's a pretty cool game! It's also really adorable! Great job to everyone in the family :D
