One word: Gameception.
Good job on creating so many different games with so many different styles and some of them were pretty fun.
Cool graphics, haven't played a space game for ages. There were a lot of buttons and it was a little confusing. Very good work on the ship model.
*Works on Windows*
So fun. The music had me liking the game right away and the colors and polish are very good.
Wasn't really sure what to do, but liked the graphics and the surveillance look of it.
This fits the theme so perfectly! The movement reminded me of Incredipede, it was fun trying to figure out how to move.
You gotta speed up the intro 2-3 times faster, it was probably 2 minutes and not skippable... Graphics are top notch though.
Super difficult for me, it goes well with the theme though.
Couldn't run, got an MSCVS.dll error...
Another 404...
The theme was appropriate, funnily enough. WASD for controls would have been a little bit easier.
Cool idea. I like what you did with the shaders and graphic effects, it looks great in 2D.
The reload audio was a good touch, very intuitive.
Graphics are awesome! Controls were a little slippery though.
That was fun, props for making it in SDL, that takes skill. Nice and tight gameplay and controls.
That reminded me of Cookie Clicker, it started to become addictive so I had to stop :)
Good mechanic, I like being able to draw my player's routes, instead of just picking preset ones like in standard football games (ie. Madden)
Loved the moto-whoops and the tilt was cool. This would be perfect for mobile!
Reminds me of paper art, way to go with the graphics!
Good polish, the difficulty ramped up at a good pace. Takes lots of tries, but it's nice to see the past paths!
At first I was getting impatient, before I discovered the awesome mechanic to "see" your surroundings and to be "seen. It gives you a good sense of navigation, while allowing for tense gameplay.
The graphics are awesome. The upgrading was a little hard though, I wish there was a keyboard shortcut for each one instead. This a very well-rounded and though out game, nice job.
Nice, it was a blast to the past, reminded me of Descent.
The damage of the ship was implemented well, it would have been great if we could destroy asteroids, or at least push them away by shooting.
@Mildmojo
All the problems you mentioined are updated in the Post-Compo version!
Couldn't run it on Windows 8, console flashed with an exception about the std.dll
That was intense, I hope more people play it.
The personality of the box is hilarious. I laughed when he fell on his side and made that face. Most humorous game I've played so far.
I lasted 3 seconds. Superb graphics, it's like a blend between a web-design infographic and polished flash game. Very fun, but there was no restart button :(
Couldnt play, the Windows download had the Mac files. Hopefully you can switch it in soon!
I chose the kitteh. The timing of the moving objects was spot on and it was pretty satisfying being able to choose something after completing a level.
I liked it, the game has a clean simple look.
For fixing that getting stuck problem (assuming you're in Box2D), you could just change the restitution value of boxes to stop the unicycle from being halfway though.
I haven't played one of these for a long time, it was refreshing and a little voyeuristic- in a good way. The "You Only Get One" phrase sounds like it's straight out of a movie, I'd love to see a scene like that.
The mood was great. It seemed it was getting very dark and I was just mashing jump to see where I could go at times.
I saw a .gif of this one the front-page a while back, it's great to see the full game. The mechanic is good, it captures the theme and it is fun.
That was a really funny game. The waiters tipping over tables is hilarious. I wish the plates could carry food a little better, I couldn't even walk with anything. Maybe something a little more bowl-like would be better.
The hand-drawn art was really unique, haven't seen it in this gamejam yet. I wish the story had more to do with the levels, it was a little confusing.
The movement was a little fast for me, but on the other hand, I could look for stuff faster and not get bored!
Cool graphics, liked the simplicity.
