Awesome graphics! Found it hard but not frustrating as there's no punishment other than you're losing time. I heard the death boing a lot! Had minor collision issues BUT that didn't detract from the FUN
5* for audio. Immediately fantastic. Graphics 5* this is a brilliant concept and really fun. I'd like this on my iPhone please!!! Make it so.

Loved your little guitar tune but the hiss hiss of my jetpack got a bit annoying. This had the upside of making me use it less and doing better at the game though! Nice mechanic and I like the inertia or momentum whatever it's called. Also really like the style you got going on!

Got the theme perfect for me. Also great music where it is. So 5s for both of them! Needs tweaking probably on the level design like you say and perhaps the jumping mechanic. This is the first game I've actually got to the end of since the first Mass Effect I think!!

I like this! I really like how it gets tricky when you know you need more red guys to exists but you don't want too many as they keep turning your blue guys red again!

I just want to say THANKS genuinely for all the feedback :) I'm still trying to get the hang of everything so just that anyone thinks the concept/art/anything is even remotely good is awesome to me. The overall standard on here is great so I really respect everything that everyone has said. I'll be uploading an update version with a bit more 'game' to it hopefully by the weekend so please check back if you thought it had promise. Thanks everyone.
Quick question. Well, 2 actually. 1: I'm working on adding bits to this leading up to the weekend, I've got 2 control schemes working. On this version the bees follow the mouse pointer, but I've also got it that the bees just fly where you click when they're released then buzz on back to the hive with or without pollen. Does anyone think one is better than the other? Also quesion 2: is there a way to upload a 'post-jam' version with my new enemy sprites and actual gameplay mechanics in the game? Thanks everyone
Forget the lawnmower I'm ripping that out. I have an idea for a game that actually has a purpose to it. Might work, might not. I plan to have this ready for Sunday so check back then.

AWESOME! This is my favourite game so far and I've tried quite a few! Love the graphics, love the gameplay, addictive, fun, cute little sounds, amazingly cute fox, captured the theme. Great concept! I 3 planets at once is pretty tough I think I kept my third planet for less than a second. Great fun!
Reminded me a bit of Smash TV and stuff like that. Good fun with the XBOX pad, found it a bit awkward with mouse but I was just being lazy not plugging my pad in!

Your write up sounds brilliant so there's clearly a good idea here! I found it quite difficult to work out what was going on but I can see the potential.
Good job in such a short space of time. Really to see something different and thoughtful. Now I'm just sad thinking about what's going on while I'm sat here playing games. If you're thinking of expanding this I'd like to see where you go with it! Also I thinked you've nailed the theme, I wish I'd been able to interpret it in a similar way.

I thought the difficulty seemed about right. Really enjoyed it and it's a great little idea
I enjoyed the game. I particularly like how you're forced to stay inside the level but the enemies come from everywhere. Made it really tense when you'd backed into a corner and gave it a really good dynamic.
Erm yeah. When it changes unexpectedly it was genuinely awesome. Great mood. Doesn't need the fun, could be amazing given more time!

Hi I like the concept and the graphics and sound are nice and suit it. It gets a lot more interesting as it goes along too which is nice! Clearer and easier to play in colour on the post jam version too so a good update to it

Great concept, found it a bit frustrating just because I found it difficulty to identify which I was controlling. Maybe have colour around the one you're controlling? Really liked the sound and you've added nice visual design to it and like I said it's an innovative concept.

You can control, wind, rain and the height of the land. This is all you need, have a play around. Lakes currently only go 2 deep and also you only get 1 tree at once for free. Seeds don't spread themselves.
Thanks guys :) yeah my plan is to leave it alone for 2 weeks while I play some games and then develop it more from here. Really hacked in a lot of the code so it'll need a lot of work to build on it!

Has a nice look, good clean graphics. I like the concept but I'll have had more fun with it if you develop the controls a bit to make it more fun moving around :)
I love how it starts with that song, love Mike Patton's cover of it (never heard the original being uneducated swine). This is at first bizarre and then brilliant, love the mood.
This is the most relaxing game ever! It looks so beatiful too I think I could just keep playing this forever...
I like this idea and it looks pretty when it gets evolving. I didn't get any sound though, playing the windows version. I really like the idea of evolving soundtrack and you're not wrong about it getting harder! Really fun when you have to rush between 2 growing colours to get to the end bit, maybe make this happen more by giving you a timer to get to the next colour?
Really good, love the concept and the art. Only thing that wasn't great was when they walked off the bottom of the screen at times so I couldn't see if they had short legs, but other than that I really enjoyed the game!.

Hi I really love the graphics. 1st go I didn't realise mutating meant I couldn't capture more nodes so had to start again! I'd like to see what this becomes when you've done more to it.
I really like the mechanic of changing colour to be camoflaged (spelt that wrong?), great work for your first jam.
If you develop it further I'd try it out with lots of enemies that you have to avoid but a lower percentage of them chase you the closer you get to the colour of the background. Maybe you can eat them when they can't see you? I don't know, I think this idea's got legs (pun - sort of).
Anyway, knowing that I had to get to the right colour did a good job of making me scared while I played because I don't know how to make most colours!

I think the concept here is really good. It would be good if you could hold down click for watering and I like the idea you've said of starting with nothing, maybe just some seeds. It'd be cool if you could have rarer and rarer plants that are worth more and more.
Really well put together I loved the difficult controls! Not sure about the rabbits though man, rabbits are evil they should be allowed to be shot by spaceships!
Good sound on this one, found the cats annoying because they kept walking away from the food. But maybe that's what real cats do and maybe I'd find them annoying. Anyway, it was still fun!
I shot bullets out of the sky!!! You panned the sound of the shots!!! Really had a load of fun with this. You've captured the simplicity of a space invaders type game and kept it fresh and fun. Great work!
Hey this is a really good start! Work on the technical side of things and get the movement and controls feeling good and you'll have the start of a great game. The game has a really good retro style that I think could be brilliant if you add more enemy types and add in some behaviours for them. Great work so far though in just 72 hours!
I loved the controls and the physics have a really good feel to it. I found it difficult at first to work out if I was doing the right thing but it made sense to me after that! Good improvements on the post compo version too, I like where this is going!

Hi, great graphics and a really professional game all round.
Really fun! I love me some bullet hell! Good graphics and sound, found it tricky to hit the aliens, maybe they could have set patterns of attack and increase their number so you have to dodge more things but they're easier to shoot? I like the take on them evolving between each level depending on how well you did too, it made me want to go for the orange guys more but I found it too hard to pick who I wanted to kill!
The visual design of this is fantastic. And I like the song. I also like the way that how everyone plays it makes a difference overall too. Could do with a bit more to do in game. Playing on a trackpad it was hard to control at first but when I'd hit a few of them they all seemed to go in a line and I didn't have to move so I sat back and listened to the pretty song :D

I like the music and found it nice and relaxing walking with the dog. For a minute I was thinking it'd be nice to have a dog irl but then I lost it and realised I'd be a terribly irresponsable owner and decided against it.
Great relaxing mood to the game and got a pang of loss when the little fella ran away. Might be nice if you had to stop it chasing cats or throw sticks or something but it's got a good mood to it as it is.
Love the graphics, love the movement of the minions and the mechanic is good too. Got a similar feel to a tower defence game but without all that waiting around nonsense.
I'd maybe like to have something where different traits are better against certain enemies and a way to select who rallies to you if you do develop it further (maybe with groups you make though so you can keep the random ability splicing) -- get tweeting links to this after you've had your extra week on it!
Love the idea, found it a little tricky to control. I felt compelled to see how it developed but after a while my repeated deaths were too much for me :( - still, great innovation and excellent take on the theme.
The jam version really improves a lot on the compo version, I like the idea you've got behind it and I can see it being really compelling if you get chance to develop it even more.

I like the difficulty, their being hexagonal makes it possible to slip behind them. Didn't even think about moving forward until the boss (me) came out. Nice graphics and fun.

Love the music. Loved having to work out how to play it but I think it could do with just a little bit more feedback for the player. Different sounds perhaps or something else to hint at what is happening.

I don't know if you've had this as feedback already but perhaps making the cursor change when you roll over the clickable area and having some feedback so the player knows the click has been registered would help the game a little
I like this. I found it quite easy though just spamming the hero with monsters near the entrance so it might be worth thinking up ways to increase the challenge. Great start though!

Theme and graphics totally nailed. The game's really fun, the mechanic works really well and the levels are really well put together. That last room was pretty rewarding to get through and the little ending you did was great :D

Hi. Biggest plus points for me were the little touches like the cape and the particle effects. As well it's really fun and I like the online score table! I need to learn how to do that!

I'm want to play, rate and comment at least 500 games this year, then I'll start working on a more interesting version of this after the voting has finished - I spent most of the time getting the feel right on the balloon and polishing once I'd got the basic gameplay in, then I ran out of time!
Also PRO TIP #2 = remember you can still move back if you overshoot slightly. Just make sure the mouse is all the way left to get the most sideways movement that way!
Awesome in pretty much every respect. Clever little puzzles although I did just click them all for the dojo guys :S but come up with more of these scenes and I'm pretty sure you've got a hit on your hands
This IS good, just needs a bit of tweaking to make it tougher and to actually kill the player (I just seemed to leak blood). A more developed version of this after the jam could be a really great game.
Haha it's kinda like a super speeded up version of ice fishing v at least in the visuals and the mindfuckingness of it all!

That was great! Reminded me a bit of Revenge of The Sunfish, but more focussed. Really love the art in it, kinda reminds me of Michael Brough in a way. Good work on the audio too, it was suitably unnerving.

Really good attempt for your first jam. The through the walls thing I found by accident but it did spoil it a little bit. Fix that and it'll be a really good little game - the controls are good and it'd be good if you sort of hid the enemy and made it a bit more maze like so you're desperately trying to seek him out before the time runs out!

Great presentation all round! Pretty tough going but short enough to not ever be frustrating! Got distracted trying to work out what the songs were hinting at...
I like the graphics (particularly the robot and the that background you've done is awesome) and LOVE the music like I think it's the best so far or close to it! Controls are a little bit frustrating, could do with working on the game feel in the post jam version and adding variety and difficulty to it.

IBS is a serious condition and shouldn't be made fun of ;) funny idea and really good art in this one. Plays well too although it's a bit trial and error once you get to level 3 and the city

The collision is a bit brutal on this one and the controls are a bit strange but it's a really good idea and I like the art style a lot. It's a shame the main guy is blurry though because he looks like he's drawn really cool.
I like the presentation and the idea behind this. Controls could have done with a bit more work (key controls and restarting with a click is something that I always try to avoid for example)

I like the simple art style but I'd suggest working on the feel of the controls as they were a bit disjointed. Otherwise a good solid game though, the music was nice too.
Awkward collision, and the controls could be more intuitive but otherwise a nice difficult and fun game.

This looks great and the sound is awesome. I'd like it if it was possible to switch the order somehow during the run through so you can keep builders safe at the back or pull people forward when you need them. Could turn this into a REALLY cool game that I think I could play forever.

It's like Billy Hatcher meets the light bikes in TRON! Feels nice to control although my fingers kept slipping to WSAD frustratingly. Really nice presentation, I like the look of it, particularly the fence you build looks cool. Great game!
This is fantastic! Love it. Great controls and awesome idea and it looks great too! Post jam version could do with the absorbing of other boxes being tweaked. Found that a teeny bit frustrating on later levels. Will be playing through again when I've got more time. Really enjoyed it and would play a 100 level version of this no questions asked (and pay for it, October challenge hint hint)
Good game, felt it needed a bit of work on balance (for a post jam version) as I ran out of money. Good use of the theme too having them self destruct and needing to click on them. Sounds will help with that too as I lost track of what was about to run out.

Love the graphics, especially the animations and the little touches like jumping over the table, and it feels really nice to play. Great idea for the game too, the 10 second thing almost holds it back. Would work really well as a slow planning puzzle game.

AWESOME. I loved playing through that sad little story. Great idea linking the goals of each little part with the narrative. Fantastic entry, just needed better controls and collision (and maybe voice acting hehe) but everything else was perfect and all fitted together amazingly well.
I like the music for this. I like the idea of only having 10 seconds in each room too, put the pressure on. Could do with the shooting being tweaked though as it didn't seem to fire at the mouse pointer.
AMAZING SOUND! Also really well put together and nicely polished. This on my phone would accompany me in every queue I ever queued in.

Wow I escaped Robot Planet with literally 0.6 seconds of air left! Great game. Loved it. Felt like a panicky roguelike. Awesome presentation and sounds were in particular good, loved the breathing. Amazing level of polish with the different effects and little touches you've got. Up there with my favourites so far. Could have done with being a bit more difficult as I was fine except for the last mission. Overall though, my summary has to be: LOVE IT.

This looks and controls great. Very in depth game. I couldn't find asteroids for a while though so did a lot of floating around.
Couldn't work it out for a while, but the music was beautiful and kept me playing for long enough to sort of figure it out. Top score audio and mood for me. Don't worry about bugs, they add 'challenge' ;p

Looks really nice and the audio is good (apart from the sound of the 'narration') and I like the concept of this. I haven't played through it enough times to get the full narrative. Perhaps if things changed more between plays it would encourage people to replay more. I don't know, a good idea though it just needs a little more development and it could be a great one!

Ninja Convention was awesome. I love the polaroid mechanic in this it works really really well. A 1 player mode would be a great addition as my wife is a much better gamer than me and a bad winner and rubbed it in everytime she beat me.

Good idea, and those fishes look really cool. I liked the music too, but could also do with some sounds to tell you what's happening (whether you are taking in the breath or slowly drowning) if you decide to develop it further.
This is aaaaaaaaalmost the best game ever. So simple and satisfying yet challenging and nervous. Tweak the control and make it so you can somehow plan ahead, add bonuses and combos and I will throw my money at you until you drown in paper and metal.

AWESOME. At first it sounded like the wizards dieing in Chaos and then I laughed out loud at my landing.
Graphically this is fantastic. The ripple of the water on what is beneath is a lovely touch. I do think it misses out not having the audio, but time constraints are pretty tight on this!

Good level design and I like the drill mechanic, works well with the levels and I can imagine this being great if there's more chance to cut your own route. I think the controls and collision for the jumping could have been a bit more forgiving
I really like the idea of exploring and particularly the idea of probing the creatures. I think this is a good start and a really interesting idea that could grow into something awesome and unique.
I know it's not there now but I can see there being a really cool art style to go with this too and really nice music to soothe you through the game.

This a really cool mechanic, good graphics and music and the level design is really clever. Would have been useful to have a quick restart button for each level as I managed to get stuck on one (I pushed the crates against a door but they needed to go on a switch).
A good concept, cool screenshake when the subway train goes by :D Would have been cool if was like an extreme maintenance man with a jet propelled screwdriver launcher...

I like the movement controls, it feel nice. Would have been cool to shoot with right mouse button instead maybe. Found no bugs but got a glitch on the 3rd level where the little people kept bouncing in and out of the walls
I like the idea of investigating to get 'beneath the surface' and the look of the game is good.

I like the idea of this, I'm a bit of a city builder nut , but I think the mole people needed to be a bit more random where they go. After I placed some stations and had no money (well, $200 but it won't let you place another then) none of the moles walked past my stations :(

I'd tweak the controls as they can be a little unintuitive but this is a nice take on the Lucas Pope formula (similar to both Republia Times and Papers, Please) but I find this kind of game VERY compelling. Awesome music, and nice graphics too.
The landscape looks cool on this and I like the little trails on the ground. Would have liked a more automatic weapon (although probably because I click my mouse all day)

Best so far! Simple game but it's so funny, I felt myself giggling as I whacked them and fled. Looks nice too, I like the art style and the scale shift from the bottom to the top, which works really well. The music and style of the sound fits perfectly too, although got a little repetitive (clearly because I played it for much too long).

I love Metroidvanias with all of my heart and this is a good one. Graphically this is just beautiful, amazing style and cool animation (particularly that idle).
If you're developing it I'd maybe add a little 'invisible step' to the edge of the platforms so that you will fall off, but can jump for a split second afterwards.

I love the concept behind this and I like the graphics. I found it a little easy as once I got to shooting down 4 lanes I could pretty much just hold fire and sit in the middle. Great starting point though, could easily be expanded into something awesome.

Beautiful to look at the gameplay is fun (I love a rhythm action game). Music works really well with it too, the way the buttons on my gamepad corresponded to the way the instrumentalists were positioned in the band was a nice touch.
I did have a problem that there were only 2 groups of tourists, so once they'd gone for pizza there was nobody else to lure into my cheese and tomato trap.
I'd perhaps make the levels shorter or have tourists coming out of shops. Maybe a mechanic for later levels would be having people that you DON'T want to go to the Pizzeria.

Great concept and beautiful art/music. I felt that the stuff filled up a bit slow and I found it a little hard to not get swamped by clouds (although I see comments saying it's easy so maybe I'm just terrible)

I love 2d characters in a 3d space! Looks pretty nice here too. I really like the mechanic you've got too. I'd focus on the controls if you're going to work on it a little more now the jam is over.

This is pretty cool, reminds me of old games I used to play as a kid on the BBC Electron at school haha! Took me 3 goes to defeat him, where I found glove, soap and WRENCH - classic ;)

I like the look of this, particularly the colour scheme! Found it a bit difficult because of the speed of the enemies and not having a lot of room to move around, shooting them helps obviously!

The graphics are really simple and nice, really like the look of it. The way the craft controls is, in my opinion, fantastic. It reminds me a little bit of Lander, which is a game I love. Took a while to work out where I was supposed to go though

Really great art, music is great but sound is a teeny bit annoying! Really like the concept and it's pretty fun, but the enemies took too many hits to kill I thought, especially with the way you don't have great control over where you shoot.
Definitely a great entry though, very well put together and awesome concept too.

Brilliant! Presentation all around is fantastic (except that the spikes should probably be bright red and angry so I know they're going to hurt me). Really great fun to control, although I'd like it a bit more zoomed out so I can go everywhere really fast!
Didn't need the little story introduction, worked well enough as just controlling a weird eyewall.
Also, could probably do with some easier levels to ease you in and a few places where you can really have fun with those fantastic movement mechanics you've got in there. Bumping into things costing HP and moving costing HP felt harsh (but probably the bumping more than the moving).
In summary: Awesome. I would pay money to play an expanded and tweaked version of this.

Love your drawing! The soldiers looks particularly cool. The sound and music work perfectly with it too. Really good concept. I couldn't see my score on screen though and it'd be good to have it get harder and chuck something like a high score table in there maybe?
This is super fun! I think, if you're going to expand it (which you should because throwing people around feels really great already), maybe try some sort of mission system. It'd work as a high score attack game too though, which would be a lot quicker to implement!
I actually think this is pretty great! Controls really nice and it's fun whizzing around and dodging. Would love a bigger level and some kind of scaring mechanic to make the enemies run away. The ghost looks cool too, I don't know if it's the lighting or what but it looks really cool.

It's a good concept, definitely worth expanding on post jam. I'd work on trying to make it clearer what do to and how to do it, as I had a bit of trouble working it out at first.

Nice art and a good concept. Could do with a bit more of a tactical element, as most of the time just hitting Magic 1st and then finishing anyone left standing off seemed to work every time.
It got stuck after using magic a couple of times too (on web version).
Overall an enjoyable entry with a nice look and the sound fitted well with it too.
Things blow up in a really satisfying way! Lighting is good and the shadow of the player looks great. Could do with a bit more to do in the game and some sort of goal, but a good start.

Good implementation of the theme, with a nice framing to why you're doing what you're doing. Graphics and audio work really well together and I was compelled to keep trying to get everything even though I didn't ever manage to!

You've got a simple art style that works amazingly well! The design of the monster is great. The whipping and stomping is fun as it is and could definitely work in a bigger game.

I am confused and delighted at the same time. This is a good thing. I'm pretty sure you could get this on Steam Early Access and sell it for at least a year before people realised you weren't actually adding anything to the game.

That audio is crazy! I like the mix of mouth sounds with crunchy 8-bit sounds. Theming is good too, red hot chilli peppers always make me breath fire too!
Apart from the text being a bit fast and hard to read when scrolling, this is a good effort. Original premise and unique presentation (and SPOILER - nice twist)
I like the swish of the tail and the way the blood splatters is really satisfying! Movement is nice and smooth. Bit tough to dodge enemy attacks but you're very generous with the HP so it's fine!

Good idea - the art was a bit mixed up with some nice bits (trees in particular). Nice AI with the people going to get their arrow back and also shooting each other by accident.
Would be cool if you killed them quicker and grew, shrunk and moved faster - a good start though.
Stupid dynamite! Was fun that. Very much liked the excessive blood and screenshake when I got the machine gun!
Yey the world was saved by me! I like the feel of the flying, it was really nice to control. I'd love something with movement like this with a massive beautiful world to explore (if you could just make that for me that'd be great).

Well made overall and the 2D art is great and looks cool in the 3D environment (although I'd have gone with a plain floor/ceiling sprite so you can't tell that the stationary objects are turning). Really neat sound effects too :D
For 10 hours this is a really good effort! I'm a bit fan of snakelikes, oddly addictive for something so simple, nice job!

That was brilliant! Live an evil adventure game and reminded me a bit of Don't Stave (because all I seem to do in that game is pick up bits of wood).
Would definitely be great to expand with some more puzzles and some puzzles with a few more steps to them. Enjoyed what you've got so far though.
I am not American, but I know who this Donald fellow is. I think the sound bites work really well, but was a little too complicated so I was trying to hard to concentrate on what I was doing rather than taking in what was going on (if that makes sense?)

I like the look of the game but it literally ran for a couple of seconds, told me my nest had been defiled and then wouldn't respond to any click or key press.
Tried again and it ran for 10 seconds before doing the same. I've not rated yet because I have a feeling that this is something to do with me playing it on my old laptop (which is not very powerful) so I'll try it again once I can get on my PC at home!
Good simple game. Bit confusing at first that the things I threw went straight down from the monster rather than from where I was holding them. Overall it's great fun and would play this on my phone forever I think.
Art imitating life. You basically made a clone of life. I'm not sure I can condone that.
Must remember to make sure I get an early night rather than going out for tea with my barbaric 'friends', lest I get forked.

You've got the GTA look spot on (except for the buildings but that makes no difference).
This game needs to exist as a proper game. A GTA/Rampage mix is such a great idea. Gets really hectic when you get the helicopters and jets coming for you, would be funny if their attacks on you killed people.
My only downside is I felt like I had too much health. I took a lot of helicopter shots before I got anywhere near dead.
Could add in loads of cool stuff, like charging up the sprint to send cars and people flying and knocking down buildings. Not sure what you'd implement by way of a mission structure but I think this would definitely be awesome as a fully expanded game.
I love the movement and it looks truly amazing. Please work on this more! It was nice just moving around :)

Great entry! Loads of fun, looks great, sounds great and has a good feel to it. Definitely reminded me of Luftrausers in the way the new enemies were introduced. Would be awesome with little missions and also would work nice on touch devices I reckon

Really cute graphics (although the different pixel sizes looked a bit strange) and cute little story. Not too short, just right I think - played through twice because I found it hard to read and jump at the same time (but that is not a criticism, I'm just no good at multitasking)

Great idea, but hard to control. Couldn't turn sometimes while walking forward for some reason, so felt a bit frustrating when I ended up as a deadsquatch so many times!
Presentation wise it's really good, I do love a low poly aesthetic :D
