Yay you used Tau!
Those are some pretty freaky nightmares. The hand especially. I liked the use of parallax backgrounds, and the title screen was beautiful. The animation could have had some bending at the joints. The controls were a bit clunky. Here's a great video about "juice" that would have helped out the controls and animation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fy0aCDmgnxg Ha ha, not enough time to do everything. Congratulations on finishing LD26!

Innovative idea, ha ha.
Wow. Incredible story. Great music. Amazing modeling, mood, and visuals.
The removal sound was bad. I thought at first it was because it wasn't in the same key as the music. The sound seems to slide from Eb to A but the music was also often hanging around Eb. Maybe if the sound was a piano, or natural instrument instead of a sine wave it would be better. Or maybe if you change the sound to be in F minor like Chopin then it would work better.
Otherwise this is fantastic, so far the highest rated game I've played.
Fantastic mood.
Very cool that you designed an unstuck instead of saying too bad you lost.
couldn't play, it wanted administrator permissions
Nice way to rebel against the theme, but still apply it. Great job making it feel much better in the non-minimal world. Even though I didn't mind the theme, the minimal world in your game is much worse.
Amazing mood, wonderful original music. Peaceful reflective explorer.
Thanks for all the great feedback everyone. I fixed the crashing bug where if you run out of walkways and hit a wall it won't let you play anymore. This also fixes the problem of running out of walkways.
Don't forget to hit spacebar to jump. The end of the game is not the "Aaron Alex" typing puzzle. It's after the 8 arrow puzzle after "asynchronous".
The other bugs remain because they fall out of the LD crashfix rule, such as not being able to hear Alex's defense of "oh come on, you got to get into a good company"
Just amazing, great work.
Cool game mechanics on yours. Felt like an old Nintendo game but with a fresh idea.
very cool idea
Wouldn't run on Windows 7 64 bit AMD. Command line error:
Uncaught exception - load.c(232) : Failed to load library std.ndll
There is a dll called std.dll but not one called std.ndll.
Wow, so many 80 hour RPGs are basically this game if you remove the graphics, fighting mechanics, and story. It makes me feel like I wasted an epic amount of time playing JRPGs where I didn't find the story compelling. I like the three word repetition theme and the music is perfect for RPGs. The square format is fun and makes the game feel small. I was shocked to see the right click menu was so extensive. Awesome game!
Wow this is great. It's a complete game that people could really get into the strategy. The graphics are great. Toward the end I found out you can amplify your beam by shooting through your own guys. Amazing!
Now _that's_ a retro game.
This would help tremendously with the controls:
void Update()
{
if (true == Input.GetKeyUp(KeyCode.Mouse0)) {
Screen.lockCursor = true;
}
if (true == Input.GetKeyUp(KeyCode.Escape)) {
Screen.lockCursor = false;
Screen.showCursor = true;
}
}
Nice modeling!
We finally fixed the major bugs, and the original is up also.
Angelina could use Screen.lockCursor, because mouselooking will make the cursor move outside the client bounds unless Screen.lockCursor == true. And of course, releasing the cursor when Escape is pressed.
Super creative with theme.
I really like that you spent time having more variety instead of 'proper' animations. The variety is fantastic.
