Nice music, quite difficult to protect all of the gold

Thanks for the comment about the music! I'm an experienced musician/composer so I'm glad someone enjoyed what I wrote.

Nice entry! I love the graphics and music, the style seemed to fit together nicely. Movement at times was a little difficult, a smaller hitbox for the player might have helped. There also didn't seem to be much of a difficulty curve, I got swarmed at the beginning and didn't have much time to learn the mechanics. Aside from that the game feels very polished, well done!

fun game to play. Graphics confuse me a little bit.but you got an good and really smart AI.

I enjoyed the challenge... and failed miserably. You're ai is just smarter than me I guess! That's how good it was. This could be quite a good tactical game with extra weapons that you could use somehow. I like most that the treasure stays where it has moved to, so you could have a massive defence and then one guy manages to get through and carry it away a little bit, then the whole defence is screwed. That mechanic is really cool. Loved the retro music too :)

Nice music, it was fun to play, I felt like the background disturb a little bit the gameplay, and the dart turrets are much stronger than mines. I also liked the sfx and the game style.

Overall; good job =)

Neat idea, super hard. Navigating the labyrinth to chase down guys was tough, which fit pretty well for the setting. (Also, if you want to have a stand-alone exe instead of an installer, you can choose it from the dropdown at the bottom of the window after you click "Create executable". They are much preferred around here.)

Thanks for the quick pointer about standalone. I've added that as a downloadable on the itch page.

Great idea !!

Really difficult. An awesome concept that I'm well surprised to see, good points for innovation I think.

reccy 2015-08-26 13:40

The music was good and the AI was also really good! I think there should be a win condition though, because once you get all 70 resources you can just plant mines beside the remaining 3 treasure and do nothing will the enemies get slaughtered. I still had a lot of fun though :D

Fun but I found it very overwhelming. Either the map needs to be smaller or I need more time to set up. Music is nice.
Its on my harddrive so I'll probably give it a couple more goes in the near future.

Nice game, but a bit hard.

felipeberquo 2015-08-27 21:20

Unfortunately there isn't a OS/X build :(
Can you make one? :P

bocodillo 2015-08-27 21:54

I'd love to, but looking into it, it seems like I'd require a Mac to export the game as the OSX compatible executable. And I don't own one or have any friends nearby that own one. I'll look into potential alternatives but it's unlikely I'm afraid. :(

No goal is a drawback. Anyway, the realization is solid. Only little problem is collision with wall often hinders movement. Oh, and white text on gray walls it hard to read; be careful next time.

However I rated this entry rather high, there is something that bugs me I have trouble to explain clearly. While you have mechanisms (more than the average LD entries) they feel a bit odd. This sounds like a tower defense but without the clear one-path one-goal of a regular TD. While this is interesting to build a TD in a complex maze, if you have no clear goal, all the mechanisms you will add, as solid as they can be, will fall flat.

Sorry for the long comment.
Anyway, overall very good LD entry.
