Quite simple but entertaining.
I believe the controls are to complicated... Extracted a tree somehow, but couldnt do much. Still very nice concept, it just needs more work.

The shapeshifting idea is very good. The gameplay is interesting and fun. The movement is a little weird, and some times you die too fast. This game has potential :)
Really liked the teleport ability. I recommend readjusting the teleport only to be used in to the sides and allow the player to move freely forward and backward. Really good job!

@danbo try passing the game only in the bottom lanes. There is one planet that requires extra effort (no clear shot), but since it could get really difficult, only one planet has that feature
Nice game, interesting concept to retrieve your weapon. As a note, I tried playing on web using xbox controller on mac. I could use the stick to move, but I could not jump.

That was fun! At first I was like wtf I missed the abductions and they went flying to heaven, but later they returned. The plant liked humans, dead or alive.
Very nice game, fun, good graphics and matches the theme perfectly. My only advice is to try to add a different mechanic, to make it different to all shooters

Nice graphics. I once thought of the same theme, but instead of a bear, it was a corgi dog. For me, the best looking part is when the girl was defeated and you were in a sort of night look.

Really great entry, top music, top design, extremely polish. Just the wall climbing is extremely hard. I kept playing for the feel of the music, but leave because so hard jumping was not worth it.
Not sure why, but on mac is unplayable, the map flickers and moves. Tried on safari, firefox and chrome. All same results.
Wow, really good, the only thing for me that doesn't match is the music. For the first stage it was good, but for the next stages hearing the same track felt out of place.

I had my doubts at first with the incredibly small canvas, but was amazed when it grew. What I didn't liked was the sliding of the dog, you can have the precision required to fight when you only can shoot in two directions.
I suggest to make the movement more response or add shooting directions.

- Add moving arms when jumping or walking
- Voice acting. Use fiver.com for $5 buck audio. Cheap and awesome.
- Fix the bugs
- Improve controls

Nice art, has some issues. You asked for some tips, here is what I found:
- The music ends and doesn't start again, just loop it.
- Sometimes people get stuck and you have to return for them, so maybe if your distance is equal to certain number, let them go.
- Controls need a bit more tweaking, felt a bit unresponsive.
- Graphics are really nice, but the floor and the fire doesn't match completely the rest of the art.

Sorry it doesn't work as expected. Maybe give the post compo version a try and if it also gets stuck, run the debug version and see if the console outputs something.

Good idea about the unbreakable rocks. Maybe the drill can't break them but there are bombs you can buy to destroy them.

Its nice to see a gameboy inspired game. Art is pretty cool and liked that there are bosses after each level. Played a few of them, but controls felt too clunky for me to continue playing. Collisions are also very unforgiving.

Simple mechanic but enjoyable. My nitpick is that you may be in an old godot version that doesn't play well on macs. Bugged in 4.0 and 4.1, maybe try godot 4.5

Really enjoyed this game. The one I've played the longest of all the ones I've rated. Its simple but works really well. Some of the things I would have liked to see: - The collection, no idea what I was collecting and how long until I finished. - Display the limits of how much you can store. Ie 60/100 Wood - Lock the constructions if you don't have enough materials

I didn't read the instructions and was struggling to jump over obstacles. Was jumping and hoping the next card was an arrow and I was fast enough to play it. Cool mechanics!

not sure why, but I kept moving the mouse cursor next to the racket and of course failing to aim to the invaders. Loved the style.

itch definitely missing the link, I did the direct download and java -jar .Completed up to 4 waves, it is hard to shoot with spacebar, would be nice to shoot with the mouse click. Music was pretty good.
