LD28 — You Only Get One

Diamond Warning by canary40 2013-12-16T04:06:00

Tight!

Shadow Night by ParaPup 2013-12-17T03:41:00

Jesus why did I play this in a dark room with headphones.

Autonomia by smilingrob 2013-12-17T04:20:00

I'll definitely check back for the completed version. Seemed neat, but in the version I played I was relegated to just beating the heart and exhaling (and eventually died via excess poison). Seems like it will be very complex once it's done. Looking forward to it!

Very interesting mechanic!

The Lone Tower by Masadow 2013-12-17T04:09:00

Gotta echo previous sentiments that this was a really clever twist on the TD genre. It felt and played very well. Great job!

You Only Get One DIMENSION by evilDan 2013-12-16T08:28:00

Neat visualization of 1D! It's technically 2D, right? Alpha represents the second dimension? :P

Short and sweet.

You Only Have One Color by mactinite 2013-12-16T07:41:00

Great controls. Cool mechanic, the AI started bunching up and it was very difficult to swap colors in time to hit all of them. Great job!

One Through The Gate by Wenzil 2013-12-16T03:48:00

Great camera and music!

You Have One Box by rob1221 2013-12-16T06:57:00

Great level design and cool mechanic!

The Black Lighthouse by funselektor 2013-12-16T04:34:00

Wow, awesome mood and graphics (really cool water effects!)

The ship was a bit hard to control for me, but great job!

Collector's Quest by Crigs 2013-12-16T04:23:00

Linux binaries updated. Thanks for playing and rating y'all!

Collector's Quest by Crigs 2013-12-17T03:15:00

Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback and hope you all had fun! Movement and controls will definitely be tweaked so it's tighter and less floaty. Cheers!

Existence by donaldducky 2013-12-17T03:52:00

I really enjoyed the experience and symbolism. I'm glad you wrote a walkthrough because I would have never been able to finish it otherwise. Great job!

Existence by donaldducky 2013-12-17T03:56:00

Just wanted to add that I hope you take this further; I really think using Chinese characters is a brilliant idea and the resulting experience was very, very cerebral, even if very literal in this entry.

ROOFTOP by blasmena 2013-12-17T03:31:00

GUYS PROTIP the key to winning encounters is to hold up and wait for cats to come to you. Guaranteed success.

Great package overall! A fighting mechanic like this is difficult to get just right for everyone; I feel that for me (I'm not a twitch player), it's hard to time the jumps just right so that I'm on top of jumping white cats. With a bit of tweaking (perhaps some hangtime in air?), I can see players really getting into mastering the mechanic.

Touch by WhoaConstrictor 2013-12-16T04:51:00

Awesome.

Ghostup by leafo 2013-12-16T07:50:00

Neat mechanic! Great graphics and controls as well. I think the level design is brilliant as well, big fan of narrow hallways and the bouncy protagonist .

Holiday Chopper Frenzy by mcgraw 2013-12-17T04:03:00

Awesome use of joints!

Beep Boop. Where will it go? by PapyPilgrim 2013-12-16T08:14:00

Love it!

Beep Boop. Where will it go? by PapyPilgrim 2013-12-16T08:40:00

To be more specific, I think the puzzles are very well-designed and fun to play through. Haven't finished them all yet, but it seems quite deep so far!

One Arrow by bugninja 2013-12-16T08:33:00

Pretty cool procedural generation of levels! 100 zombies was way too many for me to handle though. :P

There's No Going Back by XAND 2015-12-14T06:12:00

Fantastic entry! The mechanic is fun to wrap your head around and the music fits especially well into the puzzle solving mindset. I did find a dead state in level 5 in the top right corner of the map. If you jump on the arrows, all you can do is run hopelessly against the tree. Kinda funny in and of itself.
