Haha! Great concept! I lacked some overall polishment as in current state the game feels bit rough but it was really fun to play! Good job

Haha! Great concept! I lacked some overall polishment as in current state the game feels bit rough but it was really fun to play! Good job
Nice concept actually! I really enjoyed this one, controls felt ok and smooth, graphics is simple but still pleasant and it was fun to play. Good job
Oh, too bad that controls are so f...ed up. Really nice FEZ-like graphics though :)
Sometimes I had feeling like the shooting isn't working even though I was standing on the edge.. Otherwise it was somehow fun to play. Good job
Really solid entry! Nice graphics, totally working puzzle mechanism, beautiful music! Well done, I've really enjoyed playing this game, especially the challenge mode :-)
Nice, I like it. I wasn't able to get everywhere so I didn't tried everything but I honestly didn't played enough -- but still it was nice experience. Nice graphics and animations too. Good job :-)
Well simple shooter with rather hard controls. I've got serious lags after while and I had to kill your game :-) You have probably some memory leak somewhere in your code...
Really great! Unfortunately I had to make my browser's window really small to get it working at some reasonable speed but still it was pretty good experience! Big + for the idea and theme implementation, nice simplistic graphics too.. Good job
Nice atmospheric game. It's been bit hard to find out how to play at first actually. But then it was really nice experience. Good job
Wow! Almost perfect! I've really enjoyed this entry and I'm gonna play more. Really nice graphics too. It reminded me actual terminal so much that I kept hitting tab and up arrow quiet often :D. So good job - now it's in my personal folder "Outstanding"!
This game needs more boobs!!! I'm requesting immediate update!
Now seriously: awesome graphics, game-play could be bit faster actually. Also it's hard to aim, seems like it shoots somewhere else than where is the mouse. But all in all good job :-)
Well, it's hard to lose if you're not IE only l̶o̶s̶e̶r̶ user. :-)
Well, the gameplay is too much slow.. And when I say too much I mean really really unbelievable slow. Too many round to get into some real action. This kills fun and ejoyability of your entry... On the other side game mechanics seems to be implemented well :-)
I have to say that I like the name of this entry more than game itself! :D Nice little puzzle game. Hyvä.
Haha, nice take on theme :-)
I found it somehow hard as aiming seems bit clunky but maybe it's just me :-) Otherwise the game seems polished, graphics is clean and nice. Shooting sound could be little bit more quiet. Good job!
Very tough or I simply suck at this :-) Nice graphics.
Nice little platformer. I gave up after I died because I was lazy to go from start again -- some checkpoints would be nice :-) But controls feels good and polished. Good job
WOW! I'm impressed -- I didn't expected so much fun! Everything is really polished! Especially the music (very catchy!). Game mechanisms are implemented perfectly as well -- maybe the hitboxes could be bit more better but it's only small complain. Graphics side is simple but pleasant to look (also reminds me Voxatron a little). Tutorial, progressing difficulty and learning curve are simply perfect. Very good job! I'm moving this to my personal "Outstanding" folder.
Wow, nice take on theme! The graphics could be bit better as this style distracts me a l̶i̶t̶t̶l̶e̶ lot ;-). Movement and controls are very polished. Good job!
18700 on first try. Seems polished as I have nothing to pinpoint from game play side. Good job :-)
@JayCee23: The reason that lot of people can't run it is probably that game is programmed in Java8. I'm basically too lazy to install that too (it's too new in Java world...) and I'm Java programmer myself. If there isn't much Java 8 related stuff in your code, you can try to compile it for 7 (should be really easy depending on your IDE) to support much more people ;)
The game time is progressing too slow. Also as there is not so much content the game get boring soon. But there is some potential, with some other structures to build I can imagine this as good innovative tower-defense-like game :-)
Well the game itself is too hard if you don't know the minigames before -- player will spend needed time to read the description and then he just dies. And one suspicious thing about your entry: Why don't you provided actual source codes? The ones you gave are result of decompilation!
Nice real-time implementation of dice wars. UI definitely needs some work though as in this state it's too chaotic to see what's really happened. But otherwise it's really good! If you're going to continue in development of this I would definitely like to play it!
Well, from the gameplay view it's not really fun to play because there is no motivation to continue playing. The screen is bit chaotic in the first few moments -> the player character is so small that I had serious problems to locate him at the first place. Controls are almost ok -- although some acceleration and deceleration would feel bit more natural to me. Music feels bit random (but using real guitar is appreciated!) and that engine sound doesn't make it better in any way!
Controls are not very user friendly as I got stuck to the walls quite often (after very very quick review of your source codes: you should be using CircleShape-s for moving things in this case IMO -- some nice effects after hitting the wall then can be created by playing with friction, damping and restitution. Also the walls shouldn't be made from individual boxes but from rectangles instead -- box edges mess with the Box2d collisions even if the boxes are seamlessly connected to form a rect -- hope this will help you in the future ;-). Also in my opinion everything (like movement speed, shooting speed) could be little bit faster to create fast paced feeling of the game. Anyway, good job.
Ok, I got stuck in the main dimension as I was unable to craft anything useful and got little bit bored by trying several combinations. Maybe some "clue" would be helpful here. Otherwise the engine seems somehow complete for the purposes of this game so good job :-)
Solid entry. The movement seemed weird but once I get used to it I loved it. The gameplay is actually pretty good. With some shooting enemies this could be really funny game with good replayability. Also **** for the imaginary "Uncommon Technical Solution" category! Good job :-)
Nice little roguelike. Oh, I've just checked your generator gif and I had to do Innovation++; Really cool idea which is not really obvious when there is fog of war ;) Good job.
Audio didn't worked. Unfortunately movement feels bit clunky as it's been really easy to get stuck. Graphics is almost ok as for me the palette (colors) seems inconsistent. But I liked idea of the game :-)
Yep. It's too slow as others are saying. Take as proof that I'm writing this while I'm waiting for $$$. And only thing I've done so far was building one house. No one likes to wait like this.. (I've just built another one.. still have to wait :-/ Some challenge would be nice too (e.g. build some monument or so). The engine seems ok, so next time try to aim towards player experience more ;-)
Wow, really enjoyed this one! Great job -- I don't even know where to start. So graphics are amazing (i especially like the style and palette), with combination of these minimal sounds they create really unique mood! (...lost in memories of playing Beneath the Steel Sky...) Only the texts could be skippable on demand.. we are not in 90's anymore :) I'm bookmarking this into my "outstanding" collection and I'll have to find these another 2 promised endings! (got 3rd on the first try)
Definitely interesting idea! As others I would prefer faster movement. Also it's bit overwhelming at the beginning because I was unsure (i couldn't remember) what certain colors and shapes do to each other. But good job! (and small bug at the end: probably if the player already won, this result shouldn't change as the side effect of simulation progressing on the background ;)
Graphics and GUI is really polished, good job. But gameplay experience actually lack some challenge after you deliver your first or second box. If you tried to show us that cargo guy has boring job, you've succeed. But in that case I will prefer game about shooting the bad guys instead of indefinite cargo delivery.. ;-)
Nice. Controls feel good and it's not pain to move around and shoot at all. Also the graphic style is polished and it looks good. But two things: some kind of checkpoints would be nice and it freezes sometimes (without exception, numbers keep going in terminal)! Then the game has to be restarted... Good job anyway :-)
Actually didn't finished it as I lose at Breakout... :-/ But I had somehow similar idea with my game as I can see :-)
c̶r̶e̶d̶i̶t̶s̶ rating will do fine!
Pretty minimalistic. I think it needs something more to spice it up as it's get boring in this state quiet soon :-)
Nice! Polished entry, controls and effects are creating really satisfying experience I think. I've found only minor bug -- if you're standing directly next to the left wall, it's impossible to shoot. But otherwise I really like this one! Good job :-)
Oh, I really, really love the moose animation/art! Wonderful.
Polished shooter, but not very innovative in any way. Controls feel ok to me, overall feeling is good too. Some powerups would be nice to spice it up a little :-)
Linux build is obviously working ;-) I tried to play, but I had to turn it off after while because nothing was happening! I've collected three pixels, shoot one bad guy and then.. nothing -- for at least minute or more. Because there is music included it's more like that situation when you're calling some service and they play music back to you while you're waiting :-) So, my advice: focus more on the gamer experience next time, nobody likes to wait.
Very minimal, but I like it really much! Unfortunately it's too hard for me. Nice adaptation of the theme!
Can't run this on my linux desktop as I'm getting NullPointerException.. Interesting lines from stack trace (seems like you're setting window title incorrectly):
java.lang.NullPointerException
...
at org.lwjgl.opengl.Display.setTitle(Display.java:541)
...
at game.src.main.Main.<init>(Main.java:48)
at game.src.main.Main.main(Main.java:171)
Well, orientation is bit hard for the first few plays -- I've fell off too many times. Also I really don't like waiting so long before the first snowflakes appear. Otherwise some bigger challenge is missing -- just "try to survive as long as you can" gets boring after short while. But still it could be decent start for something bigger ;-)
Gameplay is bit flat, but the intro really got me! Interesting art style and concept too. Music becomes repetitive too fast, but it's not too annoying. Really good job on the humorous side :-)
Pretty solid entry actually. I liked both -- the puzzle part (which was kinda easy) and the story part (which was wonderful). Nice graphics too, good job!
I really like the concept of this! Mainly because I like innovative games and secondly just cause it really reminds me mine entry a lot ;-) But it lacks some challenge -- like something what makes the game more replay-able or just enjoyable. Also the camera is just too close to main hero in my opinion. All in all it's very good job for your first entry overall ;-)
Pretty good! As I'm not usually fan nor player of the endless runner genre I found this precisely implemented and actually quite challenging! Good job with audio and graphics part :-)
Game idea is good, so the first three puzzles -- unfortunately I was so disappointed by going back to level one that I didn't finish. I like hard games, believe me.. But this is too much :-D
Really nice entry with great graphics! When I figured out how to play I got into it for while.. :-) But lack of detailed instructions is biggest spot of this.. Also it seems like last constructed building gets destroyed first which is unfortunate in later parts of the game. Good job though.
I really liked the audio. Actual gameplay -- the level is too confusing, some decorations on the walls would be super. I've also had problem to find keys and plates, maybe because I was lost all the time :-D...
Controls are fine, nice graphics and it has overall quality.. Next time try to include the theme into your entry and it's gonna be really good ;-)
Great, but little unfinished. I really liked the graphics and music, actual gameplay seems bit clumsy. Units should be spawned/created faster... Some better explanation at start would be helpful too. Other than that it's really great entry, good job! :-)
I really love this style of graphics! Great audio which fits the mood just perfectly, great puzzles (I didn't need any help with them and I think that difficulty is just right - wish I could say same thing about my game...), neither original nor innovative story but fits the theme. Controls seems and feels bit clunky, but that's only a minor spot. Great, wonderful entry again. I'm impressed! :-)
Really polished game with amazing load of content. Movement is little bit slow, but in every other way this is really gem. Good job :-)
Pretty different than most of other games. I actually didn't read this particular short story yet so I'm unsure how to rate in the Theme category. Game itself definitely needs some polish - like now the controls are very confusing, some text are unreadable when that day-window pop ups and so on.. But it has some really weird and unique mood -- so if you are working on some expanded version I just hope I'll be able to play it ;)
Ok, this is pretty normal platformer with some clever ideas. Enjoyed this :-)
My, bit silly, diagnosis: mb54aht
Controls are ok, pity that it lacks some audio! :-)
Nice, but puzzle mechanics need some work - it's not really user friendly now (swapping of tiles for example...), and sometimes the piece just disappear without reappearing!
Couldn't catch him unfortunately.. But I liked the graphics style of this, good job :)
Well, that was fantastic :-) Great idea, combined with even better execution. Great graphics too! Pity that it's so short, but that's just minor spot. Good job!
Not very innovative but precisely created platformer. Nice graphics too :-)
Good looking entry. I've had to read the manual first, but then it was fun.. :)
Nice idea, but actual gameplay is bit too repetitive/flat - maybe some different paths for enemies or multiple enemies at same time would made it more enjoyable.. :)
Wow! Pretty impressive! It's too easy so there is no challenge.. but this is just small stain on overall great entry! Really good job on this!
Simple game with no innovation, but implemented well. :)
Yep, very polished game in every category :-)
That beast in 666 killed me with tail with so little life.. I had to actually quit the game to spare my poor keyboard from destruction in rage... But I really had fun :-)
Really nice audio and graphics, gameplay is bit flat on the other side :)
Nice! Reminds me that flash game where you have to dig into the hell.. I've expected more games like this when I was reading the theme :-)
Wohooo! That was fun, I really enjoyed this until the end! The controls and gameplay are both perfect.. It's bit easy and I don't know if it's actually complain :) Missing character sprites is the only but unfortunately pretty visible stain on this great entry. Good job! .... I didn't expected such a boss! :D
Flying whale crashed to the moon, and the ship was pushed into the black hole. :-)
Interesting take on the gameplay/idea, I've enjoyed this :)
Clearly unfinished but it seems like there was some potential. The moving sound was really irritating :-)
Ok, this is really polished.. only thing that bothered me is that combat sometimes take forever.. Good job overall :)
It's too hard and repetitive in my opinion. Controls are ok, graphics too. :-)
First game I never made it back, second and third I actually did, but I wasn't able to collect proper amount of resources to refuel and upgrade myself.. I think that I would be pretty bad director of asteroid mining company with that results... :D Overall nice entry
Bit laggy on linux. Gameplay is like good old wolf3D, but mouse destroys that feeling for me.. Anyway good job. :-)
Wow! Now I know why there is Innovation column. I really enjoyed this, great execution. :-) Couldn't get past level 4, but I'm gonna try it once more..
And they say that my game is hard! :D
Nice graphics and great audio! Actual game is too easy, but has some potential :-)
Ok, I suck at this :-D Only 475.. Interesting game mechanics!
Pretty solid entry! I enjoyed this, great concept and interpretation of theme.. It was hard for the first time, but then it's just pure fun.. Didn't actually managed to kill'em all.. last 19 people was in plane when their last city exploded :-/ I hope they enjoyed that orgy for repopulating their planet...
Well, this genre is not my cup of tea and I get bored fast.. I still enjoyed the graphics :)
Movement is bit weird, and that sound when you rotate the cube was very irritating :) Otherwise it's nice to have 3d-bomberman style game!
Well, that's original take on theme. But my score didn't get saved :( Still, I enjoyed this.
Really original experience! I also liked the audio.. all in all, good work for 17 hours :)
Also I really enjoyed that 'video' you used as inspiration, thanks for sharing!
Amazing and wonderful! The combination of graphics, music and of untold story makes this The Game. I've really enjoyed playing it.
Couldn't beat the boss, but it was fun little game with nice artwork and feeling. Good job.
Wow! Great racing game here! Too hard for me, but still .. i was trying at least for 20 minutes.. Good job!
I like surreal and psychedelic games. Only complain is about moving -- it's truly confusing.
Wow, these memories... Seems like my second disc is scratched, can you send me new one? :D I really enjoyed this, good job!
Well done, I've almost leave this game after second try as I didn't know there is fighting system :) But then it got different meaning and I was playing this for 20 minutes or so.. got to level 15 and unfortunately has been swarmed there immediately. Really great entry, amazing gameplay and graphics!
That's really original! Maybe you should consider animating the scene before completion as moving object add difficulty and non-static scene is just.. much more prettier :)
Well, this is nice entry.. Unfortunately I've seen only half of every dialog - center of text dialog wasn't placed in the middle of the screen , but rather left side was in the middle.. so I've seen only half of it with other half being offscreen. (Linux, standard notebook resolution: 1366x768)
But still I really enjoyed this :-)
Well, it was quite fun indeed :-) I noticed that you can have more ants on the same square, so they usefulness depends on how many are them on that "shared" square. Also it lacks some goal or some threat for the ants.. But all in all it's good entry.
---
A taky zdravim sveho krajana ;-)
Well, I can't get through the jumping down in the darkness.. I just can't, no matter how I try :( But it's definitely very polished entry, audio in 48h version is great and I really liked this. :-)
Well, I've made it. From the gameplay view it's just a maze, but as curious person I looked at the code and I'm impressed that it's only awt/swing and custom renderer. Really nice job from technical view!
Well, it lacks some deeper concept or better fight system - the current is too random :)
I didn't find the exit and the best way of dealing with these ghosts seems to simply escape. Some music, even simple would be great next time ;-)
Wow, that was really fun! Nice pixel art graphics and great overall execution.. I've lacked some way how to remove my imps (other than let them die) from board to replace them with some other guys though :)
I can't click on anything in menu, clicks are being ignored... :-( (Linux)
It's too slow, but this gives it special feeling. I also like the music and it's transition during the world changes. But I can't see the theme connection here.
The repeating sound in later levels is more than irritating :-)
Well, as other says it's too repetitive after while.. Animations and music are really great :)
Simple and relaxing - only later levels were little chaotic. Check out my libGDX+box2dlights game if you are interested :-)
Some powerups would spice it a little.. but good job anyway :)
Actual game gets repetitive pretty fast. But main character is looking great and music is simply wonderful :-)
(What's use of military submarine if it can't take down ship with torpedo?) Not really outstanding game but it's playable :)
Sprites could be just a bit larger, but despite that it's really good and somehow catchy!
Well, pretty minimalistic indeed.. It has to be really funny with more than 2 players :)
The cake is a lie! But it's nice looking ;)
Ok, highscore 8 means that I and my touchpad sucks at this :) Anyway shooting on the "down" side of screen seems weird behavioring (and I know that I have to click in opposite direction..)
Levels should be more diverse but in other ways it's nice game. Good job
Start -> ..click on anything..

It really lacks some ambient, underwater music. But the actual game is implemented well and controls are smooth. I've also made game using libGDX and box2dlights, so look at mine if you are interested ;) Good job
Most innovative game I've played this LD so far. It's like take on snake with moving food and ghosts from Pacman! :-D Nice graphics and really good job!
Awesome - fantastic art, sound and mood overall!
Really nice and polished graphics and gameplay! Wow. I died a lot first.. I definitely have to try this in coop mode. Good job!
I liked the audio part most.. The game itself is too short imo :)
Nice and moody! Enemy cells are too powerful in my opinion. But good job on this :-)
I had same idea (avoid the light) implemented in my entry :) I think that falling should be faster. It's slow even in insane.. Reasonable speed makes the game looks dynamic :)
Nice, but seems too easy.. Maybe it should be little bit faster imo :) Good job.
Nice graphics and outstanding music. Good job
Nice, I really liked the whispering sound and music.. Some bigger help on the start would be great :-) Good job
Really polished! And also good to see another libGDX based game :-) Really like the 'surface' screen graphics ;)
Applet isn't working for me (Linux, UnsatisfiedLinkException when linking some library...)
SuperPokeunicorn: As wav isn't compressed it's big.. but I guess you can convert this to some reasonable format and update the jar (let's call it typo :-D ) -- see bottom of the page: (MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep.)
The first message in the game reminded me Pink Floyd's Echoes :) Pity that game itself is too short and kind of repetitive :)
I know that it's Mars, but still -- it's too slow. Also shooting through obstacles? Why not.. :-)
Really hard -- the guy could be just a little faster :) Nice job overall.
Nice audio. Unfortunately in current state the game gets repetitive soon :)
If it was finished little more, it could be fun. Next time you will do better, believe me ;-)
Yup, html version is slow. I liked the feeling of this, pity that it lacks music. Good job anyway :)
It took me some time to figure that I have jetpack. Pity that it's unfinished and lacking some objective. Next time.. ;-)
It was frustrating to not see character because he was behind the edge (or beneath the surface? :D) sometimes (bug of firefox?). Didn't finished it.. :-/
Weird.. I was living even after I was killed X times :D Seems bit unfinished to me :-)
Nice, I actually liked to play this :-) 65 on my first game.. I've been hitting wrong buttons all the time when direction changed.. :D Good job on this
Seems bit unfinished :-)
Yeah, I'm slow with touchpad.. :) Simple game, but playable
I don't see how it fits the theme. Camera is really weird -- if it was intended (for player's confusion) it works but don't do this ever again :D.
Wow, interesting idea! I have to pretend that I'm splited personality though -- I didn't have friend to play with but I really like the idea behind this :-)
Well, the idea is really nice. But the simulation seems to go mad sometimes. Also first few levels are too easy and later ones are too frustrating (there isn't chance of perfect move). Liked the music :-) Final score on my first game: 164
Nice and hard as hell. Good job :-)
Nice and enjoyable, a like the graphics and overall mood of this. Good job :-)
Nice little game.. movement is bit weird, actual gameplay is fun. Good job :-)
Wow, really great and deep gameplay. I enjoyed this. Good job :-)
Interesting way to solve playing background music :D Actual song is too short a gets repetitive pretty fast. Game is simple but playable. Nice :-)
Nice idea, but the actual platforming is horrible :-/ It's too slow, jump doesn't feel right and overall it's not elegant. That click sounds when walking don't fit the music really well too. Graphics is relatively nice (I'm not pixel art fan but this seems ok to me..) Next time try to concentrate on the gameplay element first :-) I'm sorry that I was so critique and I wish you better luck next time.
It's too minimalistic and too unique simultaneously. Nice experience, but it's not really game imo :-)
Simple but playable tower defense clone with nice music. The manual movement irritated me a little.. Good job :-)
Wow, this is really cool. Good job!
Interesting idea :-)
Nice take on this concept. Really moody, great controls. Enjoyed this :-)
Nice little game :-) Have you ever heard about dining philosophers problem?
Controls are hard to get used with.. but gameplay is good, sounds/art are little weaker though. But we know that's all about judging.. :-D
First time I just killed everybody.. :-D And it was still fun when I realized that's not necessary.. Nice game.
Nice.. sometimes I'm really mad at myself when I don't read instructions.. but I figured that out and enjoyed this. Levels are hard but it's still fun :-)
Didn't saw that sandy background as on screenshots in firefox 25, instead only black.. Other than that it was playable. Nice music, graphics and controls.. gameplay is little bit repetitive :-)
Controls are weird and it's not really motivating to play further. Birds are nice, but it desperately lacks some background. Don't worry, next time it will be surely better ;-)
Whoa. Nice concept here.. I like almost everything in this game :-)
Ok.. I should be studying Turing machines, complexity theory and hundreds of lemmas for Monday's exam... You probably really good know what I'll be doing at Monday... :-D (it's sad actually)
Nice shooting mechanics, but after few levels the fun was over for me.. :-) The actual game is good, mechanics too but I somehow prefer more puzzle than action based platformers. Good job.
Bit confusing on the start as I was unsure how to fly.. But I figured it out.. Good simple game :-)
Wow, nice! I really enjoyed this, great and innovative idea on the field of roguelikes, at least for me. Roguelikes were always about imagination -- but I somehow failed to imagine how head with only one arm remaining move.. I have to try harder I guess.. Good job :-)
Nice dungeon but too repetitive after while in my opinion.. Scored 2600 :-)
Really nice, I enjoyed this.. Maybe little too easy, but I know that creating good and balanced levels is really hard in such time. Music is repetitive but I noticed it only now, when I'm not concentrated to the game anymore -- it's not problem because of the short length ;) Good job
Very surreal and dark! I love these pixar-lamps (owned one as a kid, bought another one from IKEA when I needed new furniture on college few years ago :-) Unfortunately for this otherwise great game the movement is really wicked -- I fall through solid floor few times, somehow wasn't able to jump over sometimes a when I had luck to avoid this control-related problems, these *** guys cracked my bulb :-) I was feeling like I'm gonna SCREAM...
Nice graphics but I think that controls need some improvement - I think they make the game less enjoyable. (Didn't tested post-compo as I'm on linux machine.. maybe it's fixed there so ignore this then :-)
Scored 1790% :-) Liked the graphics, and humorous side of this.. although gameplay needs some balancing (too random now). Nice entry.
Just some advice -- too long help causes that most of people don't bother to read it.. next time try to optimize the length ;) I liked this, but I thought that wizards are smart and aren't constantly trying to kill themselves :D
Nice :) I have to use cheat after I stuck in the dungeon on my first trip.. but it's really enjoyable :-)
Well as noted above me.. the idea of doing the same again in level which is easier than last time.. isn't enjoyable/fun for long ;-)
Nice little game, but hard... :-)
Interesting idea, not so interesting game unfortunately :-) I think that something more action-based (realtime?) would be better/funnier for this type of controlling... just my thought.. :)
Really great entry.. I gave up because of saving spots are in previous room and I didn't have patience to doing same level again and again to die in another and went to the previous hell one more :) But I really liked this otherwise..
Really liked the audio and graphics.. This style of gameplay isn't my cup of tea though.. but overall it's nice :)
Couldn't find the start button at first :)
Really nice and polished.. way too easy and I didn't get how the theme was used.. but overall it's solid :)
Somehow I've got more than one arrow sometimes :-D Still it doesn't helped me a lot.. :-D But cool entry, maybe just the soudns are too noisy and uncomfortably 'attacking'.. at least for my headphones..
That was chaos :-) I realized how to play after about half minute and then just clicked almost randomly as I didn't found better strategy. Managed to get 853 of these bastards down. This blood stains make the battleground little bit chaotic though.
Good idea and nice execution.. I got stuck in the box though :-)
Wow! I enjoyed this really deeply. I don't think that movement in labyrinth is confusing too much (maybe little on the beginning, but I've found the principle very soon). But this is very unique game, I'm glad I found it and was able to play&rate this :-) Really good job.
Well I don't know much what was happening but it was nice :-) Next time try to explain things like what's harmful, collectable better ;) I like it otherwise.
Really cool entry.. I like the graphics really much. Audio effects are sweet too, but it's lacking some music.. just wind is too monotonous after a while. I tried If there is double jump in first wave only.. discovering that it's not possible I wasn't trying it in later waves. So there should be some mention when you obtain that ability (only discovered it after playing when I read the description). But good job to all of you, it's really polished entry :-)
It's bit laggy in firefox.. Collisions are very forgiving. I liked the variety of enemies :-)
Nice little game! I liked the overall atmosphere of this. Controls are bit weird sometimes, but nice job on this. :-)
Little bit repetitive, although the jump mechanism seems ok. :-)
Never thought I would be killed by headless chicken, not even in game! :-D

Works on linux ;) Graphics is nice.. it's hard to aim precisely at least for me.. also I managed to threw my only rock to darkness and then was really painful to get it back :) Good job otherwise
Levels are hard, even the first one (later ones are slightly better imo) :) But as preview of what is your engine capable of doing it's great
Enjoyed this :) Controls feels great, shooting too.. I hated when these elves or whatever it was jumped from nowhere right onto my head.
The controls are weird.. Other than that it's nice.. :)
This was funny! I liked the music, the game mechanics.. only that chat on the end of every level bothers me a little :-) Also tried seed 42... :-)
59250. Simple principle but smooth game mechanics. I don't feel that soft gradient lighting looks great with rough pixel art graphics that you used for sprites. Audio is good :-)
Well, sometimes the robot break just after being dropped on the floor. Most of the time I've just won the battle on points after doing no damage to the opponent.. weird
Awesome! I've really enjoyed playing this. It's not the most innovative game under the sun, but the game mechanics are very well implemented, graphics and music are great too. I didn't get how it's related to the theme but after reading description it's now clear to me ;) and I personally like your "one sprite" restriction. Good job!
Well, can't get through "And it scares me" room. I also don't like this too simplistic style of art -- but I must admit that fits well with the music.
It's little too short, but nicely done.
Nice but short. Even I was able to fight monsters, they won in the end..
It runs, but I only get 1x1 window which cannot be resized to some reasonable size :-/
Nice simple game. I immediately remembered the famous Gimli Glider incident which I saw in Mayday TV series.. Did you get inspired by this? The flight number is almost the same :-)
Somehow I didn't see the theme here. And it's always better to interrupt action for while when player has to read something ;-) Anyway, nice job with making the atmosphere here.
Wow. I like the concept here and If you are going to expand it someday I'll definitely play it again ;) Humorous note: Do you know the feeling of sailing with lowered anchor? Took me about minute in my first game.. :D
Most of the time I got killed was because enemy bullets are not easily visible. Making them bigger or using different distinct color would be really helpful. Music and gameplay are ok though.
Nice idea - it's pity that blocks cannot be placed in mid-air, connected only to another block by their side - to allow building of gates/etc... Good work for 48h anyway ;)
The fighting is too slow to be funny repeatedly ;-)
Nice concept on roguelike ;-) I like the theme usage here but I found it little chaotic overall (mainly because of tiles visibility). Good job
I've enjoyed the graphics and didn't get past the big shark.. couldn't jumped over the obstacle in the right moment. I'm not rating the audio as all I heard was some roaring instead of music (first few seconds there is some melody - then only roar - Firefox 25). Sounds played ok.
Interesting kind of the game for this theme. Really like the aiming effect ;)
I like this simple cute isometric style. On the other hand gameplay is repetitive just after moment. The cake is a lie! :-D
Nicely executed! Played to the surprising end :D Really great audio + overall. Physics is almost perfectly balanced/set up for the time that you had. I'm impressed ;-)
Nice idea with the lights. It feels like the theme was surrendered to that a little bit. Graphics are nice, but I find character too inconsistent with environment (low on time?). Fix that, add some dark quiet audio and it will be perfect ;-)
Nice engine, but actual game is too slow for an action game. I didn't rated graphics though because of you disclaimer.
Nice. Sometimes it gets little bit chaotic because of colors and camera movement. :-)
Well, I completely suck at this. No wonder Dodo is extinct.. :-D Graphically it's nice, I like this simple style (only these spikes - they shouldn't be opaque). The game seems also memory hungry when the reset is clicked few times - probably some leak.
Very similar take on theme like me, but totally different game ;-) I like the character animation and overall art style. Gameplay is bit boring though - just clicking madly, holding run key and space smashing sometime.
Pity that there aren't more levels. The boomerang mechanic is interesting :-)
Somehow I've got only 10-20 fps from this, so I get bored pretty fast because of slow movement..
Somehow I can't get used to it.. Bounding boxes of objects (maybe just of hero?) are just too big and they prevent smooth moving imho. Maybe adding some speed would make some job too.. But I liked the music :-)
It lacks at least some music - one jumping sound is too repetitive after while. The idea of "run until you can" is pretty and nicely done but I had personally hard time recognizing how this game fits the theme or (at least) how checkpoint works... And then, suddenly game over... :-)
Nice! I really like the graphics and gameplay seems well polished too :-)
Nice graphics.. Like others say the jumping isn't exactly what I expect from jumping in platformer game :-) Good job
Really nice and really hard (maybe because I played it using touchpad).. :-) And the guitar song is just great. Good job.
This is really great and amusing. It's little bit bugged (at least for me) - old instances sometimes don't do what they did for the first time.. But 48h is really good excuse for this. Good job :-)
Nice! Seems little bit inspired by FTL and that's positive :-) I think the GUI is just too chaotic (for 10s based game-play) but I used to it after a while. Main song is cool so as game mechanics.
Nice graphics, some music would be great.. Overall good job :-)
There isn't much to do as I figured out after I've died due to poison and murdered everyone in village. But overall feeling is good, graphics is nice, so missing additional story/content is the only weakness. And I didn't hear any sounds, that's maybe another :-)
Nice gameplay and presentation! There should be some way to skip waiting, and to correct missed click (I know that's my fault to click on something else, but accidents happen...). Graphics is too much "ms paint", even it's done in inkscape.. I don't say it's wrong, or that I don't like it... but I'm not sure about it at least :-)
Personally, I find it too much repetitive, although the gameplay looks like fun first. I've got to (I think) day 5, then it wasn't fun anymore... :-)
Reminds me minigame from old "Duck Tales" game for DOS :-)
Well, it's clearly unfinished... I wish you better luck next time :-)
Nice idea, intro and overall atmosphere, but I didn't finished it due to lags :-(
Really great! Reminds me GTA II in some way.
Hilarious! :-D
Nice, it's little confusing even after reading the instructions first, but after I took the lock I got it.
Linux version is not working for me :-/
It seems like data folder is missing inside the archive...
Well done, I really like the idea of 10 second per turn in this type of game.
Nice graphics. The game-play and controls are really well polished.
After reading instructions I realized that.. Purple haze was in my brain :-D
Nice, I like the concept.. Also the introduction into game-rules is very well done.
Potato, potato, potato! *****. You deserve 6 stars for the audio though...
Reminds me TeeWorlds with Race or DDRace mode just without a rope :-) Controls are nice, movement would be great if the walls didn't 'lag' actually. It's pity that you probably didn't had enough time for more enjoyable graphics/audio. Good job!
Well, next time try to distribute your game with music in lossy format. That will not just reduce size of your game dramatically but maybe solve your audio lagging problem (just my guess) and so on.. :-)
Bounding-box of lemon is too big I think -- it leads to quick death of player. The 'score' screen seems to have really low FPS here, the game is running fine though. I really liked different weapons and their effects :-)
Particle effects are pretty, but the game itself is too chaotic.. it's really hard to see where your ship is on the screen.
Really nice work! Good choice of colors, really good implementation of base idea and that subtle audio fits the overall atmosphere well. My only complaint are the controls.. I can't really tell why but I can't get used to them.
Played with touchpad, so I was little bit slow. It's very disappointing when previously wrong crafted recipe don't hide itself when I'm crafting new item.. Otherwise good job! :)
That voice! :-D
Nice idea, but bit hard for me with touchpad. Good job
Great idea and theme interpretation
Nice idea. Gameplay is maybe too fast (but what did I expected from speed of light in vacuum?... :-). Game also crash after restart without any stack trace or exception.
Music is really nice, but you should definitely distribute it in some lossy format (to reduce download size). The game itself was little bit confusing (at least for me) sometimes :-)
Nice game idea :-)
Nice! Got killed on level 3, but I'll surely play this again ;-)
Zuper! ..err.. I mean super Z clone! Graphics, audio, gameplay, everything is really well made and polished. Just add option to play with better (harder) AI and it will be perfect. Good job!
The music is too short, so it's repetitive after a while. Also some explosion/fade away/... animation would be great for destroyed objects. Good job otherwise ;)
Wolf3D dungeon, nice! :-)
Good idea but the game itself really feels bit unfinished. Also the level-loading is somehow slow.
Nice graphics and story-telling, but audio is bit repetitive.
Reminds me good old lunar lander game :-)
Bounding-box of the travel machine isn't where it should be (it's not intuitive).. I've to repeat the game few times to actually jump to next level instead of game-over. But the idea is nice, graphics too. Good job :-)
Awesome, very polished. Graphics, gameplay and sounds fit together very well. I think there is nothing I can complain about.
Controls are good and responsive, but the door spaces are bit tight imho :-/
Nice pixelart :-)
Really nice, found it little bit easy though (maybe the cube shouldn't get HP back, it's outside of time traveling window anyway). Good job!
Nicely done! Obtained the treasure and got home in 8 days in my second play :-)
Nice! Similar interpretation of 'second' as in my game :-) And +1 for the Animal Farm.
It's bit stereotypical, also the screen is taller than my laptop screen :-/
I'm glad that I'm not alone who somehow managed to have ridiculously hard game! :D I really like the graphics. If you want to continue on this, some statistics would be really great (like how many times I've died in this level and so on...). Good job!
Nice use of theme ;)
Stuck forever on loading too... Tried on Linux in Opera 12, Firefox 23 and WebKit-based browser. :-/
Nice! I like the graphics and I hope there will be more levels to play after compo.. :)
The clock image ruins the overall pixel-look :-)
I would expect that when I click the item will fall centered, not from left corner ;). For other things I agree with Dooleus (although I wasn't using that 'food rain' glitch to make progress :-)
The way it's (hard)coded reminds me my own sources when I was 14 :-) Also, for future, keep in mind this: global variables are always sure way to hell.. ;-)
Nice graphics but the control/movement is little bit chaotic for me :)
It's working on Linux/firefox at least for me now. I almost had a heartattack when the "sssh-sssh-sssh" sound came out without any warning... :-)
There was no explosions too on linux and also after I blew i was unable to start again (the message "0 kittens saved, 0 drowned" showed immediately), so restart was needed. But it was fun anyway ;)
46! Fantastic idea, I hope that android port will be soon, it's perfect... :-)
Great idea, good job :-)
2396 ft. in the first play.. then I've dozens where I didn't made even one thousand :D
Awesome!
Little bit stereotypic, but graphics and sounds fits ok.
Chaos! :D
Nice! Look at my ShuffleLand, we had very similar idea :-) I like your implementation/interpretation.
Good looking and good concept. Pity there isn't other goal then the swimming :)
Great music. Maybe just few more save-points should be on your way... it's boring to go the same path after death many times. Really good work!
Great! I have only one tiny complaint.. it's too tall to my laptop screen resolution. It didn't stopped me from playing anyway! Best game I've played so far :)
I like the concept, it would be fun on tablet ;) Maybe the self spawning pieces on playground are little bit annoying.. there should be some visual warning before they appear on the spot imho. But overall it's really good! :)
I've to pack res/ folder into the jar on linux to avoid crash on startup. Movement is little bit annoying and the dungeon seems too stereotypical. But I really like the idea of fast-run through the dungeon :)
Too much chaos for me, i've got lost in game play.. but I liked the music ;)
Same as anserran, i've got about 1 fps on my linux machine...
Great concept, damned touchpad didn't let me finish last level in time :)
Game mechanics are good and movement/control is feeling right. Maybe little bit bigger resolution, we aren't in CGA era anymore :-). Well done.
The idea is good, main character's sprite as well :) I was little bit annoyed by bounding-boxes of enemies, they seem to be too big. Also key for quick suicide would be good If you'll be continuing on this game in future. But well done ;)
The problem with file 'data/sound/Hit_hurt10.ogg' should be on linux and OS/X. All Unix-likes has case-sensitive file systems (so file 'A.txt' and 'a.txt' are two different files). After renaming it's ok.. But I have only black screen with player?! After few steps I've got this exception:
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1
at player.Player.update(Player.java:138)
at state.InGame.update(InGame.java:299)
LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is (13)

Nice idea and perfect theme interpretation. Clicking on cars is bit harder than it should be, but I wasn't disappointed when I lost.
Monster Madness by Exploding Bits 2017-12-05T17:06:25Z ♥ 3
Nice artwork and listenable music. From perspective of game design, it lacks some deeper mechanics -- it's just too simple and too random (as it really depends on which card player gets). But all in all, good job.
@shrekshao: Oooh, you just completely ruined my Ludum Dare reviewing with that xkcd-inspired game... Thank You!

Oh, I guess this game better suit theme "Controls are pain." Like really, even when the puzzles are obvious most of the time, it's almost impossible to proceed because of controls. Dragging forces are too much sensitive. I managed to finish it, but in some levels I was literally in physical pain 😄
Shinigami by Mojken 2017-12-05T11:05:12Z ♥ 0
Well, this is really unfinished. But basic controls and mechanics seem promising, this could be probably fun, if implemented more completely.
Disco Asteroids by meisterfuu 2017-12-05T10:51:09Z ♥ 0
Unfortunately it's completely unplayable on my machine. Menu runs fine, but once in game it starts lagging (maybe 1 to 5 fps) and music is skipping. CPU usage is very low though. Maybe some inefficient shader?
Ninjewels! by FinalForeach 2017-12-05T10:29:36Z ♥ 0
Nice environment and visuals overall, but the collectibles should be more distinct. It was very easy to go past them unnoticed.
Robo Tomb by Xacur 2017-12-04T17:06:42Z ♥ 2
Controls feel bit wrong to me, but I'm not really sure why. Also when I start playing I tried to go full Bomber-man and place multiple bombs. Nope.. For me it somehow slowed down the pace of game to almost unbearable waiting. But then I had time to look at your polished graphics :-)

Wow, this is really complex game for game jam, and it's actually working. Good job! Of course I downloaded it, said myself that I'm not an idiot so I can play without reading instructions (who have time for those, anyway?), failed miserably, spent few minutes by reading all stuff in manual (side note: used font is fancy but bit hard to read) and in the end I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Obviously this took lot of work, so again, good job. And don't worry (or at least not much) about people who says it's too complicated/difficult or anything along those lines. Maybe I'm just too nostalgic, but sometimes I simply daydream about times when I was about 8 years old, knew literally about 20 english words, and been trying to figure out how to play some game for days...

Ok, this is a masterpiece! I got to the end in about 10 to 15 minutes and I'm not sure If I always solved the puzzle in intended way.. but hey, I had so much fun while trying! I also like this simple and clean visuals, controls seems odd sometimes but I got used to those misbehaving squares 😄. Also solid game and level design -- most of the level parts/objects/mechanics were intuitive but still challenging. Really good job here. On the side note, Linux version would be cool. I managed to run it under Wine though.

Lasers are really hard to see [edit: oh, i noticed it can be switched to gray/darker -- that's much better] and it could be just little bit slower. General idea is nice though.

Nice graphics -- it feels little bit like Binding of Isaac. Controls could be just little bit better - for some reason they didn't feel natural to me. And when the music is over, the sounds are gone too. I blame those devils 😉.

Completed all three levels. Gameplay and controls are pretty straightforward, well done. Only the hit boxes seems to be little bit too unforgiving. And I still hear those noises with the xylophone track in my head when I'm typing this (It's not that they are bad, but I feel like I'm after lobotomy even I played only for 5 minutes) 😄.
