It's stressful to be a monster all day long. :-)
I really liked your game. It's simple but solid. Everything works great, from the art and sound FX to the gameplay.
Great job!

It's stressful to be a monster all day long. :-)
I really liked your game. It's simple but solid. Everything works great, from the art and sound FX to the gameplay.
Great job!
Nice entry!
It's really hard to make a platformer but you did well. You should work more on gravity and collisions. And there's a little bug when firing from the right to the left, we can't see the projectile.
Otherwise, that's great work here! Congrats!
I really liked it! I think it's original, well made and fun to play. I was just disappointed by the lack of music and sound effects.
And sometimes the movements of the hero were glitching, like jumping to a floor or in the middle of a corridor. I had trouble figuring out how to make him go through more rooms. And I realised too late that the nice labyrinth I made for the last room just had its exit next to its entrance :-(
But despite all that, I had a great time. In fact, I'll go play again right now. :-)
Great, great job! Thank you!
I'm a fan of puzzle games and I really enjoyed this one :-)
It took me a while to figure out the strategies to finish each level but I managed to. The overall concept is great and could lead to interesting stuff. I'd like to play more levels!
I really enjoyed the dialogs as well, they made me laugh.
The only thing I regret is the lack of music and sound effects, I think it would add a lot to the mood.
And I'd like to have a "restart level" button somewhere, I got stuck several times.
Anyway, amazing job! Thanks for the game!
Really good game!
I loved the graphics, the music and the overall idea.
It's well realized and quite fun to play.
At first, I couldn't control the power of the attack, but if I play long enough, I may become good at it :-)
The idea is simple but I think there's depth in this game.
And for just two guys, you did a wonderful job! Congrats!
Really good game but really hard! I managed to win once but I had to be really quick and lucky.
The sound design and art are neat and bring a nice tense atmosphere.
Thank you for this submission.
I'd love to see it a little more polished. With smooth camera moves and animated ships :-)
Great job!
I don't realize the amount of work needed for making this but good job trying to make a MMORPG in 3 days :-)
I couldn't find anyone to play with and the offline world is quite empty, so I didn't really have fun. I guess it was more of a personnal challenge for you?
I'd like to see it with more content!
Really good game here!
The mood is perfect, I really had the sensations to be a monster chased by villagers thanks to great graphics and awesome sound design. The mechanics fit well, even if they are simple.
I think it's a great idea that fits the theme perfectly.
Great job!
Pretty funny one :-) I liked the graphics and animations.
I think there are too many houses, I kept crashing on them all the time. It might be funnier with a lot of empty space to gain speed and send pedestrians to space!
Anyway, great work!
Great entry! You managed to make a quite enjoyable game all by yourself, and it was your first jam. That's impressive!
I think the difficulty is well balanced, except for the gold earning part. I had way too much gold in the end. I'd like to have the options to buy more space or to unlock new characters with all that gold :-)
Overall, I think you have a solid base to make a great game. I wish to see more levels and more content soon!
Great job!
The gameplay is interesting but maybe a little limited. With more different enemies or items it would be great.
I had some collision bugs but despite that the game is enjoyable.
I really liked the graphics and music!
Great work!
The art and audio are nice but the gameplay could use some more polish. I simply spammed the attack button until I won, as the other options didn't really seem useful.
I was thinking "rock, paper, scissor" at first but didn't see how dodging or shielding could help me win the fight.
I liked the dialogs and the overall dev seems quite solid (smooth and no bugs).
Great job! I'd like to see it after some more work put on balancing the gameplay :-)
Nice one. A little too simple maybe (but that's expected in 10 hours of dev).
I'd like to hear some music and sound effects. It always adds a lot to a game.
Good job overall
I really like puzzle games like this one!
However, while I was expecting much after the tutorial, I was disappointed by the puzzle mode. It was too complexe, I couldn't figure out a strategy to beat it. Each cell was changing figure after I clicked on it. I was clicking randomly with the only hope to not be stuck during my next moves.
It's a shame because this idea could lead to challenging (and beatable) puzzles.
I really liked the minimalistic art and the music was a good choice to set a relaxing mood.
Great work! I'd like to play more of it. :-)
I really loved this game!
The idea is great and beautifully realized.
It took me some time to realize what were the Repair Bots and how to get them.
It took me some more time to realize that I would be more efficient with my headphones on.
The musics fits well and creates a relaxing atmosphere.
I really enjoyed it and I would like to see more of this in the future!
Great job!
I couldn't figure out what to do, but it seems like a good start. Keep working and come back with awesome games :-)
Great game!
Voice acting is good, graphics are good, the overall concept works well. I had a good time.
But is there a victory condition? I think I killed all the "greenies" but I didn't get anything...
Really nice work on graphics and music. The gameplay is working but it could use a little more polish to be really enjoyable.
I found it quite hard as everything is moving so fast. I didn't understand when I was hit or what was the cooldowns on my attacks.
The intro scene is really nice, and the overall mood is great. I think there's potential for a really fun game :-)
Great job guys!
I really liked this game!
The concept is solid and working well. I especially liked the music.
Lots and lots of content! I'm impressed that you managed to write all this in such a short time.
To fit the theme a little more, you should make the "bad choices" good for popularity. I felt like every immoral decision had bad consequences, so I had no interest to become a monster.
I think the game needs more balancing as I earned more than 40'000$ the second day and managed to buy all the upgrades at once. On top of that, I managed to have more employees than the "max". In the end, adding one more employee would cost 2 millions (a little too much maybe?).
Anyway, that's great enjoyable work here! Good job!
Quite good game overall. Good job on the procedural level design!
It may lacks background music and screams of people I eat :-)
And I didn't understand the life mechanism. Some houses hurt me, some don't... I lost without understanding why.
Otherwise, great job!
Really great game!
I love the art and music! It's amazing what you managed to do in such a short time. The gameplay is simple but well balanced (I think) and fun.
I had trouble figuring out how many knights actually remained, during the final wave I had two different messages "only one knight left" from the guard and "44 knights left" at the top of the screen. Maybe it was 44 guards left?
Anyway, that's a really great entry! Good job guys!
Really simple but it's working great!
Graphics and sounds are minimalistic but I found the gameplay quite good. Lots of games are hard to play because their difficulty is not balanced. I think your game is well balanced and actually enjoyable.
I'd like to see it with more polished art and music.
Great job!
Great game!
I enjoyed throwing random stuff on soldiers. The gameplay is simple but works great. Nice job adding several attacks with different pros and cons.
Graphics, music and sound effects are good as well.
Great job!
Nice game. I found it quite hard as only one barrel is enough to kill me and it is hard to avoid it.
But overall this is fun :-) I'd like to see a web version.
Great job!
Not so bad for an 8 hours work!
I think the camera works well, and it's not easy to do in a 3D third person view.
I liked the overall game, it was challenging but not too hard. I managed to finish it and put my score on the board :-)
The music is wisely chosen, it sets a funny and enjoyable mood.
Maybe with more work on the backstory the theme would be more obvious.
Overall, great job!
Really good game!
Graphics are nicely done and polished. Music is great. Camera effects are neat.
The concept is really simple but the final level was more interesting than I thought, with some buildings actually blocking my way.
I'd like to see more of that!
And for a single developer, great job!
An interesting and original idea.
I'm not so much into data visualization but I think bringing this to the jam is amazing and surprising.
5* for innovation :-)
I wonder if it would be possible to add a background music or some other stuff to spice things up.
Great game!
I loved the idea and the realisation is really good. I liked the graphics, music, sound effects, and the gameplay is quite enjoyable too (maybe a little bit repetitive).
Great job overall!
Too bad the game is so short! I'd like to see more.
I enjoyed the game. The mechanics are simple but they work well. The difficulty is challenging and the level design is interesting.
There's still a bug with AI getting crazy sometimes. They glitch very quickly and look in every direction at once, making them impossible to sneak on.
Otherwise that's a cool game. Great job!
The game crashed at level 3 I think, I couldn't finish it.
I liked the ever-descending level design and the narration.
The gameplay is simple but maybe the controls should not use R as the hit button, as it is difficult to move and hit at the same time.
I think a background music could improve the overall experience.
Otherwise, great job!
Really polished and satisfying. Good job for the art, sound design and camera shaking. That makes a fun and enjoyable mood :-)
It reminds me of Risk of Rain a little for the visuals and the hordes of enemies.
I couldn't try the multiplayer mode.
Great job overall! I'd like more maps now please ;-)
I remember my first jam after learning about Unity...
I wish I made something this good!
Great work man!
Really cute game! The graphics are nicely done and the gameplay is simple and accessible.
The game seems too simple at first. I just had to run in a wide circle to get all the citizens while avoiding all the bullets. But then it gets harder and I had to change my strategy.
Overall I'd say it's a great game! Congrats!
Nice little fighting game :-)
Great work on camera and animations.
I couldn't hear any sound, is that expected? (you left the audio to rate so I guess I missed something).
The AI is also great.
Good job!
Really really hard game! The bull is moving too fast I think, but maybe it's intended. I was a little frustrated by the experience.
Anyway, the idea is quite nice, I enjoyed the game overall and the music in particular.
Good job!
Didn't feel like the bombs sync with the music. Also why could I click at anytime (even without bombs) and get away with it (no malus) ?
The music was great and the game works well. I enjoyed it!
Great job!
Simple but it's fun and works well!
I really wasn't expecting that. After going through the intro texts, the game changed all of a sudden and I was laughing.
I think the long intro is part of the experience, it sets a mood only to break it. And it's skippable for the next games. It's perfect :-)
Great job!
Interesting mechanics! And the mood is quite there thanks to really good graphics and sound!
However I was stuck in certain spots, making it impossible to go on through the game.
I'd like to see more of it. Great job!
I think more explanations would be useful. I didn't understand what to do in my second form. I kept wandering around...
I would like to zoom/unzoom with the camera, and to look a little further as well. But third person cameras are difficult to implement. Maybe the game would be great as well with a first person camera?
Otherwise the art and music are good!
Overall I think there's something. A little more work and polish could make a nice game. Great job!
Thank you all for your comments! It means a lot to me.
I'm quite happy with the result.
I was already curious about multi-agent systems and I wanted to test it. I got the idea for the Boomies not so long after learning what the theme was.
I wrote the off voice the last day, but I thought about it early during the dev. I think it adds a lot to the game.
I wasn't sure I would have time to translate everything but I did it to allow my friends and family to play. :-)
I think it lacks music and sound effects (explosions, screams) for it to be enjoyable.
And the goal of the game isn't quite clear. I just had the screen "bad monster" at the end.
Otherwise the graphics are really good.
Great game, as usual :-)
Congratulations!
Excellent game! I finished it and I enjoyed it!
The only thing I regret was the absence of background music.
Congratulations for making this!
The mechanic is really interesting! But maybe the controls need a little more work, I found them frustrating. I didn't manage to finish the game.
Anyway, the game is great :-)
Congratulations!
I like this game. The mechanics are working well with the theme. It surprised me several times during playthrough, which is great!
I would like to hear some more sound though.
I managed to go back all the way to the beginning with the ability to reverse gravity. I expected another ending :-)
Congratulations for making this game!
Great game and a lot of content!
A background music would have been nice.
Congratulations for making this!
My highscore is 52!
I like how you managed the difficulty curve. The game becomes harder as we get the blue things, but they are hard to avoid.
I would have thought of a more rythmic music for this game, but it is overall really good.
Congratulations!
Nice graphics and music. The gameplay is interesting. The web version is quite slow on my machine.
Great work!
Good idea! Too bad the music doesn't influence the patterns of the bars.
Nice art!
It felt a little odd at first because of lack of feedback. I didn't understand why I lost at first, then I noticed the timer during my next play!
I managed to rescue Horia, but it wasn't easy :-)
Congratulations!
I finished the game. It was quite fun :-)
I would like to have some background music while playing, and some more details on events (after the 3rd one, they were all similar and I suppose randomly generated).
Great idea and great job overall!
Beautifully written. I really enjoyed it!
I can't even think on how to improve the experience. I think it's perfect as it is. Maybe some background music would be nice?
Great job!
I like the idea and the realization is polished and well made. I get how the game can be enjoyed, but I personally found it a bit aggressive. It might be the music, or SFX, or overall pace of the game. I don't know.
Anyway, that's great work here, Congrats!
I rated you quite well, even if it's not the type of games I enjoy :-)
Very beautiful and entertaining! I like the theme, art and music.
A quite fun game to play with sisters or brothers :-)
Congratulations!
Thank you all for your feedback! This is greatly appreciated :-)
I made an attempt at WebGL export. I hope it'll work.
Merry Christmas!
Nice graphics and sound effects. I didn't get the goal at first so I tried to go as far as possible. I didn't see the supernova explosion from the left before my second try.
The game is hard overall, but quite enjoyable too!
Congratulations!
The Music is great! It's like the music is rewarding enough to continue playing :-)
The overall game is simple but works fine. I expected a twist after some time playing.
Congratulations on making this game!
I broke the game by buying at 0 and selling at max value on the following day.
Other than that, the idea is great and I really liked the music.
Great job!
Great puzzle game! Game mechanics are simple yet interesting. Levels feel unique and well-designed. I think it only lacks music and maybe better graphics. Other than that, it has everything to be a good game! Congratulations for making it :-)
I absolutely love the art style and music! The gameplay is interesting too with a good grip on the theme. There are lots of different mechanics but too few levels to discover them fully. I would have loved more levels!
Nice game but quite hard! I like the graphics and audio. Good job!
I'm in love with this game! That's exactly the kind of puzzles I love: simple rules but each level brings a new and more difficult situation with an original way to solve it. On top of that, the graphics are very clear and funny.
For me, the only ingredients that are missing are sound effects and music.
5 stars anyway ;-)
Congratulations on making this game in such a short amount of time! Did you get the idea from the very start of the jam?
Awesome game! Congratulations guys!
I would have like a button to reset the level. Sometimes the win is compromised from the very start.
Nice little game! I laughed because of the idea and execution. Little people look like ragdolls and I like the way invaders die. Great choice of title as well :-)
I like the gameplay and mechanics, even if I feel like it could be improved in some ways. I felt a bit frustrated by controls (maybe they're too stiff?). But the concept fits the theme. Levels are entertaining and I feel like the choice of mechanics to sacrifice is really meaningful.
It reminds me of Escape Goat for the mood.
Really short but lovely implementation of the theme! I enjoyed the game very much. Graphics and music are the best :-)
Thank you for making this game!
Génial! J'adore le concept et la réalisation est parfaite! J'aime particulièrement la musique :-) Bien joué!
Cool game with a nice Papers please vibe. Great job!
@maximus-g @loligxp @thegamedev @abroadgames @darylsteak @fnissalot @julian-creutz @berkin @vinzbad @foolmoron @querk @dunin @oxrock @sevkron @zanagi @toast-toaster @saucygames @saltyleung @oriondark7 @shieldgenerator7 **Thank you guys for playing my game, and for all your kind comments!**
After seeing some of your scores, I think that maybe my game was too easy. Or maybe your are just very talented :-)
Especially @minibobbo : you managed to get a perfect score on your game, prepare food, go for a run AND take a shower? Man, I wish I was that efficient during the real jam...
I was already familiar with Unity and programming, but it was my very first experience making pixel art and composing music and SFX during the jam. I usually go with some free stuff I find on the Internet.
For those of you who find the music annoying or repetitive : did you know you can click on the little radio ? radio.jpg
@marc-grabow : I was sure I wouldn't be the only one to have that idea! Maybe there's even another similar game that has actually been submitted!
@ragnta : the HP gauge just goes down with working time. If you have more than 60% of your HPMax, you are okay and can work efficiently, if you have between 30% and 60%, you are tired and work slower, if you have less than 30%, you are exhausted and work even slower (also more useless tasks begin to appear in your todolist). You can't die of exhaustion even if you reach 0HP.
Sleeping refills HP with time, the more consecutive sleep you get, the fastest you gain HP.
Coffee overrides tiredness. When you drink coffee, you get extra motivated for like 2 hours, but you lose a bit of HP. While you are in "MOTIVATED" state, your HP gauge is hidden.
It's a bit heavy but I hope I was clear :-)
@rk3omega : You mentioned some of the ideas I has when making the game, but I didn't have time to implement them (reordering, seing time of tasks in the doing list, and skill points). I even coded skill bonuses for each tasks and was thinking of adding a tab to spend skill points at the start of the game. Gaining skill points when making more jams is a good idea as well. I'll think about it ;-)
@linheha : Merci, c'est la première fois que je fais de la musique en jam, je suis content du résultat :-)
Thank you all for your kind comments!
@quackqack Me too, I hope that my actual entry will get such good ratings ;-)
@kantieno About the ratings in-game, let me explain a bit how they work: Each feature has a specific type (game design, code, art, sound, and useless). For each category, I count the features of one or more types in the "Done" list and end up with a score between 0.5 and 5 stars. For instance, "Mood" is computed with "Art + Sound" features.
**
** A kind of winning strategy would be to choose only tasks that are short to make. **
**
The ratings are not linear, it's easier to go from 1 star to 2 than to go from 4 stars to 5.
In the end, I wanted the ratings to be satisfying, that's why they are usually quite good. Though, I think the perfect score should be harder to get...
A good game, and a powerful statement. Good job!
I didn't understand much but I had fun :-) I like runes.
Good job making this game!
I spent a bit more time on the game and managed to decipher the runes! I was still not able to defeat the boss though.
I expected a big reward from deciphering, like being able to read a very special hint to defeat the final boss. In the end, it just helped me read the UI and some flavor text.
It was a neat idea to make the whole game "cryptic", and I think you made it in a way that is visually appealing too. I did not expect to spend so much time on a ludum dare game :-)
Awesome game! Very funny and gameplay is great too. Easy to learn hard to master, but is it even possible to master it? So many people suck at driving.
Really nice game with a simple mechanic. Yet the smart level design turns it into something fun and challenging! Good job!
Solid game! Interesting mechanics, challenging gameplay but not too hard, gorgeous art style. Maybe a bit too easy but still a perfect entry for this jam. Congratulations!
Great voice acting! And great game overall! Short and straight to the point.
Nice game! Congratulations for making it :-)
Fun little game with nice art and music! I had fun playing it. Congratulations on making this game all by yourself :-)
Great idea for a puzzle game! I got a crash when two rats ate the same worm. Other than that, I enjoyed the game. Graphics are good, gameplay and level design are easy to understand but challenging. Good job!
Great game! I had fun making burgers!
Your interpretation of the Song of Storms made me giggle.
Cool idea for a game, and awesome graphics! A bit hard maybe (I lost my 9 lives against a single cat and I have no idea why). I'd love to see a leaderboard of all cults. Good job making this game!
Nice implementation of the theme! The whole game seems balanced (I managed to finish it on the 3rd try). I'm not a big fan of the graphics but I still think this is a great entry! Congrats!
Awesome game! I think the core gameplay is innovative and can be easily extended with new mechanics. Your proof of concept is really well made and makes me want to see more of it! plus That's a really good take on the theme! Good job!
Nice card game! I enjoyed it, and managed to win after a few tries :-) not so magic.png Good job!
Really cool game! I managed to clear it on the first try, but I was one-hit away of losing! I liked the art, music and gameplay, and I think the game is well balanced and challenging. The work on cameras is amazing too x-) Congratulations on making this great game in such a short amount of time!
Nice clicker! The graphics and music are great. The game seems balanced (maybe a bit too easy). Good job on making this game!
Really nice platformer but also very HARD! Good job :-)
Nice weird game! At first, I didn't understand why the strange effects, but then it became clear to me...
Kids. Don't do crumbles.
Nice game! Is there an ending other than "population lost" or "overpopulation"?
I love the tutorial screen :-)
Don't forget to rate other games to get more ratings on yours.
I think the concept is great and well executed. However, I have two concerns: - Why is the game so BIG? I had to download 400MB. For a Ludum Dare game, that's HUGE! I understand you made it with Unreal, but isn't there a way to make it lighter? - What's the point of moving at all? The game was a lot easier when I just stood in place and shooting whatever was coming after me. I got 20/20 without moving.
Despite that, I still think this is a great entry :-) I like the idea of sacrificing more and more features and I like the little cutscene after winning or losing.
Sacrificing light is the worst in my opinion. I preferred to do it at the end.
On top of that, the graphics and music are well done! I can tell you put some hard work to make different models for each character. I think they are gorgeous!
Congratulations for making this game!
@cevantime Woops, sorry for spoiling this secret :-X I can edit my comment if you'd prefer (though I think most people play the game before reading the comments). I'm glad you'll fix it anyway. I'm sure it will make the game more challenging :-)
Even 100MB would be better, I think. But yeah, I know the struggle with engines like that and Unreal in particular.
I'd like to see this game go further.
But before adding new mechanics into the game, I think you should make it possible to assign civilians by groups of 10 or even 100. Having to do it 1 by 1 is boring.
HLD43 AL9001 S1mul4t0r.png
Also, don't forget to rate other games in order to get more feedbacks :-)
Nice game! I finished it after a few tries, despite mouse sensitivity problems (I didn't see the sensitivity slider). The game is well balanced and visuals are okay. Congratulations :-)
Graphics and music are great, but gameplay needs to be balanced.
It was hard to see enemies coming and to anticipate my moves. Maybe the camera needs to zoom out a bit?
Good job making this game anyway! That's a fine entry to the jam :-)
Dude, it's amazing: we made the same game!
I mean, we had two very different approaches but we definitely started from the same idea, and we chose the same title.
I like the way you did it, but couldn't have good ratings in the end. It's pretty hard!
I like the graphics, and gameplay is good but a bit easy.
The game could really benefit some music/sound. And maybe you should introduce a mechanic to balance the fact that having a big population bring so much resources. I had maybe 15 villagers and resources kept coming in faster than I could spend them. Maybe more villagers should consume more resources, or maybe the cost of buildings should increase with population...
Anyway, great job on making this game! I enjoyed playing it :-)
Nice little puzzle game! I think it is a bit easy maybe.
Great job on music and art! It's amazing how you could come up with such level of polish in just a week-end!
A nice new way to make a Sokoban game! Story is original and well written. I enjoyed this game :-)
Good job for making it!
Nice little game for kids! I like the art and animation of the unicorn(s)
Nice cliker! I like the graphics but I'd love to hear some music and sound. Also I'd love to have a mechanic at one point to make the production of ingots automatic.
Other than that: good job for making this game in 48h!
Your concept is good and has potential, but I think your game needs balancing. Sacrificing "shoot" made the game way too easy.
Anyway, congratulations on making this game at 14yo! You are already ahead of most people your age, but don't be satisfied by that. Keep learning and keep making games! I'd like to see what you'll be capable of at 20 ;-)
Sometimes in life, you think you have a choice. But you don't.
you get two.png
Good job for modeling and animating 3D characters and for the music as well. All in 48 hours, that's impressive!
I feel like the gameplay could be more original, but it's a great entry for the jam! Congrats!
Nice little game! I felt it was a bit hard due to the playable character being too fast. I couldn't control it properly and often went further than expected. I played the webGL version.
I like the music and the whole concept of the game. Also I love cats (who doesn't?)
Congratulations on making this game in 2 days :-)
I had fun with this game. The challenge is easy to understand after a few tries, then it becomes quite addictive.
A few elements frustrated me, like during a swap, the game didn't tell me beforehand which parts would I lose.
Other than that, the game feels balanced and interesting. Good job!
The game is really well made! The atmosphere is strong and tense. Congratulations for making this (quite awful) experience o_O
Very simple game yet fun and addictive! A bit of sound would have been great. Great job on making this game :-)
Couldn't play the game :-(
I use Windows 8.1 on a ROG laptop. 7zip tells me the archive is corrupted.
Really cool game! I only sacrificed 69 people, I know I can do better!
I love the art and music! The gameplay overall is fun and balanced.
I like how you made the blood from sacrificial altar overflow to the right of the screen. And how this blood scares out peasants and they don't come bother me anymore (it happened around wave 52 for me).
LD43 Dark Villagers.png
Great entry! Congratulations!
Wow! The ending took me by surprise.
That's a great game. Good job!
I had to make lots of sacrifices... LF43 ants.png
Awesome game with a very interesting concept! I'd love to have more levels to play!
If I had one suggestion, it would be to make your game more accessible. You could create a itch.io page and export your game for different OSes. It should be easy using Unity. You can even try a webGL export. I'm sure more people will be able to try and rate your game if they don't have to download it at all :-)
And your game deserves to be played by more people.
If I had another suggestion, it would be to make the bullets more visible.
Congratulations on making this game! I wish you get a lot more ratings :-)
The process to play the game is a bit complicated (it's a windows installer). I would prefer to play the game in a browser.
The game itself is well made but lacks sound. I like the graphics and overall mood of the game, even if the gameplay is very simple. Congratulations for making that game :-)
Cool game! I enjoyed the gameplay and level design. I think camera and controls could be improved, I felt that camera was oversensitive.
Great entry anyway!
Too bad that there are no win/lose conditions. I think that's the only things that's missing to have a complete game. Art and sound are great !
Nice game! Quite simple gameplay but I like the graphics and whole atmosphere. It's impressive how you managed to implement Procedural generation in your game in 2 days only!
Like others, I'd say I couldn't really feel the tension of not sacrificing. Maybe you should increase the punishment we get for that. Other than that, great entry!
Really good and polished game! Nice job guys :-)
Feels like Super Hot. Great work on the game feel! Simple graphics work for me.
It's not common to see a full trailer on a Compo game! Kudos for that! :-D
Overall concept is interesting and mood is nicely done (tilted map and spooky music are great additions) but I felt that the game lacks meaningful choices for the player.
Each red triangle is just a dice to roll, on which I have little to no influence. Choosing which triangle to start with is the only choice I had to make but in the end, it didn't matter which triangle I chose to solve first. None of them were ever a threat (maybe I got lucky with the rolls?).
It's probably a matter of balancing, because all of the game mechanics seem to be here. Balancing is the most difficult thing to get right in a game jam, so I can't really blame you :-)
Congratulations to the whole team for making this game in just 3 days! You put in a lot of hard work and it shows!
Love the gameplay. Love the level design. Love the art. Love the music.
And to think you made it by yourself in 48 hours! For me, this is a perfect entry. Congratulations!
Really good game! I managed to beat it on the second try, and I sacrificed only speed and health.
The concept is clever and works well. Difficulty of the game increases not because enemies get stronger but because I get weaker, the feeling is a bit frustrating because it usually goes the other way. I think it fits perfectly with the theme!
Congratulations on making this game!
Nice game! Only played on single mode but I managed to win :-D
I had no idea what I was doing, but I saved the village! Yay! LD43 village is saved.png
Looking at all the comments, I'm so frustrated that I can't start the game on my computer. Any plans on maybe making it playable in browser?
Edit: Nevermind, I managed to start the game. For the records, you won't be able to play it if you try to start the game from a folder with non-latin characters in its name.
Edit 2: And I'm so glad I played it, this is hands down my favorite entry in this jam. Congratulations to whoever made it!
Really good game. Congrats!
Thanks everyone for playing and rating! And thanks for your suggestions as well. To answer some of your questions: - AI indeed use pixels color to make decisions, and only have knowledge of neighbor pixels and where they are relative to queen - Workers dig, bring food, and flee enemies. Fighters kill enemies. And scouts move around with a bigger vision range. Most of it is random decision making, giving a somehow organic result - There's no game over condition, except for when the game freezes due to performance
Great atmosphere but I think I ended in the void. All is black and I can walk forever.
Cool game! Seeing the title I expected something crazy and cryptic and was not disappointed! 5/5
