Pretty fun gameplay. On my mac the default xbox shoot button is set to be the up d-pad button, which is very awkward. I think you got the responsiveness of the controls to a perfect degree though. Good job.
Really enjoyed playing this. I thought the music was very well done. Highscores are really needed for this sort of game! My best score is 247586 after two tries. Would have loved to know how that compares..
Very beautiful experience, I love the day/night effect though the transition between them is quite harsh.

Cool, I love the way the trees pop up out of the horizon. Moving the crates is a bit awkward using alt in the webplayer build. Perhaps disabling context menu for web would have been a good idea so that right clicking would have been viable, or even just auto pushing crates when you're near them.
Anyway, that's just a minor gripe, pretty fun and very interesting looking game overall.
Very nice, managed to get 530 after a bit of trying. I would like it if your score was displayed on the game over screen though (maybe replace the game title with the score after the initial load)

I wish I didn't have to wait for the (very low quality) go text to appear every level/death.
Otherwise its a pretty creative idea that I could see being very fun with some polish and a lot more levels.
I made it across in 126 seconds with 6 deaths.

Controls took a while to get used to, but I guess they need to be difficult to prevent the game from being too easy. As others have mentioned: some weird collisions. But overall it's pretty cool.

Interesting idea, one thing that I didn't like was that you had forwards momentum when jumping even if you weren't moving originally. That just made it somewhat unintuitive for me..
Super fun game. I would prefer it if the difficulty ramped up a bit faster in the beginning because the first 150 or so points are a little tedious. Also I would have liked it if the cube did a full spin in the air instead of just rocking forwards a bit. Great music!

The one thing that bothered me was a bit of flickering around the edges of shapes.
Kinda addictive, I think a nice audiotrack would really help it out. I like the sparse visual aesthetic.
Combat is a tad one sided, but the narrative is hilarious. Good job on implementing such a complex system in such a short amount of time!

I think I would find it more visually appealing if the blobs were instead different coloured lines being drawn onto the paper as well.

Pretty cool, I think it needs an incentivise going faster though, otherwise it's maybe too easy. It's a bit annoying that you can't jump if you're right up against an object.

This is brilliantly executed and one of my favourites this LD. I love the music, the gameplay and the graphical style. Only managed 13 on my second attempt, but I'll be back later to give it another try (though I don't think I'll be surpassing 91 any time soon!)
Took me a little while to get a handle on the controls, but after that it was pretty cool.
I would have liked to have a countdown timer during which time I had to input all instructions (preferably via directional keys and numpad) and then the whole level would be run through. As it stands it's a nice idea, but the controls are frustrating and the gameplay much too easy.
Very slick presentation and the gameplay is engaging and fun. Maybe I just haven't given myself enough time to get used to the controls, but I'm finding it very hard to navigate the player due to the amount he drifts and its slow turn speed. I'm with MauMaGau on the mouse aiming thing...

Some nice effects. Jetpack is a bit annoying to use because of all the blocks in the way. Maybe if you could weave between them by rotating the player to follow the mouse or something it could be really fun.
Very cool little game! Once I turned some music on it became very addictive (lack of music is my biggest and possibly only criticism).

Had a difficult time at first because I was using wasd to control and they are completely messed up. Arrow keys work just fine though. You should edit your entry to add the webplayer link. Nearly missed it in the comments lol.
Pretty cool. Personally I would prefer a slightly faster, more intense pace to the game, but it's very enjoyable as it is.

Cool idea. I think it would have been better if you had very few blocks to work with though. Also I somehow got stuck in edit mode on the first level that has a lever. (Edit mode text was visible, but I couldn't move blocks and pressing space did nothing).

Hey, I thought this was a pretty cool game. Interesting way of including the minimalism theme :)
There were a couple of small problems like I was able to just walk straight over the first set of spikes. I also experienced some problems with wall jumping and some animation problems if I changed directions while still holding the other button down. Still nothing major and I had a good time playing!
Man, that stupid elephant kept barging in and ruining the potato song!

Incredible! I absolutely love the music and the graphics are quite beautiful! As others have said, the difficulty pacing could be improved to prevent the beginning from being a bit tedious (at least it would become so after a few rounds, my experience was far from tedium the first time playing!). Otherwise, a truly marvellous entry.
Cool game, some of the dialogue was pretty humorous. It gave me great satisfaction to say "I'm not Dan" at the end haha.

Cool mechanic and graphical style, I managed to get up to the Abyss level before I became a bit frustrated lol. In one instance I was able to accelerate myself through the boxes above me using one of the vertical moving platforms.
Definitely needs some general polish, but overall it was a good experience.

Cool game, sound effects are pretty funny. Might be a good idea to say somewhere that shift will speed everything up, because otherwise (like acronaut said) it can be annoying waiting for all the lemmings to come around.

Extremely difficult, but I there's nothing wrong with a punishing game. I thought the controls were smooth and the wall jumping implemented very well (lots of games seem to get it wrong). I love the effect when the player dies, and am very grateful for the quick respawn times!
Managed to get 42,000 and will definitely be playing this lots more later. This is one of the most beautiful, polished and fun games of this LD in my opinion. Really fantastic work.

Woah that flashing lol. Pretty fun little game and I like the music. One thing that I found annoying is that if you move your block against the left side of the screen and keep moving the mouse left a little afterwards, when you want to move it back again you have to move it that extra amount before it will respond.
Took me a little while to properly get what was going on, but after that I really enjoyed it. The collisions are accurate, but I sometimes felt like a bit of leniency might have been nice. Only managed to get a score of around 2700 in the end (I keep dashing into the leaves when I'm charging a nearby potato lol). Tough little game :)

Just want to let you know that the game seems to break if I click on the suggest button multiple times. Either the score keeps changing and next word never loads, or next word loads, but comments go on forever and I can't press suggest theme button at all..
Very, very beautiful. The snow and blood effects were really great and I enjoyed rolling around and being a box. I found the text to be a little disruptive of the gameplay and you're probably aware that the baked shadows glitch out quite a lot. Also I didn't like the look of the car much, but whatever, excellent game!

Bit of glitching when you try slide into the walls, and one red square seems to get stuck in the border every level.
I managed 39. Very cool game mechanic and really rather a lot of fun to play. Only thing I don't really like is the colour palette. Also, an orthographic camera would of made a lot of sense here I think.

I would of liked to start off with a little more mobility and health (to compensate for my awful piloting skills!). This is a very fully featured game for just 48 hours so great work!
Nice, but there is a bug where if you hold down shoot with the crosshairs beyond your max shooting range and then move your cube close to the crosshairs, your max range seems to get set to the min distance between your cube and crosshairs in that time. Or something like that. Just thought I should point it out.

Not a bad challenge! Two things that frustrated a bit were a) having to change to my mouse to select next level or retry - it's a small thing but it gets annoying after a while (especially if you die a lot!!)
And b) If I shrank on the moving platform I'd sink into them a bit so that I couldn't jump immediately when I wanted to.

Thanks so much for all the feedback thus far guys! I'll remember to make sure the controls in my future games always allow for strafing. Lesson learned! The point some of you have made about a lack of a good tactic for evading enemies is very true and something I should have paid more attention to.

Quite beautiful and an interesting mechanic. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxed game. I thought the controls handled nicely considering the pace of the game, although I would have changed x to spacebar perhaps, since I pressed x instead of c once or twice which can be a bit annoying.

Oh shit, everything was going fine until I started touching the controls... I'm awful at this, but it looks and feels very nice. Great work. The theme was used quite sparingly.
So embarrassing story of the day, I somehow got muddled up and started spamming r instead of x for missiles. Took about 6 deaths to figure out what was going wrong haha! That aside, I must say this is a beautifully polished and extremely fun game. I wasn't a fan of the death texts (perhaps because I experienced so much of them!) Definitely one of my top entries for this Ludum Dare. Seriously good job!

The character renders over everything, which can look odd at times. Very interesting graphical style though. Right click is not the best button to use in a web build because of the context menu and when I go full screen my mouse gets replaced with a huge, cyan, striped texture! Good work otherwise though ;)

@michail, the game ensures at the start that there are enough items to complete your list, but then it's up to you to rush and get them before the bots do ;)
I wanted to have some way to fight the bots for items they had pinched, trolley jousting or whatever!
This is a very nicely polished entry mate. I like that the bar could have been something generic like energy, but you chose dirty socks. It made it all that much more enjoyable.

Great animations on the player, would have liked to see a special smack into cactus animation though. I think more could have been done in terms of sound effects, but what was there was nice. The pacing of the game was maybe a little on the slow side, but overall I think it was a pretty cool game with some hilarious graphics.

The graphics are indeed beautiful, although I feel the post-processing could have been a bit more subtle. Gameplay is a bit monotonous, but I understand that atmosphere was your aim, and you achieved it very nicely.
