I had real problems moving. The keys just wouldn't direct the character properly...

You explored a mechanic that is a difficult undertaking and pulled it off and made it look good and most importantly, be fun to play! I really enjoyed it.
A really novel game mechanic. Really enjoyed it. 5/5 for theme.
Love the co-operation mechanic. Cool low poly graphics, too.
A+
Really good idea, really well executed. More!
Is this number one good game? Yes! Amazing.
Great to see some webGL :D
Once you work out the best approach its easier. But there seems to be no way to win. Gets to the point you just cant click fast enough!
Thanks for all the great comments! I agree with you! It really needs a quick respawn with more lives. Going to the title screen does become really tedious. Might look at adding some more lives to make it more playable in the next week or two.
The XP exponential ramp got very steep, very quickly. Bit to steep for me.
So fast! Amazing smooth scrollies! Graphic prowess! wow.
Very cool game. I found I hard to start it a few times. The screen would sometimes go all green or orange at the start and everything would disappear. Had to restart a few times to get it going.
The best I've seen so far! Really well done. The only things needed now are polish things like on-boarding. I had to come and carefully read the instructions to work out what to do.
Couldn't play. Just a black screen. Nothing happens. Google Chrome on Linux.
Runs great on chrome on linux! was good fun!
Good, but too short! The other guy fell of the bottom of the screen and then I was left looking for more prey!
OMG. online mutiplayer. quite an achievement.
burrowed myself in a dip and just shot them as they came in :D
Really slick. Expansive. Liked the music a lot.
No cursor key repeat! much frustrating!
Graphics are glitched on Chrome but works well on firefox.
Great for first attempt at HTML5 + JS
Fascinating gameplay. Very cute colourful graphics. Just needs some sound and music to round it off.
The wry sense of humour in the story is great. I really want to sit at the fire and cook Erasmuses (Erasmusis?) head and read poetry? Is that possible?
Also good walk cycle and breathing monster animation.
OMG! Did I just play what I think I played? I think I've been one of those guys following Stallman before! I was waiting for a Saint Ignucious reference, or some role for toe jam. I successfully destroyed a couple of server farms before midday. Feel pretty good about that! Great game.
Oh wow. That's really different. Interesting how I can move the player, but they also have a life of their own. It's like meta control. Great old school graphical effects with the 2D squeezing and pixel doubling. You get used to seeing the same old unity engine over and over so its refreshing to see something so creative. Very nice.
Didn't Vote cause it didn't run. Firefox or chrome on linux.
The bullet bouncer is amazing! Really fast and fluid graphics. The camera shake is a little too intense. There was no sounds for me. So couldn't rate you on sound.
Had some fun here. So wanted to build units, but couldn't.
One of the greats.
This is amazing for 10 hours. A good serving on fun!
Didn't run on linux x64.

Web version wouldn't load. Blank white screen (with unity links)
I'm gonna go against the grain here and say I didn't like the music. The guitar playing is not tight and drums sound like ice cream containers are being hit. You can switch the music off, but when you die it starts playing again and you have to switch it off again.
Other than the music, good game!
Yep. Deep existential dread.
This is one of the best games I've played this LD. I want to learn to write games like you. The ramping is fantastic. Only thing is I totally maxed out my powers, and got to the point I could destroy the player in seconds every level, but the game never finished, I just racked up more and more dough! Amazing work, though! A+
Just needs score and health. Good effort for the compo.
I couldn't catch the kid once! I am able to dash to where he is and grab him but it doesn't seem to stick. I tried and tried!
Cool game. I really enjoyed it.
that was fun. good work.
When I get to "The prince is confident and he is fine", It loads forever, displaying "Loading..." Good graphical style. Sad I cant play it.
Highly polished. Enjoyed exploring the degrees of freedom in the game rules, but soon worked out the hook to winning constantly. Very nice.
Urotsukidoji?
How do I buy the tombstone? Maybe some text instructions on the ludumdare page just for us non RTS players?
Chrome Version 44.0.2403.155 (64-bit) on linux. Game doesn't launch. Just text screen. Oooh and I wanted to play this badly! :(
Particularly liked the cool voice sounds.
So many bodies to eat...
A unicode game with no snowman! It has a good feel to it.
What version of Java do I need? I get the following:

OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.79-b02, mixed mode)
cool forest simulator.
Wonderful!
do too many lice kill the plant? I had trouble finding the sweet spot.
The music is great!
Great fun and super slick.
can you shake the ants off, or do they just fall off with time?
Awesome progression. Very cool idea. Browser game. yay!
Couldn't launch. On Google Play, I click Install and it Errors with: "You haven't accessed the Google Play Store app (the white shopping bag icon) on your device with this email account."
Really simple idea that works really well. Surprisingly hard. Perfect theme fit.
Jumped all the way to the top but couldn't go further. Would be nice if the sprites were animated or the little guys you come across dis something or were killable?
153 Megabyte download, expanding into a 610 Megabyte folder. Bit excessive, isn't it?
Linux d/l ran fine with libsdl2 installed. Frame at times was very low. around 3 fps. But it looked and sounded very nice.
I like the control. the pause as you choose the direction of the next section. Then shooting off like that. You can get quite good with practice. Water drops were fun.
Web version: I can't move through the forest. I like the pixelart lumberjack.
The plant is great. The spawning and growing leaves. the twisting of the trunk. Found myself just staring at it. Maths is beautiful.
Really slick, simple and fun. Good work all of you.
Very atmospheric and enjoyable.
Cool take on an old classic.
Fantastic. Good lateral use of theme. Polished and playable. Is a little bit difficult.
Windows only :(
Masters at work! Truly amazing work.
Drugs are bad... mmmkay?
First game of yours that doesn't work for me. Just a black screen. Checked my flash is working... all your old games still work. So something has changed...
Just to provide more info. I've checked the network tab in chrome and the .swf is loading successfuly. It just doesn't start once it's loaded. The console doesn't report any errors. No idea what's happening.
Much download.
Really liked the graphics. Good job.
Is this your first LD? Your user profile link 404's. Anyway good work for your first LD. The fact you got an entry in with 12 hours is great. It just needs more work in it. Movement is clunky. Sometimes when you reverse direction suddenly he just turns and pauses... and then walks a second later. And no diagonal support. I'm sure you're well aware of this and no doubt the time was the mitigating factor. Good effort!
The drifting is awesome! Confirms my belief that this LD was a bad theme choice.
the shape shifting is glitchy. Might be easier with that stuff to do something much simpler, like just flip the sprite, or make a transition like a animated puff of smoke or something to cover it.
How do I play the Web version?
So minimal and simple yet so complex and challenging.
I got a lot of re-play value out of this. Was good fun!
Nicely playable.
I like the old school flick screen design. Groovy tune. I'd really like to move diagonally, though.
Beautifully fluid. An hypnotic interactive nuclear dance floor.
Where's the source code?
I always find these games hard. Love the silhouette graphics though.
