Haha, you and I had very similar ideas! Similar game names as well.
I really like the way you've combined the two games.

I really like the way you've combined the two games.
Impressive scope for a 48 hour game.
The graphics caught my eye immediately, they really pop.
Overall a cool engine, would be nice to see as a full game.
I really liked the great Marmuk's lines, very funny.
I liked the characters. Couldn't get the blocks to stay on top of each other, my buildings all tumbled down.
Very neat, would be fun to play as a full game.
Very nice camera, the teleport felt natural.
Jumping through the double axes was really difficult, I only managed it once. For your first game, it's great!
Neat concept.
I enjoyed figuring out the correct number of missile upgrades to get before firing them as fast as I could.
Sometimes when I bought defense upgrades, my defense number reset to 0.
Would be nice to have a display of how many health points the buildings have left.
The typing minigame was fun.
Very cool concept, the game is difficult but I had fun managing my attention between the two areas.
Amazing mood. The feeling of navigating the boat is incredible.
I would love to play this as a full game.
Nice clean execution, would have loved an animation when the two squares touched.
The physics are good.
The background really irritated me.
Love the idea and the models are pretty.
Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'll definitely try to add sounds to a post-competition version.
@uvwar: Very good points, I'll take them into consideration next time I'm developing something. Thanks for your input.
@AdventureIslands 84800 is an amazing score! You beat my personal best by miles.
@Colapsydo: When the ball is at a screen boundary, it multiplies its x or y speed by -1 to reverse its direction. There's nothing that actually prevents it from going out of bounds though, so if a paddle or enemy ship pushes it out, it stays out. It's something I'm still looking at and have yet to find an elegant solution to.
You're correct about the velocity, the green ball's y speed is much higher than that of the blue one. When the green balls had the same y speed, it was possible to have 4-5 of them and the game became extremely easy.
Thanks for the constructive criticism!
Nice concept and fun to listen to!
Cool concept, very difficult though.
Beautiful palette.
Really cool concept and very nice, intuitive UI.
Walking back and forth got tedious, but harvesting crops was fun the first couple times.
Great sounds and mood.
Nice physics!
Fun and well made.
Being able to move around would add a lot to the game.
The first really funny LD game I've played. I really like the way the pigs and goats behave.
Nice idea and impressive solar system construction.
