LD29 — Beneath the Surface

Doomsday Bunker by ZYXer 2014-04-30T21:05:00

What I found frustrating :
- not enough feedback before air raid -> dying while seeing the bunker's entry is hyper frustrating...
- can't build elswhere than below. Why being able to build a really complex (something like dungeon keeper) ?

Anyway, very fun and quite "finished".

Fan of Super Meat Boy?

The Cube by kevincorrigan 2014-04-30T21:19:00

I was unable to run it. Is it 64 bits?

MiDriPod by pumpkin 2014-05-01T20:31:00

A post-ludum version is online at http://www.gardn.fr/midripod/

Consider the version 1.2 for the purpose of compo voting, but have a look at the last version. (more polished and user friendly!)

Thanks for comments !

Sea's Bounty by jayemjee 2014-04-30T21:34:00

Strange but cute. A little fuzzy, however.

Beneath The Surface Integral by SlamBlasta 2014-04-30T21:15:00

C'mon! I'm on AZERTY keyboard and my WinXP can't change keyboard's layout without reboot. Please, if you don't want to lose time with key bindig (like me), at least bind movment on the arrow keys!

Germophobic by Phyllostachys 2014-04-30T21:28:00

I don't have python. Such a shame... Please include everything needed to run the game in the bundle, next time.

Glueck Auf! by xandgate 2014-04-30T21:54:00

I love the ending. Begining is really fuzzy (some explanations on what is what are needed) and once understood, the game is just "hire as many guyz as you can clik-click-click". Anyway, the ending is just so fun! Gratz!

The Captain's Holiday by qualia 2014-04-30T21:25:00

I just played some minutes. It's hard for a non-native English speaker to play this kind of game. But at least it's original.

Rain Dance by Kris with a K 2014-04-30T21:12:00

I didn't find a link to the theme.

MANIFOLD by microwerx 2014-04-30T21:57:00

Arf. Not Win32, right? Such a shame. Poor old computer... No fun games for you tonight.

Debris by sudojess 2014-04-30T21:31:00

No keybind, AZERTY keyboard, WinXP need reboot to change keyboard layout. I'll bother another time.

Debris by sudojess 2014-04-30T21:36:00

Arf, sorry. Unity allows keybind only in downloaded version. I'm a jerk. My bad.

LD33 — You are the Monster

Bird of Prey by ALobker 2015-09-02T09:41:00

No sound on an action game is a drawback. Anyway, no bug is good, for a Ludum. However, it feels a bit empty. If you made it in 10 hours, why not spending the rest of the Ludum adding mechanisms?

You Are The Minotaur by Bocodillo 2015-09-02T09:52:00

No goal is a drawback. Anyway, the realization is solid. Only little problem is collision with wall often hinders movement. Oh, and white text on gray walls it hard to read; be careful next time.

However I rated this entry rather high, there is something that bugs me I have trouble to explain clearly. While you have mechanisms (more than the average LD entries) they feel a bit odd. This sounds like a tower defense but without the clear one-path one-goal of a regular TD. While this is interesting to build a TD in a complex maze, if you have no clear goal, all the mechanisms you will add, as solid as they can be, will fall flat.

Sorry for the long comment.
Anyway, overall very good LD entry.

Defense of the ancient treasure - An stealth RTS by Jacktheviper 2015-09-02T09:32:00

Good idea, excellent on the technical side (no bug, easy to use, very good affordance). A bit slow and hard, as it has been stated earlier.

Stealth/RTS? Why not?!

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Countless Shards: Regrow the Worlds by pumpkin 2015-12-14T17:26:00

Now with windows port! ;)
