LD26 — Minimalism

One fine morning our machines are gonna cut us down by netmute 2013-05-07T20:25:00

Fun game and I always love when people do some strategy (and you did it fun with a twizt when you lost control of the battle)! Sad that you didn't have Java so you could try my game, you can swiftly install Java from here: http://www.java.com/

Life of Colonies by Overv 2013-04-29T14:49:00

Fun game (awesome with strategy a strategy game!) and loved the music with it! Didn't get any information of how to restart when I won?

Digging For A Potato by kewry 2013-04-29T14:53:00

Fun game! Potato! :)

A Cheap Atari Game by DrZanuff 2013-04-29T06:49:00

The game is fun! The minimalism, is it mostly that its pixels or what is the minimalism part of the game? The music is good, though maybe doesn't fit to the game?

Random Objects Smash by Moist 2013-04-29T15:35:00

Very fun and love the design! Sad that it isn't finished as it felt like it has a high potential!

The Parasite by jahlgren 2013-05-12T09:58:00

Fun platformer with neat 2D art! :) Inspired from Meat boy?

mz by rogerklotz 2013-05-09T12:10:00

Innovative, fun and really enjoyed it! Enjoyed the zooming out at the end though would've liked it to be slower so I could look at it closer.

Brutaliz'Art LD26 by lotusgame 2013-05-01T20:02:00

Nice game! Is it possible to select your own game to break? Currently the game selected to break seems to be random?

Funtendoid W.E.T. by Ariake81 2013-04-29T15:41:00

Cool game! Laughed out loud at a few of those warnings! Found a bug though - game crashes at times if you die when a box is popping up, else its smooth!

Def by pansapiens 2013-05-01T17:24:00

A very fun tower defense and giving it high graphics score, thanks for sharing!

Maxwell Rush by lanz 2013-04-29T16:38:00

Cool and very different! Couldn't figure out at what speeds the balls started to accelerate out of control though...

Timining 1D by GodsBoss 2013-05-09T12:01:00

Very fun game! Cool that you were able to finish this on less than 48 hours! :)

True treasure of Kartoffelschloss by mortus 2013-05-01T17:37:00

Charming game with personality and I personally like that you allow the user to make choices at each step which affects the gameplay. Choices are awesome!

A cube story by oskardevelopment 2013-05-12T08:00:00

@Everyone: Thanks a lot! Heart-warming with all the nice things everyone has said! Taking everything to heart for the next game I will make. I am trying my best to rate all the awesome games you guys have made - already rated most of your games and they are awesome!

@igrowbeards: Sorry, I've noticed I have been a bit too sadistic in the design - will try to make my next game less sadistic!

@ShellFishGames: Thanks! The reasoning of choosing a death when the actions went to zero was to depict my thesis "There's no life without actions".

@netmute: Sorry that I didn't include Java in the .jar - Java can be installed swiftly at: www.java.com

@arrogant.gamer: the game works fine on the tests of Ubuntu, Debian, OS X, Windows 7 and Windows XP. Though it seems to be that some simpler hardware has problems with threads so I did get the problems which you described while executing it on a Netbook Windows XP machine.

I didn't have time to fix it until the competition was over, sorry. :(

A cube story by oskardevelopment 2014-12-07T20:37:00

I'm amazed that someone looked at the game so far after it was released! Cheers for the feedback! :)

Unfalling Star by diegolh 2013-05-01T17:42:00

Fun and nice graphics! Good luck!

360 by ShellfishGames 2013-05-09T11:40:00

Very nicely done! Was very fun and made me complete the whole game in the first run! Giving it high points. :)

Sorry about the last action in my game - was thinking about doing it the way you suggested but felt to keep to the statement that a lack of actions is a lack of life. :)

A Cube Story by PushmePullyu 2013-04-29T07:15:00

Thought it was very innovative in its own way (top points!) though quite frustrating gameplay at times. For instance the momement I miss a jump far away from a wall to turn with... Good luck!

SPACEd out by Alex Camilleri 2013-05-12T11:53:00

Thanks for the game - liked the concept of using a very minimialistic gameplay while still making it feel like a larger game. Loved the music as well. Maybe allow fullscreen to get a more imerse feeling?

Oh, and sorry for feeling that my game was frustrating - have found out that it was a tad too sadistic at times and will try to make it easier for the player in future LD competitions.

Good luck! :)

Islands in a sea of blood by Andrew 2013-05-09T14:04:00

Really fun - loved the graphics and the usage of distances! Would've loved if you allowed the player to use exterminate on his own cities and thereby "fill" them with blood - thereby be able to stack border cities with blood. :)

The epicly short adventure by JaJ 2013-04-29T15:53:00

Awesome game! Loved the fact that I could go home any time I wanted! :p The character got stuck behind the first hill in the first water after the ship with the doublejump, that made me sad.

Plane View by Lucas Tiridath 2013-05-12T07:50:00

Fun and interesting touch to introduce "science" in a game! Was a bit hard to understand that the goal was to find the stuff with spikes rather than avoiding them. Spikes usually are scary in games. :)

The Migration by semi 2013-04-29T16:30:00

Fun! Love the fact that the fish movements are so natural! Got my eyes first up for this game on the twitter ads. A bug reoport: The game crashes if you reach the border of the map.

The Migration by semi 2013-04-29T19:28:00

semi: Its really a nice work so I think there is a market for it if you add some kind of story or goals to it. :)

On the topic of Twitter I saw some links from Twitter on the 27-28th I believe which linked to a YouTube video of the progress of your game. :)

Edward Was Human by geepit 2013-04-29T16:05:00

Loved it! First Ludumdare game I've played today that I got stuck on and "had" to finish! The ending was perfect as well. :)

Hexagion by Drabiter 2013-05-09T11:28:00

Simple game that keep to the Minimalistic theme! :)

MiniSim by jolle 2013-05-11T16:00:00

Downloaded this game a week ago though tried it out first now as of time scheduling issues. A extremely great game which I loved to play, holding my thumbs for you to win! Loved the use of 3D and the innovative automatic growth! Couldn't figure out how to zoom out, scrolling didn't work for me?

LD28 — You Only Get One

Ursa Miner by Will Edwards 2013-12-16T17:40:00

I'm very impressed! Really amazing that you were able to do so much on so little time. Good luck!

Coin by jarnik 2014-01-03T10:19:00

Nice with the global stats and that you only play once! I hoped that less people would've scratched the car, though I expected it... Very impressed with the art as well! Good luck!

Burning Fridges by foumart 2013-12-31T14:06:00

Well done puzzle and an innovative touch with the enemy puzzle part! Good luck!

Doubloon Dash by George 2013-12-17T21:39:00

Cool idea and have great potential, I wish you the very best - good luck!

One Move by Flyinpig5 2013-12-16T18:14:00

Fun, though very hard, game! Have you been able to get through the game?

I couldn't download the file with Chrome (I had to switch to Mozilla), and the download was very slow. Try to get another download source!

Good luck, I wish you the very best! :)

The Labyrinth of Keys by Martze 2014-01-03T11:36:00

Cool game, though a bit too unforgiving. That restart and using key is with the same key-code is a bit problematic.

Weird Egg & Crushing Finger by Mase 2013-12-31T14:13:00

Cool game with great graphics (Monthy Python vibe as mentioned by others), those wormy monsters - what are their purpose? Good luck!

Hope for an Audible Future by Benn 2013-12-16T17:43:00

Estethic game with a cool mood. I felt it was quite hard to move around. Good luck! :)

the Pit by MRvanderPants 2013-12-16T18:00:00

Cute game, both in style and in gameplay. Was a tad confusing when I the first game spawned either outside the screen or inside the map, though after a restart it all worked out! Really like how you cared so much about the details in the animations! Good luck!

YOGOS - YouOnlyHaveOneShield by Muciojad 2013-12-31T14:29:00

Cool game with awesome upgrades/boosts (?) that you could pick up during the game! That the bosses were diverse made it feel like continous progress even when the background and other enemies didn't change. Good luck! :)

0RBITALIS by AlanZucconi 2014-01-03T11:06:00

Fun game that looks cool, quite a gem that still have simple mechanics.

You Only Get One Earth by oskardevelopment 2013-12-16T18:02:00

Thanks everyone! Will try to do my best to rate your games and give them good feedback! :)

joserodolfofreitas, both WASD and clicking should work - it must have been a issue with the game not thinking you had it in focus or something? Not sure what to make out of it.

Cat Gentlemans Play: Insult Spinner 10 Cents by RobotLovesKitty 2013-12-17T21:36:00

Really fun and was very thought through at each stage, good luck!

Starbeard: The Curse of the Space Whales by Those 30 Ninjas 2013-12-17T20:55:00

Cool mechanics, nice esthetics and a fun game! A more interesting game than most I've played as of yet! :)

Thanks for playing my game, I've added controls tutorial at the top of the entry as to make it easier for other players in the future.

Good luck!

You Only Get 1 by Monoquartz 2013-12-16T06:54:00

I think the artwork is surprisingly well made and the gameplay interesting. I had at the start some problems in understanding the mechanics, for instance the dividing part. Would help a lot if it was better explained!

UniSwarm by ChaseC 2013-12-17T17:37:00

Really lovely esthetics for this kind of strategy game. I got stuck playing it for a while. Cheers and good luck! :)

Crystalline by X-0r 2013-12-17T06:55:00

Cool game with nice graphics. A bit chunky controls, though it was still a lot of fun. Good luck!

1 by eralpkaraduman 2013-12-17T20:14:00

Adorable graphics and a cool concept of a "game"! Good luck! :)

Uno Terra by Diptoman 2014-01-03T10:38:00

Great music and art, got a tad confused with the controls the first run. Good luck! :)

Sweat Marathon by oxysoft 2013-12-31T14:38:00

Nice game and a nice theme, quite out of the box. :p

One Earth, One Defender by Mental Atrophy 2013-12-16T17:53:00

Cool graphics, I love the background! A classic earth defender but with better graphics. Good luck! :)

Eggcited by intelligentbean 2013-12-16T21:25:00

Great graphics and fun gameplay! It's nice how much time that's spent on the animations! :)

Chambers by person124 2014-01-03T11:19:00

Hey! Great game, got a bit weird when you got lost and suddenly got stuck in a wall. I checked the source and generally you are programming quite a lot in a C++ fashion, which is a bit slow when directly translating it to Java.

Some general tips would be to have the player check for the winning door instead of looping through objects and seeing if the entity is the player and if so check if the player is within reachable distance, also that regenerating images constantly instead of using Java Swing components is a bit strange. I like your keyboard handling though!

Good luck!

YOGO Mom! by Coblynau 2013-12-17T20:58:00

A fun game that's touching a very private part of everyone's lives. Thanks for anticipating in Ludum dare and good luck! :)

Simple but still very fun, very innovative! Thanks for taking part in Ludum Dare and Good luck! :)

Cool graphics! Would be nice with more information ingame, good luck! :)

Lost in Universe by Doubstract 2013-12-16T17:46:00

Nice graphics! Must repeat what the others said that controls were a tad hard and information was very limited. Felt that the game had some potential though, a more moody version of Elite? Good luck!

Startrader by Nessic 2014-01-03T10:23:00

Loved the gameplay! Would be nice if to allow full screen and some easier way to move around (minimap?) could had helped. Good luck! :)

Space Highway Clearance Simulator by milugames 2013-12-31T14:35:00

Awesome graphics and interface! Good luck! :)

One chance to save your ass by occash 2014-01-03T11:31:00

Cool graphics, found it a bit hard at times (old version) to see differences between tiles if they were hidden by higher tiles. Good luck!

Onions Only Chance by joserodolfofreitas 2013-12-16T18:08:00

A very interesting game, both being quite fun with some humour feelings with the Mad Blue but also adding the rythm game to it. Thanks for making the game and trying to play mine (even if you had a bug I don't understand) wish you good luck!

Defusement of the Pyong by Kvisle 2013-12-17T06:52:00

Nice game, good graphics and fun. Good luck! :)

Code Tower by madmaw 2013-12-16T07:01:00

I like that it's given fun to Polish notation, great job! Well adapted for a table or smartphone. The first (highlighted)gameplay didn't work for me, couldn't do anything. The Accumaltors were working and were great fun! Thanks for the game! :)

Pixel Lanternbearer by FelixNemis 2013-12-31T14:31:00

Cool game, had some problems with the controls - though the cool feeling from the light, the pixelating and the music gave the game a good mood! Good luck!

Sensory Deprivation by Finn Stokes 2014-01-03T11:46:00

Nicely written, felt a bit forced sometimes as to make sure you used the correct sense to get past a problem.

LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Press Enter by Jezzamon 2014-12-10T20:00:00

Great game! Even if you expressed it as a glitched screen the gameplay came very natural and was very fun! The bug was really cute and the small movements it made were awesome! Thanks for the game and Merry Christmas!

BREAK| |THROUGH by Jeremy Oduber 2014-12-08T17:29:00

Nice retro game mood, inspiring both the graphics and audio! Would've preferred that I lost if I lost my balls. Good luck! :)

Press i for inventory by mr_tag 2014-12-09T19:12:00

I always love these kind of RPG simulators! Yours had also a lot better graphics and content than most of them I've seen, I'm impressed! Add music, a smoother story and some kind of story arc presentation and I'd say you got a hit! :)

Bugs are Hell by jellyislovely 2014-12-08T21:55:00

Bugs are Hell is a fun arcade game, that have some interesting parts of avoiding "bullets". If I lost the game locked itself so I couldn't restart. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

Dungeons & Margins VII: Financial Fantasy by matthewdpace 2014-12-10T18:29:00

Game feels like it has a lot of potential! I discovered a bug that if you buy/sell too fast the game crashes. Nice with the customer interaction detail. Thanks for the game and Merry Christmas!

Ludum Dare Builds A Snowman by blay09 2014-12-10T19:23:00

Cool Christmas game! Nice music, art and generally feeling! Our group built the snowman and maxed upgrades - though no victory happened. Would've been fun to have some kind of "ending". Enjoyed meeting the developer in the snowman chat! Thanks for the game and Merry Christmas!

To Continue by raincole 2014-12-08T17:10:00

Innovative, good looking and generally fun! A bit too hard at the start, so it could been good to be given a little more health at the beginning. :)

OUTRANGE by Snuux 2014-12-08T17:22:00

Nice visuals (as everyone else noted) and the game was very fun. Raising the difficulty when you get a higher score could've improved the game somewhat. Good luck! :)

Entire Screen of One Game by Tom 7 2014-12-10T18:05:00

Really cool and innovative game! Felt that I could win for a while, though everywhere I went it ended with vertical walls. Thanks for the game and Merry Christmas!

Interezza by oskardevelopment 2014-12-08T16:53:00

Thanks everyone! :)

@LostTrainDude, every "number" represents a dice thrown. So if 3 attacks 4, 3 wins if the three dices thrown are together a higher value than the other 4. If you select an area which is yours (blue if you haven't changed player), it note all neighbours. You can attack all neighbours that isn't of your own colour.

Interezza by oskardevelopment 2014-12-08T17:24:00

@jellyislovely Thanks! You can skip to the next game with F4 at any time, also if the enemy refuses to die you can always switch to the enemy side and making him move out from his hole with F6. :)

Galaxia by greysphere 2014-12-08T06:08:00

Fun idea, well implemented. Would be nice with a more graphical growth for each planet discovered! Though overall a very good game! Thanks for making it!

Snowman Lander 2014 by rincewind_cz 2014-12-10T17:18:00

Nice entry! Was quite fun and took some time to win each "level". The hard ASCII level felt a tad too hard at times, I had to use snowman corpses to actually win. Nice graphics and generally a cool idea! Merry Christmas!

Tesseract by Fede3751 2014-12-08T18:24:00

I like the art and that you've added the light effects! A tad hard to sometime to get "right" when jumping. Thanks for the game! Good luck and Merry Christmas!

Super Arena Hell! by randomdragoon 2014-12-08T17:53:00

Nice arcade shooter! I like the cartoonish style! Would've been good with a larger field to fight on. Thanks for the game and good luck! :)

Boobs Of War by Monochrome Bears 2014-12-09T17:49:00

Cool game and nice with the touch of having different weapons to choose from. An improved blast radius from the special weapon could've made it more fun. Loved the humourous touches and that well chosen controls. Thanks for the game and Merry Christmas!

Backlash by uniquecorn 2014-12-08T17:26:00

Nice game and I liked the visuals, though I think it could be improved with an AI opponent!

CoinCollector by maxhaesslein 2014-12-09T17:53:00

Wow at the art! Fantastic work for 48h! I had a problem discovering how to beat the white flying enemy until figuring out the part with the shield. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

EGOS by Mopz 2014-12-08T16:17:00

Cool game! Love the gameplay and the twist of destroying the "good guys". :) Good luck!

Clickity Click by broknecho 2014-12-11T17:54:00

I love strategy, I love tower defense and I love Clickity click. Kudos for using (and mentioning) Kenney! A bug seems to be that the game lags out if you get more than 1600 units. Merry Christmas!

Cuberot by guldlock 2014-12-10T17:36:00

I haven't voted - no controls on my keyboard worked so I can't play the game. Windows 7.

Light by Lamiche 2014-12-08T16:10:00

Great mood and audio. There was no information if you had or lacked the fireball ability, so it was confusing of how you got it and how it worked. Interact with A didn't make any sound, so made it confusing. Good luck!

Squint Maze by AlSweigart 2014-12-09T06:17:00

Cool concept. Great music, though the game is a bit hard for the eyes. Thanks for the game and Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the game! Cool graphics and fun! Good luck and Merry Christmas!

Sad that you didn't finish it! The planet looks nice.

Unnamed Game by Timm638 2014-12-08T16:23:00

Fun game - fantastic with the complexity between production and building. I thought it was a bit hard to understand the goal until I read the comments, perhaps add som more descriptions here?

SIRTET by stray 2014-12-10T17:55:00

Innovative take on the Tetris genre! The game was fun and I thought that it fit the theme well! I think that the game would be improved with a larger board, though the game was well thought through! Merry Christmas!

What is in the end? by goro 2014-12-09T16:24:00

I loved the music and the background! I got a tad confused at the controls though, as my WASD did apparantly do nothing? Somehow I won the game without realising what was happening. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

YOU ARE GOD by BusinessClient 2014-12-09T17:37:00

Amazing graphics and quite unexpectly funny to figure out that clicking a pencil loudly is a sin. Cool concept in general! Thanks for the game and Merry Christmas!

Space Cargo by Skoggy 2014-12-09T17:43:00

Beautiful game with the important touch of humor! A tad long way to move the cargo each flight? Fantastic audio as well. A very well made game! Merry Christmas!

Communications Control by PapyPilgrim 2014-12-11T21:15:00

Solid gameplay, the story and gameplay were really well made! Fit the theme well and was fun. Could've had a deeper story, though I understand that you had the timelimit that hindered you. Thanks for the game and Merry Christmas!

Kaleidoscope by Madball 2014-12-09T16:31:00

Cool game! Thought it looked quite simple at first and I had no idea what was happening - though after a few rounds it grew potentially, when gravity started to turn the game was both extremely fun and hard. Great job and Merry Christmas!

The X of Y by Homletmoo 2014-12-08T06:12:00

Humourous, fantastic music and well implemented game. How do you continue after collecting all the keys?

A Punker's Tale by ChronusZ 2015-04-20T16:19:00

Hi! The screenshots looks awesome, though you haven't packed LWJGL with the JAR file, making it crash at start. Good luck!

Hi! Great game! Cool mechanic, took a while to master! Love that it's so simple but still so fun! :)

Good luck!

Black Beam Blaster by Xgor 2015-04-20T16:08:00

Loved the music and the main character! :)

Cool use of allowing the player to reach the goal by destroying the walls, I thought it gave a few new perspectives!

I had some issues sometimes that if I had damaged the floor at a door I couldn't get through the door.

Great game and good luck! :)

Do as I say by Ludipe 2015-04-20T16:31:00

Cool graphics, love the music and quite a cool use of music icons and movements! Allowing jumping on enemies and adding the goal to reach the goal at once (Build a brige level) surprised me.

Good luck! :)

Hi! This game is cool, it have great graphics, sound and is well made! Perhaps add some extra kind of weapons to the various characters?

Good luck!

What Do They Want? by DesignerNap 2015-04-20T16:35:00

Quite an innovative take on the unexpected weapon! I love the graphics and the audio. I thought it a bit hard to understand how to play though, took me a while before I understood that what I clicked on caused missiles to be shot at the enemy space ships! :p

Good luck!

Hemland - a Roguelike by oskardevelopment 2015-04-20T16:15:00

Hej Linus! I am sorry to hear that!

It's expected to at least have Java 7 - if you have a lower Java version than 7 you are open for hostile attacks as of Oracle not patching security threats for Java versions previous to 7.

You can upgrade to Java 8 at:

Hemland - a Roguelike by oskardevelopment 2015-04-20T16:58:00

Thanks Andrew!

@bpvelloso: Thanks a lot!! I wanted to improve the controls, graphics and sound - though I was closing in on deadline and have a family that had to be prioritised.

I wanted to improve the controls, I am sorry that I couldn't give you a better game experience, I will try to do better next Ludum Dare!

Flying Carpet by Kalinka 2015-04-20T17:46:00

Hi! The game is awesome! Cool 3D and world (flying enemies, comets and so much more!), though took a while to get a hang on flying.

Great game, good luck!

Coin Cannon by Lancelot Gao 2015-04-20T17:49:00

Hi! Awesome art, audio and gameplay! A bit hard to not being allowed to waste any coins at all, would be nice to have some coins for change. :)

Nature's Assault by Ptolo 2015-04-20T04:31:00

The Unconventional Weapon by gamehelp16 2015-04-20T05:34:00

I like the ascii graphics, sad that i couldnt vote on graphics! Cool use of the html. God luck!

5 inches true damage by Sogomn 2015-04-20T16:01:00

Nice game! :)

The art was awesome and quite easy to understand what to do!

Looked at the code, and it looks quite well, especially how you set up the graphics.

A tip is to avoid calling a package "Object" (as it conflicts with Java standards) and as a few of your objects had the same functionality you could've used a shared superclass.

Generally a fun game, thanks and good luck! :)

5 inches true damage by Sogomn 2015-04-20T18:24:00

@Sogomn: "view" or "model" are classical names, else "type" or "unit" would work as well. A tip is also to keep constants at the top and variables below the constants to keep the code cleaner.

Protector Of The Shrine by maunovaha 2015-04-20T15:47:00

Score: 5650. :)

Fun game and I enjoyed the singing! Would be good if Singing would be with mouse or space key, I also had large issues with the hitting using left mouse key, felt like I only hit with every third attempt.

No More Flies by bpvelloso 2015-04-20T17:33:00

The audio was extremely fitting and the graphics felt cool! The flies had to die!

Good luck!

This is War by Florent Juch 2015-04-20T15:52:00

Cool game with awesome mood! I loved the graphics, the sound and the gun shooting "text" felt awesome!

The only issue I had was that the jumping caused a lot of problems for me.

Great game and good luck! :)

Bird Quest by Mantlair 2015-04-20T04:56:00

Quite hard to understand how to play. I thought the idea of a bird was different, though I think it should be more information earlier of how to use it for damaging enemies. Nice use of multiple types of enemies! Good luck!

MagDef by jhell 2015-04-20T17:54:00

Hi! Cool graphics! Is the only way to upgrade by clicking on the research button continously?

Bunny Attack by texdata 2015-04-20T16:14:00

Quite a different game and a fun use of "unconventional weapon"! :)

Loved the 3D, and was there a reason for having the people dancing around the player?

Good luck! :)

LOVE: An Unconventional Weapon by Cherrymochi 2015-04-20T18:11:00

Cool graphics and audio for quite a different Asian theme. The joke wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. :(

Good luck!

Bad and Breakfast by Krisjet 2015-04-20T04:53:00

Cool take on the Mario platformer! :) Quite cool idea with not having "jump" but instead using the cannon. Cheers for the game!

Out of Bullets by haveric 2015-04-20T04:59:00

Nice that you throw garbage at the enemies! Would've been nice if the garbage had felt more like thrown garbage though, as now it feels like bombs that is a bit more classical of the genre.

I like the graphics and its visible that you've spent some great time on making it great!

Good luck! :)

LD33 — You are the Monster

Rampage by JPatrick 2015-08-24T20:54:00

Cool game! Cool amount of people moving giving the game an "alive" feeling, would be nice with some sound effects. Great work with the game and good luck!

Brood by SecondDimension 2015-08-29T13:53:00

Awesome game! I loved the graphics (including the help screen and the cat in the credits)! Felt that a greater focus in the help screen describing when a egg is large enough to become a brood would make it easier to start winning! Awesome idea and nice take on the theme! Great game!

House of Stairs by Ludonaut 2015-08-24T20:43:00

Cool 3D and scary environment, I've tried to get to the bottom for a while now - and it doesn't seem to end? I want to get out of that prison!

Adventure's Of Lenky by Gas 2015-08-27T15:45:00

Great game! How many levels are there? I gave up after 13 rounds.

Aetri by oskardevelopment 2015-08-24T21:09:00

Tips if the enemy is too fast, there's a pause option (either click on Pause in the menu or press key 'P' ingame) that allows you to take actions in peace!

Good luck!

Thanks a lot! Your game was great as well!

Aetri by oskardevelopment 2015-08-25T20:15:00

>Nice entry! Does the game end? Can you win/lose? Or every time you get crushed you simply respawn somewhere else?

Every time you die or you eliminate all enemies a new map is created. A ending exist though. :)

Aetri by oskardevelopment 2015-08-29T15:25:00

>Nice game, it took me a while to figure out, but once I got it, it became a fun game about territory control. The only thing I never quite worked out was why I sometimes seemed to lose to weaker fleets - there didn't seem to be much indication of why this happened

Each number represent a dice, making the game similar to Risk - there I added a bonus to the larger fleet in each battle, making it more likely to win.

So yes there's a random chance of loss, though the larger your fleet is compared to the other the smaller the chance to loose the battle is!

Minion Factorium by DaanVanYperen 2015-08-24T20:30:00

Cool game with nice sound and quite polished - I couldn't figure out how to get past 3th level, I got all the stars but the level didn't end?

Starvin' Sasquatch by GertJohnny 2015-08-25T18:13:00

Really cool game! Loved the art and the mood! Amazingly well done for a Ludum Dare entry! :O Perhaps could make it a little less step in difficulty between level 2 and level 3 - though in summary the best game I've tried yet this Ludum Dare!

Mortal Fright by belva1234 2015-08-24T20:49:00

Awesome art and lightning! I love how you are able to get the monster part of theme so nicely into the gameplay! Great work!

Lab Resist by darklightteam 2015-08-25T20:21:00

Cool game that follows the theme well! Nice graphics and sound! Would love to be able to remove the dialog with the mouse button, space and / or enter as it took me 3 mins to discover how to start the game (J button)!

Denoky by Namide 2015-08-26T18:22:00

Cool 3D, sweet music and you noticed the Ludum Dare theme! Was a bit slow to do the jump making it a bit of an effort to take out the units, while the bullets was very quick and hard to avoid. Cool Ludum Dare entry and good luck! :)

Pissed off Zombie by wdebowicz 2015-09-13T07:44:00

Always nice with more RTS in Ludum Dare! Loved the idea, the gameplay and the music! Generally an awesome game!

pyinpyang by undefinist 2015-08-29T13:19:00

Great game! Nice controls and nice movements. When I die and there's a "New Highscore!" the game get stuck, I have to exit to start playing agin - perhaps make the restart automatic? Awesome game!

Swarm Lord by Ptolo 2015-09-08T17:39:00

Awesome game! I'm really missing the RTS in the Ludum Dare! Loved the idea of eating! Could been nice if the swarm didn't loose as much health as quickly (if at all) when being located on "drained" land. Nice music and a good mood!

I: Alien by gnuwilliam 2015-08-25T18:08:00

Cool game with nice graphics, I felt quite bad at each human I jumped on! Good luck! :)

Of Glorious Nation by Xinelu 2015-08-25T19:13:00

Great music and nice mood. Gave the feeling of a North Korea or Soviet state making the game give quite well the intention of the theme! Sad about the bugs and it really made the game smaller. :(

Star Savior by unnamed1334 2015-08-30T10:42:00

Really cool story! Awesomely written and cool starship graphics!

Minion Army by aucguy 2015-08-27T16:46:00

I like the concept and how it follows the themeThere seems to a be a lot of null bugs? I get stuck if I click on Instructions. I like the concept and how it follows the theme. Please continue to work on it and make it better! :)

Vendetta! by keddelzz 2015-08-27T15:54:00

Awesome! Loved the retro! Tip is to add info above that the player needs to unpack the ZIP file before starting the game, else there won't be any levels to choose from nor will the level editor work! Cool how you were able to get such cool music and theme right in such a short time! :)

Homeland by Kubees 2015-08-30T13:00:00

Awesome game! Quite noting that you are a musician as the music is extremely awesome and well integrated in the game! I must say that the game felt a lot more awesome (if that was possible) in fullscreen, so don't try to scare us players from playing in full screen!

Thanks for the experience, awesome game with an awesome end text!

Monster Sheep by Caspila 2015-08-25T20:26:00

Cool game with great music and graphics! Was a bit hard to click on buttons or move, and the sheep could sometimes get stuck without being able to move it. Nice use of the theme and nice twists of sheep "abilities"! :)

You are the Minotaur by futom 2015-08-25T18:35:00

Sweet graphics, sweet music and awesome mood. You really got the controls and the gameplay right, and gave the "gaining health by eating" as a nice twist! Felt a tad short and with only one boss! The game was awesome and I want more! :)

Midnight Bootleg by Pastry 2015-09-13T08:16:00

Cool game. Is there an "end", or are you stuck after you've viewed the clip and the screen explodes?

Lair of the Scare by RockhopperGames 2015-08-26T18:29:00

Sweet game! Love the hairy little dude! The texts were awesome as well! A bit hard to see the difference between a frightened and a non-frightened hero, though was awesome animations of them fleeing when getting scared! Awesome!

Billy Goat Grub by ChrisFagan 2015-08-29T07:20:00

Awesome game! Nice art, music and cool gameplay. I loved how you connected the troll with the traditional lore! :)

Handsome Fishman by dwemthy 2015-08-26T16:08:00

Great music and cool enemies! Was a bit hard, so I couldn't get further than the skeleton skull as the game reset to start at each "death". The mood was awesome and I loved the handling of the control information at the start!

Sudden Peace by PizzaPortal 2015-08-30T13:28:00

Great entry! Cool graphics and well done music!

The Stars are Watching by Xanderzoo 2015-08-25T18:24:00

Awesome game, nice story - when the captain started to discuss the shape of the aliens I felt something was bad! Nice controls, though took a minute to learn them - perhaps add some easier step at the start to learn the controls? Was real fun and was surprisingly different strategies needed for different opponent ships!

Free Hugs Kraken by crucknuk 2015-08-30T12:52:00

Awesome game! That hug when getting a ship was amazing! Great art!

Tenebrous Expanse by WubAlliance 2015-08-25T18:53:00

Drunkula by francismoy 2015-08-29T08:50:00

Cool game! Loved the art and the background music! Was a bit hard to click on some objects. Liked how it followed the theme and the intro was awesome! :)

Kraken Skulls by razavidn 2015-08-25T20:31:00

Cool game and nice enemies! Apparantly only a few times the tentacle attacks worked, most of the time I was banging my keyboard with nothing happening! I loved the kraken and the enmies look, was really fitting graphics and the audio was very well made!

Breaking Monstrosity by Deadpan-Gamez 2015-08-24T20:39:00

Damn that end, scared the shit out of me! This game really follows the theme! The game is a monstrosity in so many ways!

Deap Sea Monster by bumbu 2015-08-25T18:38:00

Cool game with a nice gamplay! You got the theme right and with great music! Would be cool if you had more light at the start, as it took too long time to learn the game when I had to restart so quickly.

Smash the Peasants by Coac 2015-08-25T18:42:00

Cool art and amazing music! Got some bugs so I couldn't click on buttons and my attacks getting stuck. The game followed the theme well and I loved how you got the music and art so cartoonish! :)

Nightmare on "The Cookies" street by BarrelGames 2015-08-25T19:03:00

Nice game with awesome graphics! Got a bit of Shrek inspiration while playing. :) Great take and sweet feeling when seeing the animation of eating the candy men!

The Boomies by Pantoufle 2015-08-29T13:32:00

Cool game and I love how cute everything is (and that they even are harvesting material)! I wasn't able to move upwards, likely as of bad screen resolution, an idea is to add keyboard input to move as well. Nice graphics and funny comments! Sweet game!

Caring Creature by stupidmindlessf 2015-08-27T16:36:00

Awesome graphics! You really made the art unique! Was a bit hard to eat, most of the time the ship only sank to the bottom. The music was a really nice addition as well! Great game!

Collateral by mklee 2015-08-24T21:22:00

Really a "You are the monster" themed game! Nice work, though made me feel quite like a evil monster at the end when I noticed I was competing with the bombs to kill humans! Nice gameplay and fun game!

Bug life by mramaizng 2015-08-24T21:20:00

Cool monster game! I like how you took use of the movements in such an innovative way! Is there another ending than "The monster never wins", or is that the real end?

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Realm by Vadinci 2015-12-14T19:27:00

Awesome game with very fitting graphics! I got a tad sad when I only received mines and markets without any tools nor any high ground. Fel nice to see the empire grow and felt like an impressive work for a weekend, good work!

The Dark Knight March by abuzreq 2015-12-20T12:48:00

Hi abuzreq, thanks for the kind words of Growthia!

In The Dark Knight March I think the music was awesome and the mood was good. I think it would've increased the fun and difficulty if the placement of soldiers and energy were a tad more random (now I could get 30,000 score and 150 energy by tricking the game). I like the player's character's look and feeling!

I would've allowed people to vote on the mood category rather than the humour category if you want a higher score, as your mood was great!

In Nero's Last Campaign I think you did a good job at the mood (and with the touch of humour)! I also enjoyed the map and the historical connections.

I think I would've been more deeply involved if you improve the grammar and spelling at the start of the game.

They controls are easy to understand, though how the 1-5 powers work in practice is a tad hard to grasp (sometimes it feels like that there is a random chance of inverted success?).

Good luck with both your games and thanks for your comments on Growthia!

Warmest regards,
oskardevelopment

Space Research Team by pinion 2015-12-14T19:34:00

Cool coop-game. Are there no enemies after 30 seconds? Flew around for ever and didn't see anything after the first 30 seconds?

Growthia by oskardevelopment 2015-12-14T18:19:00

Hi eerongal! You need to left click on a blue square and then right click where to move, you don't have to bother with right/left clicking if you're on Mac!

Thanks Jod for the kind words!

Thanks KoalaBot for the kind words! What you experienced is what I've added for Mac OS players as to avoid you being forced to use control buttons when moving around. If you're playing on any other OS you won't experience the instant movement.

Growthia by oskardevelopment 2015-12-14T18:54:00

Hi Connors!

The game considers that you have finished the game and gives you the victory if you've eliminated all the enemy units and conquered all their buildings - even if the enemy have some land left.

I'm sorry that it felt like the game cheated you from your well deserved victory! I'll try to add a victory text to the game! :)

Growthia by oskardevelopment 2015-12-18T15:54:00

Thanks everyone for the kind words!

>Clicking didn't seem to do anything.

Hi OrganeeZ!

Did you try to select the blue area with the left mouse button, and then move the units to another area with the right mouse button?

If so, did it work if you restarted the game?

Folkk by Kalinka 2015-12-20T09:00:00

Great game! Cool idea and implementation!

I think the paths are bugged when there are more than 3-4 peasants working, and is the castle and the donkey breeder mixed (the castle is currently spamming donkies)?

Longbeard by Joe Williamson 2015-12-18T22:07:00

Awesome game! Sadly it bugged out as my beard got stuck to the ground! Amazingly well made music and art! Good work!

Decision by Sim00n 2015-12-20T07:41:00

Cool game! Is it the differences shown when you can "Change", "Not Change", or the current active causes?

Inside You by FredericRP 2015-12-18T18:48:00

Cool idea and I liked the style the music and the 3D created. It took a while to figure out the keys required for the gameplay (perhaps add text near the symbol?), and I think I didn't fully understand the paths I ended up on. Good luck with the game!

Complete Control by Mikhail 2015-12-19T20:08:00

Cool game! Always love strategy entries!

Would be more difficult if the enemy built more and attacked more often!

Fun game and nice Christmas tree! Thanks for the game!

Colonize by WeirdMind 2015-12-14T19:56:00

Growth Industries by quill18 2015-12-14T16:13:00

Awesome game! Loved the idea! Couldn't figure out the adjacent symbols though, would've liked them to be a tad clearer / larger! Good luck!

My Little Planet by Bjarnovikus 2015-12-14T18:42:00

Sweet game! As it ticks so quickly it's hard to have time to read through what materials increases what bacteria. It's a lot of fun and I hope the game does good in the rankings!

LD36 — Ancient Technology

PALEO by RIPPorkins 2016-09-01T16:33:00

Nice game with cool art! I couldn't find the mammoth before I lost my villagers. :( Is there a way to heal damaged villagers or get new ones? Sometimes I felt that I should've gotten more berries, especially considering all the master baskets I'd crafted, than I got - I don't know how I can plan ahead in regards of berry amounts?

Map The Stars by vitineth 2016-08-29T15:03:00

Nice 3D renderings and the place had a nice touch!

The story felt at times lacking in content, making me wonder what I was doing and what was I supposed to do with the lenses.

Could I ever get back to where I came from when I got to the crossroads with the east and the north door?

Robotanists by NamNam 2016-09-01T16:11:00

Link doesn't work. :(

Legend of ZOL - Lightbringer by Nervous Composers 2016-08-30T18:22:00

Cool game with nice art and music! Would be cool if the adventures at first option (30 and 2) would've intertvened later on in the game.

Is there any ending that ends happily without me dying nor being called a coward? I couldn't find any other kind of ending at least.

No Robot's Sky by juaxix 2016-09-01T15:17:00

Cool graphics and sounds! Had problems with the texture and I couldn't figure out what button to use to destroy the turrets (thought it was to run through and hack the terminal, though apparantly I could only do that after I destroyed the turrets?).

Ancient Maze of Epla by xesenix 2016-08-29T15:47:00

Cool puzzle game with nice usability! After the arrows started the game lagged a lot making it hard to do things when the character got stuck at various places for long periods.

PrimalVoxels by MewSoul 2016-09-01T15:19:00

Nice use of voxels. Was a bit boring to play alone and the map felt a bit little and wasn't so hard to find the opposition (perhaps some kind of LoS would've improved the gameplay?).

Alby by davidcmcdonald 2016-08-29T15:09:00

Felt a bit tricked when I was able to fall outside the game.

Cute graphics and sounds, nice arrow physics. Could've been a bit more difficult.

Nineveh by Mark Ffrench 2016-08-31T18:44:00

Really cool game! I love strategy games, and this was first easy to learn the basics, had a lot of depth and was very well made! Only thing missing was some music, a little more content and some events, and you'd be set for being able to sell it! :)

Atlantis Builder by CyberStarLight 2016-08-31T18:26:00

Cool game, nice art, nice music and good mood. I was able to cause bugs (disapearing materials etc) by clicking a lot on things both at the inventory and at the crafting menu at the same time.

Can I change the direction of the walls, and how do I do that?

Thanks for the info about the receipts, else a lot of things would've taken a lot longer!

Ancient Wind by c4m 2016-08-29T15:31:00

Nice sound effects and cool graphics! My character was stuck at first, took a while before it started moving.

Couldn't figure out how to solve the puzzle, would be nice to have some clues of how it worked!

Ancient hunter by tomisoka 2016-08-29T15:27:00

I like the main characters sprite!

The game would be improved with music and if I get some information about why I'm trying to kill all those cute rats!

Nothing happened when time ended?

Inventions Through Time by CodeChomper 2016-09-01T18:35:00

Simple but still fun game mechanice, fun that you went from the past to the present. The historic aspect is always fun, though got upsetting when you got the presence and your absolute Apple focus got very noticeable. A bit hard to understand why you prioritised the Walkman or the iPhone ahead of the internet, radio, cellphone and so on.

On the note of the first PC, there are plenty before Apple I, there the most famous one is Xerox (the first PC with a GUI).

The game had a good calm mechanic that worked well and the art was great, you could've added more game mechanics as the one mechanic there is got a bit stale in the 17th century. Sound would've also improved the game.

Project Leonardo by micheleV 2016-08-30T16:45:00

Cool game! When I reached a certain point it was hard to guess and the hints didn't help anymore, mostly hinting about number 42 (fun idea)! :)

Atlantis Warmachine by kuro 2016-08-29T15:13:00

Nice idea with the memorization, though sadly the first game I tried it seemed to been buggy so there was no working combination.

I had to reload the game to be able to move the machine.

Would be nice with some more music!

Crystalline Computations by Skye 2016-08-30T17:21:00

Nice puzzle game where -8 took me quite long, while the larger puzzles went quite quickly (I guess I must've be cheating as it was so easy?).

Cool idea and nice to have some maths again, was too long since uni! :)

Antiquis Apparatus by Seizar 2016-08-30T18:09:00

Nice music, nice graphics and nice physics. Got a bit annoyed when pieces that I had put perfectly moved when I touched them with the next piece! Arrgh!

Perhaps a bit too much mix of calm and small things ruining a lot of work, though in general a good game! :)

Naumachia by BlueLlama 2016-09-01T16:15:00

Great graphics and music. The soldiers doesn't have enough effect so I can't win, and the IA can't with either, so the game stuck in limbo. :( Was a cool idea, I hope you continue to work on the game!

God's Market by Mixer 2016-08-28T13:28:00

I like the idea, cool that you did it with Angular! :)

The music was surprisingly fitting, only thing I felt was a bit confusing was that if I had to do something else than trading and feeding as a player?

Is it only the automatic increase that exists, and all changes the player can do is clicking on trade and feed?

Spear the sun by lightsoda 2016-08-29T20:19:00

Cool music and graphics! The physics worked and after I figured out I had to draw in the opposite direction to fire it all went nice.

Sadly I figured out that I could always finish the levels at the end if I spammed the arrows quickly enough making the sun crash in the expanding movement. Speed went better than precision.

Cool game, fun to learn and was fun to finish (even if it'd be cool with a few more levels)! :)

Warring Townships by Liam :D 2016-08-30T19:07:00

I always love strategy games.

Sadly I had a problem to move (I could only move by zooming?). The first game there was no enemies spawned, the second I won easily as the enemy's AI didn't work. Even when I had destroyed all enemy buildings and units, the game didn't end, there was no "end" of the game. There's no music. :(

A Robot named Rover by Hackingroelz 2016-08-30T17:04:00

Cool art and music.

The game was extremely hard, I was able to get through the robots and the first wolves. Though game crashed when I lost on the second wolves scenario.

Would've been nice to had a few easier scenarios first before you racked up the difficulty.

The Coterie by oskardevelopment 2016-08-29T17:23:00

@RockhopperGames thanks! The game has 5 endings, there either losing against the cops or beating the cops gives you an ending with no conclusion to the story.

If time ends up or you are able to solve the mystery in time you get the other 3 endings!

@lightsoda WASD, arrows or clicking on the minimap! :)

@Multitudes22 Thanks a lot! :)

@LCMW_Spud That sounds strange? Did you have any thief alive to do the conquering?

@onyon I hope you liked it and that you figured out how to play! :)

The Coterie by oskardevelopment 2016-08-29T17:24:00

Congrats on the highscore btw! :)

The Coterie by oskardevelopment 2016-08-30T16:36:00

@Hackingroelz Thanks!

@Aun Yes, it's possible to kill the policemen. Game ending is either to survive until time run out, kill the police, die or to solve the mystery. If you are able to do all of those then you did a good job! :)

@vitineth Thanks! I will try to add more descriptions in future games!

@Senor Salty I'm sorry to hear that. What bugs did you experience and what OS were you playing on?

@PeachTreeOath I like strategy games, and I believe hexagons are a good way to make strategy games. I probably intend to make 2-3 more hexagon Ludum Dare entries before I attempt either a provincial or non-geometric strategy. :)

@BloodJohn I'm sorry to hear that! :( Did you try to restart the game? What OS did you play on?

@RockhopperGames Thanks! From a game design viewpoint I agree with you, actually at first I intended to make it harder, though when I finished the game myself I felt that I had to put into a bit too much effort. After the release I felt I perhaps should've made it even easier, though I guess hindsight is easy. Thanks for playing and commenting, it really helps! :)

The Coterie by oskardevelopment 2016-09-01T15:07:00

@CyberStarLight Thanks for playing! Yes, there's no damage functionality, so if you attack multiple times it will not have any extra effects. If you want to merge or customize your stacks then you can do so in the "Army" tab. Opium causes more Infamy than Gambling Dens do, Infamy is both your score and also affects how well and aggressive the police plays against you. The less Infamy the less difficult the opposition.

@Mark Ffrench The big stacks of Deaths are quite nerve wrecking! :) A tip to combat the police is to burn down the police stations after you capture them. The higher score (Infamy) you get, the better the police become. The kinder you play the less policemen you get (less score), the more evil you play the more policemen you get (higher score) and the more heathen you play the closer to the apocalypse you get (if you sacrifice children to the tentacles or crucify the vicar the apocalypse gets closer in time). I think you can lessen the time before the apocalypse with about 12 years if you maximize the heathen playstyle.

@nervous.composers Thanks for playing!

@tmpxyz Thanks for the comments! I will try to improve the fonts and add more feedback in future Ludum Dare!

Ancient Akkadians by hitchh1k3r 2016-09-01T18:43:00

I had a problem to understand when the crops would've give me food and when it wouldn't? Putting it at symbols with numbers, with a figure or building new crops didn't help, the retrieving of new crops felt random? Great graphics and inventive idea, a bit better feedback and information ingame would've been nice.

Ice, Fire, Сodfish and Sheeps by BloodJohn 2016-08-29T20:11:00

I was not able to get better than three winters?

The art is amazing though the information regarding loss of wool, food and sheep is a bit too little making it hard to create a logical playthrough.

Cool idea and nice sound! :)

Aqueduct Architect by Multitudes22 2016-08-29T20:01:00

Master Aqueduct Architect of All of Rome! I won't promise to defend the honour of all architects out there, though I must say it was a really fun game! :)

Nice music and love the building! In usability I'd enjoy if after I built a piece that the next piece I got was the same one as the one I built, so I don't have to get back to the last construction again. I'd also love to be able to move the camera more freely somehow.

Cool game and well implemented, thanks! :)

Aqueduct Architect by Multitudes22 2016-08-30T16:39:00

@Multitudes22 I meant that if after construction, I would've liked if the next piece I can build with would stay the same (not change so I had to use 'C' to get the same piece again). :) Thanks for the game!

Retro Player by justinooncx 2016-08-29T15:37:00

Nice graphics and a cool idea, was a tad hard to keep both the character and the aim active!

Was a tad extra hard with the web as the web started to jump around if clicked in the wrong place.

Good luck! :)

Ancient Boom by Jordan 2016-08-29T15:42:00

Nice music and light physics! As maffydub I couldn't get movement to work. I couldn't die or much anyhting else than placing out rocks?

Left Behind by RockhopperGames 2016-08-29T19:47:00

Amazing and great atmosphere! Really spooky, both visuals and sound!

At the green cavern at the bottom, is there any other way out there? Was quite scary when falling down the hole, though was a bit disapointed when the bot ended up back at home. :p

Great game, thanks for making it, has great potential! :)

Orion by PixelStuff 2016-09-01T15:24:00

Nice graphics and a cool sound! Would've been nice with some more game mechanics, as drawing star constellations became dull after some time. An interesting take on the puzzle game style at least!

Heroes Tavern by korvyashka 2016-08-30T18:52:00

Gathering funds for the next level and may the force be with me? :(

Cool music and art, nice idea in general - could adapted the easy part with low level goods to kept going a little longer before more expensive things started showing up.

Would also be nice with some extra mechanic to help you out rather than only clicking.

The Language of the Gods by ladybenko 2016-08-29T15:20:00

Nice graphics and lovely music! The usability felt good as it was easy to learn how to play.

That the game was so short and that there was not explanation to what was happening (or what that other voice was) takes the overall experience down a bit.

Unmapped by FiSilva 2016-08-30T18:57:00

Cool idea and nice graphics. I'd would've liked if "Quit" was renamed to "Done". Some music would've also added some extra coolness! :)

A cartography was quite easy after everything was figured out.

Alien B.C. by kapezit 2016-08-30T16:50:00

Even if I know clickers are pointless, I always love them. Nice alien art and nice that you added a non-clicker upgrade so I could get income from waiting as well as clicking. :)

Thanks for the game!

Trading Post! by Digitaldude555 2016-09-01T16:19:00

Nice idea and I like that you've put into so much functionality into the game. That all random events seems to cost money (no positive events as far as I can see?) is a tad boring and makes the looking for events a not such a great idea. Add music, fix the events and give the player more money at the start would've improved the game! :)

Topeka Jones: Raider of the Lost Temple by TeamKawaiiju 2016-08-30T17:33:00

Great graphics and atmosphere, amazing work so far! I agree that the xylophone puzzle was a tad too hard for so early into the game!

77 Years - A Game of Expansion by David Cookie 2016-08-30T18:04:00

Nice music and great art! 610, would be nice to be able to influence the game more than random chance. The single flint stops always ruined it for me :(

Mead Boy by blubberquark 2016-08-30T17:23:00

Cool graphics and art. I love that the cities are the real middle age cities and not just random names! :)

The input delays made the game quite hard and frustrating!

Ancient Ranger with Ultimate Technology by Kitkom 2016-08-29T20:14:00

Nice music and graphics!

Took a bit to figure out how I harmed the enemies with my weapon, though when I did the game felt a tad short as the victory was quite early?

What was that flying purple thing?

Matter of Survival by keln 2016-08-30T18:32:00

Difficult to learn, though was quite easy when finally figured out the combination. As long as you did Rabbit + Calm when good stuff and Snail + Rage if bad stuff it mostly went great. :p

Would've been cool to see how the game evolved when the tribe evovled with me as the leader.

LD37 — One room

SuperNinja by Kazik_210 2016-12-12T19:59:00

Hard to kill the enemies without getting hurt. I tried to teleport behind the enemies, but couldn't really avoid getting hurt. Cool game and nice looking graphics!

Shadow Realm by MAT4DOR 2016-12-12T21:44:00

Nice touch with dimensions! Took a while to figure out how to travel between dimension and lot of time to get the keys. Clever solutions and ideas for a one room game!

Room Loop by piwicode 2016-12-13T18:10:00

Adding the ability to use WASD as well as the arrows would've made the controls a lot easier! :) Cool game, great music, nice art and cool mechanics. Love the "rewinding"!

One Night by freyby 2016-12-13T18:19:00

Took a while to figure out how to buy the gun, also a bit hard to hit - I wasn't able to get the zombies down with my bullets even after multiple attempts? Great music and animations!

The Tomb by raconteurnick 2016-12-13T18:00:00

Nice story-line, love the wordings and that you've actually built a world around Death. Felt a tad Terry Pratchetty over the whole thing. A bit lack of gameplay, but the nice story more than well made up for it!

hoplitelite by Attrition 2016-12-31T14:02:00

Fun that you were able to make so much content and variation with so little game mechanics! I thought that level 7 was a lot harder than level 8.

the room by rogueNoodle 2016-12-14T19:35:00

Great game! Cool mechanics and I loved the music! Could've been nice with some kind of choice within the game. I liked the story.

Room 753 by local minimum 2016-12-13T19:13:00

Creepy game and gave me a headache! Didn't really figure out the mechanic of the last level, though did expect something more than a "The End" at the last elevator ride. Would I get another story if I went upwards rather than downwards? Great graphics! Was there a reason behind the cats and the people that appeared at times?

BewilderMaze by Meles 2016-12-12T19:56:00

Great graphics, cool music and even following the theme! Awesome creation for a compo contribution! :)

Cabin Fever by dlweatherhead 2016-12-12T20:07:00

I tried to find a key for the door for quite a while and a few restarts (I did not find a key). Cool graphics.

The Infinity Prison by Multiplexor 2016-12-20T12:07:00

Great music and a great infinity scroller. I thought it was fun. The first minute of story-mode was quite boring though, thanks a lot that I didn't have to repeat that each time I died! I got 17 sectors.

Open-Plan Office Distractions by Somnium 2016-12-13T18:04:00

Idle games are always cool, though always a tad frustrating about the lack of control. I like the movement of the ingame characters and a tad fun visualization of a project progress!

Cave Explorer by alexander0153 2016-12-12T20:12:00

The game looked great and with a nice mood! I loved the intro menu and how it was integrated into the game! That was awesome! I went down a few levels, but I didn't find any more weaponries than the sword you start out with? Could I upgrade myself, or was the goal mainly to collect rubies and go as deep down as possible?

Magic Panic by harusame 2016-12-12T20:02:00

I always like games where you play the villain! Nice music and graphics, great that you followed the theme. Nice game and thumbs up for Java!

Madness Mathematica by jusw85 2016-12-13T18:14:00

Great game! Was a bit surprised with the shake effects, made a great mood! Could've been cool with some multiplication, divisions and so on. Took some seconds before I learned how it worked, so lost a bit of time there the first round!

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Maurim: Unepic thief by bakudas 2017-12-06T18:33:13Z

I couldn't get the door on the third room to open? I tried a few times but always got stuck there with the treasure. :( Also I didn't find any menu or buttons to exit the game? Cool graphics, music and lovely thematics!

Kingdom Savior by tmpxyz 2017-12-06T18:37:50Z

Cool game! I love that you've actually put some time in adding the strategic component of attacking/defending! Great idea of connecting with the Ludum Dare theme!

Life & Debt: A Real Life Simulator by Krassenstein 2017-12-06T18:23:46Z

Was there a better income than being a programmer? Was a bit hurting to get two events at start at +10,000 debt each. Would've loved a speed button to make it go faster, as at this speed I think it'd take a few hours to win. The education debt of 40,000 was soul crushing.

DIM by guoboism 2017-12-06T18:44:06Z

Cool game! Some bugs are: If you are not in the middle at the first treasure you won't trigger the finish, but instead will end up dropping and stuck in blackness. At third map you can somehow get the lightning effect be permanently triggered so you end up in max regardless of what you do. Great graphics, audio and theme! Fun idea!

A Chore Too Far by MattDahEpic 2017-12-06T19:17:24Z

Awesome game and fun small games within the game! :) When the cellphone stops giving you missions, is there anything else that I could do afterwards? Loved the heart house with a companion cake even! :)

A Hero's Burden by muffty 2017-12-06T19:06:53Z

Amazingly much you've done in the short time period of Ludum Dare! I think this game was amazing and the only change I'd ask for is to allow the player to skip some dialogs if the player wishes to do so, otherwise, amazing!

Save_Starship_R2D48 by R2D48 2017-12-04T06:25:57Z

Classic space shooter with nice audio! Upgraded to 4 guns, though didn't seem to appear anymore guns after that? At least I died before I was able to get more guns...

Glutonny by Crock 2017-12-06T18:47:00Z

Fun game with nice ideas! When I won the game the curiosity text was very small and I was unable to restart the game?

Master Farmer by SlavicGames 2017-12-06T18:28:24Z

I would suggest to have a button or something that would trigger an appearance of the starting information when needed, the button combination for actions wasn't the most classical choice. Cool art (especially the wolves) and fitting sounds!

Slithering Secrets by meanmon13 2017-12-06T18:57:24Z

I liked the thematics and the art, the idea was great! though that I couldnt't see the slithering that hunted me, there were multiples of them and I didn't have any way to fight/prepare against them made the loss a bit random. Also I got stuck on walls a tad much. I liked the game a lot, so if just added some way to fight or perhaps hear the slithering that'd improve the game a lot!

LD45 — Start with nothing

Draconomics by CyberStarLight 2019-10-08T16:01:47Z

Cool game, love the sound, graphics and mood! Got very stuck in the game and even if I hadn't plan to play for long I still played the whole way to victory! Thanks for making the game!

Witchcraft: the Collecting by theufo 2019-10-08T15:45:03Z

Cool concept, took in the best parts from existing games. Would've liked if the game map and the game itself had some more complexity in them. Loved the opening of new decks!
