The only issue I had was that I couldnt' figure out how to get the game to close. ESC didn't work and you insisted on full screen, which I normally hate. But, I loved the game otherwise.
The wolf turns into a person sometimes, which I thought was way cool. Overall, it definitely needed more work. I wasn't sure what button to use to kill. And, I couldn't figure out how I had lost, as I couldn't seem to do anything. However, I LOVED the wolf! And, I did appreciate the concept. Thanks for submitting this game.
Loved it! It reminded me of days of old, and expected to see an original Cycle from the 1800's with that music. ;)
I would change your " -" to "Spacebar" as I was pushing the hyphen key. Obviously, I figured it out. And Thanks for allowing me to do "windowed", as that works best for me.
I love that the graphics reminds me of legos. I thought it was unique that the firing of the ball came from back of the head. Very good explosion pictures.
Thanks! If I could program using JS or C# I would. The person behind VX Ace is from Japan. He forgot all about the "or" command, thus my sokoban game had to be creative in scoring in order to avoid the "21!" issue (because I can't program in Ruby either).
My issue is that using VX Ace, the screen size is limited. If I allow full screen, it still doesn't change much as far as how much of the puzzle shows up on the screen. The theme....the one I made with the theme, I hated, so I submitted the other game I made instead. I made two games in the Jam period.
The controls are built in by Ace. Arrow keys are your friend. Sorry about that, but I can't change that as I can't program in RGSS yet.
File Size - I have a lot of animation which makes the file size larger. Also, one of the pictures that I cut up, used an actual picture I took which didn't help any, as I made the fountain out of that picture. I faked the animation, which just made the size jump up. I plan on using a little less animation in my future games.
Graphics: I will not be trying to make a Samurai sudoku puzzle using those graphics again. I'm trying to come up with something more intuitive.
Puzzlers - I prefer my Ice challenges and Sokoban challenges the best. My fave sudoku variations really do not work very well in VX Ace I would have to agree with. I'll see if I can come up with some sort of solution for future games.
Thanks for the comments! :)
