LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Compassionate Action by Larzan 2015-04-21T11:45:00

I had real problems moving. The keys just wouldn't direct the character properly...

Duck Attack by ehtd 2015-04-27T06:19:00

You explored a mechanic that is a difficult undertaking and pulled it off and made it look good and most importantly, be fun to play! I really enjoyed it.

Miroir du Mort by graebor 2015-04-23T01:30:00

A really novel game mechanic. Really enjoyed it. 5/5 for theme.

Truly magical cat by Yozz 2015-04-21T00:47:00

Love the co-operation mechanic. Cool low poly graphics, too.

100 Dollars Unicorns by td2tl 2015-04-21T12:33:00

A+

Sam On Tape by fluidvolt 2015-04-25T04:44:00

Really good idea, really well executed. More!

Badass Inc by deepnight 2015-05-10T13:47:00

Is this number one good game? Yes! Amazing.

Monks: The age of reason by carlmartus 2015-04-20T15:12:00

Great to see some webGL :D

Castle Cake by RaysAndLazors 2015-04-21T11:42:00

Once you work out the best approach its easier. But there seems to be no way to win. Gets to the point you just cant click fast enough!

Marty Funk by retrogradeorbit 2015-04-22T07:03:00

Thanks for all the great comments! I agree with you! It really needs a quick respawn with more lives. Going to the title screen does become really tedious. Might look at adding some more lives to make it more playable in the next week or two.

Stoned Scarecrow by gillenew 2015-04-21T11:57:00

The XP exponential ramp got very steep, very quickly. Bit to steep for me.

Kitty Wings - html5 web- by Buko-Studios 2015-04-21T01:22:00

So fast! Amazing smooth scrollies! Graphic prowess! wow.

The Amazing Fart-Man by fixedgerald 2015-04-21T01:06:00

Very cool game. I found I hard to start it a few times. The screen would sometimes go all green or orange at the start and everything would disappear. Had to restart a few times to get it going.

Clashy Clouds by NCBRdev 2015-04-25T07:29:00

The best I've seen so far! Really well done. The only things needed now are polish things like on-boarding. I had to come and carefully read the instructions to work out what to do.

Super SALT Helmet by DarkwindMedia 2015-04-21T01:23:00

Couldn't play. Just a black screen. Nothing happens. Google Chrome on Linux.

Terraforming Blues by jordinuco 2015-04-21T14:46:00

Runs great on chrome on linux! was good fun!

Pillow Fiiight by BoiPichu 2015-04-21T01:10:00

Good, but too short! The other guy fell of the bottom of the screen and then I was left looking for more prey!

Grand Piano Zombie MMO by fndy 2015-04-21T12:43:00

OMG. online mutiplayer. quite an achievement.

Ants by cgmorton 2015-04-21T01:00:00

I keep running out of ant spray. Seems like winning/losing is mostly just luck.

DECKED by SolarflyStudios 2015-04-21T01:15:00

burrowed myself in a dip and just shot them as they came in :D

ScarKrow by Carduus 2015-04-21T12:13:00

There's still some life in Flash! Good work.

Chaos Tomb by Dietrich Epp 2015-04-25T06:57:00

Really slick. Expansive. Liked the music a lot.

A weapon for our freedom by polegar 2015-04-20T15:08:00

No cursor key repeat! much frustrating!
Graphics are glitched on Chrome but works well on firefox.
Great for first attempt at HTML5 + JS

LD33 — You are the Monster

Slime Feeder by aeai 2015-08-25T01:25:00

Fascinating gameplay. Very cute colourful graphics. Just needs some sound and music to round it off.

They Call Us Monsters by TakeNapEveryday 2015-08-25T01:01:00

The wry sense of humour in the story is great. I really want to sit at the fire and cook Erasmuses (Erasmusis?) head and read poetry? Is that possible?

They Call Us Monsters by TakeNapEveryday 2015-08-25T01:02:00

Also good walk cycle and breathing monster animation.

Stallman Quest by n42k 2015-08-25T14:22:00

OMG! Did I just play what I think I played? I think I've been one of those guys following Stallman before! I was waiting for a Saint Ignucious reference, or some role for toe jam. I successfully destroyed a couple of server farms before midday. Feel pretty good about that! Great game.

Monster Night by gmaker 2015-08-28T13:18:00

Oh wow. That's really different. Interesting how I can move the player, but they also have a life of their own. It's like meta control. Great old school graphical effects with the 2D squeezing and pixel doubling. You get used to seeing the same old unity engine over and over so its refreshing to see something so creative. Very nice.

Gargoyle Simulator by Raspadsistema 2015-08-25T14:01:00

Didn't Vote cause it didn't run. Firefox or chrome on linux.

Vampire Sandbox by goodpaul6 2015-08-29T05:05:00

The bullet bouncer is amazing! Really fast and fluid graphics. The camera shake is a little too intense. There was no sounds for me. So couldn't rate you on sound.

LD33 - Overlord by Latency 2015-08-25T14:35:00

Had some fun here. So wanted to build units, but couldn't.

Delicious Cortex by deepnight 2015-09-12T09:38:00

One of the greats.

Tourette's Cop by lukepilgrim 2015-08-25T13:57:00

This is amazing for 10 hours. A good serving on fun!

You'll find the monster when it's over by pi_pi3 2015-08-28T13:26:00

Didn't run on linux x64.

You are The Monster by Ranivier 2015-08-25T01:03:00

Web version wouldn't load. Blank white screen (with unity links)

Inokan by gillenew 2015-08-28T10:06:00

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say I didn't like the music. The guitar playing is not tight and drums sound like ice cream containers are being hit. You can switch the music off, but when you die it starts playing again and you have to switch it off again.

Other than the music, good game!

Neverending Forest of Beasts by dosmaen 2015-09-04T12:55:00

Yep. Deep existential dread.

R-ADIUS by MrTwister 2015-08-26T00:57:00

This is one of the best games I've played this LD. I want to learn to write games like you. The ramping is fantastic. Only thing is I totally maxed out my powers, and got to the point I could destroy the player in seconds every level, but the game never finished, I just racked up more and more dough! Amazing work, though! A+

Detritus by d3garcia 2015-08-29T05:08:00

Love a good kennyart game! My GGJ game this year was kennyart!

Mr. Chompy by samreid 2015-09-01T01:02:00

Just needs score and health. Good effort for the compo.

kid.isCaptured by RobotMeal 2015-08-29T14:16:00

I couldn't catch the kid once! I am able to dash to where he is and grab him but it doesn't seem to stick. I tried and tried!

Tiny Sad Kraken by Erlend Aakre 2015-08-25T13:49:00

Cool game. I really enjoyed it.

School Adventure: Neighbourhood bully by Stepmaniafin 2015-09-02T08:31:00

that was fun. good work.

Tale of the Descendant by glerikud 2015-08-25T01:10:00

When I get to "The prince is confident and he is fine", It loads forever, displaying "Loading..." Good graphical style. Sad I cant play it.

Kraken Babies by johnhattan 2015-08-25T14:11:00

Highly polished. Enjoyed exploring the degrees of freedom in the game rules, but soon worked out the hook to winning constantly. Very nice.

Tentacle Rescue : Summer of Love by Casper 2015-08-25T14:38:00

Urotsukidoji?

Escape by geekygenius 2015-08-25T13:31:00

How do I buy the tombstone? Maybe some text instructions on the ludumdare page just for us non RTS players?

bloody tentacles by zuurr 2015-08-25T01:13:00

Chrome Version 44.0.2403.155 (64-bit) on linux. Game doesn't launch. Just text screen. Oooh and I wanted to play this badly! :(

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Frank & Stein by Thomas Olsson 2015-12-24T14:19:00

Particularly liked the cool voice sounds.

Robot Frost Eagle and Worm Big Rescue Adventure by sP0CkEr2 2015-12-17T01:06:00

So many bodies to eat...

Grow Heart by chr15m 2015-12-15T11:30:00

A unicode game with no snowman! It has a good feel to it.

Collider by DMinsky 2015-12-15T11:58:00

Great graphics. Cranking tune. Really great style. The frame rate was really poor for me for some reason compared to other games which made it really hard to control.

Grow Trees...or something by Gamepopper 2015-12-15T13:53:00

cool forest simulator.

Folkk by Kalinka 2015-12-20T09:24:00

How can I harvest the wheat. I just builds up and up. I've built a mill. It still builds.

Major Tom by OberynMartell 2015-12-23T04:36:00

Wonderful!

Grow by Dimitri0xFF 2015-12-17T12:48:00

do too many lice kill the plant? I had trouble finding the sweet spot.

Ourobos by SinclairStrange 2015-12-17T13:40:00

The music is great!

Barber Chop by AngrySquirrels 2015-12-15T14:58:00

Great fun and super slick.

Eat and Run by Rudenko 2015-12-15T11:50:00

can you shake the ants off, or do they just fall off with time?

Grunnist by Alpenter 2015-12-15T14:15:00

Linux d/l only contains one file. You run that file and it says:

Set current directory to ./Downloads
Found path: ./Downloads/Grunnist.x86
There is no data folder

Cupcake Snake by samreid 2015-12-15T04:05:00

Awesome progression. Very cool idea. Browser game. yay!

Super Stones by lebrokholic 2015-12-15T07:50:00

Couldn't launch. On Google Play, I click Install and it Errors with: "You haven't accessed the Google Play Store app (the white shopping bag icon) on your device with this email account."

Flower Power by RikkyPikki 2015-12-15T11:46:00

Really simple idea that works really well. Surprisingly hard. Perfect theme fit.

Crystal Quest by Belug 2015-12-15T14:53:00

Jumped all the way to the top but couldn't go further. Would be nice if the sprites were animated or the little guys you come across dis something or were killable?

153 Megabyte download, expanding into a 610 Megabyte folder. Bit excessive, isn't it?

Protoplanet by Benjamin-L 2015-12-15T14:11:00

Linux d/l ran fine with libsdl2 installed. Frame at times was very low. around 3 fps. But it looked and sounded very nice.

Grow Up by alexander0153 2015-12-15T14:35:00

I like the control. the pause as you choose the direction of the next section. Then shooting off like that. You can get quite good with practice. Water drops were fun.

Zombridge by danthedev 2015-12-17T00:42:00

I like how the bodies just pile up and up. Lovely inkscape graphics. Also I love HTML5 games. So easy to run on just about every device ever. Well done.

Lumberjack by samsquanch9 2015-12-19T03:18:00

Web version: I can't move through the forest. I like the pixelart lumberjack.

Venus and the Flies by fractalbear 2015-12-17T13:48:00

The plant is great. The spawning and growing leaves. the twisting of the trunk. Found myself just staring at it. Maths is beautiful.

Snow World by Elisée and friends 2015-12-15T14:32:00

Really slick, simple and fun. Good work all of you.

LD35 — Shapeshift

The Long Night by Husky 2016-04-19T08:24:00

Very atmospheric and enjoyable.

Tetrift by bradleypollard 2016-04-19T08:20:00

Cool take on an old classic.

Super Jelly Blaster by adcrusher 2016-04-18T14:19:00

Fantastic. Good lateral use of theme. Polished and playable. Is a little bit difficult.

ShapeShift for Cheese by Adipson 2016-05-09T11:49:00

Windows only :(

Splitter Critters by GertJohnny 2016-04-19T08:48:00

Change the Formality by Dooskington 2016-04-18T05:20:00

Drugs are bad... mmmkay?

Sub Dragon by deepnight 2016-05-04T10:34:00

First game of yours that doesn't work for me. Just a black screen. Checked my flash is working... all your old games still work. So something has changed...

Sub Dragon by deepnight 2016-05-04T12:12:00

Just to provide more info. I've checked the network tab in chrome and the .swf is loading successfuly. It just doesn't start once it's loaded. The console doesn't report any errors. No idea what's happening.

Best Game Ever by TheJJ100100 2016-04-18T01:34:00

Much download.

The Mind of Marlo by rodobodolfo 2016-05-03T14:23:00

Really liked the graphics. Good job.

Pizza Thief by szahn 2016-05-09T10:25:00

Is this your first LD? Your user profile link 404's. Anyway good work for your first LD. The fact you got an entry in with 12 hours is great. It just needs more work in it. Movement is clunky. Sometimes when you reverse direction suddenly he just turns and pauses... and then walks a second later. And no diagonal support. I'm sure you're well aware of this and no doubt the time was the mitigating factor. Good effort!

Drift Shift by Bailman03 2016-04-18T05:43:00

The drifting is awesome! Confirms my belief that this LD was a bad theme choice.

Taymishi the shapeshifter by Genpaku 2016-04-25T14:29:00

the shape shifting is glitchy. Might be easier with that stuff to do something much simpler, like just flip the sprite, or make a transition like a animated puff of smoke or something to cover it.

Two Sides Of A Coin by ANTZtakeover 2016-05-06T09:58:00

How do I play the Web version?

SUPER DEEP GAME BRO by Membrane 2016-04-18T11:40:00

So minimal and simple yet so complex and challenging.

Vishnu Launch by PeachTreeOath 2016-04-21T00:14:00

I got a lot of re-play value out of this. Was good fun!

You're a Floor Lamp Now by blinry 2016-05-09T11:06:00

Nicely playable.

The Fable of Gina by danbolt 2016-04-18T11:09:00

I like the old school flick screen design. Groovy tune. I'd really like to move diagonally, though.

Shieft by nicso 2016-05-09T11:17:00

Great game but where's the source?

Helium-4 by mountainstorm 2016-04-18T11:18:00

Where's the source code?

Grokh's Arena by Cerno_b 2016-04-18T11:12:00

I always find these games hard. Love the silhouette graphics though.
