- The game is really polished (found no bugs) - Nice graphics (youve used color palette and it is always appreciated) - I enjoyed most of puzzles but there were some random ones (fe. broken pipe was a bit confusing (i thought that level was broken till I looked at its name) and choose the pipe level was just random guessing ) - I couldnt get past level 12. There are only 2 items to use but somehow I couldnt solve it - ambient music reminded me about "Arx Fatalis". very atmospheric
This is the first ld48 game I checked and it is reeeally good. I hope there are more games with such quality. Good job

Level 12 relies on an unconventional use of bombs. Try bombing something other than dirt.

The game is not working it gives me a secuirity error
I unfortunatly couldn't play your game as there was an error popping up every time I wanted to run it. Also my antivirus program quarantined the file shortly after.
Great puzzle game! I loved the art style and the atmospheric "music" perfectly captured the mood of the game. :D

Very well done, really interesting mechanics, maybe it lacks of a pause menu but anyway it's pretty funny to play with this worm!
The worm sprite is adorable! Really nice graphics and a fun puzzle game to boot! Quality submission!
Now if only I could beat the broken pipe level...
Nice game. However why the game is paused by default? At the first level I was a bit confused. "Just watch", and nothing happens at all.
Fantastic puzzle game. Some really clever mechanics and I like that it allows you to start and pause the worm to see how it goes. I think having a speed up button would make restarting levels less punishing when trying to figure out later parts. Overall it's a great entry!

The warning could be caused by the file being uncommon (you being the first of the few persons to download it).

Really cool new idea here. I like the combination of snake game and puzzle. Would like to see tutorial or simple one action required level.

I think I saw a bug where the revert direction button didn't look enabled, but still worked.
@ehtd Thanks. Hmm... It gets disabled when you're partially in a pipe. Maybe you clicked it just as you exited the pipe?

A nice, carefully designed puzzle game. I didn't really get what level 8 was going for, but otherwise most of the game was pretty clear and made sense, with solid and clear art. Good job!
@tjm Thanks! Eh, apparently #8 confused a lot of people. The exit is in an unusual place there, I did my best to hint at where it is though.
This is my favourite game I've played so far I think, the idea is wonderful, the puzzles were tricky but fair in a way that felt really satisfying, its so polished! I'm blown away you were able to do all this in 48 hours, its so good!!
I know I'll just be parroting other comments here when I say: Sheesh, this is incredible for the time you made it in. The art got me to click. The puzzle design (and beetle) kept me around. The sound design will stick in my head for a long while. Brilliant stuff. I could use a much longer version of this please.

Its a really good game! I wish I could beat it though D: the only thing I can critique which I guess some others said also, but some of the solutions are not so intuitive for instance broken pipe is a smart idea but it just needed a crack or small visual indication that makes you think its possible. because otherwise the player is just following the set rules of the game that have already been laid out and its not so obvious. It suggests that other pipes with space near them can be entered, which doesnt seem to be the case. But overall really good

Great game, managed to beat all of the levels, but some were tricky! I thought 16 was going to be tricky, but then it took only a bait and 2 dirt... ^_^
The mechanics got surprisingly deep, from a simple set of actions. I didn't realize at first that you could modify the board after unpausing, and I'm not sure what I think about that, as it feels slightly too action-y and less puzzle-y, but it was used little enough that it didn't detract from the awesome whole ^_^.
I would have liked some kind of undo, as I often placed something in the wrong spot and immediately wanted to undo, but then had to reset and re-build my whole setup.
Visuals and sound were also good, well done!
Got stuck at #8 Broken Pipe - couldn't understand the logic behind it Nead little mechanic and nice polish Though more fine level tuning to make the difficulty creep in slower would make for a more enjoyable user experience - imo gg, tc :)

@strangeryann The exit was in the recess in the bottom pipe, at the left. Yep, I got some complaints about that level. Should've marked the true exit with a small crack or something.
this was a really good game. it took a bit to get going but once i figured out what the different items could do it was so much fun. my one gripe is that i had to start all over when one method did not work. no big deal thought. this would make a great casual game for people. thanks for making it.
Tricky little puzzle game. I know a few people got stuck on Level 8 but I managed to figure it out... and then got stuck on Level 9. I'm sure I can figure it out if I keep trying, though.
I like the graphics, as well as the general idea of guiding an earthworm's movements. It's a little difficult to predict where the earthworm is going to go, but you can always just run the level without doing anything, see what the worm's default behaviour is, then plan around it. By proceeding in that sort of trial-and-error fashion, you can usually tease out the solution to each level, even if it takes a few goes.
I love the pixel art graphics as well, nice job with those!
